REVIEWS OF Apple Crocker Park IN Ohio

As crowded as any other Apple store. I went there a few times. Once thankfully there was no damage they just reconnected my speakers so it cost me nothing. Another time my macbook was too slow for my use. When they knew I had a 10-page data loaded paper due few hours from then, they so nicely offered to write a note to my professor regarding the situation. The very expensive program we use for the analysis was available at one computer lap only which was closed at the days when we were suppose to work on the paper and on my not so fast lap top. My professor understood and allowed me late submission.

William Bakos

My daughter is hooked on iPhones. I make sure mine is an outdated Samsung. The customer service here was excellent though! They got right on testing my daughter's phone, went to replace the battery, found more problems, and just replaced the phone. The staff was polite and attentive and helpful.

Jim Hardin

Very very expensive long wait phone busy

Jacob Hambly

My girlfriend took my old iPhone 6 up here to get a battery replaced and somehow they broke the volume keys and refused to fix the battery saying it’s a 3rd party screen (which spoiler alert it’s not) I’m not sure what volume keys have to do with a battery. However, then refused to fix the phone thankfully Verizon helped us out. Highly recommend taking your apple products elsewhere. These guys will break it, tell you your sol and you can buy something else.

Kevin Duchon

Oh! The nerve of these people! My fiance went in to have a laptop battery replaced (a system warning told us to do so) and was quoted in writing "$129.00 Flat Rate" in 3-5 days. Well.... Then we walk back in to pick it up. To their credit, it was done on time, I'll give them that. But when it came to pay for it, we were told $250 after taxes and a $100 labor fee. They deliberately hid that from us till the work was done. The manager reduced the fee to $1 rather than waiving it. Some may think that means that it was made right, but it isn't. The money is not what upsets me, the "general principle" isn't even what upsets me. It's the fact that the two people we dealt with (employee and manager) tried to make themselves look like heroes when they initially tried to fool us. Sadly, nobody that we spoke to was shocked by this story. They make a profit by scamming and strong arming people.

Barry Sweeney Jrn a lot.

Super busy slow service

Went in to store with a dead MacBook Pro. It would not start. They could not figure out the issue, so they said they could send it in and have it fixed for $475. But, recommended looking at a new computer instead due to the age (2.5 yrs old). Since the computer already had a motherboard replaced once, we decided to scrap the old and ended up leaving with a new $1000 MB Air with Apple Care. Pros: 1) they were able to get the files off the old computer and on to an external drive so we didn't loose anything. 2) there is an Apple store near us. Cons: when evaluating the MacBook Airs we looked at the old model vs 2018 model. With Black Friday discount, student discount and Apple Care included, we thought old version would cost $850 and 2018 model would be $1350. A $500 difference. No brainer, get old version. When we checked out we discovered we could not apply both the Black Friday discount and the student discount at the same time. Plus, Apple Care was $225 not $200. So the difference between old and 2018 model wasn't $500, but more like $300. We are still happy with the older version, but it wasn't the deal we we're led to believe it would be.

Dave Payne

Great variety and good food.

Great place to buy products and great customer service! Took my iPhone in the other day and got the issue resolved in no time! I really don't know what these people with bad reviews are talking about! Oh and FYI to the people who tell lies and complain, for the love of God where did you receive you education? Before you write a review at least spell your words correctly so people can understand what your saying! But yes this store is great and very friendly customer service! I highly recommend this store!

Mark Cleveland

They are slow! They kept me on hold for over 45 minutes, what's wrong with your staff? I can't believe I need a new battery for my iPad Pro, I just got for Christmas

Lingzi Hong

Mixed feeling about this place. There’s one time I got there and bought an Apple Watch and was “hosted” nicely. One other time I went there but no one really helped out and asked what I want meanwhile people just standing there talking to each other, I do not know why. This circumstance looked arrogant and snobbish to me as I did not wear fancy jewelries, use latest iPhone and drive a Maserati? Or because of me being an Asian? I do not know. Plus, don’t ever expect you can get any latest iPhone there, they have nothing, not even the watch band that my dad and I want.

Vince Cuffaro

Love Apple...but...went in last night to buy a Apple watch. walked around and passed by at least a dozen employees not taking care of anyone. Not once did someone ask me if I needed help. Could have sold a watch and Apple TV 4k! Just FYI....

