This Computer Repair is classified in the category of Computer repair service.
The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Great place to buy your next computer or to have one repaired.
I needed a new computer and they helped me find everything I needed at a price that was affordable for me.
Marcus was such a big help! He didn't have to talk me through my computer issue on the phone because I wasn't able to bring it in but he did and it worked! These guys are always my go to when something is wrong with my computer! Thank you, Marcus and Computers Plus!
Good guys here !
Couldn't care less for there customers.
Only store in town that has a good selection of the odds and ends.
Best store in the whole area. Great local business and friendly workers.
The knowledge that i have gather in less then 10 minutes talking with a rep from Computer Plus is amazing. Excellence service, i will definitely recommended this place for anyone that has any computer issues.
Being ina sales industry I know most the people who write bad reviews brought it on themselves. Go to Best Buy or any other big box store and then go to Computers Plus and you will know why shopping at a smaller computer store is helpful. hey will spend the time to help select the write PC/apple for you...show you how to use it and be there to help you after the sale. Try and get something fixed through Best Buy's Geek Squad...hahaha good luck and even better luck finding someone that cares and is friendly to you. I had a issue with a laptop I took to computers plus for service...we had a mix up with my computer...and they never tried to make an excuse they owned up to it and replaced it for me. Not many businesses these days will own up to a problem and then fix it. Will in service is a stand up guy and trust me he is a hell of a lot more helpful/friendly than the high schooler at "Geek Squad". 100% happy will never go anywhere else
Helped me to get my computer running back to normal speed. Offered me great information and help! Thanks again

I was sold a lifetime warranty and told if I ever have problems with my router to bring it in and I would get a credit for the amount I purchase the router to apply towards a new router. That was two years ago. This past week my router started dropping WiFi, so I upgraded the firmware from the manufacturer, and it continued to have problems. So I called the store they looked up my information said bring it all in and we will give you $100 credit to purchase a new router. Saturday morning rolls around I take the router into the store expecting to leave with a new router and go home to set up my network for the next few hours. Instead I'm told that I have to schedule an appointment to have the router diagnosed by one of their technicians. I'm leaving the store now pissed off they over-promise and under-delivered. So much for keeping my money local.
They lost all of my data on my laptop and I had all of my homework and many other important things like pictures of my nephew as a baby. Their communication is God awful and they lie about calling you back a billion times. If data is lost it's not their problem, you obviously don't matter to them. I usually like supporting more localized businesses, but at this point you're better off going to Geek Squad to get help. They obviously didn't give a sh*t so I'm never going there again.
Clean and nice place for computer needs. They keep a stock of all the latest equipment too, so you don't have to order online.
Very helpful
Repair prices are a bit high but you can't get a much more knowledgeable crew
Great service. Polite and quality. And great price too
I visited this store to get a laptop for my son and the service was fantastic. We got personal service and attention. It is rare that you find quality personal service in any retail venue these days. Since the initial visit they have done 4 repairs on other computers and direct shipped some products to us at home. They have my complete trust and customer loyalty.
My computer was screwed up when I allowed a customer service rep with a printer company to have remote control of my computer to fix my printer connection with my computer. It resulted in losing all my files. Computers Plus fixed it.
Just went to the back to school sale and they paid for my taxes on my new Macbook. Very impressed with their attentiveness and knowledge about different systems.
My past two experiences here have been so much better. Much faster service, and sales staff that knew what I was looking for. In the past I have been disappointed in the wait to get a simple part. It felt like they were always working with service customers, and it took a while to get those clients checked in or out. When I just needed a quick part this was a struggle, but the past two visits have been fast, friendly, in out shopping, which I like.

Rude service and horribly pricey equipment. I take in my laptop to get it fixed, they create two more problems. Furthermore, these people refuse to take responsibility for the damage they have done to my computer. Never shopping here again! You'll have better luck finding much better prices and service at Best Buy.
took my laptop here because it wasnt powering on. they diagnosed it and told me something was spilled inside it and everything was ruined so they couldnt fix it. i didnt believe them so i took it home and opened it myself and the inside was spotless nothing wrong with it. ordered a new charger and battery since i wasnt sure which one was the problem. all i had needed was a new charger instead i paid for them to tell me it was unfixable when they hadnt even taken it apart
Always helpful and honest service here. Tend to be very knowlegdable in all electronic aspects.
The staff was friendly explained everything I needed to know regarding my tower & figured out the problem quickly!
Helpful staff, lots of informed employees ready to help!
Reliable, friendly and appreciative.
Our people!!! I do not think our family would cope well if we didn't have the folks at Computers Plus. Bought my laptop with their service warranty, our daughter bought her business one from there with service warranty. Our grandsons PC along with my husband has been to CP for repair and servicing. We all recommend it highly.
