Entered the store shortly after 7 and was never approached by an associate for service. I had forgotten you need to see an appointment specialist as soon as you walk in if you expect service. Was privy to a conversation an associate was having with a gentleman and his wife. The female associate was also training another associate. Basically she was not addressing the gentleman’s concerns and was trying to close the sale way before overcoming his concerns, letting the customer know she had other people she could assist whom were ready to buy a phone. I was appalled by her manor. That person and his wife left in disgust. The associate then had me in her headlights. I basically stated I was having the same problems the gentleman whom just left was having and I was not sure what phone I was interested in, since after what I witnessed told me I wanted nothing to do with her tactics. She decided to move on with her trainee to the next target. I was then informed by one of the appointment setters that there were no more phones available in the store and if I would like a phone to order on online. Really!!!!! I insisted on seeing the manager and refused to leave until one was found I stood by while no attempts to locate a manager were made, and while iPhones were being sold all around me, so I just randomly started asking associates whom the manger was until Jason answered in the affirmative. As hard as Jason tried he could not appropriately excuse the behavior I witnessed. I have purchased multiple apple products from this store. Never again and deeply disappointed

Well I took my niece to this apple store to have her phone checked. My 9yr asked to use the bathroom and they told her to go down to the restaurant 2 doors away. As if they don't use any. While we were waiting in their store for their products!!!! Shame on them

I had an appointment at this store for 1pm on a Tuesday. Iarrived at 12;30 and registered. I sat until 1:40 when I finaly was assisted. I showed my phone with a cracked screen. The Apple associate told me it would be 1 hour, cost 160.00 and to meet him back at a specific table. 1 hour put it at 2:13. I arrived back at the table I was instructed to wait at, the time was 2pm. I waited until 2:30 and asked one of the associates what was going on, he told me that he forgot to tell me to ask a specific person. I asked the young lady for my phone that was having a new screen put in. I waited another 30 minutes, only to be handed my phone UNREPAIRED and told that they could not fix my phone because it was BOWED. What a waste of my time when I should have been told from the Beginning. My time is worth money, I spent an hour driving to this store, spent 4 hours waiting and another hour to drive home. I make 50 dollars an hour, that works out to be 250 dollars. If I could rate it a zero stars I would have,

Went to replace broken front camera lens, and they said they had to replace the whole phone for $319, they can't just replace the broken cover!! Went into a phone store in the mall and fixed the phone for $40 bucks, stay away either they want to rip you off, or they are too stupid to fix their own products!!!

Always mobbed, if you want any kind of decent service here hopefully you find an open reservation months in advance. If you muster the courage to walk in and expect some form of available customer service, your best efforts will be met with large crowds of consumers and broken dreams.

Complete waste of time and terrible customer service. When I made a reservation at the genius bar specifically for a battery replacement, as a company they should have clarified on their website that the battery was not actual available in the store and would take about a month or more to replace. They did not clarify that when I called and no where in the email confirmation did it say that. I would not have gone an hour out of my way if i would have known that. I also know that my phone was perfectly fine and the issue was with the battery alone, yet they did everything in their power to tell me it was not a battery problem at all, it was just that my phone was "fried". They gave me no explanation as to why my phone was completely done, all they did was try to sell me a new one. I understand that it is their job to sell you the latest and greatest phone, but as a customer you deserve a better explanation as to why your perfectly functioning phone is now "fried" and you deserve better service. I have always loved my iPhone and i have had Apple products for years but I will be going elsewhere from now on.

Meh. You can come in with $3k ready to but a laptop and have to hunt down an employee to get one. Place is overcrowded and beware you have to make an appointment for every single concern. Hasn't really improved. Also I'll never forget a few years ago my iPhone had some issues and was under warranty and the worker literally told me I was smart and should just fix it myself (and so I taught myself phone repair and took apart the whole thing then) but yeah they need a better system to deal with the crowds

Why take appointments if they’re not honored? I’m standing here 20 min. past my appointment time. If they were busy, that’s one thing. But there is a group of 7 associates standing around talking and laughing.. while myself and other customers are looking around frustrated. I’ve regretted switching to Apple products for a while. They seem completely unreliable. This just sealed the deal for me.

