They let me know the straight deal (it turned out to be more than just a cracked screen) and my options, instead of just taking my money and letting me take a big risk. I took a work phone by this morning for one of my vessels that had a screen get cracked over the weekend. Our company has a lot of phones and working in a harsh outdoor environment the phones get damages frequently no matter what case we try. It is nice having a good, reliable, and quick option to rely on to get our phones back up working. This was my first time going to the Mt. Pleasant location being that I typically use the West Ashely store but its location is great an convenient to where I live so I gave it a try. I had another great experience with a CPR repair store here in Charleston.

I had my s7 battery replaced here . after getting it back i had a terrible echo on the receivers end. I called to report the new issue and their responce was , we didn't cause that issue but bring it in and we will see if we can fix it. brought it I'm and they just deny the problem exist.

I would not recommend using this company. I had my screen replaced approximately 1 month ago. At the time I dropped it off, they told me it would take about 1-1.5 hours. I cameback two hours later and they had not started the repair. They proceeded to work on it immediately. Anyhow I noticed the screen was a little loose in one spot on the phone. This spot eventually cracked from the inside. They refused to replace the screen based on another blemish on the other side of the phone. It voided the warranty. Anyhow, the service and workmanship was poor on my phone. And they don’t stand by the quality of their work. I would not recommend them.

The most unhelpful people I’ve ever met. Brought my computer in thinking I may have a power cord or battery issue. They could not find their universal charger and wanted me to pay 60 dollars for a diagnosis. A power cord costs 20 bucks...do the math. Luckily was next to Walmart where the lady there was more helpful and now my computer is working wonderful due to a new power cord. Plugging in a computer for someone should cost someone 60 bucks...all about the money.

To respond: Yes this is my first review because this is the first place i've ever been genuinely upset with. I had to come in twice because the adhesive on my phone was not put on or done correctly. both times my screen started to fall back off.so now this third time my screen completely popped out of my phone and caused more damage. i tried to come in to talk to one of your employee's who actually discussed with me how it apparently wasn't covered under your warranty even though the damage wasn't even my fault. he offered to replace the screen but i didn't see the point in that because the rest of the damage would still be there. i can gladly give you my information since i guess there isn't any record of me coming in this morning at 11 AM? just not really understanding the point of having a warranty from you guys if it doesn't cover the damage the original "repair" was supposed to fix and now i have to pay a completely different charge to get it fixed the proper way that i thought i was paying for months ago, so you could understand hopefully why i'm not very happy with the service i was provided with. This is going to end up another $100 or so out of my own pocket for something i didn't even break. So it sucks that even though your employees messed up the adhesive now i have to pay for that mistake. Thanks for the original service i guess even though my phone still continued to have problems after i paid around $130 for the original repair. On the other hand, i would advise anyone who wants to come here (regardless of the stupid warranty) to see Daniel. He seems like an amazing employee and he was definitely the only one there i would trust with my phone again. Once again though i would not recommend you bring your electronics here unless you want to pay for more damage than what you started with. The fact that a store won't pay for their own damages to someone else's property honestly makes me furious.

Horrible! DO NOT GO TO THEM! I cracked my screen on Tuesday. I went to the store in West Ashley and they were out of screens. Asked me to come back the next day. Went back and they still didn't have screens. Called Thursday and was told they had the screens. Drove over to the store and was told that their internet was down and their calls were being answered in Mount Pleasant. Drove over to that store since the guy said he would hold the screen for me. Went back later that day and picked up my phone. At that point, I noticed the touch on my screen wasn't always picking up. Went BACK into the Mt. P store and they told me it was a "defective screen" and they were out of new ones. The then told me to go to the West Ashley location the next day. Went there and got my phone back and THE SCREEN DOESN'T WORK AT ALL NOW! I had to file a claim and pay $225.00 deductible to get a new phone. I am FURIOUS! They wrecked my phone and cost me more money! Tried to save money by not going to Apple and it ended up costing me more! GO TO APPLE!

I took my phone to CPR and they were great. I dropped off the phone and within an hour, I had a call telling me about the diagnostic options available. Even after the battery didn't solve the issue, Daniel called and gave me additional options will being very clear about cost, timeline, etc. It was so much easier than dealing with Verizon. On top of being transparent, each associate has been a delight to work with - friendly, obviously knowledgeable. Got the call today that my phone from Hades has re-crossed the River Styx and has re-joined the living. I can now let my iPhone 4 go back to retirement (woohoo 3G network) all because of their hard work! I highly recommend them if you need a repair done! :)

Truly outstanding service here! The charging port on my phone broke (the cable wouldn't stay connected), and I was able to get an immediate quote online for the fix, and it even let me schedule an appointment online. I also got a call from them the next day to see if I had any questions. I then asked probably a dozen questions, as I was concerned about the risks of a fix to my phone and/or data, and she patiently answered all of them. When I dropped off my phone, I pre-paid for a port replacement, and when I picked it up, they noted that it actually only needed a port cleaning, so they were able to do it for a lot less (and they credited the difference back to me). They could have easily said it was replaced and kept the full price, and I would not have known different, so I was extremely impressed with them and will have full trust in them for any future issues with my devices.

