Highly, highly recommended. I am beyond happy and satisfied with my experience here. I wish I knew about this place sooner, rather than spend all that wasted time at the Apple Store. Every employee was helpful, knowledgeable and kind. I brought my phone in yesterday after work and they started working on the phone right away (free of charge). They gave me two options for my phone and told me it would take a few days for them to restore the system. I received a phone call at 11:00am the next day, telling me it was all set and everything on my phone was restored. My phone was in perfect condition and it was like nothing happened to it. The service was quick and simple. The explanation was straight forward and direct.

THIS STORE IS THE BEST! my mac doesnt turn on. i went to apple store and they told me it is completely dead and i need to buy a new one. Then i take my mac to Computer Loft and they manage to turn it on!!! And i can get it fixed at price only $300, which is much cheaper than apple store. THIS STORE IS AMAZING

I really don't want to leave a bad comment, but the experience is terrible to me. My computer had a battery problem and I sent it here to fix it. It took me one week to wait for it. Until here is all fine. However, They didn't check other things before they called me. So I went back and found that the keypad and trackpad were not working. It took me another whole week to wait for that. I had two weeks without a computer, but this could be prevented if they checked before they called me. I'm not sure if the apple store will be faster or not, but this experience to me is very bad. The front desk is nice, I'm just not satisfied, or a bit angry about their efficiency.

I ALWAYS root for the little guy. One of my friends swore up and down by these folks... so I figured I would get a good experience. I did not. If you need something "sent out" I would highly suggest you go to DIRECTLY to an Apple store. The problem started when I called about 5 days later and asked for an ETA and they said, "they don't tell us anything, we are just as frustrated as you are. All we are told are 7-10 days" . To add insult to this, my laptop had to be sent back for a second time. In their defense they DID give me a loaner for the 2nd send back. But when I got my machine back, I asked what I thought was a "simple question" to the intake clerk... she was fairly new. Everyone has a new job day...not a big deal. The manager had to take over. Then he had a bit of a high handed attitude about what I was asking, and then told me to call the "manufacturer" and ask them "mother may I"...ehem...um.. isn't that APPLE? Really? I went home and everything was fine, until I took a HARD look at the keyboard as I was doing data entry and my number 5 key was NOW a "R" key. I paid upwards of $800 bucks for this repair. My fear was that I NOW on top of all this, I got crappy used parts for my money. They fixed the chicklet key while I was on site and as I voiced my concern all I got was a shrug and then them blaming Apple for the 3d time. Moral of the story: go to the Big Box store... avoid all together if they have to "send it out".

I had spilled water on my macbook pro and feared for the worst. I attempted to make an appointment at the apple store but was told I would have to wait for three days. I then called The Computer Loft, who told me to come in that day. While my Mac's hard drive was fried, the associates were able to save the rest of my computer and install a new hard drive for relatively cheap. A+ service. Will be going to them for now on with apple related needs!

Amazing! The fan on my 2012 Macbook Pro completely died with zero RPM and my laptop's CPU continuously overheat to 100 degrees Celsius. I didn't want to continue using my laptop because there are too much work stuff on it and I was afraid of it overheating and I didn't want to bring it into Apple's Genius Bar because all the Genius Bar guys will do is charge me $800 flat fee for any and all repairs when I just want a new fan. These Computer Loft guys only charge me about 1/8th of the $800 to fix my fan! They said it will be done in 3 days but they actually finished it one day earlier! AMAZING! Will come back for all Apple repairs.

The Loft saved my hide when I did some very sketchy things to my innocent MB Pro. I have quite a bit of repair/build experience but I made a doozy of a mistake and the tech did his best to rectify. He saved the machine and kept me up to date on how things were going even though it was the holiday season and I'm sure they were slammed.

I visited Computer Loft to change my stupid 2016 macbook pro's stupid keyboard because it was repeating and making horrible sticky noise, and there is the Apple keyboard replacement extended warrenty. The staff here were very kind and professional, and got the job done lightning fast.

