I called a half an hour before they opened to see if I needed to make an appointment, and the lady on the phone told me I didn't because I was just purchasing a new phone. A few hours later, I arrive at the store, and it's quite busy, but there was a woman at the front who completely ignored me, although I stood there for a few minutes. So I stood in line at check-in, thinking they would point me in the direction of where I need to be, and the lady who was doing check-ins was rather rude, and said that the lady who answered the phone didn't even work there (?), but then after I insisted that she listen to my reason for being there, she finally pointed me in the right direction. At this point, I had been at the Apple Store for about 30 minutes. I went where I was directed to go, and waited around some more, and then a woman came over to me and started talking to me about which phone I wanted. There was a miscommunication and when I questioned her about something, she got extremely rude with me, walked away from me completely, and at that point, I just wanted to give up. However, Stephanie was finally sent over to me, and she was much more clear about what needed to happen on my wireless provider account. She saved the experience I had. If you ever need a sales associate at the Apple Store, request to speak to her because she was the kindest, most understanding and clear person who I came across during my 2 hours (yeah, I was there forever) spent there. She was the only person concerned with customer service, something that Apple used to care about. I will do everything in my power to not return to the Apple Store at the Oxmoor Center, with the chance of being ignored, transferred, and spoken rudely to.

The next Apple Store is 62 miles away!! I would suggest another one in that radius. This place is always packed. They could provide quicker service. All though the staff is friendly and do the best they can. This is all Apple's doings.

This visit was not about me or my phone, which actually happens to be an Android, but for my visit accompanying my spouse to get her iPhone SE screen repaired. The Apple Specialist assisting us was Matt. Matt was extremely professional and considerate. Matt explained things very well, even came to another nearby store we were in to tell to get my spouse's approval before continuing, even after dropping off the phone. In the end the phone was repaired and the software system updated. However what impressed me most was knowing that a former Apple Specialist that worked at Apple Oxmoor was fondly remembered and a "space" was still held for him even a little over 1 1/2 years after that wonderful, respected Apple Specialist passed away. It is reassuring to hear stories like that, especially from a very prosperous worldwide company. T. Joiner, you are still remembered!!

Very slow and frustrating service for me. Apple made me chat online with an advisor who clearly could not help me for more than an hour (problem was a bug that needed them to work around). Only then would they permit me to schedule an appointment. Even then they didn’t have any convenient time in the next week. My experience was not a good one

I have the entire Apple ecosystem and these guys have never done me wrong. They have went above and beyond to make me happy even when I either didn't expect them to go that far or when I had a truly one of a kind issue. My only complaint about this place and its this way with all Apple stores is its too small for the crowd it brings and is so loud at times you feel like you gotta yell at the Genius you're working with. For that I dismiss a star but they truly do have some 5 star service there.

Emily is the customer service person who has negative and bad customer experience said "You guys want things for free", No we dont something for free we want you to know your job or at least be aware of products you are represented to sell. My experience at Apple Oxmoor was amazing! The helpers name was Carl I believe and he was so nice and helpful! For me the wait wasn’t very long the estimate was 30-45 mins but it was only 5 mins!

Place looks good if you are an Apple fan. I would recommend everyone to go Best Buy instead for better deals and sales. Words that Apple doesn’t apply to their business. The only reason why I went to this place is because I had an apple gift card from a device I trade in and I could only used at an Apple store or Apple website. That same day the Apple Watch series 4 that I bought was like $20-$30 less at Best Buy,Amazon or Costco.

