Fast, affordable and effective. These guys are good! I was told by another large computer company in Fargo that my old Mac "wasn't worth it." I went to iCare Electronic Repair the next day. They restored my Mac to new condition and for a very reasonable price. iCare Electronic Repair is the go to computer repair shop in this area. New Review: My computer was fixed in less than 2 hours. This is a nice place to get your stuff fixed.

I had gotten my battery and charging port on my iPhone 6 replaced by them. When my charging port stopped working I went to them and got my charging port and old battery replaced. It was done within a day. Everything was great at first. But then after about 3 months I started to notice some bright spots on my screen. I later learned that these were caused by a bad replacement battery that was blemishing and applying pressure to my screen. After 4 months, the new charging port started to fail and at 5 months it didn’t work at all. Cleaning it didn’t help. My problems weren’t under their short warranty period, so I was out of luck. Maybe I just had really bad luck, that’s why I put 3 stars.

I've gone to iCare for broken iPhone/iPad screens and have purchased refurbished phones. They also repaired my son's PS4 that had a port go bad. I've never had any issues with any repair and with the PS4 we were kept informed about how long the repair would take (since we were waiting for a part to come in). The staff are always kind and courteous and get me in and out in minutes. I won't go anywhere else : )

I had my iPhone battery and Mac Book Pro battery both replaced by iCare Electronic Repair in the last month. I just happened to be near their store and my phone battery had been terrible lately, so I popped in to see if they had any thoughts on replacing the battery vs. a new phone. They were able to swap out my battery and in under 2 hours I was back picking up my device! The battery now lasts well over a day like it did when it was a new phone. The Mac Book Pro battery had to be ordered in and took about a week to receive, at which time we were having storm upon storm and other poor weather and road conditions, and I couldn't get there quickly to have them change it out. They were patient in my scheduling conflicts and worked with me to get my machine fixed up in short order when I did finally get there. Both devices were cleaned well and checkout was a breeze! I also received a diagnostics report on both devices showing everything was working- a nice side bonus that I didn't ask for but good peace of mind that my older equipment is functioning well! ICare Repair was recommended to me by a few trustworthy friends, and I highly recommend them for all of your electronic product needs!

I love these guys. Can't say enough about how pleased my wife and I have been with their service and honesty. My wife brought in an iPhone that was no longer functioning right. Sprint store told us we needed a new phone. iCare took a quick look at it and noticed the case was not seated properly. Popped it back into place and everything worked fine. No charge. Then I brought in my phone as it was having a lot of trouble recharging. Thought I needed a new charging hub and battery. They took a quick look and pulled out a piece of fuzz deep in the charging hub, which totally fixed the problem. Told me no charge. That integrity bought our loyalty wholesale. So we have been happy to bring them our cracked screens and a handful of other iPhone and iPad repairs, all with great results and reasonable price. Am considering bringing in a couple of old malfunctioning laptops, and know I'll get a straight answer. Highly recommend them.

It took just under an hour to fix it. I received an email almost right away making sure everything was sufficient and said they would be checking back with me in a few more days to double check. I thought that was very nice. I have another son who also broke his screen and I will bring his there as well.

So happy a coworker referred me to iCare Electronic Repair! I dropped my phone, and the screen cracked and wouldn't power on. Update: I dumped coffee on my laptop and the shop got it working beautifully in a few days. They are the best. I went in on a Saturday morning to have my cracked 5s screen replaced, and I was incredibly impressed with the service I received. Upon seeing the phone, the man helping me diagnosed another issue that I had been having with a sensor and offered to repair it for a discounted rate when he worked on the screen. The phone was finished ahead of schedule and works perfectly. Very impressed. I also appreciate that iCare is a veteran owned business.

I went in an hour before closing time hoping to have a microphone issue on my cell phone diagnosed. Being so near to closing time, I didn't expect to be able to be seen more less resolve the problem. Not only was the staff able to diagnose the problem, they had the necessary parts in stock and were able to fix the problem in less than an hour and at a very reasonable rate. The staff was knowledgeable, down-to-Earth and the service was high quality and reasonably priced. I highly recommend!

I took my phone to get the charging port and the glass on the back fixed. I was helped by a very polite and courteous employee, and it turns out my charging port just had lint in it so that was nice. So I just got the glass fixed and it was a decent price and it only took an hour! They told me to come back in an hour and a half buuuut I wasn't busy so I went in early and it was done! Very impressed and will go back if I have any future issues with my phone!

