If I have had to take my machine to another place while out of town,I always end up going back and letting them fix it for me. I can't say anything but good things about thrm. My laptop crashed and needed to be wiped completely clean and then reloaded with all my programs and my data. Fortunately I had a subscription for an online backup software. I elected to choose Computer Upgraders to do the work on my laptop. What a great choice. They brought my machine back to life quickly and I took it home to begin the recovery of my files. I had never needed to recover any thing from online backup before, and was I surprised to find it more complex than I had expected. After struggling for several days without complete success, I received a phone call from the assistant manager of Computer Upgraders just checking on how things were going following their service on my laptop. a few days before. When I told him I was still struggling to wrap everything up, he told me not to hesitate to bring it back in and they would help me finish up at no charge. The next day, I took him up on his offer, and in just a few minutes, I walked out with everything back to normal. Needless to say, they are now my go to place for service. Very efficient and very friendly people. I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Had an issue with a tablet I got from there after just a few months. No big deal since I didn't pay that much for it. It was an extremely big deal to them and I ended up with a brand new replacement and only had to pay postage. The tablet warranty had run out but they got with the manufacturer and I was up and running. They did take a few days to do this but I was kept informed by the techs and the owner about everything going on. I don't think you will find anyone better to deal with.

After getting over priced by another store and not even having my problem resolved (they said my 2012 MacBook Pro was too old to fix and make faster), Computer Upgraders resolved my issue. Not only was the upgrade to my Mac reasonably priced, but also they gave me an even better deal to make up for what the other store charged me!!! That is great customer service guys. Before you continue searching for another computer repair store, stop. Computer Upgraders is probably one of the best experiences I have ever had, not just in a technology/computer store, but probably any store. They would get six stars if possible. The store is very clean and nicely set up, but that is to be expected of any decent store. The real winner is the outstanding customer service they give. I first visited them because an issue I was trying to resolve with my motherboard. I went in explained my issue, and they told me they would run some tests and get back with me soon. "Soon" is quite an understatement. They narrowed the problem down so quickly, I didn't even get the chance to ask how long the diagnostic and repair was going to take. I was so happy, I purchased another motherboard right there on the spot to replace my malfunctioning one. I also asked them several questions about upgrades I was planning on doing and what their opinions were on them. They answered every question, gave extremely helpful suggestions, were completely patient with me throughout the entire conversation. Since then, I have been back several times asking advice to which they are always extremely helpful. They are always very prompt on repairs and can answer any question you could possibly have (even from a picky computer builder such as myself). I would recommend Computer Upgraders to anyone and everyone. They are literally the best and most helpful business I have ever been to and set the bar extremely high for all aspects of a business.

Dropped off a brand new laptop on a wednesday for a software installation troubleshoot which i was assured would take 'a day tops'. Technician was 'out on service calls' for the two days following but would come in on the weekend specifically to work with my computer. Called to check on it and was told they couldn't solve the issue but that i couldn't pick it up until Monday. Lack of communication and abysmal service. Take your computer somewhere else unless you enjoy run around.

I took my boyfriends laptop, which we named "kracken", to computer upgraders. They knew exactly what was going on with it and repaired it within a 24 hr period. (It had a hard drive issue that needed to be replaced and needed a clean windows 10). I brought in my alienware 18 named Megatron after megatrons graphics cards both went out, he also got stuck in a boot loop. Not only did they get him out of his boot loop but they gave me the best price to fix him. They surveyed my son's desktop "Wheatley " that had previously had bad upgrades done to it at another shop, they cleaned him up and we are now on the way to getting the right parts to replace the bad ones. They have excellent customer service, they're open anytime you have questions or need help. They are very courteous and understanding. 3 computers in and they have me and my family's business. Couldn't be happier.

My business with computer upgraders started back in January of 2013 when my PC at the time went up in a literal puff of smoke. So after an hour or two of research I went up to the store and met Doug, the owner, and had them build me a new PC which worked perfectly. Since then I've moved down to Charleston and traveled back to them for a build for my mother, maintenance, replacing a video card and as of last week a full rebuild of my original PC I had them build. If I could give them 10 stars I would but I'm not sure that's even enough to describe the effort they put in and the customer service they provide.