My wife purchased an iPhone 6 brand new when they first came out from an ATT store in Florida about 6 years ago. Her battery needed to be replaced and when we attempted this at the Apple Store in Oxmoor Mall: 1st there were at least 5 employees standing around without customers, however, they refused to give us assistance until we checked in. So after checking in we we waited for about 15 minutes before an employee came to help us. 2nd, we told the employee not to back up my wife's phone or update it because we did not want to chance loosing any of her data, yet he attempted to do so anyways. 3rd he then tells us that the phone was registered to someone from Mexico and unless we could produce the original bill of sale he was not going to be able to do any service on the phone. So after about 30 minutes we had not gotten anywhere from where we were originally. I guess this is Apples way of forcing people to purchase new phones. This store was completely CHAOTIC, the employees were UNFRIENDLY and UNPROFESSIONAL. Go visit the folks at IFix just outside of the Apple store!!! Got my wife's batter replaced in 10 minutes and was $10 cheaper than Apple!!!!

There is not much to say about Apple that has not already been said. If you want anything Apple they have it here. I have owned apple products, iPad, iPod, iPhone and computers for years. Any problems with any product just visit the store and they will take care of it.

I had an appointment so I only waited about 25 minutes but it was very crowded and I stood. Sprint service doesn’t work with these phones. I came in with a broken screen and received a replacement phone that wasn’t compatible. I was rushed out the store while my phone was still updating. As I was driving home the SIM card locked out and phone stopped working the store was closed already and I couldn’t find a store on my way home because gps stopped. The sprint store near my house doesn’t have SIM cards for the XS yet. So I will have to drive back to Louisville and get one. No service in the meantime.

The two stars are for the two times that I went there and the service was great. No pressure to buy extra stuff. I ended up returning my phone because the new iPhone was coming out. The time I went in to order the iPhone 11 I was pressured into buying all of this extra stuff. After thinking about it I decided to cancel that order and order a different one with no extra payments. The lady forgot to mention I couldn’t pick up my new order in store so now I’m stuck with a phone that crashes for another 2 1/2 weeks. I refuse to go into the store to purchase anything else. When you have workers that don’t pressure people into extra payments then I’ll be back.

Slow and painful. We were told on the phone that our phone was covered under their quality program because it couldn't connect through cell. When we took it to the store, the spent an hour repeating much of the diagnostics we did on the phone already plus several more. They then said it wasn't covered because it didn't give the exact error code they expected even though it still couldn't connect via cellular. They then said we could trade in our phone to buy a new one, then handed us off to another tech. Add 10 minutes. We asked the second tech why we were told it was covered, then told it wasn't. They had to go find a manager. Add 10 minutes. The manager said our phone was defective and in the lot of phones that have the covered problem, but not in the exact way, so it wasn't covered. He then proceeded to tell us he would do us a favor and give us full value for trading in our old phone to get a new one. The first tech had already told us we would get that, so it felt like a hollow gesture. Basically, we spent 90 minutes in an over crowded and noisy mess to be told we could have the privilege of buying a new phone.

We got there right about noon and I was afraid it would be a terrible long wait. It appeared busy, but plenty of staff working. We were asked at the door what was needed and then taken to a line for tech support. This line looked long, but within 5 minutes someone was helping us. We went through what was needed, he got on his ear piece and then took us over to a desk. He told how many before us and about how long each, with total wait time of about 1 hour. Within 10 minutes we were being helped. I was impressed!!

The is a great store that is very professional and responsive. I do have to say that the kids tables are to be for kids not college students. Two young males set down and started playing video games; really creeped out my 11 year old daughter. There needs to be an age limit for that table. I love the decor but they need to put in some sound damping. All their stores are too loud.

I got my first iPhone for Father’s Day. On setup I mistyped my apple password. I contacted tech support. Password could not be changed. Now it’s going too be another 13 days, 15 days in total. I ‘m starting too wonder if switching from android was a mistake. Tech support (not at Oxmoor it was at the call center) should not have had me repeatedly try and reset my password so many times, thus making a extended wait.

Issue with my iphone 7 speaker button grayed out during phone calls and video chats. Went to Apple store to have a "genius" look at it. After doing a hard reset, he informs me the mother board is shot and I need to buy a new $1k iphone. I told him this is a known issue and showed him the articles on Google discussing it. He said there was nothing he could do. I need to "buy" a new iphone. Has anybody else experienced this? Is there a way to revert to a previous IOS and see if that will fix the problem? Everything I've read points to a known software issue and release by Apple.