Ken Smolen

Went for a phone battery and that's what we got. No sales pressure and they fixed the phone in the time promised. Well be there when it's time for a new phone for sure. Thanks Tammy!

Alyssa Rivera

Had a great experience with Stephen. Took very good care of me. Only thing i didn't like was the time wait. Make sure to make an appointment

jenny mcwilliams

Great customer service Moe was great from start to finish helped us choose the right computer with out over spending.

Apple is just too cool for its own good. Instead of all the freaks that greet you at the door in 'hipster attire', Apple should have a few old folks peppering the staff to make guys like my Dad (82 years old) feel comfy walking in. From the automated attendant answering the phone my Dad was lost from the get go. Jobs would beat you clowns because while you have all the cool gear, you have to appeal to all sectors of your users. When it comes to 82 year olds, you don't cut the mustard. So wipe the 'I'm cool, I work at the Genius Bar, smug look off your face and get involved.

Jacqueline Baron

Terrible... I was waiting for 2 hours just to find out they didnt even put my name into the system and are still making wait. They shoulf really think about hiring new employess who know what they are doing.

Shemille Golston

I took a class on keynote. The instructor was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the subject matter. I also needed assistance from a tech and she was very helpful as well. Overall, great customer service experience.

Paul Ontko

Amazing customer care really helpful and fast even when the store was busy.

Steve Tishko

Staff is very knowledgeable about the product lines, and helpful in making a selection of items to fit your needs. Purchasing is a breeze, thanks to efficient method of payment and delivery. No lines, no registers.

Chuck Fox

Excellent handled my return with no problem

Zane Nettles

Tabitha was extremely helpful and personable throughout the entire experience! I know that my Mac is safe in Apple's hands-- Tabitha reassured me of everything and I would recommend her to anyone!

Melissa Green

Always a very helpful staff

Laura Menzing

THIS time did not have much of a wait, but made sure I got there shortly after they opened. Other times not so much. Tech was able to help me although he did manage to make me feel stupid. I felt he was very condescending...

Tika Dillard

Its Gorgeous out here! Variety in places to shop, Clean, Happy. Whether you want to go out to eat, shop, just walk, great scenery. Lots of nice people!

Khan Zeb

One of the worst experience I ever had and not once twice on this location. I let it go once but even if it happened twice it made write this and you can’t be so disrespectful to anyone and I was the customer in the store. Disrespectful bastards

Chris Perez

Very very helpful. In fact I bought an iPhone 10.

Kat D

Went here on a busy day shortly after they released a new phone. Was surprised by how quickly an apple person came up to help me without needing to ask for assistance. I told them I wasn't sure what I wanted in a new phone. Instead of trying to sell me the most expensive product in store, they helped me find the right phone for my needs. Loved it.

David Lewallen

Last week we visited the Crocker Park Apple store to renew our service contract with Verizon and purchase (3) iPhones. The associates were courteous, professional, knowledgeable of the product and eager to satisfy our needs. The store itself was well organized and clean. Our overall experience exceeded expectations considering our visit was on Black Friday. Well done Crocker Park. We couldn't have been more impressed. .

valerie Bonilla

I was taken care of very quickly. My Apple rep Amanda was very knowledgeable and super efficient. She was taking care of 2 customers at a time, talk about multi-tasking. It also helps when workers are nice and have a great personality. I would have no hesitation in going back if/when needed.

Ashton mania!

It was cool to look at

Chuck Zaro

Employees are very polite they know what they're doing and talking about quick to the point and they fixed my device two thumbs up

Carolyn

Way better customer service than the indiana apple store. It was an entirely different experience- efficient, friendly, fantastic product knowledge. Thanks to them my expensive paperweight is now a functional computer.

Herp Aquatics

People are nice and they play good music but it took a 1 hour to get someone

Porkchop Express

Placed an online order to be picked up in store. Was told it was ready hours before picking up and was held waiting outside for some reason. Then after finally being let in the "specialist" took a personal call, then went and mingled with a friend, before finally being taken care of. Pretty terrible customer service.

