I dropped my sons computer off here six weeks ago, they told me then they had to order the part from China and to be patient. I called two weeks ago and was told the part was still not in. I just called again now and was told that 11 days ago the new part was put in and did not work, and the computer was deemed unrepairable. I have no issues with it being unrepairable, but I was never notified. My son is in college and certainly needs a computer. This is almost two weeks without a computer that I could have done something about it.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I am especially mentioning the employee named Jay. You need to get your life together man. Read/Learn what customer service is because YOU. SUCK. AT. IT. Anyways, I dropped off my Tower PC in Summerville on the day of July 27th, and it took them more than 2 weeks not knowing anything of what is really wrong with the PC, not knowing how to fix it. I'm a bit disappointed because this is my 3rd time to have them fix something for me but this time it's not a mere broken screen phone/tablet. I work in a hotel industry and they have discount cards dropped off at where I work.. If it's just broken phone/tablet screens I would definitely recommend them but if it's all about computers (especially HC gaming computers) I WOULD NOT! Very exhausting, infuriating and unhappy experience. And mind you they're charging me $60 for not even a single answer of what's broken/damaged. Word of advice: LEARN HOW TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR EMPLOYEES CAUSE IT IS VERY FRUSTRATING TALKING WITH SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING AND AT THE SAME TIME GIVES YOU AN ATTITUDE.

The phone repair was satisfactory but the timestamps I was giving and various delays caused some issues. When I first called on 7/19/18 and told them about my phone I was told it was gonna take 2 hours. When I turned it on 7/20/18 it was a couple hours before closing time so the work couldn't start no issue there. The problem I have is that I told them I needed my phone back before Monday of 7/23/18 for my job and I was told it would be done late Saturday or Sunday. I came on Sunday and it was not ready nor was my phone in the shop. I was later told it be ready around noon 7/23/18. When I came to pick it up at 4pm it was still not done being fixed and I had to come back 2 hours later to pick up my phone once it was finally fixed. This time projections need better organization or at least have enough technicians to fix a phone instead of relying only on one person. At the moment 7/24/18 I have not encountered any issues with the phone itself so the repair itself is good.

I wouldn't listen to the user who claims these people are "amateurs," I've had three devices fixed in the past few months and they all work perfectly. They look just as good as when I first got them out of the box. I'm very picky when it comes to repair shops and when I went to CPR back in August I spoke to the manager, Travis, who was very helpful in diagnosing my Galaxy S6 which had a bad LCD. The pricing was fair and I got my device back the same day. I was so satisfied, as mentioned before, I've brought in two more devices to get repaired. Don't go anywhere else. These guys are reasonably priced, professionals that will do whatever needed to get your device up and running. 5 stars!

I would stay far, far away from this business. There are MANY other locations in the Charleston area where you can go to get a phone fixed that is more likely to yield positive results. They rendered the Touch ID on my phone useless while replacing my screen and the owner tried to justify it by saying “well, your phone is worth more now with a non cracked screen than it was with a working Touch ID so you can go trade it in and get more for it.” As a business owner in the community, I would not even THINK of minimizing a mistake my company made in such a way. What if I wanted my screen to be clear of cracks AND my Touch ID to work?

Excellent customer support! I just changed my review from 1 star to 5 because of the EXCELLENT follow up performed by this store. Within 30 mins of posting my experience there I was contacted by one of the owners to hear what had happened. After our phone conversation he did everything to make it right. He replaced the bezel to the phone and repositioned the screen properly with no cost to me. The repair was done perfect however I discovered that the phone was no longer working in the dark afterwards. Took it back to the store and they had it repaired within minutes and my LG G4 looks and feels brand new again. They completely pulled a 180 on me that was AMAZING and I know if it had been a larger company they probably wouldn't have bothered contacting me back. Kudos to the crew at CPR and reminding me what great customer service feels like.

