Should be zero stars. I went to apple today to pick up my phone which had to be repaired. And the experience in this store was terrible. First I wanted 20 minutes to check in. Then a additional 20 to have a sales associate-Charis bring out my phone out. She ask me to clear the loaner phone that they had give me to use and handed me my phone and proceeded to leave. I stopped her and ask her to activate my phone. She proceeded to explain to me that they were a retail store and sprint was my carrier so I would need to go to sprint to get it actived. I explain to her that the nearest corporate store was in Cary and my phone was my business. She basically said they could not activate the phone. I ask her about the repair and without activation how would I even know if the problem was fixed she arrogantly responded you have 90 days to bring it back. I explained to her I have 1.5 hours to drive with a phone which she really didn’t respond. I ask to speak with a manager and stood for about 15 minutes waiting and finally Tom- responded to the call. Unfortunately he took the same position as his associate no customer skills would barely look at me and never really ask how he could help with the situation. I used one of their phones to call sprint and the manager would not even work with sprint to get the phone activate. This is the worst customer service I seen in a long time I will not go back to this location. I am writing a letter to their corporate office.

Fantastic job Apple... (insert sarcasm here)... wait over 40 mins after check in just to be told I checked in 5 minutes ago! Someone needs to do their job right!

People were so helpful. I was helped on all levels with my new iPhone. I would recommend this store to anyone

Kelsey Wester

Apple store in the all best company in the world. Their phone has very good photo qualities.

Diane Williams

The guy that tried to help us talked down to us the whole time, would not listen and was more interested in playing on his phone.

I had a terrible experience here last Sunday, 28th July. I have attempted to reach out to Apple Support and have responded to the surveys, but, no one has bothered to contact me. I was given incorrect information about the trade in process via Apple Support on the 'phone. The Apple Store does not take the trade ins when purchasing a new device. Since I'd already backed up the MacBook and reinstalled iOS, I felt I had no choice other than to purchase the new MacBook Air at the store. No one was empathetic, no one was helpful. The Apple Store Employee was quite rude about my upset and inconvenience; he told me I needed a cup of tea ... what? As I mentioned, I tried to contact the store directly ... the line just rings without being answered. I have received no response via the surveys or via Apple Support. My complaints have been forwarded somewhere. This could have been an excellent and fun experience ... It was not.

Apple is starting to fail as a company. Sad to say. The customer service here is SUUUPPPERRR POOOOOOOOOOOOR. Don’t talk to the floor manager she will tell you there are 15 people on the floor and 1 technician. They are to concerned to sell these products than to try and fix or help a customer that has already spent money . The iphone and products don't even hold up past 2 years and even with applecare+ your still screwed if your iphone says it can be underwater for 30min but they have a tab to check the water indicator ter tab. Expect to spend no less than 90-120 minutes iand then be turned away and have to reschedule . If you are here for a service ..good luck. CEOs and top management have really changed. One word POS.

People here must have a great time, what I like is the coding with the iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil to do different things on the iPad even AR. I really like there new product the IPhone 11 Pro& there Apple Watch series 5.

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible!!! Appointment set for 7:30, arrived early. Had to walk around to several Apple shirts before I could literally flag someone to help me...7:40, he said someone would be with me in a minute....7:50.... Ran diagnostics on phone 7:55... Returned and said, I'm sorry sir it takes 1 hour to do your service so we cannot do it tonight. I explained it was not 8:00pm yet. Response, I'm sorry it will take 1:15 or so to do the service. Was just floored at the poor poor customer service. Why schedule an appointment if you cannot stick to your own schedule. Apple has really gone down hill!!! Steve Jobs would be rolling in his grave. Why can't I leave 0 Stars...

Terrible customer service and was in there about 4 hours for getting new phone and they didn’t backup my phone so they lost all my info and pictures and contacts. Told me it was my providers fault and not there’s, didn’t do anything to make it right. Horrible store

Too many people. I just do not care for the long waits and open concept.

This store is the most crowded store in the mall, at any time. Even on a Tuesday early afternoon, there were at least 100 people in the store. The store is well staffed and employees helpful. They greet you right away and point you to the right place. Plenty of places to hold and try out Apple's latest gadget. The Genius Bar provides excellent tech support (but may require an appointment). They were able to get us in after about 30 minutes, which is excellent. Unless you get great discounts elsewhere, why buy a phone through a provider when you can get it from Apple directly and get the excellent tech support from them?

Kelly A. Calhoun

Who doesn't LOVE a visit to the Apple Store? The employees are super good looking, kind-hearted & helpful and the classes are pretty sweet. Hearts!

Kevin Stewart

This review is more for Apple in general and not particularly this store. I scheduled an appointment and drove an hour to this store to get my battery replaced. They said something was wrong after the new battery was installed and gave me a new phone. Took it home and it would not activate. Spent four hours with apple support to no avail. Now I have to drive back up there to try to resolve this. You can never get anyone from this store on the phone and always talk to someone different at the support number. I was thinking about buying another apple phone but after this debacle No Thanks. People at this store were very helpful and quick to assist so again this is more or less me venting about my experience.

Chelsea E. Adams

Can we please eliminate “I would give 0 stars” from our vocabulary forever? You’re not original. How do you expect to visit the Apple store on a weekend around the holidays and not have to wait a few hours? I traded in my iPhone 6s here for a new iPhone 8 last Saturday. I waited about an hour and a half. No big deal when there are hundreds of fancy devices to look at while waiting. I was worried that my trade-in would not be accepted because of a few scratches. It was accepted and the whole process was painlessly easy. The person helping me was kind and apologetic about the wait time. I didn’t mind the wait but it was nice of him to acknowledge it. Yeah, Apple products are stupid expensive but the demand for them is abundant, so whatever. No complaints here.

Vittoria Natale

I had a problem with a new computer 32 gig with 1T memory, that I bought in Delaware and the store exchanged it for a new one without any problem. They realized it was defective and offered to exchange it right away. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Dave. He is the guy who teaches you how to work with your new Apple products.

Delta Communications .

