REVIEWS OF Apple Southpoint IN North Carolina

David Gover

Good service, friendly staff, convenient appointment service, very busy.

Chris Cancilla

Very nice people and a descent place to go.

Tony Fernandez

9+ hours in store and on phone to resolve a frozen iPhone 10. Final solution was to replace it. Apple failed to swap over SIM cards so I still have a phone that doesn’t work. Their solution? “Just drive to Verizon and get a Sim cars”. Thanks Apple Store! You are officially worse than Verizon. Won’t ever purchase from you again.

Elizabeth Lansing

People who work there are nice, but there's a long wait to make a purchase. I went in twice for the Apple Watch and left both times after about 10 minutes of standing around waiting. No purchase.

jazz mybell

Too busy to be efficient.

Nathan Faulk

I personally am a diehard android user but I must admit the Apple store at Southpoint does a great job with in-store customer service. Went to buy new MacBook for the soon-to-be grad student and because I was so impressed with the staff I decided to upgrade the wife's iphone, also. Worth the trip for us.

Hampton Smith

I called the number listed to find out how busy the store was because of other previously terrible experiences with long waits. I thought I was doing myself a favor. I had to speak with a robot at first, nbd, transferred to a lovely person named Ashely, but was surprised to find she wasn't actually at the store(?), she then transferred me to the stores main number. I sat on the phone while it rang for TEN MINUTES, before it JOLTED AND HUNG UP ON ME. I then dialed the robo number again to let them know there was a problem, but then at the point where I would have talked to Ashley, they hung up on me after a few rings. I guess I was then flagged as someone who wanted to file a complaint because my next few calls were met with the same response. Hung up on a few more times I came here to let y'all know this store and its customer support systems are a F****** HEADACHE. STAY AWAY. And if you want a computer just go to Best Buy. Let this store rust, not like Apple needs anymore real estate.

My wife bought an iPhone online to pick it up here. We arrived and checked-in, the staff asked us to wait by the TV. Twenty minutes later nobody came to see us. I asked about it, the staff apologized the delay and that a representative would come shortly. It took another 20 min of wait. The store was not even full.

Srinivas Allada

Was there for a battery replacement. There is no information except wait time is 3 to 4 hours and after four hours they can check battery availability. Hoping for better experience next time.

Angela Boctor

This store is always ridiculously busy but the way they manage their customer care is fantastic. Despite the store being busy it’s not too difficult to speak with a support person and get fast service or repairs.

Kim Nguyen

Possibly the worst customer service I’ve ever received. The employees were so rude, they say they don’t have time to wait for you for 2 minutes, cut you off, send you to somebody else and then you see them literally standing in the corner doing nothing. They act like you’re a HUGE hassle to them when you ask any question. They spend 10 minutes trying to figure out their own system. I’ve never seen an employee brush off someone buying their product before. I’d rather go back to using smoke signals than go through the trouble of getting another phone from this store.

Space Buddha

Great service

Tom Rose

Apple Southpoint. Thank you so much for helping me service all my electronics. You’re practically the only retail store I ever visit any more. Please please fix the availability of staff. It’s impossible to book an appointment online because the machine only lets you book out a week and the list is constantly full. The only reliable way I know to get service is to show up early and wait in line at opening which is a tremendous waste of time. Just let us book appointments.

Bill Murray

Can’t get ahold of them in this number

Charles Bass

I couldn't get wait on

Craig Reese

Very organized and the staff are always calm and helpful even over whelmed with customers.

Kent Jernigan

Apple has lost there groove. I really wish you could give 0 stars, because this place doesn't even deserve 1 star. My experience lately shows that Im just not an APPLE consumer anymore. There stores have too many issues. When you go in to fix a problem. YOU SHOULD NOT BE TRATED LIKE THIS. I mean waiting 20 minutes to speak to someone, then they make you wait 100-120 minutes for service. WOW......

Luis Montero

I found everything I wanted and more and the people were so helpful on what my friend and I needed so yeah go apple

James Harris

Great service. Great location. Expert staff.

Thomas Nechyba

Incredibly incompetent. I took my MacPro that overheats whenever it goes to sleep there twice so far. The first time, they tinkered with my settings and told me I was all set. I had done most of that already and told them I was skeptical but they sent me off. Nothing changed. I went a second time -- same thing -- they blamed it on software I had installed. I had previously disabled that software but they thought I probably hadn't done it right. Within an hour of me leaving, it was clear the problem persisted. Since I was still at the mall, I went there to have them take the computer to be sent in for repair -- and was told I would have to wait two and a half hours for an appointment that they were squeezing me in for. I had to be elsewhere and left. The problem continues.

Maureen Bowen

Made appt to get battery replaced on iPhone - only appt available was 4:30 on 12/24. Went to appt and was told that they could not do the work today as they were too far behind. Asked me to come back and drop off phone Wednesday am - 12/26. Wasted holiday time to get this done on Christmas Eve and now you want me to come back to the mall on one of the busiest shopping days because you screwed up and shouldn’t have taken reservations so late on the day? Shame on you

Evelyna Gallop

I came in early Saturday morning to buy an Apple Watch. Five minutes of waiting to “check in”, four Apple reps, three customers with crying children and an hour of my life I’ll never get back—I finally purchased an Apple watch. Was it worth it? No. I highly recommend if you’re buying an Apple product to buy it online.

Boo Brogden

I had the best experience ever today with Anita, who helped me set up my new iPad. Not only that, she loaded everything for me including my new headphones, so that I don't have to do anything at all except have fun. She's brilliant!!!! and the best customer service I've ever received anywhere! (Everybody should ask for her!) Thanks again, Anita!

Thomas Nielsen

Switching to Android. Had appointment but was turned down by genious who said they were too busy to fix phone. Wasted 2 hours of driving.

Karan Koti

Good ambience, my wife has a lot of apple products, this has been our one stop shop..

rashika mishra

I am from dallas. My iPhone xs had some connectivity issues. I had shown it to the genius bar at an apple store in dallas and they had asked me to try a few things, if the problems are not fixed then I was asked to come again. I came to Raleigh for the holidays and my phones connection issues became worse. So decided to go to southpoint apple store. The first time I went their, it was 7 PM and I was told they have stopped taking iPhone walk-ins for the day and informed me to come at 10 Am the next day. When I went there the next day at Ql10 AM, they had some battery special and new phone special going on and I was asked to come 5hrs later. I told them that my phone had already been diagnosed by a dallas technician and they can find the notes in thei database, I just need to exchange it but I was told again to come 5hr later. Seriously, Apple I know now why your sales are low, you are not loyal to your existing customers and that is why you are suffering. They should try and understand a customers problems and help them instead of making them jump hoops.

