Staff at the print center are really unprofessional, dont know what they are doing and rude when they are overwhelmed which is every time there are more than 2 customers. I'd rather drive to a farther staples to print all my blue prints.

There is a big guy in the copy center and he is very rude. I brought my own copy to get binded but he refused to do it just because it wasn't something they copied. I can't understand it. What can I get binded then?? I went to Fedex and they did it. Very unpleasant experience.
"Captain Kirk" and Josh were amazing! They both went above and beyond to make our experience in the store fun! They catered to both my 4 year old kid and 17 year old kid so I could concentrate on purchasing a new laptop. Typically I dread going into stores with kids, haha! Thank you again for a great shopping experience.

Sales people selling the wrong products and providing information that is not true. I spent over $300. It is all going back and I won't shop there for computer memory again.
I went in on Sunday, September 24 to send UPS boxes. It needed a six inch piece of tape. I was charge for the use of the tape. This has never occured before, and I am at UPS 2x week for the past year..
The Xerox machines were not working when I went here to copy stuff and it took a long time in waiting for them to fix the machines so I could use them like 30-45 minutes to just make a few copies BUT they are the cheapest Xerox machines to use and the people who work there were very nice and helpful and they said the machines give them problems regularly so I feel bad for them .

Had an amazing experience for a print job I needed for company. I needed custom logo notecards quickly. Ordered them online at 1:30pm and was able to pick them up by 4pm. Debbie was extremely helpful and customer focused. She even called the day after to check and make sure everything looked okay and that we were happy with the cards. Highly recommend!

Very typical Staples selling office supply and associated type products and featuring services such as shipping and printing. Locate in a strip mall which gives it ample parking. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. Pretty standard Staples all around.
Needed to use the self service area and the staff was incredibly helpful and all the printers and computers worked seamlessly. I also needed to get a couple printouts bound and although they had gotten busy they were able to complete the job in half the time they promised. Will totally use them again.

What a strange experience.... I went in to purchase a laptop and the "sales" person kept trying to sell me virus and accidental protection. He was not listening to me and literally talked himself out of $700 in store revenue. No wonder Staples is struggling to stay relevant in the marketplace. I'll give them 3 to 5 years before they go BK.
Nathan in copy and print has been wonderful every time I go in for work he bends over backwards to make sure our order is ready. We have been doing our printing there for years and have always had great service. Thank you.

Have a good variety of office supplies computers and all in one printer scanners copiers sometimes you have to chase around the sales people because like any other company they trying to cut back the ones that are there seem very knowledgeable. This particular Staples has plenty of free parking off road
Misquoted the price for copying. When I came back, he apologized, reduced the number of copies charged, and changed service fee from expedited to regular service. Still a lot more cost than the quote, but not as bad as it could have been..
If I could rate them zero I would. Recently stopped in to ship a package via UPS. Was charged $1 for 3 pieces of tape. When I complained I was told I was beat. I paid the $1, and donated a roll of tape for people who are pissed off like me. Staples sucks

Dannielle and her entire team in the Printing Department are absolutely the best! I use their services frequently for presentations and signage for my boat dealership. They always call if they have a question or to let me know that the job is ready for pickup. Many times I have been there where alot of people need their attention and they always handle everyone with a smile! I nominate Dannielle for a future storage or region manager position!

I recently purchased a Lenovo laptop computer at this store. I want to give a shout out to Technical Support Supervisor, Dan. I explained my needs and pointed out the device I was interested in and he assured me it would be adequate. He got it all set up for me including downloading my existing QuickBooks. Upon pickup he went over everything with me in a way I could understand (I’m not technically savvy). Thank you Dan and the rest of the Technical Support staff.

Horrible. It took three tries to find a chair IN STOCK, brand new in a box. (We were offered a whopping 5% discount on the floor samples. Not a chance!) Then, the store could not process credit or debit cards. Then, the store could not process checks. Then, purchases could only be made with CASH. The cashiers were fine, hence the one star. However, management seemed to be a mess at this location. No stock and poorly run.
This school year, family did not have to go all out, like last year's $4000 plus school spending spree. (Tax free weekend definitely a boost.) We again chose Staples for our go to. Strictly the items we needed, not the superstore crowd across the street. Prices comparable on somethings, but added incentive in percent off deal in purchasing a backpack and using rewards points. Received coupon for $$ off next purchase - will come in handy, as we only shopped for 'wide ruled' children last night, and still have our 'college ruled' children to go.

I was not very please when I went in there tonight to print something from my email...not only was there 1 young lady on the printing side but there was a long line that wasn't moving because she had no help. When I went to the manager to ask if someone could help her he clearly said there was nothing he could do and walked away.. he showed no care at all. I won't be coming back in there..

I want to the Staples this morning with my business colleague who had an important document to be scanned as a pdf. We were in a time crunch to get back to work. There was no one to offer any assistance in the Copy Centre. The only option appeared to be to send it as a fax No kidding, in 2018, STAPLES charges $2.29 per page for its faxing service. Never mind that what ai really needed was for it to be scanned as a pdf. I asked for help when I checked out at the register. I was told there was nothing that could be adjusted. We left. I called the Store General Manager, Mike, when I got back to work. He agreed the charge was outrageous but, he was not helpful; he passed the buck and advised that I reach out to the corporate office via an 800 number. This whole experience was not “EASY” as claimed in the STAPLES advertising. This was in no way either an easy or a good experience.

Horrible experience!!!! This staples store is under staffed! There were six registers and only one cashier, how is this possible? the customer line was extremely long and I see only one cashier handling the situation. Also, when I needed help finding multiple items and had questions, I couldn’t find any employees downstairs. This place seriously needs to revamp their management!! The manager was not even in sight when I asked for a manager. I waited 10 minutes for the manager to come up then they never did not only was I upset I left the then left the store unhappy and didn’t purchase anything because I am 75 years old and I can barley see.