They replaced my iPhone speaker in about 10 minutes when told them I was in a rush with no appointment on my way to work. I barely had a chance sit down before it was fixed. If you’ve never been to the Apple store downtown, save yourself a field trip. I got my battery replaced there last year. It took four hours. Oh, and CPR was less expensive and didn’t try to upsell me on new gadgets while I waited.

Brought my working phone to have glass repaired. Worked great before drop off with absolutely no issues but the cracked class. When I got it home I realized my keyboard was not working correctly. Spoke with Travis who told me to bring it back and he will fix it. Not only did he fix the problem, he replaced the glass protector I had on it that I had cracked. Came into CPR Repair today to try to get iPhone on after going to Verizon and the Apple store with no luck. Dylan helped me and was amazing! He was able to fix my phone so I could get all our photos we thought were gone for good. Apple IT on King Street said we would have to send to a data recovery specialist and that it was a software issue which was going to cost over 1k when we called. Walked in lastnight on my way to grab some food and it was right before closing. My iPhone 6 Plus had been giving me trouble charging for about 2 weeks. I asked could they replace the charging port on it as I was sure it had gotten screwed up from all the bouncing around my phone endures during my daily travels in my dump truck. Fully prepared to have to pay a small fortune to get this done I felt it was either this or break the bank and go ahead with getting a new iPhone 8 Plus (which I still plan to do just not as soon now) the girl says it looks like ya just got some lint in there clogging it up. Long story short they pulled my little lint bunny out of its hole in my charging port and now I can charge my phone without having to lay it a certain way and not touch it. The best part is..........I wasn’t charged a dime even though I offered to pay for the service!! If you’re having trouble with your phone charging or any other issues, I’d firmly say these guys could help ya out and were very friendly! Thanks again guys!!

Really overpriced cell phone repair with amateurs fixing them. I brought my phone to them and CPR said they'd take care of it. For 200$ 2 weeks later I called to see if my phone was ready since no one called me like they said they would. They said yes, come get it. So I pick it up and I noticed the glass wasn't seated right. Guy said he'll put more adhesive on it. Comes back 5 minutes later and said he broke the screen he would have to order a new one. A week and a half later I call them and ask if my phone is ready since they never called. They said yes, come get it. I picked up the phone and it had the same issue as the first time. I was aggravated and didn't want to deal with it again so I just left. Two weeks later, my phone fell from a foot and a half onto plastic binders and cracked. I'm not going back to them again! Brought phone to someone else. They were waaaay cheaper and fixed it right. The issue with the glass not sitting right turned out to be excess superglue. It warped the plastic on the inside of the phone so it wouldn't close right. They used SUPER GLUE , not model glue but superglue to try to hold my screen together! Never going back to them.

I took my cell phone in which only had a little water damage to the screen. Paid for the screen & labor replacement, but then the speaker didn't work after receiving the phone back. I took it back stating that it needed to be fixed and was told I was out of luck unless I can prove that it worked before they 'fixed' the screen. While the staff was nice this was a horrible customer service experience. I understand there are unhonest people in the world but why would I pay to have my screen fixed without mentioning a problem with the speaker to begin with?? Beware before leaving your equipment with them, take pictures, video, etc.----any evidence you can before you entrust your devices to them because they will not back up their own work. I gave 2 stars because the screen was replaced.

Something I realize now is that Verizon replaces the screen on your phone for only $29 with an insurance claim. They come out to your location and fix it. Crazy cool service! Meanwhile, I took my phone to get the screen replaced at CPR a couple of weeks ago before I found this out. They told me they were my better option because I was not wanting to pay the typical $200-$250 deductible to make an insurance claim. Well BIG mistake, the thumbprint recognition would not work after they fixed it the first time so they replaced it again after a little flak from me. I leave and less than a week later there is a pothole like shape under the screen protector not to mention the screen was causing apps to randomly appear. Today the screen shatters so I went to get a replacement or a refund, but they didn’t budge. There is no way a good screen should have broke the way it did under the protector and in a good case. They won’t give me my money back or a replacement (which would probably be just as bad). I WILL NOT use CPR again because they don’t back their work or products and clearly the pothole in the phone proves a defect. Please check with your insurance company FIRST to see if they have a cheaper way to fix your phone!

