I made a reservation in Genius Bar to replace my MacBook Pro battery. I went in and was helped almost immediately. Fortunately, I was able to get my battery changed the same day and was told to come back before the close of business. My laptop was ready within 30 minutes. I thought my Apple Care had expired, turns out, it had not. The associates were helpful and professional. Great experience!

I have a mixed experiences at this store. Quality of treatment by Genius specialists is a lot different every time I go. In the past 1 month I have to visit twice while my first experience was by a stubborn non explaining specialist: paying a little to no attention to my questions while latest (Yesterdays) was by a specialist who took time and explain about what is happening and what to expect. However I also have to wait long times even though appointment was scheduled. It would be helpful to display a wait-line or inform us while checking in how much time we have to wait.

Went in , treated rudely at the entry, shuffled in line to a tech who said I didn't need a battery replacement, told me I would receive a text that a tech would see me, never happened. Fortunately, i made an appointment at the same time for a Saturday . When I arrived, treated poorly at the door - no eye contact - directed to a tech, hooked up my phone for an analysis, indicated a new battery was needed. Came back 4 hours later for the phone with a new battery. Six hours after that my phone went blank never to return.. So much for the new battery.

Not a good place. I own everything Apple and my recommendation is to get everything either online or elsewhere. There seems to be an issue every time I go to this store. The last time I went, I bought a MacBook Pro and I really wanted to get Beats Studio3 Headphones, but the guy who was providing us service was being mistreated for taking too long with us by other employees, he got really nervous, he messed up our order twice, and I couldn’t get the headphones at the end. Meanwhile my dad was being targeted by an employee named Rachel. He complained about his experience on social media and when he came back to the store, a month later, he was threatened by the manager of the store for complaining on social media! This place is ridiculous.

Went to the Apple Store at Saddle Creek today to buy a I PAD, walked in and stood around the i pad table with around twenty employees walking around, some were busy taking care of customers. I waved for help several time with no avail. After standing there for around 20 min, I walked in the back and asked for a manager, the girl said I don't see one on the floor and walked off. I left and purchased one at best buy where I was asked immediately by several employees if i needed help. I will never waste my time making a purchase at this store.

This is an absolutely stunning store. You really can feel and experience how Apple wants its stores to be here. The sales associates were extremely helpful and friendly and they did not dissatisfy. The wait time was minimal. My wife and I went in to buy a new MacBook and were able to be in and out of the store in under 30 minutes. The associate who helped with the purchase was courteous and knowledgeable. I will definitely stop here again when I need new Apple products.

Made and appointment and drove in from 45 minutes away. Checked in with the guy at the front door and he told us to wait in the waiting area to be called. He NEVER checked us in and we waited well over an hour. We never got our issue resolved and left the store. I noticed all the people waiting to be helped beside me and the number of red shirt apple employees just walking around chatting. Very inefficient and not a place to resolve your computer or phone problems. I should have read all the negative reviews before wasting my time.

My mother's data was STOLEN from her phone at this location. The employee that stole the data is now in prison. Apple had to change its policies for their employees because of the data theft. Apple Store employees are not allowed to wear Apple watches at work because they can transfer a phones data to the watch. This was not the first time that the employee had stolen a phones data. In fact, they found that Every phone he ever touched had the data stolen from it. He was the greeter at the store. The manager at this store was not helpful at all, and he was to be replaced as well. Apple paid my mother $15,000 for the data theft that occurred at the Apple Store at Saddle Creek. I was paid a $10,000 bounty for finding the security problem. Be careful with your phones, and NEVER LET AN APPLE STORE EMPLOYEE WALK AWAY FROM YOU WITH YOUR PHONE. YOUR DATA IS AT RISK.

The worst apple store in the world they never can fix your problem and they charge you a arm and leg when you're still under warranty. I come all the way from AR to get turned around several times. Androids are starting to look good to me now. IPhones are overrated and expensive.