Walked in and was help very quickly got exactly what I wanted and was out the door within 5 minutes.

ashley brusick

I am not one to write reviews but felt compelled to after my first experience at this apple store. I was lucky enough to have Jaquan assist me in purchasing a new iphone. He was not only helpful and personable, but patient with my below average technology skills. He made sure all my information was transferred smoothly from the old to the new phone, and walked me through each step to ensure I understood everything. I truly couldn't have asked for a friendlier or more accommodating staff member. I will definitely be going back with any further assistance I need with my apple products!

Paula Staten O'Connell

I don't know what's going on, but I'm getting harassing calls from this phone number. I've never been to this store or mall and I haven't been to North Carolina in nearly 25 years. AND I DON'T OWN ANY APPLE PRODUCTS.

Mark Clayton

Impossible to get anyone to even pick up the phone to find out if they'll be open during what's listed on the site only as "Holiday Hours". What times are those?? The number listed to call goes directly to Apple Support, after 18min on the phone, someone picks up and you have to start from scratch after already telling the automated service what you needed.. This live person says, "Oh, I can call the store directly and find out the hours I'll be right back"... 15min of dead air later, Click.. Seriously?!? I love Apple products but the support is terrible. I'm concerned if I turn in my 15' Macbook for the battery recall, if I've ever see it again at this point! It should NOT be this hard to find out when a store will be open so you can drop off your hardware for a recall that they issued.

I’ve visited this store in Crabtree mall on several occasions over the years. Like all Apple stores it seemed invariably crowded but the staff is always friendly & helpful. Now with the new location in the mall it feels a lot more open — it is wider than deep and is a lot more inviting. Of course the staff is helpful as always. So why not 5 stars? I think they need to make it a little more inviting — especially to the new customer. I know what I want and where I need to go. However the store can be intimidating for a newcomer.

David LaRocco

I read the previous reviews aware that there was issues with this store however, I did not experience anything but great service. I had a battery replaced and everything was they said it would be via apple customer care. Great everyone.

Exceptional customer service at Crabtree Valley Store today. Service appointment was exactly on time and problem with my Mac Book Pro was resolved while I waited. A very knowledgeable and professional service technician, my complaints, sorry I did no get her name.

No good. No one in Apple store came to help us so we left.

Remember when apple stores were efficient and friendly. Going to the ER is probably easier that stopping in here. The customer service here is poor at best and comes from the top at Apple right now. Expect to spend no less than 90-120 minutes in this store and longer. If you are here for a service good luck. CEOs and top management have really changed. One word WOW.

Worst Apple Store... Not Organized at all. They need to make another Apple store in Fayetteville NC with the military base here it is so many people that have drive 1 1/2 -2 hours to get to Raleigh from other areas.

I will never buy another apple product ever again... The iphone 7 have a software malfunction due to Apple not doing something properly. I was sent to the store by my cellphone company i get there they hook my phone up to there computer and tell me they can’t do anything for my phone.

HORRIBLE customer service... I called Apple support yesterday to get a quote on how much it'd cost me to replace my screen for my MacBook Pro and she said it would actually be free since it's an issue they had with that particular model. She logged into my account, etc. and scheduled an appointment with Apple the next day... Well I go to my appointment and the guy says "we are not able to do it for free" I then proceeded to explain to him what was told by Apple Support, all he kept saying was "I apologize, there's nothing I can do about it." I told him that isn't fair to be told one thing and then another; I wasted my time going to the store, waiting, and still get poor customer service. This makes me not even want to buy Apple products anymore honestly. My first BAD experience with Apple happened today and I'm baffled by it.

Ordered 2 airpods online last night. Told the order person, Jessica, that I would pick them up this morning but it was possible that my wife would instead. Jessica said no problem, my wife could show them her picture id and give them the order number and she could get them. My wife got there a little after 9 to pick them up but was told that she could not get them because her name was not on the order or on the pick up list. They said she could call me and have me call the ordering number and have her name added to the pickup list. problem was I was at the doctors office and could not do that. So she left and I came by after my doctors appointment to pick them up. I checked in and was told to go wait at the end table and someone would come and help me. so I waited and waited. Watched a lady come in, check in, and receive her items shortly and leave. Still waiting. An older lady came in, checked in, and joined me at my table. Turns out she was there to simply pick something up that she ordered also. She was upset as was I that they did not have a line for pick ups. Finally a young woman came to help me. She apologized for my wait and thanked me for my patience and brought my airpods to me. She was very nice. I asked her why they don't have a line for people simply picking up items. She said they normally do but due to some problem did not today. I understand having to wait your turn but they really need to rethink the way they do things. All the work had been done. My stuff had been ordered, paid for, and just needed to be picked up. I did not need to ask any questions, get advice, just pick it up. real simple. should be real quick. Hire someone to do the simole stuff. Little training needed, no technical knowledge needed. It's called a gopher I believe.

It doesn’t have to be like this. There are loads of great Apple stores around the country that are properly staffed without 2 hour wait lines - where are customers are treated with respect! It is their privilege not ours if customers chose to patronize their store. This location should wake up and recognize that it is their privilege to serve the great people of RTP not the other way around. I can only think that the high scores come from people that have unfortunately have not experienced a well run Apple store. ——- update This store is unbelievable! Their service is so bad that it is laughable. It is like they are working hard to be the worst. I am updating my review because I went to this store Friday just to pick-up a device. The gentleman in front of us was checked in quickly, then it was our turn. The check-in guy spent minutes inspecting my appearance quite closely (very creepy guy) and entering my description into his pad. We were sent over to a table and after another wait, a guy came out of the back carrying a package with my name on it and walked straight past me (so great success by the guy who took so long to write the description). He walked over to a person who looked completely unlike me and was dressed very differently and began helping her with her phone (at least he got the sex right :-) ). He finally told her that it wasn’t his job to solve her problem and called out my name. Finally got the device we came for. Top marks for giving us a laugh for absolute incompetence! Went to the Southpoint Apple and they were great!

Zach was extremely helpful and knowledgeable as he helped me with my computer and he made great recommendations for future product purchases.

Really nice place since they moved it to the other side of the mall. The old store was too small basically as soon as it opened. The new store is much larger and really nice. I really like the new big workshop area. Just wish this mall wasn't such a pain to get in and out of. Selfishly I wish they'd relocate the store to another area, I avoid Crabtree during the weekend.

