My daughter bought a refurbished iPhone 4 at the AT&T store online, however the speaker didn't work. The Apple store at Bridgeport Village was able to replace the iPhone 4 at no cost. Thank you Apple for having a wonderful return policy, even though we bought the phone from AT&T online. Emily helped us at the Genius Bar and she was kind and professional.

This Apple store provided me with some of the worst customer service I have EVER had at an Apple store. I took in my iPhone that was well within warranty because the front speaker (receiver) crapped out after just 8 months of owning the phone. When I finally got to talk to the Apple "genius" he told me that the speaker passed their diagnostic test despite the fact that the speaker was obviously not working. He then tried to argue that I was the one who broke the speaker and refused to repair the phone for free (remember it's under warranty). It offended me beyond belief when he pulled a second representative, and BOTH representatives at this store tried to convince me that I was the one who broke the speaker. I took the iPhone to Washington Square less than 24 hours later, and they fixed my phone for free as it was still under warranty. Not only that, but the representative ran the test and found that the speaker was failing the test AND he agreed that it wasn't working. TL;DR This location has TERRIBLE customer service. Go to any other Apple store if you want to be treated as a valued customer. I will be calling corporate to complain as this store wasted a good couple hours of my time arguing with me for no reason.

Bought earpods and immediately returned them because of the incessant crackling in my ears.

This stores webpage is really poorly made. Can’t log in, then I can log in but then I need to enter a verification code. Then after I enter code I get a new message with big ERROR message. All I want is to register for a simple class. Talked with live chat, that was a big joke. They told me they felt excited for me! WT?. I was chatting with a woman and didn’t respond quickly enough & then I got a man saying I had been disconnected from previous rep due to Inactivity. I was typing for gawd sakes.

Elizabeth Waters

Always good service. They always take care of my problems with phone, iPad or laptop. They all are very knowledgeable and professional.

Jennifer Waldroup

Good service they were patient with us and quick service that day

WORST Apple purchase experience I ever had. It was the last day of my trip to Oregon. I ordered online and choose the pick up the new iPhone Xs in store between 1:30 — 2:00pm. I arrived in store on time but was told my order is review and won’t let my pick it up until the review is done. And they don’t know when it would be. I waited 2 hours and the order was still not ready...... But I still got 6 hours drive back home... Keep in mind, Apple store ONLY allow same day orders. There was no way people can order in advance. If they can’t process the order in time. What’s the point of asking customers to choose pick up time??? I was also told the review may take up to time 24 hours and I may not be able to until next day... I mean, Apple call this SAME DAY order and pick up..... My advice to Apple. DON’T promise things you cannot deliver... BTW, I also called apple online store. They just kept saying there nothing they can do. They just asked me to wait.... I mean the phone it already physically in store . They just didn’t give to me. I told them my 6 hours drive back home try to ask for an exception. They didn’t even bother...just asked me to wait.

We had to stop by and take a look. The information and service was Outstanding ! These guys know apple products well. My wife had an issue with her apple phone, about 20 minutes later all fixed no charge, on the way we went. If you need any information from a person to person contact, this is the place to be. Great work guys !!

I had the worst retail experience of my life yesterday. Absolutely embarrassing on your part. Went in and was supposed to get one-on-one setup help, what ensued was a total waste of 40 minutes for something that was supposed to take 15, I was told. I was shuffled of to a table in the back with one apple employee that was already helping 3 people. The spot I was told to wait at was taken by a group of kids, I had to ask them to leave- why would I have to do that? Then the employee that was supposed to do the setup couldn’t be bothered, thus me and my friend having to use our fingernails to get the plastic wrap off my MacBook Pro- again, why would the customer have to resort to that? I asked her if she was the one that was supposed to assist me and she said yeah, then about 30 seconds later I wanted her help again because the Mac wouldn’t turn on. After waiting more than a minute she finally tried for a while to turn it on which didn’t happen so she went to get a power cord. I waited while it charged until the setup menu appeared. This is where I needed help the most and even told her at the beginning that I mainly needed her help for this part because I didn’t want to get locked out of my ITunes for 90 days and a few other concerns. She once again was helping another customer with a deleted email and I was made to wait until they were done talking. At this point I asked another employee that wasn’t doing anything for help- I had to do this 3 separate times to get the help I was supposed to receive. I made my displeasure with the situation known from the start. I don’t get why this happened and why there were so many employees not doing anything when needed help. Besides all of that, the main person to ‘help’ me, she was NOT knowledge about a single question I had. I had a lot about the the difference between my new and old computer and the new features. In all, I was extremely let down and this was a terrible experience. I wish the Apple store downtown Portland wasn’t closed because this hassle could've been avoided. Next time I’ll second guess where to blindly shop.

Super crowded and all associates were busy when my friend and I walked in. When an associate was free they immediately went to my friend to ask if they needed help. I was on an iPad and another associate showed me a few tricks. Best service I've received at an apple store

Danny Wright

Great place

Genuinely interested in the building and the surrounding areas.

The Apple "Genius" who helped me recommended buying a new laptop in order to update my phone. He repeatedly treated me like a second class citizen for having particular computing needs and insisted I should use my computer in the way that he thought was best. My Mac and iPhone iTunes were out of sync because I was waiting on an OS upgrade until I had a new desktop computer set up. I rely on my computer for work, so I find it's generally good to have one working computer at all times. Sure enough, the OS upgrade to my Mac that was required to use my iPhone broke all of the software on my computer. It will take me hours of work over several weeks at a time when I can't afford it to find everything that is broken and reinstall everything. Apple's terrible support for legacy software and their push to fit everyone into a tiny usage box is infuriating.

My sister's phone needed repairs. Ben and other employees helped to solve the issue. Big thanks to Evelyn for her friendliness and exceptional customer service. I had good time!

