There are several bad reviews on here, so I was skeptical. BUT THESE GUYS REALLY TOOK CARE OF ME! Casey was great, and when he got one of the techs (I didn't get his name but he was awesome) involved with my problem they both went above and beyond. And they both made sure I was 100% happy before I left. I am grateful! Thank you!

I visited the store today because my phone got turned off when I was on a call and it wasn’t turning back on. The apple store associate checked my phone, performed diagnostic tests and said the phone will not turn on. I was told that there can be some logic board issues. Since I didn’t had apple warranty I was offered apple service for $399. I declined the offer and got back home, left the phone on the table and few mins later I noticed it got turned on. I don’t know what and how diagnostic tests are performed leaving the customers in a helpless situation.

me and my mom went in there because her phone was activation locked ( long story ). after waiting for 30 minutes someone came over and helped us. they said we needed proof of purchase so we walked to sprint that wasn’t far and the printed out a receipt and gave it to the apple employee. he looked it over and said it didn’t have enough information to verify that this was in fact my moms phone. so we drove 20 minutes to the sprint store were we bought the phone and he printed out a receipt and we went back in to the apple store we didn’t get 15 steps in there before an employee came up to us glanced at it and said it still wasn’t going to be enough. we told them we had the sprint employees number so he could call the store and verify it’s our phone and he refused and basically told us to get out. we ended up going to the sprint store and buying her phone from sprint and getting iphone 8. so yeah the worst experience of my entire life

Apple at the Greene do not honor what apple stands for. I hate that it’s the only one that I can go to in dayton oh .... as I’ve had numerous accounts of bad service . They first did a recovery on my iCloud and deleted and erased everything off my account and said I never did a backup when I’ve had the same iCloud for over 5 years so I’ve done numerous of backups 2nd apple replace chargers under warranty under a year and they told me they couldn’t because there was a small crack I’ve never had that happen in my point if view this apple store needs more training on what apple allows as I also talk to apple care and they said it was replaceable

Jasmine was absolutely wonderful!! I went in for a battery replacement on my 6s and she told me i could get my battery replaced for $49 but she also showed me upgrade options once I mentioned that i had purchased a new car with wireless charging and didn't understand why my 6 wouldn't charge LOL I ended up upgrading to a 10R she was wonderful, kind and a enjoyment to work with this girl deserves a raise or a promotion she embodies customer service!!

iPhone wasn't charging and sound stopped altogether. The repair staff (in the back, of course) ""Couldn't find the issue"" -and only recommended buying a new phone. A friend later opened it and SIMPLY PLUGGED a wire back in that was unplugged = problem solved. So it appears that they are untruthful. Never again. ...Typical.

I’ve only visited for new purchases or pick up, but I’m always greeted by someone as soon as I enter unless it’s a peak business time. I’ve never been “stuck” in the store longer than I needed to get the transaction done. They’ve been quick and to the point while answering all of my rather simple questions. It remains to be seen how they handle a visit to resolve a product or software issue... I’m hopeful based on previous experiences.

Horrible store that won't own up to their own mistakes. Went in yesterday for my iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s batteries to be replaced. Got them back and they came out saying the iPhone 6 had "water damage" and that they couldn't replace the battery. TheiPhone 6s was battery was replaced. Got home and my iPhone 6 screen has an internal pressure crack so it's all blacked out in the lower left. The iPhone 6s is missing the two screws by the lightning port. I called them today and talked to Apple Service explaining it all, then get patched in to the "store manager" who just basically said I can come in for the screws, they won't mail them and tough luck on my iPhone 6. So I brought in a phone that didn't have a cracked screen and now it does and you tell me "sorry you can pay $299 for a new one but can't do anything about that", you are not a business that we should have any kind of faith in. Thanks "genius".

If I could give this Apple store a negative rating I would. The "representatives" at this store are the most unprofessional and frankly rude group of company employees I have ever experienced. Truly I was shocked at row rudely I was treated; the woman I spoke to literally refused to talk to me, when I was in the store physically trying to ask her a question about my coverage she actually WALKED AWAY FROM ME WHILE I WAS TALKING! This place is ridiculous, I hate Apple.

The Look of the store is cool, nice area for the children to sit and play on the iPads. the size of the store may need to be increased, when crowded it can get to tough to move through the isles. when a line is formed it can block the products. Customer service has been good for me when I do go in. I am greeted respectfully and seconds after I walk into the store. the employees give you time to look around before coming back and asking if you need any assistance. If you can deal with the store being busy more than less go ahead and go in and check out what they have to offer.

