I ordered an Apple TV online for in store pick up, when I arrived they found someone to help me very quickly, after I got my Apple TV they asked if I had any questions about the it. Though I didn't have any questions about Apple TV I had a question about MacBooks which they answered and even took the time to show me on one of the display MacBooks. Overall good experience.

I arrived at the store to have the recalled button on the iPhone 5 and I waited in line for about ten minutes. I was told that they would take our name and try to work us in. After checking back three times and three hours later I gave up. They were not very friendly and only wanted to sell new products. Apple is so much less since Steve Jobs is gone. I would not recommend this store even though I have been purchasing Apple product for twenty years. Lexington needs another store or new managers at this one. Very disappointed.

The employees were fairly nice. Now that I've written the positives I'll cover my negatives. After making an appointment, in hopes of avoiding the typical hour wait, we arrive and the store and are immediately plunged into a 30 minute wait. After 5 minutes of consulting, we're told that our phone needs a new battery and they can install it in 40 minutes. So we walk around the mall for the 40 minutes and come back to the store. We then wait for our service to resume, as it should since it was a "40 minute" service time. Another 45 minutes passes by, making this a 2 and a half hour endeavor, by this time the store (and mall) are closing down and not a single employee (there were plenty standing around goofing off at this point of closing time) came to help us or asked if we needed anything. Needless to say we were sorely disappointed in our service and I have no intentions of returning.

Apple Products & their customer service & just trying to even speak to a service rep is pathetic, terrible to say the least. No wonder it’s so difficult to reach assistance from Apple, they know their products are garbage & therefore they make it extremely complicated to get any type of customer service. No wonder their Chinese sales are way down, it’s not the economy, it’s that the Chinese realized Apple products are worthless garbage.

After receiving a call that my computer was fixed, I went to the store and ended up waiting an hour after I was "checked in." I then mentioned, to an employee, that I had been waiting for an hour. They then proceeded to assist me shortly after that. Once I received my computer, they told me not to worry about the fee associated with my repair due to my wait. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. Thanks for being so awesome, Fayette Mall Apple employees.

The service has declined over the past several years. You can't go into to store and get anything looked at without an appointment. And, when you request to get an appointment, the only thing they can say is "it will be several days". Really, that sounds like a ploy to get you to buy a new phone. I am disgusted with the cellphone monopoly.

If you run your own business chances are you'll need a quality computer that you can rely on. The Mac Store, at Fayette Mall, has always been essential for our success. The few times that we've had computer problems the friendly staff at the Apple Store has always come through; letting us get back to what we love to do; building a marketing websites!

Beware! NEW POLICY should make you rethink all Apple products! They refused to work on my phone because it had once been repaired by a non Apple store! I’ve had 10 phones fixed here before and never once has this been a problem! My local Apple store in Knoxville is weeks behind in fixing phones. In the press you hear of updates shutting off phones that don’t use Apple parts. Buy a Android!

Before I continue with this review, and explain why I have left the negative rating that I have left, I want to say that a majority of the employees and geniuses I have dealt with over the last year and half have been nothing short of fantastic and extremely helpful. This store truly does have fantastic employees that are knowledgable of the products and services that Apple offers and are extremely eager and willing to help with issues that may arise. That being said, my most recent experience here was nothing short of absolutely miserable. I took my computer in for repair to be sent off on a Wednesday afternoon with a verbal commitment that it will be back in 5-7 days, with day 8 being the day written down to receive the computer back. I get an email on the day I was supposed to get my computer back that there was a constraint on the part needed to fix my computer and that I could either wait for the part to be available or for my computer to just be replaced. I decided to go with the replacement after having extreme difficulty getting into contact with the support agent who could order the new computer for me. I received an email stating that I should allow 5 days for the replacement process to be complete and that they are having the process expedited. Among other issues that I won't go into detail about, it took 15 days to receive my computer from that "5 days for replacement" email. My tracking said that the computer was delivered on a Thursday morning at 10:30 am, but I never received communication from the Apple Store. I call them at 5 pm on Friday to see what's going on and to see where my computer was. They couldn't locate it and said we'll call you back. It turns out the computer was completely unrecorded in their system and just sitting in the back of the store and I wouldn't have received it anytime soon if I hadn't gone out of my way to figure out where it was. Once I got to the Apple Store to pick it up, I realized I had still not been put into the system. At this point, I've been without my computer for 23 days on an expected 5-7 repair process, and I was noticeably frustrated. I understand delays happen and that a lot of this was probably out of their control, but there was next to no communication from them regarding the status of my computer. When I finally got to pick up my computer, I aired my grievances to one of the Lead Geniuses and another one of the employees and all I got was "We're sorry - replacement processes can take up to 30 days." which was never communicated to me. I was never told to allow up to 30 days for a replacement. I was never warned that it could take such a long time. When spending as much I spent on my MacBook Pro, I expect better communication regarding the situation. I could have been friendlier and handled the situation better. I could have been more understanding of their issues. However, I was, and still am, frustrated with how the entire situation was handled. I'm a power user of my Apple products and I really do love them - but I need to have them for my work and for my pleasure. Without proper communication, I cannot adjust my schedule accordingly leaving me in a limbo. I've had mostly positive experiences with the company and with the retail stores, this one included, so it really is unfortunate how this entire string of events has played out. It is inevitable that I will return to this Apple Store in the future and will continue to give them my business, but I want other people to be aware that these situations do happen. I hate leaving negative reviews, but a negative rating accurately reflects my experience. I encourage future customers to get full confirmation on expected dates and be aware of any issues that might cause delays.

