. Had a bad experience with the customer service. Hope they are more helpful next time!

Ian Cawley

I might have had a one-off experience but I found the store cold and uninviting. No staff ever addressed me as I wandered for a bit trying to figure out who could help me. Ended up just going to a sprint store and they were super nice and helpful.

Juliana Herrera

I purchased my first iPhone here the sales rep guide me great customer service

Tuan Nguyen

We had a trade in today at Apple Store and Diane was helping us. She’s so knowledgeable, kind, and super helpful. She made our day. Blessed and grateful. THANK YOU Diane for your EXCELLENT customer service.

Dave B

Great store. But I'm all about Android

Alice Scott

Don't know

Winnie Potter

We had an appointment at 2:00 pm regarding a malfunctioning phone. We arrived 10 minutes early and were not helped for an hour. When we were finally given the diagnosis they said it would be a 150$ fix. We have never dropped this phone or gotten it wet but it was treated as if it wasn’t their problem. I would recommend you go to a local repair shop before this store any day.

Kyle Kunze

Sitter helpful staff.

Clayton Lawrence

Reset my phone for me and didn't make me wait even though I just walked in. -2 stars for everyone else that is forced to wait hours and hours for service.

Pavel Kudlanov

Great service. Quick to help you out. Parking isn't too great but ehh what can you do. Everything else is great.

Kyle Kemenyes

Never been a huge fan of Apple and their products but they have an excellent presentation of new and related products. Their service is a notch above good and most of their staff is generally knowledgeable about the products. They don't try to lie to you if they don't know how to fix it and will recommend the right course of action to fix the issue

hugo pina

I have an iPad Air 2 I want to the Apple Store to get my defective iPad repaired and instead they did not give me any options. they wanted me to trade my broken iPod for another one paying retail price so basically I could do that anywhere I could buy an iPad anywhere for the same price but they were going to take my broken iPad no help here don't waste your time

Shawn Hill

Nice apple store aesthetically but low staffed for the number of patrons

Aaron Hydro

Will never go back. Thought I would try the switch to apple but I just can't. Nice people, fancy look. Just not for me

Kesha Thomas

This was my first visit to an actual Apple store, usually shop online. It was thee perfect visit. Went to do a trade in and upgrade. When I first got there, was told there would be a little wait. That turned out to be about a minute wait. The young brunette w/ glasses, from Michigan lol didn’t get her name, assisted me. She was very efficient. It was quick and painless and even had a little convo while waiting for everything to update on my new phone!!

Ric Barton

Went here for a repair appointment. All went well. The tech arrived a couple minutes early. He was professional and personable. Solved my problem quickly. I left a happy person having spent considerably less time than I had imagined it might take to get my issue resolved Apple had made what could have been a miserable activity actually a pleasant experience.

Heidy Morales

The guy that helped us was really nice and explained all good

Jovanny Ferreyra

Apple store made entirely of glass. Cool scenery to walk by. All in all its just a fancy apple store. Nothing incredible

TatooineSky .

Apparently, "appointment times" means something different to Apple staff. When you make an appointment, it apparently only puts in a group of people. All I needed was a battery replacement, and my appointment time didn't mean anything to them. They said to leave my phone because there were other people ahead of me. They never even apologized. All they said was "appointment times are different then repair times". I would fully understand if they were just behind schedule, but they were clear and said that my appointment time never meant that my phone would be looked at starting at that time. They guy even seemed smug about it.

Blaue Katze

Liked it a lot. Not too many people there. Attentive knowledgeable geniuses. Interesting added information about the stores architecture. Was fun!

Mathew Dado

This store was useless - it doesn’t take computers for trade in.

Jackie Guevara

I'm such an awkward person, but Tatum from Hawaii was super cool and made me feel comfortable. 10/10 would recommend. Give her a raise!

Jean Tudor

Nice and strange place. Feels like a museum with so much real estate for 3-4 products to sell.

Lucas Gray

Great place if you like Apple products. Often there is a very long wait for the genius bar so make an appointment ahead of time if you need a repair or something. There are also big crowds or lines to get in if a new product was launched recently. The design of the store is very nice.

sergio trinidad

Store could you some signage for better direction.. there isn’t ever anyone to help you with you’re problem .. but then when you have an appointment you still have to wait 45 mins over you’re appointment time to be seen and then they called said we’re ready for you.. I thought 45 minutes ago when you text me you were ready and I left my lunch to come back and then you made me wait again before being seen.. are you kidding me this experience from this store was a total turn off towards Apple..

pragnesh parikh

Without the Apple device issue I probably won't have stopped here while exploring the city, culture and its uniqueness. Due to a recent software update the screen brightness dropped significantly on the iPhone. For an adjustment that literally took 30 seconds, I was asked to make a tech appointment. Okay, I can do that and come back in 30 minutes for the scheduled appointment. Another 15 minutes wait. No tech. Why do they make an appointment? As I was just about to walk out on Apple, I thought of giving another try by Apple employees who have just talking among themselves right along the front door. The staff person changed the setting by three clicks on the top right button. Question is why I was asked to make an appointment for a simple adjustment? Shouldn't all staff working at store should be knowledgeable and help with simple adjustments? I guess that's an Apple way!

