I called in to see if my phone was under warranty before bringing it in because I thought it was broken. I spoke with a gentleman whose name I believe was John. He went through a few things with me and ended up helping me fix my problem over the phone... saving me a trip to the store! He was very helpful, cared about my problem, and was extremely pleasant to talk to. I highly recommend this store and this associate!!!

Staff here is always pretty helpful it just can’t help but feel cramped due to the small footprint. Can also get quite hot when busy on the weekends with all the people packed inside.

This is the largest Apple show room i ever visited. Large selections and all accessories are on hand stocks always Staff take care of the customer very well and understand what customer needs. The shop is very busy all the day, But there is some wait time. Please order the accessories online and pick it up in store (This would save time)

Everyone here knows what they are doing! (I also bought my MacBook online and said I’d pick it up at the store which is a nice feature and easy to use!) While mostly all apple stores have good customer engagement and service, my last experience was rather rude. The guy doing the billing on his apple mobile had no interest in speaking or making small talk...when I casually asked about the keynote happening in a week's time ...he blandly almost rudely responded "I don't know when the keynote is happening" ..you call yourself an apple employee and do not know when the key note is happening and with a rude demeanor. He felt like he hated working there and had no smile but a grim and angry expression. I was handed the phone to enter my billing details and made no effort to even ask my name or make me feel welcome to the store...and the store was literally empty and it was not like he had people waiting for him...not a good experience to be attending the store of a company that primes itself on customer satisfaction. This would be my last visit to that store.

Went in with a no service issue on my daughters phone today 10/21/18, it is a a1660 issue which I have on 2 of my other kids phones, which we had replace because of this issue with a new phone at Somerset Apple store. My wife want to go to certain stores here so we we went in to have it looked at. The sales person told us there was nothing they could do even though it was under warranty still and we have Apple care. We told them what Apple in Somerset did the previous 2 times. Still nothing, ask to talk to manager, manager said the same thing, they had to send it out and did not seem to want to help in any other way. We told them good by and drove to Somerset Mall where they ran diagnostics and replaced my daughters phone on the spot just like the first 2 times. They were awesome, Novi Apple not at all. Will never go back to them.

I have been here to by my iPhones and MacBook. Great customer service. My MacBook charger was broken like typical Apple charger, do I went here to buy new one. One of the rep recommended to bring my old charger and they can get me certified charger through Genius Bar for $20 cheaper.

Later on, Gabe helped us and we left the store happy as can be. All of the workers had a positive attitude, and seemed as if they loved their job. It was worth the drive out there :-)

She assisted my mom with questions that she had regarding the new MacBooks and went above and beyond to make sure my mom was able to understand every feature. We ended up purchasing a new Macbook from her and picked it up promptly the next day. All in all very satisfied with everything at this store.

It was pretty busy (they said it was a slow day, but it seemed very busy). They had problems with the repair, and it took quite a bit longer than expected. The service, however was excellent. Jimez kept me informed regularly and was able to find creative ways to get the repair finalized. Even though it took longer than expected, that is the kind of service that Apple is excellent for. Picked up a refurbished iMac that I ordered online. When I set it up at home, discovered it was missing half the RAM memory that I paid for. I ordered it with 8GB, they sent me one with 4GB. Will try my luck with their customer service tomorrow. Update: after talking to their manager the next day, they recognized the major mistake and offered me a new one for no additional cost.

Actually, his place reset my Apple TV box that had stuck on the splash screen. So, they got my Apple TV box working, but my other two boxes at home suspeciously went blank, dead, etc. So now, I guess since the 3 Apple TV boxes were on my single Google acct (registered as my Apple acct sign in), the correction done to my first box which I took to this Apple Store caused my other two boxes to reset to nothing. Now those tow boxes won't even boot up. So, I guess the bottom line is, if you own more than one Apple TV box and have one reset via Apple Store, you better have em all reset at the same time, at least then you will have them all working. And THAT is why they only rate 2 Stars from me.

I'm no stranger to computer issues, and somehow needed my logic board replaced twice in two years with just normal wear and tear. Having a hard case on my laptop has helped with that. ANYWAY, when my laptop began having issues charging, and I noticed that my charge port seemed lose, I was prepared for the worst. I was prepared to have to send my Macbook off to get repaired and be stuck doing homework on my phone for a week. But thanks to the wonderful staff at Apple in Twelve Oaks, my computer was fixed in store and I can keep up with my studies! Only reason for the 4 star was my 30 minute wait to be seen, but even that was explained to me.

My wife waited in line 15 minutes for a replacement iphone 6 battery. They say “you can schedule an appointment for battery replacement” which she does for the next day. Goes in to the appointment and they say the appointment was only to speak to a tech who says “oh you need a battery replacement? Come in tomorrow.” The appointment was for a battery replacement, you dolt. Needless to say, the battery was never replaced which drains 10x as fast as it used to, so that you will be forced to either buy a new phone or a new battery.

