Beautiful store! Although light on stocking things that other smaller stores stock (nanoleaf lights were not on stock here)

George Roy

Once upon a time, it was pleasure some dealing with the Apple Store. Now, wait times are longer than Dr. appointments and the pleasure has turn to unpleasantness. I no longer speak positively about Apple, but critically. You've become too big for your britches alienating once devoted customers.

Jared Gradowski

Well let me just say one thing FALSE ADVERTISEMENT FOR JOB OFFERING says they are looking for a manager position then got interviewed and was told they dont have open positions are you serious how do you do something like that to somebody who had their hopes up are you advertising for the hell of it?! Like really worst apple store ever

David Diel

Staff member smelled of weed and wanted to make me wait 25 minutes to return a charging cable, because a technician supposedly needed to check it out in order to accept the return.

Davis 2

Jim Felice was wonderful and so helpful. He made the transfer to a new iPad smooth and painless. The wait time was very reasonable for a Friday at noontime.

Mitch T

Great selection and i was completely satisfied with the help from the staff. They helped me book an appointment and i'm looking forward to it!

Rj Jr

High sky prices for phones, then they can't fix simple thing like a microphone issue

Eric Oyama

Super fast. Had what I needed and was out in less than 4 minutes.

Mann Singh

Great experience... we went for phone repair and they offered new phone at the cost of repair.. amazing..

Oliver Zohn

I love apple very much so I think the Apple store is great. It’s fun seeing all the different products and it is a fun place to be in.

Donna Cognac

Just writing this review to call attention to the fact that many of the reviews listed here appear to have been written 2 and 3 years ago. This store has only existed since January of 2017.

LEONARDO ARAUJO

Good Service.

Debbie Lane

I saw the "less than 3 stars" and thought I need to write a review. However as I'm writing the review and trying to cancel an apt scheduled for tomorrow....I'm now leaving a negative review. I should be able to cancel an apt with ease...not need to enter my life away to cancel an apt a very nice man helped me determine if I needed the apt or not!

Pietro Locontro

Beautiful place to walk skating and shopping

Trina Gupta

I've been on hold for more than 7 minutes just to talk to a customer service representative about getting a new battery for my Iphone6. That seems like substandard customer service.

Noelle Spinosa

Charles saved the day at apple and made my purtas well as unfortunate demise of my previous Mac pleasurable. He is knowledgeable, patient and kind. I hope they treat him right.

Gordon Cole

I came in Jan1 for a Genius Bar appointment and had “Colin” for a rep. He was just awesome. Knowledgeable and very helpful.

Jerry DiFiore

Utter chaos.

Cord Tocci

Gotta love how Apple has been outfitting their storefronts. Great place to shop or get your Apple products fixed. Had my Mac serviced here recently; the Genius tech was very informative and helpful. Good vibes from the staff members, friendly and inviting.

Jon Koch

I dropped my Iphone 10 a while back and the display stopped working. I didn't have time to fix it then so I pulled out my old Android phone and swapped the SIM card. A few days later I was mountain biking and I put my phone on top of my car and drove off with it up there. That led me to come into the apple store in Lynnfield right at opening. They quickly brought someone out (I forget his name but he had tattoos and red hair) and he basically had me in and out of there. After running diagnostics on my old phone and learning I was under warranty still, they brought out a new phone, restored it from a backup, and even activated a new SIM card for me. I was out of there in about 30 minutes with a brand new replacement phone. The gentlemen who helped was a true professional and was super honest about everything. It's a bit far from where I live but I was beyond impressed with the service and capability of the staff.

Carol Simpson

4 visits in 3 weeks with issues with a brand new iPhone7. Consistently overbooked and frazzled in this place. Had appointment, showed up on time after fighting ridiculous market street traffic and was told “no technician available”. Finally they diagnosed issue with sim card tray defect. Blamed me for damage and tried to charge for replacement tray. I didn’t even know where tray was! I complained to manager Scott, who again curtly blamed us for issue and sent us out the door with a “See ya”. No, you won’t be seeing us again! Terrible service. Go elsewhere!

David Porter

It would be zero stars if possible. The wait at this place is unbelievable. They tell you 5 mins at the door and you end up waiting for 45 with not a thing solved by the end of it. Waste of your time to ever show here.

Katie Evans

Super nice and helpful staff

Kwoods

I waited 8 hours to get 3 phones turned on only to be told that it failed and to come back the next day to spend another 2 hours to do the last phone it was rediculous.

Bornier Cruz

The appointments are over booked. I had a simple iPhone exchange since the product I had burn on his own. It took them more than an hours an haft to assist me. The service really sucks.

Jarrod LaRocco

Very organized. Before the store opens they have staff outside getting ahead by diagnosing people's issue and assigning them an area to get service inside. Was in and out in less than 5 minutes.