The staff is friendly the store is great but the location is horrible to access from wake forest road the light to get out turn left takes forever to change if you’re turning right going north on wake forest road you’re OK parking is horrible especially if your handicapped spaces are nowhere near the store. I hate to rate the store low because the staff is really great but when you can’t access the store easily due to traffic and you can’t access door easily do to accessibility issues I rated it it lower sorry.

By far the best Staples I have ever been to! I recently needed business cards printed. I put a front end back Jpeg image file on a USB stick and first headed to Office Depot. They wanted to charge $20 to out it in their website to create the 10 up format for the printer. I left and headed to this Staples location. I was greeted by the friendly staff who quickly got my order sorted for the cards. I placed the order at 6:15pm and at 7:35pm same day, the cards were ready for pickup. Incredibly speedy print center with staff that have a passion for what they do. Can't ask for anything more.

They took forever. I was there for 40 min just to fax one document. There equipment was updating or just plane malfunctioning. The people in the back saw the line backing up but did not come out to help.

I came into Staples to complete a rush print job. Alex, in the copy & print center took great care of me! He also skillfully handled several customers at once, making sure that each person got his full attention. Not only was the service great, the quality of work was excellent, too! I commented him to his supervisor.

I'm not sure what the deal is with the other reviews. I certainly have had some less than ideal experiences with any store in the region. As far as this one goes they've never disappointed me as much as most stores in the Charleston/Summerville area. On at least two occasions they've been head and shoulders above their competitors in both customer service and price. If you can't find it here for less chances are you won't find it anywhere in South Carolina at any price. The best example I have of that is inkjet printable dual layer DVDs. Decent brochure paper is probably another example. I could probably think of more, but that would just be boring. The bottom line is if these guys don't have it at a fare price your probably stuck looking on line. Welcome to South Carolina.

Wasted time. Called before going to location for specific items that I was assured were in stock. Arrived and employee directed to area where item was supposed to be in stock. No item available and associate acted as though he was too busy with another patron to even care. Please don't shop at this location. I will drive across town if necessary to avoid this Staples. Taking my business to Wal-Mart.
Don't use the printing service! I was in a pinch and need 10 color copies The bill was $32 for 10 color copies!! There is a $7 fee for ordering prints on the spot. The prices/fees are not clearly posted.

This is a kind of weird place to visit. Half of the store is empty, everything seems a little outdated, and the employees are helpful, but always seem a little surprised to see people inside. It does have most standard office supplies, so that's a plus, but I honestly wouldn't visit for much else.

I had to get a flyer printed last week. Alex at the print center was very helpful: he helped format the document, print them in different sizes, and cut them precisely. He also explained the paper types that would best fit my needs. Everything was done quickly and efficiently. It was a job well done!
This is a particularly bad location. The idea behind ordering something online and picking it up at the store should be to increase convenience, but every time we try to do that, they find some reason to refuse to release it to whoever we've sent to pick the item up and offer no way to resolve the situation. For us a business, this is a huge waste of our time. That's why we order almost everything we need on Amazon now.

-Not A Comfortable Shopping Experience- I normally get my online post card announcements and invites produced at this location, so I haven't done a lot of shopping in store. My husband and I recently went in to find a cash register for a business start up I am pursuing. After we were shown where they were, the guy who helped us turned to walk away, but then looked as though he wanted to turn back around and maybe stand there while we looked, but then left. We were very interested in the items on display, and began discussing which might be best to purchase. As we talked over the items' features listed, a worker came over and interrupted us with, "Do you need help finding something?" We both looked at her, and while I tried to find the most polite words possible, I analyzed the situation before I spoke. I explained the "obvious"..that we had found the item we were searching for, and asked if she could tell that we were content and weren't confused or searching. My husband and I continued discussing the cash registers after the girl left. We moved to another section to check out another item to compare features and pricing. Less that a minute later, I heard a faint voice but didn't even bother to look over at first. Then we realized someone ELSE was asking us if we needed help! And this guys even had his hands full! I understand if establishments may want to give their best to customers, but I would NOT approach a customer with "Can I help you FIND something" if they looked as though they seemed simply ecstatic over finding what they needed, and appeared to be making a decision! Well, unless I wanted to "customer service" them... Our complaint is not "good customer service," but more "borderline harassment." We spoke with a manager briefly about how we felt, but then decided to just leave.

This Staples is in a good location off Wake Forest Rd and I-440 beltline. It's easy to find and the times I have gone there I got what I wanted.

The store is understaffed because the work environment is SO TOXIC!! That's due to managment forcing already busy employees to push for insurance sales that they wont even make any commission from. I WOULD NEVER RECCOMEND ANYONE TO WORK OR SHOP AT STAPLES.

Today was the last time I patronize a Staples. Selection of product is usually okay, price is decent but you need to shop sales otherwise not worth it. Two issues for me today; 1) tall male employee was rude and thoughtless about yelling out if I needed help carrying my purchase out when I was almost out the door and clearly I had a good handle on what I was carrying, 2) the item I bought was used - packaging had no marking that it wasn't brand new. It was obviously a return and Staples didn't bother to clean it up. Had greasy fingerprints all over and clear evidence of being used. It was not properly put back in the box - all the wrapping and padding was gone. Not sure if I even want to deal with this store but if the unit breaks I will return it to another location. Felt the employees were just very bothersome and overbearing.
I went to use a computer and print. Very few internet cafes in the area so it was convenient but a little pricey.
I go to this store just now do drop off a pretty paid UPS package. We wait 20 minutes in line, and I ask the clerk if she had packaging tape and could put one strip across the package. Her response to me, sure that's 3.00 or you can buy tape behind you. Last time I ever go to a Staples. A true UPS store will never charge you 3.00 for one strip of packaging tape.