Don’t waste your time coming here. I came here twice trying to buy a phone and each time they had a different excuse to make me wait. They never could help me with my questions or concerns, but could help the older couple with the same questions. Wouldn’t let me reserve a spot to buy until I made up my mind on which phone I wanted to buy, but let the other couple reserve a spot in front of everywhere and she didn’t know what she wanted. I wasn’t going to finance, I just wanted to buy a phone. No one would help me so I decided to leave and go else where to buy. Most of the workers here don’t do anything but sit around and quite frankly, they’re all rude.

Rochelle Parent

Zach was extremely helpful and knowledgeable as he helped me with my computer and he made great recommendations for future product purchases.

I just don't like that u have to put an appointment for something so basic

Edward Brooks

Fantastic service! I went to the store do to an issues with a recent purchase, the manager meet with me personally and resolved everything quickly and professionally! Everyone was positive and proactive, not many places are this good with customer service!

Kate Maxwell

I had a positive previous experience with a tech here which is why it is at 2 stars. However, right now I am still sitting in the store as I have been since 11:30 (2 hours). I can’t find my technician. They told me to wipe my phone before the replacement had updated completely and I lost a month of photos from my trip to Botswana that I will never get back. My technician was very dismissive of me being frustrated that I lost these photos, implying it was my fault for wiping the phone before checking. I am now waiting in this overcrowded, poorly regulated store waiting for my phone to restart so I can make sure the newest one hasn’t deleted any MORE photos. Awful quality service for the most part here.

I brought my working phone to this location due to my phone not updating or recovering properly. They tested my phone and said it had to be be sent to Apple from this store due to an error when they tested and assured it was normal and that they just need more information and etc. Long story short I did not receive my phone back within the 5 days as promised and I never received any emails regarding any further details from Apple. I called Apple at the 5 day mark and spoke to customer service and then a manager and then I was transferred back to the store where I spoke to a representative who did not seem to be helpful so I asked to speak to his manager. The manager Ryan, from this Crabtree store location came on the phone but basically did not have a resolution for the problem and could not explain why i did not receive any emails from Apple stating that they wanted to charge me $549 for a new phone and stated i had water damage on a iPhone X that is supppsef to be water resistant and basically tried to accuse me of lying about not receiving an email from Apple about them wanting to requote me for a charge. I had been on the phone with Apple for an hour at this time I was very irritated and It showed and Ryan hung up on me. I called customer service back and spoke with a very kind manager who realized that for some reason, I was not notified by Apple by email or by any means that they wanted to requote me for water damage and agreed with me that if it was supposedly water damage this would have been seen at the store as well when they did their visual inspection and resolved the issue for me. I will not trust this store nor take my phone there anymore

Tyler Pidgeon

I made an appointment yesterday for 1:50pm. I was told the issue required the phone to be sent in to Apple and that the phone would be erased. Thus, I purchased ICloud space at their suggestion to back up the phone. Then, after purchasing the ICloud space, I was told the ICloud backup would take too long so I should back it up at home and come back. They would only give me an appointment for 6 days later. They said my wife could come back the next day and they would expedite things for her since I was just there and she just needed to hand off the phone. When she arrived the next day (33 weeks pregnant with twins), she was told she would need to wait 5 hours. They did not honor what we were told the day prior. I tried to call today and speak to someone. The phone range for 5 minutes and then hung up on me. The customer service at this store is horrible. I am furious with the way we were treated.

Susie Buck

Good customer service. Went in for help with Mac Book Pro and Apple TV. Two Genius techs helped me with the problems which were nice. I left the store with problems solved. Always busy so you need an appointment.

Nilesh Jain

No one is willing to assist you. I came to the store to buy 2 IPhones. Waited for 45mins and no one bothered to assist me. I believe management should take the customer relationship seriously.

Trece Day

I had to go to this location to pick up my new iPhone replacement and I have to say that the Apple employees were awesome. Even with the store having a crowd of customers these folks work hard to ensure that each and every one of the customers in there were satisfied. It only took about 10 or 15 minutes for the sales representative to get my order, email me a receipt and tell me to have a wonderful day..The employees at this location are wonderful..Keep up the great job guys.

Juan Guzman

Is almost everything in one place...

cheryl jackson

Went to upgrade iPhone waited 30 minutes asked four salespeople about the wait there is no organization nor instruction on the process kept getting passed over I know they have a great product but maybe they should hire more people to decrease wait times I just walked out disgusted

Jason Seelye

Both times I have visited here I have dealt with terrible customer service and overall rude employees. Both visits were for the same issue and I still have not gotten a solution. First time I scheduled a walk in appointment and was told it would take 45 minutes for them to be ready for me. No big deal, I went to grab a bite to eat. No later than 10 minutes I got a text saying they were ready and missed my appointment as I was signing in with an employee for my appointment, due to being caught off guard not expecting them to be ready for me. Despite the fact that I was in the store, talking to an employee when my time ran up, they still told me I missed my appointment and there was nothing they could do for me and I had to reschedule and wait another 30 minutes. Second visit (6 days later), I came back to see if I could move ahead with the repair plan I needed, as I couldn’t afford it on the spot, but they told me I would have to wait over 2 hours to go through the entire process I had gone through to take two minutes to buy the repair I needed. Instead of wanting to do that, I simply asked if there was anyway I could just purchase the repair and skip the diagnostic/talk through portion and was immediately met with a disgusted look by one employee and laughter by the other. While I understand if I can’t skip the Genius bar process, the reaction from the employees was uncalled for. The employee that gave me the look then proceeded to say “I don’t know what you want me to do for you, I cannot help you today.” It’s one thing to not be able to help me based on processes laid out by the store, but the employee responses towards me were beyond rude and they were completely unhelpful.

Collin Townsend

Great Apple location, they really do set the example for all other tech retailers with their pleasing layouts and modern aesthetic. This location is beautiful just like the rest with a full glass fascia and hardwood floors and tables. The store is well-stocked and well-staffed and always busy (like every Apple store). While Apple's products are overpriced in my opinion, this store has knowledgeable salespeople who are excited about what they offer. It is unfortunate that Apple's corporate repair policies are so ridiculous (they refused to repair my Macbook because I had swapped out a battery myself), because it really shortens the lifespan of their products (which I'm sure is their motive to encourage you to buy a new one). This location isn't responsible for the greedy corporate policies though, I would recommend it.

