Don't buy here! Theses guys are a joke when it comes to fulfilling Apple Care requests! - To simply replace the charger I bought from them they require having my laptop and charger for roughly a business week! This is now the 5th VERY poor encounter with these guys.. go somewhere els. - I have filed multiple complaints with Apple for the poor service here and even damage done to my computer as a result of their work. I cannot recommend these guys.

Bought two power supply units for a desktop computer from Connecting Point. They both blew out within one year. ALSO! To make things better, I paid $65 for a power supply unit that actually cost $30. And this "$65" psu is just a hunk of garbage that blows out within five months to 15 month time line. I paid for not doing my research first, but people, do you research before buying something from these rip offs. And the WiFi USB dongle I paid $55 for from them, is actually worth $15-$20. Do not give these scammers your money for the trash products they carry.

Seth in Service was very helpful. It turned out he could fix my problem without leaving the computer which was WONDERFUL since I love 90 miles away! Thanks for having such great help!

Had a house call from Ryan Maudlin to address a set up issue with my airport time capsule. Just wanted to note that he did a fantastic job of fixing my issue as well as answering my many questions. I would definitely give his performance a five star rating. He was polite and efficient and definitely exceeded my expectations.

Dion Ray

Truly amazing. I do not understand why this company could have any low ratings. I brought in my computer that i just recently purchased and Seth Coy walked me through the setup process of my brand new computer. This is my first pc and i will happily admit that i will continue to come to connecting point. The service was great, the atmosphere was great, definitely a great experience.

I took my phone down to Connecting Point for my iPhone. There was a battery recall on the iPhone 6S recently and my phone was affected. I brought my phone into service and they quickly got me checked in and in line to have my battery replaced. They called me back later in the afternoon with news that my phone was done! I was very satisfied with the efficiency of the service as my phone is very important to me. The store atmosphere was very nice and Seth at the service counter was very helpful! Additionally, he helped me with a few questions I had on my Macbook Pro while he was checking me in. Great store!

Douglas Cole

Attentive and speedy service - the flavor of the day! The new location is FAR superior to the old site, the sales staff are knowledgeable and helpful.

Tamara Rousso

I recently purchased a new Mac laptop at Connecting Point and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. John Glassy, the salesman, was very patient and spent as much time with me as I felt I needed to make my selection. As part of the purchase the store installed new software for me, and John spent time afterwards answering all my questions and showing me how to do certain features. I will certainly patronize again.

Just got my husband laptop back and its all better. Helpful friendly staff

Ryan from the service department came to our home and quickly diagnosed and fixed multiple computer/printer problems. Great attitude and aptitude! Saved us hours of frustration.

They don't fix your iPhone screen here, they mail it in to Apple, the same exact option you can do on your own. When I contacted connecting point they told me they would fix my screen not that they would mail it in. Very disappointed! This information should be disclosed up front.

Customer service is great. Knowledgeable staff. Avi is a great PC tech. Recommend anyone with Apple or PC Devices to go here!

Anne-Marie Marron

My macbook pro broke the night before I had two big deadlines for work. I called Connecting Point and spoke with Simon. He walked me through my replacement options. I ordered my laptop and he had it set up, software loaded and ready by the time I arrived to pick it up. He made sure my phone and macbook were in sych and properly set up. I'm so glad I didn't order from Amazon. The service I received from Simon was extraordinary. It's nice to know this service still exists!

Sonja Nisson

I have purchased 3 computers at connecting point and each time John has been outstanding. I was in today to find out details of the "trade in" program and to get some help with iMovie. Once again, he was helpful, professional, and friendly. I would not buy my Apple anywhere else.

Peter Carini

I buy all of my computer products from Connecting Point for the reason that the people who work there have been there forever. Unlike other places that have kids that come and go. They do not sell junk and they are "straight shooters." I always come here first. If they have what I am searching for they get my business. But, sometimes they do not have what I need. It is not a "big box" store.

mounttest avarest

I used this place because they are suppose to be a certified apple repair store. The closest Apple Store to me is hours away so this was the next best option to get a speedy repair, well that was not done and it put me without a system for almost 2 weeks.

Stephen Duarte

Just saw an ad for Connecting Point in the latest Coffee News! Love this place! Been buying Apple products from them for years, bought my first Mac there! Glad to see they are still at it, great local place to shop!

Bin Jeli

Maybe their good at fixing PC's, but for Macs I would STAY AWAY!

