Mohammad did a great job - quick and efficient. If it breaks again, I'll be back! FOLLOW UP - I'm changing my rating from 5 to 2 because parts of my phone screen are now totally unresponsive. It's crazy making trying to write an email, or even a quick text, when none of the letters on the lower half of the screen work! I plan to bring the phone back to have it fixed again, but I'm not thrilled that I have to trek back over to Park Slope to do it. SECOND FOLLOW UP - I took the phone back, Mohammad ordered a screen from a different company and replaced it at no cost. He clearly cares about customer satisfaction and honoring his warranty, and for that I'm changing the rating back to 4. However, I hope that in the future he stocks a better quality product from the beginning.

My iPhone 6 screen stopped working, so I brought it to the Apple Store, and they gave me a brand new phone (same model) for the same cost as repairing the old one. A mere 3 months later, the microphone on the brand new phone stopped working. I brought it back to the Apple Store and was told the microphone wasn't fixable, and that I'd have to buy a new phone. Before dropping hundreds of dollars on a new phone, I took mine to iFixScreens, where Mohammad gave me a summary of possible fixes and started with the most obvious one--replacing the part that includes the microphone. He fixed my phone in 20 minutes for about $60, and also gave me a few tips to increase life and performance of the phone. He couldn't have been a friendlier and more charming presence. I'm so glad I found this place!

I think I can now consider Mohammed a friend after the wonderful service I received from him and his store over the course of 2 days. I had returned from Bahamas and my phone totally crapped out and would not charge. I took my iphone 7 plus to 3 Apple locations in which they could not tell me what was wrong with the phone; only that they couldn’t fix it, would not open it to figure out what was wrong and the only option they could offer me was to buy a new phone outright, not ideal especially since all my data could not be recovered if the phone couldn’t be turned on. I found ifixscreens on Google and decided to give it a chance as it was very close to my house. After bringing my phone to ifixscreens, Mohammed was able to open it and turn on my phone in LESS THAN 10 MINUTES!!!!! After figuring out the issue with my phone, I came in the next day to sync my phone to a newly purchased iphone. Mohammed stayed at the store with me to back up my phone until 10:30pm (2.5 hours after his closing time). He is a wonderful man and very great at his job. This place is amazing and I wouldn’t have my Bahamas pictures without him. THANK YOU SO MUCH MOHOMMED!!!

I dropped my Samsung 7 and the screen no longer worked. I bought a new phone (IPhone) but the carrier couldn’t access or transfer anything from the old broken phone. There goes over a decade of photos, messages, etc—only some saved on the cloud. I went to IFixScreens in Park Slope hoping they could help. They did a backup of my old phone and uploaded photos and videos to a cloud Google account so I could access them from anywhere. I had to go back to transfer the old phone info onto my new one. I showed up without an appointment at about 6:45pm on a weeknight. I was greeted by a friendly and gracious Mohamad right away. He told me it would take a little while to transfer everything and I should come back at a morning appointment since I’d have to be here with both phones to do it. I mentioned that might be hard with my schedule. Mohamad told me not to worry and that he would help me after the appointment that was scheduled at that time was done. He helped the scheduled customers and a few walk-ins with quick inquiries. It was getting late at this point, yet he didn’t ask me to leave and come back. He told me he would do it, no problem. There was a lot of data on the phone and the transfer was going VERY slowly. The store was set to close at 8pm but the transfer was still going at 9pm. Still, Mohamad was gracious and stayed open doing the transfer until everything was complete. His customer service is amazing and I highly recommend this place and Mohamad, particularly!!

On my life, this guy is a superhero, he practically saved my life. There were a few options near me, but after speaking to Mohammed, he promised me that not only would he have me in and out in under 20 min, but that he would match the price of the other shops in the area. Not only did he match the price, walk me through the procedure, clean the charging port and answer ALL of my questions, he set me up with a documentary while I waited AND was done is just under 15 minutes flat. And in the process, earned this review, my recommendation and my business for the foreseeable future. Top notch service from a friendly professional at a GREAT price. Can’t ask for more than that. This is the only place you should go to fix a phone!!!! One of best services I've ever gotten in this city, and that goes for any kind of industry. My phone was run over by 10+ trucks and everything broke: speaker, mic, front camera, back camera, and even the screen. Replacing everything was expensive, so Muhammad offered me a discount because of how extreme my bad luck was. The repair was quick, and they have a nice setup where you can watch Planet Earth 2 while you wait. The next time my camera broke the repair was going to be overnight so he lent me a phone at no extra charge. He is very friendly, kind, and generous with his time. Definitely recommend!

