Went to look for a specific person about a job that told me to be there at 9am but I wasn’t aware that the store didn’t open until 10am. So I told one of the gentleman that I saw in the store who I was looking for and I couldn’t really hear what they were saying because for one he was so far away from the door to where I couldn’t understand him because they didn’t want to walk to the door and tell me politely. One of the gentleman was yelling at me inappropriate and finally the first gentleman walked to the window he basically brushed me off because he didn’t know what I was talking about. To describe how the two men looked, one was a dark complexion male with glasses and dreads the one that was doing the screaming at me from the back has a light complexion with a low haircut. They both were very unprofessional and it was my first time ever coming to that store. I will not come back again and I have an iPhone...

Of course, my post was deleted! Worst service Ever! But from Amazon! Poor customer service with a sales person who shook everyone's hand, but mine. I guess white people don't deserve the same service. Also, I did not get my Apple Watch docking station due to being pushed to the side and another female being waited on! Finally I just walked out!

Chris Webb

Awful customer service. Drove there over an hour for nothing

Frankie Stubbs

THE WORST SERVICE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I WILL CONSIDER AN ANDROID THE NEXT PHONE PURCHASE....

Justin Jernigan

possibly the worst apple store in america

Sara Berry-Lee

One of the best apple store experiences I have had. They did everything to try and find the cheapest option to repair my computer. Although my hard drive had to be replaced they explained every option I had to retrieve my old data. Yes, it takes a long but its the Apple Store and if you have an appointment it is fast. They were very friendly and accommodating, beyond pleased with my experience.

Lru

Very good service, yes there is alot of wait time but the helpful salesperson told us that there's a 1000 ppl thru the doors every day! It's a very busy place!!

Chase Patrizzi

Watched several people walk out of the store do to bad customer service. You would have better luck with Amazon or just going to BestBuy.

Aaron Canada

Thw worst the staff is very rude and incompetent when we called yesterday to make the appointment they said the i phone 6 we bought 6 months agi was underwarrenty but when we went to the store. They tried saying it was not and would not replace the phone

ashley clay

Great store, great customer service!!!!!! made an appointment for cracked screen..and my phone was ready before the follow up time!..⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nancy Newton

We waited for 44 min. To buy a new iPad. We were told someone would be with us 3 times. No one ever came. We walked out.

Nita Waits

Pretty Good Resheika is back to normal now she had get a new phone her wasn't working anymore haven't been since Tuesday so you know she was about to go crazy cause you have to make an appt so it was today at 2:45pm

Afnan Beauti

Impossible to get on the phone. Very bad communication. My iphone 10xs max has been sitting there and I cant get a hold of this store due to a constant busy tone. No one from Apple can get in touch with the Renaissance store either.

Keith Shelley

Everything in all the business in the area is just too high. It's a wonder any of them stays in business.

Lisa Hobson

Everyone was helpful and friendly. They are organized and timely with the appointments.

Chris Landis

Very clean and neat organized door there was a a little weight but they were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable on all Apple products so I was very happy hello

They've got what you need and really want to help you with it...if you can wait right over there.

World Traveller

They assisted me within minutes without an appointment. The replacement was handled without any problems.

Emary Smith

I was a walk in one day and they was full on the schedule so I was on the waiting list for like a hour and a half to get my phone fixed which was a biggy at all cause the guy that worked with me was really nice. Helped me set my phone up even tho Ian want to be just took liberty to do so Thanks btw. Super cool calm place. I like playing with the new updates there before I update my own phone. And they don’t be down your back.

Ralph Fields

Excellent Service.

Matthew Henry

Every experience here has been positive. Be sure to make a Genius appointment before you go.

Jenny Nguyen

My husband and I came today to purchase a new phone. They were supposed to have an event for the new iphone. But all 10 associates were hanging out behind a counter. I made several eye contacts with them but no one cared to come help us. We ended up walking out because we didn’t know if the store was still open?! There are other customers standing around without help either. Where is the manager? Stop holding the cloths and wiping your products and actually make some sales.

Jacky Z

I was trying to buy a case for my iPhone, and when I asked a specialist help me check out, she send me to another guy, she wasn't busy on that time, and was playing her phone. Next time I will chose online instead. They feel "good" and "proud" because they are the only one Apple Store in MS.

Mason Mastroianni

As the only apple store serving Jackson, they get the job done. It could be a bit larger; there seems to always be an unnecessary wait time (even by apple store standards.) great staff.

Jody Dude that knows a dude

Always cool

De'Marco Riggins

i went to apple it was clen but i didn't like how everyone where saying that there were to busy to help me out so I went to it again and they wanted to help me out them P.S.- i wen't with my cousing for dancing dolls

John Lawrence

This place is great. If you are not a geek, it can be a little scary. The sales reps are themselves geeks, and they are professional and courteous. Very knowledgeable about the different devices, programs, and plans.

Jordan Fryoux

I have a known iPhone 7 problem which developed out of town. The Georgetown Apple store was fantastic, fixed my phone, told me to return if the problem developed again because my issue was covered outside the warranty. It recurred. However, it was intermittent and of course worked by the time of my appointment. The Genius Bar associate in Jackson was less than helpful and could not of cared less about my problem. She started off by interrupting me to tell me the phone is out of warranty. Then simply told me they could not do anything about it until it broke again. I wasted my time and, since it broke again, have to make time for a second appointment. Poor service is how Apple loses it’s foothold in the market

william stimac

Run by a bunch of punk kids who treat you like an idiot when you ask them to explain anything.