Had an appointment for a battery replacement and drove an hour only to find out they didn't even have them in stock... Looked around only to find out this has happened to so many people! So slowing down our phones to sell new ones and the excuse is to save a $10 part which we all know is BS and then offer that part at a discount and the only way to get it done is make an appointment (I called and asked before I made the appointment and was told to do so) and then cant even do what the appointment was for because why? Ridiculous. The rep said oh no this appointment was just to make sure you needed one.... The phone is dropping 20% at a time and last 1 hour on a full charge and my appointment was for BATTERY REPLACEMENT it even says so you ignorant excuse for an employee! I didn't drive a long ways for you to only confirm what was known. Switching and never looking back at such a terrible overpriced company. Keep you suicide nets up-kept around your facilities in china. I know if I worked there I would want to kill my self at work as well.

Casey at the Greene did not complete his job updating iPhone and when I did my trade in from bank card my funds were supposed to be put back on my card that day. They were not poor customer service. I would not recommend Casey at all needs more training in getting the job done. Customers are supposed to be happy not mad

Came in on a Monday to have my iPhone 6 battery diagnosed. The employee confirmed that I needed a new battery. He said they would set aside a new battery (that they had in stock) so I could drop off my phone Wednesday to get the battery replaced. I returned to the store to drop off my phone for repair. The “genius” at the door informed me that it would be at least 3 to 4 weeks to get the battery in. After explaining to him what the “genius” on Monday told me to do, he smiled and said “too bad, we will give you a call in 3 to 4 weeks.” Horrible service.

Outstanding service. They have learned from their mistakes and now order the battery and make sure it is in before scheduling an appointment. I also cracked my MacBook screen. They sent it out on Friday and it was ready on Monday. Products are expensive but so far, the price has been worth the quality.

I have been to store 2 times and met the tech guy there for two different issue. I don’t feel he understand the problem well. And I’m not sure how Apple hire these kind of people. He couldn’t even understand the problem that I had. I have been to this location atleast 10 times and brought atleast 2 phone 1 Mac book air and 1 Mac book pro. I would rate 5 for the sales guys over there but this tech guys not even 1 .

They had me waiting at the applebar just to tell me it’s $300+ to fix a cracked iPhone 7 camera lens, I think not. Went home and just ordered the $9 part off Amazon. I could get a whole new iPhone 7 for $300.

I have never wanted to stop buying MAC products more in my entire life! I walked in to the store just needing a charger for my device walked in and they said, “Can I help you and get you checked in” I said “yes, I need a charger for my product” they respond “oh that’s just an accessory stand back there” and point at the back. I stand and wait patiently where no one acknowledges me (in their defense they were very busy). Then after waiting I went back to the front and said is there a way to just check out? She said I saw you standing there in accessories someone will be there you just have to wait. I went back and waited patiently and stood for another 5 minutes. Then, a very kind sales person said oh I’m sorry are you waiting for accessories? I said yes. Then I handed over my charger port and then was checked out. So, how is this customer service? How is this acceptable? When did the need for an AIR charger become irrelevant? How did being a dedicated MAC supporter/customer become unattractive? Today, it did for me and I plan on being less committed to purchase Apple products in the future based on this level (or lack of) customer service. I will never purchase a product for this store again.

I will NEVER shop at the Apple Store again. Bought some Beats cordless headphones for a gift; they weren’t what they wanted and their return policy is 14 days! No exchanges, refunds, returns ... nothing! Who has a rerun policy that short!!! I will NEVER shop there again!!!

From the moment I walked in the door I had employees in my face. I knew what I was looking for and said as much so they let me through as though I had passed some secret test. While looking at the shelf, another employee snuck up behind me forcefully wanting to know what I was doing and what I was looking for despite having the item in my hand. I had been considering a second item but the employee would not back off, he stood next to me in my personal space, breathing on me, "suggesting" things I wasn't after. I lasted another two minutes before my anxiety reached boiling and I put my stuff back and walked out. I found what I needed somewhere else. There are helpful employees and then there are these guys. I'll give them two stars because they had what I needed, but minus three for the creepers and unable to look at a shelf.

The first time I went I had a great experience, they checked my phone out a said I need a new one at no charge, I couldn't get it because I didn't have all my information. So they said to come back and let them know you were here and your phone is in the back. I returned the next day only to be told I will have to pay for the phone, I tried explaining they didn't want to hear it nor check the notes on my account, ask to speak to the manager and she was so rude and nasty did not want to hear and and said my notes on my account won't change nothing. So I had to end up paying which I did, but I left the store and called corporate, oh my how nice they are, they not only reimbursed my money but gave me a $350 dollar credit.