Xubin Xue

Have been here a lot because we live very close by. But the two most recent visits have been very bad. Both times no one was greeting us or signing us in line. We had to grab staffs after awkwardly standing and waiting for a while. AND staff was not very helpful regarding technical issues. Saw lots of staff just standing and chatting with each other while I was VERY frustrated with my Iphone. And just overall not good. Disappointed. Feels like staff will only gladly help you if you are purchasing anything new , just sales people. Very disappointed. Really??!!! Apple please upgrade your customer service!

Kendall O'Brien

Three sales people there are helpful and friendly.

Joshua Everett

My out of the box iMac 21.5” 2017 wouldn’t turn on. After spending 50mins on the phone being passed around from one uniformed “genius” to another I am forced to repack and send the iMac back for a replacement which will take over 5 days, though there is a Mac store within walking distance from my house. Someone please create some new technology so we all don’t have to continue to use Apple products while Tim Cook runs the company into the ground.

Abhishek Sullad

This place just looks amazing , the service by every employee there is appreciated.

Natasha Von Ahn

Nick was super helpful! I was a bit lost, maybe a little overwhelmed upon entry, but he was super helpful and I was able to pick up my order quickly, no problem.

Brandon Huggins

Most unprofessional genius staff I have ever seen. Never again.

Sophia Hill

In December I made an appointment at this store to have my iPhone battery replaced. Anticipating a holiday rush, I arrived early but was told to wait. I wandered the mall for awhile before coming back to check-in again and was directed to a table where someone would meet me soon. I proceeded to wait 25min beyond my appointment time before asking another employee how long it would be. They stated it would be another 20min before someone could see me. Frustrated, I asked them about my battery issue and was told it could not be replaced in house anyways. In the end we had to transfer it to my home store. Though I had scheduled an appointment a week ahead of time and had arrived early to give ample time, I was not treated well. In the end I wasted about 5 hours of my time and did not get a replacement battery. I could not find a direct way to tell Apple this, something customer service could improve, so I thought I would share it directly on the store. Service was slow, staff were short and my issue wasn't resolved.

S Touch

I asked for Apple they wouldn't give it to me. They said I have to go to grocery stores to find some apples

Philip McConchie

Im not sure what is even going on in this location. My phone has a cracked screen, so i go in to start the replacement conversation, and it somehow looks like every person in the store is an employee. There is no counter with a human behind it, they are just scattered about. I had 8 people in green shirts im guessing they are employees?) make eye contact with me, but not a single one asked if i needed anything or looked ready to help. 4 of them were just hanging out at one table, maybe this is the break room too? I have no idea but i guess ill deal with a broken iPhone for a little longer ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Kelly Witbeck

Ordered online, fast pickup and had some technical questions asked while I was there. In and out in less than 20 minutes!

macabre macabre

Under staffed and long waits

Alan Joseph

I went for an online order pickup. Had to wait for a long time to get a customer service person.

Justin Owens

Literally useless, long wait for help, couldn’t get a replacement without going through an even longer queue requiring appointments. Worst customer experience ever

tipdarath phal

Great design of the Apple Store with friendly and helpful staffs and experts

Robert Litt

How do you buy things at this store? Salespeople seem to float in and out of your vicinity. They disappear when you need them and appear when you just want some alone time to think. It almost seems like the inverse of normal salesman instincts. Certainly no hard sell here. Kind of like a mushy gooshy soft sell.

Robert Hoffman

another good Apple store with helpful, knowledgeable staff and the usual array of fine products at high prices.

Lafy Pone

After waiting four months for this store to reopen so I can get help with OS X glitch, I was blatantly ignored by staff with who I made direct eye contact. She walked past me several times and asked the gentleman next to me if he needed help when it was clear he did not. No matter how many times our eyes met, she still ignored the fact that I obviously needed help. Needless to say, after sitting there for an hour, I left without getting help. I'll never go back!

Esther Thompson

I mean it's the Apple store. Great customer service but always over priced. I wouldn't normally spend this much for anything. But, this phone was my son's graduation gift.

donna young

Would have been great if weather had been better.

Ryan Chiang

Huge and clear store, and best of all no tax

Felix !

super pretty store! I went in having never owned an apple product in my life, and the staff helped me pick out the ipad for what I needed, and I got it with no issues! super happy with it! also, their classes are awesome, I'm super happy to see accessible education happening!

D McAllister

They refuse to honor what was promised by customer care.

Madeline Kane

Lots of staff standing around, yet hour-plus wait time to get help with a simple repair. Repeatedly extended repair time on my computer because they were missing parts and damaged it during repair.

Meron Semere

Great products terrible customer service. Went to get my MacBook fixed told me I’ll receive a text in an hour and half and no one came over to help and never received a text. I asked twice for help then when I did it was past closing time and I got there at six. Most disgusting act of customer service I seen but Apple products are nice though.

dan hander

The worst apple store around super weird say someone will be with you in 15 minutes expect to be there for 50 mins and they dont help ppl in order

Jean Bond

Crazy busy, so get there closer to other if you can. That said, even when it's busy, I've always received excellent customer service here.