Compared to the pioneer square location, this location just doesn’t have the typical Apple care feeling. I have set appointments here a couple times and I typically end up with the same result. Mistakes! This last instance I sat around for 25 minutes after arriving for an appointment and eventually asked when I would be taken care of. The response, “oops, looks like we misplaced you on the list but we will put you on top now.” I waited another 10 minutes only to be casually told, we can’t fix your problem, just replace it. Very little finesse with customers and a lot of hanging out and casual employees. I will use pioneer square next time

Berger Meyer

I completely disagree with lower than a 5 star rating for this Apple store. The manager's and staff assisted me graciously and professionally when resolving the issue with my iPhone. I expected a fight walking in the door per "others" reviews and I had a fantastic experience. Apple you won me over, touche sir, touche! Tips: People book an appt, and have realistic expectations. A satisfied customer and Combat Veteran

I came in on February 12th because my phone lost cell service due to their recent update. The girl that was helping me was awful. Not only did I lose cell service for a day and a half trying to figure out what the heck happened to my phone, but then I lost 2 (4 in total by the time it was done) hours of pay having to take my phone there to have them fix it. I wasn’t upset about it until she told me that it would need to be shipped somewhere to be “repaired” and that I would be given a loaner phone. I asked if they are going to ship my phone back to me and she said “no, you’ll need to come back and pick it up”. At that point, I asked if there would be any compensation for my time and travel for their issue. She automatically got bug-eyed and said “No, we’re fixing it for you...” and I said “Well rightfully so as it wasn’t my fault, so I should be compensated for my time and travel”. Then she got shaky and said in an aggressive tone “if you mention compensation one more time, I’m going to get a manager.” At that point, I was honestly intimidated. Normally, I don’t mind speaking with anyone’s manager if I feel like i’m Being treated unfairly but she legit scared me into not wanting to ask a manger if there was anything they could do. I’m not sure if that is something they teach their employees or not, but she was so rude and weirdly creepy for responding the way she did. When I came back on the 25th to pick up my phone, I had a much more pleasant experience. When the man was taking my phone out of the box I noticed that my glass screen protector was taken off. I asked if they plan on replacing it since it isn’t exactly cheap. He said “Well he have some for purchase.” I told him that I definitely would not be buying another one when I had one on there when I left it with them.” He then explained that they have to take the protector off when they do their “repair” and kindly asked if I would like to speak with a manager about having that replaced. I replied that I most definitely would. They automatically approved it being replaced at no cost and they put it on for me and I left. Both times I felt justified to speak with a manager, and only one time did I feel like I was treated with respect and actually given the option to speak with one. The 3 stars are for the average of both experiences. My second experience was great. My first, not so much. That girl is going to end up being an aggressive car salesman. I can see it in her future.

Archit Datta

5 stars to Stan A great sales person with a nice humor. It was very nice to interact with him. Helped us to checkout pretty quick and easily. If you wanna know why these ratings and the comments, try buying a device from him and you’ll enjoy that :) Great work by Apple!!

Marsha R

Very busy location I went as a walkin with my husband to trade out his phone. The wait for a technician was about an hour. They took are number and texted us when it was are turn

Jean Goodwin

Great customer service. Device I got was a little more than wanted to spend.

Linda Day

Riley was excellent, very knowledgable!

Samuel Huggins

EMMA was awesome. And her blue hair was really cool

Cristian Strava

Horrible customer service, you have to wait so much until somebody is taking care you. Had appointment for 4:55 and , got early 4:30 and let them now I am here, it past 4:55 and nobody is coming to take the problem with my Apple Watch. It got to 5:05 until finally somebody come.

David Champion

That legendary Apple customer service experience was entirely missing today at Bridgeport Village. Greeted then forgotten.

Virginia Sears

A great place lots of shops

Patri C

TERRIBLE customer service. Ordered a phone online so I wouldn't have to wait cuz I'm on crutches. I was at the store 2hrs after placing the order and waited at the store for 1 hr and still couldn't get the iphone. Turns out the online Apple store and physical store are not 2 separate stores and I was supposed to wait for an email to be able to pick up my order. The store mgr said she couldn't do anything abt it, which seemed kind of odd because they had the iphone I ordered and paid for in stock. In any case, I had to purchase another $1100 iphone so I wouldn't have to come back. I received the email 5 hrs after placing the order. Ridiculous! Then had to call Apple customer service to cancel the order so I could get my refund. WHAT A HASSLE !!! NEVER order at the online AppleStore and AVOID going to the brick&mortar AppleStores.

Returned a 2500 macbook pro and the guy walked away leaving me with the laptop. Uhh if there weren't serious consequences........I would have kept it.

Sam S

The salesman assigned to me went to assist another customer without assigned salesman. He let me wait for him for 10 minutes.

Jim Ferriss

Wow, The Apple store is very busy place and the tech people are wonderful and the best I have worked with to solve a problem.I would give 10 stars.

alex ayala

Worst customer service I've had in a really, really long time. Don't come here unless you want to have that used car salesmen treatment. Passive aggressive employees, slime ball sales tactics. Worst part about it, is this store doesn't give a rip if you're dissatisfied. I'll never return here again. I’ll go to Best Buy, or my carrier instead. Read some of the reviews left by customers at the Bridgeport store. I feel like most all of the people who have left reviews here. Dissatisfied!

Manuel Gonzales

Amazingly enough with all the people in the store they still treat you with respect and professionalism that you would expect from Apple employees all in a timely manner

Nick Long

Manager at this store helped me handle a tricky situation with a return item and was very accommodating. The specialist I worked with was really helpful and nice too.

Lucas Kerper

Read some at the local cafe, had some tacos, then walked over to the Bridgeport village. There were people out walking and jogging. I snapped a few photos, took a look at the movie showtimes, and I went into Dennis's 7 Dee's instead. There were tons of indoor plants for sale! I bought a small indoor Coffee Plant and a small Pathos vine-like plant. I am hoping that the piano will eventually return to Bridgeport Village, but untill then it is still a very nice place to get out and get some walking in.

