The proprietors of Blue Mountain Computers are among the first businesses I patronized shortly after moving to Hendersonville. From where I originate, we are schooled early and often to do business with local organizations for whole host of sensible reasons. That said, I called Amy and Glenn Smith, the proprietors of Blue Mountain Computers and they were able to assist me with an older PC machine that simply did not make the move to Hendersonville well. Nevertheless, I was given a diagnosis within a few days and they repaired my Dell desktop unit. Since that time nearly four years ago, I've been in contact with several people and various businesses that needed one form of computer repair or diagnostic performed on their respective machines and, without exception, my acquaintances, clients, business owners and several others have also come away from dealing with Amy and Glenn with a sense of value and their devices were repaired to their complete satisfaction. As I mentioned earlier, being a proponent of shopping and buying from our local and area merchants, I do not find it necessary to compromise my personal integrity by shopping in a larger national retailer, collecting details for computers and other related equipment and, as some do, purchase the given product online. If you want or think you want some information regarding a computer, new or refurbished with the backing of a local enterprise who pays taxes, employs local people, operates a brick and mortar store, I implore you to give Glenn and Amy a call and make arrangements to stop by their place of business. They personify the adage which suggests that the price of an item is what you pay in terms of currency, value is what you receive in return for the price. Blue Mountain Computers, Amy and Glenn promote and offer sound products and their service is impeccable. I'll also end this recommendation with the idea that Glenn and Amy seek relationships with you whereas other larger retail outlets seem only interested in their next transaction. Buy local. Seek value as much as price is important, value sustains itself far longer. Do business with people who want to have a longer term relationship with you and not just a transactional based exchange. I have found that Glenn, Amy and Blue Mountain Computers hit on all of these criteria that I use when deciding where to invest my time, efforts, energies and, of course, the ideal spot to obtain the highest value coefficient for the price.

OMG, run don't walk here if you are in need of computer repair. I had to have my retina screen replaced in my Mac (dropped it on the hinge! waah!) and I was a bit anxious because two places that I called would not even touch it and told me i had to go to Apple. It is supposedly a tough job. (expensive but i knew that and cheaper than new Mac!)After all the great reviews here, I went to Blue Mountain and man was I glad!! Yes, they are two weeks out on jobs and work on appointment only, but I see why now. They have all the work they can handle and they have to control the volume somehow. THAT SAYS A LOT! When I picked my Mac up, I did not recognize it. It was IMMACULATE, the screen was beautiful AND, Glenn "schooled" me in the most caring way. He gave me great advice that I needed to hear, ways to clean up my hard drive, etc., told me i had a good machine that i just needed to do some data management! (i am sort of a late stage dinosaur). He updated my Malware, checked security etc. Glenn's wife, is obviously an integral part of the business. The icing on the cake for me is that these two people work diligently to keep a vast volume of trashed computers out of the landfill! It costs them, but that is caring! THANK YOU Blue Mountain!!

Absolutely fantastic! Hands down the best computer repair shop around, and I've used a few... It was such a pleasure working with Glenn. He communicates extremely well, is reasonably quick, fair priced and very, very friendly.The art of treating your customers as you would like to be treated has not been lost on Glenn. I had a horrifically labor intensive recovery on a crashed hard drive for my business computer. There were a lot of important files on the drive that I could not afford to loose, which is what I feared would be the case. With Glenn's knowledge and expertise, he was able to recover all the data I needed and really saved my butt! No more Geek Squad surly attitudes and waiting for weeks and weeks and weeks to get my computer back. Blue mountain computers is the only shop I will ever use. They have EARNED my business. Glenn, you are the MAN! Thank You!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Blue Mountain Computers and the owners Glenn and Amy. Aside from being caring and compassionate people, they are incredibly welcoming and professional. I called Glenn to get assistance with my MacBook and he was able to schedule me for an appointment that afternoon after I explained the urgency of my situation. He was incredibly knowledgeable, concious of our financial concerns, and detail oriented (to the extent he made sure my MacBook updates would fit our current printer- in avoidance of leaving us to buy a new printer). While in the office, they we're wonderfully patient and accommodating for my toddler. Glenn made recommendations for the repair, with specifics in my mind related to my upcoming technology needs for grad school. Due to a school deadline, they were able to complete the repair and update in a rapid time frame (which helped me out tremendously). The work done on the MacBook was very reasonably priced, considering all that was done. I would HIGHLY recommend Blue Mountain Computers to anyone and everyone needing computer service. We will definitely be back to have our iMac fixed in the future. Thanks again Glenn and Amy!

Blue Mountain Computers are my go to for my personal and work computers and lap tops. After a recent download from Microsoft, all but slowed my laptop to a crawl due to bugs and unnecessary installation of programs, BMC was able to save my information and make the laptop work like a charm.