Todd Derek

You know everyone has something to say, and my experience as an Apple Consultant here in the valley has been a positive one when working with Connecting Point. When I call ahead to ask their sales team to put products aside for me they do and it's ready and waiting for when I get there. When I call the Service department when I need their assistance on a hardware warranty repair, Jason and his team are always there to help answer questions, debug issues over the phone and provide a solution in a quick and timely manner. I use Connecting Point as a local resource for me and my customers and they do a good job providing us products and services. It would be a serious loss if there were not here helping us all! Keep up the good work team Connecting Point!

Ryan in service helped save my life. He talked me through a disaster with my iPad. Whatever you pay him, it isn't enough. Give the brother a raise. He deserves it. Keir Todd Brookings, Oregon

Fast and great people here.

It is a locally owned business. They have a great selection of computers, tablets, printers, etc. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful. The repair shop is fast, efficient, and truthful. I am a longtime customer.

when I dropped off my laptop computer for a crimped connection between the screen and the keyboard they said it would be about 3 days. After 5 days they had not looked at it. After another 3 days they said they were ordering a cable that would take 3-5 days and they would call me. I asked them about theur original time estimate and they said it was on average 3 days to diagnose then however long to fix. It's been 2 weeks and I've heard nothing. Ridiculous.

heroicproportion .

Do not buy from these guys, they cannot be trusted, you are much better off buying online. I bought a brand “new” Mac Book out of the box (it was supposedly new) but when I got home and opened it, it had a scratch on the case. I brought it back the very next day with a receipt, expecting to exchange it for what I paid for - a new, undamaged notebook. They refused, offering to send it in to get me a refurbished one instead(which I assume it was, since it was damaged.) I had it one day and never used it. Then 6 months later, the “new” laptop stopped working. It doesn’t even power up. I have been had. These guys are completely shady.

Roberta Beene

The service was terrible. I was told I would pay $400 for a simple repair. When I brought the machine in, they charged me $30 to "do a diagnostic" which was not necessary as the problem was obviously a broken screen. Then they bumped the price $300 more and hour after we dropped it off. When came back to pick it up, the manager accused me of lying. Nope. Cyber Center from now on. They replaced the screen for $400 no hassle.

Robert Adair

I tried connecting point . I was completely unsatisfied with every aspect of our transaction. I paid the money for the computer repair that did not fix it and found someone else. I will never use them again

Thank you everyone at Connecting Point for always being there to help me keep my business going. Your backup service is the best in town and the level of expertise you all have is amazing. Your personalized service has kept my business running smoothly for years now! And you always make sure I am up and running as quickly as possible when things go wrong. I do not know what I would do without you all! PS. Love Love Love my Apple Mac!

Diane L Kirwin

Thank Scott and Les for their superb patience and expert advice and extended aid to an older lady with a overseas charity to run, who has computer needs but also has huge gaps in her knowledge. Thank you both hugely for helping considerable to smooth out my life!!

Rajeka Has

Very Bad Service. The salesperson was chewing gum and had no interest what so ever to even talk to me in a manner that one would expect even though I said i wanted to buy the computer. Very intimidating and only talked about the extended warranty. "After 31 days do you know anyone who can repair it for you, if you dont take warranty?" Got the wrong computer and was not even willing to hand it to me as I wanted to check the specs. charged the wrong one, thats when I said to myself, I had it with this guy. Connecting Point will be out of business just like circuit city. If you get a cold service like this then its better buy online.

I went to connecting point for one reason: I needed to get a copy of Windows so that I could test web pages in Internet Explorer 6 and 7. Some idiot that works there sold me a copy of Windows 7 for $150, then once I get home, I come to find out that I can't run Internet Explorer 6 and 7 on Windows 7. That was the only thing I needed Windows for. They wouldn't refund my money, and they basically tried to act like it was my fault.

Savannah Swan

Seth fixed all my problems in less than there days with my phone and lap top. Excellent customer service!!!

Lucas Brown

Stopped into Connecting Point the other day to get my iPhone serviced. Employees were very professional and friendly. They serviced my phone quickly and for a great price. Antonio did a great job helping me out.

Connecting point computer center is the place to go for computer help! Great people, Great service and great products! Thank you connecting point for your loyal help the last 10+ years!!! Jason and Jeff are awesome!

