The 3 women working acted as if they did not know what was going on when i asked about a specific thing i was looking for. They told me after i had looked that they believed they were out and could've looked on their computers to see if it was in stock

I may have to find a new place for my printing. After placing an order online receiving the confirmation it was ready to be picked up I showed up at the store this morning. Being greeted with a surly sales rep who is clearly irritated that he could not find my order. I went back out to my car to get proof of the order. Came back in which he never asked to see my confirmation. Immediately found my order and then blamed me for not having my full name clearly displayed on on their tracking system. After all of the inconvenience I was never apologize to nor was I thank for my order. I think Office Depot could spend a little bit of time on customer service training

If you're looking for a place that has people that want to help... or a place where you can even find people, don't go here. They might as well change this store to a self service model. If you can, go to Wal Mart or Target, you at least get it cheaper, and go in getting what you expect. You would probably get more help too.

I must say that my review is of the Print Center in this store. The employees, from the manager to the workers in the Print center are horrible. I have had four occasions to use their services in the last 4 months. Each time I have experienced employees that are uninformed about what they offer in services, and a manager that is always too busy to pay attention to who she helping, nevertheless help her employees with questions. I called a Office Depot store in Reno, and they were more than happy to help me with my printing needs. I guess because they are the only game in town, they feel they can treat people this way. I just left there tonight feeling like I was a 2nd grader who was speaking out of turn! Enough, I will never go back. As for the rest of the store employees, they are great with customer service. Time to clean house in the Print Center.

Saw 6 employees in the store during my visit, always in pairs of two, standing together, talking amongst themselves. I wandered through the store trying to find some items and wasn't having any luck. No employees asked if they could help me, even when I walked right next to them. Two of them even turned their backs and walked away as I approached the area they were standing in and moved a few aisles down so they could continue their conversation in privacy.

The recently remodeled store is more appealing than before and easier to find stuff. Looks like a Best Buy now. I can usually find everything I need. I like that I can choose what I need on line, then they will set is aside and I can quickly pick it up in an hour or less.

I just got back from Office Depot at this location today (Halloween). I was pleasantly surprised. I usually avoid stores like this because I feel the prices can sometimes be more money but after having an employee at Hobby Lobby point me to the wrong product and not having that product work I decided to give Office Depot a try. I was able to find the correct product area quickly (everything was labeled well) and while looking for exactly what I wanted was approached by an employee to see if I needed help. He wasn't pushy, (I am very shy and get nervous easily) and was very helpful. He showed me a couple of options that I hadn't seen and then let me make my own choice. After helping me I heard the employee helping another customer who's English was fairly proficient but somewhat limited when asking for something very specific. He was very kind and patient with her. He didn't treat her any different than he treated me. I thought that was awesome! I wish I had remembered to look at his name tag. All I can remember was that he was a little older (older than 40) and tall. Since it was Halloween the employee asked me if my son (he is almost 3) could have a treat (I was grateful that he didn't just assume). I said he could and the employee was very patient while my son picked one out. We had been at Costco earlier that day and my son wasn't given a candy at the door because he wasn't dressed in a costume. That was my fault not my son's fault (he was wearing his Sunday clothes as part of his costume and I thought that he better not wear it while eating samples). He didn't say anything but I could see that he noticed. Basically my son was very surprised and very excited when he got a treat at Office Depot. The cashier was also nice and kind to my son. The sticker paper I initially bought at Hobby Lobby was $4ish dollars after a 40% off coupon for 3 sheets of the wrong kind of sticker paper. The sticker paper I bought at Office Depot was $12ish for 25 sheets of the correct kind of sticker paper! I know where I am going the next time that I need anything of this nature again.

Customer service was awful. We had to wait around for 20 minutes before someone came to the register. Tried to buy erasers to go towards a charity and they were changing 5X the marked price (they had in print 3 per household, but it was really really small) but would not do the discount price even though they are all going to different households. And when I said they would go to different house hold because they kits were all being sent to different kits in Jordan and Lebanon. And the lady said if the kids want them they can come here and get them. If they can only afford a stick and dirt for their school supplies do you really think they can come out here and buy your erasers. Think people use your brains. And they were very rude about all of it.

It's been quite a while since I've been to an Office Depot. The inventory is definitely lower, probably because apps on our phones have replaced many of the organizer tools office supply stores sold. Many more employees than customers, for sure. I'm not sure what this store has that Costco, Amazon or a phone app does not.