Staff at this store are unbelievable. My daughter took her phone there to have it repaired after her screen just went black. Took them over an hour to replace it. Then a couple weeks later, By her own admission she cracked her screen. When she returned to the store they told her That she would have to pay full price for a new screen. Finding this ridiculous since she has Apple care, She took the phone to a Sprint location that said they would honor her insurance and had never heard of such an explanation. However they could not Repair the phone because the original 12 oaks mall iPhone store location had stripped the screws. So she returned to be 12 oaks mall location and asked them to replace the screws that they had initially stripped. Somehow while replacing the stripped screws this location cracked the back of her phone. If you truly cherish your Apple products I would not recommend this location to my worst enemy.

My wife waited in line 15 minutes for a replacement iphone 6 battery. They say “you can schedule an appointment for battery replacement” which she does for the next day. Goes in to the appointment and they say the appointment was only to speak to a tech who says “oh you need a battery replacement? Come in tomorrow.” The appointment was for a battery replacement, you dolt. Needless to say, the battery was never replaced which drains 10x as fast as it used to, so that you will be forced to either buy a new phone or a new battery.

Staff at this store are unbelievable. My daughter took her phone there to have it repaired after her screen just went black. Took them over an hour to replace it. Then a couple weeks later, By her own admission she cracked her screen. When she returned to the store they told her That she would have to pay full price for a new screen. Finding this ridiculous since she has Apple care, She took the phone to a Sprint location that said they would honor her insurance and had never heard of such an explanation. However they could not Repair the phone because the original 12 oaks mall iPhone store location had stripped the screws. So she returned to be 12 oaks mall location and asked them to replace the screws that they had initially stripped. Somehow while replacing the stripped screws this location cracked the back of her phone. If you truly cherish your Apple products I would not recommend this location to my worst enemy.

Awful experience- waited in line to pick up my prepaid phone (paid online) and then after much waiting they gave me the phone but are unable to activate it because they have no SIM cards. They sent me on a wild goose chase to the phone company who are not really interested in helping you since you didn’t buy from them. Would you buy a car without tires if the dealer sent you to metro tire to buy them? Ridiculous!

Can’t thank Kat and Dan enough. Came in today at 8:30pm because my phone was acting up, and having a working phone is essential to both my personal and professional lives. They were able to squeeze me in to get the display on my iPhone X replaced, and got me out just after 9pm. A typical 1-2 hour repair only took Dan 30 minutes, and my phone is as good as new. Kudos to both of them, and I will be referring my clients/customers to see Dan for their Apple repair issues.

VZW vs APPLE poor customer service/lazywork ethics goes to apple employee at this location. NO SERVICE issue, no one can contact me, no orders can be text.. i dont like change but Apple might lose a customer with this employee. i was sent to Apple per Verizon, to have them assess my no cellular service issue on my phone7. The young woman helping me about 12:30 today, short-short hair, maybe a nose piercing? i wish i knew her name so i could let her know that she was wrong to shew me away or could of gave me better feedback instead of blaming Verizon.. my iPhone keeps cutting in and out of service. no calls or text, i use this phone for work so its agony... She said i didn't have this issue because i had service in that moment and did show "error" in the cellular settings. well as sure as sh*t i walk out of the mall LOL calling someone it failed. No way was i going back to that line [you all know what i mean] GOOD JOB girl, for NOT listening to me, i have screen shots that the issue shows exactly what you said it NEEDED to say. You said that Apple would just turn away my phone because it was a replacement through VZW, instead you could of let me know that APPLE only helps when you have the phone for so long. Instead she said it would cost me $400 if i wanted Apple to deal with it. wanted to point the finger at the vzw girl who helped me get to the apple store saying she should know better that Apple doesnt like warranty phones and will just send it back. I HAVE NO phone service at this moment. .. thanks..... i just am tired of the back and forth between these two. the best customer service out of either one was verizon who i had to deal with 3 times in 24 hours. from the store in Novi to the techs online/phone. Greeters were amazing! The first rep was less than enthused to answer our questions about a new Mac Pro laptop.. but the incredible rude manager who was just a complete jerk about the student discount and letting us clearly know we were not entitled to discounts was the icing on the cake. We walked out laughing and in disbelief that a manager could treat any customer like that and still expect to close a sale. Clearly he didn’t care either way. We went online and ordered (with the student discount) saved a bunch of money and enjoyed our experience!! We will drive to the Ann Arbor Apple Store if we need help with our new purchase :)

I love the Apple store! Costumer service has always been great. Except on my last visit. I wanted to purchase a new screen protector and the person who helped did not tell me of any options or price. I had to ask that after he was already bringing up the screen protector. Also he mentioned that I had a 1 year warranty in the store, which is not true. The protector actually has a 5 year warranty but with the manufacturer. Besides that everything else has been great there!