Melinda Harvey

I sure hope my appointment at Apple goes a lot better than the phone call to make an appointment! Extremely loud in her background and she complained that she couldn’t hear me???

Erica Williams- Thomas

Definitely shopping here in the future. Very knowledgeable staff.

Paige Edwards

I would rate this store in the negatives, if allowed to do so. EVERY low-rating comment on here is 100% true. There's too much going on. By walking in the store, you'd think the service was great, because of all of the employees and how fast they're moving. Turns out, they're moving fast and walking with their heads down, because they don't want to be bothered. When I made it in, I was sent to the back of the store. I'd set an appointment online, but that didn't seem to matter. I had to ask three employees if someone could help me, and all of them were rude. One lady's response was, "did you have an appointment?" I waited for 25 minutes, before getting helped, only for them to say, "we don't sell that battery here anymore." On top of that, the employees could care less of who's around to hear their conversations. The two sitting by me, pretending to be busy, had the nerve to complain about not getting a break! This was at 11:30AM! Apple's online customer service is grand, but this store's customer service makes me regret being an Apple customer. I've never thought about switching to a Samsung phone, until today. Terrible.

Barbs

Scheduled an appointment with a customer service rep online for the Ridgeland store to solve a problem with my Apple watch. When I arrived for my appointment, a employee at store said she couldn't find my name for an appointment . I showed her confirmation e-mail from Apple confirming appointment , but we were told the Apple Rep must have forgotten to document it. How could that be when I was given confirmation??? I was told that I needed to make another appointment or wait in line for an opening. I drove two hours to be there and felt as if my time wasn't valuable. Another employee there heard conversation and came over to help. Store needs to pay more attention to how the customers are being treated .

Daniel Winchell

Very helpful.

Dylan Gibson

Worst apple store I have been to. I usually enjoy going to different apps store, but the customer service and professionalism was awful.

Alonzo Campbell

Lackluster customer service starting from the moment of greeting. I came in for questions regarding price matching and was told I would have to wait In queue. 30 minutes later and still no one attempting to help me. So instead I ended up returning the watch and going up the street to Best Buy to save $100 bucks. I don't get it, it's not like they're paid commission, so why pick over me? I will seriously rethink making any major purchases here.

Nupur Brahmbhatt

I went in to this Apple Store multiple times complaining of the same software issue and they sent me home every time. Until a few months after my warranty was over, my phone died of the exact same reason before and I asked them if they could fix it. They said no because its out of warranty. They said the phone is dead without even an explanation and my only option was to pay for another phone. In disbelief, I went home and googled solutions to my phone issue. Plugged the damn thing into my laptop. And it worked just fine. I almost paid $400 for the same exact phone. This Apple Store has by far the most incompetent staff members I have ever worked with. They don't even try to help you with your issues. So, when the staff at the Madison Apple Store tell you your Apple product is beyond repair, don't listen to them. Don't waste your money.

Trent Boone

drove an hour to store only for rep to be very short and rude. ended up on tech support by phone which was very helpful. hope to never have to visit that store again

Milda Watkins

very busy too few uneducated employees. Had to make appointment to come back in a hr and wait an hour for help. Do better apple!

Jonathan Strehlow

You would think a company based on cutting edge technology could have a system that lets people know that they have to wait 8 hours to see someone when the "genius" holding the iPad by the door says 1-2 hours. These stores are a joke. Meanwhile, my iPhone with a known defect is still waiting for service.

Ty Lewis

Best toys! Very helpful staff!

Enebeli Kanonu

I purchased a 2010 Macbook Air from my company last year which came with Apple Care thru August 2014. Fast-forward to last month...my Air screen started to go out and it was determined that the logic board was the issue. Needless to say, they changed it twice and it did not remedy the problem. Disgusted, I went into the store and demanded the manager and explained the issue. The manager was great (Brandon Slay). He acknowledged they replaced everything on the Air and gave me a new one on the spot...I know people give these guys a hard time and bad rating; however, they are doing their full due diligence before they can issue a new computer...I really appreciate the personal care received by the whole Apple team...kudos

Derek Carroll

Worst place on the planet, who do they think they are? Waited in line for them to open after I was told I couldn’t make a reservation to fix a broken screen. Finally opens and they come out and say they could get to me in 45 min. I would recommend going somewhere else but that’s the problem all apple stores are terrible I hope someone comes up with a better phone I’ll buy it in a heart beat.

Misty Bailey

Went to look at Mac Books for our daughter at 7:40pm (store closes at 9:00pm) on a Saturday night and was told by one of their fine customer service personnel to not touch them because they had just been cleaned. IF I buy an Apple computer at this point it will not be from this Apple Store.

Douglas Stewart

I’m still trying to figure out which is worse - dropping off your phone at Apple for a repair or the DMV. There is no way to prearrange a drop off. You can schedule a time, but the check in process can take over 30 minutes. I’ve been here 45 so far just waiting to hand off my phone. If you previously have had to have your phone replaced, they do not track your records to the new serial number. Second consecutive experience like this. The experience having to get a repair done with Apple is so bad I really don’t know if having an Apple device is worth it anymore.

Amir Atapour

Because it’s the only apple store in this region they don’t care costumer services!