Jacee Roseberry

I love the new store. The place is so open and bright.

Lingaraj Gurusamy

The largest apple store ever visited. Well located at the corners. Beautifully visible from outside with all glass structure featuring all products of Apple with knowledgeable associates to help you at your purchase. Excellent and most welcoming customer service. You can have a demo of all products of Apple sit peacefully and decide to own one.

Leslie Alwiel

Great service from a helpful folks. Very patient with us in getting our new phone set up.

Michael V

Just really unorganized. Often times difficult to find a store employee to help.

Melinda Berg

I switched from iPhone to galaxy when the 5 (the one that was overheating that they quietly discontinued) burned my child. I decided to switch back and got an Xs max, Xr, and another iPad. I ordered a screen cover and my phone didn’t even come in contact with anything but my center console. They say “sapphire” glass, but before I could even charge it, there’s a scratch. I called and spoke with a manager to see if they could bypass fees, as I literally dropped about $2500 and that is insane to have a scratch, my 2 year old galaxy doesn’t have 1! Well, nothing. They want more money, but luckily it hasn’t been 30 days, so it’s all going back this weekend. She even had the nerve to ask me “well before I see if I can bypass it, let me ask you something. If we can, will this keep you buying apple products?” Kelly, your customer service lacks even more than the products durability.

Kael

Been buying products at this location ever since they were inside the mall. Have always had a great experience. Never had to wait long. The staff have always treated me well. Transactions were easy and smooth. The store design looks cool too. Shout out to Ryan and Aneesah for great interaction, helpfulness and answering all my questions.

Skye Maurer

Really cool store.... Just super crowded.

Meg In The World

My boyfriend and I got new iPhone here a couple of days ago. It was Sunday afternoon, so we expected to be crowded. After 15min waiting we found an available staff. He was friendly, super kind and tired to help everything we needed. We’re actually back on Monday to get an adapter, the staff was friendly and nice, too! I might want to replace my MacBook before I go back to Japan. スタッフがとても親切です!

Claudia Miller

Service was quick and efficient. Walked out with a repair and new laptop on a Saturday afternoon in less than forty minutes! We'd visit here again.

Josh Melling

Beautiful apple store right downtown Portland, same helpful staff and great products,

Stoic Nietzschean

It was decent once you finally hunt down someone for assistance. I can't stand the unorganized no counter for help. You literally stand around with a finger up your bum hoping to get assistance. They think it's cool, it's not.

Shanta Calem

Beware. I bought a new phone and the Apple tech assured me he backed up my data to the cloud. Turns out he did not back up my photos so all are lost. Apple's reply? I should have known to click the specific iCloud photos button. But isn't that why I went to the experts?

Tim Tang

Came to buy 3 phones for work (app development) from Seattle. 1. Arrive at apple store in downtown Portland, just tell them I wanna buy some phones, they say sure just order on a computer for pickup at the store, they should have some in stock. They don't. 2. Apple employee helps me set pickup at location 20 minutes away (Bridgeport) because they have pickup available. Have to set a pickup time 3 hours later. 3. Arrive 15 minutes before pickup time just in case, talk to Apple employee. They ask for my name and tell me to hang out and someone will find me when they're ready. Approx. 20 minute wait though. So I sit down near the front. 4. 35 minutes later, no one has talked to me so I find the same customer service person and ask how much longer. They tell me they couldn't find me even though I didn't move... So 10 more minutes and they find me to talk to me. They tell me my order isn't ready for pickup and I have to call apple customer support. No one in the store is empowered to fulfill the order, the phone reps have more power than them. 5. Call apple support and they say I have to wait another 4-6 hours before it'll go through the system and allow them to give me my order. I finally convince them to ship it to Seattle after another 10 minutes 6. Bonus: next day get an email saying my order would be cancelled if I didn't call them back (this part only took 5 minutes) ...And that's how you buy an iPhone. Just as a note, I'm 1-starring the Apple shopping experience, not the store or its employees. The employees should be empowered to help the customer, but instead they are powerless to the stupid system that Apple has created. Bonus update: As if the experience weren't bad enough... even though I paid before pick up, because they changed the address to Seattle, they re-charged me for tax which defeats the purpose of me buying the iPhones from Portland in the first place. They never sent me an updated invoice so the charge came as a complete surprise and made it extremely hard for me to expense at work (since I had the wrong invoice). My only option was to do a credit card charge back with the actual invoice I received. I then received a letter from my credit card company with Apple's rebuttal on the dispute with provable lies; the most blatant lie being that they claimed I purchased from Seattle IP (impossible since the customer service guy purchased at store through their computer in Portland). Get your stuff together, Apple. Not only am I never making an Apple purchase again, but I'm going to be swaying friends and family away from Apple products. This is unacceptable.

Anne-Claire Weil

We had all family iPhone there and the staff is the best ! Classes were so great as well ...