Daniel Dean

I took an IPhone 8 in for service that was less than one year old. It would not stay charged and would simply turn off at random times throughout the day. While Apple does a great job of greeting you, fixing your phone is another story. I spent 2 hours at my first visit and was told the phone has reset at the original settings and is fine. I drove home (15 minute drive) and within an hour, the phone died again. I drove back to the Apple store the next morning. I spent 2hours in the morning at the store and and again was told the phone is fixed. I left and within 30 minutes the phone died again. Upon returning to the store, I asked about a new phone and was told we have to exhaust all possible problems before a new phone is given. Please know that the staff are pleasant, professional, and supportive, but are not highly trained to deal with some of the complexities of their product. After 9 hours and 3 technicians later, I received a new phone.

Jacob Rockwell

It took an hour to get 3 screensavers put on and get waited on

Dibya Ranjan Mohini

Place is spacious and big.. There are all sort of accessories and phones available.. There are ample number of service executives who are cooperative. We came here to change the iphone 6s+ battery. However they never asked us earlier to take an appointment before coming to the showroom to change the battery but after reaching they asked us to wait 3.5 hrs or to drop off the phone for one day. We never planned for the same. 3 star rating is for the inconvenience caused and poor planning from Apple.

You Are Awesome!

Horrible. Worst experience of my life. Never have I received such horrible service from the entire company, store level and telephone service.

Megan Johnson

Horrible customer service. I would not recommend this store to anyone

The worst apple store I been in , they are very rude and not helpful. I gave them my phone to fix it , they messed it up more than it is and they give back to me say sorry we can’t fix it that was by the supervisor (Jessica S) Apple Store Lead Genius And she kept rounding in circles about not fixing the phone.

Purchased a MacBook Pro. Was an easy and quick transaction. They don't negotiate too much but I still like the place.

Levi Taylor

Quick and friendly staff. I was concerned with having to set up an appointment for another day to get my phone repaired, and even more so when being sent from one side of the store to another to wait, then another part of the store again. However, they moved with urgency, testing the damaged device and ultimately repairing it under warranty. I did need to wait a couple days for the new screen and digitizer to come in, though, since they did not have any in stock. That was the only unfortunate part of my first direct experience with Apple staff after using their products for many years.

Cherish Gang

Love the store and the wait wasn't long at all. They have so many workers

Jordan Price

Worst store I've ever been to. Had all old models from 2015 and only one good product.

Carlos Bravo

Great help, very nice staff and they were early in assisting me.

Irene Lusk

Great

Brian M

Went for genius bar help. Was quite a wait which is what the 3 stars are for. The help I got was worth 5 stars

Richard Vu

Staffs were friendly, sort of knowledgeable but seems to be lost & didnt know what to do with customers. Waiting an hour for a Geek and 2 hours until the issue addressed & taken care! Gotta get theirs together for better services & maintaining their businesses!

Théodore Pavlich

I hate going to these places because I'm a terrible misanthrope but the staff was efficient and attentive and tried several things to help me with a particularly gnarly problem.

Christopher bodnar

Looks like a bunch of wannabe hipsters trying to show you how cool skinny jeans are. Lucky their product is what people want. Even tho i hate apple products.

Thomas Kazanas

the reviews are pretty accurate, Terrible customer service,( I’ve been to the Apple Store many times in Lenox mall in Atlanta where there are 100 times more customers) I see a bunch of lazy employees with their elbows on the table not doing anything here After sitting for a half hour and not having my appointment met I just left

Dave C

Went in for second time for battery replacement (didn’t have in stock during my first appointment), told me I would have leave phone for 6 hours. I explained that I was not able to because work and I would come in following week when time. They informed me that they would have charge me $80 even though guy in first appointment told me they would honor price. Talked with managers max and Jenine who both seemed incompetent to resolve a simple issue that would have never been an issue if they had part during first appointment. Max was hostile in his tone to me, you are not intimidating anybody tough guy. Apple Crocker park may want to spend lil money on customer service training. Reported them to corporate and corporate fixed issue for me and couldn’t believe the store management was so incompetent they couldn’t fix. Try a different store. They will do what they can to rip you off.

akram francis

When I entered the store I was approached by a young lady who welcomed me and ask how she can further assist me, I told the lady that I'm looking to purchase iPhone Sx Max, she told me that someone will be with me shortly . After waiting a few minutes I was approached by a sales representative (David) who started the conversation saying "what's up" in a way that makes you feel what are you doing here?? Told him what I'm looking for he responded that someone will bring the phone. And shortly someone brought the phone and David charge my card and gave me a receipt. This is not a first time I make a purchase from Apple store and I should've been offered to have my receipt Emailed to me. But this person David was in a hurry to do something else and didn't feel like he wanted to take care of our transaction. As a person with a retail background this is the worst experience any consumer can have. I would not recommend that store . Since you are spending a lot of money at least you can expect a nice person to deal with . Otherwise save your time and gas and order your phone online at least online will also offer you an accessories to your phone since a real person didn't want to do the job that he is getting paid for.