Had to make another review because it wouldn’t fit in one post!! Issue #2: If you go into the store to make a purchase make sure to bring someone over the age of 50 if you want any type of service. My boyfriend and I who are in our mid-20s stood at the table with MacBooks for about 30 minutes while numerous other older people with their kids were approached by store associates who assisted them and helped them make decisions and answer questions. Eventually I approached an associate to ask about purchasing a MacBook and to ask how to sign up to get the 18 month interest free financing. He explained that it would probably take a few days for my application to process and it would all depend on IF I could even get approved for the card needed to do the financing. He still did not offer any type of assistance on answering questions or help with choosing a laptop. So I finally fill out the credit card application in store and was immediately approved. I then received FABULOUS customer service after they verified that I did indeed have the capability of paying. Interesting because no else had to prove anything before they were assisted. Long story short, they don’t listen, aren’t honest about complications, and pretty much ignore you unless you’re an older adult that appears to have money.

I honestly don't think I've ever written an online review, but this particular Apple Store provided the best customer experience I have ever had. I drove about 90 minutes with a MacBook Pro that eventually needed a new hard drive and cable, and out of sympathy a sweet man named Ethan stayed after his shift just to help me. He was extremely helpful and truly saved the day.

I purchased a 10XR about 25 days ago and the audio went out. I took it to the store for a new phone and was told I had to pay $99. They offered to fix it for free. Who pays over a $1000 for a phone to be told you have to pay for a replacement. Mind you it was a malfunction on apple. If anybody else had this problem, please post. Apple must stop.

Customer service is awful! I had made an appointment and arrived at scheduled time and was told I had to wait at least 3 hours before they would replace my battery. Staff was very rude and they told me walk-ins before appointments. I asked why make an appointment if you have to wait?? I drove 3 hours to go to this store! HORRIBLE!!!!

I used to get great service and great products here. Bought a computer, faulty keys. The replacement, also faulty keys. They pushed me off to 1-(800) MY-APPLE who said I could drop it off at the store. I tried, and they said I should mail it myself. If I left it with them, they wouldn't give me a receipt nor confirm the return. If it gets misplaced, it would be my responsibility. The best part, despite speaking with the manager who confirmed that Apple's email instructions disagreed with his policy, he reported Apple Store Saddle Creek has lost other customers' computers but that's not his problem... it's the customers. So, I mailed it. Apple once had the best products and the best service, but things are different now. I guess they are too big to care about any individual customer.

What's Going On

Went to Apple about a Month ago Because my iPhone 6s Plus wouldn't turn on , When I came in it was extremely crowded the line was almost out the door it's sad how I made an appointment and still had to wait a hour and a half just so i can get situated and talk to a staff member , when I told them about how my phone wasn't turning on the man told me to go over to one of the tables and charge my phone up BUT I already told him I charged it for 3 Days and it wouldn't turn on But he still advise me to do so . After 45 minutes I was still waiting on A staff member. After a hour the man sat me down I told him what was going on he told me it was nothing he could do because it was a hardware problem with the phone AND THATS NOT ALL FOLKS ... He told Me that I could replace the whole phone for 499$ Apple is just money hungry they don't care about the customers. AND SO After all that time standing and sitting down on them hard ass wood stools that's all you had to tell me ? APPLE IS A GREAT STORE BUT THE STAFF IS TERRIBLE . I see why most Apple costumers switch to Android or go to Samsung and get a galaxy phone . But now I'm also happy with a samsung Galaxy S9

This is my very first google review; I just felt I really needed to say something about this Apple Store. I live 45mins away and have been in 5-6 times in the past two months to try to get an appointment for hardware support that the call center can't help me with. They always tell me something different; wait for an opening, we can't book appointments so come back another day, or we can book appointments but the system is down. I have a $2500 Mac for work and school and I expect a certain level of customer service for something like this. Yesterday, I went in once again to try to get some hardware help and very politely explained to the woman taking appointments that I've been trying to get in for two months now and can't just take a whole day out of work or class. She was snarky and said "well we all work" and that there was nothing she could do, so come back another day. I am usually a very calm person, but now I'm upset. This kind of service for such a reputable company baffles me.

My mother dropped her iphone 6s in water. She immediately took it to this store. They said she needed an appointment and refused to fix it. I know that the phone was probably ruined but I also know that you need to take it apart and let it dry out for a while before you try to power it up again. You need a special little star driver to take it apart which I assume an apple store has. They were not helpful at all. They just convinced my mom to get a new one.