This is the best apple store I've been to. The lady that manages this store goes above and beyond for the customer. I just bought the 2017 Macbook Pro a couple weeks ago just to find out Apple released a newer version this week. She not only understood my concern of paying over 2k for an outdated laptop but was able to upgrade me for no charge. I will continue giving this center my business seeing as how all my home products are from apple!

J. Awesome love the strings D.

very helpful know products

It has to make you wonder how a multi billion dollar company has such poor reviews. Horrible service! I wish Samsung had a better operating system. They find every reason possible to avoid honoring a warranty. This store especially stinks. Arrogant to say the least. I went to CPR Cell Phone Repair and they took great care of me. No fuss, no hassle, just great customer service. I’m buying my next phone there.

Claire Lamont

I truly had high expectations for this highly anticipated store. After all of the publicity, press, and media exposure Apple clearly thinks sleek modern aesthetics and presentation are an adequate substitute for basic customer service. I expect the lines and chaotic environment with the opening of a new store but once inside the ball was 100% dropped. I went in for a simple display replacement and was finally noticed by an employee after almost 25 minutes standing right in front of check in staff. Once "helped" (if you want to call it that) I was told it would be about 45 minutes to an hour for the repair and I put my name in the que. After waiting the employee who was returning my device to me seemed almost puzzled as to the exact whereabouts of my device and disappeared to the back. Once my device was finally found I was told how much my replacement screen cost. I told the employee I had apple care on my device and it shouldn't have come to the amount it did. A female employee then interrupted my interaction with the employee helping me and was very short, cold, and seemed to speak to me as if I didn't know what I was talks about telling me there is no apple care coverage listed for my device. After they checked up on it on their end my apple care information was magically found and the price was adjusted. In my honest opinion, every visit when the store was located in Peabody was easy, fast, and not stressful at all. Clearly this new store means more to those who run it than the very people who step into it. I will not be returning.

Eddie C

They suck ! No management at all. Terrible handling of battery issue.

Roger Cowles

Daughter broke her iPad and got a replacement very quickly. Love Apple care! Decent apple store, friendly staff, usual array of shiny apple products.

Anthony Garcia

If you have a choice go anywhere else. So I got told to leave the store because I came in early for my appointment. Yup, come back in 20 minutes. Not take a seat and we will be with you in a few minutes. Leave and come back. I asked him if he understood what he just ordered a customer to do. Im even tempered and I have a lot of respect for retail employees. I could never do what they do. It's a thankless job. But you don't throw a customer with an appointment out of a public establishment for showing up early to said appointment and then not understand why you are getting annoyed... I have never been treated so terribly. If I ever treated a client like that I would have been terminated on the spot. But It's apple so employee of the month.

Michael Campbell

Great atmosphere and product. Initially I had less than positive experience on a repair issue. But they doubled down and redeemed themselves before I could make a peep. I know they are not perfect, but there is a reason they are the most valued company in the world.

Fuck You

If I could give less than 1 star I would. They refused to honor their I-Phone 6 battery replacement offer for $29. BS never buy another apple product again. Went to Local shop in Saugus. Paid $30 but the but phone now works as good as new. The apple store tried selling me a new phone and refused to honor their replacement program Bad bad

OperatingKingYT

Not sure what all the criticisms is about here. The place itself has an eye catching design and the store also has a nice layout. I went there to look around, maybe for a new phone and the staff was friendly towards me and showed me all the options. I ended up leaving without a new phone but that was only because I had to go somewhere else. Overall a great experience for an Apple user looking for a new device.

Manny Mannan

Unfriendly, arrogant, rude, not really trying to help... list is long... if I pay a 1000$ for a new Iphone that is randomly powering off and freezes I expect a bit better service from Apple.

mable wong

I would give them negative stars if I could. I tried calling the store 3x and got disconnected by the automated system. It's so inferior. Worst experience. Your store is giving Apple a bad name. I normally shop at the Burlington store but they're temporary closed due to renovation.

David Barbosa

Terrible efficiency in this store. 5-6 employees standing around while customers wait 45 minutes to be helped

Allison Person

I had the BEST experience at an Apple Store EVER. I was greeted kindly upon walking in, delt with professionally, my problems solved quickly, and all the associates I interacted with were intelligent, informative, and fun - also, not pushy to make me buy anything - just solidified that this will be my go-to store from now on. Thank you Miguel and Steven! ;)

Sarah Beth

Got there around 1130 and left at 150 with a new replaced iphone with my 4 year old and infant. There was an hour wait when I got there. Yes there was a long wait with no appointment, but the customer service from Jack (iPad artiest), Kay, and Colin was superb! Jack was so engaging with my daughter asking open/ended question to her and taught my daughter how to draw on the iPad and let her continue to use it as we waited. All three team members had awesome people skills that even though it was a long wait it didn’t seem like it. Very happy!

Steven Cronin

This place is horrible the "genius" bar is completely useless and no one is on the same page. One guy told me one thing and the other lady said it wasn't true. I did a lot of running around and coming back into the store for nothing. Also the prices at the new facility seem to be WAY higher than other places. Would NOT recommend even looking at this building.