Brendan Clark

Had a great experience here: I took my older computer in because it wouldn't boot - they ran a quick test, sent it in, and got it fixed without any cost to me. I did see some people having a harder time and some reviews point toward that too. This is typical for this kind of store - too many employees for a fluid experience.

Brooklin_Chan

I attempted to call this store 2 times in a row. After being told to hold for the next available Rep and holding for a long time I was disconnected both times. I just read the other reviews after posting mine and see it's not just me but the high volume of 1 star ratings indicate this Apple store has no customer service at all they just don't seem to care. Why would Apple continue to employ a staff with such low ratings.

Luuk Pessers

Employees are very friendly and helpful. The wait times here aren't as bad as at the Apple Store in downtown Portland.

Durran Champie

First, Apple isn't for me. I'm not a fan, I dislike their eco system, etc. etc. What I will say though is that when my girlfriend had an issues with her iPhone X it was handled in a way that was quick, professional, and was an overall good experience even though she had to get a whole new phone (under warranty). The biggest complain was the wait. It took a full hour to just be seen by a Genius Bar staff member. Once we were seen it was 10 minutes to tell her system board had failed and for them to get her a new phone. Can't give it stars for that, but it wasn't an overall horrible experience.

Tom Warner

Walked in and was immediately helped. Pointed me to the back to an employee waiting to help me with what i needed. Friendly staff made the visit enjoyable.

Isaiah Sommerlot

Apple Stores are always a clean, well kept environment with good product availability as well as product access. At the time that I was there, they didn't have the newest MacBook Pro on display unfortunately (with touch bar). This was slightly disappointing. However, my colleagues and I were helped right away with no delay. The process involving the repair in which we were there for was a little longer than we had hoped, but that is to be expected on a Saturday morning.

David Dodson

I've spent over 30 minutes trying to set up an in-store appointment and the apple website is absolutely useless. I've had better luck at the DMV.

Linda Radecki

The Genius Bar is great!! I can't say enough good things about it. They spent over an hour with me yesterday helping fix an operating system problem. Thank you Genius Guys!

Marius Mocan

They could not find my appointment for a cracked screen replacement and are making me wait 30 minutes for them to just take my phone for repair. I showed them the confirmation email and they didn't care. The store is practically empty, yet they make me wait. Freakin BS! I'll hit up a mom and pop screen repair service next time or just do it myself. Not worth the hassle of dealing with Apple's bad service.

Juan Martinez

Bad customer service I had scheduled a appointment and still waited almost 2 hours to get help.

Brad Burke

This store is continually booked more than two weeks out. They are extremely understaffed and short with customers. They suggested I drive more than 2 hours away to get my computer batter fixed and that the fix would cost me (even though their previous fix only lasted 9 months). I miss the days of having a pleasant experience with Apple, but between poor customer service and planned obsolescence, apple has become nearly as stressful to deal with as comcast.

Khalid Qirem

The same experience with amazing service

Pablo Barrera

poor organization. Use any apple store but this one, same person diffrent review :)

Issey Sandoval

It's an awesome place

Dr. Christine Ortner

The screen on my phone starting lifting off. I didn't drop it or bend it. When I first checked in one of the employees said he has seen this a few times. My warranty expired only 4 days ago and it would have been covered. So it cost $109 to replace the display and they would not do it under warranty. Only 4 days! I have bent rules like this for my clients many times.

PoisonDart Productions

We spent a solid 3 hours at the Apple store troubleshooting and working through an iPad problem. They were very patient and helpful as they helped us trouble shoot our extremely difficult troubleshoot. Even as we roamed the store while waiting, they answered all my questions that I tried to stump them with.

Sue Chhay

Worst customer service experience in my life. Apple has gone down. Not pleased at all.

Nicoco Carter

Everyone complaining about service and time are just arrogant. Apple is one of the most popular devices in the world of course they’ll be busy so don’t expect to show up and get service ASAP they do the best they can with the amount of customers (mainly unhappy rude customers as well) I was waiting for 40 minutes and went up to my boy ( I believe his name was max) and told him I was worried I didn’t sign in properly and he felt AWFUL helped me right away and was so kind and funny. Fixed my phone right away and showed me a support app to help me trouble shoot my phone problems if I didn’t want to come in. Respect these workers they have a very fast pace and demanding job and they do it well.

William Andersen

Very clean, well organized, friendly staff. Although busy, the store is adequately staffed so that the wait is a very short one. No pressure on sales... staff seems to be 'Customer Service specialists' rather than salespeople.

Derrick Albiston

This location has one of the worst store managers. After setting up an appointment (3 days ago) to have the defective battery replaced (Apple recall). When i arrived I was informed they didn't have any batteries and I would have to setup a new appointment and come back in 2 weeks. Frustrated I requested a replacement phone. The manager refused my request so I asked to speak to another manager and he threatened to "remove" me from the store. When I asked quietly & calmly another two more times he repeated he would remove me from the store if I didn't "calm down" - at this point he was the one making an embarrassing scene. Finally after a prolonged staring contest a second manager came out. Although nice, he still didn't resolve the recall issue and replace my phone. I was told it was a month past warranty (which didn't make sense because this was a recall for a defective battery and the phone wasn't working). Got home, called Apple Care and they are sending me a free replacement overnight! This store manager was a mocking unprofessional, unpleasant individual. Though no one will ever care - especially Apple, this store manager or you - I will never shop at the Bridgeport location again.

Katie Walker

I came in tonight knowing exactly which computer I wanted to buy, but still left empty-handed. We waited forever and not a single employee even acknowledged us. My husband finally went up and asked for help, and was told we should have put our name on a waitlist when we came in. He put our name on the list, but after waiting a while longer we gave up and left. We’ll go to a different apple store. I’ve never had this experience in an apple store before. Usually everyone is very helpful.

Caleb Fung

Place lies to you and won’t honor warranties!

kate howard

Very helpful. Really pleasant and quickly answers and fixes my problem promptly.

Ammas Tanveer

Terrible wait time

TheHenryFordFTW .

