REVIEWS OF Apple Burlington IN Massachusetts

Wish I could give them a Zero. Went there twice to get my iPhone 5 switched using my AppleCare because my headset wasn't working properly and my battery was completely consumed. They didn't let me switch it and just performed a restore which didn't help at all. Staff was very unhelpful and had to drive to Apple store at natick mall where the staff agreed instantly that I should get it switched to a new one because clearly it NEEDED to be.

Mark Lidano

The staff is always helpful

Debora DeOliveira

Really polite staff, they solved my problem (Ipad) only thing is if you want to be seen right away set up and appointment, because the place is almost always packed so I was put on the list and waited about an hour and half before they called me, so if you don't set up an appointment, as soon as you walk into the mall go to the store and put your name on the list and then go shopping while you wait!

Don’t make any appointments here. My first appointment was for a broken screen they told me it would take over 2 hours to fix. On the phone an Apple rep said it should be 15-30 min. I didn’t have 2 hours to waste in a mall. Then I go to the Burlington Mall and they got it done in 25 min. Different occasion a year later I made an appointment online for an other broken screen. I drove 30 min to the place, get in and they say they can’t take me today. Save your time and go somewhere/anywhere else.

Justin Vose

Thank you Apple for saving my iPhone that I lost 2 months ago you guys are the best.

SO MANY rude people work for this apple store. Honestly the worst I have been too. Yes, there are nice and helpful people, but the number of rude and unfriendly staff in this store is shocking. 0 star if possible.

juan cruz

The usual, friendly people, amazing environment and great courses for free

Bob B

Great service and faster than I thought it would be.

Jane Arsham

My experience with this store is primarily at the Genius Bar where the service has been professional and very helpful.

Moodie Moodie

Very Incompetent staff. Very unprofessional and not helpful. Jeff F at the Genius bar does not know the matter that he is talking about when it comes to product knowledge and store policies. Mark at the front door waiting for customers suggests that the third party made accessories are better than the Apple brand. What a terrible experience!

Jay Song

I give one star because that the lowest!

Daniel Smith

I'd rather visit the RMV than any Apple Store these days. It's always a soul destroying experience. Go in and spend 5 minutes registering. Wait for a text message when they are ready for you, then go back and wait a bunch more time because they're not ready. Then wait for another 10 minutes while they cash you out -- and all of this nonsense to get a replacement AirPod. The entire process should take 30 seconds, not 30 minutes. Horibble experience all around, as with every dreaded visit to the Apple Store.

Martha W

Great location. Temporarily CLOSED for renovations.

Michael J.

Snobs like all the other Apple stores. They must feed them Kool aid.

James Fisher

If I were writing this review a year ago, I would have given 5 stars. First of all, when you go into the store, there will be really long wait times. I'm personally fine with that, as it is a busy mall, and it's not really Apple's fault. My main issue is that some of the new employees are really rude. About 2 months ago, I went to the Apple store (with a Genius Bar appointment), and my MacBook, and I asked if they could install iLife '08. The Genius Bar employee that I talked to was really nice, and he worked hard by checking every single "free space" external hard drive that they had, until he found the disk image. He even asked if I wanted iWork '08 installed with it, and I said yes. At the end, he was nice enough to let me copy the installers to my hard drive, so I could install them on any computer I want. Overall good experience. However, the next time I went (about a month ago), was much worse. I made a Genius Bar appointment again, this time to get iMovie '06 reinstalled, as it wasn't working properly. Keep in mind, this was an old version of iMovie, but the previous time I went, the nice employee showed me that he had every version of iLife and iWork since 2005. This time, when I went in, I checked in, and was greeted by a different employee. I asked him if he could reinstall it, and he said he could try. He pulled a free space hard drive, looked on it, and said it wasn't there. I asked if he could check another one, and he said, "If it's not on this one, it's not on the other ones." So I told him, "I came here less than a month ago, and I saw that it was on a different hard drive. Can you please check?" In response, he rolled his eyes, and in a sarcastic tone, said, "What, are you keeping track of what we have here?" I was kind of shocked that he was being so condescending to a customer like this, and the employees around him that heard looked surprised, too. I said, "I can see the drawer of free space drives behind you, can you please just check?" He replied by saying, "No, it's not on there." I realized that reasoning with this guy was a lost cause, so I packed up my computer and left. This was an overall bad experience, and after reading the other reviews here, I don't know if I want to go back to this store. I'm a big fan of Apple products, and have been going to this store for about 6 years now, so I'm surprised that customers are allowed to be treated like this.