What kind of company wants their customers to be at risk due to uncontrollable circumstances. Worthless waste of time to try and get help. Get some English speaking reps.

We got an Apple gift card, but could only use it for a new laptop. So do not believe that this location offers any trade in value for your old laptop.

I was on the phone with Apple care and they helped me and got me transferred to the store. The store told me my watch was in after 10 days of sitting here waiting for my watch and it never came in. We go in there which takes an hour to drive here in an hour to get back home and we sat in there for an hour after our appointment time then we finally get help and they told me my watch wasn’t in. So it took 3 hours of our day to get told that your watch isn’t in after being told it was. I was hung up on 3 times prior to leaving our house. Once I got connected with oxmoor Apple and talked for at least 10 seconds each. I’m very mad and very disappointed in Apple in oxmoor mall.

My girlfriend and I called the apple store of oxmore and explained that her iphone XR over heated, shut off, and was hot to the touch like if you were to leave it in your car on a hot summers day. The person on the phone said come in talk to the person at the desk and he will get you a new phone because your phone is under warranty. We made sure that there wouldnt be any wait amd it wouldnt take anytime for us to trade it in. We arrived and we tried to explain what the person over the phone said they just asked for our names and told us it wouldnt be but 30 minutes and to sit at this table. We sat there 10 minutes and a guy without an appointment walked in with a ipad stood around and said, "yeah im pressed for time i have to get back to the office can you look at my ipad for me please." So they looked at it fixed ut and he was on his way. 30 minutes passed and i was looking around seeing all these people getting helped and not a single person had an appointment. Fast forward to an hour sitting there on those uncomfortable stools i get a little antsy. I tell my girlfriend "look at all these people who walked in after us and got seen before us. I also noticed 3 to 4 employees standing around on there phones not doung anything. The manager finally walks up to us and says "hi have you all been seem yet". I say no and she says whats tye last name we tell her and she says oh look at that you all are next. We werent next and i know not a single employee in there cared and i refuse to buy another apple product if the batteries inside them swell and could possibly explode so easily when its a brand new phone.

Went to buy Mac Book Air and iphone 8 or 10. I told one of the 2 saleswomen standing and talking, "I want to buy an iphone but don't know anything about them." If she'd shown me how to work one and made a suggestion, I'd have bought anything. He wanted to get the MacBook Ait and asked a computer guy how it compared to the MacPro he has. The salesperson seemed bored - answered and walked away. The slightest encouragement, he'd have sold a computer! Horrible customer service. The store was very loud and too hot. We went to purchase and ended up not. Probably will not be buying Apple phone.

Please beware... I took my laptop to apple store in Louisville, KY. Genius center advisor mentioned that there is valid issue with Mac book. They said it cannot be repaired at the apple store and it has to be stored to service centre in Houston. They took my home address and everything and mentioned the laptop will be shipped my address in 2-3 business days and i waited for around 4-5 days and tried contacting the Customer care executive they said my laptop was repaired and already delivered, I said it was not delivered. Then they have put me on hold and gave address where the macbook was delivered. I figured out that it was my old address/different state where i use to live.. I mentioned and shared the work order and it reflects my current address in KY but they said it was by mistake sent over to old address and they werent sure how this issue has happend but they then apologized. The computer was actually delivered and some one already picked the item. They asked for some more time to contact Fedex and they took around 3-5 days to sort out where the computer was and they mentioned they'll be sending the computer back to me. I did receive my computer but i am very much disappointed with customer service, computer has my personal info PII. how can they be so irresponsible. Also, My computer still has the same problem and i dont see its fixed. I went back to store on 14th Sep they asked me to come back on 21st and i came for scheduled appointnent but they said i am walking but where i was showing up with valid appointment time.By the way I am apple gadget user for more than 10+ years.