After dealing with kim earlier this year I started searching for an office depot or office max, lol. Seriously, if you're just going to be miserable and unhelpful, get a job in accounting, not customer service.
The associates were great with their service and making me feel special.
So I flew to staples in Concord, NH Fort Eddy Rd. to get my mobile printer replace before they closed. Showed up at 8:58... kid opened the doors then looked at the manager and said, "manager says we're closed!"...your kidding me right!?! NEVER...EVER will I set foot in that store again...told him what I needed and told him I was working all night!..."sorry, manager says we're closed"!....boooo!
I use their copy and fax machines on a regular basis. I love the fact that they are so easy to use and if I need help there is always someone to help me.
The shipping/copy center employees are very helpful and have the best customer service skills. If you need something copied or shipped , go see them .

The other day I took "Customer Satisfaction" training at work. Today I seen how Staples store on Route 37, Toms River, NJ is severely lacking, especially "manager" Mike Dunn AKA "THE PUNK" They refused to take a $10.00 coupon that says "Online Shopping". The store did at one time if a customer comes in and presented the coupon. Well he didn't and was nasty about it. Not only that but the store was $20.00 more (on sale) then their online price. This PUNK decided to argue with me. That I told him "Macy's is closing 100 stores, as empty as your store is I can see you being very unemployed eventually". Obviously this PUNK hasn't taken the same "Customer Satisfaction Training" I took. I took my business elsewhere. I seriously doubt I'll be back unless DESPERATE.

I've shopped at this Staples for 5 years now, and the staff consistently impress me with how courteous they are. I don't know how they do it, but they do it. Maybe they learned something from Chik-Fil-A. :-)

Had an issue with some chairs that I purchased but had lost my receipt. But they were very helpful and understanding and helped me get what I needed. Very pleased customer.
Expensive!! $ .25 notebooks but $10 binders. Expect to go in and grab notebooks only and leave. Pencils were $8 for a pack of 34. Regular no 2 pencils. Place was great and things were nice but it only makes you wish you had money.
I have NEVER written a bad review before in my life. I had the worst experience at this Staples in Concord and realized that I have to inform others. To my surprise, there are others that have had a bad experience with the same manager. This is almost comical how many people this rude manager (Kim) has offended. My advise is Staples fires her. Period. I'm sure there are many unemployed people that are willing to replace her.
I love that I am asked if I need help and if one of there machines (fax computer etc) takes my money I am refunded it back right away
So my friend Dan and I went to staples to find some cool paper and colored pens and pencils. Dan was was very overwhelmed with the vast selection of products. He almost crouched in a corner to regain his composer. All in all great selection good prices and the employees even will try to comfort you. Dan thanks you.

This is by far the worst Staples location. A simple 6 page print order was a huge ordeal, they clearly have no concept of customer service. It is 100% worth a further drive to go to a different location as I order at least $5000 worth of prints annually for my company an have never had an issue at the Sea Girt Location. After receiving online confirmation of same day pickup my order was not ready when I arrived, I asked if they could help me as I was told it would be ready after 1:30 pm and my order was only 6 pages. I was told NO that it would be done tomorrow that other orders were ahead of mine. . . BUT they could do it if I wanted to spend 30% higher. After declining I came back to pick up the following day and asked if I could please use their manual self cutter (which I have used many times in the past, it is usually left out in their print center along with a stapler and some paper clips for convenience) I was told it was "down" I asked how a manual could be broken and the guy told me. . . well we keep it behind the counter and if you want to use it you have to order your prints with cuts and pay for it. I am honestly outraged by the huge inconsistency from one store to another. I will for sure not be giving this location my business anymore.

My laptop died and I went back to get another one, They have a lot of them on display and there was one just like the one I had. They of course did not have it in stock. I had asked about a desk top but he did not even bother to check. One asked if I would like to purchase the model one, I said yes then the other one came back and said that I could not purchase the model. They should take the ones they are out of stock off the shelf or put a sign that says "out of stock". I could not afford the more expensive ones and really needed a computer. I ended up going to Best Buy and will continue to go there and get my things I need for my business.
They are a little pricy on certain thing but if you need it in rush it will do. Staff are pleasant at least. Other than check amazon if you don't need something right away

I have had nothing but good experiences ay the print and copy center. The employees are always kind, helpful, and get things done quickly. I had something printed there today and they helped me find the best deal, saving me about 15 dollars and cut my print out for me. I only waited about 5 minutes. So nice!!

The Staples Print & Copy Center located at 1318 N. Main St in Summerville SC offers some of the best customer service that I experience anywhere. Kenny and his team are ridiculously responsive to my (probably unreasonable) requests for help and constantly surprise me with the speed, quality, and personalization of their services.