Came in on a Monday to have my iPhone 6 battery diagnosed. The employee confirmed that I needed a new battery. He said they would set aside a new battery (that they had in stock) so I could drop off my phone Wednesday to get the battery replaced. I returned to the store to drop off my phone for repair. The “genius” at the door informed me that it would be at least 3 to 4 weeks to get the battery in. After explaining to him what the “genius” on Monday told me to do, he smiled and said “too bad, we will give you a call in 3 to 4 weeks.” Horrible service.

I have been to store 2 times and met the tech guy there for two different issue. I don’t feel he understand the problem well. And I’m not sure how Apple hire these kind of people. He couldn’t even understand the problem that I had. I have been to this location atleast 10 times and brought atleast 2 phone 1 Mac book air and 1 Mac book pro. I would rate 5 for the sales guys over there but this tech guys not even 1 .

From the moment I walked in the door I had employees in my face. I knew what I was looking for and said as much so they let me through as though I had passed some secret test. While looking at the shelf, another employee snuck up behind me forcefully wanting to know what I was doing and what I was looking for despite having the item in my hand. I had been considering a second item but the employee would not back off, he stood next to me in my personal space, breathing on me, "suggesting" things I wasn't after. I lasted another two minutes before my anxiety reached boiling and I put my stuff back and walked out. I found what I needed somewhere else. There are helpful employees and then there are these guys. I'll give them two stars because they had what I needed, but minus three for the creepers and unable to look at a shelf.

The employees at this apple store are nothing short of saints. I have an older model iPhone 6s that was having a myriad of problems. The second I walked in the door I was greeted by someone during peak hours who was also in the process of trying to help other customers. Not one person who walked in that door wasn't greeted immediately. When it was determined that my phone needed some extra assistance, they set me up with an appointment at their genius bar. I waited maybe 10 minutes and was assisted by Sierra (Ciara) who was so personable and patient. She helped my get my phone back in working order and sat and chatted with me almost the entire time it was updating. While waiting I overheard other employees interacting with customers and every single one of them were patient, kind and seemed genuinely happy to assist even the difficult customers. You guys are awesome, keep it up!

When we argue about an apple retail store, basically we are arguing about the actual department for retail ling in the actual Apple Company. The Apple retail policy was changed rapidly in the past 4 years, the Apple Store has changed to a more profits position rather than brand construction position. In this case, I have to say the service training decreased a lot. Appointment system response slower and when you arrived there you usually needed to wait for at least 10 minutes. That was not acceptable in the past. But it is common sense in apple Store since 2016. But as I mentioned before, this is the problem of Apple company and I'm really glad to see Angela Ahrendts left Apple. And I wish the service standard back up again. For this store, i personally like them. They still keep their service that it doesn't decrease a lot. My new iPad has some quality issue and they did change a new one for me. They checked the issue carefully and accept the return professionally. In this case, 5/5 for this store, but I must take a point off because the Apple company.

I'm not an apple fan but the store is actually somewhat nice. Some issues : not very spacious at all especially during busy hours. The staff don't function together they appear to do their own thing which is understandable but wastes time. Another minor complaint is that I feel the store is overwhelmed with display products as their could be like 30-40 ipads on display but maybe only 4or 5 people even look at them. Never go to the Apple store during a shift change! We arrived a few minutes before 4 pm and were told that it would be a 10-15 minute wait. 40+ minutes later we finally received assistance. The irritating part was that we saw several times where several employees were huddled up (including in the back hallway that I saw when I used the restroom). Now, I understand that someone would not want to start with a customer requesting a new phone minutes before their shift ends, but if the store is going to make customers wait that long, even unexpectedly, they ought to communicate that with the customer. Once we were helped, we were able to get the transaction completed quickly, but that was in large part because my son knew exactly what he wanted, the financing option, etc. Finally, I noticed that they took our name, and later approached us, calling us by name. For a company that prides itself on privacy, it was disconcerting. For reasons described above, a simple "take a number" system would be better. One would know where they are in the queue and their privacy would be further protected.

This place is the worst. All the Apple old people customers moved into areas like cows to a stable. Beyond that their service is idiotic and they are retail people trying to service devices based off very quick and stupid diagnostic protocols. They will not waiver from this and do not know more to be smart enough to make real conclusions. The sad thing is I have to say I know more than their Genius crew and managers. I wish I didn't have to say this, but reality is I've worked with Apple corporate and Apple enterprise longer than these hipster idiots have looked at a pointless diagnostic test. That said, I don't go there (at all if I can) to tout my knowledge, but rather say nothing, knowing I know what's wrong with my device but silently wait for them to treat me like I'm dumb and run through rudimentary diagnostics (fine go ahead, I'll stay quit). Every time I go there, I have to hear some person that knows less than me run through their process, every time they treat me like crap. Then I have to leave Every time and actually call Apple direct, then Every time they (Apple phone customers care, not the Dayton store) apologize for these morons and reverse everything they did at the Dayton store. It's sad that I have to go through this horrible store just to get everything reversed by Apple (Every time) just to get some real service. I've also heard SO many times - poor customers getting terrible and incorrect info because the poor customer doesn't know any better and the clueless employee is clueless.