Tracey B

Please don’t waste your time going to this Apple store. Everyone there seems to be incompetent. If your not there to buy a new phone, they don’t want to see you because they work from commission. I wish I could’ve given this store zero stars

Rotten Apple Customer Service! A recent visit to my local Apple Store to get my son’s older MacBook Pro repaired and a new battery installed was a Customer Service Nightmare. This misadventure started out with me trying to simply make a phone call to the store regarding repair. Apparently, you cannot simply call the store. You end up being transferred to a centralized national phone phone bank where you have to wonder through a computerized network of choices. Then, you have to wait for up to 20 minutes to speak with a human being. All the while, incessant music was playing even though I had the choice for silence. I was told I had to make an appointment at the “Genius Bar”. This seems somewhat of a ordeal just to get a battery change. I asked if there was another option and was told that I could go into the store and drop off the computer but would have to wait behind those that have appointments. Since I was not in a hurry to get the repair completed, I went into the store later in the evening approximately 20 minutes prior to the store closing In order to drop off the computer. When I spoke to the gentleman at the front of the store, I was informed that the “geniuses” were no longer checking and computers for repair and they stopped approximately 25 to 30 minutes before the store closed. Apparently it takes a “genius” with an iPad quite a while to write down a serial number and phone contact to change the battery. After driving 20 minutes to get to the store, I was told that I could make an appointment to bring the computer back two days later and drop it off for repair. As a business owner, if I saw my employees more concerned about punching the clock and going home and taking care of customers in the store, they would be staying home because they would be fired. Apple has apparently monopolize the repair service in this region so that there are no other service options beyond the “Genius Bar”. Customers are forced to deal with this sort of nonsense for any sort of repair or service. The company, or at least this particular store, apparently feels that they are in such demand that they can provide shoddy customer service and it will not affect their bottom line. Even with a big Apple smile, bad service and refusal to meet customers trying to patronize the store, is still bad customer service. Bad customer service from front-line employees, especially multiple front-line employees, usually reflects poor management. At this point, even the big-box electronics stores get better customer service that this particular Apple Store. Additionally, the technology that Apple offers to consumers is no longer white as head and shoulders above the competition as it once was. Other Windows-based technology such as Samsung have made great strides over the last few years. These systems have, to a great extent, caught up in regards to both technology and reliability, at a significantly lower price, and with far greater options for service and repair. After buying 11 Mac computers, six iPads, over 10 iPhones, and multiple Apple watches, I’m afraid it’s time to move on to a company that still has respect and appreciation for its customers. Although an iPhone, MacBook, or iPad once represented far superior technology as well as being somewhat of a status symbol, at this point they are just another gadget. Apple technology is still good but it is not so good that the company can abuse its customers without any concern of negative consequences in the modern marketplace. Although a call into the main Apple corporate contact number took another 20 to 25 minutes to reach a human being and another few minutes to speak with a customer relations manager, they were quite polite. I’m cautiously hopeful that someone a little higher up in the Apple tree may understand customer service better than the employees at the local Apple Store. It does not take an “Apple genius” to understand that if you treat your customers poorly they stopped coming to your store. Maybe the apples are only rotten in Mississippi.

Not sure why the bad reviews, maybe there was an employee turnover? Just went there tonight; Kenny and Tim were excellent! Walked in and was immediately greeted and had someone helping me. The place was packed too! They promptly got me setup with my purchase in a friendly manner and I was able to leave in maybe 15 mins.

Jules Michel

No matter what time you go in you wait 30 minutes to an hour. If they are that busy then enlarge store and add staff. They seem to pass you off to other personnel. I have only had one good experience there. I have purchased a Mac book, two iPads and four iPhones but the service is still like a cattle auction. I am I retail sales and I know service is many times more important than product.

Micah Carver

They need more technical able employees. Wait is entirely too long. They can't even help when you are locked out of your apple ID in store. I even have the receipt, DL, to prove ut's me. Steve Jobs would not be happy with this

Casey Mitchell

The reason there are so many one star reviews is because from the minute you walk through the door you can tell no one working there cares about the store or it’s reputation, much less helping the customer resolve Apple induced issues. My wife ad I drove 3 hrs to get to the store to try and resolve the Apple update battery destroying issue that we didn’t cause before we leave the country tomorrow morning. The person at the door informs us as soon as we walk in that even though the store is open for another hour or so, they are not helping anyone else tonight. Despite the fact that no less than 10 red shirt employees in the store are standing around talking to each other with little to do. We went ahead and talked to someone in the store to learn that they don’t have any batteries anyway. The guy helping at this point mentioned a diagnostic to see if the battery was bad so I had to ask if he could do that at least. He did. The battery is borderline. I explained our situation with a faulty phone prior to an out of the country trip and the need for a working phone, to which I got a basically ‘oh well’ response and a suggestion to restore it and see what happens when you get home and no longer have any options. I font typically leave reviews at all but in this case the store oozed “we don’t care” from every pore. Due to an update, Apple and due to not caring, the Apple Store in Madison, MS has left us heading to another country without a dependable cell. Hopefully we don’t get separated in a foreign country. If these people worked for me, they would all be looking for somewhere else to work.

Bobby Stults

Wonderful customer service! Excellent results and knowledgable staff!

Alexandra Bruce

Wonderful experience! My MacBook Air would not turn on... it was dead. Lawrence and Lebron were immensely helpful and really made things easy. It is never fun to have to replace your laptop, but everyone at the store walked me through my options and gave me the most affordable possibilities. Only a few days later and have a new computer with all of my old information on it. Thanks!