Stay Away from their Copy Center! My experience at Staples started well enough. I called ahead to find a good time to come as my main reason for the visit was the copy center. I spoke with a perfectly friendly woman on the phone. She indicated that they were quite busy at the moment. I asked when would be a good time if I needed help enlarging an image. She said that they're usually slow in the evenings. Come after 7:00pm. She said it was a simple job and if I come after 7 they'd have it done tonight. You can see where this is going, but wait... I still haven't introduced you to the main character.. Jordan. So I get there right at 7pm. And from the front door, I glance across the store. I am the only customer. There are 4 Staples employees. I am the only customer. I walk up to the Copy Center and meet our main character, Jordan (with the face piercing). You can tell it's Jordan cuz he has this look in his eyes. He stares with the hatred of 1,000 angry teenagers. Like I'm wasting his time. Like it's taking him all the self-control in his being to simply acknowledge my presence at the counter. He finally drags himself like a mummified corpse to the counter to ask me what I want. I describe a job that will take 5 - 10 minutes to complete. He says he's too busy, can't get to it tonight. I look around the empty store for dramatic effect. He says they have an express option that takes one hour. He makes sure to point out that it takes the entire hour and that that's not an option for me tonight because he is too busy. Then he goes back to his corner and looks at his phone. I assume he has better things to be doing like designing a face tattoo to match his piercing... that will come in real handy in prison. (I don't mean any disrespect to people in prison. Most of you are not this rude). But this. This was a level of rudeness you only see in people who've already put in their 2 weeks. He really just wanted to watch the whole thing burn to the ground. But I don't know why because the other Staples employees seemed happy and helpful. I asked another where to find a wireless mouse, and he walked me straight there. And the guy on the register was cracking jokes. They seemed to like their job. Tldr: Half the experience was rude and frankly upsetting. The other half was helpful and friendly. The bottom line is AVOID the Copy Center. But if you have to purchase an item from the rest of the store, you'll be in good hands :)

I left a document to make a poster and I paid for my poster. The next day I came back to pick my poster up and the staff told me that I didn’t leave any document. Sooooo they asked me to send the document from a computer that I had to pay for!!!!!
I went in to have my phone screen fixed, and they were having a special for 50% off a new battery. I got the battery too, since my phone is a couple years old and I was noticing it drain faster than before. After 45 minutes, I got my phone back. Seemed fine, until I got home - my wifi and bluetooth were not working half as well as before. I would get 1-2 bars when right next to a router, and my headphones would cut out if I put my phone in my back pocket... I went back to ask for help, and they said "we only fix screens." So I went to UBreakIFix and they gave me a free diagnostic, saying that I needed my wifi antenna replaced but that Staples should be responsible for it. I went back to Staples to either get them to fix it or to pay for the fix since they "only fix screens," and lo and behold, it turns out they fix the rest of the phone too, but not on site. So I sent my phone out on a Wednesday, told it would be ready Monday or Tuesday. I came back Monday, ready to have a phone again after almost a week, and I get told that the new estimated delivery is Friday. I wait and call on Friday with a friend's phone, and I get a short response of "we emailed and called you." I had already told them I didn't have any other number, so they were calling the phone that was turned off in the box in their store, and I have literally no emails from Staples other than the review link from the original screen replacement. So I come into the city and get my phone, and the tech says that there was nothing wrong with the wifi and bluetooth, and it was the battery... which had been replaced a month ago with the screen... by Staples. There's no offer of a refund for wasting my time, or selling me a faulty battery to begin with, so I'm livid. On top of all that, as soon as I get home, I find that the wifi and bluetooth are still in terrible condition. I give up on this sorry excuse of a service, and order my own flex cable replacement kit for $7 on Amazon. After about an hour last night, I now have full bars of wifi and full range of bluetooth again. So thanks for literally nothing, Staples.
Only ever used this place for simple business print jobs, but they've been courteous and managed to get the job done.
All of the electronic devices in my office are from this Staples. For the last few months service has gone down tremendously. I walk into Staples and the staff looks busy, but not serving customers. they are always eager to tell you it will be cheaper to buy a new one. ugh. walking to Best Buy where the service is a little better. There was I guy there name CHAMP, what happen to him? I would always look for him.
Terrible customer service! I ordered to have some pages laminated for my business. I can to pick up the order and it was done wrong. The manager Eric refused to help me and insisted that it was my fault and that I have to pay for it. It was $6 and I would have paid but they made me feel terrible and that it was my fault, when in reality it was their associate that made a mistake. I have several other potential clients that I will recommended to another place now and will not set foot at that store ever again. Very disappointed.

Expensive!! $ .25 notebooks but $10 binders. Expect to go in and grab notebooks only and leave. Pencils were $8 for a pack of 34. Regular no 2 pencils. Place was great and things were nice but it only makes you wish you had money.
Went to get a print and performed all the instructions to a T. Printer didn’t print and even the personnel tried and couldn’t get it to work. So if trying to get something printed it may or may not work. Hopefully didn’t get charged cause they put a hold on cards for $5

I went to the this store on 8/7/2018 and was very disappointed with my service. I initially went to the store to purchase business cards and labels for my business. I did receive help from a nice young lady. After that it went down hill. The next associate was very lost and when he called for a manager he never came. The manager was checking out other customers at the time, but after he finished he looked over at me and never came to assist with my question. I will never return to this store. Disappointing because I like staples as a store and frequently purchase items for work and my business.

Spoken with several people that don't even know that this location is in the shopping center, which is surprising because the area get such heavy traffic. But it is a great sword to stop by if you are making a quick run for office supplies. The staff is very friendly, very knowledgeable, and even though it is a much smaller story than any other Staples in the triangle, if they don't have what you are looking for in stock at that location, they can place an order for you with free shipping on all in store purchases. They have a pretty good-size copy and print section, with plenty of self-serve machines. They have computers you can use, copiers, and fax machines. Their staff behind the counter can do posters, laminating, or pretty much anything else you need. I found this to be a great resource for pretty much any business need or any personal need to have that would fit what they carry. They also do cell phone and computer repairs, including replacing batteries for iPhones.
Absolute paranoid manager named Dave. As I entered the store and he was shouting at the other employees to mind the door, specifically one whose name he was shouting on the comm. system. I just went to get some ink for my printer and took it off the wall. The wall is situated next to a stack of bottles customers can buy in an open area near the checkout counter. So anyone can make an honest mistake...which is what I did. Dave started making a scene as if I was robbing the National Treasury. "YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED BACK HERE! ASK AN EMPLOYEE TO GET IT" as I apologised and went in line to pay for it.."NO! LEAVE THAT RIGHT HERE! YOU CAN'T TAKE THAT!" Wow..all that aggression for some Printer ink? I got in line asked the cashier to bring the ink and had to clarify to the cashier that I'm studying at NYU and obviously not here to steal ink. This is completely different from my experience of the store 5 days ago. The staff was warm, welcoming, helpful and respectful..I was even going to write about it. Unlike Dave here who acts like he is under a serious influence of deludamol. I now realise why people are switching to buying stuff online. It's a hassle free experience....and cheaper too. Would think at least twice before going to this store again.