Apple Care sent me here to get my MacBook Pro fixed (only available appointment within 24 hours). They were friendly, not-condescending, and their questions about what was wrong got to the point quickly. They figured out it was a hardware issue, asked if I needed my data backed up (I had everything backed up already) and put the order in for the new flash drive. Gave me an estimate it would take about a week, which was reasonable, and told me it was covered under Apple Care (cost me $0). It was ready the next day! Incredible. My computer works great, I'm happy, each person I interacted with was nice. Even if I don't have Apple Care cover further issues with any apple product I have, I will take it here.

The folks at the CL are outstanding - my MBA died - mind you after 7 or so years this was not a big surprise - however when it happens - it is a panic. They ordered a new one and helped with the setup-up including recommending and selling me a nifty little enclosure that allows me to boot and access my old drive and all my old data. And yes - even the .pvm images for Win10 came back over cleanly. Kudos Gents - well played - and thank you.

Great store! I tried to stop off at an apple store to get my displayless, weird booting mac looked at, bad idea. Thirty minutes later I was at the Computer loft and helped out immediately. The problem was a simple fix and I was out the door a few minutes later. Good fellas there though, and maybe next time I'll cause more computer issues to hang out longer.

Highly recommend this place!!! I saw my dog was running around my computer( MacBook Air 2015) and a can of sparkling water was knocked down on the carpet near my computer. Then I found my computer screen was totally in black and could not be started anymore. I put it in the rice for one night. Then I took my computer to Apple. After a long waiting, I was told no water sign was found. But, they said they do not know why the computer cannot be started any more. All they can do is to send my computer to repair for about two weeks, however they do not save the data. The price is almost half of the computer. I really need all my papers on my computer, so I left without giving my computer to them. I am so happy I did so! Because Computer Loft quickly diagnosed my computer and told me that there is no physical damage at all. The employee is very friendly and professional! He effectively and carefully checked my computer and successfully started it. He told me that the only problem is the software. He then spent 10 minutes or so to repair the software. He saved both my computer and the data with no charge because he said it is a free diagnosis. Thank you so much! The whole store is very clean and well organized. All staffs are effective and professional. I highly recommend bringing your Mac computer to Computer Loft which can honestly tell you what really happened and how they will do to save it.

I was lucky to have a simple problem, so they repaired my computer in under 10 minutes, while I waited! The staff member was very helpful and explained where my computer was in its lifetime and what to watch out for. He also showed me the inside of the laptop and explained exactly what he repaired - a nice touch that takes the mystery out of computer repair. I had prepared myself for a multi-day wait and the stress of the Apple Store - this was a very positive experience by comparison.

This place has amazing customer service. They really care for their customers and want them to get expert service at reasonable prices. I had to stop by once to transfer all the data from my old laptop to my new laptop (something the Genius bar at the Apple store couldn't do for me) and they were able to do it within the span of a few days. When my boyfriend came out to visit me, the screen on his Macbook Air was a little funky, so we took it to the Computer Loft on a whim to see what could be done. They checked the warranty, realized there was one day left, and were able to order and replace his screen for free before the end of his visit, all within two days of us visiting. These guys are incredible, and I couldn't recommend them more!

I called to ask if they had any pre-owned laptops and the guy could not have been ruder. "If I had a crystal ball and I could see into the future I'd be a very rich man" he said. What kind of answer is that to someone who calls your store to try to buy something? Bizarre. I've been going to Computer Loft for over 10+ years, for both purchases and repairs, but definitely not any more.

Computer loft is my go to store for every mac issue and external drive issue. They are fast, professional, service-oriented, and give free estimates. Most recently I brought them a failing drive which they diagnosed with 24 hours. I was extremely satisfied. 6 weeks ago they repaired my son's MacBook Pro keyboard and it works great! In the longer past I have had bad monitor cards and wifi cards replaced there. Again I've always been very happy with the work, the service, and the free advice about my mac.