Just ordered a MacBook Pro 15” for instore pickup. Customer service put the laptop in a bag and handed it to me with a receipt and a smile and told me I was all set. Not the same Apple experience I’m used too for sure. They didn’t offer any help setting it up or showing me features or how to use the system. I didn’t need help but the offer would have been nice. Didn’t ask me about cases or accessories. I was also told during the exchange that if I didn’t purchase Apple care for the laptop then any problems concerning hardware would not be covered and I would be responsible. I’m not sure if the Apple associate was lying to me about the warranty or just misinformed but Apple laptops carry a one year warranty for anything not involving negligent care of the laptop. Saddlecreek should do a better job with customer service based on this experience. Offer customers the right information regarding warranty. Offer to setup customers systems as advertised. Offer customers accessories and software they may need for their new system.

I was really happy with my experience there. My Mac wasn't backed up and suddenly wouldn't start turning on. It was fixed quickly, and the guy who fixed it explained everything to me and answered all my questions without making me feel like an idiot. They got me an appointment when I walked in and I was out of there in an hour and a half. So glad to have a Mac back and this service available!

Had no Idea they moved. When I got to my appointment I was impressed with the number of people to wait on you. Of course the place was hopping. Even with people waining to get in I found three of the people were Apple employee's. I was checked in and with my appointment at 10:15 someone found me 10 minutes before then. Very energetic. He let me know everything he was doing to test my phone. In the end a replacement was ordered. Make sure you get an appointment before you go. This is by far the worst I've ever been treated by a business in my life. I have called 12 times this week and I still haven't been able to speak to anybody. I have been on hold for hours. I'm even on hold now and have been for 30 minutes. Don't waste your time.

Not every customer wants to spend the time in the store as an 'experience.' Challenge: Balance between days-long mail-in and wading through a sea of fellow customers in the store. This 'experience' made real even after having earlier made an appointment specifically for a mid-morning, mid-week time. Stopped in a few minutes earlier than my appointment for a replacement battery. Still had to wait nearly 30 minutes for someone to process the order after getting my name in the queue. This should have been a simple drop off that does not force the customer to browse or sit in chairs without backs or fashionable wood boxes. I have to return for the phone. No problem. But the whole point of going through the appointment process should be that the wait times are in line with customer's advance effort. I am not looking forward to another 30 minutes just to pick up and sign for the repair. I would love to see an automated drop box with QR code or similar. I'd happily self-service and run through prompted screens preparing the phone for the repair process. Fail that and put me in the wait queue. Most of what I saw today at drop off should be done with AI.

I went extremely upset for the inconvenience, only to find out that the Apple Support person gave me a bad recommendation for a resolution to my problem. On 02/14/18 I visited the Apple Store in Saddle Creek Germantown to report the volume on my 4 month old iPhone 8+ blanks out during calls where I can’t hear nor be heard during calls. Arsele immediately goes into a defensive spill about not replacing the phone without testing and performs a sound test and of course it passes, and while this is happening I notice another customer with the same issue. Keep in mind that this is not an upgrade I simply want a phone that works. My sister in another city had the same issue and her phone was swapped out. I am not satisfied with the phone working after a restart and reset of network so I ask for a manager. Here comes Mason whom has already been briefed on what is going on and repeats that they will not swap the phone out. He also states that the reason my phone is having issues is due to my personal info being on the phone, I asked him to put that in writing and of course he did not. He said the next step is to restore the phone to factory settings, I notice they say this a lot to discourage any further inquiries from the customer, but no, I sat that and restored my phone to factory settings and we play phone tag where he calls me in the store to see if I can hear him and I can. I asked what now is the next step to getting this issue resolved, since I have missed work and cannot conduct calls without the volume intermittently going in and out, he stated that it is depends on the next technician that I get and he decides, even if it means staring over and wiping my phone again. Needless to say, 30 minutes after I leave the store the issues reappears. I will be returning and demanding a new phone. The customer service at this store is nonexistent the employees think they are gods and are very rude. It is shameful the way they treat customers after they have spent thousands of dollars on their faulty products. I see why they have lost customers to Samsung. Apple treats its customers like trash.