Eugenia Wade

I was visiting with a friend who had an issue with an iPad. The service technician attended to the issue in timely and very professional manner. The issue couldn't be resolved and it was still covered by warranty and was replaced with no hassle.

Susan Hite

I Apple store wonderful. They had much patients and sooooo helpful. I appreciate it it so much. I have a problem with parking. I use a walker. Elevator in parking ng lot not functional. Forced me to walk further than necessary. Hard for me

Dan M

Customer service here is poor at best. Expect to spend no less than 90-120 minutes in this store and longer if you are here for a service. Even when you purchase an item, it takes 60 minutes to authorize the transaction through corporate so they can hand you the device that you’ve paid for. Excuses without substance abound from even the managers about how ‘it’s just the system.’ Go to Best Buy, Walmart, Target, etc. Same prices, better service, less time.

Steven Messiah

Really good service.

Joe Fitzpatrick

Brought in my 4 month old MacBook Pro for service. After a diagnostic check up I was told the SSD needed to be replaced. I got a call a day later saying it was ready. I went to pick it up and it didn’t work. I asked what was replaced and was told nothing it was a software issue so no need to replace the SSD. I asked why the descion was made not to do what they told me they were going to do. I was told I don’t know. They sent it out for repair and now it’s ready again! Place your bets!

Dexter T

Horrible customer service during a return today. Good customer service seems to be on the decline the last few years at this Apple Store location. Came here to do a return and then buy a MacBook Pro but left without purchasing anything.

Josh Toilolo

No one will answer a phone call even though the person I saw on monday suggested i call before coming in for my replacement Phone.

Too crowded as usual. Nice shops but limited parking and rude people simply takes away from my experience here every time.

Very useless! Long wait time. They can do better with a second or third outlets to better serve the triangle community.

Scott Broaddus

Not an Apple person. I have always been and IBM kind of guy. Bought an iPad for an app that I use that only works on Apple. I had problems with the iPad so I had these guys look at it. Even though I bought it 3rd party and I was a manly non-Apple type guy, they were nice, professional and diagnosed my problem for free. While I waited I took part in a lesson on how to use the camera on my iPad, for free. I learned some things that I used on my trip to St. Thomas that allowed me to take excellent pictures. Thanks Apple Store. You may have converted me. I have a new appreciation for Apple and their products/people.

David Cassone

Much better since they expanded. The tech classes they teach are great for adults and kids.

Not sure why this Apple Store has so many poor reviews; I received the best service and had no issues whatsoever! As long as you go prepared (back up your device, have your receipt etc) you will be sure to have a great experience just like I did.

Awesome customer service. I've bought multiple Apple products from this store and the employees working here are always knowledgeable and incredibly helpful

Patricia S

Do not come to this store for any kind of phone repair. There are a ton of other companies who provide better service and better prices to fix your phone. I was worried about letting someone other than Apple fix my $900.00 phone, but quickly changed my mind after trying to make an appointment for a repair. They told me my appointment would be in 1 hour (6:40pm) and to show up 10 minutes early. I went out to my car, set my phone down for 30 mins and when I went to go back saw I had a text at 5:58pm stating my appointment was ready and another one at 6:05pm stating my appointment was canceled because I didn’t check in....when someone says “appointment” it means a specific time. If my so called appointment had the potential to be moved up it should have been explained to me before I left the store.

Lavonne Cox

I always love it here

Samantha Reid

I hate this place. Buying Apple products is pointless if the employees won't help you fix them once they reach the 5 year mark. There aren't even actual chairs to sit on while you're waiting, and it's incredibly loud and disorganized.

M H

Zach and the other employees were great...my laptop had keys that were sticking and they replaced the keyboard for free and had the work finished the next day. Plus when I got the computer back, the screen had been cleaned and it was charged to 100%. Way to go, guys! I was impressed.

Omar Kass-Hout

Horrible service consistently and every time. Motto should be: we’re not the best... but we are the only ones. I think Apple should start paying attention to this location as one of their worst. Waiting times always long in the hours, and no one is friendly... shame...

A very bad and understaffed Apple Store. It is always packed with customers in here. Came here one night a couple hours before they closed to pick up my online order that was shipped to this store, and that took about 20 minutes to do. There were two lines leading out of the store just to get 'checked in'. On another occasion I had a Genius Bar appointment, and the Apple technician couldn't use the employee room to completely work on my iPhone because it was busy in the back. I am also not a fan of the remodel this store went through.

Brian Willis

Good for hands on with a product, but save yourself the time and hassle of dealing with all the people just there to goof around, and buy your stuff online from Apple. The good thing is that if you need tech support you can make an appointment with the "genius bar".

Very disappointed. We had an appointment set at the Genius Bar to get a battery replacement on the wife's phone. We were told that they had to wait to get the phone in for the replacement (2 hours). When we get back to get the phone they had denied the replacement stating that the phone was "damaged". So they wasted two hours of our time and used a BS claim (phone never wet and never dropped and lives in a Speck case) to deny a battery replacement. Not cool.

Never walked in without seeing wall-to-wall customers, no matter what day of the week or time of day. The store could be twice the size. However, the staff is plentiful, knowledgeable and friendly. Know before you go, don’t go if you can do it online, and only go after making an appointment.

Bryan Tatum

Just awful customer service. Had to visit this location and the one at southpoint 3 separate times for a known iphone defect. I don't think I'll buy another product from apple. The reputation of having exceptional customer service is an illusion of the past.

Oliver Wood

YuuucckK! There are no longer any descriptions of the Apple products in the store now and to interact with the products you must touch them. I just saw a child pick his nose and then use the same finger on the iPhones! Hello Apple, it is flu season. Plus there are always numerous staff standing around doing nothing. After standing in line for 20 minutes, we were told that to get any help we would have to wait 1 1/2 hours. Apparently, even if you come in when the store opens there is a 15-20 minute wait while the staff has their group meeting (I have seen this happen!). It is very disturbing that what is supposed to be an advanced high tech store cannot even run a retail shop efficienctly at least locally (we have tried south point as well - at least as bad). The staff knows there is a problem with long waits and nothing is done about it. Let’s really really hope that Apple has done better with their technology especially tech like wireless power charging. We have been long been Mac fans even when the software became increasingly limited, have spent a lot of dosh with this company and this Apple store could really do with treating their customers with a little respect. I have to add that we are new to the area and the Apple stores in other parts of the country are much better managed. We have been treated great in Apple stores elsewhere! It doesn’t have to be like this!