Service slow and not very helpful

Scamming and taking people money when they not supposed to. Lying that to replace the home button on iphone 6 they have to replace the whole screen and home button is built into the screen when they can remove the home button, pair it with logic board and thats it. Apple stilling money from honest Apple product users. Btw it was confirmed with ex apple technician before I wrote this review. Thanks apple

Paw Pol Bos

I was shocked that they do not push everyone who purchased something to give address, phone number etc like they used to do 10-12 years ago. That is a big plus!

Michael E

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a very nice young Lady. I never felt Gang Rushed. I'm a little embarrassed that I forgot her name. I explained to her my issue and she never took her eyes off me or that I was boring her. I want to tell her that she Deserves a Raise. She had another Rep Come Over who was outstanding. I can't believe I forgot her name also. What I do remember is that I Left Happy and Satisfied.

Shady Hamdy

It's a great experience

Mike Athanas

Well this is not what to do to loyal apple costumer. We brought my wife's iPhone for an issue and a couple of apple defect cables for replacement. I asked Stacy for the replacement and she mentioned that they do not do that (contrary to other apple stores), I thought that was not right and asked to talk to the manager- Tobby , he came with a little attitude and said we do not do that- So mr Tobby you lost a $2,800 sale for your store, because we left and we want to the Nashua Apple Store we're the guys were very helpful and replace the cables no questions asked, so we bought two xs and one xr phone from them!!! I hope your manager take notes!!

Maureen OConnor

Absolutely awful. The wait was 2 and a half hours, as expected. They "fixed" the problem, but when I got home the original problem was fixed but other things were broken. Now I have to go back (because of course I can't get in contact with anyone by phone after an hour wait) and wait for I can only guess how long.

Denise Bastoni

The Burlington store is closed, there is sign to go their website ,, I did, and nothing about it is closed ,,it said. Hours are open. But it was not!!! ,!

Witty Gemini

This is probably the worst apple store one can go to. Please do not form your opinion based on your experience at the Burlington mall store because its an anomaly. One of the reason why I moved to apple products was because of their service levels at Natick Collection which I rate a 5* but Burlington mall store employees and the store manager do not believe in customer service. one of the big features for me to move to apple was because of their service levels in stores i used to visit at that time way back, but unfortunately for me the closest location now is Burlington mall store which i have used few times so far and none of those visits were good enough to wipe out my bad experience when i visited to bring to their notice that the charging cables were faulty and breaking (this is less than a year from purchase of 5) and the manager insisted that i dont know how to use my phone and or i have dog who chews away those cables exactly at the same place ( 3 cablesall failed at at the edge) and i do not have pets... it was ridiculous how the manager argued on and on trying to prove me wrong. just to prove it to him i went back with my old 4s and 3gs cables which are still working fine and all 3 of my lighting cables failed...he just wouldnt listen or he wasnt a genius enough to get it i guess :). Well bottom line is just an advice to new customers stay away from this particular store in Burlington Mall, i am giving 2 stars as i have in the past experienced decent service at this same store but its not good enough to erase my memories of the bad experience with store manager and 2 other geniuses. I have moved on to other stores including buying apple products from best buy just to stay away from this store i have driven about 50 miles extra to go to Natick when this burlington store is less than 2 miles from where i work :)

There is always a wait here, but they always fix every problem I have a without feeling like I am bothering the technicians.

Nedim Celik

The specific location is OK, but I strongly object the way Apple stores treat their customers. Coming in for repairs is always an ordeal and includes long wait times. "go there and wait" does not make it feel "premium" or makes one feel respected.

One would think that if the machine that is needed to replace glass on an iphone is broken that the staff would check the notes of people coming in that day, to the Genius Bar, to have their iphone glass replaced and let them know not to come in. This would have saved me a unnecessary trip in today with my elderly wheelchair bound mother.

I went here to get my iPhone 6s battery replaced and they told me it would take 45 minutes. I returned 50 minutes later and I was greeted by a very nice saleswoman who said that my iPhone wouldn’t turn on after the replacement. Apple then decided to give me an entirely new iPhone 6s for $53, the price of the battery. I was very pleased with the staff and how they quickly dealt with my problems. I will definitely return in the future!

Meghan Heydt

Staff were super helpful and fixed my phone quickly!

Brian Fong-Murdock

Cant tell who the staff are.