Roberta Willis

Very friendly associates and the service was wonderful.

Quint Hunt

My experience today at the Apple Store in Ridgeland, MS was absolutely terrible. I could tell, from the moment I got there, that the Genius Bar was all about ‘herding the cattle’ through as fast as possible. When my assigned ‘genius’ walked over (after having a conversation about who was going to help who so someone could go on break) she starts by saying, “whatcha got?” After getting over my initial confusion as to why she didn’t introduce herself or try to be the least bit friendly and/or hospitable, I went into my issue with my phone. She quickly and rudely dismissed my camera issue as a ‘software problem’ and I had to demand to have the diagnostic run. But even before that she kept rattling on several times about how there was nothing they could do and that I needed to speak with the engineers. I finally had to ask what she meant by that. Were they hiding in the back? She finally mumbled the number to call. I could tell the interaction was going nowhere. So, after asking if we were done, I walked out. When I got in my car, my phone was still connected and in diagnostic mode. She hadn’t even bothered to tell me to cancel the connection. Completely done with this store. Apple on the retail level (at least in Ridgeland, MS) has hit rock-bottom in my opinion.

Rhett O'Neill

Friendly staff. I was in and helped within a matter of minutes.

Samantha Cain

CSR's everywhere, but no one can help. I waited over an hour after my appt. time, only to be told they couldn't fix my issue (no service issue with A1660 which Apple is fixing for free) and I just needed to buy a new phone. I called Apple today and they are mailing me a box and fixing the issue at no charge.

Dian Payne

"Great service" The staff was very knowledgeable, and sensitive to my individual needs, I got what I went for, they were very time efficient and super courteous. Love that! store.✌

M Tallent

Was in town from hours away, only option to fix my computer was to wait 3 hours or come back and drive another 6 hours to get there. They could not help me, said I had to call apple to set up help...could have been more helpful and accommodating given the distance traveled. Customer service rep did not care, and was fairly rude about the options.

Joyce W. Coleman

I need a ride.... I would call an uber, but I'm going to Apple because my phone is broke.

Kelli Phillips

Terrible customer service. The people are not friendly or helpful. If I didn't have to have an iPhone, I would seriously just switch so I don't have to go here when there's a problem.

Steven Prescott

I love Apple Stores, and this one was a lot smaller than the one I usually visit. It was raining hard and the doors were still open and you could see in(AWESOME). It's a great neighborhood(typical Apple), right beside C Spire and Butler Snow's corp headquarters in an upper class shopping district. It's always expensive, but the reps were nice.

Theresia Redaelli

Just had a terrible experience at @Apple in Ridgeland, Ms. pre-ordered iPhone, got an email about recycling my old phone in store. Went to do exactly that, they wouldn't do it told me to mail it in. Sales person Who claimed his name was Don Johnson was very condescending and refused to tell me who the manager was. I really felt he treated me this way bc I am female. Kept asking if I was sure I understood. Left extremely upset with no resolution. Was at @Walmart before that and their customer service was exceptional. Seriously @Apple ...you pride yourselves in exceptional customer service and I got exactly the opposite. Won't be going there again.

Jennifer Bryan

Had to go to get my husband's phone worked on for the second time for a phone that is 8 months old. If this company cared about their reputation, they would clean house. The first time we came, an employee was discussing "vaginal rejuvenation" with customers. Next visit, (with appointment) waited, then were just rude. This appointment, rude again

Father Firefighter

Terrible service from beginning to end.

joe blow

Good luck getting help.

DL Govan

You have to have an appointment to be seen. The wait time is long.

Mac West

Nice to have an Apple store so close to home. Always busy but that is a great thing. I enjoy getting to stop by and see the latest and greatest demos and products being put on display

Chris Groat

I’ve never had a bad experience here. The staff are all extremely kind and helpful. I’ve taken a couple phones to get the screen repaired and they’ve always been quick and efficient.

Charlotte Slater

I when to Barnes&Noble to try to find three certain books. The service was excellent. Two different ladies helped me find all my books. Can't say enough good things about my experience. 5 stars!

MS. SWIFT

Always buying something new

Anne AnneJ

Renaissance at Colony Park Apple Store is a very poorly managed and trained store! There seem to be loads of employees, but MANY are not properly trained. They stand around joking, visiting with each other, and socializing far too long. On a recent visit, for which I had an appointment, it took over an hour to get to me. The genius bar has very few geniuses except for Jessie!! It took 3 agents to finally come up with what they thought was a solution. Alas, it wasn't the answer. Training sessions are a joke! Yes, I'm glad to have an Apple Store here in our area, but there needs to be some MAJOR demoting, hiring, and training. I would start with a new manager if I were the regional manager. I have been in 3 Apple stores while in other cities and this isn't the case in those.

David Spring

On 4/15/2015 I was there over 2 hours and was never seen. They told me there were 11 ahead of me. over 2 hours later there were still 5 ahead of me. I had to leave for another appointment so I still have an unresolved issue. Clearly this is not acceptable.