This store was tremendously helpful to my mother. Her phone wasn't letting people talk to her, she wasn't being heard. So she took it here and they where very quick to help her with her problem, very polite and respectful, and fixed her phone within a few minutes. They even fixed it right in front of her too, so you really know what kind of work your getting. Little pricey but if you have an apple phone it's worth it to have the peace of mind you got it done right.

VERY upset! After having an appointment and having to send my phone off for repair AFTER being told it was to be replaced, I come home (3.5 hour drive one way for me) only to find out that the phone is locked! Was in store for almost 3 hours! Now, having to send the phone off through carrier because the SIM card isn't detectible in the phone supplied to me. Apple support was NO HELP what so ever as they say they can not unlock the phone (NOT the 4 number or finger ID lock) it is completely locked! NEVER again! Apology is NOT acceptable! Sorry to YOU Apple!

I would say the worst place I have ever gone to ,the staff over there are very un professional and after making 4 purchases from this store I just had an Ipad that we bought for my daughter 6 months back and this was no longer charging and the first time I went there they said I dont have the receipt which was reasonable infact I have shown them the email receipt but since they didnt agree I went back and showed the receipt now they say me that the receipt dont have the exact apple device ID and ask me to go and ask the retailer to create a new receipt for this which I dont think a retailer will just change for one case,bottom line these people over here are extremely rude and saying the answer in a very un professional way,this makes me movel away from apple completely

Always been obsessed with Apple products for many many years and spent lots of $$. Never had an issue getting things fixed (in or out of warranty) before either. But that all changed this week. I'm done obsessing. lol Had an appt with batteries plus to get my battery replaced on my iPhone but they had to order one, so I set up an appt with Apple since I knew they'd have one. Went in and said my battery is bad - he said he'd look. After a while and testing he said the battery was just fine and it was the Logic Board (the genius was super nice though I need to add). I trusted him because I thought they had extensive training. I had to pay off my iPhoneX ($400) in order to buy another iPhone ($1100). So I sell the iPhoneX as a non-working phone due to the Logic Board to someone locally that buys broken phones pretty cheap because the genius said it was dead weight now. The person that bought it let me know the next day it was only the battery and it was working just fine now and they knew just looking at the phone what the issue was (I won't mention where this person works....). They didn't have to tell me at all, but wanted me to know that the genius was wrong. I called Apple Customer Support and they were WONDERFUL and made notes on my case number. I can't say enough about how nice they were! I then called the Apple Store and Mr. White said he was the manager. Said nothing could be done because their software said my battery was good and their software is always accurate and just because a new battery fixed it, doesn't mean down the road the issue won't reappear again because my battery was perfect in the phone so it's obviously something else. Very rude and condescending on the phone... had someone with me that could hear the conversation as well, and she was in shock over his tone like I was. and NO your software isn't always accurate.... looking back at software updates that crash iPhones and cause issues like overheating, etc.?? LOL I'm over it. **and a fun note, while sitting there waiting a genius was trying to help a lady with her iPhone and she asked her (verbatim) "Do you really need your FaceID to work, is that something you need?" and the lady was like "well yes, I want it to work?!" The lady's expression was priceless, at least I had some entertainment..... ugh

Appointment at Genius Bar was easy to make, but they didn't get to me for 45 minutes! Why did I make an appointment? The employee insisted my phone had water damage until she took it apart and looked inside. Additionally, I noticed a small chip in my screen protector as I walked to my car, which has now spread across 1/4 of the phone! Watch out, they'll damage your accessories!

