I hate this company and I hate this store. My wife is always here with problems on her phone. I have android. Never once has it broke and I have to go to a store to stand in line just to check in. Then to wait an hour for service. How do Apple people put up with this treatment for buying their products? Then they tell my wife she can leave and they'll text her and she can come back. We do this and while we're out they cancel the appt. When we go back they tell us they don't have any techs. Even though my wife clarified our timing and everything before we left the store. Next the manager just says oh you can order that part online and we'll overnight it to you. Guess what we get home and YOU CAN"T. I can't make this stuff up. Every piece of advice they give is just dead wrong. WHY ARE PEOPLE STILL PUTTING UP WITH THIS? We wasted hours at the mall just for that dragging a baby around. Really unacceptable how they run that store. Buy Android folks don't wait around for these bozos to look at your phone all dumbfounded without a clue of what to do then have the nerve to tell you how superior Apple Products are.

I called to See if they had air pods in stock and talked to an associate over the phone but then they asked my name and if i was going to use it for personal reasons or for buisness reasons and what iphone i had and suggested that i get a iphone x and asked if i wanted to get it wrapped and if i wanted the wireless or the wired charging and im like NO i just wanted to see if u had airpods in stock I JUST WANTED AIRPODS. The person who answered was very friendly tho and seemed nice. Tip to apple store, STOP ASKING A MILLION QUESTIONS OVER THE PHONE

BAD APPLE! Today my iPhone 8 plus that I’ve had for the last 18 months stopped working. It just shut off and would not turn on so I made an appointment with the Apple store. The Genius Bar told me they were going to run some tests on my phone and instead, to my surprise, they just plugged the phone in and told me the same thing I already knew, that it wasn’t charging. They then proceeded to tell me that I needed a new phone and it will cost $400 plus tax. I couldn’t believe it and so they got a manager to give me 10% off. I then walked out of the store and went across the hallway and spoke to the manager at Pro-tech. He did what, in my opinion, the Genius Bar should have done which was to open the phone to look inside. Thirty or so minutes later he was able to fix my iPhone 8 Plus saving all of my information. Thank you Pro-tech for the great job! PS it only cost me $106!

I was looking to buy a Mac Book Air, which would cost me around $1,500 and I think Apple should be able to to hire as much employees as needed in order for customers not to have any wait... Its actually ridiculous that customers would wait in order to spend their hard earned cash... Very unfortunate...

I am very happy with the service I received. As soon as I walked in, a worker offered to help me with whatever I needed and my problem was solved. I did not get that typical “you need to make an appointment first” nonsense that I have received at other Apple stores. This was the best experience Iv had well done keep it up!

My iPhone SE battery died. I made an appointment and was in the store a couple of minutes late. The check-in line for the Genius Bar was 10 minutes(!) long. When it was my turn, the guy had the audacity to say I was late and he had to put me back in the queue. I've never been treated this badly as a Apple customer than in this Apple store. Wow, never again.

Yesterday I visited One Garden State Plaza Mall Apple store. I had mutilple concerns including purchasing a new iphone for me and my daughter. Mr. Adrian Albano provided such excellent service. He was so patient and thoughtful of my lack of knowledge and techonolgy of the XR iphone. He throughly provided a quick overview of usage for the phone and explained all the financial options for the purchase. If Mr. Albano is a representive of your Apple store service , I would like to commend your team. I would highly recommend Mr. Albano and your store to anyone without hesitation. This is the worst run store I have ever seen, Apple or otherwise. Had an appoint and was apparently “too early to check in.” Guy said he would check me in when he could. Never did. You basically have to go on a scavenger hunt to find the one person in the store who’s in charge of Genius appointments. It’s such a horrible system. Also, the original guy who didn’t do his job told me to wait at a certain table and another man came over and told me I would have to move. Avoid this place at all costs.

My experience at this store was horrible. As soon as I walk in there was a line for two guys holding tablets. When it was finally my turn, they tell me to go wait on another line to be checked in. Finally get checked in. I get told to sit that someone will be with me. Waited an hour. A lady came up asked me who I’m waiting for. I said they told me to wait here for a technician. She looked up my name the guy who checked me in canceled my appointment and left for the day. She gets somebody to help me. Took about another hour to go threw their process. The guy told me I might have to pay and they’ll send me an email with a quote. So my phone is a 7 and it had cellular software failure part of a recall they have. (it’s covered under their free repair plan) so it’s free I knew they have to send it out. But Complete waist of time. Worse part about iPhone are their software updates and their istores. The staffs are misinformed and unprofessional. Left this place and went to Verizon bought a Samson galaxy.