I was told to use Computers Plus for repairs because of excellent customer service. After this first experience, I will never go there again. Because I am still so livid over the rudeness, further damage to my laptop, and lost property, I will list... 1. Hinge broke on my laptop (made of plastic). When I took it in, the man stated that I would be CALLED the next day with an estimate. (I looked at my drop-off receipt as well just now, and it does state, in writing, that I was to be CALLED). 2. I was not called the next day. I was not called the next morning. I called and asked, and the man replied that I had been TEXTED the day before. I said that I had never received a text, and he simply stated that yes I had, according to their records. 3. He then states, "It doesn't matter anyway, because we texted to say that we can't get the hardware to fix the laptop. So there.". And yes, he did say "so there". Strike 1. After thanking him for his friendliness, I told him I would pick up my computer today. 4. When I picked up my computer, it was missing the protective cover I carry it in, EVERYWHERE. When I asked for it, I was informed that I didn't leave that with them. So, strike 2 for losing my cover. 5. I took the laptop to another computer store, who, by the way, will fix it and were incredibly nice. However, upon opening the laptop slightly to demonstrate the issue, I realized that Computers Plus had removed the OTHER hinge...resulting in the entire screen being detached from the computer. Strike 3. I plan on writing this review anywhere and everywhere. And I plan on telling as many people as possible to never go to Computers Plus.
it is a great place to eat with family friends or even alone prices r very reasonable
So far I have had 2 computers built here and each time they did a great job. They have a great variety of products to chose from and if they don't have it they will order it. The people that work there seem to really enjoy their job and finished ahead of schedule.
I actually went here on a whim because I actually had a few friends who had bad experiences here years and years ago but all I can say is wow- this was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had in my life. Unfortunately I do not remember the names of the two extremely kind and helpful women who assisted me, but they were both unbelievably kind and helpful. I dropped off my Mac Mini to have the hard drive swapped out for a 500 GB SSD. Not only was the staff very knowledgeable and helpful but they were very friendly despite me being over 2 hours late for my appointment. It was very affordable and priced well. They were done with the install in about a day and they threw in a discount on an extra service as well. Needless to say this is the only place in Evansville I’ll be going for now on. It’s nice to know that excellent customer service and people who take pride in their work still exist in this world.
They know their stuff
Loved the knowledged staff and great selection of computer parts and computers.
This company has a sales team and an owner that will hold your hand through whatever you need and really cater to you. I personally think very highly of them!
Friendly and helpful staff, though they don't usually carry the best newest items.
Very friendly and helpful
Awesome service and great deals!
Great deals and amazing survice. took a computer in and they fixed ut perfectly.
I highly recommend them. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and very reliable when you need them. The cost was very reasonable and I didn't have to go through long waits.
Helpful people.
Quick turn around on cleaning laptop, minor repairs, and removal of malware viruses.
Fast and knowledgeable! Worth the trip.

Got a great black friday deal and am excited to give my daughter a new computer for Christmas.
I informed someone at Computers Plus that I was in the market for a specific monitor that we had found on Amazon. Amazon says that it has next day shipping but after reading further, it also said that it typically ships within 1 to 2 months. Well, I ordered it through Computers plus in the middle of last week and it arrived yesterday!!! Any previous time that my fiance and/or I have been to this store, the staff has always been extremely polite, professional and they definitely know what they're talking about! Use Computers Plus for all of your technology needs and then some!
Very knowledgeable. Talk geek or break it down Barney style
Good place for PC. Shopping .
Would have given 5 stars, but the selection on parts is slim. Customer service is not the best in the world, but I was happy when I left the store. I did get what I came for, but would have spent more if they had a better selection of computer parts rather than putting the focus on selling pre built computers.
Fixed my issue. Took much longer then expected. Were very worried about making things right. Then they offer a very small discount. Computer now works great. They really did not want to replace what I wanted to replace. However replacing the part did fix the problem 100%. This was all followed by a survey where I asked to be contacted. That was a few weeks ago and no one ever got in touch with me. They will get your stuff fixed but the time frame may not be right.
Great service
I came here to get my old net book looked at. The staff were super nice and helpful. Looked at my computer and gave me a reasonable price to fix it. Staff were very knowledgeable, and educated me about my computer so I now know what I can do to prevent the problem. Thank you for all your help!!
Friendly folks. We miss Dave!
I bought an ACER laptop from them a couple years ago and had trouble with it just a few months later. We brought it in and spent nearly $300 repairing it. Since we didn't want to spend that much to fix it again if something were to happen again, we bought their "All Coverage" insurance on it for around $500. A couple months later the screen broke and the insurance somehow didn't cover it. We also found out after all of this had happened that the laptop was covered under warranty when it first broke and that we shouldn't have had to pay them nearly $300 in the first place. DO NOT GO HERE.