Cornelio Hernandez Perez

Good attention at customer sdrvice

Tonny Tonny

Excellent customer service nice environment the personal very helpful

henry fernandez

It would be most helpful if in your reviews you would identify the store by address where you received the service that you are praising or complaining about. Do not assume that we can figure it out.

Gayle Gertsch

I made the most amazing discovery this week! My iphone screen was shattered and the phone no longer worked so I strategically was at the Apple Store at Southpoint 20 minutes prior to opening time to try to alleviate the 3 hour waiting nightmare I read about on line. They were pretty efficient; sent a guy out in front of the store to register those of us who were already there in line, and once they opened the store they did give me a technician pretty fast. But unfortunately the technician was unable to help me because I did not have my password with me and they couldn't get into the system without it. After leaving the store I remembered that my husband had gotten a new battery for his phone at Batteries Plus and found that they do repairs on all electronics. So rather than play the waiting game again back at the Apple Store I went over to Batteries Plus and my repair was made on the spot in less than an hour --and for less than half the cost of what Apple had quoted me! (Plus Apple would have kept my phone 2-3 days!) Batteries Plus ran the systems to make sure everything worked and my phone is like new! As an added bonus, at Batteries Plus you don't pay until your device is repaired because if they can't fix it there is NO CHARGE! I call that No Risk!!! From now on Batteries Plus will be my first go to place for any device repair! Note: The only repair they can't make is for water damage, but then Apple can't repair that either. Sorry, Apple Store, I know you're trying, but I just had to share this great find!

Austin Semmel

So I have fairly mixed reviews from this store. I purchased a phone and received the level of service that I would expect from Apple. Nothing more nothing less...but when I came back another time asking questions about the 2018 MacBook Pro, I thought I was more qualified to work in the store than the rep I was talking to. She barely even knew the difference between RAM and storage. Idk. The other guy that I talked to (after coming back a different day to ask the same questions) was much better! He was beyond helpful and I was very glad to have spoken with him. So I suppose it's hit or miss here. The inconsistency is the reason for 3 stars. I expect any expert rep in an Apple store to know what they're talking about.

Hamidmokhtari252 Hamid

It’s a very bad store I have seen in my life, very poor customer service. Please don’t waste your time to go there just order online because they would waste your time.

Mike Dellerman

Actually didn't take to long to get help. CARs friendly and sort of helpful. Once again, they told me they can't help with computer problem and recommended another place 30 miles away. Took another star because of poor location. Had to drag my 60 pound computer from far away parking lot to store front.

The customer service is atrocious. Every time that I have been here there is an outrageously long wait. Last week my daughter made an appointment and forwarded the confirmation to my husband. When he arrived, they said that they were unable to find the appointment using the confirmation number. So, he left, and my daughter rescheduled for this week. I just called to confirm before I drive there: first I was told that there was no appointment, then that the serial number that I read to them and they repeated back to me was incorrect, and then, finally, that they did see the appointment and, oh, that serial number actually was correct, it just hadn't "come up" at first. What? They were unable to give me a name of a person to speak to at the store. So, I will go tonight, and I feel 100% confident that they will tell me again that we don't have an appointment and that our laptop doesn't actually exist. The poor quality of Apple's customer service is exceeded only by the cable company!

Sawyer Crossan

Staff is nice - when you're finally encountered. Ive been in the store twice in two months to pick up pre-ordered items. Ive been told to wait at a certain area of the store based on what product I'm picking up. I wait, and I wait. Theres no rhyme or reason on how they find out if youve already been helped or if you're still waiting. You just hope you get lucky and someone finally stops to communicate with you. There needs to be a better system for pickups, until then - this place is not preferred over other retailers with the same product.

David Gover

Good service, friendly staff, convenient appointment service, very busy.

Karly Schmidt

I had an excellent experience today at the Genius Bar with Adam and Shicole. They helped me to bring my late-2013 MacBook Pro back to life after a cat-induced mishap left it unable to boot up - I wasn't sure if my data could be salvaged, and they managed to save it all! They were both helpful, professional, and patient throughout my entire time at the Bar, which is saying something since it took me quite awhile to back up my disk once Adam accessed it. Thank you both for making my day!

Chris Cancilla

Very nice people and a descent place to go.

What's the point on have those stores if the service is mediocre, I prefer to buy online now, if you are going to say you don't have something or we have to wait or come other day is better to say it in a way we can feel you care but those guys they apparently prefer to hang up there like some club and not satisfies costumers, it's like they don't like us to go to the store, is better to close those stores so they can waist time somewhere else

Unacceptable one hour wait for a salesperson, with no option to text or call you when your turn is up. Basically held hostage in a crowded, noisy space with no place to sit. Several customers left vowing not to return. Staff, though, were very pleasant and apologetic, despite the lost sakes. Unfortunate and disappointing.

I am not an apple fan at all, but as my son wanted a macbook I thought I will go with him. We know what we wanted. I thought it would take 10 mins to go in, buy what I want and get out. I dont need any sales pitch as I know what I want. We enter here and they tell us 50 minutes wait. I explained that I just want to buy what I like and they said there is no sales person available. I dont need any sales people. I just want to buy and get out. So.. I asked that would you call/text me so I can go to the store next to them and come back? NO they said. We have to keep waiting here and when they call our name and we are not there then we go back to the queue at the bottom. Well, I asked that would it be exact 50 mins? In that case I can go out and be back in 30 mins. They said No, we cannot say if its exact 50 mins. Spending $2500 was not easy at this store! Why would anyone ever do this to themselves! Thought I will like Apple once I am at the store.. but I guess my hatred to them just got worse. Oh yeah.. not to forget - there are mosquitoes in the store! 50 mins of getting bitten by them and spending $2500!. So much for my son... Part 2 - When our turn came no one called out our name. We waited for around 45 mins and went back to check how long it would still take? To our surprise our name was no more on the list. I guess the employee didn't really like us. They had removed us from the list. Luckily the lady who we asked remembered our name on the list and helped us get someone in next 5 mins. The employee who helped us was really good and got our checked done in 10 mins as we knew what we wanted. 10 mins is what it should take to buy something when you know what you want. And making your customers wait 50 mins for a 10 min job is not something I would want.

