Brought a computer in for repair, they were unable to fix it...so I purchased a computer from them because I needed the info on the hard drive from my old computer...they proceded to install my old hard srive on the new computer but the kept the hard drive feom the new computer...the computer they sold me went dead after only 40 days of use...I went back to them to see if they could help, but they woukd not look at it unless I paid $60 first just to look at it...So I paid $60 for them to look at my first computer plus $300 to purchase the 2nd computer because they coulnt fix the first...now im out $360 and no computer waddayathink eh?... by the way I have computers I have bought for less than $300 from several years ago from other places

Asus laptop was stuck in the system start up page so I brought it to Showtime. They said it was looking like the hard drive was going to fail so they offered to replace it. Took 4 business days, got it back and it crashed again. Took it back the next day, they said they had transferred Windows which may have been faulty so they reinstalled Windows. Laptop crashed the next day so I brought it back. They worked on it for 3 hours and said the problem was now finally fixed. Brought the laptop home and it crashed again the next day. After all this, I brought the laptop to another repair company. They diagnosed the problem as a virus and fixed my laptop in under 3 hours. It has been running fine ever since. Long story short, these guys are morons who have no clue what they're doing.

I build my own computers. This is a one of a kind brick and mortar store for computer parts. There is no equivalent store left in the area. Carries bleeding edge components. Occasional leading edge stuff. Also has every cable, plug, connector, drive, hub, case, I have ever needed. The internet is a little cheaper, but If I can't wait, or I want to physically look at or handle the part, I come here. The staff is knowledgeable enough for my needs.

Do not go here! Horrible customer service. Was charged for doing nothing! Was not told of charge before I dropped off computer. Was told that they were going to find a screen to replace a cracked screen and was charged when they could not find replacement. When I talked to the owner, he immediately had an attitude and told me there was a charge and to get over it.

They don't even deserve one star. Based on the other reviews i am not surprised except for Robyn's review which was either written by the company or was a paid review because there is not one person in Nashua or Hudson that can say this company is anything but a group of con artists. I work for a software company and have had work contracted through geek squad as well as other third parties. Showtimes not only has no idea what they are doing but probably are the worst customer service to boot. Dropped off a $1,500 custom laptop to have the hard drive migrated to a solid state drive I explained that the drive was encrypted. They took a week before I had to call and they said the drive is broken. After driving down there and proving it wasn't they then say "OH we can't work with an encrypted drive!" and tried to charge me for work. Even though there was a post it on the screen reading "DRIVE IS ENCRYPTED" I guess reading is not the technician's (Name Noel) strong point. They then gave me the computer back to un-encrypt when and I got the laptop back it was missing the plastic light covers from the screen. They basically told me I must have done that even though its brand new. So on top of the technician not being able to read he also has no clue on how to re-assemble a laptop. In the end I told them my property was damaged and they said I should put some tape over it......Classy laptop repair. No thanks. Thanks for destroying my property Showtimes.

Fabulous customer service! I brought my pc in on Friday afternoon, signed up for Express service, which is $30 per hour more than regular service. They told me it would be 1-2 business days and they would call me when it was ready. That was reasonable. Saturday morning at 9AM I got a call that my machine was ready. Wow! They did it Friday evening and called me first thing the next morning to pick it up. The charge was only for one hour, which was very reasonable, and they did extras that I hadn't even asked for, but would have done myself. They: Downloaded MS Security Essentials Formated my old drive so it was ready to drag and drop files Downloaded all the Windows updates which would have taken me hours Cleaned up my old installations of Windows These guys totally rock, I am very impressed.

Aweful experience, would not recomend to anyone. After spending hundreds of dollars on ink refills here in the past I chose to use them for a computer issue. I brought in a lap top to be cleaned and restored to factory settings. This service cost me $120.00(which I prepaid) and I was told my computer would run like the day it was bought and would be finished before Friday. I hadn't heard from anyone, so I called close to closing time on Friday and was told it was not ready, but will be the next day. I called the following morning and someone told me they especially came in to work on my comp, but still needed a few hours. Once I finally took my lap top home and turned it on, it needed to configure and updated for over two hours! Come on! After being in the store for a week and $120.00 later! Computer does not run like the day it was bought, it is slower and all they really did was delete all the programs and earse the memory. Will never go there again.

Both times less than half the price of a big box store in the mall. I've also been very happy with the the service personnel. While they always seem to be very busy and buzzing around when I arrive, once someone is available to help I have their complete attention. They explain their fees in advance and that is a greatly appreciated. i

Heard about Showtime Computer from a friend who was always talking about their computer person called Noel. I finally contacted him when one day my wife's computer was hit with a virus. He not only fixed the virus but made numerous suggestions on how to make the computer faster. I've since bought numerous computers and other computer related hardware and have been more than pleased. You can buy a computer off the shelf or have them build you a custom computer. I've found them to be very knowledgeable, personable and helpful when discussing my needs.

Needed a cpu fan in a hurry until my broken water cooler got fixed, so i ask cashier if it came with brackets as i dont have any (mine is for 4 screws heat sink) he says it has everything i need in box, turns out its a clip type heat sink without brackets, i figure they must have the brackets in store then. nope they dont, i dont know how does a computer shop doesnt carry something so basic, cashier could've just told me since the beginning. wasted 25 dollars and 2 days, which i could've done online.

EDIT: Computer wasn't fixed. although the staff was friendly, my computer quickly went back to its previous, faulty state within a week of my so-called "repair". Pretty disappointed. Quick repair and a friendly staff. Plus they repair in house. Showtime is superior to any alternative.

Terrible Customer service.. very rude. Need a question answered? Machine needs to be in store and $60 dollar minimum to take a look at and "diagnose" even if problem/solution is known but lack resources. Too bad because I most definitely enjoy helping out small local businesses. Not this one.

Showtime is a small computer store that is crammed with a lot of equipment and accessories. They have repaired several laptops for me at a fair price. I have had good support on their refurbished equipment. Their prices are good and the people are nice.

Needed a cpu fan in a hurry until my broken water cooler got fixed, so i ask cashier if it came with brackets as i dont have any (mine is for 4 screws heat sink) he says it has everything i need in box, turns out its a clip type heat sink without brackets, i figure they must have the brackets in store then. nope they dont, i dont know how does a computer shop doesnt carry something so basic, cashier could've just told me since the beginning. wasted 25 dollars and 2 days, which i could've done online.

After 2 weeks, going round and round on the internet, 2 wrong part delivery’s, and no luck at Best Buy with my problem. The clerk at Best Buy gave me Showtime’s address. I walked into Showtime’s store and in 10 minutes was walking out with the correct part, install confidence, and at a LOWER PRICE than the internet and the big box stores. I am done spending my time doing another “Leaning Curve” troubleshooting my computer on my day off!!……….I feel Showtime will fix your problem and will not screw you in the process……Good people........Mark McD.

I would rate them 0 if possible. I called ahead asking if they would be able to provide me with a quote for an insurance claim, they said yes. I went into the store and they refused to write me a quote to replace the battery in my laptop unless I paid them a $59.00 diagnostic fee. Apex Computer gave me a quote via email without seeing my laptop... Apex gets 5 stars, Showtime gets 0.