Will scott

I’m not sure if the problem is with the apple store or the corporation Apple itself, but my daughter recently downloaded the latest software update from Apple and it crashed her phone. She immediately took the phone to the Apple store and was told that they had heard of other incidents of people’s iPhones crashing and that there was nothing they could do to help. The problem with that story is her phone is perfect, she keeps it in a case, it’s not cracked and is not damaged in any shape, form or fashion. As a parent I find it hard to believe that there is nothing that can be done to repair or replace a software issue caused by updating your phone the way the manufacturer suggests that it should be done.

bella

it takes a while to get assistance, but there’s plenty around to keep you busy while you wait

Shelby Young

The wait time to get any sort of assistance is inexcusably long. There were 5+ “greeters” at the front of the store both times I went in that apparently are only able to send you to another person who also can’t help you with your problem. Communication was terrible both between them and me and amongst themselves. This is the closest apple store to me (2.5hrs), and I plan on never stepping foot in it again.

Arthur Hayes III

nice store

Zekeithia Warnsley

They are very helpful

Mo Jamila

Customer service is terrible. They brush you off unless you're there to buy something! Took a whole hour just to greet me then another 30min to get me situated with an employee for a phone repair. My next phone will be Samsung no doubt

Kevin Howard

Mixed reaction to service. Had numerous staff just standing around chatting, but no one could help without an appt. Had an appt. but couldn't get help immediately. Came back for appt. on time and had to wait about 10-15 min. before someone got to us. Nico, was very helpful and was very customer friendly. So, some bad and some good regarding visit.

Crave Ree

They really didn’t help me at all

Laura Parks

Phone died and wouldn't restart all day. Waited 30 minutes on hold to get an a Genius Bar appointment 4 days later. Was told to go to Best Buy for sooner help. Went to BB where I was told they can't fix battery issues. After waiting 4 days for Genius Bar appointment, I checked in early for a 5:45 appointment but wasn't helped until after 7:00 (despite checking in twice more). Received less than 10 minutes of help, stating they couldn't fix the phone until battery completely died. What happened to Apple service? Why couldn't they tell me on the phone that neither Best Buy nor Apple can actually fix a dying phone?

rick pad

Made reservation online for two phone to have battery replaced. Received two email with two different case ID. Said only can take one because Apple had a glitch on making an appointment. Drove two hour for the appointment.

Cindy Wiggins

Very rude, appeared as if they were going to help me but once they obtained my information and found out that I couldn’t afford the costs of their services they instantly brushed me off. Didn’t even care that my phone still had Apple Care. It’s like if you can’t spend the required money that they want you to spend, you’re not important. I’m the one that should be upset waiting an hour when I had an appointment while they played around and talked with each other.

LaNica Holifield

If I could give a zero, I most definitely would. The customer service at this location is the most atrocious and demeaning I’ve ever encountered. I have not went to this store, NOT ONE TIME, and received at least half decent service. I am forced to frequent this particular store because there is not another Apple store in the surrounding area. The customer service is not geared towards people of non European decent. This store does have a variety of ethnicities with the employees, but customer service is geared towards European customers. The employees faces turn upside down when a person of color enters the store. The greetings are different when acknowledging their customer. I pray that a corporate executive reads at least one of the reviews that I will be posting on today because this Apple store is in need of BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING!

Lexi C.

I had a great experience in-store today. All employees greeted myself and my sister. Offered us seats. Everyone was professional in my opinion, I work with the public so I understand how it can be. The rep that helped me I cannot remember his name(sorry). I went in because two iPhones that were purchased less than four months ago were both having sound issues/charging, the rep that helped us was super nice and he worked to find out what was wrong with our phones. He was very nice and polite. Replaced one with a new device and the other was fixed on the spot at no charge. I didn't rate five stars only bc I wasn't sure what to do with my repair ticket, as I don't recall it being explained. Other than that this is a great store to shop.

Dragon Wizzard

Was told on the phone that a new apple watch payment plan could be added to my current ATT bill just like at the ATT store. wasted an hour driving there only to be told that was not the case. Would have to purchase it outright to get it. Went to my local ATT store to purchase it instead.

The store has terrible service first off to get that out the way, my first time in was because my I phone 6 shut off ....I’m sure it was a battery issue because it was acting up for months....I went in to get it fixed they only tried to sell me on an upgraded....the salesman sold me the I phone 7 Plus, which I was fine with but after a week or so the phone price dropped by $200 ....I’m guessing because of the new releases of iPhones ...I thought it would be simple to get the price changed to reflected the new lower price but was given the run around and told to go At&t and then they sent me back to Apple and back and forth ...both having a number of excuses why they couldn’t change the price that was dropped within the last 14 days.....now fast forward to yesterday I go the store to get a battery put in my old iPhone 6 and get told that it couldn’t be put in because the phone wouldn’t turn on, that I can’t buy a battery and have it put in if I’m paying for it....even after saying I would take the risk of wasting $40 still I am told it’s not possible.....I have my suspicions of why this was but either way I wouldn’t believe anything they tell you....once I’m done paying off this over priced iPhone 7 Plus I will be moving on to Samsung ....getting cheated is one thing but lied to is completely unacceptable

First of all, let me just say that this isn't a review about Apple products. This is a review about Apple customer service, particularly at this store. If you go into this store, you'll notice it's always busy. I get it; Apple is a popular brand. Just don't expect a visit to be quick... Unless you are leaving upset. I have an iPod that has a cracked LCD screen. I went into the store the first time to see how much it would be to fix it. The guy in charge of scheduling said I needed to call the help line to find that out. I did. And after spending a bit of time on the phone, the guy on the phone said that I'd need to make an appointment in the store for that. I tried calling the store to make an appointment but was kept on hold for 20 minutes before I got frustrated and hung up. I ended up going to the store, talking to the same scheduling guy, and making an appointment later on in the week. So, I'm back for the third time and am sitting at the table for five minutes when they told me the cost of buying a new iPod. Wait. I asked about repairing my iPod. They don't do that. I think that's something they could've told me on the FIRST visit.