I had something printed there today and they helped me find the best deal, saving me about 15 dollars and cut my print out for me. I only waited about 5 minutes. So nice!!
Submitted a print job online for same day pick up. Went to go pick it up and they had ran out of ink for their banner printer. Never called me to tell me. Sent the job out to another store, telling me it would only be 15 minutes...that turned into an hour plus. NEVER PRINTING HERE AGAIN.

This Staples used to be down on Six Forks Road, but moved to the Holly Park Shopping Center a few months ago. It seems like a smaller space, but I'm not sure. The check-out area is very tight and awkwardly set up if you have a shopping cart to maneuver through the area. I've been in a few times to pick up some items that I knew exactly what I wanted and was able to locate the items. Last week, I needed help which I received from a nice young fellow. Ultimately, the store didn't have the item that I had seen online and suited my needs. I was able to place an order for the online item with free shipping to my house. I would have been charged shipping if I had just ordered from home. I received the item in 3 days not next day or even two days as the staff person indicated.

The worst. Luis the guy at the printing and copy counter was so rude and has the worst attitude, I'm not even sure how he still has his job. I went yesterday to ask about how poster printing works, he tells me I have to do it online 4 hours before, did exactly what he told me to do (wasn't too nice). Went back the next day to pick up my order and the order was nowhere to be found, instead of trying to help me out, he told me he wasn't going to deal me with me or my order, which made no sense. Spoke to a supervisor who had a similar attitude, very unprofessional. Customer service? none. Your safer going to the FedEx copy on Astor place.

Just go to Best Buy you will have better costumer service and you won’t have to deal with “Captain Kirk” the worst store manager I’ve ever come in contact with, only willing to do the minimum. I just want to clarify that this is the staples in the shoprite plaza. I'm rating this from my experience with staples and their affiliation with being a "ups" store. It's basically false advertising and they don't provide the services that you would expect from a full service ups store. First off I went in thinking wow this is so convenient having a ups store inside the staples which is way closer than the real ups store across town. I went in to try to scan a qr code from Amazon and they couldn't do that so I ended up not being to ship my package that day because I already started the return process with Amazon. I then tried to ship another item that I preprinted the return label for. The box that I chose had a big sign that said 69¢ so I was like well that's super reasonable for a box so I had it packed ($1 for tape) still ok since the post office makes you buy a whole roll of tape. When I was being rung up apparently it was 69¢ only if you buy 3 or more boxes. I ended up just leaving with all my stuff and wasting my time there. I would never go there again thinking I was going to do any kind of ups shipping. I usually never comment about demeanor of associates because that's so subjective, but the manager behind the office desk was just plain unpleasant. I can see why they have such a low rating on Yelp and google. It's sad that the majority of their customers are seniors that are getting bamboozled

Insufficient floor staff. Difficulty navigating aisles resulting from equipment, boxes, and sales bins randomly occupying trafficked areas. The temperature in the store was sweltering and impractical. I couldn't wait to get out of there. You will find some bargains if you have the time and patience to look. Mostly things are overpriced. I will only shop here again if absolutely necessary. Amazon is truly the better deal.

Had a sound issue with my computer and after several days of frustration, I brought it to my local Staples. "Sarah" was my Tech Sales Associate. I was greeted with a big smile and comforting "let me see how I can help you" and did she ever. Problem explained and solved & NO CHARGE. I asked advice about my computer and a possible upgrade. Sarah took me on a tour, advised me on what she felt would be the most viable choice for my upgrade. I could not have asked for more from this lovely young woman. Good job hiring Sarah!!! I will make that purchase...but not without my new friend, Sarah's help.

I had a bad experience, the staff is helpful but when it comes to getting things done they fall short. I was looking to get a design for a brochure for my new business, staples said they had not only printing services but design as well so I left it in their hands. They said it would take 24hr, it took 3 days! and all they did was put a solid color on the entire page wrote what I had left written all in one paragraph and align the pictures! I could have done that in 10 min. When I got there the lady said she tried to contact me, so they printed 25 of this ugly things without me approving of their "design" and charge me a dollar for each!

My sister and I visited the store today because we received a $10 off coupon, I bought an Apple adapter -- which I discovered was not part of the deal because it's an Apple product. I don't mind that part, it's my fault that I got that item and once I read the coupon, it stated it excludes Apple products. What I had an issue with, it the lady who rung me up didn't tell me what the issue was until we asked and still tried to hand us the item without saying how there was an issue. Service was not good, I am a customer. She didn't even greet us with a smile. When the manager came over, I think his name was Garlin (male) -- not sure how to spell his name, when he tried to fix the issue, he didn't even care to tell us either. Didn't even say anything to us at all. Both performed poor customer service, need to work on professionalism or not work with people. As a manager, people expect high quality professionals -- which we did not receive in the store today.

This store used to be three times bigger and they had a great store manager. This place has all of the signs of being on a last leg. They stock Tampons now but they don't have anyone to pick up the telephone calls. Calling there now is like calling the Registry of Motor Vehicles... totally useless. The only good thing is the Copy and Print. If it wasn't for them I would dump Staples for mail order.