I had an appointment for 8:45pm I was seen @ 8:35pm. The mac support reinstall the software with 10 to 15 mins and I was done. During the waiting time he expanded to me various support they offer. It was a quick and informative experience. Thank You

Got an appointment to replace the battery for iphone 6 that was holding the charge for less than an hour. The employee took the phone into back office for inspection. This inspection took less than 30 seconds, and the employee came out and said that water had gotten into the phone, and even moving the battery a little bit would destroy it. They offered to replace the phone for $300. They said that there were no other options except buying a new phone. I went outside and approached a phone repair hut. Paid $30, they opened the phone replaced the battery in less than 10 minutes, and the phone was once again in perfect condition. A suggestion would be if you want affordable and quick service, visit the phone repair huts in the lobby, rather than wasting time and money at Apple.

As a dedicated Apple user, I was very disappointed with the service I received at the GSP Apple Store yesterday. I am in need of 2 Smart Keyboard cases for gifts. As usual the store was very busy and no one was available to help answer some questions I had. After looking at different options, with no sales person asking if I needed help, I approached a gentleman and asked for his help. He said he was a Tech so he offered to tell a manager to send someone over. After 20 minutes in the store, No one came over, so I went to the appointments person in front to ask for help. His immediate reaction was to look me up on his iPad to see if I had an appointment. I did not as I was only shopping for the keyboards. He also offer to ring me up, but I told him I had questions and asked if he could send someone to me. About 3 minutes later, a tall guy in his early 20s came over and asked me what I needed help with. I asked about the different cases, Apple vs Logitech and compatibility with the iPads. He made no eye contact and was very dismissive of me and my questions. He said he preferred the Apple ones for their aesthetic. He then suggested I check out Amazon if I still wasn’t sure about which one to purchase. I thanked him and left the store, very disappointed.

I would like to say 'Thank You' to to Ernest Day for making my iPhone shopping experience exciting and fun. Ernest was very patient and supportive, he did not rush or push me to buy a phone, he was genuinely enthusiastic about new Apple products and technologies which helped me seal the deal and become a happy iPhone X owner. After I purchased the iPhone, Ernest made sure all my old iPhone data was transferred to my new iPhone, he explained and showed to me some basic and other useful user options, and wrote down for me all I need to know in case I need further on-line and/or in-store support and training. Thank you, Ernest, once again for making me feel secure and happy about making a leap forward from iPhone 5 to a cool iPhone X. If the 6 or 7 people walking around asking people what they need help with and signing them up on waiting lists, would help people instead of putting them on lists, the waiting lists wouldn't be as long. Having an "appointment" I have never waited less than a half hour and have waited upwards of 90 minutes. And then they lie to you about how long the wait is. 10 minutes you say? That's what you said 25 minutes ago. Not that other Apple stores are much better, but this one is the worst. If you have to go here, go first thing in the morning when they open otherwise you will wait.

I scheduled to have my iPhone repair at 6:05 pm the day before. I arrived at 5:30 pm and wanted to have my phone fixed asap. However, an employee told me to wait at a table and that I was rescheduled to 6:50 pm. I was a little annoyed and angered by this, but decided to be patient. When it was time, no one showed up to my table. I asked nearby employees when my technician will arrive. They only told me to wait as someone will come. Noone did. It was 7:30 pm and I was furious, in the inside. I demanded to see the manager as I had wasted more than 2 hours for an appointment I had made before I went to the store. After arguing with the manager, a technician finally came. I always thought Apple's customer service was superb, but I learned that that is not true everywhere, especially at the Garden State Plaza. Apple seriously needs to change its management or fire a lot of unqualified employees.

I had a great experience with Georgia on a recent visit to get my phone back up and running. The wait was over 2 hours and she made me an appointment, but said she could probably fix my issue herself if I did not mind that she had to assist others in making appointments at the same time. Due to her incredible multi-tasking skills and great customer service, I was out of there in about 30 minutes and my phone issue was fully resolved. She truly went above and beyond.

