Took my iPhone 6 into them in January, the screen was shattered with tons of dead-spots, home button was missing, and I could head people on the other end of voice calls, only through FaceTime. it was basically running on fumes for months until the day of. Gave it to them and they had everything repaired within the hour. Speedy work, great people and an trusting environment

I was very excited when my screen has was fixed I paid $600 but shortly after I started to notice the screen would do a quick flicker. I had so much school to turn in by the end of the year and did not have transportation to get it back to Experimac. By the time the school year ended my screen started going completely black. When I have called they told me to bring it in. I told the women Im in charlotte NC, is there anyway I can have assistants. I was told a manager would contact me after he was done with a customer. I never heard from them again my calls seem to be ignored and now my warranty is up tomorrow. I was given a run around for a whole month, luckily I was able to turn in my college work right before the problem got worse. very disappointed spending $600 here. ----------------------------------- Additional Comment added Aug, 22 2018. I already purchased another macbook june 19th.

This is a wonderful place. We bought a phone from them and also had some issues with an iPad. I chose to take my 3 year old Macbook Pro here based on google reviews for a diagnoses. We were quickly told our computer was showing a CPU failure and were told the $1,200 computer was worthless. He offered to buy the screen for $100. I decided to get another opinion and take it to Wedge instead. It turns out the issue was only my hard drive being full and after changing the way my dropbox was syncing my computer was running fine. I'm SO glad I didn't listen to the tech and sell my $1,200 for $100. I will not be coming back here.

I stopped by Experimac Columbia East today because I couldn’t get my Iphone 5S to charge anymore. The gentleman in the front desk helped right away and didn’t even charged me even that it required some time to work on my Iphone. The service was great and very professional, the place looks amazing and they have great deal on the electronics that they sell. What can I say? Experimac knocks it out of the park. They offer prompt service and they are SUPER knowledgeable. My Macbook Pro was having major issues and they were able to diagnose the issue AND back up and save all my info. They also have fantastic prices on other Macs and Mac accessories-- very competitive with Apple and other retailers and what not. Eric and his team are the best!

This place is absolutely the best. About a month ago I saw an ad about this place and I was like hmmm let me go take a look. I ended up purchasing an iMac at a very low price and it works perfectly. Only downside is that I can not update it further than el captain. No biggie. Like I said my Mac works fine. I also got an apple TV 3rd Gen at a lower price too. They do military discount as well. Check them out!!!

This is my 3rd item I’ve brought to the store and I was able to upgrade my MacBook to a 2015 iMac for a very reasonable price that others could not match. Deon and Eric were extremely helpful and gave me all the information I needed to feel comfortable with my purchase and knowledgeable when walking out the door. After spilling coffee on my eight-year old MacBook Pro, I took it to Experimax, on a friend's recommendation. The store's service was superb. They were gracious and quick in getting my MacBook Pro back to me. Not only did they save my Mac from the coffee damage, but they cleaned the exterior, the keys, and the screen. Also, they firmed up some of the keys themselves. It actually looked and felt like a brand new Mac! I certainly will be recommending Experimac to all the Mac-folks that I know.

I took my Apple Macintosh MacBook Air in to be repaired. We went to a grocery store down the road and got a call from them telling me that it was ready to pick up. We were gone about fifteen minutes. I went to Experimac, Northeast Columbia, not knowing what experience I would have. I chose Experimac on Two Notch because of the reviews being so positive. The reviews were not worng. The crew is welcoming and make you feel right at home. Eric took care of my problem and spent a lot of time explaining things to me. The price was less than I expected and much lower than some places I have been previously. I highly recommend Experimac in Northeast Columbia. I cannot be more pleased.

Went to the big box store geeks and they told me I needed to make an appointment to have my mac serviced. The one time fix package was going to be $149 to start. I came across the street here and had my Mac serviced for $49 and was done in a few hours. Great customer support and fast turnaround time! I ended up up grading my ram and changing my hard drive to ssd for greater speed and do not regret it! Highly recommend!

My MacBook Pro couldn't find its startup disk when I would try to turn it on. I talked to Apple over the phone about it, and tried several different ways to fix it. None of them helped, so I was about to bring my MacBook to the nearest Apple store (Augusta). However, I luckily found Experimac in Columbia, who ran an assessment on my computer and found out my hard drive was failing. They were able to replace it with a new one and thankfully also transfer all of my data over. The customer service was friendly and it didn't take them long to get my computer back to me. I would definitely recommend using Experimac for Apple issues!

Need a gently used but NEW looking Macbook/Mac desktop? Please checkout Experimac! I am the owner of a few aging Macbooks where the OS cannot be upgraded to the latest and greatest. I spoke with the owner about options available with my current Macbook(s) and I was able to recycle mine for credit towards another on that was 10xs better in the store!! The customer service from the owner and the technician were hands down the best ever! The store front was very inviting and easy to navigate. I am Mac user so I did not have many questions but the ones I did have were quickly answered. Many thanks goes to Experimac for such quick customer service and great pricing! As I am out of town alot this is a great one stop shop to meet my Mac needs! Thanks & keep up the good work!

I was so beyond nervous to enter the store ( so much so I was just sitting in my car staring at the doors) because I'm a broke college student working an unpaid full time teaching internship who had a broken laptop. After finally walking in, the people were so kind and friendly, and eager to help. They listed all prices and explained details about my computer in a language I could understand. They also offered me a 10% student discount (because they probably felt bad for me, tbh) just plain out of generosity, because typically they don't have student discounts. They took care of my laptop that same day and were very helpful with all that I needed and all my crazy questions and worries. Highly recommend. They rock, and listen to snazzy music, so check 'em out.

So my almost 2 year old iPhone battery took a complete dump the day before Xmas and I nearly died. I woke up to no alarm. I had no idea what day it was, what time it was, or even what year it was! I had no calendar, no reminders, no texts, no contact with the outside world, nothing. I considered ending it all, but I found this awesome place on two notch who installed a new battery in like 15 min for only $39.99! Apple wanted $79 and for me to drive an hour to Charlotte or Augusta (and they didn't even have any appts because it was the busy holiday season). Just wanted to give Experimac a shout out!!! They do all things apple and even sell used iPhones. Super nice staff and trustworthy people. My battery is brand new. I can go all day without charging it and I'm on it a lot.