This place is over rated. People there smell their own farts...

Lynn Stamper

Very busy place. The staff is wonderful.

Donna Lyon

Miserable wait after coming early to be told over a 5-hour wait for walk-ins. Got on list, told I'd be texted as soon as my appointment came up, and drove an hour back to work. Came back and found that I'm now going to wait for another two hours! I would think a tech company would be capable of better text updates. Found out that I was supposed to be told it would be a series of texts. Ugh. We'll see how it goes with a "genius". And I'll post that as well. Customer service is NOT a priority with this company.

Marion Brady

Nice area, lots of places to shop and sit outside to enjoy the weather

Will Luke

Great service. The wait wasn’t long at all.

I live in Meridian, Mississippi and I am in the military. My husband uses AT&T and has an IPhone. The AT&T store in meridian sent my husband to the apple store not once but 3 times. My husband went back and fourth and the apple store said it was a soft ware problem. That if his phone didnt work after all of that, that he should call apple care and they will finally replace a phone that will not freaking work. I am on a training for the military out of town. I'm away from my family and have a 15 month old daughter. I would love to be able to talk to her. Plus, it is hard for me to do anything if something goes wrong back home. My father has cancer and my Mother is ill. I needed him to have a phone just so I can know about them. What if there is an emergency? I am highly dissatisfied and I am making sure that everyone knows how badly they treat military families. I am also making sure that my husband quits using apple products and ends his service with AT&T. What is the point of paying for insurance, when you can't even get the service or help when you need it.

I went over today to fix my Mac. We arrive at 3:30pm to set an appointment and they told us to wait for 3 text messages to come back. By 5pm I only receive 1 text, so I went back to the store to ask for at least an approximate time so that I would know if I should run errands first and come back if it's still going to take a while. The same man told me that they can't tell me the time of my appointment, it might be an hour or a couple of hours, and told me to just wait for the second text. So I headed out again and waited at Barnes and nobles. Up until 7pm I still did not receive the second text so I headed back and asked for the time of my appointment again. This time they finally told me that my appointment was at 8pm, so I could run my errands first and head back at 8pm. I drove away to sam's club and 20 minutes later at 7:20pm instead of 8pm, they texted me to come back for my appointment. So I had to drive all the way back from sam's club so that i wouldn't be late for my reservation. Honestly I've never received such horrible Customer service thus far with Apple. I'm visiting from Florida and I've never waited for 4 hours just to get my things fixed up. I honestly think that the man who was specifically helping me was just too lazy to pull my name up in the system to check the time of my appointment. He just wasted 4 hours of my time today. I don't think its fair to say that all employees here are like that, but he definitely did not seem to care about the customers and expected me to just wait around for a couple of hours for my reservation. I wouldn't recommend fixing my things here, but since it is the only Apple store in Jackson, MS we don't really have a choice.

My Apple Care plan was supposed to cover the damage of my hard drive in my 1 year old Macbook Air. I was told that none of my files could be saved. When I asked what could have caused the damage, I was told "sometimes it just happens". I was sent a bill for over $400 which showed that my apple care plan covered the cost. I was told I would be contacted in five days to pick up my fixed laptop. On DAY 5 , a representative contacted me and told me that they JUST opened up my laptop and found a clear liquid inside. I was told that since I was resposible for the liquid, my contract was no longer in effect and for $755.00 plus tax, they would ship it back to headquarters and replace everything that was damaged (because apparently the liquid damaged more than the hard drive).I took very good care of this laptop in the year I had it, and I told them there was no way a liquid could have gotten inside, but the representative assured me that it was there. I decided that at the price they were asking, I should just invest in a new laptop. I picked up my damaged laptop from the store and ordered a new one from online because I am a college student and I had already been without a laptop for two weeks since it stopped working. I took my old laptop to another computer shop to see if they would fix it for a better price. I was told that NO LIQUID WAS FOUND and that just my HARD DRIVE was damaged. This is UNACCEPTABLE. Not only did the employees at this Apple store fail to examine my laptop in a timely manner, but they told me FALSE information, which led to additional expenses. I am very dissappointed!

I have learn to set up an appointment before I just come over here. Waiting time can be crazy if you walk in!!

My wife purchased a protective case from Apple with a one year warranty. She brought it in to be exchanged because it was failing due to a manufacturing defect. The store manager refused. She spent $50 on a new case that should have been covered under warranty. We won't be going back to this store. Corporate should step in to fix the subpar customer service.

Janiece Mobley

great service but I must say schedule you an APPOINTMENT before going because I got off work @530 I didn't get seen until 7:00 and I didn't get my new phone until 9:00 which is closing time so I would definitely recommend a appointment before going but overall they all work expeditiously to handle all customers even those who didn't have a appointment

Landon Measells

What happened to this place?? They used to be decent but now everyone avoids it like the plague. I've been twice and had to resort to calling the corporate office instead.