I went to get my camera and battery replaced for $88. They ended up replacing my phone for the $88. When I walked in I didn’t even have time to finish a text message and they got me help and took my phone to attempt the repair. In two hours, they’d finished the repair (albeit unsuccessful) and supplied me a new phone of the same model and color and helped me setup and restore from iCloud. Always remember to back up before you go to the store. Overall a really good experience.

Horrible horrible horrible customer service you are bothering them you had to wait forever they didn't fix the problem I have nothing but bad things to say about them I will never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever go back and really don't think I will ever buy another iPhone again my kids like there's but they don't stand behind their products..and when something goes wrong they try to talk you into getting something new instead of fixing what they should have fixed because their product malfunctioned

Disappointing experience. The Apple genius (LOL) on the phone gave me the wrong information. So I drove 3 hours round trip to trade in my old Mac Book Air for a new one only to find out I cannot do this in the store, only online for trade in. The Genius on the phone told me I could come to the store to do this, but nobody at Apple seems to care that I wasted 3 hours driving back and forth for nothing. I went to Best Buy, traded it in there, and got a new Mac Book Air for less than I would have paid at Apple. Still haven't heard a word back from Apple for the mishap. Too bad we have so many Apple products in our house hold, and they don't even care.

Chris helped me today and his service was fantastic. Prior to arriving, I backed up my phone and did the usual phone checks to do a process of elimination before doing a walk in appointment. I only waited 50 min as I didn't have a scheduled appointment. After verifying the issue and trouble shooting my iPhone, Chris determined I needed a replacement phone. Stellar customer service!!!! They find any excuse not to change the battery for the low price that is still available until the end of the year. From all the people that I've known trying to change the battery for $29 for iphone 6, well non of them were able to change it. They told to one friend that the phone MAYBE was dropped in the water, to a co worker that his phone is bend, to another one, looks like his phone was opened before, another one that it is something wrong with her phone...slim chances to get a battery.

This store sucks. The manager I spoke to was unaccommodating. All I need is a battery. They want me to wait around one hour to see a technician. They won’t let me leave my phone for repair. I live out of state and need to get back to hospital. Unreal. I hate Apple. There is no one here in the store they couldn’t help me out. I asked to purchase battery and put in myself. He said no.

We bought a pair of air pods within a few weeks one air pod was not working.. We were 1st told that it be was because it was a build-up of dirt so they did a cleaning the very next day they stopped working again so we went back they were so busy we had to make an appointment for 2 days later again they tried saying that they were dirty and they are not dirty there well taking care of... They offered to send him back and we would get a call in a few days again I wanted something more instant .. After our representative spoke with the manager we just end up getting a brand new pair and even exchange so overall we were happy but it was just an inconvenience to have something not work and take a few days to get in for an appointment.. Parking is A nightmare at the mall but that did not effect my rating.

Once again my Iphone 6 messed up my contacts. This is the second time. It is a simple fix in the settings which I finally figured out on my own. Apple care doesn't know how to fix it. And "manager" Jason at the Lehigh Valley Location was not knowledgeable. I mention to everyone I spoke with that personal messages to my husband were being sent to an unknown person. They did not care. I miss the days when Apple gave actual customer service. I am able to upgrade my phone. I am done with Apple. Frankly I don't need the hassle of dealing with poor customer services and a product that is lacking in quality. LAST time for me<

This place SUCKS! Wait time is forever. Had an issue w/my Apple product and they diagnosed it wrong. After a while the told me it needed a $400 part. After they replaced it- product still didn’t work. They sent it to the depot and fixed it for free. Don’t try calling the store- you will NEVER get someone on the phone. Also- PARKING SUCKS at this location. You will NOT find a spot near the store. So BE PREPARED TO WALK!!!!!

