Recently I brought refilled cartridges for my printer (workforce pro wf4730) and they don't work. After investigating it seems Epson has put special effort into making sure no one can use third party refill system. My problem is this: they should be putting that effort into making the printer print better. That effort should also include less ink or a variety of third party ink cartridges. I am really disappointed that this company put a restrain on the printer like that. Now, I am trying to return these cartridges, because the sellers are unaware of the new 'improved" epson printers flaw. It is not going to make me run out and buy their cartridges, or another epson printer. I have started looking at other brands all ready. When HP did the same thing, I stopped buying their printers. These printer companies are a lot like the car industry, they keep changing the style making it look like they are improving but keeping the same old technology. Making it like we are in the year 2000, but in true only 1899.

Epson XP-320 can't print black and white documents because the color ink cartridges are empty. Garbage printers, with bad software, made by people with no scruples. It would be a very easy software fix, but they don't have the integrity to do it.

Do not buy an Epson projector. Mine lasted 3 years and the optical engine failed. Under 5000 hours on the unit. 3020e. Called support and was told out of warranty. To repair they estimate 700 + shipping without any warranty of workmanship. I asked for 1/2 the cost to repair. No reply. Very poor customer care.