Peter Liacos

Even the registry is better than the apple store

Tim Phillips

Outstanding appointment today at Apple Lynnfield. We had an issue on a brand new MacBook Air which was not functioning. They were good enough to completely replace it which renewed my confidence in Apple and Apple products

Ryan Plunkett

Went here to purchase a phone. Was told 45 minute wait, to purchase, yes, purchase. Left the store and walked around for 30 minutes. Came back and my spot in line was gone. Added my name to the list again. Contemplated the ridiculousness of the fact I have to wait another 25 minutes to swipe a credit card and in turn receive a box. I cancelled my spot in the queue. Just before leaving, I voiced my displeasure to the employee I cancelled with. As I'm halfway out the door, he disdainfully responds "Happy Black Friday". Wish I got his name. Apple prides themselves on in-store experience and helpful employees. This man was the antithesis of an apple employee and this store is a joke.

Kerry Smith

I can't wait to dump my iphone as their support is awful. I didn't realize you had to make an appointment so I made one and went back another day. All I needed was a battery replacement and when I got there for my appointment they told me it would take 2 hours to replace it !!! Whats the point of having an appointment if you have to wait 2 hours - its not like they had to repair my phone. The Manager tried to give me some condescending answer that made no sense since he knew exactly what I was coming in for.

Marcus Archibald

If you want to get in and get out in 2 minutes, probably not going to happen. But the store gets a lot of traffic and they deal with it the best they can. Always pleased with the staff, it's just always super busy.

gwendolyn tyre

I went to the Lynnfield store at 1:14 with an iPhone issue and was told that my appointment would be between 1:45 and 2:15. At 4:15, after taking other customers who came in after me without appointments with phone issues (I asked), Carl told me that I needed to continue to wait. He seemed determined not to help me and not to address the issue of a 3 hour wait. Finally, at 4:45, I told a tech about my wait and the issue of taking others before me and he got me help right away. The tech was wonderful. Carl on the other hand IS AWFUL. My experience at Cambrideside Galleria was just the opposite. Market Street needs to take a lesson from Cambridgeside.

Dean Intonti

While the workers are helpful and nice there are not enough of them. Apple products are getting worse and worse quality as the years pass..just received a loaner phone when a software update caused the antenna on my phone to short out and left me without service for 2 days while away. They predicted I’ll the loaner phone for 2 weeks while they ‘fix’ my old one.. funny how their software negligence is now impacting my life. Pce our Apple, you were great while you lasted

Mike Jones

Not the best location but not the worst. The best advice I can give you is to make an appointment before you arrive. Also when entering it’s almost near impossible to get the attention of one of the Apple guys who will have to check You in.

HuffPuff Productions

Walked into the store at 10:15am on a friday (15 MINUTES after the store opened) made an appointment to see a technician and it was an 1 hour 15 min wait. At 11:30am I got a text saying it was my turn, I walked back in and the guy took down the color of my pants and shoes (lol) and noted that I was wearing a hoodie and told me to sit on a cube... After sitting on a cube for 3 mins a tech guy introduces himself and asks to have a seat on the other cube beside me. After explaining my problem (the iphone 8 home button was not flush and slightly raised on one side) the tech asks to bring my phone in the back to have it check out. About 5 mins later he comes out and starts telling me that the whole front screen will need to be replaced in order to fix the button and "because its a cosmetic issue" I would have to pay to replace it as its not covered. Annoyed, I explained to the tech that the phone was 2 days old, was clearly faulty as he had just confirmed and that I shouldn't be responsible for a flaw caused by the factory. The tech was very understanding stating that I was right and told me he would see what they can do as he left to the backroom again. After another 5 mins of waiting on the cube the tech comes back and to my surprise tells me that they will replace the device. A few mins later and I walk out of the store at 11:50am with the new device. I would have gave 5 star but the wait time was rather long and can only imagine how annoying it would be if it was longer.