Kristine Kellogg-Garrison

Bought my MacBook Pro at Connecting Point. BEST customer service ever. Salesman answered my numerous questions - it's rare to find that nowadays & I had tons of very specific questions about the Mac since it was my 1st & would be used for my business. Other places I shopped didn't know the specs, IF I was lucky enough to find a salesperson to help me. I loved the free classes after my purchase that helped me get to know my MacBook. Will definitely return when I need to upgrade or get a new iPad. Thanks, guys! Lovin' my Mac!

Rajib Rs

I used this place because they are suppose to be a certified apple repair store

I bought my macbook pro here and my parents have bought all apple computers and accessories through them as well. They always do a great job fixing issues and are always very welcoming, patient and kind.

I have had many unfortunates encounters with the staff at connecting point computers. Unfortunately they are the only people in the valley that work on Apple products. I am extremely unsatisfied with the way that they treat their customers. When I was talking to a member of their service team, he cut me off a number of times would refuse to answer my questions, rolled his eyes at me when I would make suggestions, the list goes on and on I would not recommend this place to anyone but unfortunately they're the only people in the valley.

I went to Connecting Point in Medford, Oregon with my mom and brother today. I was having some problems with my ipad. Simon Barnes helped me figure everything out. The whole process took about two hours. When my mom asked how much we needed to pay for his help, he said not to worry about it. He was very kind and smart. Thanks Simon!

Kristen Lycett

I've been a customer of Connecting Point for many years. Their staff are experts on the products they offer, and their customer service is the best. They also have a service department to help with any issues that may come up with your electronic devices. If you are a mac/Apple person, this is definitely the place for you - Apple products are their specialty. Shop local, shop at Connecting Points computers!

Richard Hitz

Just had my computer to tuned up there and they did a great job very fast now

Dan Calvin

Jake Eakin

Love them.

Shelley-Ann Hincks

This company does not deserve support.Purchased and paid $1900 for new Imac. They sold it to to another person and left me stranded. Simon Barnes was so offhanded they obviously do not value a client. Got my money back and went direct to Apple. Will never visit them again.

Susan Raney

I have used Connecting Point for several years, without any complaints. I always know that any problems I have will be resolved by the super employees who work there. I especially revere JAMES who has set up and worked on my system. He is professional, respectful and doesn't talk or explain things over my tech level. I have faith and trust in this shop.

DAVID the BRUCE

They are always great

Derek Moody

Took care of us quickly. They fixed the I Phone for Baba Bhagavan Das :)

Rosa Lee Maple

Congratulations to Simon Barnes, computer expert extraordinaire at the Medford Connecting Point store, for FINALLY getting my Rosetta Stone program to operate! His calm resolve and determined tenacity to make the program succeed, even after several failed attempts with the Rosetta Stone Support Team themselves to discover the cause, was remarkable. Simon's work ethic to fully satisfy this customer was greatly appreciated and valued!

Kay Thompson

I would like to post that my salesman John Glassy from the Medford Oregon Location gave me excellent customer service. You should hire more salesmen like him.

Keith Hoover

i went in to have my laptop worked on at cyber center and the prices were outrageous, my son told me about connecting point and said his needs had been met and exceeded at connecting point they were great friendly and fixed my laptop for half the price of any other shop in the valley thank you again for saving me in a time of need i will recommend you always.

Rob Chisholm

I have purchased products and have had service done at Connecting Point for several years. The staff is always knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. I really appreciate having a locally owned and operated computer store to work with. I would recommend Connecting Point to anyone looking to buy a computer, accessories or in need of service.

Magdalena Vahey

Amazing service ben hoover great company

Ally Sun Tata

Be careful not to leave them your screen protector or case as you may not get it back.

Scott Howell

Without exception, I have found the service at Connecting Point to be some of the best I've ever experienced. As a tech layman, issues with my computer can often times be overwhelming. Over and over again, I've found the staff to been more than patient with helping me with my questions. I generally seek out John G's service. He's always been inviting and made me feel comfortable with coming into the store to have my questions answered first hand. More importantly, I've found him to be very knowledgable and competent when helping me resolve my issues. Overall, I couldn't recommend connecting point more for all your product and service needs!

Michael Flynn

Great service. Very knowledgeable. Ask for John for all your new Apple purchases.

Trent Kopta

Great store and great staff. They arent the type to try to sell you something above your needs or that is more expensive.

Michele Rae

I went into Connecting Point on Christmas Eve in an absolute panic. Long story short, I though I had lost all of my pictures stored on my Mac Book Pro that I had purchased at Best Buy in Redding, CA. It was extremely busy but one of the Connecting Point staff helped me for over 45 minutes to find and recover my corrupted iPhoto folder and all my pictures. It turned out it was the store's general manager that helped me. I only realized this as I was driving home and saw him on a billboard. I'm new to Southern Oregon and will only purchase my technology from Connecting Point. Thank you Connecting Point for saving my Christmas!