Austin Semmel

Problem with mac keyboard, The last time we dropped in they said they could not take care of us and we could walk-in any other day and it was better that we came early. Today we reached before it opened. They sent us back saying they did not have the resources and asked us to setup an appointment

It took a few steps with Apple, Inc. to schedule a battery replacement, but when it was scheduled and ready to go at the Apple Store at Southpoint, every part of the process with the Store met or exceeded my expectations. I'm a bit confused about the three star average here, and I'm happy to average in my five stars based on my experience.

IF YOUR IPHONE BECOMES JUNK, RESTORE FROM ITUNES ON WIFI! I went in 4 times, and even bought another iPhone. They never told me to do this. It is over an hour drive to get to the store. They aren't very helpful and never told me this, even before taking my better iPhone and giving me one that is in worse condition as a replacement. Anyways, I cut my review short to offer the tips instead of all the problems I had in the store.

సాయి కిరణ్ కడారి

don't want to give at least one review.. gave the Mac for repair..before repair they mentioned data won't be lost..because the issue is with logic board but after the repair they mentioned the data was lost..gave for repair only to get the data and its $620 waste of money, time and energy..never ever give a repair at this store.

Kavyasri Kondaveeti

Worst customer service ever. Appointments are not regarded at all. They will make you wait, even though there are multiple free agents joking round with each other or other charming customers which are already being serviced or helped with.

Michael Phillips

Helpful, engaging staff... made sure I made a well-informed purchase even though I walked in minutes before closing!

Att Att

Horrible Three hours and finished losing all my data on my piece of junk iPhone 6s. What happens to apple?

Holly

The guys who helped me were very nice but I was quoted one hour for a new battery (I had an appointment time) and it was more like 1.5 hrs. I’ve needed a new battery for several months and dreaded going to this noisy store to wait for it to get done. Then I get home and find out my Touch ID isn’t working (fingerprint password) and now I have to go back and probably wait another 1.5 hrs while they fix their mistake. Ugh.

Angie Johnson

I have a brand new iPhone XR. That does not work properly and had to drive 35 minutes to the store for diagnostic testing . A new phone should work properly . In The end I was told there were no dropped calls recorded . Well my husband tried to call 6 times that day and all calls were disconnected . They finally agreed to order a new phone and was told once it was in they would hold for 5 days . I let the “ specialist “ know I was going on vacation . I was told no problem let them know and they would hold it longer . I was also told he would make a note about it . No one ever called me . I called 9 days after order was placed to check on it and was told order was cancelled. They claim they tried to call me . Nope didn’t call me just cancelled my phone replacement . No one can answer a phone there at the store and the tech at the call center can’t replace my phone without a service fee and a hold on my credit card . Really ?? A $900 device not working and I have to pay you ?! This is ridiculous and terrible service.

safia gagaz

Justin was the one who helped us today. He is nice, friendly and very knowledgeable. The store was very clean. In my opening they need more employees at this location.

Danny B

We were helped by a gentleman who was blind (I forgot his name). He was great and answered all of our questions with honesty. He is an amazing salesman and funny too.

This is a regional Apple Store for Durham, Chapel Hill and most of Raleigh. The store is busy during expected times-post 5pm weekdays, weekends and Holidays- yet I am always greeted by a team Store player before I get past the MacBook Pro table. The stock is attractively displayed and well lit. So many visit to have recalls addressed-by appointment- and the Apple employees are well trained on the Apple triage process-schedule outside store by phone meetings for the majority of IPad, iPhone service issues-that present as walk ins and address the scheduled meetings to replace batteries as priorities, along with walk in or scheduled sales opportunities. I rate this store 4 stars instead of 5 as I have yet to make a purchase. Service and browsing visits thus far.

Marcus Riddick

Sent an email to me letting me know my repair on my laptop would be free ($0.00), and upon my arrival let me know that it is magically back to the original amount I was quoted. Granted I was fully prepared to pay this from the outset but this is false advertising and HORRIBLE customer service for a brand like Apple. I never truly feel like I have a great experience at this store and this latest visit has cemented that fact for me. Thanks for nothing.

lakshmanan arumugam

Very helpful staff and they help me lot

Michael Foster

if I could give 0 stars I would. I have been a long time Apple user and the customer service I received today was par with a cable company or a wireless carrier. Apple has gotten too big for their britches and have lost control of what used to be excellent customer service. I scheduled a battery replacement appointment on their website and never received a conformation email so I called. Thankfully I did call. So a heads up, when you click all of the right buttons to schedule an appointment for a battery repair, it is not for a repair, it is for an assessment. I have a message in my Settings > Battery that tells me that I need a battery replacement, I don't need to take off from work for the Genius Bar to tell me. Then you have to wait another 3-5 days for them to order the battery. Their customer service representatives are rude and really don't care that their website is misleading. They are making so much money at our expense. So still no battery and only a slim hope of ever seeing one. At this point I am ready to throw away my Apple watch and buy a Pixel 2 phone. After reading more reviews, I see that I am not alone. I used to get great service in this store and from online support, but in recent times not so much. Really think about your $1000 purchase from someone who cares zero about their customers.

Farnoosh Brock

Everything the other unhappy reviewers said is true about this place and more. Why does it take 45 minutes of wait time to buy something when there is tons of staff to help you? If it’s because Apple wants you to wait. Apple wants you to know who’s boss. Apple wants you to know that you have no other options and therefore they can be jerks about it. It’s because they can. Who cares if the staff is friendly, and I don’t even think they are that friendly, when you have to wait and waste your time and they are not willing to do anything to expedite it? Horrible horrible horrible experience here no matter what we were doing. It’s the only guarantee: Come on in, we promise to make you wait because we care nothing about you but we are friendly about it. A horrible experience every time.

Tersha Cox

I've gone to the store twice in a week to be told they can't help me and they could have. They need to train their employees better. Had to get a supervisor to assist me and solve my problem. Never buying any Apple products again.

Jiyan Ma

The worst experience at Apple store!!! The staff around iPhone table seems discrimination on foreign customers, and kept saying my phone was from 3rd party enclosure so that it couldn’t be traded in (which actually is not true and with no evidence). Because I’ve just come back from the Apple Campus at Silicon Valley with an appraised price and hope the new phone would cost a lower tax in NC. They even asked me to try another store, stating the policy at Southpoint just went what they said. Guess what, I got successfully trade-in from the Raleigh store

Krzysztof Janiszewski

This is the worst Apple Store I have been to. The staff is somewhat unfriendly, but I don’t blame them as much, since it’s always packed and they need to deal with a lot of customers. I wish there would be another store closer to my house.