Christopher House

Food court was delicious, like how they give you free samples

Aaron Fleming

Every time I come all of the reps are incredibly nice. If you make an appointment or go early in the morning the wait is more reasonable. The most recent time I went in Dillon helped me out with my Mac and even pointed out repairs that could be made under warranty. Will gladly come back even with the wait with how quality the staff is.

Tim Johnson

Wonderful way to waste a Saturday. Wait hours for an appointment to see a technician when all you need is a replacement for the 1 day old IPhone 8+ you just bought. Their solution? We'll send it off and ship you a replacement in 5 days! Employees seem to try and are pleasant but they are following policies that absolutely punish the customer. Never again.....Galaxy S9 work great.

Arba Miha

My husband and I walked in with a 2 year old, looking to get new phones. We were told the wait was 15-20 minutes. After 45 minutes of waiting there, with a very fussy toddler, my husband went to ask an associate how much longer we had to wait. All the visible employees were moving at a snail's pace, with no sense of urgency of any kind. My husband approached an associate named, "Blane", who by the tone of his voice didn't want to be bothered. We told him, that we were told there was a 15-20 minute wait and it's been 45 minutes, we have a very fussy 2 year old. "Blane" stated, "you're right, that's the way it is. People are just not moving very fast today". This was said in a very aloof manner, with absolutely no reassurance that we would be taken care of. So we just walked out of the store, very unhappy. Will not be returning and would like everyone to know, that this is a place to be avoided!

Sarah Findlay

So happy with my experience here yesterday! it did take some time to fix both my laptop and phone (I had a software issue with both) but the person who helped me was so patient and everything is working great now! Everyone I encountered in the store was also kind and helpful.

Jinyi Qiu

This is a bad experience. I bought an iphoneX at here in February. The screen dies on 5/16 afternoon, but the sound and other parts still works, and I have no way to fix it. After I come to the store, they first told me to come later since their “genius team” is off duty. While I have to use my phone. So I told them to contact the manager, then is a wait for more than 20 minutes for the manager to come out. The manager finally fixed the phone. And not willing to give any compensation on my experience. It is a bad shopping experience.

Emily Kim

Made an appointment and went in to fix a sound issue. The store was packed but the employees were all very helpful and knowledgeable. If I need any more help with my phone or iPad I’ll be returning.

Kaykay Suggs

The wait for this store is RIDICULOUS for the simplest things.

I called today to get a quote on a nee MacBook Pro with military/veteran discount or education discount. The rep I spoke with who works in this store is "Mat" or "Mac". He asked me for my first and last name. I asked why he needed that info to give me a quote? He sighed and continued to ask me the same question. I then asked what other personal information do you need in order to give me a quote? He sighed and said hold on. That's when he transferred me to apples national customer support. The support agent said he doesn't know why he transferred me when they have sales reps there to assist me. He stated it sounded like he was trying to create a ticket for you but he didn't need to do that since its a general sales question. I spoke with 3 apple reps today and 2 of them were very helpful. I know Apple is great so I'm not going to let 1 bad apple ruin my apple experience. FYI- The 1 star is for that 1 bad apple rep and not the rest of Apple.

This place sucks. I was here to exchange an item and they put me in a wait for 2hrs. I will never buy anything at this Apple store anymore. If you need Apple tech, go to Best Buy; they treat you with far more respect (and way faster customer service)

Jackie Brockman

I had to replace my iPhone 6sPLUS battery. I arrived shortly after they opened. The wait was about 1.5 hours. No issues, they were very nice. You're able to play with Apple products to keep yourself amused if you don't want to go shopping in the mall. My battery was replaced in a timely manner. Would definitely come back for repairs or purchases. I live an hour away as well so that is saying something.

Excellent Customer service

Great service - made an appointment, and the person helping me walked me though the entire process of switching out my phone that needed repair with another, downloading my stuff onto the replacement phone, and wiping the old one. Much appreciated.

I came in because I bought a pair of Apple Power Beats 3 and when putting them on the ear hook broke off. This should not happen paying 200$ for a product that should be able to with stand regular use in under a year. Came in and the rep said he would not have anything available for another 3-4 hours. I asked if there is a way since my beats are well I’m under a year warranty if they could just be exchanged and he said sure to wait for a manager by the name of Debby. Instead another sales consultant came up and said I would have to reschedule for a week from now as they are just sales not tech support. Debby came up and I asked if they could simply be replaced and she said I would have to make a appointment and then another man came up and said that regardless of me setting up a appointment a week later that I would not be covered as that would be considered physical damage? I bought these beats May 03 2017 in no way should an ear hook snap so early by putting them on from normal use that is the point for a 200$ product to be able to be reliable and durable enough to put over your ear without a consumer not having to worry of it snapping? I also work at T-mobile and am Shocked that Apple would tell me they are to busy and give me a run around on a having to deal with a product that clearly is defective. They also said since it was purchased at a T-mobile even with my receipt it wasn’t bought from them. Very dissatisfied that Apple would not cover a defective product and the service was incredibly disturbing. I am no different than any other customer and if you were so busy then why were you standing around not doing anything? Very pissed.

Daniel G

HORRIBLE DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! By far the the worst apple store that I've ever been to. terrible customer service and some of the staff has no idea what they're doing ( and I am talking specifically about the technicians). The technician did not record my appointment findings and next time I went to the store for the same issue they said that we don't have records showing that you came and talked to a technician.

Steve Painter

Won't answer the phone funny thought a retail store would like to sell their products

This branch has an aweful customer service! This is totally unacceptable. We wanted to buy apple watch but we ended going somewhere else, guy pleas never ever come to this place.

Varun Mehta

Yes, this store represents a behemoth corporation that has, unfortunately, lost all touch to it's customers. They are after all worth $1 trillion so why would they care? The service is poor, employees walk around like they don't care, the wait time is horrendous and i could go on and on. Just what happens when something gets too big, it loses sense of why it's successful in the first place.