I had to travel an hour away from my house just to go here to get my daughter's phone working again. When I arrived they stated there would be over an hour wait even though I was there when they opened the doors at 10 a.m. we had to drive home and come back again later that afternoon just for them to tell us my daughter's iPhone simply shut down during an update. I am not a fan of Apple and I never will be. I have an Android phone and have been to this store previously and have to wonder why it is always so crowded with people having problems with their iPhones. I personally would never own an iPhone even if it was free

Had an appointment, walked in and was helped in seconds by Robert, who helped me get in for what I needed even before my scheduled slot. But it was Johnny who really took the customer service to a level that left me feeling just so... happy. He genuinely talked to us like we were humans and less like we were just customers that needed attention. Customer service is great, and Apple excels at it, but human service is top notch. Thanks Johnny, for making a trip to the crowded Apple store for a repair on a Saturday afternoon, an enjoyable experience.

Horrible customer service. These guys will blame anything they can to get out of exchanging defective products. Manager is a joke and refused to give me his name. I have an ipad that sometimes loses charge even while plugged in and shuts down randomly. They refused to replace even after shutting down at the store blame apps and environmental issues. Told them im not happy with them or their product bluntly told me go buy samsung And i should buy off them not best buy and maybe they wouldve helped me. 1 1/2 hour drive in heavy traffic and all they did was reset to factory settings and tell me get lost. No one likes going to the apple store. The lines, crowdedness, seemingly parentless children running around, and your repairs costing more than the phone is actually worth. I’m not sure if it’s this location or the tech I had, Beth, but this was probably the best experience I’ve had with apple. She didn’t try to get me to buy the newest iOS or the hottest widget, doodad, and thingamabob. It was nice when she walked me through how to fix my phone. If only everything could be that easy.

Latest update has caused a number of anomalies on my iPhone. Options that were disabled, including backing up to iCloud, were mysteriously enabled. I have ALWAYS disabled iCloud usage & backup - my data is MINE and is only backed up on my personal equipment! All of a sudden my phone decides to transmit my data to the cloud in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. The ‘genius’ bar at this Apple store did a great impersonation of Abbot & Costello-”duh, it must be because you logged out and into your Apple account.” The next day, I realize that I am not showing the red notification dot on the ‘Mail’ icon of the home screen, but I have unread messages. I figure I better go back to the Apple store, in case this is just the beginning of a domino effect. I explain and demonstrate the issue with another genius (LMAO). He tells me I need to enable push on my phone for the notification feature to work. I tell him PUSH has ALWAYS been disabled on my iPhones (every phone since the first iPhone) and it has always showed the notification dot when there is unread messages. He shrugged his shoulders and tells me that he knows he’s right. He tells me to call 800 my Apple for further help if I don’t get it working. I say “ok” and leave the store. Once I make it outside the door where my car is parked directly in front, I look back through the window and the genius is laughing with another genius and pointing at me. It turns out the notification option in the Mail settings was disabled-enabling it resolved the issue. Now, I never changed the settings myself, they were a result of the update...but for the genius to tell me I had to enable PUSH for the notification icon to show I had unread emails in my mailboxes is ludicrous. Don’t waste your time looking for knowledgeable support at this store. It is obvious they aren’t experienced with the devices they are paid to support, let alone trained on them. Maybe they should attend some of the free classes at another Apple store to learn about the operating system that is on every iphone!

In the past the service in this store was very good, and yet my recent visit was surprisingly terrible. I ordered my new iphone online, paid for it, and chose to pick up in store. I arrived 5 min earlier than my scheduled pick up time and checked in, then I was left on the table for 40+ minutes! I asked the staff if anyone could bring my phone and they chose to ignore me when I say I have already paid online. After I asked the staffs for over 5 times for my phone, they finally hand me the phone and immediately turn away from me, the whole process took 2 minutes at most. I am not sure if they treat me like that because I am a minority or because I pay online, but I am very sure that this is the WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER.

If you have an Apple device that no one else can answer questions or you and Google/You Tube could not figure-out: get here and get ready to wait (usually). Every tine I went, I got the clarity and fix I needed, headache free and I did not have to pay. Their store has some Apple products that you cannot find elsewhere and you can test them and ask your questions.