Patricia Coughlin

Store is fine but the Apple Company sucks. Not everyone has the time to navigate their websites to remove things from their bill. It is absolutely crazy that you can't speak to a person to resolve issues unless you go to a store. I blame Steve Jobs and Apple for making us a society that has less and less interpersonal skills. Just how I fell. Now pick up the phpme

Asheer Sharman

My family and I had an excellent experience. My 10 year old son had an issue with his iPad for which he had painstakingly saved up for. We brought the iPad into the store and the staff was very understanding. What I was most impressed with was that the manager Todd was able to look beyond some of the corporate barriers and see the situation for what it was, a 10 year old customer filled with idealism who couldn't understand why the iPad he had saved up for suddenly stopped working. The manager and the staff worked hard to help find a solution that was both cost effective and satisfying to their biggest fan! Its nice to see a big and profitable company like apple employing people who understand that customer satisfaction lies in the delicate interpretation of each unique situation

Raghav Gupta

My experience has been pretty good here. They have courteous staff. Have all devices if you need a replacement right away. Just like any other Apple store in terms of look and feel.

Steve Pilla

Went for tech help. Got the sales pitch the the "we don't have the replacement in stock" line. Another trip to take care of the issue stinks. They don't seem to care about your time.

Michelle W

This place has always treated me well.

Over rated and overpriced

PM

I’ve purchased numerous items to include 12 computers 3 Apple watches 10-20 I phones for my businesses. This is by far the worst serviced Apple retailer I’ve ever dealt with. My Apple Watch fell apart during a buisness meeting... brought it in for repair at 6:30 and the manager told me they can’t do anything for me till Next wednesday. That’s 6 days from now. What ass backwards reality is that? They clearly do not care about there customers. Never again will I purchase anything but necessities from Apple with this kind of service.

Linda Cataldo

Terrible, I went to Apple for an upgrade and I have an IPad. Everything in sink until I called Apple about a message on verification. The agent shared my screen but was unable to see issue and suggested contact T-Mobile. Since the call my apple devices are not in sink and I am recieving promotions from computer companies that do not include unsubscribe. He created the problem.

Rose Keeffe

Very helpful and patient staff! They helped me chose the right Mac when my poor old Pro died unexpectedly, may my sweet HAL rest in peace. My new air is perfect and all my files were transferred perfectly! I have named him Allen, for Allen Turing.

Grace Ackerman

Took my iMac there when system update would not finish. Made "Genius" bar appointment. They kept the iMac overnight and in the AM proudly presented me with the upgrade which had taken 18 hours to load, and declared my problem solved. Clearly 18 hours for an OS upgrade wasn't right, but they refused to do anything further, as now there was, in their minds, no problem. I called Apple's national line, and they sent a technician to my house who diagnosed and replaced my overheating hard drive in 1/2 hour. Now the problem was really solved. Please note, this problem was about 3 years ago. Hopefully they have improved since then, but I'm not going back.

Mike Levine

Miserable experience as always.

Gina Fernandez

No I'm not a huge fan of Apple unfortunately my kids want to FaceTime so I relented and got an apple I have to say there Apple for dummies class was quite informative and have patience with an apple virgin like me

kingpinskinnypimp .

They talk to you like a child and force you to come back 4 hours later to even see you. They wouldn't even take my phone and just let me pick it up later when it was fixed.

Hannah Riddle de Rojas

The staff at this store were super helpful, I had what I needed and was on my way within 20 minutes. I was shocked how quickly I was set given that I went on a Sunday and the store was packed!

xuke fang

Horrible. Made an appointment 3 days ahead and they still let you wait for an hour. It seems like no body actually cares. Apple is getting worse!

Ed G

One of the rudest people I have ever met works in this store. Went into store to return product and did not have my receipts. They basically accused me of stealing product. When I did find receipt in my old emails they would not take product back due to it being past 30 days. Totally understand and I have no problem with that and that policy although in past there were managers that let me return past 30 days. The attitude of the floor manager who thought she was queen for a day was pretty pathetic. I would like to say that in past all employees there have been extremely helpful and courteous. Our company spends quite a bit of money at Apple and we were thinking about changing infrastructure to include Apple products. Now, not a chance.

clint conley

A note of praise for Karl Schmith--professional and caring. I bought an iMac and took it to the set up table, where several employees were flummoxed trying to set up my email. I was told I could come back to the genius bar 3 hours later. Come on, I just plunked down a pile of dough, help a brother out! They drifted away and left me just standing there with my new computer. So I started throwing it back in the box, pissed at being abandoned. Karl, who'd sold me the computer, spotted me, asked if everything was ok,helped me pack it away and offered to help with the problem, but I just wanted to get out of there [work day!] So...Five Stars for Karl. The others not so much

Aswome service for anything apple. The people who work there are very professional and friendly. The wait time varies depending on volume. The weekend is busy.Durring the week is better and durring the mid day is best.