Very dissapointed and wasted 4 days trying to get my computer fixed....Tyler kept having me come back then could not fix all of it. Wanted to charge more and maybe they could fix it when I have already given them $117.77!!!!! So we left the partially fixed computer with them and stopping payment on credit card and now I have to go buy a new computer!!! Don't waste your time in the computer repair dept.!!!!!!!!!!!! They don't have the expertise.

Just stopped by Office Depot for a few copies of my resume, there were a ton of people in line at the copy center but the employee working that desk was very polite and greeted everyone with a "welcome to Office Depot, there is a bit of a line but we will get to you as soon as possible." By the time the gentleman got around to the person in front of me (whose order seemed rather complex in that this individual wanted extremely precise products arranged just to fit what she was looking for) I could tell they were truthfully trying their hardest to meet the needs of their customers AND get all of each persons printing needs handled in a timely manner. They really did a wonderful job. My resume copies look just the way I had hoped as well.

Purchased an hp laptop for Christmas and the laptop has NEVER worked from the start but because it was purchased at the beginning of December and not opened or used until Christmas which is outside their 14-day return policy I was told I’m out of luck for a refund! $650 down the drain!

Overall the employee's are good. They even know the one employee that is not! They seem to be out of a lot of items (Not school related) and they are nice enough to sale an item that will work even if it cost more for the same price as whats not in stock or if they can not find it. However be warned ALWAYS check on Amazon for the best price for items even ones on sale because I have seen Office Depot sale items NOT be less then Amazon and Office Depot will match Amazon.

Worst customer service!! At the copy and print station today!! Everytime I have gone in and had to use their computer to print they let me but today the older lady who must be new, ignored me standing there for 5 minutes then when I asked if I could do that she told me no thats not allowed so I started to say that is weird because I always do this and she just walked away mid sentence to help someone else and did not acknowledge me afterwards or offer a different solution. I took paper I bought online here to get it cut down to specific sizes. The cuts were sloppy, none of the pieces of paper matched in size and an entire ream of paper was wasted. Do not trust their inept service department with anything regarding your business. When I commented on the quality of work I was told "well it's not a magic cutter".

Worst experience thus far at Office Depot. They had a buy 2 get one free promotion on Avery labels. So I decided to get 3 boxes of labels. I was purchasing on my biz account and they spent about 30 minutes trying to give me the promotion. Their system would not allow it. I was already late for my appt so I told them I would just purchase them without the discount. They were relieved when I said this. So I ended up paying 40 dollars more than they were advertising. After I told them I would just pay for it cause I had to leave it still took another 10 minutes for them to check me out! Stuff like this is why Amazon will run these guys out of business. Not customer oriented! I'm not a happy customer.

I will not be going back. Every time I go to print I get someone who doesn't know what they are doing. I pay for 1 hour printing and it is not done within the hour. One of their printers is always not working or they are out of the paper I need. They give random excuses for themselves and I'm tired of dealing with them and I'm generally very flexible but this is ridiculous. I will be driving out of my way to Staples for now on.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. The only reason I shop here is that they are the only ones in town that carry a product I need but EVERY time I go in my experience is worse than the time before! Yesterday I had to wait 5 minutes at the cash register to be able to pay because no one was around to ring me up. The time before there was a guy there but he was too busy reading his consumer report magazine to help. There is ALWAYS some creepy guy at the door to completely ingenuinely greet you, its more of an insult than a greeting.

I was on hold for 10 minutes just to have her pick up and say, "we don't have it don't know what the hell to tell you." Nice customer service. Managers there don't care either. I have 2 complaints. I ordered online and tried using my coupons and would not let me use all coupons so had to do 2 separate orders. I ordered office copypaper and was guaranteed 1-3 day shipping. Here it is over a week later and still not delivered I have called several times only to be told very different things every time. It has cost me much more than the cost of paper as I have lost out on contracts because of not recievong. And to top it off the so called supervisor I spoke to just 20 min ago could barely speak English and gave me yet another excuse to why I have not received it. I will no longer buy anymore of our office supplies through them . be wary of ordering from them online.