I arrived by my appointment time. Was checked in immediately, had a tech come help me out no more than 10 minutes later and than was explained that I was going to be seen in another few minutes. So I didn’t go unnoticed or forgotten by the staff. The tech helped me as best as he could, he ran a audio test and explained that it would take up to 2 hours of repair time ‘till I could pick it up. (Which was way better than having to hear; it needs to be sent out) I came back at the pick up time, went right to the bar with my ticket...I was greeted for help the moment I sat down and had my phone handed to me for free in a matter of 20 seconds. He explained what they did, how they replaced my display and how since I was in warranty, the $280 bill cost me $0! Now that’s APPLE care for ya! Guy who helped had light eyes and a MARINE ring on, thanks for the help and service. :)

I went to replace my battery for my iPhone 6s here. I didn’t have an appointment so we had to schedule one for about 2.5 hours later even though I saw many different employees talking to each other and not really focusing on any of the customers. It ended up being more like 3 hours at least, even though there weren’t that many people inside. Eventually when I came back, they ran a “diagnostics test” on my phone and took my phone out of my case to inspect it. I knew everything on my phone was working fine, just the battery needed to be replaced. He saw a small crack (5mm long) in the speaker part of my iPhone and said that he has to take it to the back to make sure it would be okay to change the battery. He came back about 5 minutes later saying that it would most likely be fine to change the battery, but claimed that since the antenna was “damaged,” that my phone, even with a battery replacement wouldn’t work for more than 3 months and that I should instead buy a new phone. He then hands back my phone and points out that it’s reading No SIM because my antenna is “damaged”, pointing to where the crack in the speaker is on my phone, nowhere near where the antenna is located. I have never had the issue of No SIM with my phone so this immediately made me suspicious. I had problems that week where my data would come back then No SIM then my data again and it repeated for about a week until I decided to try to see if anything was wrong with my SIM card. Immediately, when I opened the SIM card slot, I noticed that the SIM card was completely rearranged and out of place. I blew on it and put it back in properly and I haven’t had a problem since. I believe they were trying to scam me by trying to persuade me not to get the cheaper battery replacement and instead buy a brand new $1,000 phone when mine works just fine until they messed with it. They seem to really focus on money here and not the customers.

2 hour drive, had an appointment (was seen about 30 mins past) then a wait time of another 90 minutes... after coming back to what I thought was going to be a fixed phone I was told it would be a $400 fix, even though I had a warranty... let me tell you, the technician went out of his way to explain and ultimately get my phone fixed with the warranty. Everyone I encountered in there was extremely helpful. If I knew this mans name I would make sure he got the recognition he deserved.! Thank you for not making my 6 hour trip pointless. I have been here twice and both times I've been 6 star satisfied. I've been using Apple products for almost 20 years and the service at this store has assured my confidence in Apple for the future. I had a two hour wait for an incredibly low priced priced repair. So I wandered out the door found a Barnes & Noble !!!! I had a veggie pizza at the cafe. The Lehigh Valley Mall is absolutely stunning, who knew? All the stores are open and the atmosphere and cleanliness was another six stars. When I returned to all the smiling faces at the Apple Store my repair was finished and I walked out the door with a big smile. I have had a few issues with this place. Not only is this location about 2 hours away from me, but I brought in a phone to be fixed for the battery. They had be wait a few hours, and wanted me to come back to pick it up. So my partner and I walked around the mall. We got a call to pick it back up. We got the iPhone, and headed back home. I was by the Pocono exit, when my partner realized that the 3D touch wasn't working. My partner called Apple support and told them about the issue, and that we drove 2 hours away to avoid sending the phone out to California to be fixed and being without a phone for a few days. We didn't have a pleasant experience here this time, and the rep from Apple said that we would have to go back, and she scheduled an appointment for us. We got there for the appointment, stood there like idiots waiting for someone to check us in. An employee came over, we let them know our situation, and they said they were signing us in, and it would be about 10 minutes since we had an appointment made. We waited 20 minutes, no help. So we asked someone what the hell was the issue and why we hadn't been helped. Apparently the numb nut who supposedly checked us in, never did. So then we got helped by a rep immediately. Long story short, we got the issue fixed, left and had to call Apple again, because of the not so great service we received, but something else wouldn't work on the phone. They fixed the screen and busted a button on the side of the iPhone. After that, we gave up. Sold our iPhones, and never looked back at this place. Weather you have an appointment scheduled with these idiots, you will wait just as long as someone who just walked in. This place is a mad house, the reps aren't very nice, and they are extremely careless. I have hate with a passion for this place. We still have iPhones to this day, but we refuse to go back here.

