Have been working with Atomic Geeks for years now... they sold me my first laptop, repaired an old desktop PC, built another PC for me when the old one died, and recently sold me a new Dell desktop when the one they'd made wore out after seven years of hard use... transferred data flawlessly each time, even when an old machine was a total loss. Skilled, helpful, respectful, and prompt. Highly recommended.

Gave them my portable hard drive back in July. The originally said it would take about a week for them to see what was wrong with the drive and let me know if they could fix it. A month goes by I call them and they say they will check and call me back. It's now September they say they can get the information off the drive for $3500. No thank I say I will go some where else. Please return my drive. It's February and I am still waiting on my drive to be delivered. We have called multiple times to try to get the drive back. They won't let us go to them they have to come to us. They have said they were coming 3 times and never showed. When we call to set up a time for them to come it's a week and we call again. The worst part is my drive still doesn't work. Horrible service ! I could have had another company fix the drive by now but I can't get the damn thing back. Plus after all this they still want to charge me almost $200 !

I was searching on-line for a computer repair place. I saw Atomic Geeks and gave them a call. Bill Allen answered my call and was here in about 2 hours. After spending some time checking my old HP he told me that it had died and I'd need to get another one. I agreed to purchase a Dell from him so he left to pick it up, came back and installed it. All in all, including travel time, he spent 6 1/2 hours getting it ready for my use. He was able to take my hard drive back to the shop with him and download everything I had on it onto my new Dell. Not being very knowledgeable about the technology I am amazed that can be done. It has been a week, and to this point, I am completely satisfied with the computer and Bill. Pat C. Since I wrote this review, I've had a lot of problems with the computer. Many of my pictures were lost and I was unable to open a lot of documents. I eventually had to order and pay another $119.00 for Word. I also don't know what the security key is and don't have any information such as a disk or booklet to instruct me. Also, David connected me to a network and the printer listed is not my wireless printer - it is also unsecured. It is quite possible that the computer is a rebuilt one since a lot of the info I find was downloaded in 2009 or 2012. It appeared to be new because it was packed like one; however, I have doubts I was told the truth. I'm changing my 5 stars to 2. Pat C.