Super, very nice

After an hour of working with representatives on the phone on an Apple Watch that would not accept a software update or pair to a phone they made us an appointment to go to the Lynnfield Apple Store to have it further looked at. When the tech came over he tried the same thing we had been doing on the phone with the representatives and then said that he knew of nothing else to do and that he would have to send the watch off to be repaired and that it would cost $229 regardless of the issue. I explained my concern that if it was because of a software update, that was a flaw with the software and not a broken watch and he said he understood but that's the way they handle watches. I asked to speak with a supervisor and he agreed. She came over, did not look at the watch, and told us that it would cost the $229 and there was nothing that could be done about it. I asked again to speak to a supervisor and got Ben Simon, Senior Manager for the branch. He came over wearing shorts and slippers (no one else was) and sat down asking what was going on. During the conversation, it was apparent that he already made up his mind to hold fast to the $229 charge because without even looking at the watch or the problem, he said in my experience most issues with these watches is hardware not software but I am not a technician so they would decide that and it costs $229 because you made the choice not to buy Apple Care. He said that the watch would be sent off, repaired, and sent back and that it would cost $229 to pick it up. I explained that on the phone they relayed the information differently saying that they would look at the watch, contact me with repair costs, and allow me to decide next steps. His reply was condescending saying, "well people do make mistakes." I told him I realized that and asked if he could verify the information he was giving me and he told me that I could look that information up myself because he was pretty sure that he was correct. At that point I was livid and asked who I could speak with above him and he told me that I could call Tim Cook if I wanted to and the problem would land back on his desk to fix because that was his job. I asked his title and he said Senior Manager so I asked for the General Manager and he told me that I could call Apple Support and complain to them if I did not like his answers. I did call Apple Support and had the fee waived in less than 30 minutes because Taylor, the phone representative, took the time to listen to the concerns about it being a software issue and not a problem with the physical watch. She heard the fact that the watch was working before it failed to install the update and unpaired from the phone. Ben Simon is not professional enough to be a Senior Manager. He is condescending and does not listen to understand. He has a formulated response in his head and just waits until he can deliver it. His goal was to get me out of the store and to be snide and petty in the process. I would stay away from this store!

Mike Levine

Horrible! I really can’t stand Apple anymore. They put out a recall and then find a way not to honor it. Time to buy a Samsung!

Em Wood

On hold w/ the automated system for an absurd amount of time. All I want to do is book an appointment to come into the store to fix my laptop. It keeps asking for a serial number, which I know can be found in about this mac, but my laptop won't even turn on. So it just transfers me to "support" where I'm never taken off hold. JUST LET ME BOOK AN APPOINTMENT.

liam mcneill

Don’t have anything in stock

G Rios

They have like 20 employees idling, talking amongst themselves not even helping anyone. I needed a replacement product, told was all set, I would get a ph call. 3 wks later no Ph call, no email, store doesn't have a file on my issue????

tom

Went to store to have phone fixed, camera needed replacement was told had to wait more than 6 hours, had to come back. then when I gave them the phone again, after 3 hours, the tech told me all I had to do was change the settings, He did not even look at the phone. So if I buy a phone I cant use all the functions, nope complained .then I was told to reset the phone, and If that did not work bring it back. So the first time I took it in they were going to replace the camera, the second time I took it in I need to reset it. A bunch of morons works at that store in Lynnfield.

Eileen Morris

Apple store was fair - great service even though the wait is lengthy. Legal seafood and J. Jill always great with excellent service. Pottery barn kids I would give an F for failure in almost every category. We found an adorable elephant rocking horse which was on the shelf. The sales person would not sell it to us, would not order one, told us there was not one in any local store and was not helpful, had a horrible attitude and did not smile once and was thoroughly unpleasant and unhelpful. The item was $150. So not insignificant but I guess the neither the customer or the sale matters. She would NOT be working for me!

Adailton Lopes

Great place, i came back in future.

Roberto A

Was in & out in 30 minuets when apple had to replace my phone. No problems

VINCE MURPHY

Good location - have been to many Apple stores since I owned the original iPhone in 2007 Some good some terrible. The biggest gaff was iPhone 6 I kept bring in saying battery was no good and the idiots kept saying it was fine!!! I had a problem with one of my iPhone 7 and after a few attempts decided to go in and get it looked again. A1 person I got she was great and made the trip and store to me 5 stars. She took care of my Iphone and fixed the problem correctly. So she actually makes it 1p stars if I had someone else who knows but it's a decent one smaller in size store

Diamondslimee .

I went to the apple store on a Friday, and we made an appointment for 30 minutes later. We waited 3 hours and we finally got it. I saw people get there after us and get helped. Worst people and place of my life.

Luis C. Figueroa

Bad experience and make WASTE YOUR TIME, wasn’t a disrespect, apple intentional bug you phone so phone battery die, bring the phone early January and after wait for diagnostic at store for hours, apple Found and recognized of the battery issue and offer a replacement, whit the news of wait 6 weeks to have battery available, after 6 weeks bring the phone for battery replacement same process make and appointment and wait for 1 hrs after it.... Surprise refuse to replace the battery because according to the the phone has water...wth??? Even mentioned that it could be as we took a shower with it... What??? Are kidding is an iPhone S and let me tell you thi iPhone are not water proof so I do not take any shower with it, it works perfectly, but, the only issue is ten battery.... so they even suggest to buy a new phone are you kidding***. Your are apple and service should be your flag... I recommend if you refuse to replace the batteries be straight and no make people WASTE TIME with false expectations... highly disappointment... NoM. more IPhones for me

Robert Thomson Jr

I got what I wanted but it was ackward to find someone to check me out.

Kevin Donaher

Long wait but the customer reps were very helpful. My advice get there when it opens , get on the list and be ready to wait! Best part is they will take the time needed to resolve your problems. I guess that's why you have to wait so long.