Service at this store just keeps getting worse and worse. You go in to speak to someone in person and every time they say they can’t help me and have me call their 1 800 number. Terrible customer service that isn’t improving.

Roy Lowe

I visited this store 2 days after Christmas to exchange a gifted Apple Watch Series 3 for a Series 4. The mall was crazy busy and it took awhile just to find a parking place. I knew the Apple Store would be jammed and it was. I had to wait a few minutes to explain why I was there and I was told the waiting time would be about 25-30 minutes, which in my experiences is about as short as it gets at an Apple Store. After waiting about 10 minutes a sales person came up to identify me and said I would be helped soon. 2-3 minutes later I was being helped so the wait was just under 15 minutes! I was pleasantly surprised. The exchange went very smoothly and a technician helped me get the watch paired to my phone and up and running. A great experience for me especially after driving for 2 1/2 hours to get there!

Kristin Lieberman

I don’t know what’s going on with this store but Apple Corporate ought to look in on it. I am a stockholder and a multiple device owner and I genuinely care about Apple’s customer service and reputation. I bought a computer in this store today and one of their salesmen flat-out lied to me. If I could give this store zero stars I would. All of the rest of the one star reviews are true.

Tim Tang

Came to buy 3 phones for work (app development) from Seattle. 1. Arrive at apple store in downtown Portland, just tell them I wanna buy some phones, they say sure just order on a computer for pickup at the store, they should have some in stock. They don't. 2. Apple employee helps me set pickup at location 20 minutes away (Bridgeport) because they have pickup available. Have to set a pickup time 3 hours later. 3. Arrive 15 minutes before pickup time just in case, talk to Apple employee. They ask for my name and tell me to hang out and someone will find me when they're ready. Approx. 20 minute wait though. So I sit down near the front. 4. 35 minutes later, no one has talked to me so I find the same customer service person and ask how much longer. They tell me they couldn't find me even though I didn't move... So 10 more minutes and they find me to talk to me. They tell me my order isn't ready for pickup and I have to call apple customer support. No one in the store is empowered to fulfill the order, the phone reps have more power than them. 5. Call apple support and they say I have to wait another 4-6 hours before it'll go through the system and allow them to give me my order. I finally convince them to ship it to Seattle after another 10 minutes 6. Bonus: next day get an email saying my order would be cancelled if I didn't call them back (this part only took 5 minutes) ...And that's how you buy an iPhone. Just as a note, I'm 1-starring the Apple shopping experience, not the store or its employees. The employees should be empowered to help the customer, but instead they are powerless to the stupid system that Apple has created. Bonus update: As if the experience weren't bad enough... even though I paid before pick up, because they changed the address to Seattle, they re-charged me for tax which defeats the purpose of me buying the iPhones from Portland in the first place. They never sent me an updated invoice so the charge came as a complete surprise and made it extremely hard for me to expense at work (since I had the wrong invoice). My only option was to do a credit card charge back with the actual invoice I received. I then received a letter from my credit card company with Apple's rebuttal on the dispute with provable lies; the most blatant lie being that they claimed I purchased from Seattle IP (impossible since the customer service guy purchased at store through their computer in Portland). Get your stuff together, Apple. Not only am I never making an Apple purchase again, but I'm going to be swaying friends and family away from Apple products. This is unacceptable.

saul orozco

The associates are very attentive. Even on a weekend I was able to get a technician to fix my computer in time to turn in school work!

Pamela Macready

Very prompt and knowledge staff. The customers were rude and self serving, show little regard for other customers. Maybe the staff needs to take charge of crowd control in the store?

Hannah Knutson

Horrible management. Disappointing considering I used to rank Apple (Bridgeport location specifically) very high in terms of customer service. Recently went in because my iPhone 7+ had stopped working. Had taken it in to a local tech specialist to find that it had a substantial amount of water inside. Very strange considering it is supposed to be water resistant up to 1 meter or for 30 minutes in lesser amounts. After speaking with several Apple reps, I was told to visit my local Genius Bar, where I was assured they would fix the problem. So I drove all the way from Corvallis to Tigard just to have a manager (female with short blonde hair) attempt to "sympathize" with me and tell me that the damage was likely due to manufacturer error, yet I am still responsible for paying for the damages??? She completely agreed that I was not at fault, but could not give me any explanation as to why I was still left with the reprocussions except for "that's our policy" and "I'm sorry this has happened to me too, I know how frustrating it is". As a longtime, loyal Apple customer I am extremely disappointed in the way I was treated and the situation was handled. Waste of my time and money, and quite frankly if Apple wants to keep their customers they ought to consider investing in some management and employees who actually care about them.

jarrod goodwin

Need my phone fixed. I live 4 hours from here but was town. Could not find an open appointment for anytime during the day I was there. Went in and could not get any assistance. The just kept trying to get me to go somewhere else (like bestbuy). My iphone x lasted 2 months before it started having issues and after visiting this store, I wish I had never bought an apple product.

Charleston Devereaux

Went in for standard support - needed to fix my phone. The staff was so rude and dismissive it almost made me, as a lifetime Mac user, drop everything and hit bestbuy for a whole new... well, everything. The products are fine, but the service at this specific location is so apathetic and almost disdainful that I would rather deal with PCs and Androids than give these people any of my business. They really need to step it up. If I can't get my stuff serviced somewhere with helpful and invested staff, I will outfit my office with products from somewhere else.

Lucy Alarid

Best customer service and problem solving team. A special thanks to these geniuses:. Bond, Nicole and teacher John.

Caitlin Hathaway

My phone had an obvious hardware problem within 90 days of purchase. I phoned in, chatted with someone, both referred me here. I take time off from work, get my kids in the car and show up to my appointment promptly. I then get told my two options for repair are to wait for five hours or bring it back another day, basically leaving me without a phone. Neither was an option due to the commute time it took plus I was unprepared with a newborn and a toddler to wait five plus hours in a retail store. I was then told I should’ve read my terms and conditions and that Apple is environmentally friendly. Never mind that I was conveniently talked into driving my non fuel efficient car to Apple and requested to come back again. Comes down to this, I’ve bought Apple products for almost decades now and never received such poor, uncaring service. This was the straw that broke the camels back. Like others I will not be back and this store was the cause. Looks like I’m not the only one according to all these reviews by other loyal Apple customers.