Awful experience for a Wednesday night. Came in to get the new iPhone, ended up getting past off to three different store personnel. Once finally helped the lady rudely took another customer in the middle of my transaction and mind you right in the middle of asking questions. I was then past off again and this guy wasn’t engaged at all and was more focused on people walking in versus actually helping with the purchase. Considering this is a corporate store, it really makes me think twice about apple considering this customer service was a all time low.

I made an appt for 10:35 am on a Saturday. First available when I booked. Figured I could get on with the rest of my Saturday after, since all I needed was my iPhone battery replaced. When I walked in nobody greeted me. I walked around a bit and finally had to ask someone for help, no big deal. They told me it would be ready by noon. I was surprised it would take 1.5hrs to change the battery but the store was busy so fine, I walked around the mall. When I returned at noon I was told it wasn’t ready. I waited in the store another 15-20min. The first time they brought me my phone, the seal around the seam of the case was sticking out. They took it back to fix it. The second time they brought it out the home button wasn’t working, they took it back to replace the display. The THIRD time they brought it out the home button was fixed but now the seal was sticking out again. Where is quality control? Why wouldn’t you check for that since that was the issue the FIRST time the phone was returned to me. During all this time I was seriously looking at the iPad Pro. Been thinking about buying one for months. A genius asked me if I was interested in it and I told her yes I’d been thinking about it. She said rather condescendingly “well it’s not for eeeeveryone. After your phone is done one of us can talk to you more about it” ...okay then. Finally (a fourth time) my phone is brought out. It finally looks right and is working. Though this time the guy helping me didn’t make sure of those things in front of me. Just asked me if I thought it looked okay now. I pay the $50. Stood there a minute to make sure the Touch ID and whatnot was actually working now. So, nearly 3 hours of my Saturday and 50 bucks later, I left with my phone that I hope won’t have any new issues after this saga... and a new battery charged to... 6% -_- I really thought I may by the iPad Pro today but honestly didn’t have the time to stay longer and sure didn’t feel like giving this particular store any more of my money.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I went to the Apple Store December 17th 2018 and my phone was frozen however, I was able to use the quick menu, the issue was the homepage was frozen. I had 2 small cracks on the side. They tried turning off my phone and it would just stay on the page. They told me I needed a screen replacement which would have been $160. But the screen wasn't an issue and the sales guy kept telling me half the screen works and the other half doesn't when the half of the screen that he claimed didn't work still worked with the quick menu. It was an issue with the phone itself. They didn't diagnose the problem correctly and if I wasn't tech savvy I could have waist $160. While I was talking to him he ignored me and spoke to another customer. I ended up going to my phone carrier and the understood it wasn't a screen issue and I ended up getting a new iPhone.

As far as apple stores go, it’s the same great experience. The staff is always friendly and make sure your shopping experience is as painless and smooth as possible. As with any Apple store, try to go at times that are less crowded. When the store gets busy it’s harder to have a good experience simply due to the smaller size of the store.

Just shocking how erragant and disorgonised these geniuses are at the store. I has been sent from one genius to another 6 times until I ended up with the store manager (Josh, I think) - the most useless genius of all. My phone has been giving me problems since day one and I’ve had to go to this store 4 times!!!! Each time they basically tell me they can’t do anything for me except give me 250 dollars for it so I can upgrade..... I’m the kind of guy That takes great care of his phones, never a scratch! But this phone has had a faulty internal antenna, a faulty battery, a non focusing camera, and now it makes this loud static sound randomly throughout the day even when it’s on sleep mode!!! You’d think they’d at least replace the iPhone with the same model but they won’t even do that!!! Also I’ve been an apple customer since the iPod Nano and I’m not buying another apple product again

The place is so nice there isn't directions so if you are looking for a place you will have to look for Lon time and that's not fun. I like decorations of the place and overall it was a good experience.

Been going to this mall for a while, Wide variety and selection in this mall. Busy most of the time, has some many amazing and excusite places to wine and dine. I really like the ambience and texture of the place, gives a really great vibe and there is no chance of being bored with the amazing sales always on. A must visit.

A beautiful experience very nice and professional I brought my kids to the apple store because my daughter phone won't update I made an appointment and I was seen the same day the rep who helped us was very knowledgeable and he let me test out the xr iPhone and xs max which was cool my kids enjoyed their experience with Apple it was nice and crowed but that didn't brother me and it didn't take long for them to update the phone.

Been here for 2 hours to get told you need to buy a new phone because the one you brought in for service is not going to work anymore. Why is it not going to work anymore??? They’ll tell you we don’t know why. I think I’m done with Apple and there products. Phone watch and computer seem really unreliable now. I’m going to Samsung and spending my money there now. Apple will not go broke because of me but I promise you they will lose there swag.

