I made an appointment online to have an iphone 7 screen repaired. It said it could be done in a hours time. I get a call that Sunday saying they will not have a technician available until Wednesday. Ok fine I made the appointment. I drop the phone off Wednesday to be told they do not have the part in stock and it could take two to three days to be done. Ok fine I left the phone with them to pick up when it was done. Saturday comes and I get a call. They say they are sorry but the technician had a family matter and my phone was now not going to be touched till the next Wednesday. At this point I have realised I made a mistake by bringing my phone to this place. I had to be out of town for work so when the phone was ready I was 200 miles away and had to wait another day. In the end it was a 7 day wait just for them to even have the phone repaired. I will drive to the next apple location should I have another incident. The Geek Squad at Best Buy in West Lebanon NH is apparently too understaffed to satisfy customers need

This review is for Best Buy Geek Squad Car Stereo (Purchase and Installation) in Concord, NH. Mike, Nick and Rick are awesome. They are extremely nice and helped me pick out the least expensive items that they felt would suit my needs and did not try and sell me items that I did not need. Mike even reattached a loose carpet section in my SUV. They did a beautiful job and I love my new stereo system. Highly recommend them. Thank you guys!!!!!!

Terrible experience from moment entering store. grreter Mis-directed me to wait at phone counter; then waited then at geek squad area where I was ignored despite my appt time. Young woman rude and condescending; made it clear that my request (advised and diagnosed by Apple phone tech support already) for battery replacement was not something they wanted to do. Broke my tempered glass off in a million pieces($20.00 item) while simultaneously saying "this has to come off, and ignoring me reaching out for phone to carefully remove myself). Unable to replace battery after an hour wait "check back with us in a hour" directed to look around store or sit in a lone folding chair in s side corner of store! No explanations of why couldn't be done, "it wouldn't turn on so we put old battery back in, you gave to go to Apple " Apple set up my appt there as the geek squad is a certified apple center! Went to apple New batt inserted without issue Never was treated so loathley by a customer service person, I would never bring anything or purchase from Best Buy in the future.

I called and scheduled an appointment. Brought my laptop to have it looked at since it was shutting down a running extremely slow. After the tech looked at it he didn’t offer any suggestions as to what options I had other than replacing it. Looked to see when I had purchased it and the tech couldn’t find any record. So I went home and found my receipt. Turns out it was only 2 years old. My husband ran a security scan on it and now it is running fine. I would have expected that something so simple should have been diagnosed by a so-called geek squad.

I had an appointment with Justin George on Fri 9/20/19 at 7pm. Not only was he not there for our appointment at 7, but he checked out of the store at 6pm. He said he was extremely busy and he could see me at 7pm. When I got there after having major surgery I was so angry! Lucky my husband was with me to control my anger. How and why did this happen. We ended up having to go all the way to Providence Place Mall to the Apple store there, where they ended up giving us a new phone. We will never ever walk into another best buy again!!!!!!!! I had my new Sony Oled 65inch wall mounted yesterday. Antonio and I can't remember the other guy, they did an awesome job. They hid all the wires from not only the tv but the cable box, modem, and gaming consoles. They were also very quick and clean.

In the store service takes forever and they keep loosing the account so they send me to the 1-800 number which was even worse 3 phone calls to the corporate people and I kept getting hung up on and my service plans were all messed up from what they were supposed to be. Get protection through your provider never get anything through these clowns. I have never been so upset with customer service in my life.

I called the Geek Squad regarding a spam issue with a group posing as Microsoft Support... The 3rd party group through some means unknown to me locked up my computer and placed a pop-up on my screen saying I needed to call them to fix the virus that was in my computer. They would not verify who they were and eventually hung up. What a SCAM.... needles to say my computer was still locked up so I called the Geek Squad at 5801 N May Ave in OKC and the lady on the other end talked me through a fix at no charge. Kudos to the Geek Squad, a fix for free... WOW and they say nothing is for free these days.

