I like Geeks on repair. When I called and spoke to the point of contact, named George, I thought he was helpful & empathetic. They sent a service man out to assess and analyze the problem. The service man told me the problem, and George helped me identify how to order the part that needed replacing. When I had issues with the service man they sent me, they sent me a new one to install the broken part.

I'm a local independent technician. This company contacted me to go to somebody's house through Craigslist. No introduction, vetting, or contract signing, just "here's a job, go fix the computer". I had never been contacted before. I assume these guys are just middle men who look for technicians in your area and subcontract, but not in a way that adds any value to the transaction. The amount of work they put into finding you a tech is clearly negligible. Their business is operated anonymously and their policies and warranties are nonexistent. There is no home office, just a 1800 number. Don't fall for this scam, just do what they would do and hire a tech in your area off Craigslist if you need help. Just by asking a technician their qualifications and references you would be doing more work than they did when reaching out to me.

Committed slander when we disagreed with their business practices, and posted our picture on the Internet trash talking us! How did they get our picture! I will never be calling these goons again! The tech came to my house to remove a virus from my computer and was talking to his boyfriend on the phone the entire time while taking all sorts of pictures I have no idea why. The problem still isn't resolved

They contacted me to do a local repair. I called on time of arrival and when left the location. Never got my payment as agreed. Last time call was answered they told me that the client had to pay me. That wasn't the agreement. So far no payment.

After finding out earlier today that I was bilked out of $389.99 by another Computer Company (Geeks World), after a 2 year association that was suppose to be a lifetime, I found Geeks On Repair online. After speaking to James I had a good initial feeling,’but I still wasn’t sure if I should trust Geeks On Repair. I talked it over with my significant other & the monthly monetary terms weren’t bad so I called back & spoke to James again. Then David called & he was remoted into my system for almost 3 1/2 hours. His mannerism was just as excellent along with his work as James .

Absolutely terrible customer service, The guy who runs this company is a liar and pretends that all the bad reviews are from competitors trying to ruin him. In reality they are real reviews from people who had terrible experiences with him trust me. If u dont think im a real person you can check out my other reviews im a level 5 local guide. Honestly im pretty sure the good reviews are probably from his friends. If you are a computer technician/ contractor DO NOT reach out to this guy. He is extremely rude and untrustworthy. Seriously take a look at how he responds to the negative reviews. This business needs to be removed from maps for good. If you cant be professional in your business go work for someone else. I really hope you take my warning seriously. Have a great day.

Took a contact as a tech to fix a machine. I performed the on site repair, collected payment for the geeks, and submitted my invoice to them. They never paid and stopped returning calls and emails. 8 months later and they just called again to send me on another job. I told them they still owe money from the last client and they are playing dumb. Buyer and technician beware, this is a complete scam run by a couple people with a phone who simply con local tech's into helping their clients.