Our wait time for them to look at my phone was over 45 minutes. That's a long time to tell me I need to replace the phone. There were so many people there. I find it hard to believe that all those people were waiting to speak to someone regarding a new phone. And how many were there for phone repairs? There should be 2 waiting lines one for new phones (since that takes a lot longer) and one for repairs. It makes me wonder how well made are the Apple phone to begin with?

I went to the apple store on the iPhone X S release day to trade in my 8 plus to get the X max in gold. I arrived around 10:30 had to do a check in reservation for what ever is available. First off a lot of the gold phones were sold out. So I was gonna settle for the silver unlocked 64G. I got my text message to confirm the reservation and waited 2 plus hours already. I had to be somewhere in New Jersey so I left and asked if I can come back. I called the apple support and asked what local malls in New Jersey had the gold. Luckily willowbrook mall in wayne NJ had the phones available so I went in the mall. It was crazy packed went to the apple store did another reservation and literally waited 4 minutes tops!! I asked prior if they knew the wait time which Lehigh valley apple store couldn’t even tell me that! I met a wonderful apple employee who was very kind and friendly getting everything setup. Mind you I still never got the second text message from Lehigh valley that my reservation was ready! Willowbrook had double the compacity than Lehigh valley did and I still managed to get my phone.

If I could give 0 stars for Customer Service .... I would. I have been bounced back and forth from the Lehigh Valley, PA Apple Store to Apple Care, repeatedly, with regard to the replacement battery for my iPhone 6Plus. I called the store over a month ago and they told me to call their Apple Care Service. I was told a new battery would be delivered to the Lehigh Valley Apple Store for installation within 5-7 days. I was told the store would then contact me to bring my phone in for service. I have received no updates on the progress of the order and I am still being bounced from 1 party to the other when I call for updates and, in addition, I am now being told it will be up to another month until my battery will arrive due to such a high volume of requests for the iPhone 6Plus. What a shame that a company as large and forward thinking as Apple would not place a high priority on the service of their products. I recently read an article regarding the new, extravagant, multibillion-dollar campus headquarters in Cupertino, California. It would have been far more customer focused, to utilize some of that money to expand production of the batteries for the 6Plus to meet the demand brought on by the Apple Corporation, themselves. Perhaps you could have sacrificed a few hand carved marble banisters?? I will continue to buy Apple products because they are the best. However .... I sincerely hope that Apple is not resting on the popularity of their products to hold their loyal customers hostage for service because of brand loyalty. Not a good way to do business, Apple. I was very surprised by your lack of attention.

The Apple customer service I received in general was very, very poor. I tried to call the store to see what I could do about my device not working-I had to enter a serial number to continue but I couldn't do that because I can't turn my device on and I no longer have the original box. So I drove up there and they told me it was a 2.5hr wait. I asked to leave the device there and pick it up later after they checked it out, but they can't do that for some reason(they didn't know why). Next scheduled appointment was a week later. So I set up the appt and came back a week later and I wasn't on their schedule!?! I was told it will be another hour before we can get to you!! And this was the kicker....they said we don't actually fix those devices we just give you a replacement! How long does it take to give me a a replacement? What a complete waste of time(including driving 30 minutes each way twice). Completely unacceptable.

Honestly the worst store I’ve ever been to in my life.. had an appointment for almost a week to get a new battery in my phone just to find that they have none in stock when I get there?? Not only did I waste 30 minutes of my life sitting in the most chaotic and disorganized setting in my life but the worker helping me was also very unhelpful and rude.. it’s a shame that I like apple products so much because this store and everyone that works in it puts a horrible name on the company!!! I would have rated it a 0 stars if that was possible. Everything from the automated system to the sales staff has failed me at this location. While I understand that they are typically very busy and the staff is doing their best, it doesn't change the fact that if you want to get in and out fast, like I just need to buy a phone, well how about you wait for an hour to "speak with someone" that doesn't understand that I have already made my buying decision and I don't need you to try and upsell me, nor do I want your to correct me to use your lingo. All in all I have used apple for over 20 years and Visiting this store made me want to switch my entire office to PC.