I purchased the HP 902XL cartridge at this store. Inside the 902XL box, 920XL was inside. The store would not exchange it to the correct item and told me I would have to contact HP myself. I purchased the item at this store and they should be responsible for the items they sell, rather than telling me to take care of their mistakes.

Do not get phone screens repaired here! I came in with my iPhone 6s that had a cracked screen. The tech and I both signed a checklist to confirm nothing else was wrong with my phone. The tech told me the repair would only take an hour. I left the phone with him and came back 1.5 hours later, the tech hadn't even taken the screen off yet. I waited there with my kids for another hour. I got the phone back with a new screen, $150 later. When I was almost home I realized I couldn't turn up the brightness on the phone. I called Staples and was told to bring it in to check it out. I drove back to Staples for the third time. I was offered a different screen that did not even match my phone. When he put the new screen on, he asked me to come to the counter to see if the brightness worked. It still did not work. I also noticed he had the phone plugged in while taking the phone apart. Unloading the backlight circuit while under power will damage the logic board causing brightness levels to not work. Staples ruined my phone, which I use for work daily not to mention for my kids' safety. Upon talking to Michael, the supervisor on duty, I was very disappointed with the way Staples trains their employees to treat customers. Michael was very condescending and rude. He smiled with his 1 front tooth while telling me this was all my fault, that it was "probably like this when the screen cracked", even though the tech, Eric, confirmed the brightness and everything else was indeed working when I brought it in. When I told him I didn't appreciate his behavior he continued to be rude and didn't like it when I began recording his arrogance. Will be back with my husband tomorrow to talk with the store manager.

Went to get a displayport cord for a new computer. They had one. Their website showed more. The one they had was $35. Amazon and Walmart had them online for about 1/3 of that amount or less. Staff was nice though. One new guy and a manager. I wish I'd remembered that the construction was going on. I would have gone elsewhere or ordered it online and saved the gas and frustration.

I am absolutely amazed with this locations associate's at the copy and print center. I went in to have 2 calendars made. (photo calendars) Of course this was my very first time having one made, and was afraid I would completely mess it up, or that I wouldn't have the help needed. The young lady that helped me name is India. Very professional and knew exactly what she was doing. She not only did everything correct but the way she knows the ins and outs of her position is extremely incredible. I'm not sure what her exact position is, but as she was helping me, she was helping 3 to 4 other people and she never missed a beat. She never got frustrated, she kept that beautiful smile on her face and did her job. This place was very busy as it is a couple days before Christmas, and she has people in and out with her efficient service. I'm not sure if people realize how much a person like India has helped so many people during this stressful time of year, but I hope she is recognized for her hard work and great personality. Merry Christmas to you India keep up the good work. You definitely deserve a raise.

I've always had good service here and been able to find everything I need. For some reason I always need more yellow sticky notes...anyhow, this is a good place. I used their printing services a few times as well and was pleased with the results.
There were 4 fax machines and only 1 of them worked correctly.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This is the second time I have been here, and experienced bad service both times. I wont be back. You have to hunt people down to get them to help you. One associate I noticed asked all the other customers for help....except for me! One associate with long, brown hair is forever trying to dodge customers. She will see you, and rush off in the opposite direction. If you do get her to help, she will rush you to the item you want, point to it, and run away so you cant ask her anything else. This one woman (I think she is a manager she wears a grey shirt) will walk straight by without an acknowledgment. They all prefer to talk and gossip amongst themselves than to work. Save yourself some time and go to another Staples.

Pues cuando termine mi carta que queria imptimirla se genero un problema, no se porque no queria imprimir, llame una empleada, miy amable ella, intento pero no pudo, luego llamó a otra joven y tampoco, y como ustedes podran entender el tiempo de la compitadora seguia corriendo y el balance iba aumentando. Cuando por fin lo pudieron imprimir me aplicaron un descueto del 50% de mi consumo total. No tuve que discutir esa parte, elloa son consciente. Eso me gustó

I used the copy center ALL the time. Literally. In the last 3 years they've done a very good job of getting things to me on tome. Occasionally directions will be misread, but they are able to make corrections (which shows great service despite subtle inconvenience). The girls behind the copy center desk are always very nice as well.
Seems smaller and use to be on 6 forks. Service is better and stock is solid. Shorted way here from N. Raleigh is 6 forks to 440 the rt on Wake Forest rd.
That store has a UPS branch. If you want to drop a package. They asked $2 for use their tape !

Terrible customer service. I went into the store and one of the tech employees approached me kindly asking if I needed guidance in purchasing a laptop. His attitude changed when I told him I wanted to use these gift cards in store because they didn’t work online. I told them I called Staples customer service and they told me the gift cards should work in store. He was so rude and gave me an attitude saying that if it doesn’t work online, it doesn’t work in store. This is not true because I just spoke with customer relations and I can make a purchase using these gift cards in store even though the gift cards were not working online due to some system conflict. Never going back there again.
Internet was down and all the computers weren't working. With that being said I was still able to accomplish what I needed. The employee directed me to another employee who was able to do what I needed.
Waiting more than half an hour to print a passport photo and they told me they cannot print it. Damn! Don’t come here to waste your time.

The exit is oddly placed, and this store has no Kodak ink. There's a lot of stuff here, but it's not very amazing. It's exactly what it is, an office supply store. Overall it's good though, especially if you need something more generic.

The manager and other employees are always very quick to help and offer assistance. It's fun to shop for clearance items in-store.
They don't answer the phone. Listened to music for five minutes and then was finally transferred to copy department that never picked up the phone. They finally just disconnected me. They lost a huge print job - I'll never try them again.

