I had the glass repaired on my I-phone 6 and while the staff was friendly and the repair took less than an hour the new screen messed up my phone. The screen no longer shut off when you were talking on it which caused the battery to die much faster. I don't know if the new screen was too high and blocked the sensor or what but, it was working perfectly fine prior to getting the screen replaced. If you don't care that your phone may break this place is great. Otherwise, spend the extra money and take your phone to apple that way if anything goes wrong they will replace it !

I saw their ad on Craiglist the other day as I was searching for iPad screen repair and they came right up. I dropped off my iPad 2 and an hour later got a call from Phill saying it was done. When I picked it up, it looked like new again. That was $90 well spent. I highly recommend this guy for screen replacement.

I've had multiple phones repaired her always great and fast service. Not only that but honesty too, brought my GF's iphone in to fix the charge port, told them it had gotten wet and we had it in a bag of rice over night. Phone worked fine but while after charging it she knocked it over and broke the port. Any other place would have charged up a big bill to fix it. But they didn't and it only took about 25mins. Aslong as this place is here i will always be a loyal customer. A++

Broke the screen on my phone that I needed for work and started immediately calling around the providence/north providence area for help resolving that asap as there was app data I needed retrieved. Pearl Cellular must have been my fifth call as well as my first sigh of relief that I finally found a place with someone competent enough with the technology but also the social skills to work together to figure out the fastest/most efficient solution to my problem. TLDR: Called, spoke with Phil(wonderful person), came up with a plan of overnighting a screen, had working phone the next day, no hassle. 10/10. edit: phone was a fairly old (moto z play) which pretty much no one in a hundred+ mile radius carried the screen, otherwise Phil would have had that bad boy up and running before the day's end. Thanks Phil! :)

This guy is great all around. Called before they even opened and he helped me from the start. Told me he could fix my screen and made sure he had them in stock IPhone XR. Drove to the shop and he created us and was kind and friendly. He took a look at my XR and told me 45 mins and he will be done with it I was super excited. Then I continued to ask him questions he explained to me about glass vs fabric screen saver and even put it on for me after he fixed my screen. I couldn’t be more happy with his work and the way he presents himself and his work. Everyone quoted me 250 he fixed my IPhone XR and put a screen saver on and with tax and a tip for 196.00. Highly recommend this place I will be back with my iPad that doesn’t wanna charge

I brought in my Galaxy 4 S to have the digitizer repaired at Pearl Cellular. Service was very speedy. (under an hour while I waited) I paid $200 and the screen looked like new and the phone worked perfect. The problem arose four days later when the screen had ink dots all over making the phone inoperable. I went back to Pearl Cellular and was told nothing can be done when he (the owner) had told me the repair had 30 days warranty. I did not drop the phone in any manner to cause that screen to look that way. I left the store and contacted Samsung and was told that it is caused by after market digitizers (AKA) fake cheap knockoffs. I could have bought one online if I wanted to go the cheap way and done it myself. I went there because I wanted an original screen. I would not recommend this business to anyone. A business should stand behind their workmanship and product. HIGHLY HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!

I cracked the screen on my cellphone, so I called Pearl Cellular and one other place for a quote to replace it. Pearl Cellular was significantly less money. I went to talk to the owner, Phill, and was impressed with his knowledge and straight forwardness. He gave a solid price, date for repair, and time for the repair to made. I dropped off my phone a few days later and everything went exactly as he had promised. The phone is "new" again! I recommend Pearl Cellular to anyone needing repairs or to purchase a good used electronic device.

This repair shop is awesome! I had to get my iPhone repaired due to a cracked screen. I looked around and found many places charging $130 like TECH 911. Pearl Cellular only charged me $79.99. They did a great job and took less then 20 minutes. The staff is very nice and professional! I would definitely recommend this repair shop to others!

Had my ipad glass repaired there. It was always a little soft feeling after they repaired it. One day it stopped working, less than 2 months after I brought it to them. The iPad went completely blank and just was dead. They said there was no warranty and NOTHING they did could have caused this issue. Had it repaired somewhere else, while I was watching. THEY FORGOT TO PUT ANY OF THE SCREWS BACK INTO THE IPAD. All of the connectors came loose because they weren't screwed in at all. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Having the repair of the non-apple glass for my iphone 6 led my phone to completely die and stop working. They know that this can happen, and fail to inform you. Also, Apple repairs them for $110 while pearl cellular repairs for $130. Very unhappy the glass repair is causing me to buy a new iPhone completely.

My Nexus 7 was having a problem not charging thanks to a faulty micro USB port. The folks here were very helpful, and were able to get it sorted perfectly. It did take over a week to get back, but they kept me updated every step of the way, and the price they gave me was very reasonable, and was exactly what they estimated. No "Oh this might be the price, but we won't know till it's done." Very upfront and professional. When I got it back, it charged perfectly. If I have any problems in the future with my tablet, these guys'll be me first stop to fix it.