Kevin Hoover

The place to go for all of your Apple needs. Staff are very well trained & knowledgeable about the products. Recently took my iPhone 6 in for a battery replacement. Although it took a bit longer to fix than they quoted, they kept me informed. Store is “always”, busy but they will schedule an appointment for you (usually in an hour or so), so have patience.

Arick Auyang

For an innovative company and a 'genius' bar it is pretty comical how poor their service dept is. I've seen restaurants with better alert systems. Came in early, checked in and was asked 'where in the store are you going to be in?' Its not that big of a store... And you can't take a number and text or call me when is time for my time with a 'genius?'

Shanshan He

Only giving a star for its merchandise but does the credit even belong to this store? No real tech support to speak of. Chaotic environment. Inadequate know-how.

Maya Abdirahman

The staff members at this place is really amazing.

Keith Odom

Crowded, uppity, and almost impossible to get someone to help you. Once you finally do get help, they are either really nice or the opposite. Not much in the middle of that spectrum. Sad. Apple has become what I hated with Microsoft. It's demonstrated here that you're a source of income and no longer a valued customer.

Andy Vale

Tatum was great. She helped me pick out the perfect device for my needs. I was very satisfied with my visit.

Mike Risher

I needed to get an estimate for a common problem - a key on my Probook keyboard wasn't working. Over the phone they told me to get an exact estimate they'd need to run a diagnostic on the computer and I should bring it in. I called the Pioneer Place store to confirm that I'd need to bring it in to get a diagnostic run. I brought it in early for my appointment, as requested. 20 minutes after my appointment time they finally got around to helping me. Without running a diagnostic or even looking at it they told me it'd be $575 and there was no point running a diagnostic. Whoever answers their phones needs training and the whole process is a huge waste of time. Will try to avoid dealing with this location in the future.

Nicholas Viers

When we are in the throes of a post-plus-4-degrees Celsius world, Apple stores like the one I visited here, at Pioneer Place, will be death cages for those many vagrants migrating inward from the ever-sinking coasts. The heat in mid-July will be stagnant and unbearable. The new house-less will see this abandoned glass bastion thinking "I can at least rest here in the shade." However, as they open the doors the greenhouse effect that are these glass cages will be made obvious to those seeking shelter. Our vagrant friend, Harold, thinks to himself "do I burn in the noon sun or do I risk resting in this hot box for just some time?" Harold will undoubtedly be lulled to sleep by the overwhelming heat and his lungs pull in hot air with each breath he will begin his shuffle off this mortal coil. If Harold is unlucky, he will awake shortly before his death and realize that all those bodies on the floor around him aren't just other poor souls who have lost their coastal homes like himself aren't just resting--they're dead! And soon he will be dead too. Also, these stores worked better when Apple's brand wasn't so overwhelmingly popular. These Apple Boxes need a major overhaul.

Charles Johnson

When novice or not so specialist employees speak with me, they seem quite willing to find a more knowledgeable person, not wasting my time with empty talk when genius specialist is needed. But for the most part every employee is very fluent and informative when discussing Apple issues/concerns/products in English.

Leif Woodford

Once you’re actually speaking with someone they’re very helpful, but it’s a zoo inside—and it doesn’t seem to make a difference whether you’ve made an appointment or not. Understaffed and under-organized.

George Kyrke-Smith

Incredibly friendly staff - one of the more impressive Apple stores.

Brandi Kenny

I am an android user myself but my son insists on using iPhone so when his iPhone 7 got fried from an automatic update we went there and they sent it off for repairs plus gave us a loaner phone for the week. Today we picked it up and they replaced his motherboard, put in a new battery and since his screen was damaged while being repaired they replaced that too plus a 90 day warranty. All done for free even though we bought it at bestbuy refurbished a long time ago so there was no warranty or anything to begin with. We basically got a bran new phone for free. I'm very impressed with how Apple treats their customers because Android wouldn't do this for free I'm sure.

Denise Rose

Drew was great, stayed late to help us choose a new I Pad to replace hubby's 10 year old antique!

Mfamily Shared

My favorite Apple Store.. always got quick attention from store sales people and complete the transaction quickly.

Ollie Case

Very low prices, with intuitive products. Staff was friendly and helpful. They definitely get 5/5 stars. Google is a terrible company.

Amanda S

I just love looking in thru the giant glass windows :)

Whitney the one & only

I'm not an Apple user, too rich for my blood. This place is fun to visit however, as the Apple devotees are interesting to observe. Large & long tables are placed all the way across showroom for customers to try out potential purchases, or huddle with Apple clerks to look at devices. The products are clearly visible on back wall, to try out & get a real "hands-on" feel. It's nice to have that option before buying something that expensive. Apple users are extremely brand loyal & this place is one of the reasons why. It's like a playground for Apple customers.

Matt Fife

Setting an appointment used to mean you saw someone when scheduled. The last 3 times, with scheduled appointments, I have had to wait anywhere from a minimum 30 minutes to 1 HOUR before someone called my name. Why schedule appointments if you never keep them? Terrible service from a company that charges top dollar and claims to be better. This will likely be my last iPhone.

