These guys are amazing. Not only do they know what they are doing but they all genuinely want to help in any way they can. The first time I went to them on the recommendation of my boss I had to have my computer sent in to Apple and they made sure it was back to me as fast as possible, and very eloquently dealt with my minor freak out about not having my computer for school and work. And this last time with them I went in on a Thursday night at 4:30 with a button issue on my brand new iPhone and they ordered me a replacment and had it in the store by 9:30 the next day. Love them. If you're in the Lincoln area with any Apple issues go to them!

I had delayed repairing my MacBook Pro because I was nervous about having a non-Apple provider do the work and I didn't want to wait for shipping back and forth to Apple. When the logic board finally failed (known issue for early Retina MBPs) and my computer wouldn't turn on, I finally took it to Computer Hardware expecting it to be shipped to Apple for repair. Instead, my computer was repaired in town by the next morning and Computer Hardware even knew enough to replace another part under a defect warranty from Apple. I am extremely pleased with the friendliness, speed of service, and quality of work performed by Computer Hardware. Thank you!!

I had an issue with the cable connected to my Hard drive causing an error message, reading reviews I found Computer Hardware and decided to drive down to see what the cost would be. The staff was extremely friendly, and very educated. I came to realize that my warranty had expired 5 days prior to coming in but they called apple and worked with them to allow my warranty to take place. Their above and beyond customer service is the reason I am writing a review (which I have never done before). All I can say is Thank you to the staff and go to them with any computer needs!

I went in to Computer Hardware after cracking my iPhone and I was very frantic and they were so patient and understanding when I explained I could not be without a phone. They took a lot of time helping me and after getting everything they needed and by-passing barriers with Apple, these guys fixed my screen in 2 hours maybe even less and did a fantastic job for a very great price. Took my phone in get the battery replaced, and was very satisfied. That Cook guy, Rob I think, took my phone and replaced the battery in 30 minutes. He then told me that I dressed nice and gave me a water bottle for my drive home. I would drive hours just to have Rob replace my phone battery again. Thanks Rob!

My macbook pro stopped working so I took it into Computer Hardware. They gave me an estimate of $75-150. After they had it for a day they called me to tell me the hardware cable was broken and they would be able to fix under an Apple warranty at no cost to me. They also cleaned my keyboard and screen - made my laptop look like new!

Went in to replace my battery that had been recalled by Apple in my iPhone, was told that because of a small scratch on the very corner of my phone I would have to pay them $150 to replace my screen before they would put in the battery. So I drove to the Apple store and they told me the scratch was nothing and replaced my battery in half the time. I'll drive 2 extra hours before going back.

I would highly recommend Computer Hardware for anyone with an Apple product. I went in with a broken screen on my MacBook Pro that was out of warranty and was fully expecting to pay the upwards of $750 for a new screen. The technician said he would do what he could with getting a new screen.The next day he called me back and said that he convinced Apple to cover my screen! He saved me over $700 dollars that I expected I was going to have to pay (I spoke to Apple over the phone before I went to the store and they said I would have to pay for it). I only had to pay for the service charge, which was well worth it because it was done the next day! Extremely happy with my experience at Computer Hardware and will be coming back if I need anything.

I am very impressed by the service I received. I went in with a cracked screen, they quickly processed my request, and then continued to answer all of my annoying questions. They were polite and patient with me. In less than 24 hours, I get a phone call asking me permission to go ahead and order a new screen with a complete explanation of how much it will cost. After I gave the go ahead, it took less than 24 hours to get my computer back, fixed like new. The best part, is the $ I spent on diagnosing the problem went towards the total! What a great business model! Thank you for all of the help Computer Hardware. I will definitely visit again.

I dropped my computer off with a cracked screen at 4pm on a Monday afternoon. I was upset that Apple would not cover my screen repair under the 1-year warranty and was stressed about finals coming up. The next day (Tuesday) at 12:30pm I received a call that the staff at Computer Hardware had worked with Apple and Apple covered my repair. My computer screen was repaired in less than 24 hours and they managed to get it back to me free of charge. I would 100% recommend working with Computer Hardware for any repair needs.

Went in twice to try and get an IPhone battery changed. Said it would take at least two hours to change a battery and they closed in an hour. I asked if there was anywhere else in Lincoln that could accommodate changing a battery and I was told “ no one else in Lincoln can change a battery out”. I googled it there is another place within blocks of this store called we fix it I phone repair. I drove down and had a new battery in my phone within 15 minutes of walking into that store. I would not go here just knowing their staff lies, who knows what else they lie about. Edit: I do want to bump up my star rating after reading the stores response. I was to rough in my judgment. Two hours is a reasonable amount of time to fix a battery especially when there are other customers who have dropped off stuff before me, I apologize for my comment on that. I do believe what got me upset was the response about being the only people able to repair a battery. Perhaps a more appropriate response to that question would be, “ We are the only Apple certified technicians but if you’re ok with going to a location that can change a battery that is not Apple certified you could find that on google.” I would have walked out happy gone and gotten it done and then next time come back to your store.

Fast, efficient, knowledgable. Took my almost 6-year-old MacBook Pro in to have them diagnose a problem. Got it back in two days working like a new computer. They added memory and replaced a cable to the hard drive. Although I didn't want to spend $250, it was sure better than spending much more than that for a new computer. I've known they were a dependable Apple provider for a long time; nice to see that that hasn't changed.