This is just like going to the DMV, with a few notable downgrades. No chairs to sit and wait, no realistic estimate of when you will be helped or if anyone is even paying attention to your concern, the "trainer" on the massive screen in the back of the room teaching the apple-brainwashed horde how to turn their computer on, and finally it reeks of the stench of a smug attitude desprately trying to be relevant. I wish zero stars was an option.

Took my husbands Iphone 7 to try and have Apple repair the “gray out” problem that is common with the 7 due to a defect when they were made. I was told I had to pay $315 plus tax to have it fixed or purchase a new phone. I will not be purchasing another iPhone. As much money I have spent with apple and on apple products- I have to spend more just to get a problem caused by Apple fixed.

Above average...a B+. *Not sure what's going on with the bad reviews, maybe they just had poor planning. Made an appointment mid week for a Saturday noon time to check on my iPhone 6+ battery issue. Service was quick with no issues. They couldn't find anything wrong, but to prevent a future trip down here I decided to go ahead and get a new battery for $80. The only down part was it was going to be a 3hr wait. After 3hrs, I came back and found that they pretty much comp'd me for the battery. Instead of $80 + tax, I only was charged .87 cents. SCORE!!! I would give it 5 stars, but it was so damn crowded during a weekend and that's what caused the 3hr wait. But all the Apps peeps were very nice and polite when dealing with customers, as I was watching & listening during my wait time.

Finally get through to the store and they transfer me to Tom in repairs. Said phone part was replaced (entire phone) in CA. No idea when it will be shipped back. Tom said he would find out when and call me back. NEVER got a call (oh the shock--sarcasm) from these less than customer service part time geniuses. Still waiting. We are now at day 14 of the hostage situation. Please do not come to this location for service of ANY kind. More to come.

Inconsiderate service for walk-ins. Easily checked in, but the issue is that within ten minutes you are prompted via text that the specialist is ready to see you, which is grossly misrepresented. I was made to sit for over an hour on wooden stools with false statements that the eta would be in the next ten minutes or so! The discrepancy between 10 minutes and an hour is a bit much. Take my advice don’t walk-in. Total wait time ~90 minutes to see if they can or can’t fix your phone. In my case, within 5 minutes I was told they couldn’t do work on my phone after all that waiting. My advice to Apple would be that they should do the basic diagnostic to see if they can assist you (5min), Then have see if you’d like to wait. I do not recommend this location.

Desperately needed a phone today and a sales associate, Helen was an angel. She walked me through all the options for buying a new phone (the options other than dropping 1200$ on site) she didn’t give up and ultimately I walked out of the store with a new phone, helped me set it up and she was so polite and helpful and made the whole experience pleasant.

I went to this place today at 11:45am and I had a noon appointment but once I enter I was told to see the guy with IPAD so I waited behind a guy and he was told he had a 15min wait for a tech. So when he got me he told me it was a 45min wait for the Tech. I am not understanding this plus he stated why I wait I should go get something to eat.. WHAT.. I called on March 31st for this appointment and I came prepared to recieve service not to be told I have to wait 45min and to go eat while I wait for a text or email when a Tech is available. I lived an hour away I am very disappointed with the service here. I don't understand why my wait time would be more than 15min or while this Apple Store is so backup. What is the point of scheduling an appointment for a Tech or service rep. Nice store location but poor service

I came in yesterday to fix my phone. The problem with my Iphone X was that the touch was not responding fully. So i thought this was a defect and decided apple would take responsibility. However the worker that met with me was very arrogant and aggressive. (His name was Moathe or something like that.) He was very pressuring and made me feel stupid and that it was my fault. I guess he has a family member working with him there because whoever that guy was came over asking about a charger. They literally started fighting about how the charging process works. In front of not just me but the store itself. My experience there was horrible due to the lack of help. I would rather travel miles to another store than this one.

Everyone was kind and assisted me, however you go to the tech support expecting a better solution than restore or update your ipad, you dont need to be a genius to figure that out, i waited 1 hr to be told that exact statement, they should have a pre fast evaluation letting you know what the outcome will be and then it'll be your prerogative if you decide to wait or not.