My MacBook’s track pad went haywire so naturally I went to my local Apple Store to go fix it immediately. I go there and they tell me I have to make an appointment and that it’ll be a 2.5 hour wait till they send me a text to come in 15 minutes back to the store. Which ended up being more like 3 hours which is my first gripe. My next gripe is that the wait was entirely pointless just to give over my laptop anyways and my final gripe which pisses me off more than anything is, as of this review it’s Wednesday, and I have to wait 3-5 business days, which means it won’t get it back till Monday, to fix a part that takes less than half an hour to fix! Incredibly asinine, no reason any of those 40 employees they have standing around can’t make themselves useful and go fix my laptop.

Amazing customer service, I had bought a 2016 MacBook Pro which had had bluetooth issues since a couple months after I bought it, but had been out of the country for a year and had been unable to get it serviced abroad. When I got back and took the laptop to them to see if there was anything that could be done, they offered to do a software reset to see if that would solve it. So I left the laptop with them and got a call a day later saying that they found out it was a hardware issue and that they would need to ship it out for a hardware replacement of the Bluetooth receiver. Since I had been out of the country and unable to bring it in sooner, they offered to cover the cost of the repair which was unexpected and amazing. One week later, I get a call that my laptop is ready for pickup...I pick it up only to find out that not only was the Bluetooth receiver replaced, but the entire logic board: SSD, processor, RAM, GPU, etc... all of it...for free. It seemed excessive, but I'm not complaining. My out of warranty, year and a half old laptop is running as fast as it did when I first got it. Oh, and Bluetooth works too.

Honestly the worst Apple store ever. Dropped off my daughters iPhone 6 on Monday morning to replace the battery (15 minutes job) after waiting for 1.5 hours to be helped. Called and was told it was done on Monday night but couldn’t make it in so came by on Tuesday evening - only to find out they actually didn’t do the job yet and we would need to wait in the store another 15 minutes for a “super-high priority rush job”.

Just got a lecture about being a walk in from a miserable man named Steve. The genius would not give me "an expectation if a time, because I was a walk in. Eventually I had to cut my losses and take my defective iPhone home. This Apple's idea of standing behind their products. I was an Apple disciple decades before it was cool. I'm giving it 1 * because you can't do 0. I brought my new MacBook Air after it wouldn't work when accidentally did MaciOs update. That was 5 weeks ago. Finally got it back today after they made me go to the store, not once, not twice, but 3 times (and I'm 50 minutes away), saying it was ready to be picked up (via calls and emails from them). Once I was there, and attempted to log in, the problem was still going on. All I got was an apology (the time before. Today I got attitude). They were able to solve the problem by restoring it to manufacturers default setting, which I had told them 5 weeks prior they could and should do.

Very poor workmanship and no way to escalate to a store leader. I plan to try one of the independent authorized service centers in the Lehigh Valley - one is on Nazareth Pike and the other in Hellertown - for my next battery change. My wife's phone was taken in to get the camera fixed. When we got it back the touch id had stopped working. Since we had disabled touch-id when we turned it in for repairs we did not figure this out until we were in the car. The Tech showed us some reports with green check marks that he claimed showed it was working before and after the service. The check was done before they put the unit back together as the work bench. He wanted $100s to fix the touch screen. The store leader did not respond to multiple efforts to reach her by phone. I would try one of the independent authorized service centers in the Lehigh Valley. One is on Nazareth Pike and the other in Hellertown. These were the options Apple Care provided me over a chat.

The rep at the Lehigh Valley location, named Robert, was useless. I stood there listening to the customer before us. He basically gave so many stories on why not to change out the battery. He had the excuse that my daughters phone was bent so it wouldn’t pass the “Test” if they changed the battery. Apple seems to be avoiding to fix the issue that they caused!! My daughter’s phone was perfect until the iOS upgrade in Aug/Sep. Its frustrating that corporate America becomes filthy rich off of the public. They cause a problem then don’t want to rectify to save money. CUSTOMER service sucked from that rep. He didn’t even try hard to help. Not even an I’m sorry you have had so many difficulties. Hey, our money and our business is what pays your salary Robert!! Try a little harder next time. We went to a different location, they bent over backwards to justify the problem. P.S. Just picked up my daughters phone from the Rockaway Mall store. BATTERY IS CHANGED OUT!! Phone is working great!! What BS that Robert dished out at the Lehigh Valley location.