I needed a welcome home poster made for my son who is a US Marine. They asked what I wanted. I told them outdoor banner, showed them design I wanted. They had me send them the picture. They didn't resize it so it wouldn't be pixelated. And they did it on paper. So couldn't be used outdoor. They did it cheap and put no effort in at all. I was extremely disappointed. They did give me my money back which I appreciated. However I didn't have time to get another one made before my son got home... Save yourself the time and hassle. Go somewhere they take pride in their work

Went in to pick up a desk we ordered online. The customer service manager was in. Mind you, this is the second time we’ve had an encounter with this gentleman, whose name I didn’t catch becuase I was blown away by his arrogance and utter disrespect. You need a new customer service manager as the current one has absolutely no idea how to treat customers. He swore the desk we boight wouldn’t fit in our trunk. Until my fiance insisted, he didn’t wven want to try. The deak fit fine. And the previous time we had been in, I asked if they had wireless keyboards and his response was “of course, any store has them.” Well obviously, But I was at YOUR store. Be helpful instead of condescending. We will NEVER go back to Office Depot. We will shop at Staples from here on out.

Because the Office Depot website didn't give me a "Order Complete" or something similar, but gave me the impression that it had not gone through, I did the process again. However, I didn't trust that, and checked with my bank and found two orders pending. I called the Office Depot customer service line and they said they had no record of the order, which wasn't the truth, because they had requested funds from my bank. Also, they said they had both my physical and postal addresses, and my phone number which were associated with my order, but couldn't seem to find the order. They couldn't find it so I could cancel it, and now I guess they're just stuck with having my money. Also, the customer service agent spoke extremely poor english, and kept banging the phone on the desk, I assume to get me to hang up. WHAT A NIGHTMARE....

I needed to print some papers for my small business and decided to try Office Depot. I called ahead to make sure they would be able to print it exactly as I needed. When it was my turn to speak with the associate about printing he cut me off while I was talking and came off quite rude. He told me he probably wouldn't be able to resize my images as I had explained to him and said that another associate who was helping a customer may be able to do this. I said I could wait, as it's 23 degrees out and I'm with my one year old. I begin to look around the store. He then find me and asks if I can come back as it may take awhile. I let him know that I'm not coming back once I leave. He walks off. About 15-20 minutes later he get the attention of the associate he was talking about that may be able to assist. He tells her that I want my image on a 3x5 post card. She walks off and after a few minutes I explain to her that there has been a miscommunication. I want my images resized to 3x5 on regular cardstock. She then tells me the associate that can do that won't be here until 1pm and they would charged for the resizing of the image. I'm upset because 1. I called ahead to see if they could do this, 2. Nothing was explained until I spoke with the last associate, 3. I wasted my time and wasn't able to get anything done. My experience at this location is generally positive, four stars worth. I live nearby and sometimes go to FedEx Kinko's. They are good also. I have done two large print jobs at this location. The price was a bit lower than competition. Jeanin, Heather, and Charlotte have been very helpful in the print shop. They turned the job around sooner than promised. They do watch their labor I agree but you gotta do that. All the supplies, hardware, and furniture you could expect in our 55k city.

I wish there were negative stars on here. I went in to this location around 5pm today (11/10/16), after calling in to see if they had a working color printer. I called, because I had a bad luck streak of 4 other stores across town that had broken or serviced machines. When we came in and asked the nice man behind the counter which printer we needed, to print programs for our Papa's funeral tomorrow, a woman yelled in a condescending tone. "What do you need, THAT'S ONLY my tech!" We explained that we had just called and why we were there. A funeral! Not in an entitled tone, just begging compassion. "It's down, that why he's here, I don't know when it'll be up!" To which the nice tech responded, "I can have it ready in 15 minutes." She interrupted, "NO, at least 2 hours, I have to run tests. We're not customer service here!" No attempts to problem solve and every attempt to shuffle us out of the store. Like our day wasn't hard enough... Didn't catch her name but she was a mid to late 20s, big glasses, short dirty blond hair, 5'6-5'8, and a mean mug. The tech man was the only one who was nice and doing their job. Too bad he wasn't an employee there :(

Terrible customer service at the print desk! I went to ask some questions about how much it would cost for a job and the woman who helped me acted extremely defensive. I just needed a basic quote and she wouldn’t even walk behind the counter to see what she could do for me. Anyone complaining must not have gone to either of the Staples in Bozeman, as they are extremely understaffed and have told me I will have to wait for someone to be available to help me find something. Whereas Office Depot you can't even walk to the back wall without being asked if you need help. Additionally, it's much cleaner and better stocked than either Staples.

