I went specifically for a CD player as mine broke in my unit. Told the guy wanted a CD player just something basic to listen to. Nope, had to get a CD changer that hooks into receiver. Bought it, took it home, installed, nope, no sound. Took it back & finally got a small CD boombox which is what I actually had come for to begin with. Annoying and frustrating but finally got what I wanted & it works great. Everyone friendly so gave it 3 stars.

Personally, I don't enjoy wandering around trying to find the thing I am shopping for. Two associates asked me what I was looking for, the first at entry and he pointed me to the spot where I needed to be. The second, on arrival at spot--and he helped me through the process of selection, offering more options than expected, all the way to completion of purchase! I ordered Digital karaoke Mixer on 03/22/2019. I used my best buy card on the store. A sales lady ordered online and I get receipt. digital karaoke will be delivered at my residence on April 3, 2019. I have been waiting to long I did not get my stuff then I went to Best buy in pick up area. tell them my problem. the guy look at his computer and saw that the order was twice. One is delivered at home and another is pick up in store. I was surprised to get that information. I request him to cancel one order. He cancelled it and tell me you will get your stuff on 04/03/2019. I did not get it. I went to best buy today to talk to them. Now they are telling me your ordered is canceled. What kind of service is that ? nobody responsible what they did to me. I was waiting almost 15 days to get my stuff and at the end nothing. really poor service. Good luck for the management

Wow I am so disappointed in Brst Buy, yet again. I ordered an item that was out of stock. The salesman said no problem it can ship to you in a few days. I ordered the item and 10 minutes away from the store I realized it had my old address, so I called 20 minutes after I bought the item. Nope nobody can help me. They can’t refund my order nor can they change the shipping address. In 20 minutes you have to be kidding me!!! So now my item will ship to my old address 1500 miles away, where I will not receive it. Thanks so much Best Buy. Corporate nonsense at its best.

Went looking for a new laptop and had associate help me out a couple questions and got the product that I needed.

I just visited the store at 8 p.m. on a Tuesday evening and there were less than a 10 customers in the store and numerous employees restocking but no one willing to wait on me and help. All I needed was a simple CPU fan for a mining rig and even though I had all the specs I still ended up buying the wrong item because of the incompetence of the so-called Geek Squad. Even after asking three separate employees I still couldn't get what I needed and it took a ridiculous amount of time given that the store wasn't busy. And when I went to check out the cashier was more interested in making sure that customers weren't stealing then he was on checking me out. A very typical bad customer service/incompetent New Mexicant experience. When I went to return the item I was told it would take 3 days for my money to be credited to my account. Best Buy holds your money hostage so they can make interest on it just like the banking system does. The refund should have been credited instantaneously because that's how money works these days. I noticed when I purchased the item no one said it would take three or four days for it to show up out of my banking account. It was taken immediately. I will never shop here again. This corporation is criminal.

They need to have employees who will actually help. I stood in front of the cell phones for 10 minutes and about three employees with blue shirts who didn't even bother to ask me if I needed help. Which I truly did.

Shopped for bundle of kitchen appliances. Most informed staff who were pleasure to deal with. Selection extensive. Purchase incentives. One stop shopping for purchase,delivery,install(fgas range), and Removal. Computer systems a bit clumsy which made checkout "clunky" but very satisfied with purchase and experience. Now we'll see how delivery and install go.

Bought a new laptop with in store pick up. Got a text it was ready so I went over. Turned out the store didn’t open for 20 minutes. Once it opened I went to the pick up desk and the laptop wasn’t there. The girl rudely told me it would be brought up. No sorry to keep you waiting or any nicety. While I waited I noticed a sign asking for feedback. I approached two managers/shift leaders standing between the doors and politely asked if I could make a suggestion. I said the Best Buy should add “Please check store hours” to the texts they send, adding that I know it wasn’t a local issue but at a corporate level, could they please pass it along. They both glared at me and literally said nothing, like I was speaking a foreign language. I finally got the laptop and left. Very poor experience dealing with all the people that worked at Best Buy. Definitely an institutional problem at that store. As I walked to my car I decided that would be the last time I ever walked into Portsmouth NH Best Buy. With Amazon being so convenient the brick and mortar stores really need to raise the customer service bar, this store doesn’t get that at all.