It was really sad watching 75 people wait in line to pay $1000 for a pocket calculator that makes phone calls and takes pictures. I also saw a grown man crying outside because he wasnt listed on the plan and couldn't upgrade to an iPhone XS until his name was put on the plan. Just think in 13 months when you still owe $300 on the 10 you will have to sell your soul for an 11. Just bought a Samsung J7 2 months ago and it works fine.

First...I have to say the help I received for my Mac at my appointment was fast and friendly. I would've given them 3.5 stars but I wasn't aloud to do it so I put it to 4 stars. Once I actually met with the tech help they really did know their product and were quick. Why 3.5 stars though. The wait the first day I stopped by was over an hour. I left and then later scheduled for the next day. I didn't realize the best way to set an appointment was either online or over the phone. Some may find it easy to schedule the appointment using either of these method but not me. I found setting the appointment over the phone highly annoying. I eventually hung up. I arrived the 2nd day for my appointment. The place was packed. I was on time and still waited past my scheduled appointment time to get help. Overall not bad but not great either.

The Apple Store seems like a very disorganized store. When you walk into the store, there is no central location like a customer service station where you can go to ask for help. And nobody greets you at the door to ask if you need help. There aren’t even signs that tell you what you need to do to get get assistance from the store employees. What I find mind boggling is how a company that makes some great products managed to set up their store that I find very disorganized and definitely not customer friendly!

Asked what I did to trouble shoot I said everything including resetting the pairing and her response was "well did you hold the round button on the back". That's exactly what resting the pairing is..... but then when I found out it would take a week just to get one bud I decided I want a refund instead. Refused it with no questions asked. I understand if I wasn't a fan of the product or misuse. But when it's because of defective hardware due to Apple's part. I feel I should be refunded not just pushed off as some peddler. Haven't purchased an apple product in a while and I will NOT be purchasing another in my life

Total waste of time. I went there for the appointment that I made a week before to get a battery replacement for my super slow iphone 6s plus that I just finished paying off. When I get there they spend 20 minutes running diagnostics and confirm that yes my battery is shot. They then tell me they ran out of batteries and I’d have to come back another time. I drove 45 minutes each way, only to have my time wasted. What exactly was the point of having me come to visit their “genius bar”,if they weren’t going to help me. The biggest company on earth doesn’t have software that can set aside batteries for customers that request batteries.