I've been to Apple stores all over the world. The service is friendliest here, but that is where it stops. A scratch on the back of a phone or computer is enough to make you ineligible for any warranty, including the battery replacement for the iPhone which was a fault of Apple software. I've never encountered such fussy warranty protocols and I have no doubt it is a scheme to help them look more favorable in stats or make some extra cash. I would hold out for store that is much more reasonable about what is considered normal wear and tear. Horrible.

My wait the first time I went in was a bit long and I'm not sure the appointment helped, however they were very kind in fixing my shattered phone! I had to go back because the first time after it was fixed the sound stopped working and so did my camera, they got me in asap and were apologetic for the issues. Things happen and as long as the company is kind and has a fairly quick response I believe minor mistakes are okay. They were overall helpful and nice.

Because of this they couldn't replace the screen? Really? So I went to a cell phone repair place instead (not an Apple Store) and they replaced it without any problems. I recently got an Iphone 4G, but I am currently using a 3G and the portal that you use to charge and import data from is damaged. I wanted to get this replaced so I could save all of my pictures before changing my phone service. The attendant I spoke with at this store told me that my "whole phone needed to be replaced". They could "sell" me anther phone. I explained to the attendant that I needed to get my pictures and that I already have a new phone. She told me they could not help me nor could they tell me a place that would service this phone. It is ridiculous that this company cannot fix a portal on a product they sell, but they can "sell" you a whole new phone. Pretty common sense that this portal can be fixed. Me and my entire family own apple products and have spent thousands with this company and they cannot assist me with getting pictures off my phone!! APPLE IS ABOUT $$$ and NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

So you go in, someone asks what you want. I say my battery has short lifespan”. Then you get sent to a line. Fifteen minutes later same interaction happens and you are sent to a table. Bout ten minutes later you have someone ask you a couple of questions. I once again state that my battery has a short life span. 10 minutes later I’m sent to the other side of the table where my phone has diagnostics ran on it that says ... my battery sucks and I should get a new one. So they tell me come back 9:30. I come back at 9:24 knowing the store will close soon and I want to be helpful. They ask me to return in a few minutes not offering for me to sit in the store for the six minutes despite not having a customer at that time. TLDR: the wait is rediculous and they have limited customer service.

The clerks were very helpful, not pushy or condescending, which means a lot to me, a technophobic person. They were also very knowledgeable and could point me to exactly the kind of thing I was looking for, or tell me where to find it. I also have appreciated that when I brought in something that needed to be fixed, they were very clear about the options, as well as telling me if it wasn't financially worth fixing or that they would take it to an independent shop.

Excellent products and nice people once you're in the store. They much prefer internet communication; slow about telephone response, but helpful once you get them. It's not cheap but probably the most dependable products in the industry. Recommend the training class(es) unless you're savvy about those products. Expect high strung salespeople - apparently under a lot of stress in an aesthetically sterile environment.

Personally it's not what I like in a tech store. Very crowded, and their attempts to make it casual don't help. This has less to do with this store and more to do with Apple's style altogether. If you love apple stores feel, this feels like the rest of them. Their tech support is very friendly and knows what they're doing (for the most part). They won't throw in random charges without letting you know, and you can turn down anything and decide to go elsewhere if you don't like the price. Wonderful people and they make sure you understand what they're talking about

8/14/17 I had a cracked screen on my iPhone 5s. I researched the repair price at Apple, I also read that I need to backup the phone before bringing it in. Online, I made an appointment for 10am; I was immediately greeted at 10am, Apple employee did a diagnostic, and told me my phone would be ready in an hour. An hour later, I had my perfectly repaired iPhone in my hand. Note: Along with the display being replaced, Apple also includes the home button, face-time camera, proximity sensor, and ear speaker since those components are attached. The home button on the iPhone5s has a fingerprint sensor and since the home button gets replaced, you need to go into settings and turn on the fingerprint sensor and redo your fingerprints.