Absolutely disgusted. I called ahead to make my reservation and explained to the service person over the phone that I have an iMac and was looking to add RAM to accommodate running multiple Adobe Creative Cloud programs at once. He said that I don't need more RAM (which I'm finding is debatable, depending on which "expert" you believe on the Internet). He suggested instead that I get a solid state hard drive to speed up the computer. I show up and have a VERY long wait (WHY did I make a reservation??) and the service person has no clue why I'm there. So I explain AGAIN what I already explained over the phone. I wait longer for him to go searching for the hard drive; he finally finds it and then he informs me that they cannot transfer the programs that are already loaded on my computer. So I tell him the guy on the phone told me you CAN. He goes to the back to talk to someone (presumably someone who is actually knowledgeable on this topic), then confirms that you actually CAN do this on a Mac. Then I complete the entire transaction (swipe my credit card and everything) and he suddenly runs to the back again. Then he comes back and tells me that you cannot put a solid state hard drive in an iMac (this seemed to suddenly dawn on him right after I swiped my credit card?). He voids the entire transaction and recommends the same type of hard drive my computer already has, but increase it to 2 or 4 TB. Fine, I'll try that. I leave my computer there. I receive a call two days later telling me that they can't put in the drive that "I" provided (I DID NOT PROVIDE IT. It was recommended by your uneducated employee). I call back later and am told that they can't swap out the hard drives because Apple has a "special adhesive" that they use and Best Buy doesn't carry it. Their solution was to recommend an external hard drive (which I already have and I am not a moron). I informed them that I WILL NOT be paying $200 for them to recommend an external hard drive to me. I received a full refund.

I deleted something important off my new laptop trying to reset it. I tried for hours to fix it. With school starting right around the corner I started to stress. It wouldn't even connect to the internet. I called geek squad after work, gave them a quick run down and they scheduled me right away. I had a quick errand to run beforehand. I ran 15 minutes late and he still took the time to help me. I worked with Devon (not sure of the spelling) and he was awesome. He fixed my laptop within 15 minutes and diagnosed my older one. Free of charge. He was very kind and patient and knew exactly what he was doing. Will be my go to for now on. Thank you again Devon for all your help.

By far the worst service EVER!!!!! I’m giving it a one star because I couldn’t put zero. I’m not a fan of giving bad reviews because I do understand that companies might have one mistake and I would never want to judge a company by one action. HOWEVER geek squad has done me wrong too many times now. My latest one has been a complete nightmare I purchased a stove a little less than a year a go and of course with its geek squad warranty where right off the bat the oven top was melting and knobs broke. I called in geek squad to see what the hell was going on because you would think that a stove is not suppose be melting! And that the knobs wouldn’t be so frágil to brake by just staring at it. Geek squad said that all they can do is replace the knobs and the melting situation wasn’t on them but that the stove wasn’t going to melt any further ( as ridiculous as it sounds that’s what i was told) They ordered the parts and said I had to wait 10 days for the part to come then schedule another appointment to get it replaced. I waited patiently but 2 weeks past and I hadn’t heard back. When I call in, they say that the part was ordered but they haven’t received it and that they will call me as soon as they get in. One more weeks passes and I haven’t heard back. at this point the stove has all knobs broken a melting top and for me to cook, I need to get a wrench to turn on the stove until the wrench no longer worked. I called again and was told that the parts are nowhere to be found and that they will submit a request so I can get credit to buy a new one but that process would take about 10 more days. At this point it’s been over a month! I am a foster mom of 4 so I’ve had the need to BUY food EVERY SINGLE DAY because I NEED TO FEED MY KIDS!!!!!! A couple of days ago I had to buy another stove because this wasn’t working for me. Imagine having to get take out every day for over a month! And while I waited to geek squad to resolve my issue I needed to feed my kids. Today I called again and they tell me that I need to wait to until next week because the credit was denied and the parts are still nowhere to be found. To sum it up the geek squad warranty is not worth it. They are a irresponsible and a bunch of con artist.

I have visited it a couple of times. I stayed for a long times in the lines. And, the guys have no will to help at all. And they have no experience with apple products at all. And they should mention that to the people. If you have any of apple products and try to repair it please go to "System plus Computers" in Miracle Mile Plaza.

The port on my computer needed to be replaced. Brady was the person who assisted me. When I went back in he said the info couldn't be backed up and the port couldn't be replaced. The mother board need to be replaced at a cost of around $500. I had the Geek protection, but the record showed it was for virus and malware removal. I told Brady I had the full protection. It took him quite a while to find the info. He didn't give up. I was covered and have full protection. Brady is great with customer service. Give him a reward for the extra mile he went to make me happy.