There were a few options near me, but after speaking to Mohammed, he promised me that not only would he have me in and out in under 20 min, but that he would match the price of the other shops in the area. Not only did he match the price, walk me through the procedure, clean the charging port and answer ALL of my questions, he set me up with a documentary while I waited AND was done is just under 15 minutes flat. My phone was run over by 10+ trucks and everything broke: speaker, mic, front camera, back camera, and even the screen. Replacing everything was expensive, so Muhammad offered me a discount because of how extreme my bad luck was. The repair was quick, and they have a nice setup where you can watch Planet Earth 2 while you wait. The next time my camera broke the repair was going to be overnight so he lent me a phone at no extra charge. He is very friendly, kind, and generous with his time. Definitely recommend!

Nice place. The power cord kept falling out of my iPhone. Muhammad tried a simple cleaning before replacing the lightening socket and it worked. Plus, he showed me how to do it myself so it wouldn’t happen again. In and out in less than 10min. I’m sure a less reputable guy would have told me to replace the socket and charged a lot more. Pros: Quick fix , they work hard and stayed passed closing time to fix my phone (which I really appreciated ), they were responsive and ordered my part quickly . They were professional and polite. Cons: Screen I got looks very different from original. Colors are off, not as bright , and now I cant see any image with my polarized sunglasses which I did before. Mohammed was quick to reiterate three times that I got water damage , which to his defense is possible but that doesn't justify why the colors are dull and brightness is low. So I felt that he was passing the blame on that to try and shut me up. I called back and was told that the screen they ordered on Amazon is an OEM screen, so why is everything so different now? I paid almost $150 to get my screen fixed ($30 of which was for expedited shipping), this is not what I expected . I could've ordered a screen myself and took it to a much cheaper place to swap which I now wish I did after seeing the end product. Also the top and bottom part of my phone chassis are now different colors since the ordered screen came with a different top/bottom chassis color. Mohammed stated these pieces are newer so he thought i would prefer these but I wish he asked before so I could've told him I wanted the original pieces so my phone doesn't look like a Frankenstein phone. He stayed late to fix my phone so when I inquired about changing it at the end he asked if I can come back tomorrow . Well if I didn't live 45 minutes away I would've , I don't want to drive 1.5 hours for something that could've been done correctly the first time if he had asked. Also now the back of the phone is much harder to close and doesn't easily click in as it should . Not happy , won't be going back. Be aware replacing a screen voids your warranty. Update : Mohamed contacted me to rectify the issue and ensure I leave a happy customer. I was glad he reached out and will update this review after.

After three visits to an Apple store, Apple was telling me to throw away my iPhone6, and that they would not even give me a credit to trade it in on a replacement. After a few minutes in this 129 5th Avenue store in Brooklyn, Muhammad had it working again. After a battery replacement, it's working just fine. Left my iPhone X to be repaired with these guys. Questioned the $700 cost to get it repaired and asked numerous times if my phone would come back like new with Face ID fully functional. I was assured yes, not to worry, and that the $700 is an investment and I can sell the phone after. I took my iphone with a bad crack on the screen along with a dent on the side trim. Muhammed Was very kind and attentive. He told me right away that he would need to fix the dent for the screen replacement to work. This made sense as the trim putting pressure on the screen was what had created the crack in the first place. He was upfront with the cost and time it would take. An hour later I picked up my phone. Left my iPhone X to be repaired with these guys. Questioned the $700 cost to get it repaired and asked numerous times if my phone would come back like new with Face ID fully functional. I was assured yes, not to worry, and that the $700 is an investment and I can sell the phone after. Face ID was not functional when I received my phone, I cannot sell it without Face ID. $700 down the drain and these guys refuse to remedy my issues. DO NOT USE THEM FOR REPAIRS.

I destroyed my iphone screen hiking, and he was able to set me up with a new screen in an hour for far less than Apple- who could not give me a service repair for a week. I went in about 2 weeks later because I was having some phone issues, and he generously walked me through my problems and how to solve (which had nothing to do with the new screen he installed prior) free of charge. He is a welcome addition to the neighborhood!

I took my iphone with a bad crack on the screen along with a dent on the side trim. Muhammed Was very kind and attentive. He told me right away that he would need to fix the dent for the screen replacement to work. This made sense as the trim putting pressure on the screen was what had created the crack in the first place. He was upfront with the cost and time it would take. An hour later I picked up my phone. Almost good as new! Great service.