I wouldn't usually do this, but I had such an amazing customer service experience today at the Staples in State College I feel it is only right to share it. I needed to replace my laptop charger because I was missing a component. I first went to another store because they had advertised having the exact charger I needed, which naturally they didn't have in stock. They only had these more expensive universal chargers. In despair, I went to the Staples next door to compare prices. Immediately, I was greeted by an employee who helped me assess the problem and provided me great insight about my different options. He even offered to order the exact model to be delivered in two days rather than buy a universal charger. Even in our limited interaction, I felt the employee was so knowledgeable and genuinely interested in solving my problem rather than simply selling me the most expensive product. I left with a restored faith as a consumer, and will be sure to recommend Staples to everyone I can. Staples is definitely good people.

I was extremely happy and satisfied with the undivided attention and the printing product I received from this store. Mei the manager at the copy & Print Center along with Sadie took charge of my request and they both knew exactly what to do and how to handle it. They are not able to process Amazon returns. Long wait times. Feel like you walk into a store designed in 1970. Copy and Print Staff just standing around while Shipping lines grow.

Hardly had anything in stock. Was told I would need to look online for almost everything. Went to Amazon and bought everything there instead except for the chair I needed. Nobody knew where anything was and had to find a manager to get help finding stuff but they were all very nice.
Went in to print some forms from the internet. Easy process, fair price and no waiting for a computer station.

Employees are very unprofessional. I was ignored at the copy center by two employees and then was charged the incorrect amount at the register. I also ordered supplies that were out of stock at the store. After confirming my address, Staples sent it to the wrong place. I was never notified there was a problem with shipping and I had to go through multiple levels of managers and departments to even find what had happened to my package.
There is UPS dropbox inside Staples so if you have something to send through UPS use staples if you are nearby

I run a full time business from home. This Staples is where I do all of my office work. I went in to print around $30 worth of packets. The printer kept malfunctioning and I had been waiting for about 45 mins for a job that usually takes under 10. A Copy N Print employee told me that since I had already paid, he would save my copies once the printer is back up and running. He told me to come back anytime to pick them up. Today I went in and not only were the $30 of copies not there. But all 4 of the employees were joking around and showing no interest in helping me, hearing the situation or coming up with a solution. I asked if I wasted an hour and $30 for nothing and she just smiled and shrugged her shoulders saying sorry. Absolutely the worst customer service. I have spent a lot of money over the last few years running my business office out of this location. I am 100% not going back.

Go to the UPS store on Hamilton Road if you need to copy and print! I needed to print about 280 calibration stickers for scientific/industrial use. I brought with me special label paper with me that I had imported from Europe for this project. This paper is designed to work with any generic office copy machine. The Staples manager explained to me that Staples is FORBIDDEN from using non-Xerox branded paper in ANY of their equipment due to their contract with Xerox! Even though Staples could of EASILY helped me with the equipment they have, Staples turned me away because I didn't have Xerox branded paper. Xerox didn't sell label/sticker paper in the specific size I needed. Staples puts Xerox's best interest BEFORE their customer's best interest. A sale is a sale, who cares where the paper comes from?

Good store A warning for anyone buying cheap displayport cables and even some more expensive ones not just at at staples. i have found out after a few hours of troubleshooting and swearing to myself that the displayport cable i had just bought from here was backfeeding power from my monitor into my gpu. I noticed this when i shut down my desktop it would not reboot. The lights on my motherboard would remain on after shutdown and would stay on after unplugging the entire pc itself only turning off when i unplugged my monitor. This was not an issue with the original displayport cable that came with my monitor so i know its the one i just bought. From what i can gather there is an issue with some cables having a pin that feeds power back into the pc. There is a chance that it can also cause damage to the gpu and even the motherboard itself. If you are thinking of buying a displayport cable from anywhere i highly reccomended you do research prior and make sure it doesnt have the same issue i had.
Convenient if you need to sent a fax, take a photo copy of documents. They have a really neat system, you email them the documents and you will get a code that then you enter on the printer and finds and prints your documents. Very simple, very easy to use. Staff is very friendly as well. Large parking, always easy to park.
I had a great experience my first time printing at the Toms River Staples. Chrissy was amazing! She was patient and made sure all our questions were answered. My paper got stuck in the printer several times but she kept trying until it worked, with a smile on her face the entire time. Very glad I chose to print my wedding invitations here.
Shopping for a new shredder. Had exactly what we needed at a good price.
Needed a short cat-5 cable and the prices were outrageous! Checked out the clearance area and nothing was really at a "clearance" price. I'll order at Amazon or go to BestBuy if I need it ASAP. Only good to see a product up close then order it elsewhere. This store and Staples in general have gone nowhere but down.

Most items can be found locally, and definitely online, at slightly lower prices. At a chain, such as Staples, the staff can make the difference. Staff here is excellent, very courteous and helpful.

Terrible attitude of Manager in Duty. Employees are NOT trained. Came in to get copies. Doing this for years. I had only cash on me to pay, so I couldn't use self service. Two employees with customer for over 20 minutes, two customers waiting....you would think that Assist Manager would of went and printed my two copies, but no. He said I would have to wait....I was a little upset, as I use them at emergencies, like when I'm on location and don't have printer....its sad, that I have to now drive across town to other Staples...disheartening Customer Service in NW Reno, NV...
Mei helped me in the copy center two separate times. She is AMAZING! I was a handful with my last minute printing needs and she went above and beyond both times. Because of her, this Staples has a customer for life. THANK YOU, MEI! You rock!

Beware - you're car will be towed if you inadvertently park in this mall too long. Since Staples won't stop the unreasonable towing, best to to patronize another location.