The worst Apple store I ever been. The so called “Genus Apple” had no idea about Apple software and they gave me different answers, then he told me you have to buy a new phone! Very loud and crowded. I am giving two star just for the location. Disappointed experience and I never coming back again.

Edie B.

I like the Burlington store. I find the staff helpful, considerate, knowledgeable. My experiences with the Genius Bar have been superior. If one takes the time to write a description of the problem(s) you are experiencing, the staff will be able to assign the appropriate staff member to your problem. The staff are constantly bombarded with questions and requests for assistance. Give them some leeway and consideration and you will find your technical problems assessed and solutions provided.

Alexandra Ruban

We bought our very first Apple product mid January MacAir at the store, but were never told about additional Apple Care warranty option. Than two months later, the screen started to flicker, and than went dead. Closed the top, opened and there was a hairline crack. Went to the store to figure out what to do. 1) were made to feel like idiots that we didn't know about the additional warranty 2) explained that they didn't want to "upsell" that is why they didn't mentioned it 3) for almost everything referred for us to go online to research 4) said that it wouldn't be covered under one year warranty, though laptop was not dropped, had no outside damage (screen hairline crack) and has been used for less than 3 months 5) couldn't give us any print outs -- Apple Care; regular warranty, etc. Overall our experience -- the store doesn't care what it sells, expects customers to know about the product/service/warranty/repair ; the general attitude "buyer be ware"

Max Ivy

I brought my phone because I had issues with it & they couldn’t helped me bad experience

I'm not sure why others reviewed this store so low; I wonder if they had unrealistic expectations (as many people seem to have for Apple). For me, this is my go to Apple Store. Conveniently located and making a repair reservation is never usually longer than a day or two out. Service reps are very friendly, knowledgable, and never bat an eye when I ask a couple tangential questions beyond what I put a ticket in for. In short, they offer the excellent customer service that I love and expect from Apple. Like any store, though, there are things to keep in mind. Need a repair? Make a reservation ahead of time online. Otherwise you may wait a long time in-store. Want to buy something? Check to make sure they have your specific item (with your specific specs) in stock. These stores can't keep everything under the sun in stock, but they can always have it delivered if you order it ahead of time.

Roberto Gonzalez

Very friendly associates and listened to the questions you have, very interesting

Alan Tauber

As apple stores go, this has always been one of the best. They just go a little extra to make your day go better. They may suggest a free program, a little 30 minute course during the day or the evening. They might say they hate screen protectors so save $40. Yeah very low-key get the job done quick and well and good advice with friendly people what more could you ask?

Had to seek the attention of the greeter instead of being met. He was rather sullen. Genius bar had been removed. Not the service I have come to expect at an Apple store.

Great customer service. I was in the area during a weeknight and needed some assistance with my phone so I brought it in and they replaced the screen under warranty within a couple hours. I then noticed that the phone itself had a slight bend to it so I brought it to their attention and they agreed to replace the entire phone and it was fairly quick.

John Kimmel

Had an appointment for a screen repair. After two hours and $169 finally got my phone back. Got home to find out the camera no longer works. After thirty minutes on hold with store got put on hold and hung up on. #applesucks Update: after much effort on my part, they did repair my phone and refund my money. I’m happy with the end result but it should not have been this hard. Apple at a corporate level needs to seriously evaluate and change its customer service policies.

This place has always treated me well.

Mike Levine

Miserable experience as always.

kingpinskinnypimp

Went in due my 1yr old iPhone 10max lighting cable coming apart at the phone connection end. I was told that the part is not covered for a replacement and I would have to buy a new cable because they can see the physical damage to the cable. The staff there was useless and displayed ZERO customer service or showed any care about what is most people should consider a major defect when it comes to the Apple cable. $1000.00 phone .33cent cable. Let’s get it together Apple. Thinking twice before buying another Apple iPhone. This Burlington store has left a very bad taste in my wallet.

Save your precious time and avoid this store. If you want to browse around and get the friendly staff to show you cool features then by all means visit the store. If instead you need actual help with anything a bit more complex then forget it. You are better off following instructions online. I went to the store hoping to buy an expensive new iMac. I needed help transferring data from two old iMacs. I called them and spoke with the manager who was friendly on the phone. She convinced me to stop by the store and they would solve my problem with the Data Transfer service ($99) which I am happy to pay. I lugged around both my iMacs across the mall into this store. They helped me quite promptly (15 mins wait) but basically they weren't able to help me. First, the iMac I wanted (Core i7 / 3TB drive) can only be ordered online. In this store they only have Core i5 / 2TB drive. Second, the Data Transfer service only covers ONE computer but not both my iMacs. That got me quite upset. Last, they don't do trade-ins on the store! Really!? You have to submit a form online and they will send instructions via mail. The store is a perfect location for this service. They could've told me all of this on the phone and I would've avoided the trip. Save yourself time and avoid this store.