Kathy Dungey

I came in to Connecting Point because microsoft office stopped working on my Mac. Les was very helpful, not only in fixing the microsoft issue but also in providing advice about storage of files, etc. that will help my computer be more organized and run more efficiently. It was well worth the trip and time. Les talked in terms that I could understand and shared the process along the way. Connecting Point (John) was also helpful throughout the previous week trying through email to help me correct the issue myself before bringing it in. I would recommend Connecting Point and will also purchase my next computer here.

Jeff Buel

Got lots of information about apple products. Would probably buy there for the service if needed.

Wylie Bettinger

Horrible experience, the Mac laptop purchased broke down in two months, denied service, and was 86'ed for telling them to F off.

Trent Burns

Ashamed to say after 13 years of being a return customer vouching for them and sending our friends and colleagues their way we will no longer put our business with them. Went in to buy am ipad pro picked out the one we wanted they told us to talk about it and ensure it's what we wanted went to a quick lunch came back 25 min later to pay for our selected item ( as they said they would hold it till days end) and they " regretfully sold it". Beyond dissapointed when you pay the additional cost for the customer serviace aspect of the sale and there is no customer service. Sadly loyalty dose not mean anything to this company I'll save myself the headache and cost and order my products from apple directly or amazon.

Riley Barraclough

Bryan Ghiglieri

Connecting Point has been great! From business to personal, their staff has been so helpful with every need or concern that I may have. Thank you so very much!

Mary Robsman

Les has been a lifesaver. His expertise and patience helped me transition from pc to a MacBook Pro. When a phone call to Apple support was not able to help me with a software problem, I asked Les on the Genius Desk at Connecting Point Medford. He was able to solve that problem and subsequent ones.

Robert Hobbs

I went to CP to buy either an ipad or update my computer. I had a general idea what I wanted. Scott was excellent in listening and he gave me good suggestions and comparisons of products. He made the task easier for me to make a wise decision. It's great to find someone working in a store who is thoroughly familiar with the products and able to explain them clearly.

Sally Merrill

John Glassy was very helpful during a recent scam. Took time to explain how to handle. Thank you, John.

Kellie Kinkead

John in sales really helped me a lot tonight. I bought a new Macbook Air, and he helped me get it set up. He was very patient with me as I am not that computer savvy. Thank you John! Kellie Kinkead

Florin Hiltz

Good store, help

Deb Porter

My under warrantee Mac had a video card going out. CP told me it would be almost 2 weeks to fix it. Hey, this is my business computer... 2 weeks just didn't work, but they would not budge on the time. Fortunately, we were going to Washington to visit our son. Up there, the local Mac Repair store did the whole thing in 3 days. Hey, some of us just can't be without a computer for 2 weeks! If I got the least impression that they cared one bit, I might have still taken my computer into them, but they were NOT user friendly!

Garrett Chisholm

Eric Miller

Grace Davis

Very patient and re-iterated several times over what was going on with my computer and what was needed to fix it. Fixed my e-mail issues which got messed up with another store. Ryan M set my computer up to how I need to use it and explained the do's and dont's of how to use my Mac laptop. I will be using Connecting Point for future support with my Mac.

Martin M. Garza

The worst customer service I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. I intend to follow this up with a letter to Apple Corporation describing how I was mishandled and verbally abused at Connecting Point.

Jack Baker

Pretty good service, would suggest going to actual apple store for mac laptops

Alex. Herman

Very unprofessional. BUYER BEWARE. I would have been better off taking my computer to a frozen yogurt stand. Absolutely incompetent staff. Never ask them to reinstall Java... like seriously you will be lucky if they understand what it is!

mike hunt

The level of customer service that I received from Simon Barnes was excellent. I would strongly recommend anyone having an issue with their computer or some kind of computer related question drop by Connecting Point and talk to Simon. You will be happy you did. Loyal Customer Kyle T of Medford,OR

Screw these guys. Send ur mac somewhere else for fixing. The tech basically STOLE our G5

Much easier to access than Best Buy or Walmart talk to a person and not have to hold on phone. they have a good inventory and they're very knowledgeable staff definitely recommend this place!