Went to this location on a Monday at 7:30pm to buy a laptop on display at a good price. Couldn't find a salesperson anywhere, so I went to a cashier to ask for assistance. When help eventually arrived, I asked the lady if the price was for a new unit in an unopened box. She said yes, and I said I'd take one. If only it were that simple! She then told me she would check the stockroom. Naturally, they were out of stock. She told me I could go to the Brick or Manahawkin store or she could order one. I opted to order it. We walked to the big order screen and she keyed in the SKU. Item unavailable! I asked her to check to see if the two other stores had one. Nope! Closest store with that model in Shrewsbury. It's easy to have good prices on merchandise you don't actually have. I think they call "bait and switch," right?

Worst experience with their laminations. They ruined all of my posters! Brand new posters that I thought I was going to protect by getting them laminated looked like a heat gun had gotten to them went staples returned them for me. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!! The only thing they offered me was to pay for all the laminations. Ya you better because I wasn't going to pay for any of them! But the pictures were all ruined. Never ever going back to staples. Made an enemy for life! If they had just compensated me for the posters then I would have said well tough luck, but they just ruined my artwork and said sorry and walked away from the situation with the free laminations only costing them labor I'm sure.

Staff were helpful most of the time. However once I paid for same day printing and went to pick it up next day morning. The printing guy gave me the usually excuse of how the printer was broken the day before and proceeded to print it out and trim it within half an hour. I've seen the same thing happening to another customer when they told her her order wasn't showing up on their system and made that customer wait for an hour for something she paid to be printed the day before. Either their system is incredibly unreliable or their printing department love to leave the work for the next day.

I guess I'll order ink online from B&H Photo, I'll just have to order extra to get free shipping

Place is basically a circle of hell. At least one of the printers always broken, lines of customers that seem to never end, etc. Upside is employees. When they are available they are accommodating and friendly. Today Misandra (I hope I’m spelling her name right) helped me print everything I needed ASAP, all while dealing with two or three other customers. Big thank you to her.

Love the easy printing access, for small amounts. Send email or attachments to Staples@ go to the machine, follow instructions, and print. LOVE IT. no extra fees, no waiting for assistance (unless you get stuck). Great for those with no printer at home, or just can't drive all the way back home during errands.

I showed up 15 minutes prior to the posted closing time both online and on the door of the business but they were closed. The employees inside completely ignored my presence.
The staff here is absolutely lacking in customer service! It's better and probably quicker to order online or find another office store.
2 of the associates stopped what they were doing to assist us. Yes it was their job but it was closing time and they helped with a smile.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Saw some great deals too. Not everything is priced as low as comparable items at big department stores but that's not why you shop there and, like I said, there are great deal there also.

It gives me a lot of pleasure to write a nice review about good customer service as I experienced at Staples on Wake Forest Rd, Raleigh, NC. Mark, a Tech Sales Associate, greeted me when I walked in with my cell phone asking if he could show me what was wrong with the charger. He said they didn't fix phones at Staples but he would be glad to take a look. He got a magnifying glass and a flashlight and looked in that tiny hole and discovered there was a piece bent thus the reason the charger would not hold. He was afraid to mess with it for fear he might do more damage so he suggested going to a phone repair store. I had no idea who would be open on Sunday so without hesitation, he googles stores open on Sunday that fix phones. Low and behold, he found one at Crabtree Mall called I Fix I Repair. He even located it on the lower level near Macys. I had just had back surgery and was walking with a walker and he was so accommodating probably just because he's a nice guy and knows great customer service. Thanks, Mark, for helping. The guys in the store fixed my phone and I bought a battery and USB charger so I would never have to use the charger again. Great customer service. You should be proud of your employees. Laura

Made a decision on a chair and manager Mike Pucci handled the transaction perfectly, from beginning to end. Great service and product knowledge on his part, including a warranty that I would not normally buy. Mike presented the value of the warranty well enough to cause me to pull the trigger on it. Have 5+ employees standing around doing nothing, but somehow they aren't qualified to find a piece of paper with my name on it and check me out. Such an awesome business these guys run. You'd think their a government agency with the amount of time you waste every time you stop in.

Today, I shopped at Staples in Summerville, South Carolina to purchase a Rubbermaid Air freshener that I had seen at a Chick Fil A restaurant. I could not find one so made some other purchases and after I had exited the store a male employee was out front, so I asked him if they had the air freshener. He seemed to be some type of manager. He flared up at me and said we have more than 4000 items in this store and I really don't know if we have the air freshener you saw online. He hurt my feelings so badly, I told him I was so sorry that I had bothered him with my question. I got in my car and left and he did not say another word. I just thought you should know. He was dark headed and around 50 years old and average size. It was 11:37 am.
The staff at this location especially in the print and copy center are the best. I can't speak highly enough of each employee, from Mike the AGM to all the staff - great prices, great location and the customer service is great. I have been a dedicated customer of Staples for years, and each time it get's better and better. Kudos the management and staff at this location.

Managers seemed very nice at first and helpful but it seemed like they had nothing to do and eventually became very annoying. Treated me and a friend like we were kids and often told us to go straight to the cashier when we weren’t done shopping. Cashier was nice and helpful, sufficient and quick. There are two managers who seem like they have nothing to do at all.

Went to print out business cards and labels. Had excellent service from the young lady at the printing area. She went above and beyond to help. She had to leave work and the next gentlemen at the area took over but did not understand much of anything. Cool..he called for his manager whom stated he was coming after ringing up current customer. We waited 10 mins which was pretty long but understandable since he was with his same customer. The guy called manager again and stated dont forget about me...mgt then looks at us and takes the next customer versus coming to help us. Even when walking out mgr did not acknowledge us or apologize. Not only did this store lose my sale that was going to be over $1000 but I will never put anymore money into staples. Seriously an upset former customer.