Kate Buccarelli

This store is a mad house and it’s pretty hard to figure out where you’re supposed to go to deal with anything. No signs pointing you in the right direction and no obvious counter to ask for help. On the other hand, the employees don’t seem to mind if you interrupt them for a quick second so they can check you in. Nonetheless, they carry every apple product that you could ever want and they do repairs in store in around an hour.

PEYTON

This place is always slammed, but they try. Would I be happier if they used some of their trillion-dollar value on Zappos-like Customer Service? Absolutely. However, it's tech. Lots go wrong. Overall, the product is mostly good and most the employees try hard. Now I wouldn't call the Support team "geniuses" (weird branding), but they do what they can, and the training seems solid. For an elite brand (with elite pricing) the are relatively down to earth. I can appreciate that. In order of preference for the Portland area, I like Bridgeport for convenience (but not for service), Pioneer Place overall, and Washington Square Mall (Tigard).

LMB ZX

Went there to buy a new iPhone Xs. In the past someone would greet you and put you on the list for the next available salesperson. Not this time. I walked in and waited. After a few minutes I tried to make eye contact with the employees as they walked by. No luck, no help, so after 5 minutes of waiting, I left. This happened Monday at 1pm. They were busy but no busier than previous times

Jim Abeles

Pretty good service and sales experience despite the crowds.

Kimba Arivaderci

Service people weren’t too knowledgeable on the slightly older 7 iPad version. Got cleared through online service

Kelly Roberts

Staff was very pleasant and I was helped quickly and efficiently. The atmosphere of the store is a happy one and I would definitely return to buy more electronics and accesories.

Shannon Rhoads

My MacBook was too old to fix. A replacement would be too expensive. They still tried to help me.

Aleksey Kramer

Good apple store. I liked it more than the one in Tukwila.

Zara Altair

Super helpful staff. All as promised for battery replacement o Macbook Pro.

Shalandra Vogt

It's a good company to have electronics for important stuff.

Brad Ricker

I went in with a major laptop problem- screen was flickering and it looked like a bad graphics card. They were very helpful setting up a return and repair, but found the source of the problem instead. A screw had come loose and was putting pressure on the case by being jammed between a clear protective hard shell and the aluminum. Weird, but problem solved. They were super helpful on pricing a new laptop too. Go there! Make a reservation first though- they get very busy almost every day. Big place.

Brianne Jensen

Wanted to publicly thank Greg, a store manager, for helping me with my watch purchase tonight. You were so friendly even though it was the end of the day, and despite an error on my part with my order you sorted it out quickly. An apple purchase is sort of event that you want to be special, and I will remember your kindness -Brianne

Donna Settje

I went in because my phone suddenly stopped charging and would not turn on. They assisted us quickly, even though they were busy and I was a walk in. They got me a loaner phone, as well as ordered a new one for me. They were all very nice and patient.

R. Waite

Downtown storand closest to me from Milwaukie OR.... DowntownCrazy Busy-usy! Very large store for service & support as well as selling stations.. . it took me waiting for 3 hrs to get reset & IPhone software update assistance Overall its the only facility for the above help with minimal assistance

richard kalu

Yummy goodness! Lots of flavors to pick from

Luis Tiu

I was on the line to order a phone, I was called and then this dude cut it front of me while I was talking to the customer service and she started taking his transaction. .then I ask..what happen? oh he was here ..I said were ??? this guy was invisible man,, he wasn't here for the last 15min..I've ask for manager and she did not even pick up her radio to call. Lousy and improperly trained ,for 1hour she a apple sales lady..

Peg Kenaga

Recently my i-phone 5s locked up when it was unable to download an update. I spent time on the phone with tech support, but we finally got an error report that indicated there was a hardware problem, and I would need to go downtown to see if they could help me by using their computer setup. I made notes of what tech support and I had done, that my i-tunes and windows programs were up to date, etc. I took MAX to avoid paying for parking. Easy walk from my stop. I had an appointment and arrived a good 10 minutes early, and waited another 10 minutes. Tyler is the man I worked with and he was fantastic. He was very patient and explained everything we were trying. When the download could not load thru their system, it was apparent it was my phone. We did a full restore, and my phone is working again. I was there a total one hour. Of course I lost everything that I had stored on my phone, so I am adding back in contact info. Fortunately, I had recently uploaded my photos to my computer. A few other things were lost and cannot be retrieved. My fault that I had not made a backup to i-tunes or the cloud. All in all, I was glad not to need a newer phone - old school here, I already have more phone than I need. Again, I was so pleased to work with Tyler.

Chris

The service at this store is really bad. It is not uncommon to walk in and have employees ignore you while they chat and laugh together. If they ever do turn their attention to potential customers, they help people in a random order, not the order they're in line or the order they came in. If you need service, I strongly recommend touching base with Apple online or by phone as the store itself seems be focused on self service, if there is such a thing.