So disappointing from the service I received recently. One of my iphone’s stopped turning on and since it would cost me $319 to fix it I decided to buy another phone and one of the Apple employee told me I can get up to $200 for the old phone but once I was transferred to new sale associate he said I’m not getting anything for that phone because it doesn’t turn on. I was in the Apple store for 2 hours transferred from one employee to second and third. I purchased a lot of products from Apple in the past( IMac, 4 iPads, 6 iPhone all together) and its very disappointing how $200 is so little for the Apple company to lose but yet have so big negative opinion to gain from a valued customer. That iPhone it’s only 15 months old, no scratch, or any other physical damages to the phone at all and looks like new because I had very good covers on all my apple products.

High volume Apple Store tries to provide good service and friendly experience, but sometimes the wait can be long. Last time I entered, checked in, and waited 20 minutes. When I went back to the check in guy, a new guy was there and told me I was not in the system! Other than that, most of the staff here are very helpful and friendly.

Great service. Super fast. Super simple. I got the EarPods. They are awesome. You just can’t go wrong with the EarPods. These things are amazing and the battery life is just awesome. I would definitely invest into these. And when you go to the store make sure to ask directly for the EarPods. Don’t go looking around wondering where they are looking on the shelves etc. and so forth, because they aren’t there. You have to go up and ask one of the employees to go in the back and grab you a pair, for obvious reasons. So go ahead make the investment, you most definitely won’t regret it.

I made an appointment to replace the battery and repair the screen. They took my phone and said come back in 1 hour. They took my whole phone apart to replace the battery and screen. Claim it had water damage. Put the phone back together without repairing the screen or replacing the battery like I asked. Then said I can buy the same model 6 that they don’t make anymore. And they don’t advise doing. And I should look into a new phone model. They already had the phone apart!! Seriously!!??! They created this mess with scamming people and now they want me to buy a new phone??!!? This is all bull!!

And the people who help you are sometimes just rude. It’s really just a hit or miss. If you go be aware that there are long wait times and some people are just rude.

Big and a little bit uneven but when it's good it's superb ! In Manhattan, there's never an off-time at the Apple stores. But at Garden State Plaza, there are off-times and boy is it a pleasure. Plus, the staff is great... Memorably knowledgeable in fact. And there's parking! It's in a mall! Just try not to go on Saturday when it's really jammed- which is more like how it is in Manhattan locations all the time.

Went to purchase an iPad from this store with the intention of trading in my old iPad for credit. When I presented my old iPad for trade in, the salesperson laughed and said it's too old to receive any credit for it (it's an iPad 3). I then went the Apple at Menlo Park Mall and easily got the trade in credit for my old iPad. When I told the Menlo Park Apple folks what happened at the Garden State Plaza location they were shocked. This particular saleperson's incompetence at the Garden State Plaza location is completely disappointing, and makes me wonder what kind of hiring criteria they have for their salespeople. I would definitely think twice before going to this store for anything other than a simple sales transaction.

Phone was broken and they said if i pay $600 i can get a replacement. Went home and realized the camera doesn't work. Reterned the next day and was told that they can't do anything because i opened the phone and its missing a screw. How can you even open an iphone anymore. Dont you need special machines ? Friendly but slow. Left a phone for the ghost touch fix which was supposed to take about an hour. Didn’t get a text until 2 hours later so I just came to the store for an update and it was ready (of course). Now I’m still waiting to pick it up and it’s been 30 minutes already and still counting. I see many employees just hanging around but no one to bring out my phone that is “ready.”

They were able to fix a broken jack in a mini ipad in 5 mins although the wait was over 2 hrs, and the alternatives of were not good given that I just bought it 6/9/18 & that was not covered. But they were able to remove the broken jack and my 5 yr old granddaughter was sooo happy...

I went with a friend who needed a new battery for her iPhone. Was told she'd have to make an appointment to come back the following week. When she went back, it took 2 hours. I'll stick with my Samsung. I needed a power cord for my iPod. I found it myself, but it took 30 mins just get someone so I could pay.

Apple store in garden state plaza is very nice. You can buy any Apple device here. Also they have Genius bar here so you can fix any of your Apple device. Make sure you make Appointment for Genius Bar so you will not wait and loose your time. Staff is very professional and very polite.