NEVER coming back to this store for business I was at Apple store yesterday in Burlington, MA to get apple care on a MacBook Pro I got from my brother. I had been to a different apple store the day before and the staff told me that they needed to see the macbook in person. I told them I don’t have it since it was for my brother. He said I could just get the box to an apple store and they would be able to check the serial number and help me with the purchase. I should mention that I was planning on buying it in store so that I could get back to school pricing (I wasn’t able to get that to work online). Anyway, when I showed up to Burlington store, I was greeted by a staff member. I told her I am looking for apple care on my macbook pro and even before I could finish, she said I need to see the mac in person. I told her I got the box with me since I was told at Apple Store in Salem, NH that I could get it added after you looked up the serial number. I asked her if she could ask manager about it because I don’t get why I can buy it online but I need the mac in store for the purchase. She started spinning the story about how this is “back to school” time and there might be water damage on mac so they want to check for it before adding care. When I requested is she could ask the manager she told me she has been working there for 5 years. Firstly, I don’t care how long she has been working for and I didn’t appreciate the fact she was already hinting at accusing me of having water damage on a new mac. Also, when I asked her to go check with a manager I saw her talk to a male staff member and come back to me with the same response. I know he wasn’t the manager. How you may ask? When I went back to the same store the very same day with the mac I asked the staff member what was the name of the manager and it was definitely not him (since the manager is a lady). I got the macbook to the store the same day since my brother lives not too far away from the mall. The staff this time looked at it, superficially saw all sides (I don’t know what he was trying to see since the mac was in a case) and then he got the serial#. I mean if you needed the mac in person, atleast run the damn diagnostic! As a customer who has brought various apple products over many years, I wanted to know why I could buy the apple care online but I needed the mac in person to buy it in the store. I just needed an explanation before paying over $200 for a service. As much as I love apple products, I avoid going to an apple store because I absolutely hate dealing with the ‘geniuses’ throwing attitude at customers. I don’t mean to undermine the job they do but you have to understand that in such an industry, a single bad experience brings bad name not only to the company but the store. I don’t think I would ever go back to Burlington store after this experience. As a customer, I have a right to information and people you train to be working on genius bars should know better about how to deal with customers. Maybe there was a slight break in protocol and I was given wrong information by the staff in Nashua, I would much rather hear that and an apology from the staff member than schooling me about how I might have already damaged my 3 week old mac and now I need coverage or how they have been working there for 5 years and I should take their word for it. I feel Apple as a company should invest more in training and hiring staff fit for customer service type role. It’s not everybody’s cup of tea and one such employee can ruin the outlook of the entire team.

Lynne Fremont

Loud, excessive waits for assistance & confusing. Pricing exceeds Best Buy - on one model by nearly $300. The staff is nice enough, but the experience was annoying.

I went to apple store for my iPhone 5 not charging sale person very helpful. & fix my phone problem .mean time I was watching other people bring there apple product most of people got response asap. Very rude!!! I went in there today to talk to someone about buying/upgrading a phone. Once it became clear to the sales person that I had a few questions before making a purchase, she quickly moved on to another customer who was ready to buy a phone—-right in the middle of my question—without any explanation. Definitely going elsewhere!!

some of the sales people lack the patience to listen to customers' problems otherwise the majority are pleasant, knowledgeable & very helpful and honest.

My experience with the Apple Store was down right horrible. The employees are totally incompetent and indferent to my problems, and don't get me started on the customer service.I got to the mall around 5 p.m. ish.I got a quick bite to eat and then wasted 30 min looking for the store. When arriving at the store I expected to be greeted by the employee at the front of the store. You know the one who's job is to I don't know greet you at the door. What I was faced with was the exact opposite I had to say hello and get his attention, weird right? He sent me to another guy with an IPad who straight up ignored me till I coughed so much to the point where the appropriate response should have been to offer me a glass of water or medical attention. He eventually booked me an appointment at the geinus bar and I left the store to waste even more time.I got a text that said a spot would open soon so I rushed downstairs before the decided to be total jerks and give the spot away or something.I waited for a full forty minutes before asking the distracted man with a ipad where I was on the wait list only to be told he had no access to those systems and sent me to you guessed another distracted guy with an ipad.He told me that the was no spot open and that it was my own fault for coming to soon. That was the first clue that buying a apple product was a horrible mistake. My second clue was when the manager who shall now be named Capt.Obvious came over and started talking to me and said I'd been waiting a long time and throughout the conversation I thought he's going to call over an employee any day now.Boy was I wrong, he gave me a business card and walked away.Another over went buy until a supposed "genius" came over to tell me my product suffered irreparable physical damage and couldn't be fixed.I sat there thinking isn't all damage physical? He then continued on to say that my headphones which I bought for 269 could be replaced 330.Take my story as a warning and shun apple