Hemanta Saikia

Good. Helpful staff..

Rob Hoelscher

Great customer service

david reed

I love the iPhones there

Danny Murnan

Fast at getting you in their system and a welcomed. However, it feels very crowded and you may wait a while at a table for a pick up or drop off.

Samuel Arriaga

Great service, very knowledgable, and fast!!

7 days before holiday spend. Over 1000.00 dollars. Ask the team member who is checking us out for a bag he says where out of bags so i said your out of bags and he rolls his eyes and says. Yes. where apple .love the product will just have to find another location.

Kate Garan

Outstanding customer service!! My daughter and I had an appointment, got there 10 minutes early and they took care of us right away... we interacted with 5 different employees and every one was amazing

Bill Winkler

Always had great service and they have always wanted to help. You low life 1 star people think they will just had out 1000.00 phones??? They have to troubleshoot and check it out first, common sense.

Susan Sarhan

I had to wait a while because it was crowded, as is often the case at Apple stores, but that's why you bring something to read. All staff were very helpful and friendly & the issue with my iPad not being backed up was taken care of quickly and in such a way that I can do it myself in the future provided I have a better internet connection than I do at home.

Shinitta Hawkins

Went to this apple store, as my daughters phone just stopped working. Waited almost three hours for a repair since I was still covered by the warranty for them to come back and tell us that the phone was not able to be repaired.... Bad business...

Ryan Harwood

Terrible store. Always crowded and you wait forever

Reported them to corporate and corporate fixed issue for me and couldn’t believe the store management was so incompetent they couldn’t fix. Try a different store. They will do what they can to rip you off.

Otherwise save your time and gas and order your phone online at least online will also offer you an accessories to your phone since a real person didn't want to do the job that he is getting paid for.

ahmad alsamaraai

When I needed assistance, their response was faster than I expected they would deserve

Janet Matejka

I noticed the millennial employees didn't seem to want to bother with the boomer generation customers

john wasiniak

Hussam was very helpful, shared a lot of knowledge and info on your product - iPhone 8 and 10

Ellanita Rounds

Visited the store today although there were a lot of people there it didnt take long at all for someone to Help me. I had help from Ian i hope i spelled that correctly he was phenomenal, he can multitask very well and i do believe someone was shadowing him today all at the same time. he did great explaining everything in detail to whoever he was training and to me as well. He made the time i spent in there fun and educational. My next visit i hope he is there thanks so much Ian....

3rd time no help at all and my issue has an easy fix long story but I simply don't feel like giving any more light time to that company.

My boyfriend and I went to the Apple Store in Westlake today. His phone has not been charging. The person who helped us took her little flashlight tool to look into the charging jack and told us the battery is corroded and the phone will never charge again. She gave us expensive options on how to solve the problem which would require getting a brand new phone. I also want to mention, the phone was still under warranty but nothing was offered for that. We decided to go to the Sprint store instead. At the Sprint store, the worker cleaned out the charging jack and the phone started charging right away. Needless to say, the “Genius bar” at the Apple Store might want to consider hiring some sprint workers since they clearly know Apple product better than the Apple workers. Genius Bar or rip off bar ?? I don’t recommend this Apple Store.

rebecca8914 .

Walked in and was immediately greeted. However I have never been in such a stuffy, hot store in my life. Felt like a bunch of herded sheep. Left within moments.

I can say that the workers are friendly and helpful (with the exception of the bald guy at the genius bar and the tall guy with grey hair, but looks like he's in his mid thirties at the Genius bar). They have always been quick and caring of my apple products. I think the store looks great. Yes, like all Apple stores you will probably be better off buying accessories elsewhere (Pricey).