Rich Sommers

Horrible Service!!!! I went there to have the battery replaced on my iPhone and when I dropped it off I mentioned that I had replaced the screen previously. They told me to come back in 4 hours to pick it up. I asked them to call me when it was done rather than to wait the whole time because I live 30 miles away and I would be waiting at the library. The service manager refused to call me because they were too busy to call me when it was finished. When I got there to pick it up they told me because I had replaced the screen that they were not able to change the battery due to apple warranty issues. So I had to wait 4 hours when I told the service manager in the beginning that I had replaced the screen myself. IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!

Ginger G

Helped me with a somewhat challenging computer problem: the young men were patient and the work was done well and promptly. The price seemed fair.

Yvonne Woodward

Great service, Apple repair service!

Jeannie Bianca

Here's a great big shout out to Connecting Point's John Glassy. Thanks John for your patient and expert advice and problem solving! Not just today, but over the past several years. Because of your great service, I wouldn't go anywhere else. I've purchased all of my devices from Connecting Point, including some gifts as well, and couldn't be happier.

Jayne Brown

It is a TRUE pleasure to have been taken care of by Scott Farmer!! His kind help was over the top. I was not making a purchase at the time and he gave me uninterrupted assistance untangling a problem without concern of time taken or if purchase was being made. THAT is Real Service. Great Store to Boot. Everyone in the store is generous in their help and courtesy and smiles. Thanks Jason Kellogg, too! Jayne Brown National NLP Trainer

Had a great technician at the house today - Ryan Maudlin. Not only did he fix what was needed, but explained everything to me. If I have any problems in the future, I definitely want him to service my computers! Thank you, Ryan!

Donald Boucher

Seth Coy, Technical Specialist, was very knowledgeable and helpful with issues I was having my iPhone ability to reset through my computer. He was very patient and explained the process in a way that a computer illiterate such as myself could understand.

When my husband and I moved to Medford in 2007, we soon discovered Connecting Point as the place where we could get reliable support for our existing computer which we had purchased while living in San Diego. Your knowledgeable sales staff provided valuable advice to us when purchasing both hardware and software.. As officers of a non-profit foundation we rely heavily on the expertise of your staff to keep us up and running. As we are now in our seventies, keeping up with technology is an ongoing challenge. Ben Turk originally inspired our confidence in Connecting Point's service department, and kept our old desktop functioning to the limits of it's capacity. Through the years we've purchased several printers, a computer for our grand daughter, an ipad and various peripherals from Connecting Point. A couple of weeks ago, just as we were working on year end reports for the foundation, our faithful eight-year-old PC desktop, (still running XP) stopped working. Why do computers always crash at the worst possible time? Of course we immediately issued an SOS to Connecting Point. Ryan Maudlin was sent out to help us. He soon determined the old desktop could not be saved. Microsoft no longer supports XP meaning we finally had to purchase a new desktop and learn a new operating system. The good news was that all the data from the hard disk could be transferred to a new computer. Ryan has explained possible options to us and advised us spend some time looking at new computers and talking with sales staff. Scott Farmer graciously showed us the models on the floor and answered thoughtfully answered our questions. Ryan had advised us that Microsoft 7 might be the most practical option for us as it's most like what we have been using. Scott didn't try to sell us the most expensive computer, but asked questions about how we would use the computer. He genuinely listened as we explained our needs and insecurities about learning to operate a new computer for both business and personal tasks. We made our decision about the desktop that will best serve our present needs. Today Ryan Mauldin returned to our home office with the computer we had selected. True to his word, everything on the old desktop had been transferred to this new computer I'm using to write this evaluation. He spent two hours installing the computer, connecting our existing printers and making sure it all worked with our internet service. He then demonstrated how everything worked and patiently answered our many questions. He left us with the security of knowing we can get assistance anytime we need it by calling Connecting Point Service. We know from years of experience that when Connecting Point says they will be there to help us, they will be. Sometimes acquaintances tell about their nightmarish experiences with electronics they purchased online or from "big box" stores. Promised support evaporated immediately after the sale was completed. These are the reasons my husband and I rely on Connecting Point. At the end of the day, we know purchased the best equipment available within our budget and will sleep soundly knowing the knowledge and support we need with always be there for us.

After making an appointment to have my iPhone battery changed I found out that they do this on a first come first serve basis. So making an appointment through Apple’s website will not help you. I called that morning to check if I brought the phone in earlier if that would help but at that time they told me it would not make any difference (not true). I also called and verified how long it would take in which they originally told me 2 1/2 to 3 hours and then when I went in they told me it would be six hours. On top of that they charge an additional fee for installation. Extra $30. I highly recommend that you just go to a (real) Apple retail store.