Emerson Jaleel

Very good staff . I got the help I needed immediately... even when it was busy.

philip dandridge

Tried to RIP me off!! I had a bad iPhone button they said was to expensive to fix and upsell me a new phone. I went and bought an android

Mercedes Gonzalez

I went on a Friday night so of course it was crowded. But I was helped after 40 minutes and all of my questions was answered.

Shayna Jacobs

Called specifically to find out about walk-in wait times, was given a round-a-bout answer (told the quicker I got there the better). Drove 1.5 hours to get there and they said they weren’t adding to the wait. Got there at 5pm, they don’t close till 9.

Stephen Colangelo

Always busy but Bruce was very pleasant upon picking up some items.

Yanic Motte

Too many people. Not enough employee. Messy shop. Be prepared to wait. That's the true apple experience.

Faisal Syed

If you walk by and see the store full it’s because everyone’s waiting to be served. They expect customers to wait around for an hour or so if they haven’t already prebooked an appt. When I did book ahead (first available appt was after a week), I turned up at 6.47pm for a 7pm appointment and was told to come back at 7pm! Another time I turned up at 7.15pm and was told I’d missed my appt and had to rebook. The staff’s attitude totally sucks which adds to the flavor of this place: sour.

Carmen Navarro

Great staff, very friendly and attentive. Glad to be a customer at this store.

Maria Castillo-Marte

After waiting from about 1pm to 5pm to actually talk to someone I was given 2 business cards to a third party who can attempt to fix my iPhone 7. Admittedly, they informed me that my model has a defect and that it's likely I wont get my stuff off the phone. Guess what I was in there for? I had made several attempts get my data off my phone and here they are telling me it's my fault for not getting my data off my phone. Your phone is full it's your fault. Our product wont allow you to remove data but it's still your fault. I've been an avid Apple fan for a long time. It's over Apple. I'm done with with abusive relationship. You legit have the worst products, I only feel bad for the poor nice people who work there and aren't trained to do anything past making us wait to give us the bad news that they can't do anything for you but these other people can. Perhaps these third parties should make tech devises because Apple has given up. If anyone wants to avoid the waiting here are the business cards they'll give you.

Caitlin Beheler

There was only two staff members who were nice. However, I was trying to purchase the XS when it launched. I got so many different stories why I couldn’t purchase it or some excuse. It literally did not make since whenever I am an authorized user on my families account. I avoid going to this Apple Store unless I really have to.

Nathan Nayagam

Best company ever

Ashley Stephens

The only place worse than the Apple Store, and in my case the Southpoint Durham NC store, is the DMV. 4 days to make an appointment then told 4 hours to replace a battery on a 6s because they are busy. So much for an appointment. Good luck luck ya'll. Remember, to Apple, you are just a payday not a customer.

Alexander McAleer

When purchasing my Apple Watch on January 6, my experience was mediocre. The store was packed and I felt like the Apple employees or “specialists” were not that helpful and somewhat stuck up. I get it, it’s Apple and if you work there you sometimes act like you’re cool and stuff. I really got that impression. But despite of that, I found someone who actually cared about my purchase and had a friendly conversation with the nice women who helped me purchase my Apple Watch. Unfortunately I don’t remember her name. Anyways Apple is a cool company and they surely get paid well but don’t be stuck up. I’m not saying all the employees are like that but the ones I encountered and talked with despite my later encounter with the women surely felt like this.

Faruk Cirit

Fast and quality service.

Luke

Nothing is labeled. If you are trying to buy something small (phone case, screen protector, etc.) you are much better off doing it online, or buying from a cheaper, third party alternative.

Joe Smith

Horrible customer service!! After an initial assessment, I was told my hard drive was the issue. Was told to purchase another hard drive and they could transfer the data from the old to the new. Set up an appointment to come in after I made my online purchase. When I went in for the appointment, I checked in, but after that no one ever came to help. After waiting 30 minutes, I left, since I had other things to do. Went back today, and was told that was something they could not do. Says they don't do that type of service. The initial "genius" who waited on me, was not there that day of course. Basically feel as I was lied to about what they can do. Will not purchase from this Apple store or seek any new Apple products in the future. The "service" was laughable.

Tyree Arnold

If you have a couple extra minutes, I suggest that you go to the Crabtree valley Apple Store. With all the personnel that works there anyone would assume they would be helped in a reasonable time. I drove to south point two weeks ago about my AirPods case. I waited that time for over and hour before I got helped. Finally the guy told me that they didn’t have any in inventory and to come back on the 15th. Now fast forwarded to the 15, I drive back to south point and wait another 45 minutes just so they could tell me that they still did not have them on hand. Then to put the icing on the cake while I’m waiting to be helped, you see countless staff laughing and lallygagging around while people are standing waiting to get helped. I understand that those people might not be able to fix our problems, but it just looks bad when the customer does not feel as the top priority while staff are walking around conversing with one another.

Jonathan Breazeale

Went in to have MacBook Pro fixed. Technician looked at it and quoted me for 475. 3 days later I receive an email saying they need to change the price to 755 because the technician missed something. Called the store 3 times and was on hold for so long the call disconnected

Zane Holdstock

The lack of actual OS knowledge in the staff is shocking.

Rebecca Keppler

It's super busy even during week, but service was great

Chandler Smith

On a new phone purchase they didn't correctly activate the sim card, ask if I had any 2-factor authentications to transfer, or test to see if the new phone worked. Returning to the store, they said they were too busy to fix it and suggested I visit a Verizon store to activate the sim card more quickly. Lots of time wasted. Very disappointed. I expect more from Apple

Michelle Louie

Absolutely terrible customer service. Came early for my 6:30 pm appointment to replace my iPhone battery. Although there were numerous agents in the store, none of them made eye contact or even tried to look interested in helping me. A couple of them were joking around with each other and another couple were standing on the sidelines in the store staring off into space. I finally caught one agent's attention and he said I couldn't be checked in because I was too early. I come back at my appointed time and am told to "wait somewhere over there" and someone will come to help me. 30 minutes later, I get up to ask for help again. This time, I am walked over the to side of the store, my information is collected and again told to wait. Another 20 minutes passes; someone approaches me and takes down my information after asking me all the same questions the first agent did. He tells me that my phone won't be ready for 2 HOURS. OK, I have no choice. I leave my phone with them and go out to the mall to pass the two hours walking around. I come back 30 minutes before the 2 hours is up and again, no one in the store greets me or asks if I can be helped. I take a seat and figure I will wait - they took down what I look like and said they will come find me when my phone is ready. 2.5 HOURS in total passes until I ask an agent to check on the status of my phone. She looks into her iPad and turns out my phone was ready 45 minutes before! So I wasted another 45 minutes of my life in this godforsaken store for no reason, simply because they could not be bothered to do they job or keep their word. I finally get my phone back and my screen protector is cracked! I know that it was not cracked before because I had just changed it in preparation for the appointment. At this point, I'm so sick of spending 3.5 hours on what should have been a simple errand that I just leave. I have made a formal complaint to Apple. TLDR: Do not come here if you can at all help it. Literally try everything else. Really, truly, it's not worth it.