Sending an “At a Boy” to Wil, for the help he gave me the other day. Got my iPhone and iPad synced with outstanding skills and knowledge. Helped get both devices updated and set me up with more iCloud, which really did the trick. As I was waiting for the updates he had to leave and made sure that I was handed off to another Apple store employee. Both of whom were very friendly and attentive to my needs. I had appointment to replace iphone 6s plus battery at 5:50 pm . I went at 5:40pm and Genius bar Rep. refused to work on it . he said mall will close at 6pm so we can't do it shame on Apple. I called customer service when i took appointment she told me don't worry battery replacement will finish in 15 to 30 minutes. customer service over the phone they are willing to help but apple store at mall not .

The people in this store must be well managed. I went in to have my iPhone battery checked. I was immediately helped. I sat down and someone told me I’d be helped. It only took approximately ten minutes for the entire experience. I was there on a busy Saturday. I was impressed.

Have you ever had a phone that don't work?Well look no farther there is a awesome store called Apple they have phones and tablets and computers.I got a nice computer there and it was very useful and it still actually I am typing this of my apple computer it has a lot of uses like emailing if you like touch screen you can get a touch screen one.The apple store is the best store ever when I walked in I thought to myself I am totally going to spend 12,000 dollars.The Apple store is expensive but if you buy a computer and it is 1,000 like a Mac Book it is worth it because you will get your moneys worth.And the reason I would rather go to the Apple store than Best buy because people at Apple are more friendly and their services are way better and way faster so if you are looking for nice fast and friendly services go to Apple in the mall in Fayette county,3401 Nicholasville Rd,Lexington,ky 40503.If you ever need a heavy duty computer try Apple I believe that you will love the Apple store just like I do !!

Not Good. . Took them an hour to finally tell me that my phone had moisture in it ( not sure where from) . That is wasn't covered under warranty ( Less than a year old) . A replacement would cost over $ 250.00 and it only would have a 90 day warranty . I left after the store manager and the tech were bery rude. Avoid this place if possible.

The salesperson gave me incorrect advice about the extent to which it would be possible to transfer data from my old MacBook to a new MacBook pro. Turns out in my particular situation, it has not been possible at all. So I was left with a brand-new laptop to which I am having to transfer files piecemeal.

Worst experience ever. Techs (geniuses) were interested in one thing, selling a new phone. Release 11.3 blew my phone up and after multiple attempts with phone techs to resolve they set up store visit "where they will resolve the issue". Arrived early, taken right in and tech was finished with looking at issue in less than 3 minutes and said "we can sell you the solution". 7 plus is only one year old and both updates created a major issue. After a 125 mile trip to Fayette Apple store, I assure you I will never return. I warn you about this experience.

I had a horribly cracked screen, completely shattered. Came in without an appointment (but I knew they stay busy so I got there really close to when they opened) and asked if they could fix it. Typically it can't be fixed if the phone itself is bent and of course, mine was, but only slightly. They said they would still try and fix it and gave me a time to come pick my phone back up. When I got back my phone was fixed and ready to go. Yes, they are busy, it's an Apple Store! But I was amazed st how fast they were able to take care of me when I was dropping off my phone and picking it up!

I 100% recommend, I had some really tricky viruses that got downloaded to my laptop, and were really hard to get rid of, but they were able to find them and delete them from my laptop. I walked in without an appointment and they could help right away. Thankful they could fix my laptop, love Apple for their customer service and products.

My iPhone 6 battery was swollen, made an appointment for 5:30 and we showed up at 5, they got us in at 5:15, and were out before the appointment was actually supposed to start. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, instead of just replacing my battery for 30 bucks, they just replaced the entire for the price of the battery

I recently bought a new computer at this store. Service has really gone downhill since I was last there. The woman who sold us the computer, Melissa, I think, was very good and friendly. The next day when we went to pick up the computer we were there over 3 hours. The store is swamped, there is not enough staff. The person at our set-up table was trying to help a bunch of people at once. I felt he did not know what he was doing. He had us call the 800 help line which was awful b/c we could not hear anything w/ a cell phone & the noise. The store is so noisy and there was some kind of kids camp in the store so kids were running all over the place. Last time I bought a an Apple computer they installed Word at the store, but, we had to do this at home this time...it was not good.