Jehonadad Lopez

Very poor service!! I have used this place for all my apple computers, purchase all mac for my business, all my guys used apple devices and phones, thru the years I have spend thousands of dollars with this store. I have even purchase warranty for my devices. Last week my new iPhone 6plus was giving me problems and I want it to have them service and they told me it was going to take anywhere from 3 to 7 days to get if check and for the mean while I was going to be with out a phone, I told them I could not be with out a phone since this is how I run my business. They just told me "sorry there is nothing we can do for you" What it was worth's the manager accused me of laying, he told me in two occasions that they did not sell IPhones at there store. I had to call my sell person to confirm that in did I made a special order from there store. I'm so appointed that will be the last device I ever by from them. I also want to mention that my sells person is been top notch, excellent service and he really cares for his customers, sadly the manager doesn't shares his values!!!!!

Olivia Tina

The talks on the phone with these guys in the beginning were shady and the repair work was junk. I don't think they gave it much effort at all for it to completely die 24 hours after they released it

Claire Mundell

Horrible Service. Go Elsewhere!!

I am a big believer in shopping local. I wish I would have resisted the urge a few months ago when I decided to purchase $2,700.00 in Mac-ware from Connecting Point rather than buying online or going to Portland. The initial transaction of buying the products didn't have any "big" issues, just a minor one (I was not told I would need an adapter to connect my new model MacBook Air to the slightly older version of the 27" Thunderbolt display, so had to go to Portland to get the adapter after setting up my system). Everything pretty much went okay and they agreed to take my American Express card, which normally they don't like to do because it costs them more for the transaction fee. I get that. It was nice of them to take it. That's about all I can say for the positive side of it. Apple was doing a promo this summer when I bought my computer where if you purchased certain products directly from Apple (read: full boat retail), you get a $50.00 gift card to Apple/itunes etc. Well, Connecting Point (also selling at full boat retail) decided it'd be wise to do the same thing. But, their $50 was only good for 90 days, at their store. I moved away for school before I even got the card in the mail and have been gone since at school where there is no Connecting Point, and the card expired. I went in yesterday since I'm home on break, to see if there was any way they would still honor it. No. Not even a chance. He was slightly apologetic but with zero interest in trying to retain me as a customer. I'm not an idiot. I realize $50, in the grand scheme of life is not a big deal, but when you're full time law student on an extremely limited budget, $50 IS a big deal. Sure, I'm not going to starve or anything since I can't use my gift card but the lack of logic in it even having an expiration date or them not being willing to even negotiate with me is ridiculous. I'd love to know what their profit margin is on selling Apple full retail. I'm pretty certain that $50, wouldn't even be felt. My boyfriend, a long-time well-educated Mac user, tried to talk me out of going to Connecting Point due to his multiple disappointments in their service, knowledge and customer care over the years. I have another friend who was completely hosed on a laptop she purchased from them a few years back and did not support me purchasing from them. I wish I had listened. I should have spent my dollars elsewhere. I think that because they the only game in the region, it has made them pretty self-important. That's definitely the feeling I have from them. I will no longer spend my dollars at Connecting Point. Such a bummer. I really want to support our local businesses. I cannot justify it though when the customer care, loyalty or desire to reach out, does not exist.

Thieves, Charged twice what new memory to fill to capacity would have cost, filled with miss matched low capacity used memory stolen from other computers. They talk like they know about PCs but they are here to make a sale, not to be helpful. They like to sell old versions of software here. Way over-priced, bad ethics.

Jordan Lange

Needed to ask one question, Mac support directed me to call one of there official retailers repair shop. Gave me this number and one in California. Called these guys and they refused to give and tech support over the phone. Guy Said there not Mac... So then called California number and like it was just taking the next breath to find the answer. Sincerely, Thanks Expert tech supporters.. I’m wandering if I should call Mac and let them know there not a full service retailer.. ehh I’m not much for complaining just would like to keep things friendly and simple..

Great place and great service.. I've been dealing with Scott for many years and he is awesome... It's a great company that are good to their customers....

I called to make an appointment for service and, I kid you not, the person just said: do you expect us to drop whatever we're doing and help you? It was as though he were unfamiliar with the concept of both appointments and customer service. I'd rather deal with apple themselves.