Came here to buy a backup camera for my car. Someone from geek squad ordered the parts for me. Had to go another day once they got the parts and was told that whomever placed the order, did not order the correct parts. Went again and finally got the camera installed but I had to go to another store to get the parts needed. I have the one year of total tech support so when my camera stopped working, I contacted customer service and was told I can come in to get it fixed without an appointment. I walked in and was told that I needed an appointment. They did take me and fixed it but the following day, I had an accident and needed it fixed again. I made an appointment and when I came in for it, I was told I needed to replace the camera and that it was not in stock. I was told to make another appointment when they have it but I saw that the store had it in stock. It took associates in the store an hour and 30 mins to find it but when I went back to geek squad, I was told the appointment was over with and they were fully booked. They gave me a hard time about it and told me to leave my car so they can work on it when they can. Later the day, they fixed it but I was not told that the camera did not work the same. At least it's fixed right? The next day, the bluetooth and stereo stop working completely. I'm not sure why this stopped working but I won't be coming to this store to figure it out. It's been such a long few weeks with them and I know I had issues come up but the geek squad and store associates were not helpful or friendly throughout this process. I was patient when they got the wrong parts and I went to get the parts myself. I had an accident and wanted to get it fixed. I'm not sure where I went wrong in asking for help. I kept getting attitude instead of help so I will not return to his store again.

Victor was knowledgeable about all the laptops; was patient and answered all my questions; and not pushy like most sales reps. I just went to Best Buy this evening to pick up my items and the pick-up servicer was terrible, he is about high school student, maybe he had a bad day, first I came in he looked at us with a boring look then he declined to scan my bill to check out and declined to released the items to us just because my brother name was the one odered it not us but he had the same last name with us and on the bill there was my mother bank account’s name that paid for it and she had her bank account card and her ID out. I didnt know what happened and also he declined us to see their manager. I felt so rude. Then we had to go found other worker to help us. I appreciated that worker to help us out and brought the item out for us. He is a saler but he was friendly and very ready to help us not like the other pick-up servicer boy. So thank you for that. The best deal in town if your planning a stereo install in your vehicles. The 200 dollar geek support contract has already saved me hundeds my truck was totaly upgraded with new stereo and speakers. My wifes car goes in Friday for a remote start with no labor charge. Our computer is going in next week for a service no labor charge. All is included with the 200 dollar Geek Contract. Ok, it's Best Buy, but they've been doing better lately. It's nice to get some products NOW, and they price matched everything I wanted lately, if they had it. Recently had been looking for a specific smartwatch, a silver Fossil 4th Gen, it's been almost impossible to find one in stock locally. In preparation for my honeymoon (wanted to load music onto the internal storage while at the beach and not have my phone on me 24/7) this coming weekend I started going to every nearby store that carries smartwatches to see if anyone had something comparable in stock. From Portland, to Salem, I spent the last 2 weeks looking all over for something that fit my needs. Finally I decided to try the Newington Best Buy location, even though it said they did not have any Fossil smart watches in stock. I looked around and was shocked to find one, and just one brand new silver Fossil watch unopened in the display case. I asked an associate if I could purchase it and he was nice enough to set it aside at the register while I went to check out some Bluetooth headphones to pair with the watch. He set it aside at the checkout island by the smart phones. I was gone maybe.. 3 minutes, snd came back to check out. Standing in front of the checkout were 3 associates, having a conversation about something, totally oblivious of my intent to finalize my purchase. One of them had opened the box with the smartwatch I had hunted all over for and was messing around with it. I stood there for a good 5 minutes before a 4th associate finally walked up and recognized I was looking to checkout. The 3 then turned around and realized I was just standing there watching the associate who had, for whatever reason, broken the seal on the watch and decided to play with it, and she hurried to put the watch back in the packaging. I just walked out the door at that point from combination of being totally ignored and defeat that I was about to spend almost $300 on a smartwatch that was just moments ago unopened, new and essentially now an openbox item covered in fingerprints and that I felt robbed of the experience of getting to open for the first time. The latter my seem like a silly thing to get upset about, but if I wanted a molested smartwatch I could've picked from any of the dozens for sale used locally on Facebook or Craigslist, trust me there's a ton out there that have barely been worn and have everything still included. It's a shame, I was really looking forward to finally getting myself that smartwatch, but some people just don't want you to have nice things in life.