Verizon could not fix my phone and I went to CPR to change microphone and speakers. Associate over there told me that it would cost about $180, but he thinks it is software problem. He spend about half an hour updating my software, and phone came back to life. He refused to charge me anything. While I was there, 4 people walked in, ready for costly repair. Two associates very patiently helped them with software and did not charge anything again. I am very glad I found honest knowledgeable people, but guys, how do you make your living??

Not their fault per se. But quoted me $319 to fix a S9+ screen. Insurance was $99 for new (OK, maybe refurbished) phone. I'll take like new screen/battery life again and my $220 and forget this place existed. Call ur carrier first!! 2* only bc my roommate got his iPhone 8 or 9 screen replaced for $119 here.

I was extremely happy with my service. I was given an accurate estimate via phone. At the store I was greeted with a friendly smile, my questions were answered professionally even though my knowledge of Phones and computers is obviously lacking. My phone was repaired quickly and was given great advice on products they had on hand to ensure I did not need their services again for the same reason. (Dropped I Phone). I am going back to get the same items they sold me for my phone for my wife's I Phone. While out in the rain, my phone Went puddle jumping Ruining the charge port. . CPR was able to take my phone immediately and replace the part within 30 minutes. I thought this was pretty fantastic until I realized that the microphone was then out of commission. So, I returned to the store and it was discovered that the new port was bad. The gentleman was very helpful explaining the situation and offering to fix it on the spot even though he was the only one in the store. In between helping other customers, he was able to replace the port for a good one and send me on my way! I will certainly return to CPR if there is ever another problem with my electronic devices, and recommend them to everyone I know!!

I PAID 200$ TO HAVE MY PHONE BROKEN: ***Make sure to get your phone screen fixed through service provider, it’s cheaper, AND if they somehow break it further they'll replace it*** I’ve broken the screen on my iPhone several times & have never had a problem with any other company who’ve fixed it. However, at ‘CPR Cell Phone Repair’ I brought my phone in with nothing more than a cracked screen. Waited a whole day, came back the next to pick it up, the screen itself had been replaced, paid 200$ for the ‘repair’, and when I walk out of the store and back to my car. I notice I have no service, no LTE, no data, NOTHING! I went back in to inquire, and the obviously incompetent staff member assured me there was nothing wrong- and to go to Verizon to see if the problem was happening from their end. It was not. The problem was the obviously skill-less staff had messed with the wiring and had completely broken my phone from the inside, I was told there was no other reason why my phone would be acting like this. I had to go through a whole ordeal which lasted well over a month with Verizon, Apple, Asurion, etc. while CPR claimed ZERO responsibility while faintly admitting they most likely had messed up. I had to pay an extra 350$ to get a brand new phone, because they had actually broken the item beyond repair. These people absolutely suck, do yourself a favor and stay away. They have zero idea of what they are doing.

I called CPR Cell Phone Repair in Mt. Pleasant today after dropping my Samsung Galaxy S4 and was happily surprised by them giving me information that helped me, but not them. They said replacing my screen would be delayed for shipping since its an older phone and the cost would also be higher for the same reason. They'd be happy to do the work but told me I could upgrade to a newer phone for about the same cost and told me where I could buy it. Thank you CPR Cell Phone Repair!!

Took broken cell in to have data transferred. They did a great job. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I think it's a little pricey but I checked around and they're all the same price. I had also asked if they could set phone back to factory default and clear data from old phone and that was another $40. I think they could have done that for free as long as they were already in my phone and I already paid them $90 to transfer data. That little added customer service would've meant a lot to me. It wouldn't cost them anything other than 1 minute of their time. Otherwise I would've given them 5 stars.