Too expensive. But there were nice workers

Great customer service, Dee was very helpful, though it took a long tome to reach someone, but I believe the store is very busy.

Sarah Shapiro

Incredibly sad and disappointed with this store. I waited this afternoon for an hour and 30 minutes for a battery replacement for my iPhone 6S (yes, I had a scheduled appointment in advance). I understand they were busy, so the timing was the least of my concerns honestly. The new battery cost $31.42 when Apple (and no, not this store in particular) is the reason my iPhone 6S phone battery didn’t last to begin with. So everyone knows, Apple is in a lawsuit because they programmed their old batteries to purposely start dying out when new phones came out to increase profit. But, excluding that, my Belkin glass screen protector was cracked on the side, and when the guy behind the counter pulled it off to replace the battery it completely cracked all over (which I understood it would in advance), but instead of telling me these screen protectors have warranties (which I didn’t know) he took it and told me I could purchase a new one for $37.75 (which I did). Unfortunately I NOW know you need your old cracked screen protector in order to file a claim with Belkin for a new one. Long story short, I will not be back...this store is sadly just money hungry...

This is one of WORST Apple stores in the state of Ohio or perhaps in the country. I wish if I could give it a negative star rather than one star as it does not even deserve a zero star. For an Apple store to be in such a wonderful shopping strip at Crocker Park, it should employ at a minimum a decent customer service staff. If the store manager is way below par with bad attitude and poor care of customers, what would you expect from the regular employees? Under my customer service standards, that manager doesn’t even qualify to work as a greeter at the door of any of those big box retailer stores (with all due respect to those hardworking people at those big box retailer stores). Half of the store’s employees are chit chatting and laughing with customer whom they know without paying a real attention to other customers who are indeed in need for help. Prices have skyrocketed for the same product with minor enhancements year over year. The store seems disconnected and unaware of the Apple promotions as they wouldn’t honor them perhaps because of their unprofessional manager. I think they are super busy at all times because they neither take care of customers in a timely manner, nor they respect the customer time and effort coming to their store. Their untrained technicians spin wheels trying to diagnose the problems and at the end, all you get is a hit or miss type of repair. What a waste of a store! I absolutely don’t recommend shopping or coming for repair at this store.

Tom Perez

This place is full of incompetent hipsters. I brought my broken (hardware broken) iPhone 7 into this store and was being helped by a clown by the name of Zach. He was more worried about what was going on around him then helping us. When i asked him a question he would look at me like he was confused about where he was or what his name was. I told him he was arrogant, and he pouted and ran off and told his manager that i was calling him names (big crybaby). when his manager Caleb Haughee came over he instantly accused me of name calling. When i told him the issue he pretty much told me since i was JUST out of warranty he couldn't/wouldn't help me. I asked him if apple only makes phones to last a year and he looked at me like a dear in the headlights, maybe because he was a soul less ginger (i'm a ginger also). I left the store and called apple, told them what happened with the phone, and what do you know....they are sending me a replacement at no cost. He said that store manager must hate his job (if i was 45 years old and worked with a bunch of man bun skinny jean wearing millennials, i would probably hate life also). I will urge anyone to just call Apple instead of visiting this store in Westlake, Ohio.

Susan Schubert

Bought a new iPad! Soo helpful and did not try to oversell

There's really no point in having an appointment with this store. You still have to wait an unreasonable amount of time and some of them are rude but obviously you have to kill it with kindness. They act like you don't belong. I take my service elsewhere

One of the slowest Apple stores I’ve ever been to!!! These people need to learn supply chain efficiency

I got screwed by the Apple Rep that sold me the Apple Care Plus product. Be very leery of how Apple sells the Apple Care Product. Bought a MacBook Pro last year for my son to use while in college. The Apple Rep explained why it is important to purchase Apple Care Plus. He gave an example of how his son while in college spilled beer on his Apple laptop. Because he had Apple Care Plus, Apple repaired the computer for $99.00. We purchased the product with Apple Care Plus. My son spilled a sports drink on his laptop and it needed repaired. To our surprise, it cost $299.00 to repair due to the liquid. I explained to the Apple manager how the product was sold to us and she could careless. She kept stating she was resetting our expectation. While it is correct the policy states in writing if damaged by liquid it cost $299.00 to repair. Unfortunately, that is not how it was represented. You will get better treatment at used car dealership then the Apple Store at Crocker Park.

