Mike is a rockstar! And my go-to for any computer needs in future! Replacing my laptop battery, I managed to wiggle one of my SSD cards loose...couldn't get past BIOS after that. We're pretty tech savvy for laypeople around my house, so we tried reseating the SSD and a number of BIOS adjustments, no luck. Since my system is set up as RAID0, one part's failure means the whole OS, all my apps, and files, would be toast. Although I have cloud backup of most documents/files, losing my whole environment would be horrific. Found Mike online...he called back within the hour, and came to my house that same evening! He asked great questions, reviewed and tested a variety of software side things, all very methodical and logical, before moving to the hardware. Took apart the SSD, cleaned & reseated all the parts, noticed a virtually unnoticeable looseness in one piece... Put it all back together, and like magic, the laptop was up and running again. Mike wrapped up a fantastic experience by recommending a couple of full drive backup cloning/imaging solutions, and a few other things. Great expertise and critical thinking. Very reasonable rates too - he was so amazing, I felt almost guilty and rounded up. :) Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Mike as the guy to repair your computer. My Windows 10 desktop crashed with the BSOD and Mike was able to quickly diagnose the problem and bring it back to life at a reasonable price. The best part was he did it in my home, with no charge for travel.

Our family can highly recommend South Shore PC Repair for your computer issues. We contacted Mike just 1 week ago after the box store where we purchased our computer only 2 years ago advised us that our hard drive was totally gone and we had no chance of recovery on any of our photos or documents Mike came to our home and evaluated the situation. He did concur that the hard drive was no longer good, but told us he would do his best to recover our lost information. Today, we were pleased to hear that he was successful in the recovery and we could not be happier with his work ethics. He quoted us a flat fee for the work when he first came and charged us exactly that with no other additional charges. Our computer is like brand new with all our previous programs installed. You will not go wrong calling Mike for your computer repair problems. He is an outstanding young business man!

I'm not sure why there was a bad review about this guy. He was great, communicated well, came to my house to look at my PC before seeing that he needed to take it home (free), quoted me a good price, took him home, fixed it in a reasonable amount of time (mostly waiting for the part to come in), drove it back to my house (free), and was generally all around a good guy. I haven't had any issues with my PC since for which I'm grateful. I don't think you will have any issues here. I'll use him again in the future if I need to and I think you'll be happy with him too.

I felt confident with Mike of South Shore PC Repair. He came to my home to repair my daughter's laptop, quoted a reasonable price to replace a logic board (much lower than the Apple Store's quote) and had to take the laptop to troubleshoot. He replaced the keyboard, logic board, etc. and delivered to me repaired and fully functioning. The fix was less expensive than having to replace the Apple MacBook. I would highly recommend South Shore PC Repair.

We had an issue with our home office computer and in panic mode we searched online and found South Shore PC Repair. Mike came out same day to our home office and diagnosed our computer immediately. It turned out our hard drive was beginning to crash. He suggested we replace the hard drive with the new Serial or SATA type vs. the old Parallel type. He took our computer and returned it next day. He was able to save all our data which he transfered onto the new upgraded hard drive, he added an external hard drive for backing up, and he cleaned up our computer from malware and internal dust. Mike is very knowledgeable, fair priced, honest and very professional. We will most definitely use South Shore PC Repair in the future for all our home and business computer needs.