I am typing this review on my brand new, lightning-fast PC purchased from Computers Plus. I had originally brought my previous unit in for repair after it began habitually crashing, and after their technicians diligently attempted to revive it from numerous component failures, it became apparent I was just going to have to let it go... Lee was exceptional in helping educate me on the newest technologies and guiding me to a new unit best suited to my needs. The owner, Bill, even set up the new unit for me himself to operate as efficiently as possible; he clearly takes pride in the respectable business he's built. The rest of the staff I dealt with was always pleasant, polite, and ever-ready to help me in any way. I want to give another special thanks to Lee for stepping up to a difficult situation when my old unit become obviously unsalvageable and going above & beyond to ensure I left satisfied. Thank you, Computers Plus, for living up to your reputation; you've earned a life-time advocate with me!
Took computer in for service..freezing up....they called and told it was ready for pick up.....paid $285....got it home and it froze up as soon as turned on...called them, was told to "bring it in".........I don't think so.
This place sucks I was on the phone with guy he gives me a price on product I send a guy 30 miles to pick it up and the give him a whole different price wow
Lee was very helpful. I really like going to this place because everyone is so nice and patient with me!
Great computer techs that know their job
Your service sucks!!!! Took 3 weeks to repair my macbook air mid 2013 model. I am very disappointed because of your service. Expected much more.
These are amazing computer people always ready and willing to help. Will never buy a computer some where else again
Wow went there based on a recommendation and the guys at front desk knew less than I did. Best Buy crew had more knowledge. Rude! Tried to shop local but not this time.
I recently had to purchase a new computer. The technicians really knew what they were doing and I feel like we got a good deal! Highly recommend!
Not as knowledgeable as one would expect.
They offered me $80 for a brand new computer in an unopened box that I paid $500 for!
Very friendly. Quick service
Pricey, but, worth every penny.
I grew up in the era before computers so it has been a huge learning curve. WhenI needed my laptop fixed. The associates were are friendly, helpful and up front with all costs. They were fast and efficient. A big shout out to Marcus in the tech repair dept. He fixes computers all day long so he has to be brilliant! Not once did he make me feel dumb. He guided me through all my options and let me know costs on everything! I picked up my laptop and it works beautifully! Thank you!
Nice staff very helpful but very expensive!
Were very helpful and not too expensive. Even gave me a loaner power cord for my computer while I waited for mine to come in.
Knowledgeable , helpful staff. Well done.
Awesome! Work.

Best repairman around. I can always count on Computers Plus to fix my messes. Highly recommend this place!
Lots to choose from and good customer service.
Completely and totally thrilled and satisfied with my service. Very knowledgeable staff, especially Jeff, the man that worked with me. Very awesome man! Very awesome store! You all deserve a 6th star!
Apples in stock and on display.
Cabbed to the store, asked for a 6-pin to 8-pin PCIe power adapter or Molex to 8-pin PCIe power adapter, they found one and sold it to me. Cabbed home. After getting home, discovered that they'd sold me something else (EPS48ADAP). I called the store to address the problem and their first response was that I'd have to bring it in. Huh? $30 cab fare to get an $8 refund? Seemed a losing proposition, but the, um, gentleman who handled the call didn't see it that way. After spending far too long listening to him tell me why it wasn't their problem, he did say that he would give me store credit for the $30. I explained that I couldn't use store credit unless he also sold groceries as that's what budget the money would be coming from and I had no plans to buy from his store again anyway. I suggested that he might want to refrain from representing his store as being staffed by experts if they couldn't tell a PCIe power connector from a motherboard power connector and got a few minutes of push back about how amazingly wonderful they all were and how unreasonable I was being. Eventually he asked me what I wanted to make it right. I told him that I wanted them to send someone over with the right part and I'd let them have the wrong one. His response was that he couldn't spare anyone for the (likely) 15 minutes it would have taken to do that. I pointed out that he'd spent more time than that telling me all the things they *couldn't* do to fix this and how wonderful they were for offering and how knowledgeable they were about their products and the industry in general. That did not go over well. Bottom line, do the research yourself online. Order the parts from Amazon or Newegg. You can't trust these folks to back up their "expertise" with any sort of integrity. They might get it right. They might not. But if they don't, you're on the hook for fixing it. If something as simple as pulling a part for a customer can go this wrong, I hate to think what they could do to a more complex problem. This one cost me $30 in cab fare and an $8 part I can't use (and won't spend another $30 to return). You've been warned.
