Went to PC Richard and Son’s to price some appliances for my kitchen remodel. While my daughter and I were there, Paul assisted me with finding all of the appliances that I needed. He was able to work out a REALLY great package deal for me for SUCH a fantastic price. I’m talking about a stove range, washer/dryer, dish washer, and range hood for like UNDER $3000- WHO DOES THAT??? And everything is name brand and brand new. If you’re in Philadelphia, I recommend coming here for your appliances/entertainment needs.

Bought a french door fridge. Delivery and installation went well until we noticed water on the floor. Delivery guys came back promptly and fixed the situation. Sales person was personable and accomodating to our requirements. Took the time to find the right product. I would watch out for extras they throw into the deal that may not be necessary. Got a good deal on the price and am happy with the product. Hope it runs well for a long time.

They didn't lie and tell me I couldn't get the features I wanted in my remote start system, like another big name electronic store did in an attempt to get me to buy a more expensive system. My installation was quick and easy and Felix, the installer, was very knowledgeable about the product, how it worked and gave me pointers on how to use the system. He also set it up for me on my cell phone (I had added the smart start system) and made sure everything was functioning properly before I left. I couldn't ask for a better experience, truly!

Went to P.C. Richards today and bought a window air conditioner unit. It was sold to me by Arty (I believe that's the correct spelling). A couple of things happened here: 1) During the process of purchasing my air conditioner Arty would not tell me how many days I had to return the air conditioner despite being asked directly "exactly how many days does 'a couple days' mean?" Now that I'm home and reviewing my receipt the receipt says: *If opened and/or used, this merchandise is non-returnable and not sold on a trial basis; If any repairs are required, service will be done in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty. This was a major red flag, and the reason I chose to write this review. 2) I could tell immediately that the customer service reps here work on commission, because while I was trying to ask Arty questions on two different units, he kept anxiously looking around to check for customers walking into the store. I could feel the insincerity in his politeness. 3) After we purchased the AC, we decided to browse their selection. We were AMAZED at the 40-60% discounts on open-box and display model items! The problem? Anytime we stopped and started looking at something, a salesman appeared behaving incredibly anxious (scouting for other potential sales), pushy, and expressing insincere politeness. Once they realized we weren't buying an item, they'd disappear without a word. 4) Before we left, we noticed that a display model of the air conditioner we'd just bought was selling for $120 less than original price. I approached Arty about it, and he told us that the display unit was "making a rattling noise." Maybe he was telling the truth, but I'm really inclined to believe he wasn't being honest. This is incredibly frustration coming from a company that displays honesty, integrity, and reliability on their website. 5) I wouldn't trust these reviews. I look at reviews on a daily basis on TripAdvisor, Google, Amazon, etc. and have never seen anything reviewed as highly as this store. I find it impossible that any commission-based store would review this high. Look at any car dealership and compare those reviews to these... Truth is, I'll always come here to check out the open-box and display model sales before making any big purchases (I probably shouldn't though) - other than that - I'll keep buying 99% of my products at Best Buy, Home Depot, and Amazon. TL:DR: Pushy commission-based salesman who lack integrity and honesty. Great open-box and display model sales. Apparently, they also don't allow returns?

Tony just had us go back to their store to switch out the draws with their show floor model, so I didn’t even have to wait for the manufacturer to send out a new one! Bought a refrigerator before 4th of July and was due delivery on 9 July 2019. During purchasing process, work order stated “DOORS NEED TO BE REMOVED”. Waited 3hrs for delivery and finally they call and say they're on the way (5pm). Arrives & begins to off load & unbox refrigerator. Old refrigerator (27”w) is larger than new (25”w)...doorway is 28” standard. So guy 1st says doorway is too small to remove old fridge. I prove him wrong w tape measurement and ask how did he think the old one was put in place (basement)? Doors have to be removed like workorder required. Then I tell him, just deliver my new one and we’ll worry about removal. Then out of the blue he says, “oh someone stole my tools at last job so I can’t take doors off”. Da heck? You knew ur tools were stolen PRIOR to arrival, so either your lying, lazy, or an idiot for driving, off loading, and unboxing just to not make delivery. Told the man, I WOULD SUPPLY THE NECESSARY TOOLS, I just needed my fridge. It was quitting time and he didn’t wanna work. Keep your product & return my money! I have no problem purchasing from your competitors. No sale, no commission!

I went in today to purchase a few appliances for a rental property. I met with Angelica, who was extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and pleasant. She was attentive, shed interesting insight into what I needed, and quickly showed me the items that I was looking for. It's rare to find an associate with a strong attention to detail, but also has excellent inter-personal communication skills. Later in the evening, when I needed to change the delivery time - (due to a scheduling conflict with my contractor) - I called Angelica, who assisted me with this change. Again, she went out of her way to ensure that everything was changed appropriately with dispatch and within my desired time frame. She even followed-up to let me know that the time frame was approved. This was my first experience at PC Richard & Son, so I am unable to review the appliances that I just purchased. However, based on sheer professionalism, courtesy, and knowledge, I'll definitely be back.

They are a hassle to purchase anything from. They will make up their own rules and charge you as they please. Our experience, especially working with the sales agent Ravi has been really awful from the get go. Who uninstalls and hauls away a stove hours before delivering the new stove? And then when you call them you are kept on hold for about a half hour. When you go into the store to speak with them they give you the run around and try to stall and in general are a headache. Please stay away and save money/headaches and purchase from anywhere else but here.

I would like to commend the sales experience that we’ve received from your employee, Major Brown. Based on what we told Mr. Major Brown about the purpose of the purchase, he was instrumental in showing us the price range and the quality of the kitchen appliances to suit our need. He is very knowledgeable about the various product lines and most importantly, he was not a pushy and in-your-face kind of sales person. Mr. Brown let us browse the floor inventory freely and yet he was available immediately to answer our questions. Don’t do it!! It is easier to Poke Hot needles in your eyes than trying to get service for something you bought that is under warranty!! 2 weekends ago I couldn’t even get a 4 hr window. Was told for a Saturday i would have to stay home between 7am and 5pm. Tech came had to order part , another Saturday I request a first appt cuz I have to leave house by 11. 2 week notice for this request. Call now and am told tech didn’t even start his day till 9am (but I had to be ready since 7am) and MAYBE he’ll be in your area by 1130 or so. No call no nothing to say hey, I see your request but we won’t make it in time. Oh you need another Saturday? Ok how bout 2-3 weeks out. Guess what will be expired by then? Yes my warranty ..... Well Played PC Richards ..... you screwed me and got my money for the product and extended warranty Never again!!

I had the best experience with my washer and dryer purchase and delivery. The day after I moved into my new home, I had scheduled another delivery through Home Depot. The appliances never made it off the truck because the measurements of the stairwell would not allow room for the washer and dryer. The delivery man from Home Depot was rude and unkind. When I purchased the new washer at the PC Richards - Paramus store last weekend, Mo was very professional and quick. He knew exactly what item would fit. After I arrived home we spoke a few more times and after I provided him with measurements he researched and found one of the only dryers made by Hotpoint that would actually fit in my home. The delivery for both appliances was today. Reggie was the crew leader. He tirelessly removed molding from my stairwell when he realized this would be the only way to swap out the old machines and install the new machines. It was a big, big job. And the entire installation took more than 2 hours. Reggie was professional and patient and the crew was also very kind. I am so grateful for the personal attention and care I received from PC Richards. I would recommend PC Richards to anyone and I feel certain that this company has been around so long because of its employees' strong work ethic and the company's mission to please their customers.

This evening, my boyfriend and I went to PC Richards in hopes to find a great TV for our new home.