I have done business multiple times with this company and have never been disappointed. I had a PC that a relative of mine accidentally infected with a virus and it was fixed in no time at all. I subsequently had two computers built by them from scratch with specific needs that I made them aware of and they customized it to operate exactly as I needed. In fact I'm utilizing a PC they built for me a few years ago that has yet to slow down or lag in the slightest. I do MMORPG gaming that requires a good video card and other demanding specs that keep up with even the latest graphics and demands from some of the games I play even with the age of the PC that they built for me. Most PCs after about 2 years are obsolete but they told me this one was built to stay ahead of the game for some time to come and its exactly as they promised. The price was extremely fair and really much cheaper for what i received than what it should've been. On to the next topic which is Drone repair...that's right they do Drone repair and again at a fair price with super quick turn around. The Drone I took to them, after scouring the state, was received late afternoon and returned within a day. I've taken the drone to them on two occasions both of which were satisfactory in price and turn around. If you need a drone repaired asked for Steven and he will hook you up.

I have had a gaming rig back when wow first came out and have upgraded it myself over the years since then, but I was having an issue with the machine turning off after running for a short time after the most recent upgrade. The greeting I got when I first came into the store was great they talked with me about all the possibilities that could be causing my issue. I left my computer with them and later that same day they called and told me that it was an issue with the cpu getting to hot and recommend a replacement cooler. I had them replace it since the cost was the same if I bought it myself, and let me tell you I have been on it non-stop aside from having to go to work (lol) and it has yet to turn off on me. I will now be taking the machine back to them to get my upgrades done. Thank you guys again for the hard work. Sorry about the name I am a gamer all the way (lol).

So I asked them to put on thermal paste, they "did a dynastic" and told me that I needed two new 16 sticks of ram that cost 70 bucks, (the computer honestly didn't need it), ended up taking way to long to get my computer back, maybe a more than a week. I wish that was the end of my concerns, but the issue continue, turns out they put my CPU fan upside down, my computer was continue to get extremely hot, they ended up taking it back, turns out they told me that all my fans we're spinning backwards. (no they we're not), In the end, I actually had to go out my way to ask friends for help, and actually fixed my computer myself! So I didn't need there help at all. Turns out all I needed was a new CPU cooler and thermal paste. I recommend talking with you're computer friends first before taking it to a computer shop (Computer Upgraders) I learnt my lesson of getting robbed 200 bucks.

Excellent service and expertise! Repaired balky power regulator on large Plasma TV and I had it had home for a few weeks and it shut off completely. They took it back in and found bad computer board, Replaced the board and now works great with a fantastic picture. Will recommend CU to all. Best in Town

I have done business multiple times with this company and have never been disappointed. I had a PC that a relative of mine accidentally infected with a virus and it was fixed in no time at all. I subsequently had two computers built by them from scratch with specific needs that I made them aware of and they customized it to operate exactly as I needed. In fact I'm utilizing a PC they built for me a few years ago that has yet to slow down or lag in the slightest. I do MMORPG gaming that requires a good video card and other demanding specs that keep up with even the latest graphics and demands from some of the games I play even with the age of the PC that they built for me. Most PCs after about 2 years are obsolete but they told me this one was built to stay ahead of the game for some time to come and its exactly as they promised. The price was extremely fair and really much cheaper for what i received than what it should've been. On to the next topic which is Drone repair...that's right they do Drone repair and again at a fair price with super quick turn around. The Drone I took to them, after scouring the state, was received late afternoon and returned within a day. I've taken the drone to them on two occasions both of which were satisfactory in price and turn around. If you need a drone repaired asked for Steven and he will hook you up.

I have had a gaming rig back when wow first came out and have upgraded it myself over the years since then, but I was having an issue with the machine turning off after running for a short time after the most recent upgrade. The greeting I got when I first came into the store was great they talked with me about all the possibilities that could be causing my issue. I left my computer with them and later that same day they called and told me that it was an issue with the cpu getting to hot and recommend a replacement cooler. I had them replace it since the cost was the same if I bought it myself, and let me tell you I have been on it non-stop aside from having to go to work (lol) and it has yet to turn off on me. I will now be taking the machine back to them to get my upgrades done. Thank you guys again for the hard work. Sorry about the name I am a gamer all the way (lol).