Carol Horne

Extremely efficient. Pleasant experience, everyone is helpful and nice.

Nicole Griffin

This store is HORRIBLE!! Customer service is a joke. The staff is very rude.

Dominic Vrana

Try to make most of my purchases online. Used to be a fantastic store to go into and outstanding customer service. It is not the same any longer. They do have to service an overwhelming amount of people, but it seems quite unorganized and wait time is just bazar for even small purchases. Noticeable lack of experience among the employees as well does not make me want to go into that store much either.

Khaled Amra

The service was seriously so bad that i no longer buy Apple products. Could not say enough about it.

KC Colquitt

This is by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had in my life. I purchased a new MacBook Pro online and had it shipped to this store. I wanted a data migration done, so I called Apple to make an appointment. They told me this store did not book appointments but to just come in and they would help me complete the process. Instead, they handed me my laptop and told me they could not help me until the next morning. Since I live far away, I got a hotel room and came back the next morning. I waited in line (in the rain) to get into the store for about an hour. Once I got inside, they said a data migration would take 72 hours...absolute fail Apple. This store has careless employees and no organization. If you are able, drive to the store in Birmingham instead. It’s a shame there’s no way to give 0 stars.

Angea Fulham

Like the shops. Fresh market has great food. Haven't experienced it yet but I will on the next visit.

the manager here is a disgrace, he literally took my ipencil, stuck it in his nose and snapped it in half while it was still in his nostril

Yulonda Hunley

I went to the Apple Store Monday, November 5th, 2018 expecting to receive cash for my undamaged phones. The young lady who walked up to assist had very poor customer service skills. I explained to her about what I thought I could do based on information that I received over the phone from APPLE. The information was incorrect or clearly there was a misunderstanding. However, instead of the young lady politely explaining to me what Apple can and can not do or me, she had the audacity to ask me "who does that?" I am a customer service PROFESSIONAL at my job. You do not use sarcasm with the public. You are to assist and inform your customers to the best of your ability, leaving them with their dignity regardless of if they received what they WANTED or NOT. I feel that Apple's employees need customer service and etiquette training when coming into direct contact with the public.

TOOHEAVY the DJ

The customer service has been good over the past years I’ve been going. People with the one stars don’t understand that this is the ONLY Apple store in MS, so of course they’re always busy or might have an extended wait time. I see also a lot of these 1 star reviews are because someone didn’t get their way when visiting. The employees have rules and procedures they have to follow, and if you’re not in that category, they’re hand are tied. Please be more considerate of policy’s and procedures rather than saying the customer service is bad because you didn’t get your way.

Megan Clark

BEST service!!! I’m not really sure why there are so many one star reviews!! This place is amazing and if I ever need anything I WILL be back. They had our problem resolved QUICK!!! We made an appointment and walked right in.

Shirley Harper

The customer service here is awful. My son has been having issues with his phone for over 2 weeks now. We've contacted Technical Support, Customer service lines and everything available - still no action to his phone being repaired. We as customers pay all this dam money for these IPhones but they don't want to repair it - this phone has a recall on it and it's still not freaking fixed.

Stephanie Hendry

Awesome customer service! All sales associates were very friendly and knowledgeable! if you make an appointment you can get in and out fast! Highly recommend going here for any service and Apple products!

Cat Wilson

Non-existent customer service!!! This is the 3rd time I have visited this store and NOBODY even bothered to ask me if I needed any help finding what I was looking for. The first time was, admittedly, crowded, BUT the last 2 times there were MULTIPLE associates standing around laughing and visiting with each other. I will avoid this place if at all possible from here on out. They even had a group of what was presumably prospective employees gathered together going through a training on how to wait on customers. LOL

Elizabeth campbell

I got in and out within an hour, and i didnt even have and appointment. The young lady was very kind and that mean a lot to me.

jenell h

This was my first time going into this Apple store and will be my last . I expected better customer service. There were more employees standing around than helping customers. I don't understand? Do Apple hirer more greeters than technicians? If so, maybe the process should be reversed.

bridge Bby

Every time I come to this apple store they are always nice. Great customer service! Edward was super helpful!! He deserves a raise.

Hal Totten

Great atmosphere to walk around and shop.

david anderson

No one greeted me up on entry. All black people were spoken to. . .sales person says. ."What you need?" No smile. . .an interruption in their day.

Susan Nall

Great service and smile.

Doss .

If you're here to be sold something you already wanted, there's no stopping you. This Apple Store has what you want. You already know that. If you're hear to get help, results may vary. I'm not 100% sure this is common Apple practice, but every time we have needed something fixed, it has either involved a complete OS wipe and reinstall or device replacement. As long as you understand that coming in, you're good to go. Also, the wait can be a little long for help so it's best set up an appointment.

Christopher Werner

Awful people. Make sure to make an appointment or you'll be stopped and told a phone number for basic support you already know. Wasted 2 hours of my life driving here.

Carlos Fuentes

If i could put negative stars I would put -5. I had to wait about 5 hours to get my screen repaired I felt like they didnt wanted to help me because I was different I was the only hispanic in the store I saw so many ppl being helped while i was waiting on somebody to help me Ppl with no appointment but yet they got helped first. wen they took my phone to fix it they told me to wait 1 hour and when i came back to get the phone they told me to wait another whole hour and 20 min but the white guy that was behind me for the same reason he got his phone repaired less than an hour. I never thought apple would help you faster by your skin color. Im pretty sure you guys dont care if i go back to the store or not but i definitely will never go back to this store ever again

Tanya Norwood

Nice and friendly workers

Jamie Jordan

Great Customer Service!!