Stooiez

Although this is probably the busiest Apple store ever, the staff are helpful usually. Liam is great. Resolved an issue with a defect on my iPad ez Pz. I have to come back a week later to pick up the replacement iPad, but Liam made the process less stressful.

Tara Krishnan

Great customer service! Chase helped me on the floor today and I left with my iPad working!

Angel Ponce

I was promptly approached by an Apple Associate and signed in for my appointment, the technician was very helpful and polite and solved the issue with my Daughter's iPhone.

--An accident for Apple store pickup I ordered two iPhones online and set pickup location in Portland and asked my friend to pick them up. When my friend arrived at the store, the employee in the store said iPhones are already picked up by the person with the same name on the government issued ID. Obviously, someone falsely picked my devices. I contacted Apple customer service and they said that they need to do investigation. However, several days after, there is no response so I contacted again. They said they have nothing to do and advice me calling the police. Excuse me. Your store lost my iPhones but I have the responsibility to call the police? Here are several points I am extremely unsatisfied with Apple customer service. 1. Their verification process is obviously not sound. They just verify the name but there are many person with the same name across United States. 2. After that bad person picked up the devices, there is no notification, neither email nor text. 3. They insisted not providing me the receipt that bad person signed for pickup. Who knows if the pickup actually happened or there is just a system error? 4. This order worth nearly $2000. Does their process actually cares customers’ money? 5. I contacted the customer service three times after I got this trouble. The first employee asked me to contact the App Store on Portland. The second employee asked me to wait for their investigation. The third employee asked me to call police. Their responses are even not consistent so obviously Apple does not have a solution to such accident. 6. They simply shifted the responsibility on to the customer even if customer has no control over the whole process. Waste customers’ time and money and still make money from customer. This is not the first time I have such bad experience in Apple but it will be the last. No Apple any more!

Common Sense

Arrived for an evening appoint for a screen repair. After waiting 20 minutes, I was informed that they didn't have time to complete the repair. This is a Seinfeld episode. It is easy to take the appointment, the key is to HOLD the appointment. Total waste of time. Costed me two hours and $18 for travel time, wait time, and expenses. Compensation: a sorry and another appointment. Terrible service. They could have made it right, but chose not to.

They fixed my laptop in approximately 5 min. Seriously they are awesome!

Jamie Tidwell-Garratt

Big bright beautiful store. Service was warm, nice, and timely. I went in to have my port cleaned cause I couldn’t quite get it myself and they were very nice about it.

I just drove by,, appeared crowded but lonely, looked like the med line at the nut house, looked like the place Waldo is always hiding out at. Everyone was indulged with conversation, though, no one was moving there lips, just their fingers. It looked like a church revival, crowd of dummies and one sheep herder. There was a punch bowl.

Maury Mairs

A terrible situation. After driving through downtown Portland, this Apple store is closed.

Abdulmohsen Alfaran

Excellent place to shop Apple brand

Kenneth Nielsen

First class service. Very happy with Apple products.

Adam Carney

Neat store. Really helpful and friendly staff. It's the kinda place I'd want to go if I were going to drop $1000+ on new tech in one trip.

mowglisid mowglisid

Much tech, Lot windows, Very busy.

Samuel Huggins

Amazing...Samsung,Android, Are nothing compared to apple.

Achanta Ramakrishna

Never been an Apple fan because of a) cost b) how they try to control how I communicate and c) how their business model forces you to upgrade... but i was at the store to get a new battery for an old iphone which i received from my kin. I plan to use it to make and receive calls. Period.

Jon Fong

Crowded but organized, friendly service. Knowledgeable, offering least expensive solutions.

HK Kahng

A massive glass terrarium temple devoted to the Cult of Apple. I've had nothing but excellent interactions with the staff who have been helpful, patient, and informative.

abhijit pasupuleti

Most dazzling Apple store I have ever seen, it looks like they are selling the idea of people using Apple along with actual Apple phones, you will enjoy the store as much as you enjoy shopping here, store has fast separate pickup line. Fun fact they have a delivery app for an pickup i.e. they scan your order sign you in , someone else goes delivery's your order to you. Epic.

Aimee Sukol

Difficult to navigate, sold me a MacBook when an Air or Pro would've been more sensible. No one picks up the phone. 3 computer probs in 13 mos (my 2nd MacBook). This store makes me feel like going back to PC's.

Joshua Clark

I used to be a fan of Apple. The products are well made, and I am a huge fan if them. The one time I went into the store I made sure to setup an Appt with the genius bar online before hand. I was there 20 mins prior, so I watched the screen and waited for my name to be called. It was a madhouse so I was glad I made the appt. 25 minutes passed and I was told when I asked about my appt that they had called my name and moved on. (I was right in front of the counter the whole time and heard nothing) I was told that since I was now 5 minutes late I would have to make another appt for an hour later and wait. No exceptions. I did, but due to their lack of understanding and unwillingness to make an exception for what was clearly not my fault ensured my never returning.

youngheon Kim

Dear, Apple. One of your employee needs to be trained how to take care of customers. Customers go there to spend money for you guys, and they expect that much service from your device and employee too; however, I had the worst experience with your employee. I went there to buy my wife's birthday gift with her. I was so happy at first, but when I decided to purchase mac pro, one of your employee helped me with annoying attitude. I don't want to spend my money to experience the worst customer service. She ruined my, and my wife's birthday.