I have purchased at this Apple Store twice. Both times I left with what I wanted to purchase. The atmosphere is typical of an Apple Store: the staff is friendly, upbeat, and ready to help. I will happily return when I need a new Apple product in the future. I don't give this store 5 stars for a couple of reasons: 1. Both times I purchased I was asked ***three** times before I finalized my sale if I wanted to buy Apple Care. One time the sales rep simply added it to my order without telling me; I had to look at the receipt on the screen of her small phone to see that it was added to my order. I understand that Apple Care is helpful and I understand why I should get it. But if I've already said that I don't want to purchase it, I don't want to be asked two more times right in a row, and I certainly don't want it added to my order without being asked first. 2. Both times I came to the store the sales rep was not very knowledgable about the product. Both times the sales rep was incorrect about specifications of the product, what accessories were included in the box, and what accessories I needed to purchase in addition to my product. One time my sales rep told me that Apple hired her because she's a people person and not because she knows a lot about the apple products.

Took my sons phone in because it completely quit working. Staff at the store told us that it needed a new logic board, it would cost around $250 to fix and it would be cheaper to get him a new phone. We took it to UBREAKIFIX off hurstbourne lane and they fixed it In less than an hour and only charged me $30! So glad I got a second opinion, I guess Apple does only what’s going to make them more money.

I have been on perpetual hold (53 minutes) now. I called the phone number listed on Google, which is the phone number for the Oxmoor Apple Store> It seems to route to a national call center. I want to talk with someone at the Oxmoor location. I received a e-mail today stating that my I-Phone 6 battery was there to be installed. I only need to find out how long the repair takes, in order to see if I have time to wait around. Customer service SUCKS !!

If you have any questions at all about a product they offer, they’ll answer each and every question to make sure your satisfied enough to make a purchase if you want. The Stock is very limited at this time of year , with a 2 week wait time on the S4 Watch. The Apple Staff even offer beginner classes to help you get familiar with your new purchase’s if you want to come into their Store and learn. Have always been greeted by friendly employees as soon as you walk into the doors.

Two horrible trips here to get issues fixed. Over priced, over rated, and overwhelmed by sheer numbers. One person was helping four people at a time as the phones all had slow downloads. The noise was definitely overwhelming. The storefront badly designed with no sound canceling feature. Come on Apple, this is the 21st century. Spend a couple bucks on background amenities and actually take care of your customers.

I have never been to this store. On Saturday April 9,2016 at 2:39 pm someone at this store allowed a credit card thief to purchase an item equaling $874.26. Why wasn't this person ID d for a purchase of such a size? I have always been a fan of Apple products..but this disgusts me that your employees would allow something like this to happen. The card used was either a counterfeit or they just typed in the numbers. No permission was given to anyone to use my account. The employee involved needs to be fired for not paying attention and other employees need to be trained better to keep this from happening to anyone else. A police report was made and bank notified. I tried to call the store but it goes to a service center which the lady I spoke to was nice and honestly tried to help. She did find that it was an in store purchase and she tried to call the store with no one answering. Please do something about better securing your true customers. I have never been to an Apple Store and after this I am not sure I ever will.

Got excellent service there. I am not a apple user, but my daughter needed a fix on her phone. The process was simple friendly and efficient. The technician was very personable. He diagnosed the issue and proposed a fix in very simple terms. The whole experience was delightful!

To be honest, I wish I had not made this visit to the apple store at Oxmoor mall. I felt offended by the staff who called me names of racial remark. When I talked to the manager about the issue nothing was done instead the manager seemed clearly was taking side and smile with the individual in question. Which I felt pretty much being ignored probably because I was the only black person in the entire store at the time. Secondly I felt that the might be the issue in this case because doesn't discipline staff, and the staff takes advantage of his politeness to offend customers without fear of any repacussion or consequences of their did. I felt the behavior places the business environment unsafe to both employees as well as the customer. I hope someone will look into this matter very seriously and take action to replace this manager emmidiatelly and make a race balance within the employee to eliminate a potential biases. Thank you

Apple is the biggest joke I have ever seen! They want you to purchase their over priced products, give you a warranty, and when you have an issue with so called product, do not take care of fixing or replacing. Their products are junk and I will stick with Samsung products. They validate their warranties and take care of any issues.

