They spent a lot of time transferring over the huge amount of files from our old computer and assisted in downloading needed programs that would be compatible with the old windows based files on our new Mac. Great service and responsive warranty follow through. Great shop and owner!

Awful! I went to get my iPad mini fixed. They shipped it off to Louisiana and lost it. The gave me a replacement, at a price of $100. Less than 75 days later, the replacement ceases to charge, and the manager blames it on me for the charging port being too big. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Edit: After reading the owner reply, I found a few discrepancies. First of all, the iPad mini they gave me (which was at a cost) was the same generation, not newer. Second, it appears that my comment was unclear. I stated that "Less than 75 days later, the replacement ceases to charge." I was incorrect. The comment should have stated that less than a month later. Additionally, the charging cable that was provided did initially work, but ceased to after the aforementioned period. Apologies for the confusion.

Note: battery turned out to be defective after 4 weeks—returned for a replacement and got one promptly, no questions asked (as batteries can be defective). I run my own voiceover and multimedia business and was down for several days because my iMac was in another facility being worked on and decided I had to buy another system so after looking online discovered experimac with lower prices and a real store with knowledgeable people. Purchased an iMac from Mike and then got my older iMac fixed by Jonah when another shop couldn't figure it out - he spent hours working on it and called me numerous times to update me on the progress and in the end the repair cost was minimal because they credited me the cost of Ram for an earlier purchase. Highly recommend and won't go anywhere else for my Mac purchases and repairs.

Appalling business ethics, physical aggression, extreme incompetence, and thieves are the words that come to mind after dealing with this business. This business is a SCAM. Please read the experiences I have had here within the past week. I just created a Yelp account for the purpose of writing this review. I cannot express enough how illegitimate of a business Experimac Northwest is. I am a college student who brought their iPhone here for repair, and have never experienced such treatment by a business owner in my life. From what I have seen, they dupe people who do not know any better when it comes to technology. For simplicity here is the timeline of my experience, and if you are short on time please at least read the last point I make: 1. I bring my iPhone in that will not turn on, so they say it must be the battery and replace it at a steep fee of $80, but since I had no phone I agreed. 2. I get home that night and the same thing happens again, so I bring it back in and they tell me that I actually need a new charging port. They cannot refund me the $80 for the battery, nor will they fix the actual problem free of charge but they MIGHT be able to cut me a deal on it. 3. I ask for the owner, but he is not in that day so I take my phone to CPR Cell Phone Repair in Columbia (10/10 business by the way), who then showed me that when Experimac worked on my phone, they did a hackjob-- pieces were missing out of the back, there was a part disconnected, and most importantly they took my perfectly fine apple battery out of the back in order to refurbish it and sell it, and then replaced it with a cheap battery instead. 4. I go back to Experimac Northwest for the fourth time, hoping to speak to the owner. When I get there I walk in smiling introducing myself, despite the obvious ethical and competency issues with this business. He rudely says, "Okay...what do you want?" and then proceeds to refuse to refund my money that I paid to fix my phone. He agrees to take another look at it, so I leave my phone momentarily before turning back to get it, not trusting this business at all. 5. Finally, I walk back in explaining they can keep the money I spent, all I want is my phone and battery, and that I am taking my business somewhere else. After closing it up, one of the two workers goes to hand me my still broken phone, and as soon as I get it the owner RIPS IT OUT OF MY HANDS, HOLDS IT BEHIND HIS BACK, AND REFUSES TO LET ME LEAVE WITH MY CELL PHONE. He urges that I sign a piece of paper he just scribbled on, essentially saying that he did nothing wrong. I refused at first, but once I realized he was holding my property hostage and would not give it back unless I signed, I did it. I was a young girl being abused by a grown man, and the owner of the business. He forced me into signing a document I never intended to sign, in hopes of clearing his name legally. I am appalled and disgusted and left with an irreparable phone, and a loss of $80.

They sold me a MacBook Pro broken I payed $800 and 4 months after warranty expired I spend $150 with hard drive they said that it is normal replace HD , two weeks later my computer stopped work, they said it is not their fault but mine . I didn’t open my computer and tried to fix they did for replace the hard drive , probably something happened so I had a horrible experience and I will never back in this store or buy a used computer. They don’t know how can treat a costumer they are horrible!!

We were having a fairly serious issue with our mini Mac and they did a diagnostic that proved nothing wrong with the computer itself, and suggested that the internet provider was the issue. Right on....that was indeed the issue and it is fixed now! Appreciate the excellent service, response time, and costs. I had a Genius Bar appointment with Apple, but figured I'd check Experimac out before I drove all the way to GA. I was very impressed with the service they provided. I somewhat knew what was wrong with my computer, but they ran diagnostics just in case, and the repair was done way quicker than I could imagine. I settled on a series 3 watch and a 2018 iPad. I’ve had them for about two months now and haven’t had a single issue. They only deal with Apple products. Went with son to try and repair his phone that had gone into the water. Unfortunately NOT repairable. However, we found the staff and owner to be very friendly and informative. They credited the repair fee towards a used phone he decided to purchase from them and they gave him some store credit for his broken phone as well.