The whole experience was GREAT!!! The Customer service was exactly what customer service should be. Best buy let us take the time to decide what we were interested in and then provided feedback to make sure we were making the right decision. Saved us $1K by taking their advice after our purchase of a 4K TV, LG fridge ,Gaming PC, and upgrading our Cell phone service. With making multiple purchased like this, they were very patient with everything being in opposite ends of the store.

I went to Best Buy for The Geek Squad. My technician was very helpful and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem and told me that I needed a new charger. Unfortunately I have a Dell laptop and you have to order directly from Dell as they won't sell assessory parts to stores for resale...only computer parts that The Geek Squad can use inrepair. I originally went to The Geek Squad because Dell was such a headache to deal with over the phone or online. The Geek Squad I consulted is located inside Best Buy. I have bought Dell computers for many years, but this is the last one I'm purchasing. From now on I'm going to try Hewlett-Packard and buy it at Best Buy. They have a nice selection of laptops in a variety of price ranges and a trip there to consult The Geek Squad takes less time than hassling on the phone with Dell.

Sucks! Ordered in person, tried to cancel from the app, and over the phone, no luck. Got a free advise that I should come to store to cancel. This is besides the auto cancel policy in place when the ordered item is not picked in 5 days. It was more than two weeks then!! The staff doesn't answer the question why the item is waiting in the pick up area and insisted to cancel in person. They're not sure and mentioned that their phones are answered by only one person and busy!! Busy for 2weeks and not answering except answering service. Also, there is no call back from the stores and waited for a week!! I don't wonder why this store with visible lots of employees became window shopping and people other stores and ways for actual purchases.

When you just can't wait the two days for that online mega retailer's shipment. But admittedly on occasion, it's also nice to touch it and read and shake the box before plunking down cash; especially since you're also likely paying more for that broad spectrum sensory engagement. Best Buy continues to be Best Buy. Nice people work there. Help them keep their jobs. Unless you have one of those online mega retailer distribution centers nearby. Those folks need jobs too. And I hear the pay and benefits are better over there.

Employees, employees everywhere but not a one to help. I went in the perfect Customer: I knew what I wanted, I wanted to spend money, I just needed someone to open cases for me. FYI the list was: Galaxy Active Watch, Nokia 3310, 400gb+ Micro SD card and the Gear buds. The greeters ignored me. The people in the sections ignored me, preferring to converse amongst themselves. I even made eye contact with a few. Nope. So. After 10 minutes of wanting to give people money, I gave up being ignored. So. Amazon it is. Whoever manages this location needs to do a better job on their staff customer service.

So I went in the store looking for a phone that I already had in mind. Did all my research and on I went expecting this transaction to be as smooth as a butter on a warm toast. But man did that quickly go wrong. So I knew exactly where to go and saw that the two floor representatives were busy, one with another customer and another handling a screen protector installation. No biggie but I made myself known by asking when the person with the protector is finished to please see me for assistance. Now I want to clarify, the POS system, where he was doing his install, and the phones where I was standing and waiting, is about 10 feet away. He completely forgot about me, though I'm visibly standing in plain site. Now four representatives, I know made eye contact with me, INCLUDING the person I talked to and simply talked with another colleague. Now I'm bothered. I gave him a chance to see me again but a good 8 minutes pass and nothing. So I went to the person again and he verbally stated "OH, I forgot about you". I wanted to get out already so I told him what I wanted, scanned a code to check if it's in inventory and said no. So out I went but this doesn't end here unfortunately. I checked the phone again online, verified it was in stock AND called to confirm that there was in fact just one left. I went back later to not run into the same person but alas no luck. I simply said I checked and it said it was in stock and to verify. "Magically" it was there. But THIS STILL doesn't stop. The price documented was mismatched and I brought it to thier attention and was honored the lower rate. So, am I displeased? Yeah, no question about it. It's not a one star only because of honoring the price differential. Next time I'm doing a online order but know that attention is needed at the store. Just also wanted to point out that this was not during rush hour. I'm talking about 1pm on a Tuesday when barely anyone else was around. Hope this puts things into perspective for everyone.

The place isn’t the biggest Best Buy but it one of the best in my area, in my opinion because the staff are always walking around asking if you need help and when ever you ask them they actually know what they are talking about and if they don’t they try to find someone who does, also I came in one time to buy a tv but they were closing and they let me in because I knew what I was buying and I appreciated that a lot.