I am a CEO with over 14 iPhones and a company with apple computers. I came to Apple store in Paramus mall and waited for about 1 hour to see a genius. He told me the repair would cost $150 but suggested I buy the iPhone Xs Max. I came back the following morning to buy the Xs Max but was told by associate that I couldn’t use the upgrade program because I had a corporate account. I said fine and asked for the $150 swap offered by the Apple genius the night before. I was then told that I needed to get on the genius que again and wait another hour unnecessarily. I asked to speak to a manager and was denied and told I had to needlessly wait again. This is really a poor protocol. If a customer already waited and then sought to take the genius’s advice and found that he couldn’t, he shouldn’t be forced to needlessly wait again. You are punishing a faithful customer and creating bad faith. This is not the Apple I have known and loved for decades.

Worst Experience and not customer friendly staff. I have given working iPhone for repair to fix camera focus. My Device was tested in Apple store for any damages and taken for repair but apple repair center open up my phone and told device got rust inside (10 months old phone has RUST !!) so they need $549 to fix it and later when I declined paying for device they returned my phone which was NOT EVEN powering up / switching ON. I have given working iPhone to apple for repair of minor issue and they ended up returning broken phone and left me with no choice but to pay $549 as my phone was not even turning on. Genius bar Manager - Melissa in garden state plaza apple store (Paramus NJ location) was not even understanding issue and made up her mind and kept asking me to pay $549 or take home broken phone. I say she doesn't have patience to understand customer issue or device issue and apple should put experienced person in her place to reduce this type of damage to other customers. My Phone was 10 months old and was using in normal conditions and genius bar and apple repair team cornered me and made me pay $549 to replace my phone because they open it up and could not able to fix camera issue and broken my phone completely. Never visiting Apple store at Garden State Plaza at Paramus NJ.

Maybe I'm biased due to switching to Samsung a month ago, but even when I was an apple user I was never a fan of coming here. Though the workers are always ridiculously nice, the store itself is laid out terribly and there seems to be little room for the constant amount of people who come in. Especially when you're trying to repair a phone and they have you wait in a weird tight area in the back of the store (not that there's anywhere else to go). Furthermore, appointments are oddly managed and can be cancelled randomly, but that has only happened to me twice. Like I said, you can't beat this store if you're looking for amazing customer service- and most apple store layouts likely won't be any better

Ive spent $5,000 a year consistently for there past 5 years and everyone seems so cheerful and helpful when you are purchasing something, but when an issue arises all the employees turn into the Walking Dead. After wiping all my products twice, and agreeing to replace the refurbished phone they gave me, they decided not to do it. why I will never know. Manager is trained to shake your hand and agree and apologize, but not fix your issue. 3 days later and my iMessage and phone calls still don't work.

Why they don’t separate the folks waiting for a non-phone product vs phone is beyond me. The phone items take 3x as long to complete because of activations, etc. I’m not coming here any longer. Tices is so much better run. The management in the GSP here are not good at all.

Thanks to his guidance I was very satisfied with the result of solution to my issues. Plus we had a fun conversation along with another associate. Go anywhere else but not here....... Worst staff... specially manager MELLISSA we went to fix MacBook screen they said they will do it for free. And then after few days when we went to take fixed screen they said you have to pay $600.00 for fixing the screen. I took my FREEZING iPhone X , that assisstant uodated my phone and said if it this will happen again we will replace it. However issue was not resolved and my phone again started freezing after few days. Again I went to apple centre. They said we can update your iPhone we can’t replace it. And when I told that assistant and manager that if this will happen again in future then do I have to come again and again. manager rudely said, yes you have to come we can’t do anything, that’s phone and she was being so rude. Don’t know how to speak to customer.... badly respond.

They are thieves. I am beyond appalled with this store. They make Apple customer care look nonexistent. As a customer who has spent 10k+ worth of apple products I had to jump through hoops to get a repair done on my iMac's faulty plastic display hinges which are covered free of charge. Even if you GOOGLE it, there are articles that say Apple will cover the repair. After 3 trips and countless phone calls being placed on hold and having the Apple reps on my phone chat with store employees, my product finally gets fixed. Mind you, when my husband went to pick up the iMac they still insisted on having to pay $100+ for hinges! - faulty plastic ones that Apple admits were not strong enough to hold up the iMac display. So after back and forth, they release the iMac. My husband brings it home, we unwrap the screen and lo and behold, they had detached the power cord and did not give it back! (I did not even know it was detachable) So we call and they say they have no record of the power cord! So we call Apple and they call the store. The store has no record and does not know where it is. Apparently they don't make those cords anymore. So now I have a $$$ iMac that I can't even use. Damn THIEVES. This store has robbed of : - a power cord that's no longer manufactured. - precious time with my family because I don't live particularly close to the store and I have a 6 month old baby. Do you know how HARD it is to have time to get an iMac ANYWHERE with a baby so I have to wait for my husband to be available on a weekend to help carry it. - money because I use that machine to work on as a freelancer and have not been and will not be able to use this machine until further notice.

