I am always impressed with their level of expertise and speed in fixing my issues, as well as their ability to who above and beyond in handling my technical issues. Norm was very helpful with my personal laptop. I had my inverter replaced twice by another company within a year, and when I was having the same symptoms I gave Delson Computers a try. Norm actually stopped by my work and looked at it. He quickly discovered that the problem was not with my inverter, but a power source problem. Until I can get a new power source, he helped me retrieve some data that I did not have backed up elsewhere. He also offered to help me shop for a new laptop that would fit my needs when I have the money to be able to upgrade my equipment. On a side note: he was also very personable. We bonded over huskies and Reddit. By doing this, he was able to keep me calm about the problems with my laptop and reduce the amount of panic I was feeling. So all around great guy that has a patience and a wealth of knowledge about computers.

I’m a business owner in Charleston, SC. After having problems getting my computer to start up one morning I took it to a local computer store to see if they could diagnose and fix it. After they had it for 2 days they said the computer needed to be completely wiped and that they could not retrieve my QuickBooks files. It had been around 4 weeks since my last external back up so this was a huge problem. My husband found Delson Computers on-line and suggested I try them. Norm was able to see me that same day and within half an hour of arriving at his office he had all my files, most importantly my QuickBooks files, backed up on to an external hard drive. Needless to say I’m extremely happy with the Norm and his company. Not only did they save me from having to recreate weeks of data but once I had my new computer Norm transferred all my files to my new computer and had everything set up within a very short amount of time. I am generally an advanced computer user and had run into a problem with my home server that I absolutely could not figure out (It is an HP desktop with attached 8 bay SATA hard drive tower). Norm and his team are true life savers. I spilled water on my MacBookPro and it wouldn't turn on. Naturally, I took it in to the Apple store to see what they could do. They told me the motherboard was fried and that it would be $800 to repair and it would take more than a week. Mind you, this is my only computer, without this, I can't do a thing. I called Norm, thinking he may know what to do, sure enough - he did. I brought it in, he fixed it for me for way less than Apple wanted to charge and I had it the next morning. Josh and Norm are absolutely amazing. My computer started to crash and act extremely slow over the weekend. Josh and Norm listened to what I had done to troubleshoot and were able to run a few diagnostics to quickly find that my hard drive was failing. I was in desperate need of some help with my desktop, which accidentally got knocked over and was no longer booting up. I found Norm Delson online and contacted him to see if he could help. He contacted me back immediately and I dropped my desktop tower off for him the following day. He was very professional and great to deal with. It turned out that the motherboard had been damaged due to the tower getting knocked over and Norm wisely suggested that it was just not worth putting the money in for a new motherboard for a 2 year old desktop and that it would be a better option to just replace it. He spent a lot of time trying to figure out the problem and only charged me the diagnostic fee, despite going way above and beyond to try to crack the issue. I will definitely use Delson Computer for all of my future IT and computer repair needs and recommend that anyone in need of such services do the same. Thanks Norm!

I'm a teacher on James Island and my husband told me to take our iMac and Macbook Pro to the Apple store on King Street Store. Our Macbook Pro wouldn't start - our son had spilled chocolate milk on it. Apple said they needed over 800 to replace the motherboard. Delson fixed that over night - the repair was SIGNIFICANTLY less. Our iMac was running very slow and the store said we needed to have it re-imaged. We took it to Delson Computer to get a second opinion. They charged us half of what the Apple store wanted for the iMac re-image and it runs great now.