I called on a Friday evening to ask about replacing a battery in my iPhone and they were so courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly and explained the simple process. I dropped it off the next day and it was ready in about an hour. For around $80, I got peace of mind and the best part is I didn't have to set foot in the dreaded Verizon store!

They deleted their review page on Facebook because of my review so here it is on google! Do not go here!! Technician decided to just not put any of the screws in my phone so it caused my phone to break just from pressing on the home button. Messaged the owner about this and of course he played the nice guy saying he would handle it and call me back. Messaged him 15 days later because I did not hear anything then again 5 days after that very angry. Owner decided to tell me his personal life was keeping him from dealing with his customers(seems professional). And yes I know about the warranty, why would I bring my phone back to someone that can’t even put it together properly the first time? Would you? Oh and he told me that he believed me and then after I got loud with him he said the other people that fixed my phone made the story up. Even though I was there to watch him take it a part. They will explain to you in great detail why everything is your fault and not theirs as you can see from all the other bad review responses. Shady business!

The service at iCare is really impressive. I have used them for phone repairs and service numerous times and am always more than happy with the speediness of the service and the quality of the work, not to mention the knowledge, friendliness and professionalism of the staff. I will not take my devices to any other repair shop in the Fargo-Moorhead area. In fact, I drive 60 miles just to take my devices there because I know what I'm getting and I know I can expect excellent service.

DO NOT Go HERE. Family member brought in new iPhone because screen broke when dropped. Everything else working fine .... went to pick it up and THEY BRIKE HOME BUTTON and said “ it was damaged before” ( which it wasn’t) and “ well that can happened, she signed a waiver.” The manager actually said to me , “ well, you don’t understand the phone repair business.” She was rude and condescending and said they won’t fix it. TEERIBLE BUSINEES PRACTICE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. YOUR PHONE MAY BE WORSE WHEN YOU PICK IT UP!! And they have ZERO LIABILITY saying “ you signed a waiver. Worst encounter with ANY BUSINESS EVER. iCare was extremely helpful when my computer got thirsty and drank some water. When I called them initially they answered all my questions and even gave me a few tips since I couldn't get the computer to them for a few days. They are honest and do not make you pay an exorbitant amount when they can't fix your laptop or watersoaked phone, it's always been a small fee for them to take the time to look at it. My girlfriend brought her laptop in that was having some major hinge issues causing it not to stay open. They gave us an estimated quote on the spot and the next day we received a call letting us know that they had a few options of fixing it with price options. We agreed to the repair and the next day it was repaired at a reasonable price and working great! A few weeks later we were having some charging issues so we brought it in. We again received an estimaged quote. The next day they called us and told us that it was just the charger and when we picked it up there was no charge and they even helped us find a new charger. They have quick service, were detailed about everything, and were very nice!

Insurance deductible was more than iCare charged me and they had it done in less than 2 hours! Didn't have to send the phone away or wait for a replacement and all the data was intact. I broke my phone screen for the first time in my life. I have AppleCare, which would have been $29 to send in to Apple. I figured spending $120 here in town would be better than going 7-10 days without a phone. After reading all the reviews on this place, I decided to go here. They had all the best reviews. I left my phone there and it was done in a little over an hour. When I picked it up, the screen was fixed, but the color was off. It’s not as vivid as an iPhone 7 screen is supposed to be. I called them back to tell them this issue, the items moving on my screen had little shadows behind them, as if I was using my iPhone 5 again, zoom in and out only worked half the time, the list goes on. They offered to replace the screen for free to try and “get it closer to the original color”. I came back a second time and my screen looks the same. Nothing looks closer. My zoom works pretty well now, but now my home button is crooked. In the time it’s taken to type this, my phone has glitched 3 times in the keyboard area. Every once in a while, the keyboard just won’t pick up random letters that I’m typing. The quality of product they’re using here is horrible. When brought up at the store, they said it’s an aftermarket part, so it’ll look different than the original iPhone. Isn’t that something you think you’d tell me before I go spend $120!? If I would have known they didn’t have the right part, I would have never spent my money here. But instead, I trusted them. Now I talk to AppleCare and find out that my warranty is VOIDED, so if I want Apple to fix my screen CORRECTLY, with the right part, it’s now $149. If I could go back, I would have left my phone cracked until I was near an Apple, and had them do it. Waste of my time and waste of $120. Would not recommend to anybody looking to get a phone fixed correctly. (Fun fact, typing that last sentence, the phone glitched 4 times. Junk.) Also they told me that this screen meets Apple’s specifications. That clearly doesn’t mean anything, as using this iPhone, doesn’t even look like or resemble the qualities of a real iPhone 7. I can’t wait for Apple to fix this.