The staff at the Portsmouth, NH store were great but I can't say the same for your computer network for paying for item located at another store. I couldn't pay for an open box item located at another store using my Best Buy card. I had to purchase gift cards and then attempt to purchase the item on line using the gift cards. Your system was not in my opinion user friendly and I finally drove to the store where the item was located to make the purchase. The four star rating is for your staff.

Customer service at location is the worst. Went yesterday to buy my son a PS4 Pro system and saw they had an open box one on sale for $350. It was supposed to come with the controller and all the wires/cables. Upon opening the box at the store we realized it had no controller or any of the cables. I asked if they could discount the system accordingly since it was false advertising on their part. They offered me a $30 discount. However the controller alone costs $60 and a set of cables cost $30. So for $420 Best Buy wanted to sell me a USED PS4 PRO SYSTEM. I went to Target and bought a brand new one with Red Dead Redemption 2 for $399.99. The Geek Squad sucks. Avoid this store like the plague.

It had what I needed, one staff saw my son and I and saw us walking toward him and he turned around and walked away, maybe he was having a bad day, others guided us to other staff that could help. It seemed as though a couple of their youngest staff could learn more about the products their store and for one, proper ways to work with customer. Others were very helpful and I was shown a better choice for speakers for my computer which saved me almost $200. Therefore, I was happy with the end result.

Geek Squad warranty is....super slow. I bought a DSLR and paid the extra 25% to get as much coverage as possible. It sounded great and probably will be if i ever accidentally damage the camera. In the meantime, any mechanical defect or issue can take literally months to resolve. I'm going to get directly with Nikon, since that's what the Geek Squad said they would do after 4 weeks if they couldn't fix it. I gave one extra star since they were nice. The extra coverage i bought isn't helping me much for a technical issue for a two month old camera.

This store that I visited had all the basic things but was lacking in variety/options. I couldn't find games for our game system because they were only stocking the newest consoles' games and accessories. Phone accessories tended to only be for iPhone and Galaxy with a very limited supply of any other phone brands. Oh but if you need a large appliance (like refrigerators or washers/dryers) they had a pretty good variety of those covering a good fourth of the store.

I will say this this store definitely has a lot to offer and I'm talking about this particular location for the simple fact that the customer service reps are very very knowledgeable helpful all around these people are well-trained and very great people it boils down to the point if you have a dollar amount that you know you're going to spend because of how well trained and helpful these special service reps are you will easily spend three times that amount and that says a lot overall amazing experience.

Customer service is great, I was looking for a laptop, and the employees came to help. One of the employees were honest and told my dad that we should get a 1 year accidental damage warranty because companies sometimes have defective products and they can easily blame the damage on you. And I agree with that since my sister’s laptop from hp stopped working after 2-3 weeks, so it was defective. There are also a lot of products in the store.

One of the worst places I bought headphones that don't work took them back and I was on this warning about returns, because I buy replacement plans and had a bad run with printers and hard drives LAST YEAR. Called "corporate" which apparently wasn't corporate and ended up wasting my time. am currently filing a BBB complaint as well as a dispute with my card company Unfortunately the next time I step into a best buy is to look at what I want and then using Amazon newegg or the many other retailers that won't "block" me from returning a defective product.

The Secaucus Store is fairly unprofessional. I'm surprised that I was treated like an idiot, considering I also work in a customer position. I know that when it appears a product is missing something due to a customer taking some parts, you are allowed to refuse it. I also know that if you return a product without it's respective parts, you are only returned the value of the single part you bring. There's my issue. After an hour of my package being delivered incomplete, I arrive to a best buy store to return a refurbished item, knowing full well that I received it with missing parts and that's an issue with the online Best Buy. Hoping to get somewhat decent service to return this purchase entirely, I was irritated that my cashier didn't have the intention of checking my box until I told her that there were missing items. Even then, she didn't bother to check and instead called a manager. Should I have not told her about the items so that I could've got my full money back? Probably. The manager then proceeded to tell me slowly, as though I wouldn't understand, that I need all the items to get a full refund. What do I do when I wasn't sent them in the first place? Call online she says. Great. Why did I bother coming to the store? What happened to the return promise? She shows me the box like that means something to me. She waits for my reply. What do I even say to that? How disrespectful are the employees here? Is it because I look ethnic that I was denied my return? I would hate to play the race card but here it is. Full frontal. I hope Best Buy can contact these stores that make small issues into bigger ones. There's no point of me writing this if issues like these aren't addressed. If online can take my order back then I don't understand why the store cannot either, especially considering that the first solution that my call representative said was to go to a store. What's the truth when they both tell me different stories? When I asked why they wouldn't accept my return, the representative tells me that the store representative probably thought I took the items. Amazing. I'm sending back the item, getting my full return, and I'm crossing off Best Buy from my 'Shop At These Places List.'