Bought an Apple Watch in December and had to have Apple figure out why the Watch is freezing and self rebooting. A Watch I only wear for 2-3 hours a day. If this is an on going problem, why continue to sell this item. Apple you are losing your rep very fast. I have not received my Watch and it's now 2 weeks; I was told 5 days max. Apple a billion day company, and an excuse of the holidays is not a very good excuse for the delay, considering Apple knowing the Watch would be a good seller during the holiday; why wasn't the right personal on hand for these problems. Billion dollar company smh. For the last 2 years, Apples service and detail to software has failed me many times; I have been to the Apple Store for problem at least 50 times in the last 5 years. Updates, if any are slow! This is and will be my last Apple product for my family. This will be my last Apple product for my family.

Horrible experience. Not only did Apple run the scam to slow down their phones in hopes people would prematurely have to buy new ones but when I got to the store they laughed at me and gleefully told me they were "out" of the batteries you need to fix them. Now I get to have someone call me tomorrow so they can run a diagnostic on my phone so I get the privilege of making a second hour long trip to the store to get it replaced. If I can get an appointment in the next week that is. Under no circumstance would I ever consider an Apple product again. The only thing worse than this scam is the service at the store.

Alice Giesken

Employees lack common courtesy. We needed to replace a phone with apple care while on vacation so we went to the closest store- an hour away. We get there and they can't find the purchase history for the Apple care so they sent us to the Verizon store which was a 10 min walk away. It was 8:30- the Verizon store closed at 8. We get back to the store and call Verizon customer service (which they could have done, or at least suggested the first time considering the apple care is an apple product- but they had absolutely no way to help find their own product.) After sitting on the phone for nearly 45 minutes with Verizon we figured out what needs to be done to get our phone situation taken care of, they tell is they can't help because they already closed the registrars. Keeping in mind after they sent us to a closed store, we returned to the apple store before closing. There were 2 of us in the store, one one the phone and me- giving the employees updates on the situation. They all gave understanding smiles like they could empathize with what it was like to drive for hours out of our way while on vacation with no phone. Where they failed miserably was not one person told us they were closing the registars. No one said that after a certain time they would not be able to anything with their products they did have control over. No one told me, in passing or while we were chatting that our situation would have to wait until the next day. The whole situation took 2 hours longer to resolve because they failed to keep us updated and are not aware of others their business relies on.

Jonathan Medina

Having to spend 4hrs in a store isn’t something you look forward to on a Sunday. But the staff helped me resolve an issue with my phone, they spent hours trying to diagnose an issue. Went to this store today to have my iPhone battery replaced. Was quoted a price of $50. I said Ok and waited to be called on. 15 mins later someone comes out and takes my phone to the back of the store to be fixed. My Apple rep Greg said it'll be about 30-45 mins. I said ok I will wait for it. Waited about 40 mins, then I was told while fixing my phone the repair tech broke the clips that hold the battery. Then my Apple rep Greg tells me they will replace my phone altogether since they damaged it. So I wait, now I'm told they don't have my phone in stock. So now im told I can upgrade to a newer phone since my model is no longer available. And I spent $70 on a phone car kit I never should've bought had I known this would happen. Not the experience I was expecting from this store. So they didn't resolve my issue and I left with a damaged phone thanks to their so called repair team. This was a major let down for me and I'll never return to this store ever again. Step up your game Apple.

It seems time is no object with the staff at this facility. They take whatever time is needed to resolve a problem. They insure you are completely satisfied before you leave. And they don't try to sell you on any products. It seems their attitude is the product sells itself, their purpose is to fix problems, demonstrate, or educate.

I hate this place. I will never come back to this place. Worst location. I waited for 2 hours and didn’t solve the problem. I would never ever buy another iPhone or come near an apple store

Not a long wait. Very helpful. I am not technical person, but they were very patient.

Thank for the great customer service. When I walked in I was immediately greeted and sent over to a table to wait about 10 minutes. I then had Zack help me with my iPhone 7. It was displaying "No Service" he explained to me what was happening and then confirmed I had a warranty and swapped my phone out. He also showed me that he was destroying my old phone. I was in and out in less then an hour it was great! The vibe in this store is very upbeat and positive which I greatly appreciate.