Kelly Andres

After waiting for over an hour when they said they were ready for me, they did not explain to me what the problem was with my iPhone, and took it overnight. A week later while on vacation my phone goes completely black. I took it into the apple store where I was visiting and they said whoever worked on my phone before left plastic and a sticker inside my phone, things were not where they were supposed to be, and they did not shut my phone properly so wires inside were bent. I have to now ship out my phone because of what they did to it at this apple store. My phone is an iPhone X and I have had more problems with this phone because of this apple store than any other phone I have ever had.

Fei Hu

I went to this store to get the Apple Watch Series 2 swelling battery fixed. Now the new trick of the genius there is -- after reading the serial number on the original box, told me that the Apple Watch is Series 4 watch and "does not have defective battery ". (yet) So I need to pay $2?? to fix it or I should by a new one -- which he think is a better solution in my case. This genius clams that he is the support manager and represents Apple Inc. official answer to all technical issues.. Now my new question: Is the Company APPLE, the SouthPoint Mall or the Location to be blamed?

David Stroud

Learned about new MacBooks

Mark AM

Always slow, was told 20-40 minutes wait and it took an hour and a half. This is a consistent problem at this location. They need to add more staff

Angela Walter

Extremely rude schedule manager. When I arrived I was told the wait for help would be 20 min. 30 minutes later, as I watch severa staff working extremely hard but other staff chatting endlessly, I asked about the queue and was told, “To be fair ma’am, we told you it would be an hour.” To which I said, “Actually - no, I was told it would be 20 min”. The non-customer-friendly schedule manager then replied, “Well, it’s an hour now”. I recommend folks try a different store. No concern at all for customer service here.

Ananth tacob

Generally when my daughter drags me into an Apple store it ends up costing me mucho dinero, it hurts less than saying US dollars. I got out unscathed. Oh great one in the sky why is this store 500 miles from me? In reality it's very much like most Apple stores, friendly young reps well versed in the techno-geek language that provide good info with not a lot of high pressure sale strategies.

Shane Lukas

Today, I brought in my iPhone 7 for a battery replacement because the battery was sluggish, but otherwise, the phone was working just fine. While my appointment was at 1:30pm, they didn't actually have me to a rep for another 45 minutes. At that time, they took my phone and told me it would be 90-120 minutes until I got it back with the replacement battery. At this time, they did NOT tell me that the phone might be returned in worse condition than it was provided. There was no reason to think my phone had water damage (and that is noted on the report). I returned 2 hours later, and I was told that my phone had had water damage. I couldn't know this, and the phone itself had never been submerged. At worst, I used it in the gym and sweat near the phone. Water resistant, I am told, but there was nothing that suggested it had been compromised so why would I anticipate what happened next? When I was told this, I was essentially told I was expected to pay 350 for the replacement device. Now, I have insurance on the phone to cover things like that - and the insurance replacement was less (150-200). Also, the phone was working fine, so I opted to take my phone home and assumed I could just deal with the sluggish battery until I upgraded in the coming months... But no. I got to my car to find out that the home button didn't work. (Since then, also the screen doesn't work.) I went back inside and made it clear they needed to put my phone back the way it was provided. The only thing I asked was a battery replacement. With the phone being compromised (which I also now doubt because the incompetency of the staff was just extraordinary), the floor rep now told me that they weren't responsible for the fact that the phone no longer works. So, if I understand it correctly, if I bring a phone in to get a battery replaced and the phone has an issue due to something I could not have known. Then, they can't make the repair, which I can deal with. But if I don't want the proposed solution, I get a phone that's destroyed so I am forced to buy another? By this time, I have already had to move several phone meetings and one new client call, and I am irate. They take the phone in the back and get the accessibility home button on my phone (and as I said, now the screen itself is no longer responsive) and they floor manager basically says I am making the cheap choice because I want to use my insurance because they literally broke my phone and wouldn't repair it and I didn't want to pay the Apple premium when I was already paying for insurance from my cell carrier. I have the replacement phone coming tomorrow, but I cannot express how angry and disappointed I am in this store, its staff, and I am considering what other avenues I have available to draw attention to this. The only reference made to the fact that I might get a more broken phone back was in an email that was sent after surrendering my phone (when I don't have a phone to check the message!?!)... Just disgusting. And it really felt like I was being railroaded into a purchase I did not want to make. I am a creative professional, and I have a lot of Mac products in my mix. However, this not only poisons the idea of superior customer service, it suggests a far more nefarious strategy in handling and standing by their products. Terrible staff, terrible experience.

The staff here makes me feel like I’m part of a family. Prior to purchasing a new phone and MacBook, I made multiple visits to test products, ask technical questions, and pose what-ifs scenarios. Everyone is so welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about their work. It’s honestly an amazing place just to visit. Also, I must highlight the diversity of the employees. It is evident that management hires folks with varying levels of abilities and does not discriminate based on sexual/gender/other orientations. As a professional and social worker, it is inspiring to see this level of inclusivity, especially in a corporate environment. I hope all stores follow the example set at the Durham location. I dont like Apple

Ryan Bailey

I needed to take my iPhone in for a battery replacement and after reading some of the recent reviews here, I was worried that it was going to be a painful experience. I set everything up online and showed up when the store opened on a Tuesday morning. There was a line of about 20 people outside ahead of me and I feared the worst. Instead, I was in and out in 15 minutes. The store was well staffed and I only waited 6-7 minutes for my turn with an employee, Kelly. Kelly was very clear, friendly, and helpful. Expecting a long wait for the repair, I left and went to work. Ultimately, it the work took about an hour, but I didn't return until the evening after work for pick-up. At that time, I was in and out in 5 minutes. So far, everything is working great with the new battery. In all, it was a smooth experience and I had good customer service. Maybe it just depends on who helps you or what day/time you're in the store, but I didn't encounter any of the problems with rude employees or longer than expected wait times that others reported.