Rachel Thompson

Took awhile to be seen even with an appointment but they were quick to diagnose and get us a new phone!

Tyfly 85

Such a unique location for an Apple store also the glass windows make for a whole other experience in itself. Staff is always friendly, super clean building and they have a kids table in case you might have to bring your kids which is awesome. Also I’ve always had super fast service at this location would definitely recommend. P.S. make an appointment first if you need service.

John Nettleton

They treat you like family!

Felix M

Excellent customer service. Always helpful

Tyrel Johnson

I dont use apple products, but my friends do. This place is so busy. It feels like insanity going in here. Once a staff member starts to help you it becomes very comfortable. People enjoy what they do here. It shows. Watching the transaction that happened while here, I was pleased with the whole experience.

GregoryD Emswiler

Staff seems more friendly and helpful . Didn't have the items I needed so recommended another store . Classes to familiarize you with phone and apps great . Worth a visit .

Thedarkgreenmarine

Terrible experience there both times I have gone, I have bad EarPods one side doesn’t work I saw told there is a 4 hour wait time and a $69 to get them replaced I’ve had them less than a year. There are multiple employees standing around not helping people, when I finally flagged a guy down he talked about how he has the same issue and it’s water damage or dust damage which isn’t covered. I will not be an apple customer any longer due their shoddy customer service. I guess I will get a Samsung again.

Samuel Henderson

Worst customer service I ever experienced. I had an appointment and I ended up waiting over an hour because “they couldn’t find me in then store” then they scheduled me as a walk in instead of getting help right away. Only come to this store if you absolutely have to. Otherwise avoid at all costs.

lynn faller

Ipad issues led me here as I dealt with Apple online, which if I could review them on their online they would score a 10+. Non scripted customer service, wow, they know how to take care of you. We stopped by on Sunday with a 3 hour wait, we tried to hold out but the time was too long. Then went in on Monday, hoping to be the first but the doors when they opened but that was not the case. However we did get seen within 20 minutes of arriving to diagnose the battery issues with my ipad. However, the employee that assisted me was not the friendliest in the store...maybe not enough coffee, but had an attitude of not wanting to be there. Once they noticed, over time, I was not impressed by being quiet vs. talkative their attitude changed. Several time during the visit I just wanted to call the 800 number and get the attention and great service I experienced over the phone. But I held out, was given an option and proceeded forward as there was no fix for my battery. Just wish the in store experience was better as it was a drive and commitment to get there, park there, etc.

Denis Nosbisch

Very busy but the staff was very helpful

cyrian LB

The actual space is really design and clean the tables are just beautiful and, well the tech is good but I prefer OnePlus phone: less expensive, better performance and tech

Logan Bishopric

Beautiful store and quality services. The lines are often huge but the wait can be worth it with top of the line service from the Genius Bar and other staff.

Natasha Thurman-Jones

Best service ever! Went to get my husband's screen fixed on his Iphone and was excited that they were able to fix it the same day with it being a busy Saturday. In the past I would have to go to a Sprint store they take it and I would have to wait a week to get my phone back because they had to ship to an Apple store. I'm so glad I went to the Apple store. The store was popping too. There were a lot of educational classes going on. It was great. Felt like I was at an Apple party. God Job Apple employees. Oh and my phone was ready in about an hour. I just did some shopping around Pioneer Place while I waited. Totally convenient.

Michelle Green Johnson

I recently purchase my Iphone at the store. Excellent service and quick. I recommend!

Brian Lawson

I was recently in your store to get info on the new phones. The lady who helped me, Angel Marie, was the most informative and thorough person that I have spoken to in a long time. she knew everything there was to know about the 3 iterations of the 10 and asked questions to be sure she was giving me all the information I might need. Just an Excellent experience, and I have been buying Apple products for more than 20 years. Kudos to your most excellent employee Angel Marie!

Carl from Chicago

I shopped there and bought a new MacBook Air. There were a lot of folks at the store but it was pretty efficient they take your name and someone comes by and helps you in about 10-15 minutes if crowded. I know usually you just go to the counter and buy items but that’s not how it works with Apple. I also was able to use my Nike discount and since it is Oregon there was no sales tax which is great too.

Lena G

It gets super busy! But I experienced okay service over all. Problem wasn’t fixed but was okay.

Luke Russell

The "appointment" time was more than 45 minutes late. And then it turns out I had to talk to a service rep over the phone. Overpriced trash.

This store saved me and my phone! I love this store it’s where I for my phone. Samantha showed absolute care and concern for my issue. She went above and beyond for me as she understood my precious experience with a different store. Hannah J. The manager was amazing too. When I came back to pick up my phone Samantha was able to help me the rest of the way and I was so grateful! We connected and sometimes the universe brings amazing people together! Go Virgo’s hehe and ps ladies my daughter is fine hehe. Thank you for having the best people and service at this location. The ONLY Apple store I will go to.