My Apple Watch screen popped off while on my wrist suddenly (no force), so I took the watch up to the apple store on Thursday, March 28th where it was examined by Ethan. Upon examination of the device, he said that the battery swelled, causing the device’s screen to pop off. He claimed that it would be covered by warranty, and I just needed my parent to come in to sign off in order to send it in for repairs (I turn 18 in one month). My mother came in with the watch two hours later and Ethan re-examines it and sent it in for repairs. We had not heard back until this evening, when Apple notifies us that they believed that I cracked the watch. Upon calling the Apple Store at Crocker Park with my father (a CFO of a company that has contracts with apple for hundreds of devices), the manager/supervisor (not Ethan, he was very nice) insulted me, claimed I was lying to him, and was extremely rude. He claimed I had broke the watch - how do you crack a watch when you are making a SOFT BED? Anyone who took at least basic physics would know that an upwards force from a battery swelling could easily cause a screen to detach. I work part-time in the service industry, and this manager was potentially the rudest employee I may have ever talked to. You do not treat a customer by insulting them, claiming they lied while on speaker phone with my father, and then finding an excuse to charge us $229.00 for a repair. Why would I (a 4.8 GPA Honors student at the top of my class at one of the top high schools in the state) lie about a stupid watch! We will wait to hear a response from this manager’s higher-up, Mary, but at this point, based on my recent experience with this apple store, AVOID CONTACT WITH THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS. Unless, of course, you would like to be screamed at and insulted by someone over the phone. It is disappointing that a company such as Apple would have such poor customer service principles. This may have been a one-off incident at the end of a long shift, but to treat someone like that truly is unacceptable, no matter the circumstance or industry. Drive what ever distance you need to avoid this store, and go to the Eton (Woodmere) location. I’m sure any store will be better than this place and potentially have respect for their customers. Plus if it isn't good, at least you can get some Shack Shack while you're there.

Donny Brav

Great store, with a friendly and helpful staff! It was very clean. I did feel like i got tossed from person to person. Which i did, i guess, about 4x before getting someone to handle the situation. They were very kind and helpful. They were also very efficient and had us out of there in no time. Still having issues with the phone, but it's not their fault that i didn't get a Galaxy S!

Dale Costin

Very efficient. Friendly and smart people working there.

michael ruta

Been waiting for 30 min to buy a phone and techs look at you and never wants to take care of you. What sucks their a group that f techs talking and not doing their job. Worst ever

Tom Szudarek

Super busy, but well ran store. Mahmoud was out tech guy, did an awesome job!

Bridgette South

The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly even though they were super super busy

Scott Dougherty

Always have a positive experience there. I have bought several phones and mac's.

Brian Hiderbraun

At my age trying to stay with the times is tough. People here are very patient and explain things very well.

Steve Watson

Wide open and spacious store. Very crowded though. Couldn't find a place to park. Huge variety of product and accessories. Service was good too

Kristen Kall

Worse experience I have ever had! They would not replace my phone under warranty and then told me it was my fault one charging pin was 1 millimeter off. Make a product that last more than 8 months. Apple customer service on the phone was able to send me a new phone no problem. They were way more helpful then the store

Cory K

Always an excellent experience here with superb service. For Clevelanders and East Siders, it's WELL worth the trip v. Apple Eaton (Orange Village). Apple Eaton, UNLIKE and almost completely opposed to this Crocker location, has consistently poor service and rude/unhelpful/lying staff (including management).

marc ricker

Apple is the worst. I needed a question answered and gave them a call. I waited for 20 minutes and hung up. Decided to go the the store. I found parking and paid for it. I was approached by a Apple person and he put me in the system. I complained about my phone experience and was told they get that all the time. They only have one person answering phones. Unbelievable!!!!!!

Ann Bennett

Very knowledgeable about the product as well as the various functions of the telephone staff.

I came into the apple store in Crocker Park yesterday with technical problems. Dorey and Tabitha were so helpful and patient. They are very knowledgeable and friendly, excellent customer service!

Donald Yahner

Prompt acknowledgement as soon as I walked in, rapid customer service, able to help get my iPad back in order! Awesome experience from start to finish!