Melissa Watson

What an unusually difficult and challenging experience for a first time visitor. No one greeted me and I had to wait almost 30 minutes once I found the "Genuis Bar" to even be acknowledged, although I checked in and had an appointment. I was terribly tired after work and this experience reinforced the notion that Apple is not always worth the price! I came here to have my son's phone repaired because he is an avid Apple user. I would never pay the price for the experience that I had just to say I have an Apple phone. Please remind your associates that it is better to not shake a hand and simply say hello than to shake a hand and act as though it is something that you're being forced to do. There is little worse than a weak handshake. The associate who greeted me touched my hand as though he was afraid he might catch something. I gave it three stars because the service on the actual repair was exceptional. In addition, the associate who closed my final repair was very pleasant,, and for the first time in the 2 hours it took to complete the whole process, I felt appreciated. How disappointing! If this is Apple then Apple has come far from what it used to be in regards to its claims to be the the best in the business.

Ashley Frazier

I am so thankful fo the amazing customer service that I received last night! My husband is currently at Duke hospital after having heart surgery and my phone randomly died! I was in a panic because I had no way to keep in touch with family! They took me right in 10 minutes before closing and tried to bring my phone back but they were unsuccessful, however they took the time to find me a replacement and set it up! It was 9:40 when I walked out and I was floored by the customer service! I can’t thank them enough for what they did! I am forever grateful!!!!

With having a blind child, Dave at the Durham store is great. He helped my son with his iPhone a couple years ago and today helped him with his apple watch. Won't go anywhere else.

Quick and friendly service even during the busy holiday season. Why can't every store be like the people working at the Apple Store? Effecient, friendly and handsome.

Christina Hinshaw

Very personable staff and high-quality customer service.

Too long waiting time without any explanation for someone who showed up on time for Genius Bar appointment. If you don’t take care of one customer, you will lose 100 customers behind her.

I think it’s silly that I simply want to buy a computer (I know what I want- here’s my credit card) and they tell me the wait is 45 minutes to talk to ‘someone in sales’. Good products, bad retail concept.

Worse store ever. Terrible system. Even with appointment plan to spend hours here. First time I went was to get a battery replaced in my I phone. They said I needed an appointment and gave me one 2 hours later. Went back at appointed time and waited 30 minutes for them to tell me it would be another 3 hours to have battery replaced!!! Next time I just went in because I wanted to purchase an I pad. I knew exactly what I wanted and just wanted to purchase. Told to wait on 1 line to give my name and then sent over to I pad table to wait for someone. After waiting 20 minutes I gave up and went down the street to Target and purchased I pad which was on sale for $80.00 less in 5 minutes. Won't ever step inside this store again!!

This was the worst experience ever for my mother and me. I work during days so my mom who is 65 and doesn't speak much English went to the store to change the battery on hey iPhone. I told her to call me and put me on the phone with a representative if she doesn't understand something. She called me being very anxious that the customer service representative that was "helping" her would ignore her direct request to talk to me to explain the situation. He would just continue explaining the same thing over and over again and ignore my mom's requests to talk to me. He wouldn't even say something like "I can't talk to your son for such reasons", he would just continue repeating his words like a robot. Again my mom is 65 and she speaks very limited English. Eventually I told her to put the phone on the speaker and started talking directly to the guy, and only then he explained everything to me. My mom was extremely upset with this experience - she came home crying and being confused why people would treat her like this. She was shocked how rude people can be. Needless to say we will do our best to get rid of every apple product that we have at home - it's simply not worth it. When they want to sell you something they are extremely motivated, but when it comes to providing support for older products - they simply don't care.

Brian Swayney

My wife and daughter like apple products, I do not, it was hard for me to give it this many stars but I guess for apple people it's fine, enjoy your limited intuitive products.

Zara Henkel

These people really know their stuff! I went in with such a simple problem (my mute button being broken) that I didn't even think they'd be able to fix and they had a quick solution in no time! I definitely recommend making a reservation because it's a very busy location but this was the first good technology experience I've ever had between multiple phone companies and different electronic stores. Everyone is very nice, funny, and knowledgeable. I will definitely make the drive from Cary to Durham just to go to this location.

Aaron Fleshner

It's an apple store. There are alot of some products inside. The staff is great

I came in December and I’m hoping it’s just because it was the holiday season...but the staff said it’s always that busy. I went to buy a computer, which I was so excited about, but I couldn’t handle the wait—it would have been over an hour. And there were so many people in there, it smelled like a gym! I called Apple instead to buy my computer and I’m so glad I did—the associate patiently walked me through all the different features and pros and cons of the models I was considering. I’d only go back into the physical store if i absolutely had to.

Ashish Arora

waited 4 hours + to get a battery replaced. Then the phone wouldn't work (1 year old!). Then the tech (Dani) promised she would email me an update on status (repair successful or new phone). Louis Diaz was extremely rude and unprofessional. We were going to buy three iPhones full price, and because of him we decided to leave.

Kristina Anderson-Davidson

Easily accessible, knowledgeable staff, quick turn around, quick appointment availability.

Jon Hoffman

Always slow, was told 20-40 minutes wait and it took an hour and a half. This is a consistent problem at this location. They need to add more staff

Noble Stone

My first ever trip to the Apple Store was a horrible and treacherous experience this place is a mad house employees either ignore you or duck and dive from offering you any real customer assistance then they lie about fixing something won't even let you inspect repairs on the phone before you pay for it and then after paying lots of money for the repairs that aren't completely fix they tell you your only other option is to pay MORE MONEY and buy a new phone and they don't even want to sit and explain to you why your product is not fully fixed before brushing you out the door avoid this place if you can it's absolute hell hole with hands down the most scummy customer service known to man.

I had a Genius Bar appointment for 7:00. I checked with a rep after I hadn’t been helped by 7:15 and was told that there were 6 people in front of me. “It’s an estimate,” he said. I finally got helped (or so I thought) around 7:30-7:45 but realistically was just left at the counter for “diagnostics” on my device with no explanation or communication regarding what was going on, the findings, next steps, etc. It’s currently 8:30 and the store closes at 9:00... Ridiculous is an understatement. So much for my Monday evening. This location is not considerate of your investment nor time.

Walked in at 3:30 on Monday afternoon, told a greeter I wanted to buy an iPhone 7. Guy says "30, 40 minutes" before a salesperson could get to me. Asks me to stay at front of store, along either wall, so they can find me. Takes my name. 45 or 50 minutes later I ask one of their greeters how much longer. "Oh, we took you off the list." Why did you take me off the list? "We went looking for you quite a while ago for some time and you weren't here." Assured him I had been here the whole time, response was a befuddled "oh" and offer to "put me back on the list." I left.

