Recently my PC decided to stop booting Windows. I took it into Alphapcmac as we had all of the pictures of our two year old son on one of the hard drives and I wanted them recovered before I wiped the system and reloaded everything. Dave did some scans and was able to see that the hard drive with the pictures was intact and told me how to wipe the system without losing the pictures. When I came to pick it up he didn't charge me for the diagnostics he had run and even helped me load the PC into my car. Its great to still see a locally owned company that knows what customer service truly is and goes the extra mile to take care of people. I highly recommend Alphapcmac!

NEVER GO THERE!!!! I took my laptop in there because I was having trouble with my charger. The man who "helped" me sold me the wrong size charger & told me that my charging duct was broken. I would've believed him & paid an extra $200 to get the duct fixed if I wouldn't have gotten a second opinion from a trusted friend. The man who worked there also uninstalled my Windows 10 update notifications & purposely broke my HDMI port. I had previously explained to him that the only reason I got the laptop in the first place was because I needed that port. I'm sure he broke it in hopes that I would come back to Alpha to get it fixed. I cannot remember his name, but he wore a hat. He is a truly horrible human being. Stay far away from Alpha!!!!

What a great experience. I was sweating not having a recent backup for a crashed PC. Dave was able to restore/recover my data after and I learned a valuable lesson (backup more often). Prices were very reasonable. I seldom write reviews, but I'd highly recommend this company.

I usually fix my own computer issues having dealt with them for decades. But I ran into a problem I did not know how to fix. I spoke to Dave (the owner) who gave me a reasonable estimate. I was sure he was going to try to find an excuse to jack the price up at the last minute. But he did not do that and fixed the problem within a reasonable time, stuck to the estimate, even giving me a discount. He even took the time to give me some insider computer tips on how to better maintain my own computer! How many of his competitors do that? Not many if any. I highly recommend this place for your computer issues because we have to keep these small shops in business as computes become more disposable, more reliable, with less need for computer repairs. If something not right on your computer, Dave will try to make it right for a reasonable fee.

I would VERY HIGHLY recommend Dave at Alphapcmac. Prior to using Alphapcmac I had some not so great experiences with computer repair shops. We have both an Imac and windows computer. Dave has worked on both computers - completely different issues. He is just as much an expert on Mac as Windows computers. He has always been very reasonable with cost, very good diagnosing problems, and offers quick turn around time. And I cannot say enough about his customer service. After being told by Signature Mac that it would take at least two weeks to diagnose and fix my macbook, I talked to Dave at Alpha Mac & PC and he was able to diagnose and fix my computer within a few hours as well as salvage the files from my corrupted hard drive.

By far the best experience I've had with a computer repair shop. Dave went above and beyond my expectations. Not only did he diagnose what was wrong with my motherboard when Asus could not, but he also fixed what was causing it to short out, free of charge. I had a great experience here. Despite my Toshiba laptop (which I purchased elsewhere) deciding to destroy itself, they were able to recover my hard drive and put it in a protective case. So, the computer was a loss, but now I have a new external hard drive (with a USB 3.0 port) and all my information. They were fast (despite a power outage), helpful, and very reasonably priced. I will likely come back here to replace my old laptop because of how well it went.

Dave kept me updated every step of the way. The cost was extremely reasonable and service was great. Dave even carried the computer to the car for my wife when she picked it up!

I wanted a custom desktop solution and went to 4 different stores. The guys at Alphapcmac listened to what I wanted. Asked me about any components I had in my old desktop that could be reused(*money savings*). I expected Alphapcmac to only build the machine for me but they went above and beyond that. Since then I have had them upgrade the machine twice, Dual boot O.S. and graphics card. They are the best. Update: The PC is still running strong 7 years later. I do I.T. work and I am on my computer 10+ hours a day. I don't feel the need to upgrade anything due to performance. I know I would have went thru at least 2 Dell computers by now. I had Dave build a tower for my brother-in-law and he raves about it. Thanks Dave!

After being quoted $700 to replace the screen on my laptop by Office Depot I saw a post on Facebook from Alpha Computers describing the same service for $145. Stopped in to drop off the laptop and Dave was very friendly and informative. I was told that the screen would need to be ordered and that I should have it back in about a week. Received a call 4 days later letting me know that it was finished and the cost would be exactly what I was quoted! When picking up the laptop I had several questions for Dave about building a computer for me to day trade with. He answered all my questions and showed true interest in building me the best computer for the best price. It was refreshing to deal with a professional that has your best interests in mind instead of just selling you a computer to get the sale. Dave, you have made a customer for life! As a first time builder, I ran into problems with my gaming PC. My wiring was all messed up and a USB 3.0 pin was bent on the motherboard. After going to the other computer place in town I was turned away by the rude remarks and I had a feeling that they really didn't care about the customer. After going to Alpha Computer, Dave was very helpful to me and explained every little detail to me. When I left my tower with him I told him he had free reign to do whatever he wanted as long as I could go home and start using it. I was more then satisfied with the end product and Dave even offered me help with computer problems later and gave me a student discount!

I built myself a gaming PC over the holidays, but ran into a freezing issue that I have never encountered before. Over a month's time, I tried all the online remedies that I could find. Though nothing solved the issue I was having. I even took it into a well know PC Repair shop and they couldn't resolve the issue and still charged me a terrible price. I was nearly at my limit and about to piece out the parts on eBay. When I found a link to Alpha PC & Mac on Google with great reviews. I decided to give it one more shot and took it in to them. Ok so like a dummy I spilled coffee on my macbook. After attempting to treat with 99% alchol and rice, it still kept shutting off on its own. Took it into Dave at Alphamac for the free estimate, and he did a cleaning and fixed a little something here and there and he turned it back over to me at no cost. What an honorable business. He went above and beyond and helped me just because he is a nice guy. It's super rare to find this kind of business ethic these days. Take your stuff into him. You can count on more than fair pricing and truly honest estimates. Trust. What else can ya say. I chose them because of their good reviews on line and I feel it only right to share my experience.

I had an issue with windows update that I could not figure out. After shopping around and being quoted $50 just to look at it by one company I decided to go with Alpha. Dave was very helpful and fixed my issue for a very low price. I honestly expected to pay more than $100 and it was no where close to that (and included a student discount). I also found that the accessories (cables, etc) they sell were significantly cheaper than best buy and other large retail stores and I plan on using them for any further computer needs. Also their hours are great! Thanks guys!