Herron Law

Great knowledgeable staff, but always too busy and crowded. You have to make an appointment to get your questions answered.

Rather Family

Very disappointed experience. Saw on line that there was a known problem with specific iPhone 7's. Model number matched too. Scheduled a repair appointment for a phone we were having a No Service issue. The person helping me did nothing other than physically look at the phone and told me we can send in for repairs. Warned me that if they found hidden damage that they wouldn't cover, but told me several times, he didn't see anything physically wrong with it so expected no problems. Apple notified me that the phone did not qualify for the warranty issue AND that they found minor damage. Bridgeport associate had made comments of minor indentations on the back of the phone AFTER he told me he saw absolutely nothing wrong with it. Long story shorter, after talking to two levels within Apple Support we found that Bridgeports staff had not run a diagnostic on the phone at the store as they were supposed to. If they had, they would have found the problem was simply a bad SIM card, saving everyone a lot of time and inconvenience.

Beverly

Great help from the person who told me about the iMacs.

Dinesh Rai

Nice store ..

Adriana Gallardo

If I could give this place a zero I would! I talked to someone about replacing a product and showed them why it needed to be replaced and THEY TOLD ME to make an appointment and they would REPLACE it. I made an appointment and went the next day (soonest they gave me an appointment) I they had me wait ONE HOUR just to tell me they couldn’t replace it because it didn’t qualify for a replacement!!!! Their worker the day before told me to make an apppointment because it did qualify and now it doesn’t? I took 2 hours out of my day for NOTHING. Thanks apple.

Conner Conaway

My 1:15 appointment was right on time, and the staff was so friendly and helpful! They were unable to fix my fried iPhone 7 thanks to my phone carrier. Anyways, great place! I will definitely go back if I have any future issues with my Apple devices. Just make an appointment! Super busy.

Horrid customer service

Treda McCaw

Stopped by the Apple store today with an old email address in use by my iCloud account and no idea of the password. Chuck helped me out and solved the problem. I am impressed with the number of people they have working in the store and that they cycle through our needs pretty quickly. Thanks for the help today!

Lisa Morlan

Very helpful staff! They were able to fix my screen 30 minutes before closing. Everyone is very knowledgeable

With an appointment I waited 15 minutes to be help and the on top of that it to the apple tech and admin 40 minutes to resolve my issue.

Sam Pete

Steve Jobs would be proud

Sang Shin

Employees are unfriendly, but they have no choice but to help you out. If you plan on returning an item, be prepared to be at the end of the queue. Obviously, your mileage may vary.

A.J. Mendoza

Set an appointment for my elderly mother to go in get her phone battery replaced. I feel like elderly people can often be brushed off or mistreated at electronics stores, especially at busy locations. However, she couldn’t say enough about how nicely she was treated today, and how the gentlemen who was assisting her kept checking in with her while her phone was updating to make sure she was ok. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that, except to say that hearing it brought a tear to my eye, and that your location has earned my and my family’s business for years to come.

ohroman .

I went to get a battery replacement for my phone and the tech guy wouldn't let me get one without him doing a check up when it wouldn't even charge. later I called Apple and they said I could get a battery replacement without doing the check up. I rate this a one star because the employee was lying to me and not giving me the service I needed. Apple, your reading this. I want my battery replacement.

Israel Aleman

Not a friendly staff at all, waited 15 min for a 5 second tablet signature. After I waited 20 min just to see someone. Bought a brand new iPhone XR and left not knowing how to use it completely. I wouldn’t recommend this apple store at all. Take a few minutes and drive to the apple store in downtown Portland. They are extremely friendly, very fast and efficient. Had I read these reviews before I visited this store, I would have never gone. But I figured all apple stores would be like the downtown Portland store. Im surprised that apple has let this store maintain a 3.5 rating. Anyhow, I wouldn’t waste your time at this apple store, you’ve been warned.

K Mathison

I guess... if you like apple

Cindy Barksdale

The absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with. They need all new employees and management. Someone needs to fix this immediately it’s a complete mess over there

Edwin Nunez

We had a really hard time picking a new product, i honestly when in there with the intention of not listening to the apple fan boys/girls. Luckly an angel from above showed up her name is whitney she helped my wife and my self, her customer service 10 out of 10 her abality to listen and ask follow up questions are amazing!!!!!!!!! You rock!!!! If you want a honest advice and to have a great experience with out having to feel pressure of buying anything the rep that i recommend is WHITNEY!!! THANK YOU!!! Be awesome!!!!

Jose M. Salgado

Modern conffy seating, IMAX, and many showings

David Gregory

It's a typical apple store. The place is packed, there are about 20+ people working there. Everything is priced like any other apple store. The people at the "genius bar" usually turn to Google to find answers.

david chau

Apple rep said my phone was ready. Sent me to the back of the store on the left side and had 3 people standing there. Didn’t say anything to me. Another customer walks by how can I help you today? Literally sitting right in front of a bigger set lady right now and she’s yet to say anything to me. Good stuff

Maureen Kurtz

Went to have my camera replaced on my IPhone 6 Plus because it was recalled. A diagnostic was done and indeed the camera needed to be replaced. I told the rep I had a $80 screen cover that my husband had gotten for me. I was told it would not need to come off since it was the camera that was being replaced. When I got my phone back I didn't check the screen. When I got home I went to use my phone and noticed the screen cover was gone. I immediately called and talked to an Apple representative. He called Bridgeport Village. Bottom line, he was told yes they have it and it is now broken. I could come and get it but they are not responsible for replacing it. I signed a release that they would not be responsible for any damages to accessories, even though I had asked about removing it BEFORE they took it! I was then told they do carry my screen cover at the store if I would like to purchase a new one. I would have thought replacing it or at least offer 50% off a new one would be appropriate if they were looking at good customer service. Bottom line is you can't get your recall camera fixed unless you release Apple of responsibility for damage. Guess my only recourse is to seek a small claims judgment.