I went to the store to get a replacement for one of my airpods which was accidentally chewed by my dog. It was simple and straightforward, just sell me a piece of airpod and send me off! Unfortunately, things didn't turn out that easy. In the store I was told to make an appointment to see the genius, which was fine. I was told to wait an hour at the mall and the system will text me to notify me the readiness of their staff. I literally waited at the store without going anywhere for an hour. When time was up, i approached the guy who made the reservation for me and asked how much longer I need to wait. The guy was looking for my name and somehow my name was not in the waiting list. At first he even surely told me that I was texted and I missed the appointment until I shown him the message. I confirmed with him that I had only the booking confirmation but no following message to notify when someone could see me. He wasn't sure what went wrong, but he could be sure that I wasn't in the system for appointments. He told me that either keep waiting for however long it would take to see the genius, or go home and make another appointment. Since I was already here for an hour, he suggested that I stay. During the whole process, he was not at all apologetic. He acted as if it was "god's will" to make me stay, none of his business. After another hour of waiting, I became very upset, and asked for his supervisor, which made total sense to me why this happened. The supervisor came and listened to my story. Then he said "sorry for my experience" which i could tell that he did not mean it at all. I told him I was a loyal customer to apple for 15 years, and had bought six iphones, four laptops, two ipads, ipods, iwatches, etc. I should not be treated like this. I have waited literally in the store for two hours just for a replacement of an airpods. Again, that guy was "sorry" but he insisted it wasn't their fault and apparently there was nothing he could do. His advice was either i waited a bit longer until whenever I could be helped, or I went home and made a call to make another appointment. "Since you've waited so long, If I were you, I might as well stay a bit longer" as he said. After twenty more minutes waiting, I finally got to see the genius, who spent five minutes selling me a piece of airpods. I successfully bought a replacement from the store after two and a half hours waiting, by the way, during the whole time, there are a bunches of genius at the bar chatting or wandering around who just could spare five minutes to sell me a piece of airpod. There was definitely something wrong with Apple store here, they acted as if there were some high class luxury brand and I was stopped from touching an iwatch belt on display simply, because I did not make an appointment in that store.

Lauren D'Agostino

Be prepared to wait. Regardless if you have an appointment or not. I made an appointment to get my battery replaced three hours before the store closed and they said i needed to come back or leave my phone over night. What is the point of an appointment if you're unable to get your device fixed at said appointment. Went back on a saturday when the store opened to drop my phone off so I could have it back day of, and i was told I could pick it up at 5. Really says a lot about the quality of apple products the the store is FILLED and people have to wait hours for repairs because there is such a high demand.

Troy Jones

Had an appointment still have to wait 3 hours

Went to Apple to repair my laptop keyboard. I was told that it would take 3-5 days for the laptop to be repaired and returned to me. They only just received the parts to begin repairing my laptop 5 days after I brought in my computer. Never answered nor returned my calls as well. It seems like many customers at this particular location are experiencing quite poor and unprofessional service.

Shaikh MateenRehan MohammedSalim

Awesome ambience, but often too crowded.

David Kaufman

Terrible service. I had a problem and when I called they refused to put the manager on the phone. Said he would call back and be never did. I called them back and when I asked the service rep to please stop talking over me he hung up on me. I would advise you to go anywhere but here for your apple needs. I like apple products but my customer service was so rude and unhelpful at Southpoint I will not buy anything from them or Apple again.

Shanavia A

You'll wait forever for the simplest things but once I was helped it great customer service

Most Amazing Apple store I've been in. Modern, clean, and very nice staff. One of the staff used his own phone to play music onto the airpods that I was demoing. You could tell that it's an amazing store because staff were friendly and lot's of people were purachising stuff the store

Irene Kittrell

Dreadful retail experience. Crowded, noisy, long wait, inadequate seating and after all that, the "genius" spent about 45 minutes trying to get music on my iPod Touch and before succeeding, he wandered away to talk with another customer for about 15 minutes. Apple claims their stores offer a unique experience in shopping. That is for sure. It was the worst shopping experience I've ever endured. Several years later I bought a new iPod Touch and I just set it up. It came with what I considered pornographic pictures of two undressed men with one man standing and the other kneeling with his face against the other man's lower abdomen. It was a disgusting image and my low opinion of the Apple company is not improved by their promotion of this kind of behavior. What if this had been given to a pre-teen? I will have to go to the store, a round trip of about 80 miles, to talk to someone about this. The public really needs a viable alternative to this horrible company.

I came in, got no one greeting me, I had to grab a person telling him my iPhone XS Max has overheat problem. And I was told I need to make an appointment before gets help from apple. That’s ok, so he helped me setting up an appointment and told me a text message will let me know that my appointment is close. Now, here I am standing in the apple store with no one come to me after I got my text message for 40 minutes. Experience sucks. This is not really a typical Apple experience. Plus, store specialist are not friendly at all.

It is such a disappointment to visit a storefront such as Apple to have an experience like I did. My wife needed to get her computer fixed and she was told she would get a text 10 minutes before her allotted appointment time. I offered to go for her, and arrived on time (actually a few minutes early). Checked in for the appointment and was told to go wait in the back at the counter. Did so- 20 minutes pass with people who came after me being taken care of. Asked apple staff and they said that they had been looking for me (I was standing in front of the gentleman who checked me in the whole time by the way), but made a mistake because they were *probably* looking for a girl (the appointment was under my wife’s name, but regardless that’s sexist- luckily I don’t have a name that might easily be mistaken as female...what?!?) I am currently still waiting, 30 minutes after they finally seated me (and took two more people who came after me). Just passed the hour mark. Easily one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. Really disappointing Apple!

Chase Herndon

Anytime after the three month window after new products have been released, will be your best time to visit this store. If something new has come out, I would avoid the store if possible due to such foot traffic. I have had great experiences here with staff that has been friendly and informed. I am a bit of a tech head so I can casual talk with most people employed here. I almost find myself teaching them a few things throughout the conversation...

Josh Benfield

Just had a horrible customer service experience at this store. I wanted to buy local, however I will be forced to order online. If local business owners want to earn and maintain local customer loyalty, then thinking through best practices and strategies will be super important for overall customer experiences. I wish I could have had a win at this store.