Alan Mathiowetz

A big disappointment. I was looking to make a quick purchase of an iPhone but the process took so long. The sales rep's constant upselling of every little feature and add-on was as annoying as any place I've been. On the bright side, at least they provided a few nice services to get the new phone up and running.

Matt Ortolani

Good. Packed a lot. Just walk up and ask someone for what you want. Know what you want before you get there. Get accessories on Amazon from reputable sellers. :) or from the store if you don’t end to search for them online.

Very unfriendly employees and not helpful. I brought my wireless keyboard to the store to check one of the keys. When asked what I should do, the person who making the appointment for me said, with a very cold voice, "you can either wait for at least 49 minutes or buy a new one." When I said the second option sounds a wired one and he then just used the look like "bring more money or swallow it." Where did you get these bad people, Apple? When you make a product having problem you just ask your customer to buy a new one? No more my money at the store.

I arrived at 6 p.m. they told me it would be a two-hour wait when I finally saw someone at 8 they said your repair would take just over an hour and that they would be closed and to come back tomorrow I fought with them until they took my phone in for repair and fixed it not a good way to start my experience with Apple

Avoid their 'service' department. 'Rick' is the most condescending individual I have ever encountered at that store. Asked about getting an iPhone 4S screen repaired and a quote. Rick said that they do not do repairs on 4s, but I can buy "another one" for 199.00. Now mind you, he didn't even ask what size my 4s was apparently pulled this figure out from the sky. When I asked why Apple's main office gave me a quote over the phone [they did, for 129.00] and was told take it here, he cut me off and said "We don't repair those phones" as if I were a 5 year old who cannot listen to instructions. Hubris catches up with you. Hope to see you mopping floors soon, 'Rick'.

Ok, I must preface by stating that I am not a complainer; Not by nature anyway. I hate it. I think it is a real poor show of character when someone goes about bashing hard working folks doing the best they can. That being said, I just want to share with you what I think is just craziness. Rewind to just yesterday. There I was in the Apple Store, looking for my new computer. A salesman helped me with some info, and I went to get my wife who was shopping so I could get her approval. Once I returned to the store, I noticed the man I was speaking with was busy, so I waited patiently by the Macbook Pro display where we had left off. Not a minute later, this same salesman? genius?, we'll just say guy. This same guy comes over to me with another couple and they legit, no exaggeration, came within a hairs length of me to move me out of the way to look at this same Macbook Pro that I was looking to buy. (not literally as it's just a display, but.. same model) I realize that it can be hectic in such a busy store, and while it upset me quite a bit that these three removed me from my spot without a word, I bit my tongue and waited patiently for this guy to finish with the couple, who were very vocal that they were not buying today. (I was so ready to buy right then and there) I kept my eyes focused on this guy so he knew I was there to buy. I had my new Barclay Card IN HAND ready to pull that trigger. But to my dismay, he just walked away form me. Ignoring me. And not just him, but every other person working in that store, despite my looking around, waiting there patiently, just ignored my presence. Perhaps it was my shorts, or my t-shirt, but let me be clear, they lost a good sale. I am not one to go tracking down a person to do their job, and I am OK with buying something else I suppose. What a crazy experience. Right there. Ready to buy. And even the guy that knew I said I was coming back just ignored me. Total silliness. The End.

When I think "Apple", I think of excellence and production. But it appears there are a lot of Buttheads working in the Burlington Mall store, who may be smart but have horrible work habits. My rough guess is that 2 out of every 3 employees are slackers, wishing they were elsewhere, doing something else. There is a true art to talking with (not "to") the customers, and this skill is lacking at the Burlington store. I have some loose marbles, and needed to do some odd "attention getting" to finally (after 2.5 hrs wait time) get my phone repaired/replaced for $99 under my original AppleCare+ ($129) warranty. The final rep (Danielle D.) was Excellent!

I would recommend to buy apple products because customer service is the best I was very impress.. thanks to all sales person at Burlington apple stores. great positive body language. good service. thanks.

Michael Scott

They are very good at taking your appointment. They are not very good at sticking to their times.