It's ok, but it depends on which employee you ask whether or not they have any idea what you are talking about. I've had really good ones with thoughtful advice, and others that say things like "That should work." Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't even come close. I got really bad advice from one person about digital tv antennas on a first recent visit, and really good advice when I had to take the first antenna set back. It would have been good to know, though, that the replacement antenna didn't come with any cable.

My local best buy, what can I say. I normally make quick stops here and the customer service I've received here always happens to be great. My last experience there was a few days ago to pick up an order and the customer service rep, Lauren, was phenomenal. Besides attending in a timely manner, she was extremely polite and patient. After obtaining my pick up, I asked a few questions about insurance coverage and what would happen if a receipt was lost, almost seemed as if one of purchase disappeared and she helped me look for it with multiple different methods until she found it. I really appreciated this effort she made to help me walk out of the store with some peace of mind!

If you want to get noticed in this place, either walk in wearing a suit that reeks of "I have money", or immediately head to the TV or appliance sections. Other than that, you could walk laps around the inside of the store, stopping occasionally to look at something and you wouldn't be helped unless it was a high-ticket item.

Ordered an echo dot for pickup. When I arrived they said they sold the dot to someone else. “Sorry it’s first come first serve”. What’s the point of ordering online if they don’t put that product aside for you? They told me to come back the next day. The next day they still didn’t have it. So they told me to come back a third day. The third day they still didn’t have it but said I could drive 20 minutes to pick up the dot from another Best Buy. I’m the end I just cancelled the order. Never going back to this Best Buy again

It's ok for an electronics store. I use to shop here more often for appliances and electronics, but, now I do more of it online. I will visit to see what they have if I need something. Last time I visited to look for something, I encountered a friendly associate who helped me discover that what I wanted was out of stock for a long time, but, still had a space on the shelf for it. It's difficult to get from one point to anything in a straight line! Don't bother asking for assistance - they are too busy visiting with each other. Today, while my boyfriend was being irritated by the geek squad, rather then get caught up in the "who's problem is it" over the missing extended warranty identification number I decided to go check out the applicanes for my up coming kitchen remodel. Like a gazelle on the Savannah, I suddenly Notice it's very quiet, earily quiet. The air was still and no birds made a sound. That's when I saw him. The best buy "dressed like any another associate" LP guy. We will call him, Terry. He proceeded to stalk me through the entire store. Never saying anything but always there, watching. Dude, your little yellow shirt guy at the front watching the camera is.probaly suffient enough to see me slipping that 8 burner stove down my pants. But props to the geek squad who did the right thing.

I went to Best Buy looking for a microwave and an unlocked phone with international capabilities. I was helped by multiple staff members who left me a lot of time to think about the options they suggested to me. When I had questions or was ready to make a purchase, an employee was right the to answer my questions and help out. This is the best service I've received from any Best Buy I've ever been too. It was refreshing to have this level of customer service given the fact that 90% of my appliances and devices come from there.

If you are looking for a GREAT salesman for your next television, go see Bobby. He knows all there is to know about televisions by explaining all the details and differences. He never tried to upscale me, if fact he said "Don't buy something you don't need". He helped me determine what TV would be best for my needs and it wasn't the most most expensive set either. Went in to buy a computer we had in mind and talked to a customer service rep that suggested us the Lenovo Yoga. We had bought what the service rep had suggested was a great computer. After a few months the computer stopped charging and then working at all. We hardly used it but two or three times a month. We had the computer just over a year when they informed us it needed an entirely new motherboard which would have cost us close to $700. We are incredibly disappointed with BestBuy and Lenovo.