Krishna & Shauna

The battery replacement option is a total farce. They opened it and said they found some corrosion from water so they couldn’t replace the battery. The phone works just fine except for being 3+ years old. Total BS.

Kevin Merz

I went to this Apple store to pick up a MacBook Air that I ordered online. The store was very crowded and it took a while to check in. Eventually though, I was able to get my laptop. If you ever want to purchase anything here, be sure to do it online and pick it up at the store. The experience will be much faster.

Anthony Yound

Always fast service. Employees are great! One employee even remembered me from my visit two weeks prior!

Michelle Haley

Nah fam. Even when you make an appointment you have you wait forever. It’s the coolest looking Apple Store in Portland, but your time is more valuable than this. I promise.

Val Pierce

Busy, children running around, and long wait times even with appointments. I miss the good old days when store reps weren’t trained to upscale. I know more about computers than the reps I have encountered and I had to wait why they figure out what I’d already told them. Buy online!

YD OC

Staff was BEYOND AMAZING! THANKS!

Christina Stanley Blair

Apple pioneer place is closed, yet,it is was place for student to learn.

Matthew Moore

This is an Apple store. It is suh-lammed from the time it opens to when it closes. If you are an Apple user, this store can do everything for you from rebuilding your cell phone battery to getting you a new laptop or desktop and has in stock just about everything you'll need!

Nick Marshall

Its a huge apple store. They have just about everything apple out for you to look at and purchase.

daryna

Been here multiple times as i am a daily apple user. Have had a couple issues starting with the Apple Watch. Watch had deep cracks on it that would have given cuts to anyone using the touchscreen, and they didn’t wanna replace it even though it had Apple Care+ on it. Bought a new iPhone XS. Battery capacity dropped by 3% after not even a month of usage. The battery overheats and I will say I am not a heavy user, about 3 hours a day. My brother bought the same phone and uses it for about 5 hours a day and his phone is 100% battery capacity. Apple worker said “I am a heavy user.” And that there is nothing he can do to fix my phone. Also said the battery usage between my phone and my brothers cannot be compared. He kept coming up with ways to get me to leave. Threw accusations of me using my phone while on charger, which I have never done. And also saying I overly use FaceTime. When I still have not used FaceTime. He told me to restart my phone. My battery still is overheating and it’s a brand new phone. Poor apple customer service.

Jelo Roc

In my experience customer service there is really poor, but I have the sneaky suspicion that the level of service might depend on the customer. Most Apple customers tend to look like they have money, because, well, Apple products are expensive. I am poor working class and look like it. If there's an Apple product I want I work hard and save up for it. The only time I've ever been helped in the Apple store is when it was near empty. If the store is busy, like it usually is, then I turn invisible. I've had employees look right past me to help someone standing behind me even though I was clearly there waiting for their help, and clearly was there first. My advice is to go to the store to play around with the products but buy them online or go to another retailer that carries Apple products.

Umar Faruk

Staff was very pleasant and I was helped quickly and efficiently. The atmosphere of the store is a happy one and I would definitely return to buy more electronics and accesories. I went in because my phone suddenly stopped charging and would not turn on. They assisted us quickly, even though they were busy and I was a walk in. They got me a loaner phone, as well as ordered a new one for me. They were all very nice and patient. Large store with floor to ceiling glass walls. The store is equipped with all Apple devices and there good number of employees to assist all the customers. As a non Apple person I will admit their retail environment is awesome. The staff know the product very well and are generally pretty cool.

furryfriendsadventures

This store is not what it use to be. Stays busy, but not the place for questions or looking around. Employees usually push you out the door pretty quickly if you don't know what you want or plan to buy the product the employee suggests. Crime in this area has gone up and security is a lot more present in the store. Almost an altercation every day between somebody upset with the store. Hours are not the best either. Store is well maintained and up to date. Management does a great job moving sales and keeping the place inviting to the public.

Andrea Moulding

If you must buy apple products, go anywhere else or order online. The store is run by children. Waited 15 minutes for a "specialist" to tell me they were out of what I needed, I came in because their website said they had it at that location. No point in arguing once you have wasted your time.

April-Kay Williams

My touchscreen wasn’t responding on my iPhone X. There was some sort of “event” in the back at the Apple Store where they fix the phones. Jacob went above and beyond to help me get my phone fixed. I am a business owner and a mom, everything is run off of my phone. (Payroll, play dates, etc) Without his help I would have been without a phone for over a week. :-O He was funny and caring, updated me through the whole process. I would have been screwed had he not stepped up! Thank you.

Shelby Collins

I purchased my Iphone 8 from here and it was great. Bought it online, picked it up in the store. The store is gorgeous, very very appealing to my clean and organized nature. The staff were helpful even for being super busy. I came back a few months after I had purchased because I was having troubleshooting problems, they helped me and I was on my way. I purchased the Apple Protection plan though so even if my phone stopped working, I knew I would be ok.