6:30 pm 2/27/19 Wed night, why I continue to use this place is so far beyond me. The last three times I’ve been in here I’ve either walked out without what I was looking for or I had to track someone down to help me. The girls up front(one on her phone and the other locker to her cashier) both looked at me like I was from another country. After searching for over 45 min down every isle I asked for the things you put on a peice of paper to repair it if it rips out of your binder. One girls says “uh, I don’t know.” The girl on her phone says “if it has to do with binding it’s over there under the purple sign that says binding.” Neither one offering any more assistance than that. Finally search the internet, find the name of it, make sure Office Depot carries it and it wasn’t just something I made up in my head from my childhood and go searching for assistance again. Finally I grab a guy who refuses to make eye contact and ask, “ do you work here?” He said “ya” I showed him what I needed on my phone and he walked me over and said “here they are on the bottom shelf.” And walked away. I took it to the cashier and said “these are what I was looking for and I swear at that point I was in the movie Clueless. She said “oh yeah, there is just so many things h ere. Haha” I’m done with this place.

We printed our wedding invitations here two different times because we needed more after the first round. Quinn was super helpful and quick. He printed & cut them at a good price. However for our 30 extra ones, the printing "manager" Colton refused to do them for the same price. He insisted that the other salesman made a mistake and he cannot charge us the same for our extras we needed. For printing we were charged The regular price but if we wanted them to cut them (as they had previously), they would've charged us $50 extra. We had to cut them ourselves to save money AND he has printed some of the backs upside down so we had to go back in the next day and have those reprinted. I asked if they could cut the 7 fixed pages for us since they messed up and we had already cut all the rest and he refused without charging us $8 per page. All in all, the manager Colton is condescending and rude whereas the rest of the employees were helpful. I recommend going when the manager isn't there or going to the Provo location.

It's a great place to go if you know exactly what you want, and you know where it is in the store. The customer service is here can't really be called bad as much as non-existent. Everytime I have been here there only seems to be one maybe two employees in the whole store. When you do finally find someone to assist you, they seem less than pleased to oblige. Clean store, signed well and easy to navigate. Picked up a few items, spent about 60 minutes in the store. The best priced items are not always at eye level, some were at the very bottom of bins and shelves. Good selection of backpacks, school supplies, electronics and office furniture. Was greeted upon entry and asked only once if we needed help finding anything ; which was nice not being pestered by sales associates. Overall a pleasant experience.

I've been to office depot maybe two handfuls worth of times in the past 10 years. I would shop there more if their prices were better. But compared to best buy and walmart I see them as struggling to compete. Perhaps if they had some niche items that weren't found at other stores. I give it a 3 stars for at least having friendly workers and good products. I also give it a three for lack of uniqueness and not very competive prices. They need something to set themselves apart from the pack.

I usually have had great experiences at this location but today I picked up one item and stood at the checkout counter for a few minutes. When no attendant showed up to help I walked over to the print/copy counter and a rude employee snapped “didn’t you see the sign?”, then proceeded to walk over toward me and stood pointing at a sign; motioning me to come over and read it. Then she continued with, “ We don’t have a cashier today and we are trying to run our print jobs so you’ll have to wait awhile”...and said it all with an attitude and was actually annoyed she had to check out myself and two other customers. This situation seemed like a scheduling issue on the part of the manager and the employee needs to go back to training on customer service.

Worst customer service I've had in a long time. I went in to buy a ream of paper, which was posted as buy one get one free. It was a Sunday, and I was the only customer in the store. The cashier was not nice, and didn't seem to care at all about my service. The register didn't register the sale, and when I asked him about the paper sale, he didn't know any information about it, nor did he care to check the paper when I brought it to his attention. Instead he questioned me over and over about it. He was not helpful one single bit. I was very disappointed with the service. The manager was standing feet away and he didn't even acknowledge the situation or take initiative to help out. Overall, a really bad experience.

Office Depot has lost this customer. I ordered a desk and chairs on the understanding that they'd be delivered in a short time. When the delivery date passed I went in to ask, and was treated terribly. I had to call their 1-800# three times just to get the correct tracking information, only to find out that my order was still ten days away. In less time than it took me to write this review I ordered a desk and chair (and a bunch of other office stuff) that'll be delivered in less than a day! Sorry Office Depot, my money will be going elsewhere.