Incredible customer service. The staff was extremely helpful in diagnosing and ultimately fixing my Apple Watch by jumping through the necessary hoops of Apple's warranty. I don't remember utilizing a manufacture's warranty that wasn't like pulling teeth. This experience was completely different. Top-notch service, excellent follow-up, and super friendly guys. We went to this store, because it is a "premier partner" of Apple, but now I am very disappointed! My feeling is that they care about their profit, but not the customers. Made an appointment in advance, and waited outside in the very cold morning with my kid until it opens, but left the store very disappointed and very angry! This is my first time to write a review. I never wrote a negative review to any store, but this time I am just very very angry.

Had a iPhone 7 screen fail. The reviews were spot on with this group, they are Great! I live two hours from the nearest certified Apple store so after looking at reviews of my options, overnighted it to them after talking to them on the phone. Called them back the next day as agreed shortly after they said they should receive their overnight packages. They asked me a few questions about my particular phone, informed me that they had already confirmed 100% of the cost would be covered by Apple warranty (even though Verizon took me in circles and warranty was not an option

Hands down worst customer service I have had in a long time. I called in on a issue I was having with my Iphone, and was told that they could take care of it. I get there and waited for about 30 minutes to find out that they couldn't take care of it. Apparently they are not all on the same page there or the management is just poor. Stay away!!!

These guys are hand down the best in town for Apple anything. I had a very complex problem with my iMac. I would start it up and it would flash a folder with a "!" on the front of it. I tried contacting Apple themselves to see if I could get assistance over the phone. After talking for an hour, the rep ended up failing my hard drive. Me being shocked that he might have actually messed up my computer even more, he got me what was called a "CS Code" (A code the apple generates and their partner stores will help you out completely free) Super convenient, I didn't have to drive anywhere to an Apple store (Closest one is in Omaha) They sent me here, to Computer Hardware, and honestly, wow! The service I received from RYAN was completely 5 star. Welcomed with a smile and a "What can WE do for you" Ryan was able to determine the actual problem that was going on with in seconds it seemed (Mind you I was on the phone with apple for an hour and 36 minutes) Ryan not only figured it out, took my computer, found my CS Code, and said it would be done in 3 days, FOR FREE (since I had a Apple CS CODE) The NEXT DAY, I received a call from Ryan, letting me know, that MY COMPUTER WAS ALREADY DONE. I hurried there, got it, went home, and BOOM, works like it was brand new. I would recommend these guys HANDS DOWN, WITHOUT A DOUBT. Ryan was my sales guy, and Alex was my technician. Ill be going to these guys for a lifetime.

I had considered taking my phone to another provider in Lincoln as the price to repair the screen was much cheaper ... but not with genuine Apple parts. Computer Hardware is the ONLY Apple Authorized Service provider in Lincoln—going elsewhere would mean I would have received substandard knock-off parts—yes cheaper, but you get what you pay for! Save yourself the hardship of having to repair your phone multiple times and get it done right at Computer Hardware!

If there was a way to give them negative or zero stars, I would not hesitate. Will never do business with COMPUTER HARDWARE INC on South 70th street again. I had liquid damage on my laptop and took it to them to look at and fix. First encounter - I told them what was the issue and they told me off the bat because of the model or Year of the laptop I had to pay the diagnostic fee up front. So I paid then waited for them to tell me the issue the next day. Second encounter, the next day, they called and told me that it would be $875+ to fix the damage through Apple. I asked where this number came and all I got was "our apple certified tech quoted this from our tier level of damage pricing". At this point I have to have a laptop, it's just not an option to be without one when I'm a college student so I agree to the price to have it fixed. I came in to sign off on this price to be financed and was told that was a quote before tax, which is something they already left out. I said okay fine I'll agree to the taxed price and asked if that was it, they said that would be it. Anyway today I received a voicemail stating that the tech made a mistake and looked at the wrong price for my laptop so the price was now quoted $400+ more than the original quote and I had to agree to the difference to get it fixed. I called apple to confirm if there was even a tier pricing system to fix their products and they said the store shouldn't have quoted me anything that didn't come directly from Apple. So I called the store and they told me what they thought would be the damage to the laptop and not what Apple quoted. I asked what exactly I was paying for and they couldn't give me further details as to what their tier level criterias were. In case anyone ever runs into this again, Apple specifically states that any store with a certified tech or is Apple certified, CANNOT quote customers anything that did not come directly from Apple. I'm now out a diagnostic fee and still a broken laptop.

Whenever I have had a computer question over the last three years, the staff at Computer Hardware have been friendly and helpful. Most recently I had a problem with the disk drive on my MacBook Pro. I took it to the Apple store in Omaha (where I now live) and they suggested I take it back to Computer Hardware. I did and they fixed it for me--no problem.

I went to Verizon with an iPhone that was under a year old and wasn't staying charged. I was told that I had two options - do a hard reset or get a refurbished phone since it was after 14 days. A friend told me to go to Computer Hardware because the "14 day warranty" is a Verizon warranty, and not an Apple warranty. Computer Hardware replaced my battery and my phone is as good as new. The store employees were super helpful and friendly, and the store was spotless. Very impressed with this place!