Royce Burrows

Awesome visit... we were taken care of fast

Mario Mamone

Apple stores are always a lot of fun to browse through and see and play with the newest Apple electronics. Located in Bridgeport shopping center, this Apple store is large and roomy but it is always crowed with Apple lovers. They provide excellent service but if possible make an appointment or you will have a wait.

Karilee Reynolds

Apple Store at Bridgeport Village was awesome they offer a lot they talk to you one on one person to person they offer your classes if you want to take classes they’ll help you how to set up anything you need to set up for your Apple Watch your tablet your phone anything all the customer service people bear rock they are awesome thank you Bridgeport Village

Crazy Girls

If I could I’d give it a 0 star,

Claudia Beck

The stuff are very helpful always checking on you a little bit crowded but otherwise I had a good experience

Carl Geczy-Haskins

This is definitely a location in desperate need of expansion to a larger space. Always packed with people, and the store feels outdated compared to the other metro locations. Great service, and definitely the best place to buy, learn about, and repair Apple products!

Gannon Strand

Very friendly and nice environment

Nicholas Weber

Sarah W. Was kind enough to walk us through everything. Too old to be millenials, too young to not know. Thank you!

Henry Yin

I can't believe apple store provide such a ridiculous service. I came to this store to pick up my MBP booked online. I showed my picking up message, my order confirmation email and my passport. The employee refused to give me the MBP because he was not sure I'm the one who ordered this prod. I need to call the service guys to update my name online which should be as same as my passport. I did and it worked. But come on, i can ask them to change my name to anything, so is this really the way u confirm who i am? I was reaaly disappointed about what i was suffering this afternoon, u r wasting my time. It maybe the special guy special case, but to me, apple service sucks!!!

Adin Cruickshank

The workers are very thoughtful and respectful.

Jack

The experience was haunting. The workers were vindictive and rude if you needed three minutes of their time. I was appalled about how they treated me. I only got short tempered-passive aggressive responses for my one question I was redirected to the greeter who told he to book an apple apointment- 3 hours later. These people do not care for a welcoming environment. They want you to spend, or get out

Craig Miille

Got a new phone and Will there went above and beyond staying 20min after they closed helping me set up the new phone. Thanks again man!

Joseph Rhinewine

I came to this store today to assess whether my 2017 MacBook Pro was worth repairing. I was informed there would be a 40 minute wait until an appointment to have it looked at. I responded that I could wait 40 minutes, but I wouldn't be able to wait longer than that. The salesperson stated that was fine, and signed me up in their system. 40 minutes later, I returned and spoke with another salesperson, who said my appointment wasn't for another 30 minutes. I recounted what the prior salesperson had said, in response to my need for the wait to be no longer than 40 minutes -- had I known it could, then I'd have waited until another day. The current salesperson simply stated that "wait times can vary" and chose not to respond to my point that the prior person had misled me. He did go ahead and tell me to sit down at the "Genius" counter, and I only waited a brief period of time before someone saw me. The technician told me that any work they did on it would be $475 flat fee, and that would include if they only got a few keys on the keyboard unstuck. I thanked the technician and left. While I resent the clumsy defensiveness of the 2nd salesperson, I resent far more that Apple will no longer service computers at anything faintly resembling a fair price for the services. I have fired Apple entirely. I sold my stock in Apple long ago, and this is the last device I have from them. I will not be buying any Apple products until they change their character -- and I am not holding my breath for that. What was once a genius company is now a rip-off factory and an incompetent mess. Friends don't let friends buy Apple.

S. Ryan

Able to swap my iPhone and get a new one and they helped me get my carrier to change it all over.

Mychael Raymond

This place is awful the wait time is ridiculous My advice is make an appointment

Donny Mcmannn

3 weeks ago I was deucing with my I pad and the toilet broke ... lost quite a bit of blood, pride and golden girl memorabilia. Thanks goodness they were able to fix me up

Mia Ramos

my Phone x had blacked out, the display wasn’t working but everything else was I took it in to Verizon and all they told me was my insurance and warranty won’t cover the fix bc they believe I had water damages it ?!! And gave me a card to go get it fix at my own cost I was so bummed but decided to get a second opinion and took it to apple care and in less than 45 mins they had fix my phone! No replacement need and at no charge also even gave me a 40$ temp glass since their employee took it off my phone to check for damages, they told me it was just the display issue I was so happy they took the extra time to check my phone out very happy girl

A D

Plan on them makeing you wait. It is how they keep the store full, which makes it look like all the people in the world want a Apple to widget.

Heather conwell

Very posh area and nicely setup

Darlene White

Joe's Burgrs has the best Turkey burgers.

Stephen Fritz

This is the slowest customer service business I’ve ever seen. I waited 20 minutes during the Super Bowl to get a customer service person. Meanwhile they had 2 people just standing around doing nothing but taking my name. My wife went at 10:00am on a workday and waited 40 minutes. My recommendation is buy online or better send a message to apple to not understaff their stores and don’t buy at all.

Foolish Oni

Apple charged my over $1400 for two phones online then would not release the phones to me I store. They suggested to cancel the online order and buy them in store instead. Since this caused a duplicate charge on the card, the card would not process another payment of the exact amount a second time. It was a bad suggestion by the apple employee and I never got the phones. The apple employee just stood their and watched me struggle trying to figure out how to fix this issue. Nothing was accomplished and I left frustrated, with no pho es and a charge on my card for over $1400. I will never buy anything from apple again.

Jessica Hubbs

Much more chill than the other locations in town.