I was a little nervous because of some of the reviews on here but honestly, they are simply reviews and those folks sounded a bit grumpy. Communication is key for me, and these guys were very helpful, and also honest with their information relayed re: the service being done on my macbook. The work was completed on my machine in a little less than 3 business days. Service was simple and my laptop is working very well now. I just wanted to thank the folks at the Computer Loft for not only fixing my Macbook within days (when I was expecting a full week), but for being incredibly courteous to my partner who delivered the computer on my behalf. Not only did they open up the insides to show her exactly what was broken, what they'd fix, and how, but they were also kind enough to clean my screen and replace a missing foot on the bottom of my computer. After numerous positive interactions with the people at the Computer Loft, I feel like I owe them a well-deserved review. The technicians at the Computer Loft fixed both my and my girlfriend's 2009 MBPs by replacing the HDDs with SSDs and adding RAM. They were very knowledgeable and gave me a fair price for all parts and services involved (I checked parts online beforehand to make sure I wasn't getting ripped off). Most importantly (and impressively) a technician named Alex was able to recover and migrate data from a significantly worn out hard drive over to a new SSD. The HDD in question took more than 5 minutes to boot up and pinwheeled for at least a minute every time something was clicked. I have no idea how he did it, but Alex was able to recover all the data and my new hard drive performs flawlessly. I feel like I have a brand new MacBook Pro for only a few hundred dollars! Lastly, when a pipe burst in my apartment directly over an external hard drive that had important data on it, Alex at the Computer Loft was able to recover the data completely for a lower price than what the Geek Squad quoted me at. Take your Apple products here and get no bs answers while avoiding the mobs at the genius bar!

My computer was wiped out of all my documents. I went to get my computer changed from Windows 10 to Windows 7 and all my folders were gone. I was told by owner that I placed my folders in the wrong spot and they were not moved back to Windows 7 which doesn't make sense. I had Windows 7 and was changed to Windows 10 and all my documents were there. When I wanted it switched back to Windows 7 all my documents were gone and my Malware was gone too. I was told I could download Malware myself so I did. The owner told me I could get an app to locate my deleted filed but I would have to pay $40 to retrieve them. So not only did my files get deleted but now I would have to pay to get them back. He asked me if my files were important? He said this app would let me look through my folders to select which documents I consider important and pull them up for a fee. I consider all my documents important. I kept a Military folder with all my husband's files and I also homeschool my children and now all my documents are gone! He spoke to me and made me feel like this was all my fault because I don't know how to back up my files. He said that the files would have been deleted anyway if my computer would have crashed. I'm sorry but my computer didn't crash. I just had all my computer documents deleted instead of transferred back to my computer. I deeply regret taking my computer to the Computer Loft. I just thought I would warn anyone from taking their computer here.

I really hate to leave negative feedback, but my experience has been frustrating- I had a damaged hard drive and they were unable to transfer any of my old information to the new hard drive. Perhaps this isn’t their fault, but it was a pretty expensive repair given the fact that I lost all my info. That aside, upon picking up my computer they did not inform me of the new password on the temporary account they created. I got home and could not log into my computer due to this lack of information. I then called to get the password and it was not correct. I was told I have to come back in to get it straightened out. This is quite inconvenient to me and this could have been very easily prevented.

Brought my MacBook in where the keypad and trackpad weren’t working. One of the employees, who was very nice, quoted me $450 to leave my computer with them to figure out and fix the issue. Keep in mind they had not done any tests while I was there to figure out if it was a hardware or software issue- but regardless, price was the same. I reluctantly signed off on it and left but returned moments later, having decided that the price for NO diagnosis was ridiculous and to wait a week for an actual appointment at the Genius Bar. Just returned from the Apple Store where they immediately recognized it was the trackpad cable and I was charged $10.23 for the service and repair. I’m not sure WHY the Computer Loft deemed it acceptable to charge $500 without actually knowing the issue but my advice is to get a second opinion from the actual Apple Store and potentially save lots of money.

my computer got water damaged and I brought it in for them to look at. the prognosis, according to them, was that my computer wasnt gonna survive and that I would need to shell out 800 bucks to replace it (which is the price I got my macbook air for on black friday two years ago). luckily I wasnt an idiot (like they thought I was) and walked out refusing to pay them the crazy sum of money they quoted me. went home, turned on computer after having it in front of a fan for 12 hours, and everything was normal. this happened a couple of months ago and im still using the same computer like nothing ever happened to it. in summary this place is NOT to be trusted!!!! avoid at all costs before they rob you of your money!!

Have used them a couple of times and it is so much easier than going to the Apple Store. You drive up and they have a reserved parking space in front of the store... never had to spend more than 20 minutes there and staff is knowledgeable and very pleasant.