I witnessed an individual somewhat frustrated having to pay a restocking fee for a returned item. As far as I was concerned, I was well aware of the policy and it is very normal across the board with most electronic retailers. I returned my item within 15 days, unopened, and therefore no restocking fee.

Best Buy is always a "hit or miss" experience for me. Sometimes I happen across the right salesperson who knows all the answers, is helpful and informative, and makes the shopping experience a good one. Other times, however, the opposite happens and I leave the store wondering why the store has a sales team at all if I am simply going to be told to "Google it and see." Sometimes good service, sometimes not so much. I once purchased wireless earbuds and the salesperson was awesome! Totally knew everything I needed to make the best choice. I once purchased two new computer monitors and stood there for about an hour (alone). I had to find a salesperson and I asked a question about screen refresh rates. Sadly, I think the heated debate about the latest GoT episode was too much and the reply was for me to Google it. Oh well. By the way [employee name withheld], dragons aren't real and yes, this is the last season of GoT.

I can't even believe the good reviews this place has. I brought my laptop here from UNH to hopefully get a better deal fixing it, but could barely get anyone's attention because they were all sitting on their phones talking to each other. Eventually, they told me there was nothing I could do about it that wouldn't cost big bucks. Anyways, I saw something I needed in one of their front displays and decided to give them another chance. I absolutely could not believe the young ladies, probably the same age as me, using their PHONES while checking out customers!!! What planet are we living on?! When I worked retail, phones stayed in lockers/cars or we would get written up! The line was not moving, and no one seemed to be coming over to help these preoccupied girls. One employee was walking around, looking in our direction, but he never came over. Had to put the stuff down and leave because I could not believe their management wasn't addressing the line OR the ladies on their phones. Three strikes, never coming back.

Ordered online. They make it easy to just run in and pick up your order. I know that to some people, it is just a job, but the person who helped us seemed completely uninterested in being there. No eye contact, a lot of mumbling, no smile no real interaction at all. Fortunately, all that was really needed was a quick scan of the bar code, finding the package and then handing it over. I dropped off my laptop for a data transfer with my power cord. When I came back to get my old laptop and my new one they told me they couldn't do a data transfer cause they couldn't turn it on. So when I asked for my power cord back they could not provide it. Then tried to imply I didn't drop it off. After I got upset and told them I did drop it off and it's not my fault they lost my cord and I demanded my cord back. They somehow lost my power cord. And the ENTIRE store seemed not to have any other power cords to match mine. So now i ask myself did Geek Squad even try to fix my computer? They say they did but can't even provide me my power cord, that seems to be the only 1 in the whole store that can turn it on. I feel I got screwed out of a service and a power cord that has now made my other laptop obsolete. Even the general manager Todd got involved and can't find the cord. Thanks for nothing Geek Squad and Best Buy.

Very horrible service by this Best Buy's Geek Squad. I scheduled a IPhone battery replacement for Sunday, and when I arrived they said they couldn't help me because the only person who could do the replacement was out sick. Not a problem, I rescheduled for Tuesday, and when I went in they said that the person who could do the replacement had to go home early because he was sick. By this point I was wondering why they only have one person that is able to do battery replacements, but once again said not a problem and rescheduled for another day. Finally the guy who could do the battery replacement was in and they could get the process started. I was asked a couple of questions regarding my phone and battery usage and all was fine until I said I had a screen replacement that was not with Apple, and they suddenly told me that they couldn't do the service because the screen is not an Apple screen, and that if they put in the battery with a non-Apple screen my phone would fry. They also kept blaming my battery degradation on my screen replacement which I know is not an issue because I had the screen replaced a year ago with no problems. My phone's is battery is 3 years old it's bound to be degraded. Absolutely horrendous service, if they would've just gotten the questionnaire/diagnostics portion done the first day I wouldn't have had to go in three times just to be told they can't fix my phone. Or more communication about their only battery replacement guy being out so I wouldn't have to drive there just to be told there's no one able to do the replacement. I'm not upset they couldn't fix my phone due to it having non-Apple hardware, it's upsetting to have known I could have saved my time if they had better communication with their customers. The only thing this Best Buy Geek Squad did right was to refer me to NH IPhone Repair, who replaced the battery within 15 minutes and no my phone did not fry.

