Ross and a couple of other techs were able to rescue my wife's Iphone from liquid damage. Total cost? $60! This is one of very few places I could find that actually dives into the black magic of smartphone data recovery. They have and ultrasonic cleaner and dehydrator that brought the phone back from death. They put a new screen and battery on it temporarily to get the data off it. Then they put an old screen and battery in it so that we could turn the phone in for an insurance claim. They didn't charge us for the screen, battery, or data recovery even though they totally could have. Top notice service and now we got back the last few months of photos from our baby daughter.

Dropped my iPod off for reapir on July 8th - was told part neede to be ordered and that it would be there on the 11th and that the repair would be completed that day. 07-11-18 at approx 3pm called the store - person I spoke to was the same person I had talked to at the store on the 8th - he said he needed to check on the status and that he'd call me back in 15 minutes or so - Never called back. 07-12-18 10am - called store - talked to the same person again, and after a prolonged search of his system, he informed me that the order for the part had somehow been cancelled. He offered a $35 credit and said he could have a part there by Monday morning and have the repair completed then. 07-16 at approx 4pm - Recieved a call from the tech who said he was wrking on the repair - he said that in the process of repairing the iPod, he'd broken a different part than the one he was fixing and that the soonest he could get that parth there was Thursday, the 19th. So CPR has now turned, what they advertise as a same day fix, into a 10-day project - gave them 1 star because 0 was not an option!

Cheap replacement products. Tempered glass broke within 24 hours. Screen broke within a month. Clearly not Gorilla Glass. Just stick with a manufacturer repair if you want it done right.

Called to ask if they sell any parts and was transferred to the Manager Joel who said that they don't sell parts and was hung up on. Didn't even get a chance to talk about my issues. I have had a cell phone screen replaced there but won't ever do any business there again.

A very nice man named Tristan fixed my Apple Watch Protective Glass Screen. I've had two of those screens put on at a different store and both times they developed large bubbles. So first I went back to the store that installed the Screen Protector and they were not able to help me, and they suggested I go to CPR. Tristan was able to get rid of the bubble for me!

John was extremely helpful. I had a smashed phone that I thought was beyond repair and not having it backed up was the worst part about it. We don’t realize how much we depend on our phones. John at CPR said even with the home button and the microphone being destroyed he can get another screen on it to at least back it up so I don’t lose everything. I hate to write such a negative review, but I feel compelled to do so with my recent experience. I had a cracked screen that I needed to get fixed and I went to the CPR shop in Bloomington. They charged me $150 for the fix. Three days after my screen was fixed, I put my phone in my mouth for no more than 20 seconds and it shattered. The issues didn't stop there. Shortly after the screen cracked, I slowly started to lose the ability to use my phone at all. First, I couldn't use certain letters when texting, then I couldn't answer calls, and before the end of the day my phone wouldn't work at all. I'd like to note that I used my original cracked screen for at least a month before getting it fixed and it never lost functionality. I went back to the CPR shop to see if they would fix my phone. I was met with a "discount price" and they would fix it for $109. They don't stand behind their service or work. I went to the apple store and was told they put cheap glass on the screen, which resulted in the crack and loss of phone functionality altogether. Bottom line, it comes down to customer service. Save yourself the time, money and headache and do not go to CPR for cell phone repairs. Find another shop that uses quality product and will stand behind their work.

I was having charging issues with my iPhone 6S. I stopped by and spoke with Calvin as I was 100% sure I needed a new charger port. After speaking with him for 20 seconds, he pulled the lint out of the port, and works just like new!! He could have charged for the new port, and I would have paid immediately, however he took a few minutes to ask, and do the right thing! I will be back without doubt if my devices ever need repair. I highly recommend!

I don't live near the cities, but was traveling to Bloomington one day. I am limited to CPR because it's warranty work. I submitted a "contact us" form with the information about my phone several days in advance and got an email back saying they would "be in touch as soon as possible." Didn't hear back from them, but stopped by the shop when I was there to see if they could still do the replacement. They didn't recall the email, would need to order the screen because they didn't have an S8 screen on hand - which they could've ordered if they had responded to me when I reached out to them. Super frustrating. Don't have a "contact us" form if it doesn't actually work to contact you.

literally ruined my phone and never responded any of my emails or concerns. they did an awful job. (by ruined my display is now discolored, the top half of my screen is “dead” and i can’t tap anything there, i have blue spots and bright spots in several places on my screen, i often wake up with my screen not letting me tap it at all and have to restart my phone, and the display sometimes jerks and jiggles.) so get your iphone fixed here if you genuinely want to destroy it.