Helped me and answeeed all my questions

Adrienne

Very rude!!! I went in there today to talk to someone about buying/upgrading a phone. Once it became clear to the sales person that I had a few questions before making a purchase, she quickly moved on to another customer who was ready to buy a phone—-right in the middle of my question—without any explanation. Definitely going elsewhere!!

wellington mtshali

some of the sales people lack the patience to listen to customers' problems otherwise the majority are pleasant, knowledgeable & very helpful and honest.

Matt Ortolani

Good. Packed a lot. Just walk up and ask someone for what you want. Know what you want before you get there. Get accessories on Amazon from reputable sellers. :) or from the store if you don’t end to search for them online.

Patrick Balduchi

Store was full of customers and I was still in and out in under 60 seconds with the product that I was seeking. Granted it was only a lightning plug to audio adapter, but still… Pretty damn efficient and helpful.

Praveen Kumar

Long waiting time. Rude customer support.

Customers and employees are suck .specially the Apple store in Lynnfield Ma At the lynnfield Plaza. Some of the employees want to take your phone away for nothing instead of to help you with the issues.they don’t helpful at all.

I came out here to see an advocate agency and went here instead to the Burlington Mall hoping to work on my wikipedia page. The people were so awful to deal with in this Apple Store. This is your standard mall Apple Store however the energy of avarice from the customers was intolerable. There are hiring signs for food service at this mall. Who can afford to live anywhere near here to work for peanuts. So the store there are just a bunch of creepy fake customers everywhere.

Patty .

Crowded, crowded, crowded. Make sure you have an appointment if you need to get a device looked at. Staff very friendly and helpful but expect to have your device sent out for repair.

S Sha

The customer service sucks here. Couple of guys I spoke with were so rude. They talked in loud voice and in a manner I have not seen in other places. I have been to other Apple stores but some guys (not all) in this store made me wonder what kind of employees they have.

Isadora Silva Andrade

I would give a 0 if I could! You need wait FOREVER for simple issues!!!

I am only writing this review to praise the wonderful employee, Drew, who helped us the other day at the Genius Bar. Unfortunately Apple doesn't have an 'employee review' tab on their website, if they did I would have sent this review straight to the company itself! Drew was nice, happy, and really helped my friend and I out, making my 'christmas mall experience' pleasant, instead of stressful as I had expected from going to the Apple store this time of year. Thanks Drew (from Sacramento)! I hope you managers see this review and acknowledge your expertise and great customer service skills

Juhan Sonin

Typically a very good (albeit crowded) and customer-focused service. I've brought several machines in for genius appointments and repairs and the Apple Burlington care has been very good.

Jacob Vitali

I visited this store as I was preparing to purchase a new laptop. Having spent most of my life using Microsoft based machines, I found myself with a lot of questions. However, as I begin to work in my field of study, I require a computer capable of handling a heavy workload and the option of Final Cut Pro looked very appealing. I spoke to Sam and she was very helpful and honest in directing me towards the MacBook Pro and the proper specifications for what I need. She was very patient as I went down my long list of questions. While I did not buy a MacBook Pro that day, I did purchase one a week and a half later and am very satisfied with my purchase.

Rachel Thurston

Was told the wait was 25 min. After over 1 hour, finally got 'checked in.' Why do I have to check in and wait for a tech just to hand them my phone?? The regular customer service people can't do that for some reason.... The fix also took 1.5+ hours when they told me no more than 45 min. I was also told the wrong price when I checked in. Finally, one of the greeters was very rude and seemed to not want to help. She said that she should not give me a time estimate and had no way of knowing how far down the list my name was. Based on my experience here, I will no longer be buying Apple products.

Ariolga Angeles

Really good Apple Store with knowledgeable staff. Often is very busy so making appointment ahead is a good plan.

Adi Prajapati

The workers there are clueless about other tech companies when I asked them to compare their products to other devices. Practically all the workers are apple fan boys and will buy any product that they produce no matter the cost. The whole time they were trying to get me to switch from Samsung to apple phones. Overall the place and experience was terrible. So if you are in the mall don't go there.

Joy Acharyya

Store was especially crowded during the holiday season but employees had a very good and hitech way of managing people. Service was good and they took care of the problem we had with our phone. There is one problem with them and apple in general. Our iPhone 6 died very soon after a OS upgrade. This is a known issue of iPhones and ours is not the only such case. However, when we reported the problem, the store employees were defensive and tried to convince us that this could due be other things as well. However the first thing they tried is to change the battery. I guess they have to somehow justify the customer paying for the battery replacement for a problem created by Apple company itself. When a company and their employees do not take responsibility of their products, then it is difficult to justify a high rating for them.