Don Melanson

Very helpful staff

Stephen Harte

Excellent service here. We worked with Patrick who was outstanding. He was professional, funny and very patient with an 80 year-old woman who is sometimes afraid of technology. He definitely didn't try to sell her something she didn't need. In fact, he explained why an older model of iPhone might be perfect for her needs and spent a long time showing some of the settings she could use to customize the phone.

John McCabe

Very helpful and interesting.

Jacob Goliti-Chase

Gorgeous wall-sized screen makes this glass-encased store space aesthetically pleasing. The multitude of Apple techs are generally knowledgeable and helpful in resolving most common malfunctions. That said, this place loses a star for its location buried inside a labyrinthine complex with no signage, no maps, and a bewildering layout. I've traveled extensively on four continents, yet literally have had to stop to ask for directions to the Apple Store every time I've tried to locate this store. Get yourselves on a map, Apple Store Market Street!

David Knopf

Friendly people and knowledgeable. Understood problem and fixed it.

Michael Reynolds

I despise Apple and their products, the people who we dealt with are pretentious a-holes. Would prefer anyone elses products.

Elenice Fox

Arrived at the store at 12:31, waited until 1:34pm for them to tell me that They could help me at 3:15 pm. People at this location are so unhelpful it is unbelievable. I am so frustrated. Got the XR less than a month ago and it is a problematic phone and they seem not to care about customers frustration.

Ariana Flessas

I went to Apple for a screen issue that had been plaguing my computer for months. No other Apple store could give me answers. The tech here new immediately what the issue was, put it in for repair and it was ready in no time. I am so impressed with their customer service and turn around time.

matthew C

I bought an iPhone online and Tried to return it within 14 days. Thy refused to do it. Apple always gives me the worst customer experience. And this store is the worst.

Ali Usmi

Over crowded and busy. Associates are helpful but long wait time.

I. B.

This is the worst Apple Store I’ve ever been. You can spend there the whole day and later leave it without any help. They chat each other and simply do not care about customers. The floor store manager is rude. In addition this store has poor ventilation . I better use Samsung Note 10 whole my live than enter this store again. Salem Nh, NashuaNH, Burlington MA , Boston MA, but not this store. Just some examples: They claimed the Apple Upgrade iPhone is SIM locked. They don’t know what is eSIM, ..... I wish I can give 0 stars to the store.

Jaclyn Leonard

I had an appointment. I showed up 15 minutes early, waited in line and signed in and was told to wait. After not being helped for 45 minutes I asked someone when I would be helped. I was told I was not even checked in yet and that I would now be helped next. After many more people were helped ahead of me, I asked again when I would be helped and was given the response “this is just how it works”. After an hour being in the store I was helped and they could not fix what I came there for. DO NOT COME HERE. You will waste your time. While here I also over heard a customer complaining that she had an appoint and was helped, then the person that was helping her stepped away and would “be right back”. She was asking another employee to help find him after waiting 30 minutes for him to come back.

Amanda Catania

We came in to set up a phone we bought for Christmas. We were told the wait time was 20 minutes. It has been an hour and those who came in behind us have been serviced before us. I want to add more but I’m still waiting for service and I’ve been told I can’t leave the store or else I lose my place in the line and I have to start all of this over again. Update: after an hour a manager came to see us cause we’re the only people who haven’t moved for over an hour in Thebes technical support area. Been told the wait time has been an hour all day and despite the fact at the time of purchase we were told we didn’t need to make an appointment. We were informed that we needed to make an appointment in order to have the phone set up.

MathWizard

So I was there today at 1:30ish, and I immediatley got served wright as I walked into the store! It was magic. needed to restore my iPod touch, but it was an hour and a half wait. I’m fine with that though, I’ll come Wednesday!

Nathanael Howland

It took me a month to get my replacement battery. And the pick up times they quoted me for repairs were wrong. They told me the “Phone will be ready at 1:30.” I didn’t get it until 2:15 and I was late for my doctors appointment. Not a happy customer.

Koe Joe

Super bright store, makes you bring your sunglasses cause its extremely bright here! Great good looking staff, handsome bearded men everywhere

Sam Kay

Replaced battery, and they took off my brand new glass screen protector without even telling me that it was required. I wouldn’t have done it if I knew. No replacement screen protector offered.

Brian Cummings

Top notch tech support by Kim for an iPhone battery replacement. Love the Market Street store

David Whitaker

The is a very long wait time just to check out and buy even with very few people in the store.

Lauren B

My friends mom came in here after getting gifted an Apple Watch. No one wanted to help her set it up to her phone and kept passing her along to diffferent employees. She’s not able to make the 2pm class because she’s at work and still no one wanted to help. What kind of customer service is this? Absolutely horrible service.

victor gomez

Went there to get an Apple Watch and upon arrival someone greeted me and told me a representative will be with me in a couple of minutes and someone did and took my order and charge me right there, after a few minutes i had my wife’s watch

Yash Patel

Worse service I ever got.. After Got the message ( We're almost ready for you at the Genius Bar. Please let a Specialist know when you're here. ) I waited 30min in store And then guy came and didn’t solved my problem and they told me that they don’t even know the problem is and told me to restore my phone and set it up again. I don’t have time to install more than 50 applications and enter password for each..