After purchasing a brand new Iphone through my cell service provider and receiving it via mail, I was unable to enable the phone. I called my cellular provider and they were unable to get it working. They sent a new Sim card and told me to call them prior to installation. I received it, called them and when they said it was finally enabled, it might have been on their end, just not on mine. I could receive incoming calls but not send outgoing texts or calls. I then took the phone into my carrier and they were unable to get it working and suggested I call Connecting Point since they work with Apple products. I called Connecting Point, who I have used successfully in the past, and a gentleman named Simon explained what a couple of the issues could be and to come in as a walk-in. I followed through at home with one of his suggestions and then brought my phone in to the store where Nolan began working with it. It took a couple of times but he was able to get it enabled, however the entire download was estimated as a 3 hour process. Nolan advised me as to what to do when I got home, I did, and now my new phone is working perfectly. In addition to that, Nolan took care of an issue I had on my computer. I am extremely pleased with Connecting Point.

Billy Dillard was a lifesaver today as we were having trouble connecting an iPod device to iTunes on the computer to download a playlist for wedding ceremony. We were in a panic with little time left to find alternatives. We had tried EVERYTHING we could identify with online manuals, help, googling the message. Billy was very knowledgeable, and calmly diagnosed a likely problem. He expertly guided us through the solution. We are immeasurably grateful for his expertise, professionalism, and warm reassurance. Thank you, Connecting Point, for providing a high level of competency in your staffing. We are so glad to have you in Medford!

My wife's MacBook Pro went catatonic last week. They took it on Saturday and it was repaired a day ahead of their prognosis. On pickup, I was planning to buy a piece of backup equipment and they guided me to an alternate, and more robust, option, even though it was considerably less expensive. They were wonderful.

Hello, I was in your store today, and I feel compelled to let you know that Derrick and Logan were the most pleasant and helpful service techs I've come across in a very long time. Derrick went above and beyond in helping me with my iPhone 7 Plus. He is knowledgeable, courteous, thorough, and didn't mind explaining everything to me. I will recommend your store to anyone that needs iPhone repair. Thank you!

Ryan Maudlin was wonderful. He explained as he installed our computer and helped set up my new i Pad. He was very helpful and answered all our questions while trying to show us how to use our new iMac. We are retired and some of this is very confusing. This is our first experience with the iMax so we are excited to learn all we can. Thank you so much for sending such a patient young man. He was great. Thanks again Bill and Cheryl Orr

For a person who is not computer literate, I am so thankful for Connecting Point. John is always friendly and patient with my issues and has an incredible way of explaining things. I would recommend Connection Point to everyone who needs assistance great or small. Thanks John!

I had a great experience here! My computer crashed during finals week and I brought it into the service department at Connecting Point. They were able to fix the problem in just two days and I didn't lose any of my data! Very friendly and helpful staff. They explained everything that went wrong and how it could be prevented in the future. Store is very nice inside and the prices are very reasonable for the services offered.

Today I went to Connecting Point for technical assistance with my MAC and my IPad. As has happened in the past, I was provided with incredible help and information regarding a program, OneDrive. I am grateful for the help that was given to me by two employees, Kean and Simon, who provided the professional help and service I've come to expect from Connecting Point in Medford. Thank you.

A week ago I took 3 computers into Connecting Point and was introduced to Ben Hoover; IMAC lampshade, Dell and HP laptops. Because the Dell is a work computer, Ben gave it a high priority and was back in my hands within two days. Following day, IMAC and HP were serviced. Ben spent considerable time educating me on particulars of these aging computers, cleaned up any viruses on laptops and installed new virus protection software. Another associate diagnosed power cord problem with IMAC. For items as important as our computers, I will consider taking them in for regular maintenance for worry-free computing. Way to go Connecting Point.

They told me my computer was completely broken from water damage. After talking with a competitor they told me I could use isopropyl alcohol and get the corrosion off. Sure enough, my computer is now fixed and connecting point told me repairs would cost $1500 and data recovery would be $240. I fixed my computer for $25 in tools, rubbing alcohol and cotton swabs. Do your own research and don't take what they say here at face value.