Tina

Horrible service. Came in when store opened and got my queue. Once they texted me I went back to check in and waited another hour. Four people came after me and got help before me. Told them I had an appointment to go to and nobody care

Amy dealt with my battery issue on my IPad and determined that the battery tested in the failure range. At this point it was determined that the IPad would be replaced. Amybwalked me through all the steps to transfer info to the new IPad and answered the questions I had. It was a good experience.

I wanted to try a MacBook, so I came here and bought one. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Decided two weeks later that I didn't want a laptop after all and decided to return it (great machine, just didn't want any kind of laptop it turns out). Returning was super easy, there was no fuss and I was in and out in 5 minutes. Will definitely shop here again.

Matthew Liptak

My opinion of this store has totally changed. Went in here the other day to return a watch band that I did not want or use anymore and they treated me like I was trying to steal a macbook or something. The girl "checking people in" whatever that means, needs a class on customer service and stop trying to act like an elitist, hate to break it to you, you work at the Apple Store, not Neiman Marcus, so stop acting all holier than thou. She got heated because she could not simply process what I was trying to do and her thought process could not keep up which sounded strange coming from anyone in a customer service sales role. Apple Stores have gone way down hill the last few years and it is because of employees like this that have made the stores crash and burn. I try not to go into these stores anymore due to this reason but I had to go in and this place is terrible.

Wendal Blaze

Store is closed for renovations maybe they should put that somewhere like on the google result

I wished I could give it a zero star. In short, they are not friendly and made up their own policy that are inconsistent with Apple's policy. A bit background of us, we have bought so many Apple products including refurbished products, MBP, Mac air, iPad, iPhone 3,4,5, iPod, you name it, and never have an issue with the product quality and we really enjoy our early purchase experience at Boston Copley and Lechmere Apple stores. But, not this time at Burlington Apple Store. So we ordered a refurbished iMac in Apple online store and found the screen was broken upon arrival! So we called the online customer service immediately and they told us we could either wait for up to 14 days to get a return label or we can just drop off at the nearby Apple store. We felt disappointed about the defect product and decided to rent a zipcar to return it to the nearby Apple store, Burlington and maybe to pick up a brand new one afterwards. On the next day Sunday morning, my girlfriend and I were greeted by Shawn and a lady, maybe one level above of Shawn, in Apple store at the Burlington Mall. They refused to take it back and said since it is a refurbished product, it should not be returned to the Apple retail store. They insisted us to ship to Apple Store directly. I usually will agree to whatever apple staffs' opinions since they show that they care their customers and often go beyond to make their customers’ Apple store experience enjoyable. This time I knew in the back of my head that the Burlington staffs just wanted to avoid hassles to talk with Apple online store or refurbished product department regarding our order. So, they wanted to send us away. So here are the policy found on Apple, which very clearly state that standard refund/return policy apply to refurbished products as well, so it should be no problem for Shawn to accept the product. I am ok with receiving a defect product; I mean human error happens. But it is the experience with Shawn and the Burlington’s staffs made us very uncomfortable. They could have taken the initiative to help us send it back to online store. I see a different Apple spirit to its customers from them and I hope it is only the issue with that store.

Jacob Forosisky

I had gone to this store for a iPhone 6 replacement and I had gotten what I needed in the matter of 15 minutes. The only problem I had was the sloppiness, I was looking at a table with the speakers and a Genius Bar person was working there.

Ethan Andersen

It's an Apple Store. But it's packed!

Diana Wasiuk

Need more staff. It is a very busy spot and they don't have nearly enough staff. Appointments booked up to a week in advance! And they 'encourage you' to try for a waiting list each day but you have to physical walk into the store each day to get on a potential list!

Natalie Kostich

I had a Genius Bar appointment scheduled for January 1st. To double-check and make sure the store was open, I called the store directly and of course only reached a recording, confirming that it would be open. When looking on google, the store appears as "closed" on January 1st. Seeing as I live far away from the store, I changed my appointment to another day so as to avoid the risk of driving all that way only to find it to be closed. How can the apple store website and information on google be inconsistent? This is Apple after all?! Extremely frustrating.

William Sweeney

Booked appointment at Genius Bar 3 days in advance. (Stupid name. ) 35-40 minutes after scheduled time, I gave up and left. Nate ( manager) apologized and said algorithm used to schedule. I told him algorithm sucks because it does. If behind, tell people when they arrive, set expectations and be honest. Oh and for god sake eliminate those useless front people and save everyone a few bucks in their overpriced product. Really really disappointed.
