I brought my laptop in after spilling a cup of coffee directly on the keyboard, I originally tried going to office depot and after trying to sell me a subscription (that i declined) they said, rather rudely, they would try to get my files and fix it but there were no promises and it would take a few days. Well I needed my computer ASAP so I went to facebook and asked for suggestions and pretty much everyone in Ascension Parish suggested Carl's and I can see why! I told them my dilemma and that I just needed the files off it and if they could save the laptop great if not I would junk. Not only were they able to retrieve my files but they were able to save my computer THE SAME DAY!!! Not only that, but their prices are sooo amazing! Will be recommending them to everyone I know! Fast, friendly, professional, honest and affordable! Taking your computer in for repair can be similar to bringing your car to a mechanic. You most likely don't know that much about what the problem is, how to fix it or how much it will cost. Essentially, they could tell you any number of things that are wrong, and charge you out the nose to get it fixed. My experience with Carl was anything but that. I brought my laptop in and was helped right away. He got to work immediately on my problem while I waited. I was in and out in roughly an hour with my laptop just as it was before it crashed, and I didn't lose any of my files or information! I was pleasantly surprised with Carl's, and if I ever have a need for computer repair in the future, I know where to go! Thanks again!

They were very friendly, very quick. It was maybe a few hours when they finished. They emailed you to keep you posted on everything that they did and fixed. The price was also very reasonable, I believe it was 35 as drop off, just so if you dont pick it up, they earn a little money. And a 61 dollars after they finished. I had my computer completely whiped, nothing on it was that important to save. They did a lot more to it than I thought they would, they went up and beyond my expectations. I will reccomened anyone to them if they have problems.

I brought my alienware laptop to him so that he could take it apart and replace the battery and he did so quickly and communicated with me the whole time! He was incredibly nice and helpful, and cleaned and repaired tiny external damages to my laptop without cost. He was accommodating, quick, helpful, and inexpensive, and I sincerely cannot recommend him enough!! If you need something repaired, go to him!

I have a Dell AIO desktop that I purchased in 2013. It suddenly stopped working and would give me an error code that stated “no bootable drive”. I purchased this computer from Dell, so my first call was to their tech support dept. After providing my service tag number and explaining my issue I was told that my hard drive had crashed and that my computer had “REACHED END OF LIFE” ! In almost the same breath, the tech guy also told me that he could assist me in purchasing a new one and how much could I spend? Of note, I have a business account with Dell with a large line of credit so I’m sure he was looking at my account believing he had a big fish on the line. Nope!!! So, I googled computer repair and found Carl’s Computer Care! I contacted Carl, explaining my situation. He told me he could do an assessment and we could go from there. I took my computer in to his store and by the end of the day had a diagnosis and (3) options to choose from should I wish to repair it! With each option a warranty came with the price. He also stated that he felt he could recover most of, if not all of my files. We spoke and confirmed what I wanted done. This was last Friday. By Monday, he had the work completed and I was able to pick up my computer! Also, he was able to recover all of my files and reload the software that I wanted to keep. During this process, I was kept informed of the progress through text and email which was great! I picked my computer up Monday and am extremely happy with its performance! It runs much faster than before and indeed, my files and photos are intact! Carl also stated that my computer was very nice and that I should get 5 or 6 more years of use from it. I would like to thank Carl and his team for the outstanding work done for me. I am so thankful that I didn’t accept what what Dell had told me. In closing, I will say, if you find that your computer has stopped working, please contact Carl’s Computer Care!! You won’t be disappointed. They are a reputable, honest, local business and I would highly recommend them!!!

I was looking for someone to repair my all-in-one desktop. I checked local listings and came across Carl's Computer Care. I read all the reviews and decided to take my computer to him for repair. Let me say I was more than pleased. Carl was very accommodating and helpful and kept me informed throughout the repair process. Unfortunately, it was the motherboard that had to be replaced but it was ordered and repaired in a timely fashion. It worked great for a few days and then died again. Took it back to Carl and he found a problem with the power supply. Replaced the motherboard again and fixed the new power supply issue at no charge! Carl is very professional and just a really nice guy. Would highly recommend him for any computer problems you may have. I have recommended him to my whole family and we will continue to contact Carl any time we have problems.

I had some unknown issues with my pc where my WiFi connection was very poor and the speed of my pc during initial upload and during usage was at a snell pace at best. The customer service that I received was outstanding I was not in the store 40 seconds before I was greeted and assisted with a smile I might add. While I was informing the employee of my issues he was listening and taking in what my issues were and after I was complete he begin to inform me what he thought that could be the issue and by the way he was spot on. Not counting Sunday I was on out of my PC for two days prior to getting it back. Now that I have it back It is a completely different animal. The initial boot up is seconds now, the loading of programs happen in completion before I could even remove my finger from the mouse. Let’s not even talk of the internet surfing capabilities now. In short I am beyond satisfied of the service and very happy that I found Carl’s on a google search. I will be moving from the area here shortly but will still be working in the Baton Rouge area. So if I have any more issues with my pc or any other device there is no questioning where it will be going. I will be sure to spread the word.

I was told I was going to recieve a call to let me know what was wrong with my computer before work was done. Nope. I was charged $100 for a $20 part and $75 for 15 mins of work. And then was told it was cleaned up for me. So air was blown on the inside and the outside was still dirty. Thanks. No return business here.

I brought my Note 5 in to repair the charging port. When I got it home I had issues making phone calls and using the back button as a result of a faulty part. I called the store about it and Carl promptly got back with me and had me bring it to get that part replaced with no extra hassle. They were very honest about the whole ordeal. He even allowed me to use a temporary phone from his store while I was waiting which was extremely important for me. My computer was revived, restored, and actually upgraded - all for a very fair price. I also got a new battery in my older iPhone, and now it's operating like new. Carl is very reliable and reasonable with his prices for repairs. The best thing I like about Carl's Computer Repair is that I don't have to take my computer to him. He will come to your residence to attempt to make repairs which can probably be done there. If not he will take your computer and advise you before doing anything what the cost will be for him to repair it. Also for your information, if you have a cracked screen on your smart phone he will take care of this also.