I purchase lots of Apple product, but the store experience turns me off. Long waits and staff that has some difficulty understanding what is actually happening compared to what they are telling you. I came in to buy a new iPhone 11 Pro Max and an iMac 27 5K; they tell me it will be 15 minutes. 30 minutes later they say I am next and 10 minutes after that, a guy walks in buys his phone with the registration attendant as I watch and wait. The other attendant says to me that it’s first come first serve. I left before I became upset - bad experience again.

I had been waiting over an hour for them to come and talk to me about my son's phone. ( My son had been in the day before and they figured out the problem and that the screen would need replaced, but they were not able to do it since he is only 16. He tried to schedule an appointment, but they told him that was not necessary that there is plenty of staff and the wait would not be long.) As I was waiting over an hour the couple who came in after me was being help, it kind of upset me but I let it go; it was the next couple that got helped instead of me. That couple knew I was there before them and let the employee know that I was in front of them. The employee helping the first couple chimed in after I said I had been waiting over an hour and nobody has came over to talk to me. He told me there wore many customers here that have been here over an hour and was still waiting. I told him my son came in yesterday and that Apple knew what needed to be done and the the screen was going to need replaced. He got on his Ipad and looked up my info and then went on to tell me that it was not going to be fixed today because their system was down and that I will need to schedule an appointment. I told him my son tried and was told that no appointment was necessary. He said well the only way it can get fix if you schedule an appointment. I told him I'm not scheduling it right now that they have wasted enough of my time. Maybe I would not have gotten so upset if they would have came to me earlier and been upfront about their system being down instead of passing me up and waiting on other people that came in after me. It's a 30 minute drive one way to get to this store for me, so talk about a waste of time!

It's so neat and orderly when you first walk in that you're afraid to touch anything beceause it looks like a museum. But then after about 30 minutes all of the cleaning and organization from the night before is thrown out the window as greasy fingerprints and strewn wires appear. It becomes so crowded that now I know how farm auctions were back in the 1800s. There are so many people packed into the store at any given time I'm lead to belie believe 2 things: 1. Apple products are so complex and non-user friendly that it is a necessity to come in begging for instructions on how to use them and/or 2. Apple products crash and break on a regular basis.

I bought an Apple Silicon Case for Iphone 10 X Max. The case got torn while putting it on my new Iphone 10 X Max so i went to the Apple store to get it replaced since it has 1 year warranty. The store manager showed me sample photos of torn cases which they are allowed to replace and one of the photos was matching with same exact torn that my case has. The store manager, Jake, refused to replace my case because he said my torn case is not matching with any of the photos that he showed, which is not true. I asked him to show me the photos again but he refused to show the photos again. I was very upset so i asked him for his card so i can write review but he even refused to give out the card. Finally, after argument he gave the store card and gave his first name which is Jake. I asked him his last name but he refused to give the last name too. This is not the kind of service i expected from Apple store. I own lot of apple products and have always got get service if i run into any issue with my devices but this was really bad service from the store manager. I was helped quickly. I wasn’t able to get into my iPhone due to the voiceover being on. The gentleman helped me get into the phone, unfortunately I lost ALL of my photos from the last 2 years. So many of my son and family meme wars that I won’t get back. Probably a product flaw, in my opinion. I just wish there was another option.

There was a guy there called Travis who just sucks so bad. When I said hello to him he vomited on my shoes and called me a slur in English, Polish, and Latin. I don’t even know how you learn slurs in Latin I didn’t think they had those. Surprisingly really good at fixing iPhones though, but I’m pretty sure I saw a tiny bug on his head like pulling strands of hair to show him how to do it. Like a Ratatouille type deal. If you ask me the bug should be on the payroll instead of this stupid man. Anyway I gave one star because there was a nice girl called Sienna maybe who gave me a hug on the way out and she was nice. If I owned the apple store I would pay her a hundred million dollars an hour

I had a iPhone 6s Plus not being used. Knew of the recycle program with Apple and proceeded to head to my nearest Apple store to turn in this older phone. Was greeted promptly at the main entrance, store was very busy and was assured someone would be with me shortly and I was welcome to look around. I was soon greeted by a young woman who promptly took care of my needs, was given a $100 gift card for the older iPhone 6s Plus. They were already out of the series 4 watch which i could easily order online anyway so no big deal. Prompt, friendly service. Store was well maintained. Will return again.