Kay Weddle

So helpful and very nice

Poor service! Bad management!

I like the set up of the store - tables designated to sell the various Apple wares with a sales rep to help those around the table in turn. Unfortunately, there are times when customers arrive who make it their life's sole passion to monopolize the time of their salesperson (and by extension of all those in line waiting to talk to the same sales person). During a recent visit, 20 minutes having elapsed watching one of these socially starved customers ask every question about a particular smart watch just shy of inquiring about the blood type of the fellow who attached the winding knob, I had plenty of time to notice several red apple shirted employees lingering along the side walls with noses in their phones not making any attempt to help our verbally hijacked sales person by offering to assist the next in line. I found this even more baffling because this was a few days before Christmas and the crowd seemed especially numerous. I got the impression that we as customers were there at the pleasure of the salesfolk and not the other way around, and that if the customers wanted their valuable assistance, the customer would darned well wait for it. The folks at this store really need find a better system than the current have-everyone-wait-for-one-salesman-while-several-other-free-employees stand-on-the-side-and-watch-their-phones method they're going with now.

Kelli Caine

Awesome just needs more parking space for such a big shopping center/plaza...otherwise it's very nice. Just please MORE PARKING!!!!!

Michelle Heard

Had a cracked screen and l was charged $150.00 everyone's else has different experience

Gordon Grunau

Made a reservation for 12:35 pm and was called within 10 minutes. Took only an hour to get my new phone battery installed. Everyone was friendly and professional. Great first experience!

Paul Vecchione

I’ve bought several items here over the past few years and have always found the staff to be friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. When you first walk in, it almost always seems busy and chaotic, but whatever system they have in place to track people coming in and making sure they get what they need, works like a charm. Always a good experience here.

Umang Banugaria

My repair took over 30 minutes more than when I was told the phone would be ready by. Also there was no way to know what the progress was or to get an estimate of how much longer things would take. My only option was to take a seat and ask every 10 minutes if my phone was ready. I hate the Apple store experience.

Jeffrey Stein

I was in there today and needed a new screen. However they said that I may need a new phone due to the damage and I was shocked. But Matt and Victoria took great care of the issue and were able to replace the screen and save me a good amount of money! A sincere and big thank you to Matt and Victoria for their friendliness, attention, and customer service!

Jonathan Church

They were super busy and as allways took time to listen and fixed my device in a timely manner. Hence why I keep buying!

George Butiri

This place is always full. It's like they hire people to come in and browse products.

Lorain Furniture

Apple will soon run the world because: 1. Their product is great 2. Their service is top notch People are willing to pay a premium for this.

Jeffrey Clark

Always a most excellent experience.

I won't go into the Apple brand or products - just this particular storefront. I've always found the folks helpful and there are certainly plenty of them. I don't have any experience with the genius bar, but just coming in and buying the odd item, things have gone smoothly.

Very impressed with service- thought I had cracked screen, was just screen protector! Covered under warranty, too. Honesty is so rarely seen these days!

Gee Batiz

Jaina Marone

Extremely helpful customer service ,they need 10 stars and I don't even own apple stuff my kids do

Dylan Serrage

It seems time is no object with the staff at this facility. They take whatever time is needed to resolve a problem. They insure you are completely satisfied before you leave. And they don't try to sell you on any products. It seems their attitude is the product sells itself, their purpose is to fix problems, demonstrate, or educate.

Lisa Delaney

I hate this place. I will never come back to this place. You can't park by the store you're going into you have to drive around people walking everywhere this place is horrible if it rains you got to walk from store to store in the rain or the cold I would never come back here if my life depended on it

Amer Hamed

Awesome stuff, Special thanks for David, who made our visit a nice experience

Patricia smythe

Don't really want to help you if don't hv the most current iphone or product. $1000.00 one ---'_____

Karen Bostwick

My daughter had her phone in recovery mode and we both didnt know what to do, so we went to this apple store and Eathan who was assisting us and got my daughters phone running! WOW!! Was this place I suggest you going for all your apple needs!! Thanks Eathan!!

Daemon Traq

Worst location. I waited for 2 hours and didn’t solve the problem. I would never ever buy another iPhone or come near an apple store

Patricia Fuller

Not a long wait. Very helpful. I am not technical person, but they were very patient.

eileen middleton