Headphone jack messed up on iPhone 5. Got there 45 minutes before they opened and waited in line only to be told "it's an internal problem that can't be fixed and you'll have to buy another phone." That's an exact quote from the Apple representative. Not "we don't fix that component" or "we no longer have that part available for an iPhone 5." I looked at a couple of phones at the Apple Store then googled local phone repair shops. Had it fixed 45 minutes later for $41 at a local shop. Do they really need to lie to their customers to sell new phones?

Refuse to take walk-ins if they are after 6:30pm when they are open until 8pm. Horrible service and would not meet a customers need. It’s ashame the customer service is poor in such a nice area.

Had an appointment today for 4:45 PM Jan 13th heard from friend they had closed early even though I received no notification of this change. Called store and received recording of closure then called support to see what could be done. Re-sceduled for another 6 days from today - no priority re-schedule so I guess I will be waiting 2 weeks for another appointment even though cancellation was on Apple's side not mine.

I took my old iPhone 5 to this store because the battery is swollen to 2X the original size. I called Apple to find out what to do and they said to take it to the store. I also called the store to confirm. When I got there, it was extremely crowded and I was given a spot in line and was told I could shop for a bit until they got to me. I didn't want to have the phone in the car with me, much less walk around and shop with it. I don't ask for favors often but I don't think that I am out of line to expect to be placed at the front of their line in a situation like this. Shame on you Apple for selling a product that becomes potentially dangerous and then not helping protect your customers. We spend a lot of money and time on your products and deserve better than this.

I tried several times to speak with someone by phone at the store before making an hour drive to no avail. Made the drive and had 40 minutes before closing time. Guy welcomes us and asks what he can help us with, we explain and he tell us they were taking no more walk ins today. Horrible, wasted 2 hours of drive time for nothing. APPLE SHOULD IMPLEMENT AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE THAT STATES EXPECTED WALK IN CUTOFF TIMES FOR THE DAY TO ELIMINATE THE TRAVEL TIME LOSS.

Although they moved to West Street, I absolutely loved my experience. The guy fixed my phone with no problems. Had to reset all of my settings which was okay for me. As long as I could use my phone again. I was in & out with no problem. There was a guy who came after me who spoke with the guy that fixed my phone. The customer was soooo snobby & rude. The apple guy was cool & calm. At the end of the day the customer paid for the Apple guy to fix the phone. That example shows the vibe in the store.

just to let y'all apple users know that samsung is the maker of apple and all their apple devices and samsung is android we ask android user has making a phone that have an headphone jack, fingerprint reader under the oled screen and have face unlock that apple faile to have on the iphone x if you want to listen to music on iphone 7+ and your phone is dead you have to use a dongle to be able to continue your headphone and charge your phone then they remove the fingerprint reader on the iphone x and just add the face unlock that android come with first android is the first smartphone that was made dated back when nokia was made then the motorola razorback phone apple you still got a lot of catching up to do with android however if you continue to remove the headphone jack and fingerprint reader and then continue to focus everyone to upgrade their apple devices wear on android we can download app on any version wear apple only support devices running ios 10 or higher in the long run the apple ipad 2 2gen that have 32 pin charger yes there is still app for it however apple is planning on removing it in the long run sent the ios is stop at 9.3.5 and when i was trying to download the google voice it say that i have to be running on the ios 10 please update your ipad really apple you are force people to upgrade

Went in to have my sons computer fixed....told to wait in line...get to rep...told to make appointment...come back at appointment time...wait an hour and a half...get seen...told it would be ready in the morning...come back to be told it's not ready...after 24 hours it has been fixed.

purchased a Mac Book pro 2 weeks later the screen shows a glitch every-time it's opened took it for a repair 3 times 4th time I had to record the issue for them to believe me. 5th time going here about the same issue I finally get a new one after waiting 1:30 hr the tech advised me that i received a better quad processor I asked how many GHz he said it's a better quad processor and said sign here is there anything else I can help i was rushing so I left since I had elsewhere to be when I arrived home I opened the laptop it doesn't even have the touch bar I get in my email check the paperwork the new mac book that I received had a slower processor than what I had originally purchased I have a 1,300 computer from the 1,800 that I had purchased i will be making another trip...