Fixed my husbands water logged i Phone 7 in a matter of two days. Reasonably priced for service and parts.The only issue I had was lack of communication on their part. A technician would say he/she would call and provide status 3 times and never called. It was me that had to call them each time. The last time they said they would call when phone ready to pick up. Three hours and no phone call. I stopped by store only to learn it had been ready for over an hour. No response given for why they didn't call when I asked them. I would go here again as the do goo work at comparable prices. They aldo do the work right...and they are fast. Next time Ill just make sure and follow up more instead of them calling me.

I took my working IPhone 5s into to this store just to get a cracked screen replaced was told 45 minutes the phone would be ready to go. I returned 1 hour later to be told my phone had water damage and needed a treatment that they were doing free of charge to call back later that afternoon. I called them at 4:30 was told it would be ready at 5:00. Called them several times at 5 and I got voice mail. I drove to the store to pick it up and got told it would not be ready till Sunday at noon. By this point I was very unhappy a 45 minute fix had turned into two days.At 6:00 I received a call from the store telling me they were returning my miss call from earlier. I ask the gentleman to explain what was going on with my phone he assured me everything was ok it was working but they just wanted to make sure it was free of all corrosion I could pick it up 2:00 on Sunday. I returned to pick up my phone that no longer works it want even power on. Please don't take your phone here. Now I have to purchase a new iPhone because I have another year till my upgrade.

Very disappointed in the repair. Was charged $232 for screen replacement and when I got the phone back there was glass fragments in the camera where they did not a clean the interior of all loose objects. Then two weeks later when i go to have service cut back on the screen turns black an did not turn back on. I return the p tohone an they claim they are not responsible due to major scratches an damage on the screen, yet this is my first time using the phone to activate. Yes there uwere a few minor scratches from it sitting in my center console but no major damages. They gave me the owners number an she says they will pay half ($80) towards the repairs an I was not happy an threatened with a lawyer. Also how is $80 half of $232. So after threatening with lawyer the owner did not have the audacit seey to call, she texts me an says they will pay for the new repairs. Well i take the phone back for another screen replacement an a week later on friday get the phone back . By Sunday the phones screen goes black again. So I call the office an they said I would have to wait 2 weeks for manager to get back from West Ashley store a which is only 30 min away. So I text the owner an did not get a response so I called her an left a message. Well after two hours I called her back to back to back an she ignores my call. I can tell when a call is iignored because it rang 5-7 times then vmail, well on second it went to vmail two calls in a row. And it's been 4 days an have not heard back anything. So I'm starting to assume I got scammed out of $232. This pltace tis vyery unprofessional an I do not believe the workers have the proper training on how to repair cell phones. Being that the owner ignored my text, calls an v-mail I don't feel she should have a business with the professionalism she portrays, an not to forget taking my $232 an now will not answer or return calls. "THE ONLY REASON THEY HAVE GOOD REVIEWS IS BECAUSE THEY OFFER A FREE SCREEN COVER FOR A 5 STAR REVIEW". If you are begging for good reviews than at least give quality work, an stand behind your warranty.

I am writing this review in appreciation for the service Summerville cell phone repair shop has given to me . As an accident-prone person I am always in need of getting my cell phone repaired and in what often seems the most time sensitive of situations. For example I will be interviewing for a work-at-home job tonight that involves using my cell phone for the interview. So when my cell phone broke I began calling all around in a nervous Frenzy and no one in the entire Charleston area had available and in stock what my phone needed to be fixed. Finally I called Summerville cell phone repair shop and not only did they have the screen needed to fix my phone in stock but they fixed it in a very short window of time so that I could have my phone available for use tonight. I usually don't write reviews but due to my appreciation for the professionalism and availability of Summerville CPR not only am I writing this review but they have a new customer.