I am officially boycotting this business. I have spent hundreds of dollars here for no reason. I came in about a software issue one time, had the receipt for my product and asked if it was needed to which they said “not necessary” but that there would be a diagnostic fee of $30. Couple weeks later when I returned they informed me no progress was made because they needed the receipt. To top it off when I furnished the receipt at that point they promptly informed me that nothing could be done because the purchase wasn’t made directly from Apple. That is literally why I asked if they needed the receipt weeks earlier and before paying them for nothing ultimately. Gets better though, like a fool we returned to the establishment months later (because they monopolize the apple market for 150 miles any direction) to have our NEW MacBook Pro looked at regarding a possible recall on the hard drive that we purchased from THEM only a year prior. Within just a few days we receive a call saying the Mother Board is toast and it would be $550 roughly to fix. When I asked how this could have happened or if there was any evidence as to what caused the problem he said he had no idea and there was nothing more he could tell me. A completely unexplainable $500 dollar repair on a product originally purchased in the same room. I don’t like to talk s*** and I’m a reasonably understanding and tolerant person, I’m aware that sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, but I also know there’s plenty of people that will take you for all you have. CONNECTING POINT = CROOKS I’ll pass the word to the Better Business Bureau P.S.- After my original post I decided to do some due diligence here and noticed a lot of the good reviews are perfect “5/5 They’re AMAZING” and yet have no profile pictures. Not to mention each one is the ONLY review ever written by the account in most of the instances. No room to talk here, having no notable review history or picture up either. Still, might be something worth keeping in mind.

This establishment is straight up a nightmare. There employees are unexperienced and have no clue what there talking about or doing. For being the only APPLE AUTHORIZED store in the rogue valley you think they would be great but unfortunately not. I came in with a phone for a repair and got it back more Broken then it was! then they wanted a fee for $600 and refused to service claiming "they don't look at devices in store". Then after they proceed to return my phone to me they dropped it on the floor screen first and gave it back like after a 2 WEEK WAIT TIME (ete 5 days pshh). I do recommend taking it anywhere else before here first.

Billy Dillard and Ben Hoover in the service department were amazing. We had an issue with our MacBook Pro regarding Parallels. We run a small business in the area and they realized we had a large meeting the next day and needed the laptop right away, they let me know they would look and see if it was an easy fix they could do right away. They did want me that if it was more in depth I would need to check it in and it could possibly be 3 to 5 business days. Which I liked that they tried at first and did let me know that it may be something that could take longer and they work on a first come first serve basis. In the end they were able to fix the problem in roughly 20 minutes or so. Thank you so much for your up-front way of business and also offering to at least see if you could resolve the issue quickly. So so happy with the service, and also when we purchased all of our equipment it was easy and care free. We purchased 3 Mac's all together plus printers, and other equipment and Steve was also great to work with. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thanks, Jessica & David Funderburk

My iMac hard drive died on me after 10 years of daily use. After contacting Apple directly and working with them to try and find and solve the problem without success Apple made an appointment with Connecting Points. They determined that the hard drive couldn't be fixed. They recommended replacing it with an SSD drive which I did. With that installed I called Apple for help recovering all my lost data. There were complications and that is when they referred me to Connecting Points. Even though Connecting Points had not caused the problem, Antonio, one of there techs fixed it and even took some time to show me how to recover more date from my external drive.

Les is MORE! Took our Macbook Pro in for a problem with our iOS update and got prompt, professional service with very clear and helpful assistance from Les, the service tech. We then asked about swapping out the spinning drive for a new solid state drive and doubling the RAM, all with the purpose of getting a few more years of life out of the machine, and Les also took care of that in short order. Very satisfied in all respects.

Let me first say I have been going to Connecting Point for years. Always nice and respectful. I, like many others, believed they were the only company able to fix Apple products in the valley correctly. WRONG. They tried to charge me $349 To repair my cracked iPhone screen, because they said the glass broke through to the back screen. They began to tall me if I went elsewhere my thumbprint wouldn’t work anymore. I am technologically impaired, but I did find out one thing. The glass and back screen ARE ONE PIECE and at a local shop cost me $100 for an original replacement Apple screen. And guess what? Thumbprint works. Imagine that! Wow, miracles do happen! You do need to take into consideration your warranty, so what I have to say for that is to go to Apple directly. Connecting Point ships it off to them to get fixed anyway, so save yourself the middleman. They also charged me $50 to reset my password because my software update locked me out, and no matter what YouTube video I watched helped. Took them a few minutes. They look out for number 1. They are based off commissions, so the more they can get from you the more they pocket. Long story short, if you have Apple products either find someone local or go Apple direct, at least you will find someone that knows what they are talking about.

Took our tablet into the store with the thought of leaving it to be serviced because of constant Windows shut down. Drayke talked to us and figured out the problem while we stood there. He made sure we were comfortable with the new configuration he had to install, then told us it was fixed. We left the store with the tablet and not owing a thing. We haven't had a problem with the tablet since and will definitely be back.