I would give 0 stars if that was an option. I scheduled an appointment to drop off my phone for repair at 10:00am when the store opens. I waited nearly an hour with a group of other customers and nobody came to open the store. We finally all gave up on waiting and decided to leave around 10:45am. This was my first experience with CPR and I don't plan on ever going back.

Don't ever use this company, my salesman dropped his phone off 8 weeks ago to replace the battery and fix the back light. We were told 3-5 days to diagnose and they responded in that time frame and said the phone needed to be sent out for repair and it would take an additional 10-12 business days. Every time my salesman calls(this is a company phone) he is given the run around and nobody including management knows where his phone is. Terrible customer service and a rotten company to deal with. We are now filing a lawsuit in conciliation court to recover the cost of the phone. Do your self a favor and avoid this company or you will be sorry! Horrible Company, Terrible Customer Service!

Great customer service -- friendly and honest. I stopped in last week when my Galaxy stopped charging. I thought for sure the port had failed, and wouldn't have questioned that more expensive fix, but Jeremy took a look and recommended the replacement battery/external charger route. This surprised me, since everything else was functioning with the battery I had, but replacing the battery was all it took. A coworker recommended CPR Bloomington, and I'm glad she did.

My I phone wouldn't charge for the second time in two months. First time they cleaned the plug in and sent me on my way no charge. Spoke with Adam again today when it wouldn't charge again two months later. Same issue, crud in the charge plug in. Adam is honest and great to work with. I would go back anytime I have issues.

CPR ordered a battery for my phone, and called when it came in a week later. I took my phone in near the time they opened with them committing to do their best to get the battery replaced that day. It wasn't even looked at by the end of that business day, and the inconvenience was met with indifference. By the end of the second day, it was me calling them to find out that it still wasn't finished. I was told that the wrong battery had been ordered. While I can appreciate that mistakes happen, I don't appreciate that I had to call to find out that my phone wasn't ready for the second day, and hadn't really even been looked at until I called. The impression I got from the workers was akin to what I'd expect from Jeff Spicoli were he to run the business solo.

Worst experience with a repair business ever. I never received a phone call that my iPad would be leaving the store to be diagnosed/repaired in Wisconsin. When I called the store 7 days after I dropped off my iPad, I was told it was sent for repairs: WHAT REPAIRS? I NEVER GAVE AN OK FOR ANY REPAIRS - I was told I would get a phone call with a diagnosis, and estimated cost and that never happened. The ensuing THREE weeks was a mish-mash of phone calls(always placed by myself) to check on the iPad status - first it was getting fixed, then it was not repairable - how do I know that your tech in Wisconsin didn't break it during the repair process? To top it off I was offered a free screen protector - no thanks. The only solution I wanted was for them to refund my $59.99 diagnostic fee, which they agreed to. Quit advertising on the radio if you can't handle the business it's going to generate.

This was my third time at CRP in Bloomington. I had a cracked screen fixed in Dec. 2015 and the repair did something wonky with the multi toggle button so the fixed that for free last month. On Sunday without and dropping or any other action by me the phone cracked near the listening piece. They decided that I must have accidently did this so the warranty didn't cover this damage. I had to pay around $210 (about the same as first time) labor and a screen protector was comped. The work and parts seem to be of a better quality than the first time but of course I was bummed I had to pay for a repair that should have been covered by the warranty. 5 stars for the work 1 star for them not believing that I had nothing to do with the screen cracking 6/2=3 I recommend CRP for people that don't have phone insurance. If you crack your screen only once in the first 2 years, it probably is more cost effective to have it repaired by CRP then paying a deductible and 24 months of insurance fees. If it cracks twice, not so much. Here's hoping the Moto shattershield will be more available in the future on more phones.