Huge, Best Buy went there to pick a movie I ordered on line on my way to NYC, I ordered using the Best Buy app and when I arrived from Marlyand at this store 3.5 hours later my movie was not there. Apparently they weren't in stock the store did not call even though they had my number. The one saving grace was that employee who was handling store pick-up took the time to call 4 different stores in NYC and NJ surrounding area trying to find it for me which took a considerable amount of time otherwise I would've have given this store a 1 or 2 stars for failure to communicate.

Hard to find help. I wandered around clearly looking for something for ten minutes before I had to interrupt two employees who were chatting about video games in the phone section. I recently moved from an iPhone to a Pixel and was looking for a speck case. They had a small end cap with Google's fabric case and the wireless charger and then hundreds of cases for Apple, Samsung, and other brands. There have been articles about how the Pixel is the fastest growing phone, so it surprised me that they had so little. I ended up going to Verizon, who had a much bigger selection. I have had okay luck and experiences at this Best Buy in the past, but this was not one of them. Update: I ended up purchasing a fabric case and returned it after buying a case at Verizon. The person that did the return was rude and very unfriendly.

I had bought an appliance from Best buy in Secaucus about a week ago with delivery to be on on 7/13/19 between 8am to 12pm window. ITEM WAS NOT DELIVERED & no one ever called about the STATUS. I ended going back to Best buy location to complain to the manager, Tashia and see offered no help. Not even to call their "3rd Part" delivery service to find the status or to negate the delivery charges. I asked for full refund and she said can't do it at this time since it is in transit. What good is her role as manager if she cannot put that in the system. Mind you before going to the bestbuy, I had called the store multiple times but no one picked up and when I got to the store, it was mainly empty with only 2 or 3 customers and the employee on the floor were talking to each other. Cannot understand this. CORPORATE NEEDS TO TAKE PROPER ACTION AGAINST THIS BESTBUY STORE ASAP. BECAUSE OF THIS, I HAVE DECIDED TO CANCEL THE ORDER AND NEVER TO BUY AT BESTBUY . This is my local Best Buy store, so I make appearances here from time to time for many of my electronics needs. I have bought computer parts, an iPhone, a Samsung, and a couple of gaming components. As is the usual case with Best Buy, their service is exemplary. Their knowledge is sufficient. They are helpful. While Best Buy's prices tend to be a bit higher than Walmart's, the service experience is worth that extra cost.

Went in on Thursday to exchange a TV for a bigger one. Cristina at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I didn't have my receipt and she looked it up. I thanked her for being so thankful since i initially called and the lady i was speaking to in cust service hung up on me. She proceeded to take tv out the box and test it out. Once everything was ok she told me she needed and override from manager. After about 15 mins she came back and she said she couldn't take it back because it's passed the return period and the manager won't override it. I asked if i could speak to them and after waiting for some more David from geek squad comes over and tells me "we cannot accept this return" i explained to him i never opened the tv because i was waiting to move and i just needed a bigger tv. I have spent about 5k in products from best buy in the past few months and i was looking to buy more appliances. I also told him i am a platinum customer and i would really appreciate an exception. He said that policy won't allow him and that even if he did make an exception that the store would "take a loss" and he just "couldn't do that." As some who is in customer service as a manager i know this is not right. He was very arrogant and refused to give me any options at all. I ended up going to the nearest sams club and bought another TV. And i will buy the rest of my electronics somewhere else going forward. I feel no loyalty from best buy and never expected such treatment as a loyal patron.

Every few minutes you'll have someone ask if you need help with anything which is great if you actually do but if you're just browsing and looking around to see what you can possibly buy to use it becomes somewhat of an annoyance. Most of the people there are very professional and also are Bilingual which is a relief for many around this area and understandably so. With regards to expertise in specific areas I'd say it's best if you look stuff up online before you go in to purchase just in general because it's likely you're better off finding more accurate if not more helpful information about products through reviews and tutorials over an employee who may simply just have a superficial understanding of things.

Credit card options is no good in best buy. Sales person put my old address in the system i didn't know and i waited a whole month i didn't receive the statment. One week after i called them where is my statement they said your statement came back to us and what is your address and i gave them the address and they sent it to me week later with late fee and interest even though it wasn't my fault. My license has currant addrese read before signing the paperIf you buy anything from best buy make sure your address is correct . They burned me very bad i don't want you to get burned with fees. Good luck!!!!