Myrna Roman

Went to the store on Wednesday because my iPhone5 died. It took CN 1.5 hours to put it in working condition. He explained all the steps and was very patient with my questions. The next day I return to complete the transfer of my data. This time Matt assisted me. Again , very patient. It took some time (1 1/2 hours) but he managed to avoid losing all of my pictures. Both of them were very professional and were never in a rush to do things . Another person would have insisted in giving a factory reset but, they manage to avoid it. They were great!

Oscar Arguijo

Horrible experience, didn’t get help with anything for over an hour of just standing there with them telling us that “Someone will be with you in a moment” we talked to 3 different employees and it seemed as if they didn’t care.Better if you go to the one at Crabtree

Sarah F

Very kind staff. They’re always very helpful

I can't get anyone on the phone who works at the actual store. I keep getting automatically transferred to corporate in Indiana. ?? This is incredibly frustrating as I sit here listening to horrible static with the occasional beat or lyric of music.

Had a problem with my computer that 3 hours with a tech rep for apple couldn’t solve and the IT people at my school were stumped by. Brought it in here and Cody fixed it in 5 mins. Give that man a raise.

Worst Apple Store I have ever visited. They dont know what they are talking about. My airpods had connection issue after couple uses and went there. They checked and told me it had some issue and will replace them but they dont have in stock and I have to wait. Understandable as its not in stock. After 3 -4 weeks I checked online and it was in stock. They never reach out to me after it was in stock. Then I just went there and told them, now its in stock can I get my replacement. They were very hesitant to give me replacement. Then they checked my airpods and told me two number does not match in airpods and they are one old and one new airpods. I was shocked as i just used them couple of times and that was brand new sealed airpods. They want me to go back to costco and return and they cant do anything. After I came back home, I checked online and checked my friend's airpods 2 and numbers were same like mine. There are two different numbers one in right and one in left. They wasted my 3 weeks and 2 hrs drive going to apple store and again to costco. Luckily I bought that in costco and they took it back and told me it was airpods 2. If in case i bought that in that apple store, they will just told me its two different and will not do anything. Try to buy apple product from different apple store if you want some piece of mind as they are only nice to new buying customers.

Damien Gu

You should expect to wait forever even with an appointment. They are the definition of overcrowded and understaffed. Call ahead to see if they have the item or part you are looking for because if they don't, tough luck, you have to wait another week and you can't schedule a follow up appointment (walk-ins only). When they suggest come early morning to avoid the crowds, you better be there when the door opens. Took me FIVE visits just to get my phone battery replaced. I wouldn't be surprised if the fire marshal deems them to be over maximum occupancy.

Scott Forbes

Being there just reaffirms my dislike of Apple as a company and their products. The maneur they feed to customers is a great example of Apple's delusions of grandeur.

steve sullivan

I love coming in the store I'm an Android User but I also like the iPhone it brings out the geek in me I love looking at the different selections of iPhones and watches

Bryan Cohn

Nice staff, I’ve been coming here since 2002. But the wait time to pick up simple items, which where already paid for is outrageous. My last order was stuck in some sort of limbo and the only way to get up my Apple Watch was to purchase another one and then cancel my online order. Very disappointing service from Apple which was once great retail experience.

Larry Johnson

had a really good experience there, staff are very helpful and friendly and will answer any questions you have.

V Matt

The stores not busy and the 2nd employee I talk to, who is doing nothing, tells me it’s a 45 minute wait to buy an iPad. I buy a lot of Apple products but this Apple store is not consumer friendly.

Chad Jemison

We recently bought our daughter a phone here and then service was very good. The store was busy at late morning on a Wednesday. Thankfully, it was appropriately staffed so that we were well attended to throughout our two hour visit.

Patrick Lyons

Apple really has gone down hill over the last few years

Sukhpreet Singh

This place is packed all the time but there staff has no idea who come in first or second they just checking in people than have 1 hour wait they need to organize more so people don’t have to waste there time.

Hugo Sowder

Friendly & professional service when I needed to get an iphone screen repaired without an appointment. It is a high traffic store so expect some wait for repair services if you come without an appointment but they'll get you the right diagnosis for your device and get it fixed pretty quickly.

Katie Bartlett

Wonderful and helpful people. Especially Mario and Brian.

Guy Wachsman

I came on Saturday morning, ~20 mins before opening and there were already workers standing outside and registering the people, I thought it is very kind and nice; I had a repair to do and the estimation was almost a week but in the eve I got a message that they finished the job; all in all, kind and fast service

Lisa Gilliard

Busy...hectic...but they had a system and eventually got to me in a decent amount of time...reps really give undivided attention to who they're working with...

Al Wang

The service at the store tonight was horrible. We first waited one day for over four hours to have someone confirm that a known issue with the iphone 7 was the root cause of the issue following the software upgrade. This after he ran software checks etc. A complete restore was required and reinstallation. He promised that if it did reoccur, which was likely on this phone, he would give us a loaner and send off for a new phone. It stated it was all in the notes: When it reoccurred a week later another technician, after another four hour wait, stated that the first technician was “new” and didn’t know better and she “thinks” it’s the aentenna and we need to pay over $300 to get a replacement of the 7. She stated she had two years training and she was the expert and knew the only option was to pay that or get a new phone altogether. The previous assessment and notes no longer applied. Inconsistent and unprofessional in addition to rude and expensive.

Jonah

I scheduled an appointment at 12:05pm and got to the store at 12:00pm, no issue. The initial employee that helped me told me to wait for a text notifying me that a technician was available and that I would be helped as soon as I got the text. He asked me my name, etc to confirm the appointment, which was scheduled correctly and I showed up on time. I assumed this meant I had been “checked in”. An hour later (it’s now 1:00), I talked to another employee about the appointment, thinking there was a long wait time considering the lunch hour (which was very generous thinking on my part). Turns out, I wasn’t “checked in” and my appointment was canceled because I wasn’t “in the store”. This was extremely frustrating as my work day was completely shot and I was essentially losing money being there. Time is money and I shouldn’t be worried about this going into a store, especially one like Apple, who raves about their customer service. The appointment was finished at 2:30. This was for a battery replacement!!!!!! Nothing major. Disappointed and my experience further confirms the reviews of this store.

My MacBook Pro had issues with butterfly mechanism keyboard and one of the key was broken but glad it was replaced under free service from Apple so I saved 430$. But there was a sticker on my mac next to the trackpad and it was removed for some reason and no one notified me when delivery. Hope you let the customers know before taking off stuff.

Not satisfied. Looks like they need to hire more sales representatives . Been waiting for hour when I was told that it was ‘Upto 15’ mins. It became ‘up to 60 mins’ after we asked for update.