Vibrantsouls

I came in for a charger replacement the first guy set up my appointment I waited 15 minutes to talk to the next guy who then told me wait for the next guy I waited for a guy to take notes about what was wrong with the charger it’s been 4 months I bought it brand new and now it doesn’t work so he told me wait for the next person I waited 10 more minutes for a lady to come and ask again what was wrong. AGAIN I told her the issue and she said that my charger wasn’t in stock and that I had to come back at a later day ..... why couldn’t the first guy just tell me that before I waited 30 min and it’s the shorter iPhone charger. I wasted my time I’m going to stick with my bootleg chargers since both last the same amount of time

Randy Parnell

I had an appointment at 8:00 PM on a Friday to pick up a watch. I got placed in a line and waited a few minutes. I was greeted by a friendly and professional lady that had a Computer Science degree from North Carolina State. She seemed to enjoy her job. They were extremely busy, people everywhere and she apologized for the wait when the watch arrived. She asked did I have any questions, excellent customer service experience!

Katrina Debnam

I finally got my ear pods !!!!! Yayaaaaaaaa , customers service great

Anita Menez

Terrible service. Don’t bother to get help once they have sold you a phone. They make you wait 2 to3 hours, say you can walk in only to tell you that they don’t have any technician to help you. Room is staffed with numerous reps to sell you stuff but they don’t care about taking care of the customer if you have a problem with the defective phone that they sold you in the first place. Very disappointed with their attitude and lack of service

Adam Sch

We made an appointment to have our iPhone glass repaired, and it was very smooth and on time in regards to our appointment and the work that needed to be done. Many staff members there and quite a few asked if I needed any help.

Shannon Price

Always busy but they help in a timely manner.

Heather Reagan-Holihan

Clean, organized, efficient handling of a large line of people. The employees are very nice, not rude, and don’t rush you.

RJ Bagby

This is the only apple store in the Triangle area and the customer service is the worst. I was told I can’t be seen today and yet they lady behind me, who was louder and rude to them, miraculously received service without an appointment. Do yourself a favor and buy a Samsung.

Hannah Waldrop

Went in to get my brand new phone looked at since it was acting up, the initial problem was solved quickly, I got a replacement phone, but beyond that, received no assistance. The second the phone powered on I was told I was good to go. Except I wasn’t. I’m not particularly tech savvy, so I needed help with the backup, and I couldn’t manage to bypass the update, which was confusing since the same phone I bought a week earlier I wasn’t required to update. So I’m standing in the mall for 45 minutes trying to update the software just so I can turn the phone on, the WiFi keeps disconnecting. Finally I go back to the store to see if I’m doing something wrong, and I’m completely disregarded, and I’m told “you have to connect to the WiFi.” Yeah, I’m aware, I’m connected to the WiFi, it keeps trying to update, gives me some ridiculous number like 2 days remaining or 16 hours remaining. He tells me to ask some other guy for a charging cable so my phone doesn’t die while it’s updating. This guy was completely occupied with a table full of people, after standing there awkwardly for 10 minutes, I’m finally able to get his attention and he’s completely aggravated over me asking for a charging cable, told me I was misinformed but he’d see what he could do. 5 minutes later he comes over with a chord, says “here you go” and walks away. Another half an hour passes and I finally get my phone to turn on. Call me illogical if you want, but there’s no reason why it should take 2 hours to turn a damn phone on. And if I just dropped a small fortune on a phone, you could at least make sure I’m able to turn it on. I made an appointment, I drove an hour and a half to be out there. Will never buy directly from apple again.

Mauro Di Ilio

Today I went into the apple store with my wife as she has been wanting a apple watch for quite some time. There was quite a few people looking and holding the display watches. As soon as I grabbed one. Your employee( a older black lady with a small Afro) yelled at me with the dirtiest look from across the table that I wouldn't grab the apple watch. I put it down and walked away. I'll take my business elsewhere if that's how they treat their customers. I was also shocked to see how many people where waiting for a customer services specialist and they had a big mess with those little chairs. I will NEVER shop for an apple product at this Store. Bye

Casey Borden

Nobody would help me. I had to ask 3 different people to help. I told them I wanted to buy a phone. Nobody took me seriously. Therefore I left and bought a Google pixel 3.

Michael Torbert

Drove 45 minutes each way only for them to refuse to honor the advertised veteran’s discount. As a small business owner, I’ve bought dozens of Apple products for our all-Mac office. This is yet another reason why I hate going into the retail store. For a premium brand, have consistently terrible customer service.

Arranm Baumannw

Way over crowded. Need to either another location in Greensboro or hire many more people.

Very unorganized. Showed up at 12:45. Made an appointment for 2:00-2:30 start time. I was there at 2:00 and checked to make sure I didn’t drop out of the queue at 2:15. Checked in every thirty minutes and no one was available so we left at 3:30.

Michael Williams

Tyler the so called Manager is awful. She quoted me verbatim the policies fo the store. Was willing to walk away from my paying the $129 service fee because she would not ship the $2 charging cable back. What a moron!! 14 month of Beats Headphones and they broke. I read the awful reviews of the Beats Headphones and I can tell you they are ALL true. Do no buy ever!!! No customer service experience for Apple products. Complete waste of my time. Go else where to a place that values your business.

Adrienne L

The team was very efficient, pleasant, and helpful, especially Patrick, who helped me troubleshoot my new iPhone 8. I was surprised at the ease of process of replacing my phone, despite having to wait 30 min for the reboot and update - much better than sitting on the phone listening to scratchy music... hooray for the future

jasmine poteat

They fixed the service on my iPad. My service just wasn't reaching. No one had a clue what was wrong with it. They switched it out and did 3 resets on it. It worked upon me leaving the store.

Angela Hawkins

Very open and friendly atmosphere and knowledge staff. From the moment we walked into the door and we were greeted by a concierge who was able to take our information and then assign a salesperson to help us with the setup and switching everything over to my son's new iPhone was seamless.

Tim Simpson

Great customer service even for the day after Christmas. It was busy but the service was prompt.