Brought my phone here because after trying the bowl of rice trick for water damage it would not charge. Didn’t have to wait long this time which was a shock. Zack took one look at the charging port and said it needed to be replaced for over $300. Took my phone to Verizon and they took one look and saw a piece of rice stuck where the cord is supposed to go. Removed it and the phone now charges. Apple clearly just wants your money.

No "Genius" to be found today. My daughter's phone wouldn't turn on, I made an appointment, drove across town an hour only to be told, yeah, it won't turn on, its dead. I asked why? Its a two year old iPhone 6s, it hadn't been dropped, screen was intact, no dents, dings, protected in an Otterbox why isn't it working? We bought 4 phones on the same day, one died earlier than the rest. Her response was there are a lot of parts it could be any of them and most of the phones die after two years anyway. Then comes the "but you can buy a new one for XX hundreds of dollars." What a racket. I wouldn't have minded the phone dying but at least give me some logical reason not just push a few buttons and say its dead, give me money. I received more help going to a phone store afterwards than the "Genius" bar.

Went here yesterday because SIM card reader stopped working. Decided to give in and upgrade to an iphone 8. The only problem was that the people at apple assigned my mother's number to my new phone instead of mine. Pretty irritating and now neither one of us has a working phone. Please pay better attention to detail.

As far as apple stores go, it’s the same great experience. The staff is always friendly and make sure your shopping experience is as painless and smooth as possible. As with any Apple store, try to go at times that are less crowded. When the store gets busy it’s harder to have a good experience simply due to the smaller size of the store.

Just shocking how erragant and disorgonised these geniuses are at the store. I has been sent from one genius to another 6 times until I ended up with the store manager (Josh, I think) - the most useless genius of all. It's hard to believe how lite care we get after spending so much for Apple products. And all I needed was to purchase a new computer charger. Do as much purchases online to avoid such waste of time and dealing with unpleasant people.

Bought a iphone xs max and the phone blacks out randomly sometimes and will power back up when it feels like. This is the worst money I’ve ever spent on something for it to be horrible quality I will never do business with Apple again

My phone has been giving me problems since day one and I’ve had to go to this store 4 times!!!! Each time they basically tell me they can’t do anything for me except give me 250 dollars for it so I can upgrade..... I’m the kind of guy That takes great care of his phones, never a scratch! But this phone has had a faulty internal antenna, a faulty battery, a non focusing camera, and now it makes this loud static sound randomly throughout the day even when it’s on sleep mode!!! You’d think they’d at least replace the iPhone with the same model but they won’t even do that!!! Also I’ve been an apple customer since the iPod Nano and I’m not buying another apple product again

I came in with a problem of syncing, that even Apple Care couldn’t solve. And Ashley did her best to solve it too, but failed. But that’s not why I’m writing this review. Ashley was outstanding in doing her best in solving my problem and needs to be commended for all her effort and patience!! She not only tried to help me with the problem of syncing, but gave me tips of other things I was doing on my iPhone 8 Plus that I just bought 2 days ago. She deserves a gold star!! And I will ask for her every time I need some help from my Apple store employees! Please give her a raise!!

Horrible customer service...... not organized to deal with the selling of the new iPhone and servicing appointments! Picking and choosing who the technicians are servicing! Witnessed walk-ins taken before appointment, staff calling the same name for more than 20 minutes, not moving on to the next! I am highly disappointed and dissatisfied with apple’s service! I have been to the apple store more than 3 times in 2 months and over 5 phone calls in a month! I first went into the store because my phone was unresponsive, in the middle of a phone call it still appears for me to hear and talk back but the phone is unresponsive, I also am not able to type quickly without it starting to become super slow and won’t let me type leaving me to speak into the voice text. The first time I went to the apple store they told me that I should erase the whole phone and set it up as a new iPhone, I did that and it worked for the first week or so then it started becoming unresponsive again. The second time I went back to the apple store they replaced the battery but before that they said my phone was working at normal peak performance and may not need to be replaced so let’s try to erase to factory settings, I then went back and they replaced the battery for $30. After that, it was working for again the first week or so, I was told that if this doesn’t work they will replace my whole phone. I took it back to the apple store on Saturday July 30 and I then was told that my battery should NOT have been replaced because it has a third party screen (which I believe is a lie because they didn’t open my phone or do any diagnostics other than look at it) and they would replace it for $169.00. Which is totally ignorant and unfair considering that I was told my phone was going to be replaced for $30 if this step doesn’t work. Im upset because I can’t afford $169. Im a student, my parents can’t afford that amount and I’m stuck now with a phone that doesn’t perform. I’m having thoughts of switching from iOS, great job apple!
