Brought laptop in for ill-connecting power jack. Already tried brand new adapter from Best Buy. David's says nothing wrong with jack, need new adapter (says one I have is too big), and need new fan to keep it from overheating and turning off (has never done that). When called for me to pick it up he then says he had to solder the jack. NOW, multiple keys don't work, it will not stay connected to the internet, and he didn't put the solder on the itemized statement (I'm certain this was the only issue there ever was which he figured out after the bogus work that was done). We'll see what they have to say when i go back once they reopen.

The charging port fell inside my laptop and needed to be recovered. I went to iDavid where I was asked to leave my laptop for diagnostics and they would call with a price. This is inconvenient because I don't live close. Thankfully, he was understanding. Then he quoted me a whopping $170! I repeated it back to him, he confirmed, I thanked him and said goodbye. Most places I called quoted an estimate of $80-85. Needless to say I went elsewhere..Mr. PC located on Forum Dr. to be exact, got a quote in under 5 minutes, and my PC was finished in under 2 hours for 90 bucks!! Since 1 star is the minimum, I'll give 2 stars for the friendly atmosphere. To the owner's response: Since I paid $80 less than what you quoted for the SAME service, I can afford to eat one of the biggest, juiciest steaks they offer! With your prices, I'm sure I'll meet you there eating off someone's mistake of NOT shopping around :-) !! Happy Holidays!

They installed a new operating system and cloned my old hard drive to the new one. The price was very reasonable and was repaired in a timely manner. I am not sure what to think of this place. The people were very nice; however, I felt a little scammed. The initial repair bill for my 50inch Vizio was $409.00. When I declined to repair at the price of $409, I was told they would try to find a cheaper supplier of parts. I got a call the next day quoting the repair at $289. I still decline the repair. Feeling like the business was untrustworthy, I asked to pick up my television. When I got to the store to pick up the television I was asked to allow them to keep it for parts instead of putting it in a landfill. I asked if they were willing to buy the television, but I was told they no longer do that because they have so many parts. My first issue is you shouldn't have to finagle the price. Call the customer with your best price. Secondly, are you planning to donate the parts from my television, since you received the parts free(NO). Did it really cost $409 to repair my televison or did you just need the parts? Feeling confused and scammed.

I came in unannounced and heard "hey teach" and was asked about a computer they fixed 6 months ago and how it was running. They go out of the way to help and make sure you get what you need. The staff are quick to laugh and smile as well as provide great customer service and suggestions.It is OBVIOUS they all take great pride in this location. This is more than just a business for them.

First and foremost, their service is truly professional and they keep the customer fully informed. Second, their pricing is very reasonable considering that they have to deal with the cost of replacement parts as well as wage and overhead requirements. Third and finally, they are courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable as well as more than happy to keep you informed of their progress with repairs. I had been prepared by two techs to get ready to purchase a new HD blah blah blah. Michael fixed it and did not have to have fix any of my HD or ports. One of the nicest and fair repair shops I have ever been to. They ended up loaning me a TV at no cost while they tried to repair my flatscreen. When they found out that it was most likely a compatibility issue with my sound board, they didn't charge me a thing! Not even a fee to look at the system to see what was going on. I would come back here for any repair needs and hope anyone looking for TV, computer repair, to check out iDavid! VERY impressed!!!
