WELL, ANY ASPECT OF RUNNING A COMPUTER REPAIR SERVICE CENTER.....YOU ARE AT THE RIGHT PLACE!! THE LOCATION IS IN A STRIP MALL IN NORTH MYRTLE BEACH. EASY IN, OUT! THE STORE LOOKS CLUTTERED BUT IT'S NOT. IT IS ACTUALLY ARRANGED BY COMPUTERS NAME, THEN PARTS FOR THAT COMPUTER....AND SO ON! NEXT: THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF ANY BUSINESS....THE PERSONNEL!! EVERY SINGLE INDIVIDUAL INVOLVED WITH JUSTASKHAL.....ALWAYS RESPECTFUL, CURTIOUS, DELIGHTFUL TO SPEAK WITH, ALL AROUND JUST GOOD PEOPLE. I THINK LAURA NEEDS TO CHANGE THE NAME OF THE STORE, BECAUSE THERE IS NO MORE "HAL"!!! THE REASON THERE IS NO MORE HAL IS JUST BECAUSE HAL DIDN'T FILL THE STORE REQUIREMENTS. LAURA IS A GREAT OWNER OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT.

Honest, fair price, quick turn around time and very good Customer service. I picked up my PC today after having it repaired after lightening damage. This was the first time I needed to have a computer repaired and I was pleasantly surprised on how well it went at Just Ask Hal. I've been a customer of Hal's for over 10 years. Wouldn't think of taking my computers anywhere other than Hal when they are in need of repair. Have purchased lap tops, hard drives and additional RAM throughout the years and each time at a fair price with a quick turnaround. Even helped me retrieve my iTunes library when I thought it was lost. Hal and his staff are great...highly recommend!

Have used their services in the past: Horrible service, extremely rude and disrespectful. Dealing with his staff wasn't any better, they weren't very helpful. You may want to try somewhere else, not worth the headache and stress. As stated by another reviewer, he is a recent criminal, and lost his business license due to fraud/tax evasion. One more reason to skip doing business with this shady businessman. New location, same horrible owner.

I EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM, HAL REPLIED "IT'S PROBABLY JUT A SWITCH THAT NEEDS FLIPPED.". Pro: He seemed to have detailed knowledge. Con: When I went to him, he charged by the time, and his internet at his shop was outrageously slow. He pretended it was my hard drive being an older one for the transfer, but it was not. I told him I was unhappy, paid him something for his time, because at his rate, it would've taken forever to transfer the items, and at an outrageous fee. I took it to Office Depot, and the transfer went really quickly, (10 minutes not projected hours), and it was a moderate fee, not hooked up to his in house slooooow internet. This was years ago, so I do not know if it is better now. But, if you have a specialty problem, who knows? I can only review for my transaction there. But, for what I needed, it was not good.

We've tried 3 times to give this company our business. Each time they seem to be more rude to us than the last. Hal was on the phone during one visit, without even acknowledging my presence, used profanity to the caller until the point I almost departed. They seem to do the work well and at a reasonable price; however appear to be irritated that a customer walks through the door. My son was asked "what do you need that couldn't wait until tomorrow?" Rude and unprofessional. We've found assistance with another company.