I cannot even begin to talk about how horrible my experience with Apple is. I have an iPhone 7plus which has never worked properly. They have replaced it and still does not work. So now this trip will be like the 18th trip there in 14 months——horrible! They are yet again repairing this horrible iPhone. They have tons of sales reps but not near enough repair personnel.

I would first like to start off by saying that my computer screen stopped working. After an hour on the phone with a representative I went into the store where I was greeted by a sales associate who told me that it would take at least 2 hours to fix my computer or they would have to sent it out for repair, a cost of $834, but I could shop their selection of new products. Upon informing them that I was not interested and that I needed the computer immediately due to school, he continued pushing the new options, at which point I became upset that he was trying to capitalize on my misfortune. My computer is not that old, and I take excellent care of it. I asked to speak to the manager and he managed to fix my computer in 10 minutes for no cost, so he thought. My computer did work in the store but stopped as soon as I left. I then spoke to the regional manager over the phone who "fixed" my computer, where it worked for 8 hours then again the next morning promptly stopped. I since have not been able to get in contact with Apple to fix any issues. I can safely say that I am no longer going to be an Apple customer, an iPhone customer or any other product made by them. Dishonesty and a lack of integrity seems to represent the core values of Apple in the Dayton area. Update, if you are in a hurry, don't bother going to the store, trying to contact someone, or even think about having someone come out and ask if they could help you despite 20 plus employees standing around inside the store. Normally a store would, if someone was clearly waiting send one of their employees out to at least ask what was wrong, even if they could not help them immediately. Not Apple. Yet another reason why you should always buy Lenovo

The store and their corporate office don't communicate well. Even with scheduling our visit for a screen repair we waited 45 minutes to be helped after being checked in. The corporate office said it would be weeks before we got the phone back but the tech was able to fix it in a couple of hours so that was nice

I had been waiting over an hour for them to come and talk to me about my son's phone. ( My son had been in the day before and they figured out the problem and that the screen would need replaced, but they were not able to do it since he is only 16. He tried to schedule an appointment, but they told him that was not necessary that there is plenty of staff and the wait would not be long.) As I was waiting over an hour the couple who came in after me was being help, it kind of upset me but I let it go; it was the next couple that got helped instead of me. That couple knew I was there before them and let the employee know that I was in front of them. The employee helping the first couple chimed in after I said I had been waiting over an hour and nobody has came over to talk to me. He told me there wore many customers here that have been here over an hour and was still waiting. I told him my son came in yesterday and that Apple knew what needed to be done and the the screen was going to need replaced. He got on his Ipad and looked up my info and then went on to tell me that it was not going to be fixed today because their system was down and that I will need to schedule an appointment. I told him my son tried and was told that no appointment was necessary. He said well the only way it can get fix if you schedule an appointment. I told him I'm not scheduling it right now that they have wasted enough of my time. Maybe I would not have gotten so upset if they would have came to me earlier and been upfront about their system being down instead of passing me up and waiting on other people that came in after me. It's a 30 minute drive one way to get to this store for me, so talk about a waste of time!

It's so neat and orderly when you first walk in that you're afraid to touch anything beceause it looks like a museum. But then after about 30 minutes all of the cleaning and organization from the night before is thrown out the window as greasy fingerprints and strewn wires appear. It becomes so crowded that now I know how farm auctions were back in the 1800s. There are so many people packed into the store at any given time I'm lead to belie believe 2 things: 1. Apple products are so complex and non-user friendly that it is a necessity to come in begging for instructions on how to use them and/or 2. Apple products crash and break on a regular basis.

I bought an Apple Silicon Case for Iphone 10 X Max. The case got torn while putting it on my new Iphone 10 X Max so i went to the Apple store to get it replaced since it has 1 year warranty. The store manager showed me sample photos of torn cases which they are allowed to replace and one of the photos was matching with same exact torn that my case has. The store manager, Jake, refused to replace my case because he said my torn case is not matching with any of the photos that he showed, which is not true. I asked him to show me the photos again but he refused to show the photos again. I was very upset so i asked him for his card so i can write review but he even refused to give out the card. Finally, after argument he gave the store card and gave his first name which is Jake. I asked him his last name but he refused to give the last name too. This is not the kind of service i expected from Apple store. I own lot of apple products and have always got get service if i run into any issue with my devices but this was really bad service from the store manager.