My IPhone 6 wasn't allowing me to do anything. Couldn't receive or send messages, emails, or phone calls. Nearly all apps wouldn't load. My phone was useless. iCare was able to backup, clear, and reload everything I had in just a couple hours for a very reasonable price. Okay, went here the other day and initially had a minor discrepancy. The manager was so quick to do what she could to rectify the situation and truly showed devotion to her work and those she serves. They worked well with my walking in and I believe their communication toward future clients will be much more thorough. Hopefully I won't have any other further computer issues, but if I do, it is likely I will return solely based on their dedication to professionalism and attentiveness with their follow up.

They were clear about the time frame for looking at the machine, called to explain the problem, which they had already fixed and charged me only $50.00. I thought it was a great price for a newer machine that would continually shut off during the booting process. When I explained another problem, they quickly fixed that too (installing a program for me), before I picked it up. Great shop!

I brought my wife's computer in for a clean-up and upgraded operating system. The first guy said the computer was pretty old (2008), but the computer guy said he thought he could upgrade it. We agreed on $100 + $50 for the upgrade. I was told to bring it back in on Monday, since it would not be worked on over the weekend. We needed the computer on Monday, so I brought it on Tuesday. Got it back late in the day on Thursday. By Friday we determined it was not working properly. I called and brought it in and decided to add additional RAM for $50. This, plus learning the new operating system seems to have worked. Bottom line, computer working, wife happy, I'm happy, a little frazzled, but satisfied.

My daughter destroyed her screen and was an absolute wreck. I called iCare and was immediately relieved by the person on the phone. I dropped off the phone on a Friday around 11am and received a call back around 1pm the same day stating the work was completed. Very friendly service when I dropped it off and when I picked it up. Phone screen cracked and I didn't have all my info uploaded to a cloud or on my SD card. I went in and they were able to get all my data off the phone after they had to put a replacement screen on first to get into the phone. The way the phone was disassembled and reassembled it looked like it just came out of the box. Not like replacement phones I've gotten in the past that have had the back plates a little crooked and didn't work quite right. I'm very happy with the service they provide and would recommend going here instead of waisting money on phone insurance through your carrier.

I brought in an iPhone with a cracked screen and they had it ready in under 2 hours the same day with a new screen perfectly replaced. Staff were warm and friendly and very helpful. Later in the week I experienced some unresponsiveness and ghost touching. The owner emailed me back personally and invited me to bring it back to get replaced under warranty. They replaced my screen for me and put a new tempered glass screen on for me at no cost. iCare rocks!

I went to Icare a few weeks ago and received fantastic service. I had dropped my mac air had caused a loose connection with the hardware that I personally couldn't fix so I brought it in. They were very friendly and funny and it made my experience that much better. Not only did they fix the loose connection as soon as they could, but they cleaned up a large amount of liquid damage for me that was done years ago and I had thought had been taken care of. Then, as I took it home I had some network issues and they were very patient with me as we tried to figure out the problem over the phone. If I ever have any more issues I will definitely be going back.

I wish I could give this zero stars. Went in with a cracked screen, no big deal, worked fine otherwise, and left with a malfunctioning phone. They threw a contract in my face, put my shattered old screen back on my now malfunctioning phone, and told me it was no charge. I checked my bank and sure enough $150 is gone from this company. This place is a disgrace, I watched them treat three other unhappy female customers in a similar way and only got somewhere when I put a man on speaker. DO NOT GO HERE. Pay the extra $50 to get a new phone or suck it up with the broken screen.

Spilled water on my computer. Staff told me that it was "almost impossible" to fix a laptop that got water in it, because of how many parts could get wet. Asked them to try to get all my data off it and staff said they tried, and couldn't, but then tried to send me to a third party that would be able to do it. Was told I would be called the next day. I ended up calling them 3 days later. Took my computer into another place in town that was able to completely fix my "almost impossible" to fix computer in less than 4 hours and back all my data onto an external hard drive.