My Samsung Galaxy S7 needed a new battery. Calvin "Exceeded" my expectations. The total cost was LESS than what I was quoted on the corporate CPR website. Plus, Calvin had the work done in only 45 minutes. Even faster than the 1 hour that he estimated the work would take. I highly recommend this CPR store.

A different business tried to revive my iphone, which had fallen into a pool.. The other business did not get the phone revived, but CPR took the time needed to do it right. This saved my pictures and recordings, and avoided a $600 + data recovery charge. As part of the fix, they repaired a dislodged vibration motor. Super pleased with their attitude and abilities. I'd give more than 5 stars if there was such an option!

I brought my iPhone in this summer for a cracked screen. They changed it in less than an hour and that was great- except the phone screen would shudder and it wouldn’t respond correctly to the letters I was touching (don’t get the screen protector- I had to take it off within the hour because the phone had an even harder time detecting the correct key I touched). I brought it back and I was told they received a “bad batch” of screens. He replaced the screen again very efficiently and I left. Except the problem was the same. The screen shuddered, jumped, and froze all the time. I was so frustrated and angry- I called and the said they’d replace the screen again

I had my first experience with CPR as a referral after Batteries Plus and T Mobile explained that they would have difficulty replacing the battery in my Nexus 6P with their resources. CPR was responsive on the phone and indicated it would not be a problem. They ordered my battery and called me when it came in. I brought my phone in that evening and was told it would be ready the next morning at 10am. I came in just before 1pm. The associate explained that he had a bad memory about the phone and didn't want to work on it. After making the commitment, this wasted several hours of my time only to hear a response like that from CPR. It was a first for me ... I would have expected CPR to honor their agreement and, at the very least, respond with something more meaningful than "I don't really want to do it." Wow ... big disappointment.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. 2 months ago I cracked my screen but my phone still worked perfectly. I took it to CPR in Bloomington to get the screen fixed. They charged me $150 for the screen and around $30 for a new screen protector. They told me the screen protector was top of the line. After I got my phone fixed, it would start going crazy at 9:15am and 9:15pm and any time I was outside. I would be in the middle of a text and the emails would pull up and start showing letters that I wasn't typing. I would be reading on an app and it would randomly start changing pages to the middle or end of the book then I would lose my place. Phone calls would drop and the letters wouldn't work on a text message. I would shut off my phone and turn it back on and then it would work correctly (unless I was outside). I was told I had a lifetime warranty. I dropped my phone on carpet (no more than a foot) and the screen cracked again so I brought it back to the store today and they told me they couldn't fix it unless I got the screen fixed for ANOTHER $150 and then they could fix the other problems. If I have a lifetime warranty and THEY caused the issue when they replaced it the first time, why should I have to pay another $150? The screen isn't cracked that bad and I didn't want to get the screen replaced. The screen protector is obviously NOT top of the line if it cracked on carpet. I refused to pay another $150 for them to fix a problem they caused. I will definitely NOT be going back to this place. Also, the tech was not very friendly. Maybe not all CPRs are bad but the Bloomington location is definitely not a place I would recommend to anyone. You're better off going to the Apple store if you have an iPhone.

i had my iphone 7 screen crack back in about april and came to CPR to fix it. they claim to be so much cheaper than apple when in fact, the price is the exact same to fix a cracked screen. i went in to have the screen replaced and when returned to me, the touch screen didn't work properly, and the color display was WAY more dull than the original screen. so we went back and they replaced it again- only to have the same problems along with white lights appearing through the screen in the bottom right corner, and strain lights appear whenever i press the home button. the screen also often glitches, and at times stops working all together. they TOLD ME they would email/call me when they had a "better shipment of screens" but never called. so i emailed and called several times but was either ignored or said i would be redirected to someone, and never was. i am extremely disatisfied with the service here and honestly my cracked screen would function better than this garbage screen.

Very professional. Stopped in the Bloomington CPR store and spoke to Adam about some moisture that had affected answering calls and playing my music out loud. He took the time to explain the problems with my type of Phone and the inability to open it. Even though it looked bleak he offered to take the phone in over night for no charge and use a dehydration method to try and fix it. Well long story short, I stopped in the next afternoon and waited just a few minutes for Adam to finish with another customer. He immediately did some quick diagnostics, which proved to be positive.
