I had accidentally spilled milk all over my MacBook Air and I needed all my data for school. A plus was able to bring back all my data the same day on an external hard drive. He may seem abrasive at first, but he does great Apple computer repair service for sure. I definitely recommend for fast service.

$250 dollars later not only is my keyboard not installed properly (backlight works in one spot) but my hard drive mysteriously crashed after this "repair". I replaced the hard drive myself and my computer is fine now...aside from my keyboard (the repair I paid for) not functioning properly... Also a PARTIAL refund was denied when requested. This is one guy who works in cash or checks written to him personally... shady. Also, he makes you write a review on Google while he is sitting next to you...

these guys are awesome. i called Aplus computer repair up and i had a broken DVD drive. the drive was just hanging out of the chasis. i accidentally crushed it and broke the drive off the tray. so i called aplus up and they were able to find a very rare replacement drive for this brand new computer. they not only fixed the drive but also was able to reinstall windows 10 back on to my computer, install all the updates and basically make it turn key ready. now i can use my computer to do all my christmas shopping! yAY. i had an older desktop and it would not come on. all i could see is a black screen! i called APlus and they were able to work around my schedule. they picked it up and had it back to me in 2 days. they were able to restore the operating system and get it to work like new. they were also able to figure out my network issues and show me how to use my cell phone and export the pics and videos off my galaxy s6 onto my desktop. these guys are awesome! they are definitely the best computer repair store in wilmington! definitely use them and tell them that jimmy sent ya.

spilled a monster drink on my laptop and the screen was a damaged. plus also found serious water damage internally and other things as well. in about a week they were able to repair the logic board and clean up all of the water damage that was inside the MacBook air. now the MacBook air works perfectly where the wifi, display and trackpad and keyboard work. the keys are still a little sticky but they work. i will probably just have to clean them with a cloth. will use again...thanks so much!

i was having issues with connecting my outlook to my new email company server. Aplus was able to come by my second beach home and make it happen. i can now use outlook to check my emails and check emails on my phone as well. i was having some Facebook issues and now they are all gone! my MacBook Pro would not turn on today. I called up Aplus and they were able to come by and pick up my computer. they were able to put my logic board in an ultrasonic cleaner, replace my hdd data cable, and reinstall a new hard drive and reinstall the latest OS. on top of all of that they were able to bring back the laptop to me at 9pm the same day! im from Montana and i didn't know who to call. i called up aplus computer repair after several attempts with other companies. i was told i needed to buy a new computer.i called APlus up and i was really not sure about them. but i told them that my computer would not work as the keyboard did not work at all. they had for a day and backed up my data and met me and returned the laptop and now it works perfecly like brand new(so far!). P.S. as a saftely precaution i photoed car license plate,contract and license because i was not able to easily find them and i dont really trust alot of people but this so far has been a very uplifting experience!

Most of the posts say "They". There is no "they"; it is one millennial kid by himself without a real workplace. After being promised to fix my laptop in 3-5 days and like new- THREE weeks later I'm out $150 and stuck with a still broken laptop. Geek Squad at Best Buy took 10 minutes to analyze what was wrong. Read through some of the other posts, looks like he had friends and family write in to make himself look good. Waste your money and time if you want, OR go to a true business that knows the business and has business ethics.

these guys are amazing! i was having problems getting my laptop online. i went out and bought a router and that didn't do anything. one of my main objectives was getting netflix on my big screen tv. so aplus drove all the way down to whiteville which is where i live and hooked up an apple tv box to my big screen and got my router working, then they overhauled my laptop and got it back online! it was very time consuming but in the end they got everything done that i needed! this guy is wonderful. he was able to come by my house and get my old XP computer to print but then i decided because my computer was so old that we needed to upgrade the computer. i am in realestate and i use this very old program called top producer 6i. its a great program! unfortunately it only works with windows XP. it wont work with windows 7,8, or 10. aplus was able to backup my database and get EVERYTHING working with my new computer. if you need a computer wizard look no further! Wiping my hard drive clean was not what I wanted. I was left with a shell of a computer that will never be what it once was. The whole experience from front to back was unacceptable. He wouldn't give a receipt for the initial deposit of $65. After I got the computer back it crashed again within two hours and he wanted to charge me again to fix it. I have never seen such a mess of installed programs on my computer that I didnt want. There is much more to this story, but let me simply say you are playing with fire I could talk for hours on these people. But who would believe? Its stunning that idiots out there in the world actually believe that they have 144 5 star reviews. They must be gods. Or MAYBE NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FIGURE IT OUT PEOPLE BEFORE THEY BURN YOU! This is a top notch, local company that provides great service. First post: My computer was broken into. They used the cerber ransomware attack and about 90% of my data was encrypted. the only way to get the data back is to pay these guys in bitcoins through a encrypted web browser named tor. A Plus was able to come over the same day and have my computer restored repaired the next day. they were able to salvage my small business files and pictures of my son! he was professional, prompt and obviously knew what he was doing. will use again in the future!

First off, let me start by saying that I am not a bot or planted reviewer. I am a regular in Wilmington, with both professional and social reputations to protect, and this review is based on my personal (n=1) experience with A Plus. Like many of you, I read the reviews and had a bit of a struggle deciding if I would let some stranger without a store front or place to chase him down (if I needed to) come and take $100 along with my hard drive that could potentially open me up to identify theft, etc. without promised results. (My specific issue was data retrieval from a broken hard drive.) However, after two good friends (one former retail store help desk employee, and one notable local institution IT manager) both failed to recover my data, I figured I would give A Plus a try. After less than 24 hours from picking my hard drive up from my house, A Plus was dropping me off a thumb drive with the files that I requested be retrieved. As with any of these reviews, everyone has a story, an expectation, and a price in mind. For my needs, A Plus did exactly what was asked. Now if in the next week or so, they go shopping with all of my account info that they were able to extract from my hard drive, I will come back and change my rating :)

After being promised to fix my laptop in 3-5 days and like new- THREE weeks later I'm out $150 and stuck with a still broken laptop. Geek Squad at Best Buy took 10 minutes to analyze what was wrong. Read through some of the other posts, looks like he had friends and family write in to make himself look good. these guys are amazing! i was having problems getting my laptop online. i went out and bought a router and that didn't do anything. one of my main objectives was getting netflix on my big screen tv. so aplus drove all the way down to whiteville which is where i live and hooked up an apple tv box to my big screen and got my router working, then they overhauled my laptop and got it back online! it was very time consuming but in the end they got everything done that i needed!