I have been an Apple product user since the iPhone 4 and today, Apple just reminded me why I have stayed loyal to them and will continue to. I am a privately contracted tutor for two online companies and am still an undergrad myself (Chemistry major). All of my in-person and online tutoring, as well as my own undergraduate coursework, is done purely by a 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 and 2nd gen Apple Pencil. No paper use has been needed for about 2 years now and I intend to keep it that way, as this combination of smart devices has enabled me to be 1000x more efficient, both as a tutor and a student. Needed to get that description out of the way to emphasize the importance and reliance I now have on these two devices. Today at around 5:30 PM, my Apple Pencil just suddenly would not connect successfully with my iPad. I’ve owned the 2nd gen Apple Pencil exactly 5 weeks from today so, when it occurred, I sort of had to suddenly shift 100% of my attention and focus to solve this problem. It is now around 7 PM by this point and I had done a bunch of online researching for how these types of problems are handled. Something about the process of shipping my device to a location and waiting some duration to have a new working device just did not sit well with me, the Apple Pencil being so vital to my daily work and activities. I figured I’d take a 20 minute drive to my nearest Apple store to see if there was anything they could do to accommodate my situation. I wasn’t expecting anything to be solved but I figured, hey, I got nothing to lose. It is 8 PM by this point and the Apple store closes in 1 hour. I walk in, walk around for a little to embrace the incredibly innovative yet foreign environment that is the new look of this Apple store. Mind you, it had been about 4 years since being in an Apple store so I felt out of my habitat to say the least but my hope of possibly having the dire problem solved was clouding my mind. I approach an Apple employee, Jon his name was, who was so welcoming and eager to learn my reason for visiting the store. I explain to him the situation. He looks into his iPad to search for a possible spot of assistance to get me in. He said he got me a spot and the wait would possibly be 40 minutes. I didn’t care for the wait so I went back to my car and grabbed my iPad and Apple Pencil and sat at a table he instructed me to sit for the representative to find me. It is now 8:30 PM and the store closes in 30 minutes. After sitting there for no longer than 3 minutes time, the representative was there to assist me already. I explained the situation and demonstrated the malfunctioning issue. He goes “okay let me be right back.” He walks over to grab a working Apple Pencil and asks me to attach it to see if it syncs fine with my iPad. It synced perfectly. He goes, “Okay! Let me check the stock of Apple pencils and have it brought out for you to test and ensure it syncs with your device and we’ll have you on your way! And yep, looks like we have one unopened box left in stock.” At this point, i’m still trying to comprehend the magnitude of what he just told me and the simplistic, unexpected outcome from my visit to the store by sheer desperation. He pulls the new pencil out the box, takes the packaging tape off of it and hands it to me so I can ensure it makes a successful sync. It immediately does. He goes, “Awesome!”, swipes through some pages on his pad, types up a 1 minute note of the situation, hands me the pad to read and continue through 2 more pages and then a sign. I asked, “How much will this cost me?” He replies, “Nothin my man. Just sign and you’re good to go.” And just like that, a $109 product was swapped and replaced in a snap and I was out the store door by 8:45, only 3 hours after initially recognizing that the pencil had stopped working. I was blown away. I hadn’t been impressed by customer service like this in years. I’ll reiterate the message I started this review with. Today, Apple has reminded me why I have remained so loyal to their products and why that loyalty was strengthened further.

If you have an appointment for something you are still going to be waiting a long time. I had a 6 o clock appointment and was told it was gonna be a 2 and a half hour wait for a battery. If a stores going to offer appointments it shouldn’t have walk ins. Or it should not give out so many appointments. There aren’t many apple stores around and some people drive hours to get there. (I had to drive almost an hour) They don’t want to wait hours once they get there.

I am not going to point out anything that I dislike about the brand, because this a store review. So, for the store, it is honestly beautiful. Wood, glass, giant screens, roomy store. Awesome experience. Before this beautiful store got a remodel, I went to get my iPod touch fixed because it was stuck on the white Apple logo. I tried to fix it, and it didn't work. I brought it to this store and they did the exact same process on a Macbook Air. It worked. Thank god that they have the special touch!

My brand new iPad had hardware damage. So my husband and I went to holy Apple store at the Lehigh Valley Mall a couple of weeks ago. One of the “geniuses” put me on the list to speak to someone. I was passed over for no reason after about an hour of waiting around that took me to Barnes and Noble and back with no call or text message registered on my cell phone. Finally, after being given no explanation I had to ask someone for help again and they said, “Oh, you were passed over. I don’t know why. I’ll put your name down again.” So after another 20 minutes, my name was finally called. I got this “genius” with blond hair, beard, stocky guy with icey blue eyes. He “seemed” nice but for some reason it felt forced and like he actually didnt’t want to help me. It was almost like, he didn’t believe that I was telling the truth—that my iPad was damaged, and had come damaged from the factory but like I was faking it or I had done something to it. He never blinked and talked to me like I was a child. After he tested it every which way possible and it turned out that in fact I was right, he reluctantly gave me a replacement iPad and when I asked for a box to take it in he assumed I had asked to take the damaged iPad with me. Which is stupid. What would I want with a damaged iPad! Wasn’t that the reason I walked in there in the first place? I didn’t correct him because I was just sort of in shock. This never-blinking intense “genius” made me feel like I didn’t belong there. Like it bothered him that my husband and I were there, like we weren’t the type that should be there. I’ve had Apple products for years and have experienced the ridiculous mightier-than-thou attitude these so-called geniuses have before. But nothing like this. I felt like he was racist. I felt distrust on his part. It was an awful experience. I will be back some day, though. And next time, I won’t stay shut.

The staff was wonderful (5 star for them) but when I got my phone back after they replaced my screen, now my phone is even worse than before.