Insuring a phone is cheaper than others but their quality control on phones is awful. For the second time, GeekSquad shipped a defective phone. The first time, it had a cracked screen . . . not something you should miss. The second instance involved sending a phone that went black with 2 hours of use. Fortunately, I did not send the old phone back yet. BTW, they say they don't do next day delivery however, I called on Sunday and had a replacement on Tuesday.

I bought a router from Best Buy. Today Marcy and I had the day off. Geek Squad was scheduled to be here between 12PM-4PM. They never showed. They called while we were unable to get to the phone. Rather than show up (as they said they would) 4PM rolled around and no one had called or arrived to do the work. We wasted our day off waiting for them. They didn't make it right and so I canceled any future appointment, got someone local who will come out for less money, and told them that I would not be shopping at Best Buy in the future. No Customer care. Best Buy needs to get a new system and follow through on their commitments. Don't make people waste their day waiting for service that doesn't intend to come.

This is an electronic repair shop . Yet they do not repair cracked phone(electronic) screens. The staff was however very kind and helpful and recommended a place to fix the screen.

I usually wouldn't care if these guys just ripped me off but they've managed to do the same to everyone if you read the rest of the reviews. So far the only advice I can offer is Whitefish has a few much better and much more qualified options for computer services. Save your money and start there.

The best tech I know. I have bought Geek Squad services for seven years now. They fixed everything just Super. I was hacked twice, both times Geek Squad recovered 100% of my computer. I have never paid an extra fee, not once.

I have an iPhone 6S plus that needs a new battery. I’ve been to BestBuy three different times and each time they told me that Apple has a policy that battery recharge levels must be below 80% in order for them to be able to replace my battery. I called Apple and discovered it’s not Apple policy. I went back into BestBuy and they admitted it’s BestBuy’s policy policy & still refused to sell me a new battery. I’m spending 3 hours to get it serviced at an Apple store. I should have done this months ago. It's one thing to refuse service, it another altogether to lie about it and waste people's time. Avoid the lies and go anywhere other than BestBuy.

Sure, they may be a little more expensive than other places, but their service certainly makes up for that. The best part is they found me, I didn't have to look around for them to come and help. So very frustrating! On a Monday, my daughter dropped her phone and needed repair. She called around to numerous places to check pricing and availability. Apple sent her here to the Geek Squad- an hour away. BIG MISTAKE! From day one, they took her money as fast as they could, sent her off with promises of a new refurbished phone the "next day or at the latest 48 hrs". When that did not happen, she called multiple times (from work), followed the "track my repair" link, and got no where. No one returned her messages (mind you she had no phone and could only email from her computer). 4 Days go by, and the only update to her repair was that it was assigned to someone. Nothing else. So I called on Thursday and get told that they've encountered "multiple hiccups" and had to "over-night" the phone to California. Not once were we informed about this before they shipped it! When I found out, I was furious! No one bothered to return her call or update the system. They just sent it, and said "This is a new service we are doing with Apple, and they did not send us any phones to give out." I asked to speak with the manager, but he was on vacation that week. They hang up on me after I demanded that someone give me an update. I called back to speak to general manager, who was very kind and understanding, but could not offer me any other information except that the phone should arrive on Friday to California. She also offered my daughter a pre-paid phone while she waited for hers to be returned. Again, very kind. But here we are, 10 days after the phone was given over to Best Buy, and still no resolve. No one will return my calls. I've called daily only to be put on hold or asked my # for a return call that never happened. Tried to track the repair on line all week, and finally today it acknowledges the phone is now "in repar". I called to the Apple Depot in California, they told me they didn't receive the phone until Monday at 3:51pm (I guess over night isn't over night). Again, no phone calls returned, and the Geek Squad manager won't return from vacation until Saturday. That's almost a full 2weeks from when the phone was taken to them. My problem is that promises were made and expectations were not met. Run away with someone else's money, but don't live up to your end of the deal. Now if this happened in any other place of business, someone would have lost their job or heads would roll. Again, no return phone calls, no follow up, and not even an apology! Thing is, the phone could've gone to any other place to repair her screen and it would've been fixed in <48hrs.

Make your appointment early and before actually going there, call ahead to find out how long the repair will take. I was having an iPhone battery replaced using the Apple special $29 program. The first appointment I made was at 5:00pm on a Friday and it would have taken 2 hours (had I stayed), but the second appointment on the following Sunday at 3:00pm had the battery replaced in a half hour, which was much better for me. The second experience was much better than the first.