Visited this Apple store today to see if they could fix facial recognition on my IPhone X. After speaking with Chris, we told me that the reason it wasn’t working is because the small crack on my phone. Which I informed him that the screen was cracked June 2018 and that facial ID just started messing up. He assured me that was the problem and that it would cost me $279.99 to replace my device and get facial ID back working. I politely declined the service. Once I got back to work, I got on YouTube to see if they would do a better job at helping me than the actual Apple Store did. And of course, they did. It was as simple as going into settings, resetting facial ID, and setting it right back up. Thanks YouTube. It’s a shame how Apple just tried to make that much money off me for something that was as simple as a reset. I’ll NEVER visit this Apple store again.

I love Apple. My family has more than one if most of their devices in our household. But, the local in store support needs help at the Saddle Creek location. I came last night to pick up my wife’s laptop that was being repaired. I waiting for 20 min before getting it. Once we opened it, I noticed a crack in the screen which wasn’t there before. So, we had to leave as they promised to have it fixed the next day. I’ve been here now for 20 minutes and I’m still waiting. However, as I look around the store, I see multiple employees that aren’t with customers. In fact, there’s 2 groups of 3 employees just huddle up chatting. No customers with any of them. The optics aren’t good at all. I’d rather see them fake it.

We wanted to ask a question but instead the employees got mad at us for touching the watches, when a lot of people were touching them! We just need help with an apple id with 20+ employees and 10 just standing around looking at us and talking we were ignored for over 10 minutes. So we left. The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. They helped fix my phone without any issues and the employees explain everything very well without making you feel incompetent. The wait was a little long but that is to be expected with all of the traffic they get on the weekends and depends on the issues that customers come in with. We will definitely return to this location.

Horrible customer service. My wife drove almost 2 hours to get our iPhone 6 batteries replaced. Both of our phones became almost unusably slow after the most recent i0s update. We waited 3 weeks for our batteries to arrive even though Apple said it would only take one week. They replaced hers but would not replace mine stating that it had internal water damage and that replacing it could put the technician in danger of physical harm. My phone has never been submerged in water. I had her drive back before she left town so that I could talk to a customer service rep on the phone. His name was Kevin but he might as well have been Siri. He just gave me the company lines and would not deviate from scripted responses. He offered no solution for me other than to buy a new phone. I have spent thousands of dollars on Apple products but I will never buy an iPhone or any Apple product EVER again. I wish that I could take a sledgehammer to my new MacBook Pro but I can't afford to so I will just sell it and get something cheaper since it's clearly not going to be backed by the manufacturer.

Initially I was taken aback by entering the store. It was like the Wall Street of Memphis but filled with organized chaos. A smiling face, I think Whitney, with short curly hair greeted me. Then a guy with a small build and dark beard nabbed me. Then I met Hayden. He could be an Avenger. His power? The ability to fix everything tech and then some...Captain Apple, of course. But Seriously, He made my experience at Apple seamless and flawless. I had so much apprehension that melted away as he assisted me. At each individual step he told me what he was doing... the anticipated outcome and what he would do next as a result of the aforementioned...then my different options afterwards. Throughout the entire process, we engaged in humorous yet light conversation to keep things from being bland and then after like several minutes of my battery not charging, we gave my phone over to the technology gods for burial. Upon receiving my replacement, he walked me through the cloud thing and helped me with restoration of apps and info. He led me to a cube as my phone did it’s restoration and checked on me twice. The final time he checked on me, he explained that he was going to lunch and showed me two other people who could assist me if I needed help. This was probably the best customer service I’ve seen or experienced in my adulthood.

I have an Apple Watch, MacBook Air and an iPhone, so needless to say that I love all things Apple. This review is for the store itself and not the products. I went into the store today to purchase (not to consider) a battery case for my phone and walked out after waiting for twenty minutes. The store was quite full, but this is a given with Apple stores. Therefore, they need to staff appropriately. They also need to identify ways to ensure that their customers are acknowledged while waiting. I went to a total of two agents at varying times to tell them what I needed and to ask for help. Each time, I was told to go wait at the back wall. As stated earlier, 20 minutes later I grew tired of waiting and not being acknowledged so I left.