Liz Lopez

Just came here once to get some Airpots ! Helped right away, took less then 15 minutes! Good service, it was quite busy when I got there too.

Aaron Hinton

Friendly & helpful, worth the wait. Ben got my device issue resolved rather quickly.

Bokai Shen

This place is horrible, the staffs know nothing about their product. You need to wait at least 30mins to ask a simple question. This place should shut down. Bad experience ever

Al P

Always a pleasure. Helpful staff.

Darrell Smith

I thought it was great but a nice time shopped as some food some beers awesome

Josh Garvin

Worst Apple experience I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in no one was willing to take the time to understand my situation and it seemed like they just wanted to get me back out the door. It took about 5 minutes after I was checked in before someone came up to help me meanwhile there were half a dozen employees standing around various parts of the store helping no one. After they admitted making two mistakes of their own and talking with the manager Benny he told me there was nothing else they could do for me and that I would have to take care of the situation on my own with Citezens one(the loan company for the iPhone upgrade plan). How do you contract a loan company and then not be able to verify any of your customers information with said company? Very disappointed with how Apple handled things and will not return to this location in the future. Do yourself a favor and go to the Washington Square location!!

Mike L

Parking can be a hassle, but other than that it's a typical Apple store.

Nicole

Nick is absolutely brilliant, he rescued and resurrected my extremely broken (and I thought) dead iPhone, and restored it to better than before previous glory. Trying to recover from the WORST 2 years imaginable, which include being sick and close to drying, and unable to work for a year, so my finances are in a state. He saved me mucho deductible cash and/or new phone money, and was a doll about doing it. You're my hero!!!!

Victor Sandoval

Good place to get your Apple Electronics. Note: Sometimes it is a bit noisy in here as it can get busy.

Carlos Cortes

What’s the point of making and appointment if they help you like 30 minutes after ur appointment. Worst customer service

Brent Lam

With as crowded as it always is I'm surprised they aren't more efficient at handling incoming customers. They have red shirt employees around to assist, and while easy to find not always easy into know who you should talk to. Plenty of hardware to play with so that's good but when trying to get warranty work done they go out of their way to try and talk you out of it or tell you you don't need it.

Donna Tewksbury

Arrived 10 minutes after store opened. Three staff laughing talking to each other When I asked for tech support from them, one told there was a 2 hr wait I then asked if he would just look to see if issue couldn’t be solved in seconds because Im heading home, a 3 hour drive. He said “no” Lousy customer service!

Zac S.

Called Apple to get warranty service and was told I could drop in, drop my beats headphones off. Drove there, was then told it would be 3 hrz...? Why would Apple tech support offer this option when I could have someone immediately call me. Send a box and I could have mailed it in? Apple must think everyones time is invaluable... To add insult to injury the phone cut off before finishing the warranty service. This is why i don't buy iPhones...macs...regret buying these beats. They have a great system,. Great products (mass-produced so occasionally one will get a dud) but their approach to service is ridiculous. I've never walked into ANYWHERE IN 30 years to be told it would take 3 hours to START a warranty or a return. Apple needs help. Customer service is not difficult

andrew madson

Not impressed. I went in to buy my wife an Apple Watch for a present. I was not greeted when I walked in. I stood by the watch case for 25 minutes before someone came over to help me. After they came over they said that someone else would be assisting me. I waited for another 20 minutes and the other employee came over. They did not have the watch band that I was looking for but did present a suitable alternative. With a reputation for good service I was very disappointed. I submitted an online survey about my experience and did not receive a response.

Shivayogayya Madanabhavi

The store closes at 6pm, they say Google has wrong information... the staff is very rude and doesn’t work for American culture

Lisa M Smith

Great service. Very busy.

mark meyers

Very friendly and helpful staff. More interested in the right match than just a sale.

LILY OLSON

This Apple store is very disorganized, and not very helpful. Apple staff walk around and look through you not to make eye contact and are not interested in assisting you. Just pass the buck. The Genius Bar is very limited to what they will do for you and will not spend time helping you resolve your issue but rather send you off with a phone appointment to Apple care (they tell you the staff will call you but you get a call from Apple care who are unable to resolve your issue. I was on the phone for one and one-half hours without a resolution!. Also I waited for three hours waiting for help. How is this good customer service!

Meegs

First things first, I don’t want to speak for everyone because of course everyone has a different experience. Not to mention the time I went before today was completely fine, I have no complaints. However I was in there today to replace the iPhone that I had taken in a couple months before where they informed me that I could trade in my damaged phone for a set price. They “fixed” the damage as best they could so it was usable and I continued using the phone until today. Totally ok nothing wrong with what they told me everything seemed fair. So when I went in today not only did the price change upwards 200 dollars but they said that because of the damage ( the same damage they informed me previously was still qualified for the trade in ) it was no longer able to be accepted for the trade in. As a consumer I was left feeling confused and did not feel like I was given the best/cheapest option for my situation. Second complaint is that they told me I didn’t need a new SIM card because the one in my old phone would work perfectly and I just needed to simply switch them over. I do not know if this is because of my phone specifically but it is not that easy. It took a couple hours to even get it working sometimes and then was still another hour to finally get it working. Just a little underwhelmed by the events that happened and hope my possible next experience won’t be as difficult.

Jessica Ward

Love this Apple Store! Much easier to get to than the one Downtown. They always have the items I'm looking for and resolve my issues fast.