Davis Le

Very packed regardless of the day you visit. It was a 45 minute wait to talk to a salesperson on a weekday afternoon. Customer service was great as expected. I appreciate them for tailoring to my needs instead of pushing the most expensive product into me. Layout makes navigating a lot easier than other locations. Fully glass building with a wood interior makes the building gorgeous compared to other locations.

Jack Hanke

Friendly, incredibly helpful staff; saved me $1,080 on my broken laptop and repaired it for free in record time - and that’s just my latest experience here. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Kenni Kuhlmann-Clark

I had fairly good experiences there, though they do get quite busy at times (that's not their fault of course). Greetings are pretty quick upon entering doors. Waiting to see rep takes a bit longer. They are very nice when talking to you, and willing to help in finding something you might need for your Mac. There was an incidence in 2013 where there was an ongoing issue with my Retina screen from the time in was new (progressive white spotting), and I could never find time to make appointment with guru (or is it genius? anyway, appointments don't work well for busy people; I just wanna drop the computer off and pick it up when it's fixed, not make an appointment). It had gone past time, but Apple service over the phone approved a screen replacement, though the Peabody store tried to charge me for it -- however, the guru called Apple service and got the okay for the free replacement.

Paul Mooney

If I could give less than 1 star I would. They refused to honor their I-Phone 6 battery replacement offer for $29. BS never buy another apple product again. Went to CPR Cell in Saugus. Paid more but the but phone now works as good as new. The apple store tried selling me a new phone and refused to honor their replacement program

Worst Apple store I’ve ever been to. I’ve been to this Lynnfield store multiple times and every time is a huge letdown. This recent visit was probably the final time I come here. While most of the bad reviews focus on service, this review has to do with sales. I was ready to drop $3k on a new iMac and had a few questions first. I go over to the few iMacs they have on display and play around with it a bit, I figured someone would come over and assist me, nope. I finally asked if someone was around to answer a few quick questions before my purchase and was told that they’ll place me in the “cue”, I asked how long and the employee said about 30 minuets. I told him I just had a few quick questions and then wanted to purchase one. Said I’d still have to wait. This store can kiss $3k goodbye! I’ll just order it online. Guess they don’t care because in the end Apple still gets my money. Worst customer service of any Apple Store!

Everyone's nice enough but my issue is that my original issue stemmed from a previous visit to the Apple store, I was given incorrect directions. I did what the woman told me and it messed my MacBook keys up so I went back in to get the keys fixed. The guy was really nice and fixed my keys until he accused me of never having that original appointment. He said there was no record of it so he didn't believe I had that appointment to where the woman gave me incorrect directions

They moved the Apple Store from Peabody to Lynnfield claiming it was larger and could handle more traffic. Here I sit on a Monday morning with a broken phone and can't get a genuis bar appointment until THURSDAY? with no other options close by this is ridiculous and unacceptable

Julie Arrison-Bishop

Had a stellar experience at the Genius Bar with Herman. Customer service was overall excellent and I was very pleased with my experience. Will be back for other Apple needs.

It is always a Dreadful to walk in there to get your iphone serviced...Rude, arrogant, never see customer’s point of views, lack of knowledge, unfriendly and such waste of time etc etc. Never positive! They have system set up for only their Convenience. Seems like they always have a more people working there than customers but still have to wait for someone to give you some services. And all I get is Nothing more than what I already know or I can google and get the answers to...Frustrating. I bought my new iPhone Xs, for over $1000, 3 weeks ago and it is already crashing and giving me problems. Their answer? Back it up and reset up the iphone. I have alot of data and it took 3 days to get everything loaded and made it work as it was before when i used iphone X. Now i have to go though that again and not knowing if that is going to fix the problem? They said it is crashing because i was using Apps that are not Apple Apps like, Netflix, xfinity, American airlines etc. Are they serious? And they would not give money back because it has been over 2 weeks from purchasing and would not offer to give me new phone because it is related to a software problem. Well they better develop a software that works and not blame on others. What a waste of my time again.

Matt Gray has been exceptional and super informative during my upgrade procedure. He was also very quick and very patient, as I had lots of questions and was very undecided on what color device I wanted. Thank you Matt, for all that you do and working with a constant smile with your customers. You’re a rockstar and your diligence doesn’t go unnoticed @ Apple in Marketstreet Plaza!