Great place for all your computer needs...they definitely know their stuff!! Very helpful people!
I have been dealing with a stolen laptop and insurance. The staff at Computers Plus have been very helpful in getting an estimate for the lost one and helping me to find a replacement MacBook Pro for my son. I will definitely tell everyone I know to use your store in the future.
I prefer going to Computers Plus over any other computer shop in the area. They always seem to have better prices and have what I need.
Great place to go to and very helpful
Consultative, good stewards.
Great company with the best associates. They are so knowledgeable, informative and friendly. I was super impressed! Can't go wrong with Computers Plus!
Brought my computer in to have a CPU dropped. Their tech assured me he was A+ certified. Dropped the CPU in and the computer still did not boot up. He told me it was probably a dead Motherboard. For a couple weeks I worked with Newegg to get a replacement Motherboard sent to me. I have a friend who has been working in IT for 20+ years and I brought it to him. He said the motherboard was fine and checked the CPU. Sure enough the CPU pins are bent. Computers plus, despite having me buy the lifetime warranty, says "Sorry if they're bent it was because of you not us" and I am officially out $120. We dropped a different CPU into the SAME motherboard and it booted up no problem. The only difference was the CPU. So I was sold a bad CPU or their tech bent the pins while putting it in. They have offered to bend the pins back which will make it a fully functional CPU again with no issues, except they can't take a return on it because it is a damaged product.
I got a great deal on a laptop for my wife. If we had any questions or problems the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful, unlike most big-box stores. Highly recommended. I'll be back!
Fantastic service, and extremely friendly. Would recommend for any computer needs.
My experience with Computers plus has been astonishing! The service I have received from computers plus over the past five years I can truly say that this is the best computer store in Evansville. I know you can buy from online retailers, or other local companies but the service and attention to detail that Bill and his staff provide is second to none and keeps me coming back. The service department turnaround times are swift and repairs are accurate. Prices are competitive and the merchandise you are sold is matched to YOUR needs, not Computers Plus's bottom line. The Computer Plus staff's goal is not to sell the most lavish product, but to give you a comprehensive solution “tailored to your needs”. The Computers plus product specialists are knowledgeable, and pleasant while taking the time to match you with the correct solution the first time. The staff has a diverse set of skills that they use to assist you when there is an issue that you might be having trouble with, and they really enjoy finding solutions for customers coming in with problems that other stores led them to believe there was no repair for. As a business owner I am a firm believer that a lot can be said about a company by listing to their former employees, and as a former Computers Plus employee I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for quality in service, great prices, and professionalism.
Definitely more like computers minus. Never will take anything to them. YouTube how to videos are more useful than bringing your computer to computers minus and getting charged for a diagnosis, then them fixing it without your permission, when you come back and they ask you for this large sum of money that you never agreed to pay.
I book an appointment for the next day because something was wrong with the desktop computer. Online it says "Bring in your Windows or Apple Mac desktop or laptop for a free diagnostics inspection." So I bring it in (at 10 am when my appointment was at 2 because they wanted me to drop it off early) thinking it would be free of cost to look a determine whats wrong. When I get in there they tell me about some 35 dollar fee for the diagnostics, unless you did what we said to repair it. They told me that they will give me a call when ready. I wait and 2 passes with still no call. Finally I have to call them at 5 wandering what is going on with my computer. They said they don't know the issue but they are for sure it has to do with a heating issue. They call me 30 minutes later telling me all I needed was a new fan, I ask him the price and he said 30 dollars. Now however you are in this trapped room. You can either have them repair it for a 50 dollar 30 minute labor fee or buy the fan and install it yourself but you still have to pay that 35 dollar fee. I tell them just install it themselves because it would only be a little difference. He said okay it will take about 30 minutes. I get there 45 minutes and its not done. He said the tech guy left at 5 and he had to keep it for the weekend and repair it "first thing" on Monday. I was furious and just bought the fan for a total of 65 dollars. While I get home I look up the price of my fan and it was 10 dollars cheaper at Walmart. Now that I'm overpaying for a fee and the fan I was furious. I get over it and just fix the computer. I'm no computer expert or anything but I installed the new fan in under 5 minutes. 5 minutes! When it would take a specialist who deals with computers 30 minutes. Thankfully they were right about what was wrong with my computer, but I would not recommend going here if you do not want to spend a lot of money.
Jeff ordered a battery for my mom's laptop. It was Easter weekend, and we were told about 7 business days. The battery came in Tuesday, basically 2 business days after I had been in the store. The price was very reasonable and for $20 extra we were able to get a life time warranty, which made my mom very happy. The people are extremely helpful and friendly, and the location is easily accessible. I absolutely recommend Computers Plus. Thank you for all of your help!