Michael Rappa

Never walked in without seeing wall-to-wall customers, no matter what day of the week or time of day. The store could be twice the size. However, the staff is plentiful, knowledgeable and friendly. Know before you go, don’t go if you can do it online, and only go after making an appointment.

Dylan McKie

I had such a great experience here today. They were upfront and honest about the wait time, and even got me in early. The gentleman that assisted me listened to the problem fully without jumping to conclusions, and as such, we diagnosed my problem very quickly and took the appropriate measures. Incredibly professional, and provided a pleasant atmosphere. A++ to these guys. I wasn't expecting this outcome whatsoever. Cheers!

Jay

Didn’t get helped for 20 minutes past our appointment time. Even then, our problem was ultimately not resolved. As expensive as Apple is, their technology is not where it needs to be, and Apple store comes up short in meeting and exceeding this customer’s expectations.

Wear your tennis shoes. So many stores!!! Lots of walking!!!!

I normally find Apple stores to give the most arrogant and imperious of experiences. More fool me for ordering the new phone to collect on release day!! Turns out this store is a cut above the rest. They were organized and polite. The chap that served me communicated through an iPad and keyboard and simply did an awesome job. In and out in 20 minutes - couldn’t have been happier.

Isra Jamil

went in the store after talking to the call center and being promised help. I went in and talked to one of the guys at the Genius Bar and he needed to bring the manager over because he couldn’t replace the phone without his consent. The manager RYAN was completely out of line and disrespectful. 4 other customers saw the way he spoke to me and left the store to apologize to me. He insisted I was screaming and kicked me out without even looking at the phone to see what was wrong with it. MULTIPLE customers told him “sir she isn’t screaming, she’s frustrated but definitely not yelling or screaming”. I’ve also heard from multiple students at State that have also been treated poorly by Ryan and kicked out. If you can avoid this store please do.

Schulette Jerrick

I went to buy a new phone at 8:27pm and was told that they will be closing soon so I would have to come back. I said you close at 9pm and can’t sell a phone in that time? He went and got someone else to help. The new person seemed like he did not want to help, I guess from what the other guy said. I left and bought a phone from T-Mobile and I left the mall before 9pm. Today I needed a new charger and was headed back to Apple store but remembered how I was treated and went to BestBuy instead. I doubt I will shop in this store again.

Jennifer Mirchandani

I love the apple store and their products, however my only complaint is getting to one to actually help you because they are always so busy and its hard to get an actual human on the phone when you call the store.

Bipin Nair

Huge wait times. Service levels are sub par. End up waiting a ridiculous amount of time for minor repairs and even to buy something, which is sad. Think about waiting an hour to buy a power adapter. I would rather drive the extra distance to Durham, where service levels are far better, than waste a day at this location.

Hunter Williams

Make an appointment online before visiting if you need something done and you will never have any problems. Otherwise it’s a very lively store and I’ve never run into any issues with the staff or buying experience (other than having to wait a short time for someone to retrieve a product). If you do not like crowded spaces or waiting, simply order the product online and pick it up or have it shipped to you.

I NOW KNOW WHY APPLE’S STOCK IS IN THE GUTTER! Tried to come here on a Tuesday afternoon and spend $1200+ on a new iPhone X and couldn’t. Waited 45 minutes and walked out. Pretty sad. I ended up at the ATT kiosk downstairs.

Randi Marie

This store is honestly a waste of space and not only my time but every other customer that comes in you can literally here them complaining or upset and i pretty much leave upset every time as well. A pair of apple headphones broke and 4 associates didn't even want to help. The speaker stopped working and they considered it damage? Apple products are suppose to have a one year warranty period. I came in with my iPhone not working just went blank and was under a year warranty. They inspected it and couldn't find anything wrong but did not want to replace it. They wanted to charge me for a whole new phone when the phone I purchased is already brand new. Honestly Apple is starting to dwindle and become trash. Do not recommend services here. 2 month wait to be of no help. No thanks.

Michael White

How far Apple has fallen. This place is disgusting. Smells like urine and you can’t even tell who is employed there or not. One guy had cut off jorts so high his bag was hanging out. Never again. Apple you’ve got to do better.

Wayne John Wilson

My daughter flew into Raleigh Durham today from the Bahamas. Her first order of business was to trade in her old Iphone for a new. I must say the service and staffing in the Apple store here in the Crabtree Mall was amazing! The air of professionalism was par none. The best I've ever seen. Met the manager Dustin and had to commend him highly. I've never used any Iphone product but the support system in this store sure intrigued me.

Bipin Parajuli

want to buy new watch with hot cash... they reserve my appointment after 1.5 hrs , when i went there after 1.5hrs again they said that i need to wait 1.5 hrs more coz their technicians are slow.. I gonna buy now gears now atleast i dont have to wait to buy

Jeff Garner

I called and was on hold for over 13 minutes without ever speaking to a human. Didn’t have time to wait longer, so I hung up. Edit: Since I couldn't get through on the phone I accessed Apple's support website and scheduled an appointment at my nearest Apple Store to have a battery replaced in an iPhone. The website read: "Make an appointment at an Apple Store or one of our many Apple authorized service locations, we'll try to fix your iPhone during your visit. In more complex cases, we might need to send it to an Apple Repair Center. If we do, your iPhone will be ready for pickup in 3-5 business days." After taking off of work and driving an hour to make the appointment, The employee confirmed that the battery needed replacement By looking a data in the phone's settings menu, and said he needed to order the battery, and I would have to come back. He said he wished I had called first (which I did, but couldn't get anyone on the phone). He also said none of the stores have batteries in stock because there is such a high demand; they always have to be ordered. He further said that Apple should do a better job of communicating this to the customers. I wasted time off of work and a 2 hour round-trip drive so he could look at data displayed on my screen to establish that they needed to order a battery.

great place for a day out. good eating and shopping.

Bob was awesome. I had a great time to resolve my iPhone issue there. great costumer service, nice and respectful staffs

Valerie Hemenway

Eric was super helpful!

Very disappointed. Drove from Wilson to drop off an iMac for repair after not being able to schedule an appointment online. I had my 1 year old with me and there was no rush needed on the repair. Representative said it would take 4-5 hours before I could drop off the computer. That is a flawed process. I understand you are busy but there should be a process to drop off non urgent repairs. This was on Wednesday at 10:30 AM as well so a non peak time. Very poor service.