So beyond thankful for iCare Repair! I spilled water on the keyboard of my very expensive laptop and was expecting the worst. I brought it to iCare Repair after reading their great reviews online and they did not disappoint! They went above and beyond to find a new keyboard for my laptop. I received personal phone calls updating me on the status of my computer. Everyone I dealt with, especially Jeff, were so kind and helpful. I was fully expecting and prepared to pay $500+ to have my computer fixed, and it ended up being 1/3 of that! They are honest and completely fair in pricing. I sent my lenovo Ideapad S400 for repair. However, in the repair process the technician accidentally broke my wiki cable & gave me the laptop with broken wifi. Fortunately, I took the laptop back and the technician ordered a replacement wifi part at no extra charge to me. These people are honest and fair. The only issue I have is with the first time they repaired it. Why didn't the technician figure out the wifi was broken after the first repair? This is my only problem. Otherwise I recommend these people wholeheartedly.

Awful experience. I brought a working phone in with a crack to get it fixed. Went in and got quoted 200 for my Google pixel 2 xl, no biggie. Hour later my phone comes back and it's cracked worse than before. The replacement is defective. THEY DONT CHECK FOR DEFECTS. Then afterwards my phone DOESNT WORK. I didn't have a working phone for 3 days. These guys did an EXCELLENT job of taking care of my issue which was bent pins on motherboard. They also were able to install the motherboard with no issues at all. They were professional, helpful and quick about resolving the issue. Don't let the prices scare you, if you need some electronics fixed IT WILL COST MONEY (Don't cheap out when it comes to repairs!). The screen of my iphone was no longer attached correctly to the body of the phone. The phone was still working fine. I learned from the staff that my battery had expanded, thus popping the entire front off the main body of the phone. $35.00 and two hours later my device was repaired. And, I learned how over charging the battery can cause such things to happen. The team educated me of proper use and repaired my phone. The office was calm and it was easy to talk to a staff member. It was nothing like waiting for a long time in a busy phone store. There was no one pressuring me to buy something new. I am happy I went instead of buying a different phone online.

I was quoted a price for a single repair. When they worked on my phone, they found 2 more issues. These were no minor $ issues! My total price was just as much as my quoted price!! I'm very satisfied! I'm still in disbelief, of this amazing service and, the price was so very low! The workers are very friendly and smile a lot! The owner is also very friendly and makes sure (obviously) that you're getting the best deal possible! The team was super helpful! I dropped my phone while playing basketball with some kiddos... one stepped on it. And then I bumped it off my ledge and it dropped down an entire level on wooden steps! Ugh!!! They fixed the screen and LCD and were able to restore all my photos!! That’s all I really cared about. And it was LESS than using the insurance I pay for through Verizon! I left my phone with them, he called me back in about half an hour to tell me that after simple cleaning the problem was solved and there were no need for the repair. Broke my screen on iPhone and paid 120 to have it fixed. Not a bad price I thought. It was fast but after picking up my phone my Touch ID and speaker stopped working. They were able to fix the speaker the next week but said the Touch ID must have been broken b4. Well it worked fine when I dropped it off. Apple told me they must have damaged the cable. Now I have a nice new screen on a worthless phone. Should have just bought a new one to begin with.

iCare Repair was amazing - so glad I found out about them. I have an iPhone 6 that had frozen up, and the typical fixes were not working. Verizon staff suggested we purchase another phone. After consulting with iCare on the phone, I dropped it off to be assessed. Less than an hour and a half later I received a call that it was fixed and fully operational. No parts were needed so it was repaired for the $25 fee. When I picked it up, they took time to make sure I was able to set it up as needed. Great service and communication. I received 3 quoted prices from them for my iPhone battery (via phone, upon dropping off my phone, and upon picking up my phone). I was quoted $35 (the lowest quoted price) to replace the battery in my phone when I dropped it off, I tried to pay before I left and they told me I would pay upon picking it up 2.5 hours later. When I got there, I was told they made an error and it was actually $50. Although they did end up honoring their quoted price, I was very unimpressed by the customer service in rectifying the error. The manager stated, “fine but I am not happy about this!” as she walked away from me after I calmly requested they honor their quoted price. In general, I felt they were rude to all customers I saw them interact with. If you’re looking for someone to treat you kindly, I would go somewhere else.

When it comes to getting my stuff repaired, be it my car, my appliances, or my electronics, I usually worry about cost, first and foremost, and how much time I'll have to be without their service. To these ends, iCare did a superior job. There is very little beating around the bush. They respond promptly to questions, are thorough, and notified me promptly when they were done fixing my device (the repair was also done expertly to my untrained eye). If you need your phone or tablet repaired and would prefer to have it done locally, look no further. This place is the real deal.

They gave an approximate turn around of 3 hours (higher than normal due to being busy with replacement batteries) and I got a call just a little over 2 hours that it was done.