Overall Not the greatest experience. FIRST THING I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!! who purchases a replacement screen thru CPR PURCHASE INSURANCE !!!!!!!! for there CHEAP china products i owed my Iphone 6s+ nearly 3Yrs & that its 3yrs of abuse & being dropped, finally the screen actually shattered.I purchase a replacement from West Ashley CPR and the phone was replaced VERYY quickly & efficiently. I WAS EXTREMELY PLEASED.& i was TOLD i had a Limited warranty...but then.i had the phone MAYBE 3-4days with the NEW REPLACEMENT SCREEN & my job requires me to drive vehicles all day long. I noticed my screen had a HUGE crack from bottom to the top. but the difference was cracked UNDERNEATH. Never dropped the phone sense the replacement & has been nurtured the entire short-span. I called CPR & to discuss what has happen, an i was told that it was MY FAULT & i was responsible for replacing the screen. I WAS furious & DISRESPECTED, I had to speak to a district manger to get my issue resolved, apon reading reviews this seems to be a very habitual problem with CPR's, with there poor quality replacements. Apon having my issue resolved i return to West Ashley, to get into a big debate with a Tech, who repeatedly told me it was my fault, the phone was cracked INSIDE my pocket, tho 3yrs of owning my phone I NEVER EVERRR had an issue with my phone inside my pocket EVER. Then i was told my phone was bent (which it wasnt) never the less, i get my phone repaired for the 2nd time. To ONLY FIND OUT 3 DAYS LATER!, i use my SELFIE CAMERA to find the lens was distorted, possibly from a (protection screen) wasnt removed while doing the replacement. So at this point i no longer want to deal with West Ashley, so i call Mt. Pleasant to explain my experiences & what my lens was doing, ONLY DO GET THE MOSTTTT DISRESPECTFUL EMPLOYEE I EVER spoke to in my LIFE, He constantly interrupted me, told me i was at fault, and then MID-DISCUSSION placed on hold.. at this point im beyond fed up with ALL OF CPR, i started to raise my voice and demanded to speak to the same (district manger) who resolved my issue, ONLY then was i treated some sort of respect with the opportunity to explain my situation & how i ONLY WAS REQUESTING my lens to be fixed, by removing the protecting coating INSIDE the phone. all & all, The entire staff of CPR are rude, obnoxious, & disrespectful, and im sure SOME customers try to take advantage of cell phone repair, but these folks treat the customer is ALWAYS WRONG, & Always at Fault. They go above and beyond. Highly recommend! I have had two recent experiences with Cell Phone Repair (CPR) of Mt Pleasant, SC. For the first experience I had dropped my phone and cracked the screen. I brought it to CPR and within an hour they replaced my screen, good as new. The 2nd visit was about 2 weeks later. Many of my calls could not be heard. I went to AT&T and they basicaly blew some air into my phone and then sent me off. I went back to CPR and they remembered me. Daniel, the Manager, was very welcoming and professional. He called on Michael, a Technician, to help me. Michael was extremely thorough and asked if he could diagnose my phone overnight. He gave me an I phone to use in the meantime and patiently reviewed the features with me. The next day there were still issues with my phone and Michael took great care to try and resolve the problem.. I felt perfectly comfortable and knew they were genuinely trying to remedy the problem. While they couldn't detect the exact cause of the problem they offer a warranty on all services. Based on that they offered to buy me a new phone (Not used - new). WOW! Michael rushed the new phone and patiently explained that he had backed up my data and that when the new phone came in he would transfer everything so I shouldn't worry. I was able to use their I Phone while waiting for my new phone..After a couple of days I got the call that my phone was in. Michael personally loaded all my backed up info and I now have a great new phone in perfect working order. I am extremely happy with this company. They go above and beyond and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Went yesterday to have cracked iPad screed repaired. Both guys are extremely professional actually even hung out in the store while they did the work and it was very nice and comfortable. They explained to me the process and and the lifetime warranty and I plan to have a couple other devices repaired in the near future. Definitely recommend if you need any device you have fixed

Please DO NOT allow this company to do any repairs to your phone. I took my phone to this location on a Saturday, my phone was fully operational with the exception of the screen being cracked. When I received my phone back the Touch ID function would only identify a partial print, but not my full thumb print to unlock my phone. I took my phone back on Monday and explained to the customer service desk that my touch print was not functioning properly so they said that they would take a look at it. I proceed to leave the office and returned to work when I arrived back I was helped by a young lady that didn’t even seem comfortable informing me that apparently my phone had water damage since the last visit and this caused my touch screen to some how be only partially functional. I asked to speak with someone else, they went to the back a proceed to continue to trouble shoot the issue and now the touch print is completely non-functional. My issue is if my phone was actually water damaged like they claimed then why did you proceed to continue to trouble shoot my phone again? I’m in the customer service industry and this company should apologize and take some type of ownership for the cost of the repairs, but they continued to blame me the customer for the issue. Apparently taking ownership for an error on their behalf would be to much to ask. What a joke, I wasted my time and money. Please save yourself from this piss poor customer service experience.

I went into the store at 6:30 when they close at 7. I asked if the tech had time to change my screen and he said yes! He was there by himself and had another customer walk in within the 30 minutes he had to work on my phone. He helped her with all her questions and didn’t rush her at all. He completed my screen change and replaced a damaged ribbon all in about 20 minutes after the paperwork and other customer. I don’t remember his name but he was awesome!

This was the second time I had been to a Charleston SC area CPR. Both experiences were great. The most recent time, I had an iphone and an ipad with cracked screens. Repair time was estimated at 45 minutes for iphone and 4 hours for ipad. I came back in an hour and was pleasantly surprised to have both jobs complete.

I brought in a tablet that would not power on. Much to my dismay, it housed many prized photos of my child that were not "backed up" as I thought they were. Apparently, this brand of tablet is notoriously difficult to work with, but Aaron took the challenge! He was able to make the repair despite the fact that the tablet actually burst into flames during the repair!!
