I brought my desktop computer here with a complicated issue where I had lost all Audio sound. Had tried other techs from another store that had not been able to fix it. Yesenia spent a lot of time troubleshooting and trying different things until she found the solution. She was very meticulous and professional and I also appreciate that she was very patient with me as I'm older and not very tech savvy. I'm definitely buying my next computer here. While waiting I noticed they have some very cool summer camp tech classes for kids, so if you have kids this is a good place to drop them off while you shop at the big mall (Dadeland Mall).

With 15 reps standing around chatting or playing games, you have to register for an appointment that is 20 minutes later. While you are standing around, reps will try to sell you the latest model. When you finally get to meet with the tech, it takes him 10 minutes to log in and find your warranty information. When he finally finds your warranty info, he tells you that yes the warranty will cover a new Surface pro but they don't have any so he will have to send it to Microsoft to get a new one. Not because its hard, but because it will be faster to exchange it if you see something fishy. Stress-test it in-store!!! You expect a knowledgeable person and you might get the used car salesman I got, who talked forever around the questions I made instead of answering any of them...three times the same week. I ended up making my own laptop through Origin laptops, best machine I've ever owned! oh well.

Worst customer service that I have experience in a store in Dadeland. After going today because my laptop had issues and I purchased the full warranty. I had the misfortune to be "taken care" by Yesenia. An associate in the technical desk. I requested to replace my laptop for another one (same brand and model) and then she said I had to pay $255 more for that one. When I asked why? She said with a really rude attitude: "Because that's the price". This is not the way Microsoft should treat a customer that has purchased a laptop that cost $1600, purchased the full warranty and it's about to spend another $250. As a customer I wanted to know what was the difference between this new laptop and the one I was returning. She simply could not answer that. All she needed to do was to be kind and look at the side of the box where the technical specs are. I am never ever buying a product from Microsoft or its stores. Went there for black Friday to buy an Xbox one. They weren't too busy and we kind of wondered around for a while with no one approaching us even though some employees were just standing around. Finally we approached what looked like manager and he was very helpful in getting us what we wanted and setting us up with an employee to ring us up. The employee almost forgot to give us a promotional gift card that was offered with a game purchased but he quickly apologized and helped us out once we pointed it out.

The idea of a Microsoft Store is really cool. When you walk into the store you get to play around with all the new devices they have and play some games if you have the time. Staff is very hit or miss, very few actually know what they're talking about. A couple know enough to be helpful and the rest are the kinds of reps that you have to walk up to only to have them walk you to what youre looking for and then they just stand there looking around not paying attention at all. Just glad we actually have a Microsoft Store.

Bad customer experience. Although they weren't rude, they're weren't very attentive. Waited as about 10 minutes before I decided to ask someone how I could pay for the Surface 3 power supply I needed; for some reason they think it's a good idea to not have dedicated cashiers. If it wasn't for me asking I don't think anyone would have asked me if I needed assistance. No one greeted us on the way in either. On a side note, $100 for a tiny power supply. That's a rip off Microsoft. And if you're up-charging because of the location, size of the store, and the huge overhead that comes with it, the least you can do is train your staff to make sure they provide a pleasant customer experience.