People who works at this apple location doesnt seemed to know what are they doing easy to say that maybe they are not well trained. As you walk in by the door THEY DONT EVEN GREET YOU unless you ask for help this is not my 1st time on this store let us say this is one of my local apple store in the area that close where i live. Other people who works here are rude'and lazy, instead of be grateful that they have a job and be helpful but instead they are talking to each other and gossiping instead of helping other costumers instead making more sales and help other costumers to able for apple to pay theire hours of working but doing nothing. I feel bad for the store so for the name of the store. If i were to be working here i will be proud and always put love and smile to my job and be grateful i hope apple will resolve this issue. Specially with sales representatives it is theire reputations to gave good service not only for good products but for other people who desserves to work in this store intead of hiring lazy and ungrateful people. Y’all listen up, let’s start the beginning so I bought a brand new iPhone 8 like 2 hrs ago, so since I’m updating it froze, but for a good minute, so I went to the apple store and asked a young lady to help me because I’m pretty sure it was a reset but I didn’t know how to do it because my phone was acting up. you would think someone at the store might know how to reset it and her exact words were “idk just return it” so I’m like you can’t do anything and she’s like no. So I went to another young nice man, and he fixed it in 5 seconds because he dead said “it’s just a simple reset, your phone is like a computer and since it’s new, it’s updating all your info, so it’s pretty normal. Then after he said that, boom my phone was fixed. No tea no shade, he deserves a raise :) peace and love

Bill the manager is definitely in the wrong line of business. This guy is impolite, incompetent and lack the basics of management skills let alone dealing with customer service. I am surprise this guy has a job and I am surprise #Apple is still keeping him. The two times I was there it was such a small issue that could have been resolved easily by any manager with a head over their shoulder. instead this guy turned it into this big fiasco reading policies for me and protocols that made absolutely no sense. Others in the store were very helpful but on both occasions this guy was a deck and I even have him on video being extremely out of line and I shared the video with Apple who I thought would fire him but seems to still be here which is only an indication that #Appledoesnotcare I will happily share the videos with anyone who cares. I am sure if anyone in #applemanagement care enough they can come to realization of how incompetent this guy is by simply having some conversations with their own staff in the store.

The best people ever work there, I had an appointment and as it was Saturday I was late because of parking spots as all Saturdays are ; and the best part of the day was that I got assisted and my request was completed so fast , even I considered myself I might stay there loooong. Not the case in this shop , everybody there is so nice and helpful and I would never change the place . I was assisted by Mike and talked to other staff too that directed me to the right spot, they are the best.

Staff have little knowledge about their products and programs. Went to go get my Apple Watch repaired and received 3 different answers from 3 different people. My last visit to try and get it fixed was horrendous. I talked to a representative to try and set up a Genius Bar appointment but instead he tried selling me whole new product instead of getting it fixed. He also tried to act like the service I needed didn’t exist and buying a new device was the only option. After settling that dispute, he instead sets up an appointment for me to CALL APPLE SUPPORT inside of the store. After talking with the representative on the phone, I asked the lady on the phone if this behavior was normal and she was confused herself. She then asked me to put a manager on the phone to understand why they directed me to the call center. It was then that they revealed that they only direct guests to call support if the wait time for the Genius Bar exceeds 2 hours, which was never mentioned to me or given as an option in case I wanted to wait it out. I decided to just let the lady over the phone assist me instead of the store. The funniest thing of all is that the procedure to fix an Apple Watch is to send the device through the mail to the service centers. The store’s only job was to put it in a box and mail it, they don’t fix it themselves. It took me 3 trips to the store to do this and I left unsuccessfully all 3 times. Pathetic!