Apple iPhone warning!! Seriously. I know this post is long but it’s info I did not know and got screwed. So, a warning to anyone looking to upgrade their iPhone or start the Apple upgrade program. Did you know that, even when you purchase DIRECTLY from Apple, that they have models of phones that will ONLY work with certain networks AND they will not disclose this information when you purchase it?? I was completely unaware until I changed carrier plans from AT&T to Verizon that the phone I purchased, from the apple store (not through at&t) that I was sold a model of phone only compatible with at&t and T-Mobile. My entire decision to buy directly from the manufacturer (Apple) was because I wanted to be able to have choice. I thought, naively, that if I purchase through Apple, that I could change carriers based on my needs. This is NOT the case! And, should it take longer than three months to discover this fact, Apple will NOT remedy the situation, nor offer any recompense for having to buy a new phone or change carriers again. NOTHING. NADA. DON’T CARE. It took an entire week, without my phone (had to borrow one) to find out that Apple will not do anything to rectify, assist or replace the phone I paid for. Make sure to ask!!! Look at the model number on the back (that tiny script under their logo) and ask about compatibility before buying! No one from Apple will tell you this, even in the store. Shame on you Apple.

Jack Edwards

Very busy but the staff was great to deal with.

Melonie St. John

Customer service in the store is awful. Kept getting passed around. Shouldn’t be this hard to pick up an order thats already paid for.

Lucus Assanti

Apple’s employees love spreading good ol’ misinformation. They would much rather tell you something that isn’t true, than to simply say “I don’t know”. This is a big disservice to the tech community, having to work against constant bad information coming out of people’s mouths. Most of these workers are not qualified or have no understanding of these products. When I sit there waiting for a technician I hear a plethora of lies to customers that just makes me want to scream. That’s what you get when you have a tech company that employs any and everyone with a disability or social disadvantage

C Angela

Been waiting for 25 mins and no one is helping me. I wish I can give no stars. What a waste of time Edit: *update* Okay. So some Apple employee canceled my appointment instead of checking me in. And I had to wait 30 mins for nothing

Don Fisher

The store was packed the staff was not prompt and get any service yet it get in another line

This store is super disappointing. I went to buy something and let a sales associate know. She added me to the list and then said I had to wait 15 min and a sales associate would come find me at the table where we were standing.... So I couldn't leave the table. I'm not sure why I had to wait when there were several sales associates standing around not helping anyone. Rather than wait at the table staring at the sales associates who weren't helping anyone, I left, went to Best Buy, and was able to buy exactly what I needed immediately. Seriously, go to Best Buy if you need anything. They're way quicker and more helpful.

Anthony Nestor

After driving a few hours to get to this location so I didn’t go to an “unauthorized repair center” to have a simple repair done on my phone I waited three hours +/- 10 mins for my meeting with a technician only to be put back in a queue after a “system error” where I was told well should have come by earlier.... it couldn’t be fixed today but you can drive two hours wait three hours to have it done at apple. I will not waste my gas, money, and time again at this location.

Mike Finn

Great mall.

Antione Pittman

Very disappointed with this place. Had an 2:55 appointment today. After it took almost 15 minutes to sign in and was switched to 3 different people and moved to 3 different linesI was finally checked in and told where to sit. I sat there for almost an hour. 2 different families were sat at the table with me after I had been there for almost an hour. Within 10 minutes both families were helped and I were still sitting there!

awsome girl

When I saw how many people were there I almost fainted. I drove 2 hours to get to them. Needless to say they had my entire issue resolved and new front face to my phone on within an hour. They were amazing!

Majd Twaissi

Nice mall.

Day after Christmas I was able to get help at the Apple store quickly and my issue was resolved speedily.

The Raleigh Crabtree store needs better training for customer service and MANAGERS. If Managers knew what they were doing their employees would give better customer service. Came in employee up front look at my cable and said we can replace your cable nothing about needed receipt. Wait 30 minutes and what oh now I need a receipt. Told the first gentleman that I had gotten it Christmas nothing about receipt. Then I wait and need receipt. Very BAD communication!!!!!!! For what you pay it is ridiculous!!!! Cole the store manager needs a little customer service training then maybe his employees would know what they are doing!!!!!!!!

Jonathan Lindsay

Second time here for the same issue. I have had the IPhone 7 issue with the no service problem, so first off it was annoying to have to go through a two-hour procedure just to fix something that Apple screwed up on (antenna inside phone issue). The wait is always at least 40 minutes, many "geniuses" just go around and act like they are doing something. When you ask someone for help, its always a, "let me find someone to help you with that"and that adds on another 20 minutes. Someone was helping me and I brought up an additional issue with my phone and they said I then needed to wait at the "sales table" after already waiting 1 hour. In conclusion: poor management, too many trade offs and not enough people actually know what to do, "geniuses" literally forgetting that they are supposed to come back later to help after a phone update, and long wait times.

Karen Bridgewater

Had appointment still wait time was 2 hours: I do have Apple care the tech Jeremy said our warranty is expired we no longer have Apple care. That freaked me out. Then I went through over 1000 pictures to find receipt I had took picture of receipt. Then Jeremy changed the topic to tell me it doesn’t matter if I had Apple care or not they would still fix it for FREE:) He wasted my time and his time. Never going back to this store again.

laura gallo

Great idea to have the popular items displayed where you have the option to try them out!!

James Taylor

Kenya S.

Many shops to choose from, large variety......Nice area.

I made an appointment online for the genius bar. Showed up on time, but there is no system or order to the store. I didn't know where to go, or wait, or who to talk to upon arriving. It's just very chaotic. I was finally able to walk through the store and get an employee to look up long enough to ask where to go for my appointment. He found my appointment in their system and had me sit down and wait, said someone would be right with me. I waited for 45 minutes, with my two small children in tow. After 45 minutes, two hangry children and having watched so many walk-ins be seen before me, I gave up and left. I'm gonna take my laptop to TenPlus instead, I should've done that from the start. I don't understand why they let you make an appointment if you'll end up waiting for a very long time anyways? It's very frustrating and I don't have that kind of time to waste. I don't know that anyone should have that kind of time to waste.