The staff at Apple stores often exhibit incredible arrogance where customer service is concerned, but this one in Lynnfield takes the prize. I went in at mid-day in the middle of the week, wanting only a replacement battery for my I-phone 6+. Although a number of staff were just standing around the front door, I was told I would have to wait 2.5 hours for an appointment. I explained that I only wanted a new battery. I was then told that a staff member would have to run a “diagnostic” first. Then the battery would have to be ordered, since none are kept in the store! Then I would have to return for a 3rd visit while the battery is installed. I asked if I could make an appt. for the next day & was told no appts. were available for the next 2 weeks! What kind of lunatic business practice is this?? I asked if we could just go ahead & order the new battery now to expedite things, but the reply was that a staff member would have to determine whether the battery was the problem, as if my having to recharge the phone every day after a few hours wouldn’t be a clear indicator of a weak battery. One more thing: I tried phoning the store multiple times before this visit & was always put on hold for 10-15 mins. & was never connected to a person. Everything about this store is a disaster.

Excellent Place to Be. Great Stuff

Most of staff is great. A couple need to be called back to Cupertino for retraining.

Keith Anderson

Always a long line here .

Patricia O'Brien

Sorry guys but your store just doesn’t cut it. The wait is far too long, too many people and not enough staff. I’ll go to New Hampshire quite happily thank you.

Richard Mazzola

It is a very efficent way of correcting issues. The individual who assisted was pleasant and thorough and patient. She worked closely with her senior advisor and together they identified the issues and made every effort to correct.

Laura Konick

I left because the person working was sassy and rude when I asked for help. He gave a terrible attitude and said “I can’t just jump in front of people”. I never wanted to do that!! I just need to know how to take a number, sign in, whatever I needed to do.

Brian Kenyon

It's an Apple store. Buy overpriced computers and phones here in a swanky minimalist store.

Patrick Padden

I can't wait to get something other than an I-phone. The on-line scheduling process is terrible, but eventually, I was offered an appointment FOUR DAYS FROM NOW! Are you kidding??? Samsung here I come!! (I would have given a 0-star, but you need to provide at least 1-star to be able to post.)

Salesman was extremely helpful, enjoyed my afternoon fixing my i pad

I love Apple products, but this is the worst apple store I have been to. They "repaired" my Mac and when I got it back it did not turn on anymore, and when it did, it overheated without entering the operating system, just looping into restart mode. I went there with an appointment, had to wait, and then they told me they forgot to put a screw in the logic board. The manager, Mike, was rude, didn't want to listen despite the issue being their fault. The tech, Sully, was equally rude. As it turns out, I was not the only one to have issues. As I was waiting another individual came to the "genius" bar stating she had her battery changed, and when she went to turn on the computer it did not start. This place has a barely 2.8 rating, so if you need to service your Mac or want to purchase something go to another Apple store. Based on the reviews, and the negative experiences, you don't have to be a "genius" to avoid this store.

Michael Weiner

Never go to this location. They told me to come in and that they would be happy to help me but NEVER told me I NEEDED to make a reservation/appointment. Now I have to wait more than a hour to see someone, grrrrrrr!!!!!

Joseph Grenier

Thank you and fantastic place

Marinell Williams

I went twice to this store, one day to have my phone repaired, and the next day to buy a new phone. The check-in process is extremely confusing. Not clear what you are to do. No number system, people waiting to buy, to have an item repaired, or some waiting for a class to begin - all mixed up. Everyone waiting looked a bit confused. I observed that it was hard for reps to find people, I guess they had a description of the person and a name. Waiting for repairs was a longer wait than simply buying - understandably. Seats are hard stools. Observing this made me want to change and clarify their process, to help customers and Apple employees alike - and they need to change the seating. Once I was served, the young man was patient and kind, and answered all my questions.

Chuck Berry

Terrific place to buy, get info, deal with problems or get assistance on Apple products Sometimes very busy....make appointment.

Megan Littlehale

My mom and I went here to purchase a new phone. We worked with Maddie and Jill, who were both extremely friendly and weren't trying to up-sell us. I was so impressed by their professionalism and that they were honest about how to get the best deal. My mom and I both left very happy after such a painless visit! Thanks so much Maddie and Jill!

Kathleen DeLisle

Wonderful experience at the Genius Bar today. Geoff M. was BEYOND helpful - patient, knowledgeable and stepped in when the phone support wasn't helping. Can't thank him enough for all his help!!!!

Ricky Rosario

Long waits for no reason. Making an appointment is useless they don't attends to you on time. To purchase something its take about an hour.

Shannon O'Toole

I came as a walk in and made an appointment for later that night, I waited 4 hours for that appointment and once I was there, on time, I waited an additional 2 hours before I left out of frustration. Horrible service, rude empolys. One of the male enploys even had his zipper down and pants unbottoned.

Matt Hurst

From online order to store pick-up... the service and onsite staff were incredible.

Henry Torres

Service no good they have so many people and dont atend

Robert Spina

Got an answer to my laptop issue quickly. Made a good solution recommendation.

Sandra Doherty

Walked into this store knowing exactly what I wanted to buy and it took several minutes to even get any attention. That person said he'd get a salesperson to help me and then left. Waited several more minutes, no help. Couldn't get anyone to take my money. Would give it zero stars if possible. Could be because I'm older and they thought I'd be clueless and trouble? Don't know, don't care.