So I smashed my phone at the gym, instantly drove up to Apple at Oxmoor Mall and I had to wait about 30 minutes before someone could check my phone which is pretty good considering how busy they usually are. The only issue I had was how long it took for them to fix my phone. I waited almost an extra hour, which was a little frustrating. But at the end of the day, I got pretty good customer service, and I got my phone fixed without making an appointment. The price was also not too shabby considering I broke my LCD screen too and they give you a 90 day warranty after they fix your phone.

2nd iPhone to die from the mysterious "hardware issue" and both were less than 2 years old. Was told I could use a byod phone if I brought the receipt back...went all the way home and back to be told the "genius" that told me that was mistaken. They couldn't care less about the whole situation and it waa obvious.

I purchased a “like-new” Apple Watch that was unlocked from an individual. However after trying to pair it with my phone it was still connected to her iCloud account. The individual would not respond to my messages. I called Apple and even though I had proof that I purchased it from her they wanted the ORIGINAL receipt from the previous owner. I find it absolutely ridiculous that they have no way to unlock it for me when I paid good money for an Apple product and it’s not my fault the previous owner doesn’t know how to work her iCloud account. Thanks for nothing Apple. I’m now out quite a bit of money just for wanting to use your product. Looks like I’ll be getting a Samsung Smart Watch.

I went there to buy my Iphone X and it was packed and it only took 5 minutes before someone came over. The guy was really nice and it didn't take a long time for them to bring out the phone. definitely recommend!

If I could give less than one star i would. My husband dropped his iPhone 6 and they refused to fix it. They wanted us to buy a new phone or upgrade to something more expensive. Took it to UBreakIFix and they fixed it for $74 no issue.

Quick, great service! Good availability for the products, openness to answer any question. We appreciated the girl (Shelby maybe?) which helped me buy my new iPhone: she presented us with all our options (apple care products, different screen protectors, etc) and patiently waited for us to make up our mind. She did a great job also, in installing my screen glass protection.

If I could put zero stars I would. It was the worst customer experience in my life. I was going to buy an Apple Watch and it was like half an hour before mall was closing. I was waiting for assistance for ten minutes, when no one came to me I decided to ask one of the employees for help ( it was like a group of them standing together and doing clearly nothing) he said “ go to that guy with a hat”. Seriously I have to go from one employee to another! So anyway I came to the “guy with a hat” and he was helping another lady. I waited like for ten more minutes and no one was going to help me with my purchase, so I just left the store. Don’t waist your time people to even go in there, better order online or go to a different apple store. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Incredibly inefficient repair process. Waited 40 minutes with a reservation. Waited over 30 minutes just to pick it up. Instead of bringing items out when ready as ours should have been, we have to wait for batches of items to come out. Literally bringing an arm full of items at once. Bad customer service.

Had a problem with my airpods. Wanted to see if my ear pieces or my charging box was defective. It was a long wait and I Left mad because the tech showed no interest in doing a check on my product just selling a complete new airbuds. Left unhappy and returned to talk to someone else so they could check out the earbuds. We charged the earbuds and they worked. I wanted to buy a replacement box and was told I can buy the next version charging box for more money or wait in line again for a replacement. I waited and finally was helped by associate who offered to replace the charging box on warranty. I am happy with a free replacement but feel that I was worked over unnecessarily. It was over a hour of my time, poor problem solving and a customer experience designed to frustrate and pay for replacement rather than honor a warranty.

So glad I dont own an apple product, went with a friend and while almost empty he was still made to make an appointment for the following day just to drop his phone off for service. We literally watched three employees playing on their personal devices without assisting and customers. Just seemed unprofessional even more so that the guy helping us was less interested in the reasons we were there than just getting back to his personal paid time at work. Ugh. Long live androids! I ❤