Ty O'Bryant

It's like every Apple store. It's nice. the employees were helpful and full of smiles. It was good.

goasfaras youcansee

Lot of god products. Just love it

On 12/28, I read about Apple offering a $29 iPhone 6 battery replacement on Reddit, CNET then Apple for poor battery performance. My wife says go get it replaced (since I've been complaining how my phone doesn't keep a charge long). I look at the symptoms Apple states as being caused by battery issues. I check all the boxes. So I call the Apple Store - Bridgeport Mall, Oregon at 11:30AM. NO ANSWER - I'm on eternal hold. During my wait, I look up Apple on my iPhone and see a link to the store and a support page. There is an option to make an appointment online. There is a box to click, "Battery Replacement." I click and am given a choice of time slots. I choose the earliest one (later that day at 5:25PM), expecting to pay $29 for a new battery. I show up at 5:20PM. A tech runs diagnostics and tells me my "battery is fine." (It's not.) I say, how the phone shuts down before the battery is exhausted, the apps open slow, I checked all the boxes in Apples check list of symptoms. He starts to debate me. I call in the manager. They go and take a huddle, 15ft away, come back in 5 and say, "I'm sorry, we're all out of batteries." "We'll call you when they're in." WHY DID I EVEN MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?! DID YOU NOT PUT STOCK ASIDE WHEN I CHECKED, "BATTERY REPLACEMENT?" I put my faith in Apple's offer to retro fit a new battery at a discount (per Apple's suggestion), made an appointment and am told to go away, come back later, we can't help you with what you made an appointment for - (no admission to that they screwed up at all, just excuses). Your customers expect more.

Edward Hilger

Fast, efficient, does not lead you on, upfront with options and costs.

Harpers Vetinary Clinic

I love it there. So many things to do. Lots of restaurants and stores. Pets are allowed in most stores. All the workers are very helpful and friendly. It's awesome

Julie

Was told at check in that the appointments were running late. Ok, fair warning. Ten minutes after the scheduled time I called the Apple Store number and requested to be seen. Finally talked with someone from the store (on the phone still) 10 minutes later. During that 20 minute time frame, 3 people who had come in AFTER me were already being helped by associates. Also, during this time span, at various times, 5-7 associates were standing in groups talking amongst themselves or solo, not engaging with customers. Why did I make an appointment if walk-ins were seen before me? Why did I make an appointment if associates were just going to ignore waiting customers? Quite frustrating but unfortunately I have to deal with this Store as this is the only Apple Store close to me.

Aditya Shinde

Came to repair my iPhone 6s. They found the problem within an hour. Was not fixable. They gave me a replacement for free. Worth waiting for an hour. Now no need to buy a phone for another 3 years.

sheri helmer

While visiting the Apple store we were greeted at the door by an employee who made us an appointment with a technician. The fun part was that we were able to wander out and have lunch at Pastini’s while waiting for a text from the technician! We were not left waiting in the store which was huge! The technician was professional and witty (plus cute). I give this experience an A plus!

nick graber

Very busy, but relatively quick service. Employees are friendly and relaxed, considering how overwhelming the crowd could be.

Julie Barr

Very helpful. Made an appointment and was helped within 10 minutes. Problem was solved in another 15 minutes. Got to look around the store and I'm now in love with Beats headphones. Very comfortable and the sound was more than adequate.

Wes

Trying to get service was like pulling teeth. L

Seagull HN

Very slow, quick to turn people away, and passive aggressive employees. I waited for a girl with a pad to check in for a long time. I believed she was to help check-in instead of trying to solve technical issues. There were other employees hanging around not helping anyone. After a long wait, I asked if I can check in. She said to wait for her to be done with helping. I said I thought there were technical people to help with technical problems. sure she wasn't happy and pointed to David (I think), the other person doing check-in. So I waited for David for another while. Finally get to talk to him. We ended up figuring a 3pm phone call to help instead. I asked if the phone call will absolutely help me solve the issue. This is the 3rd time I came in the store looking for help. The last two both ended with me going home to do it at home but neither worked out. This time I'd really want to make sure it will get done! I said if the phone call doesn't help me, I will yell at them now, just to say how disappointed I have been with Apple for the last few years. I've stopped using iPhones and now just need to wait for my Macbook Pro and Macbook Air to die out and done with Apple! When I said I would yell if the phone call doesn't help again, David said "Well I don't how that will help but sure...". Right, please tell me, David, what would actually help then? I've tried three times in the last likely 3 years! I am done with Apple mostly because of the services I received from this location especially. Other than today, a lot of time, they ignored me or did not see me because I'm petite and I'm Asian or whatever! No, I don't have to have any Apple product, thank you!

Alexa Tuers

Like 20 employees on at one time but 1.5 that can do anything with technology

Connie Strong

The staff take time to teach and advise at each appointment. They have helped my family and me explore money saving options and many new uses to get the most out of our devices. Infinitely better and more knowledgeable service for the same price as online or big box stores.

June Green

Great shopping

Kirsten Newman

Best experience I have ever had at a Apple store. AMAZING costumer service. All employees were so very helpful, experience, and professional. I would recommend this Apple store to all my friends.

Jaswinder Sidhu

Cold. Very apple

David Kuhlke

If you're looking for a store with employees who are condescending toward loyal customers, then this is your store!

zilvinas kazakevicius

Worst apple store manager is a real ahole, they did a realy bad job on the phone and don’t want to accept any responsibility. Had to buy a replacement phone, and the screen stopt working after a five days. Called the Apple support, told me nothing can be done I have to comeback and talk to the same pathetic excuse of the manager, they can all go to hell

jose barrera

Possibly the worst Apple store I've ever been serviced from, employees are friendly. Management lacks the organization greatly. Drove an hour and 30min just for APPOINTED repair to be pushed back for the 2nd time. Not only that but I could've easy been told by check in employee that I WOULD NOT be serviced that day vs having to wait an HOUR for them to tell me. PLEASE BUY YOUR APPLE PRODUCTS FROM ANY PLACE BUT HERE

Paul L

Excellent service, but it can get fairly crowded.

Connie King

Exceptional and prompt service with courteous friendly patient approach. Thank you, Jenny!

I will never return here again. My phone is under full warranty and it took me THREE appointments and working with two different managers to get my phone replaced. It wasn't working for the two techs in store but they still sent me away with it saying "Its the procedure we have to follow"..... I have never had this problem at any apple store ever.. Once I get the replacement phone it doesnt even work so now I have decided to just give away the phone and buy a new one from another apple store. The managers don't seem like they want to help or make things right.