Willian Rocha

Amazing place and a great service. I went there for a technical support and everything was perfect, but don’t go if you don’t have an appointment, the wait time is really long, so I suggest you that call them up or go to make you appointment before any service.

Lucas Mills

Once I got a rep my service was 5/5. Only reason I give 3/5 is because when I got to the establishment about 20 minutes early, I asked a gentlemen if I could turn my macbook in early and I think that somehow offended him? He canceled my reservation. I waited for 30 minutes and asked another guy if he would check my status. I watched his screen he obviously saw i had been cancelled and said my reservation just turned up for him. Good on that guy. He solved all my problems., Just be careful who you talk to!

SHEILA COFFEY

when there is something wrong with my MAC....it is NEVER covered....is ALWAYS cost more...….don't like that …...

Chris Medina

I bought a charger at this store a couple of months ago and they didn't want to do the warranty exchange cause of the little bumps at the end of the charger which alot of chargers have after some time. Overall, the way they treat you there is not genuine no greeting either. Lack of empathy and they lack diversity it's either all white and maybe one Spanish person cause who else would they throw in to deal with a Spanish customer. Didn't see one black person either. Go in there and tell me if I'm wrong actually. I have nothing against apple I love their products and I use to love their customer service. But I call it for what it is. I had another issue with beats x that day and they screwed me over. This is why you guys went from a trillion dollar company to 600 billion dollar company because it's all about the profit not about the consumer the people. Treat people like people not like money or issues.

Claudia Harrington

Corey and James were incredibly helpful!!!!

Monica T

Dina (Manager), Mimosa and Jess went above and beyond to assist me with my iPhone service today. Thank you again for all of your help and for resolving the issue!

Nicole B

Worst apple store ive ever been too people lie about not having products in stock when they really do. Overall customer service was terrible. If you can avoid coming to this apple store then definitely do. Especially the associate with red hair he was the worst one and drop my phone and it stopped working and said that there was nothing he could do

Sir William

A guy probably with name Bob told my brother that he needed "a good credit score" to purchase an iPhone 8. This guy was definitely late 50's and tried to act slick against the younger customers. Bob most likely lives alone as his wife divorced him because he couldn't maintain a job position higher than retail through his whole life.

Chris Berns

In and out in 5 mins, it was awesome. Took far longer to find parking but there was an event that day.

Meg Shimek

Employee sold me the wrong product. Didn’t realize until we drove home. When returning the product they then said the one we originally wanted was over 200$ more. We were precise and simple, knew exactly what we wanted but they still managed to screw it up. Horrible customer service, in-experienced employees. Would not recommend. Been a customer for over 13 years, never experienced such lack of knowledge and customer service.

William Barabino

Great visit today. Everyone was more than accommodating, professional and eager to help. And they were certainly knowledgeable and efficient. I came with problems on iPhone X and iPad and the staff fixed them both. The store is organized and well stocked. And wow is apple efficient or what. Everything is so organized. Thank you apple store.

Kim Hampton

They are not great to deal with

Paul Kerswill

You get what you pay for, and Apple can't be beat for their customer support. Sorry Android, there's no comparison.

Eva Ostrovsky-Kaminsky

Called at 10.00 am for appointment Was given 6.20 pm( !!!!) time Got advice to call the store straight- received offer for Thursday (?!) appointment Also got a suggestion to make a walk- in appointment- tried that at 4.00- was given 3 hours of waiting time- decided to keep 6.20 pm Got in checked in- waiting to be seen (6.35) while watching workers to play with boxes on a shelves- Steve Jobs must be turning in his grave- is it truly the way successful business runs?

Encountered by far the worst Apple store experience of my life today at the lynn field market street Apple Store. Got there at 11 o’clock on a Tuesday and was told there was going to be a 3 and a half hour wait for me to get my beats headphones replaced and my sister to get her ONE MONTH OLD Apple Watch fixed. Deciding that we would just walk around and get food we left our names and made appointments at the Apple store, being reassured that if we needed it, we could request extra time. While ordering food at a market street restaurant, I received a text saying they were ready for me at the store. After requesting an extra 30 minutes and being DENIED, I left my lunch and went to the store only to wait an extra HOUR to be seen and the woman helping me left to go check “paper work” for half an hour. I ended up leaving because I didn’t want to deal with that BS any longer. At 12:45 my sister received a text message saying they were ready for her, even though the time of the appointment was supposed to be 2:30, they told her that she couldn’t request extra time and that if she didn’t come they would move on. Getting to the Apple store an hour earlier than previously told, my sister and I then waited until 2 o’clock for someone to come see us, MEANWHILE; other customers who came in after us were being helped. After asking calmly multiple times if anyone was going to come see us, my sister had a flight to caught so we just left because the time spent waiting around was absurd. I would highly advice the organization of the store to be fixed because it made me want to put my fist through the wall waiting there for no one to help us. I call BS on the LIARS at the Apple store.

These guys are really helpful. I had such a complicated problem and they had the patience to work with me to fix my dilemma. I’m grateful.