Jeremy

Expect to spend about 2-3 hours here, regardless of if you've reserved a time via Apple's repair website or if you walk in from off the street. Expect to be shuffled between multiple Apple employees and be prepared to update each new employee with the full rundown of your issue. Prepare to stand or sit in a small, compact space with ten people huddled around a table. The process is too bureaucratic for how poorly it functions. Apple Stores have gotten worse than the DMV; even they provide more convenient options at this point.

Daesha Williams

The customers know more about the products than half the employees. I’ve been in several times, and often times you aren’t greeted and they’re sitting around chatting rather than helping or doing work.

john slaughter

Always a great experience and the representative are very knowledgeable and helpful.

JENNIFER DIGRAZIA

First of all, you can't even reach anyone in the store directly by the number provided. Guess now we can all compare Apple to At&T for longest wait time and poor, unfriendly customer service from the sales reps in the store. Specifically in my experience this morning, Julia, who disconnected my call after it took me nearly thirty minutes to reach someone in the store. She was very rude and did not want to let me speak to another employee who could confirm whether or not the battery I needed was in stock. Even though I made an appointment before hand with the Apple operator and just wanted confirmation with the store to avoid a wasted trip. All in all, very disappointed in their customer service today. I miss the days when Apple was smaller and actually cared about their consumers more.

A Rogers

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!!! HIRE A NEW MANAGER!!!! NOW AND FAST. I Feel so sorry for people that have to deal with this place. I WOULD totally understand why people that live in this area changed over to a different product. SO the experience here is heartbreaking.

Tanner Johnson

Most of my experiences have been great, but recent I had waited almost an hour for a sales associate to help.

Carol Fuller

Great experience at Apple Store in Ridgeland, MS! Everyone was helpful and Lauren was absolutely amazing! She is quick, smart, extremely knowledgable, and solved our problems in record time. Kudos to Lauren and the entire team.

Made an appointment to have my battery replaced in my ES phone. Arrived, directed to back of the store where I waited for twenty minutes, before being helped. Ran some diagnostics, said I did need a new battery, but they were out. Why make an appointment to replace a battery, when you dont have any. Told me they would order me a new battery and would notify me when to come back. Told it would only take an hour and I did not need another appointment. Received an email that battery was now available, again said no appointment was necessary, just arrive at least an hour before closing, so they could do repair. Arrived at 4:15pm, again directed to the back of the store, where I waited 20 minutes, before anyone checked and took my phone, to the back to repair it (4:40) Gave me a slip of paper saying it would be ready in 1 hour and 20 minutes, so I could come back at 5:50pm. I returned at 5:50 and they said it wasn’t quite ready, would be ready in just a minute. Ha...that was a lie. I waited and waited and it was finally brought to me at 6:40, and the battery was only charged 28%. By the time I paid for the battery, I had been at the store for 2 1/2 hours. Oh btw, they do not have a chair in the store, only stools, which don’t work for handicapped customers.

madeline worth

Such sweet workers

Chris Brown

Excellent customer service, friendly, and articulate. Apple id query

Gordon Huey

Duh...it's Apple. There are Apple bots being helped by other Apple bots with their Apple stuff.

Shequita Townsend

Local apple store for buying and repairing of apple products.

We stopped in on our way to the beach for vacation as my wife's phone was having issues. They did a hard reset and it seemed to solve the problem. My battery seemed like it was getting weak so they ran a diagnostic and confirmed it was on it way out. Quoted $80 to replace it. After an hour wait they took it to replace the battery. I specifically asked them to back it up first as my back up computer was at home. They didn't back it up, crashed my phone and it was declared a total loss. It really screwed up my efforts to work from vacation. They offered to replace the phone. I insisted they give me an iPhone 5s instead of another 5. I warned them that if it went through as an upgrade, the goofy ATT contract I have was going to cost me an additional $300 per year. They confirmed that they had nothing to do with ATT. Back home, first bill - $25 increase due to upgrade. I've called the store 5 times over the last 3+ weeks and keep getting the run around. The store manager said he would look into it and then didn't call back for 2 weeks. I'm in the middle of moving my business and finally found time to call him. He claimed he had lost my number. Said he would call back in a day or two. He called back a week later and left a message. I called him within a minute (I tried and failed to pick up his original call) and they said he was with a customer and unavailable. That was a week ago. I called again this AM and asked to speak to another manager - sorry only 1 manager there and they can't leave the floor. Another run around.

leda cooper

They were very helpful and the phones, tables, and the computers, etc were on point.

Elizabeth Idlebird

Nice place

Heather Swindle

Worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Rather deal with foreigners over the phone!!! Managers is the rudest person in the store. Need to learn how to speak to customers with your nasty self.

Tanner Stuart

They opened on time and just let everyone run in no one put anybody in que I was sent to one person who sent me to another by then more people came in and where added to que before I even was asked my name so while I expected a wait because the employees just wander around it's a 2 hour wait and the guy that came in after me but was helped before only had an hour because they have no system I've been to other apple stores before they open and this is the only one to not have someone outside checking people in as they lined up this is by next far the worst Apple Store I've ever been to the employees act like they don't want to be there and it shows this might be the final straw and I'll go back to android
