Not impressed. My Acer would not turn on. Took it to BLH and the tech told me it was my power cable, I then went and hooked up my computer to my mom's power cable (the same computer) and it would not turn on, I'm now looking for a computer shop that can actually help me.

I like BLH because I have bought several devices there over the years. The machines are a good value for the money, but remember, you are buying a USED piece of hardware that is probably at least couple of years old. Don't expect the newest, shiniest boxes on the street. However, when repairs have been needed, they have been done quickly and reasonably. Based on how I see people react when I've dropped by, the most common thing I've seen is some irate customer who does not understand the limitations of the BLH warranty. The staff could be a little more congenial, but hey, what would you expect from a shop full of computer nerds? However, if you are looking for a bargain computer and know what you're getting, this is the best place in town. Need a spare cable or replacement mouse? This is the place to go.

Looking for a used monitor. Their prices for used monitor without HDMI are $50 for a 17" or $70 for a 19". I can buy a new monitor in that size for the same money, and with an HDMI input. Surely they are not accepting these as donations and then marking them that high.

Excellent place to take your electronic devices for quality service. And for $20.00 (if you do not live in Springfield) you can leave your old boxy TV set and they will dispose of it for you.

Sadly, it's taken over 20 years of dealing with Leo and crew for me to write a review. Sorry guys...unintentional. Regardless of my procrastination, it does not negate the fact that they've always been a shining example of business being conducted in a highly professional and courteous level. Over the years (having bought my used PC from them originally) they've taken care of my machine like it was their own. I literally could not be more happy with the service I've received from them.

Called looking for a specific adapter. “Kid” who answered the phone stated just any adapter will work. Umm no it won’t thats why I’m calling you. Again I ask “do you carry a universal adapter that will work for me?” “No we carry reg adapters, try eBay or Amazon”. Sure I’ll take my business online shopping instead of shopping small business local, Moron.

I have purchased two computers from BLH. They both worked really well. When I had an issue with one of them, I took it back. BLH fixed the issue, at no charge to me, and the computer worked perfectly again. I was in there today for a power adapter. Again, total class. I am a big fan of this company. If you treat them right, they will treat you right, every time.

I would not believe any comments from the one star reviews except for Rob. Jeffrey’s computer problem, they would have just plugged it in right than. (They have an abundance of cables) I have and will continue recommending them to everyone looking for a computer that is not looking to buy a new one! Anybody that has dealt with them can tell it is just hit reviews from competitors.

I BROUGHT MY GATEWAY PC TO BE WORKED SOMETIMEE AROUND 5.27.14 ...YOU GUYS SAID IT WAS FIXED..ALL I WANTED WAS FOR MALWAREBYTES TO WORK I HAD TO BRING IT BACK TO GET THAT RIGHT THENI HAD TO BRING IT IN AGAIN BECAUSE THE CD ROM WOULD NOT RUN THE AN EXEC FILE TO INSTALL MY PRINTER... A GUY THERE SAID BECAUSE ALL OF THE TIMES I HAD TO BRING IT BACK HE WOULD DO AN OS INSTALL IF NEEDED AND A"B A C K-U P" FREE...I LOST ALL OF MY PROGRAMS INCLUDING MY ROUTER SETTINGS.MALWARE BYTES IS NOT ON MY DESKTOP CC CLEANER IS GONE MY EMAIL PROGRAM WHICH WAS MICROSOFT OUTLOOK IS GONE...YOU GUYS DID NOT DO THE BACK-UP AND MY RECOVERY PARTITION IS NOT THERE

I brought my laptop in to be looked at because it was running slow. They removed the programs that were causing the issue and gave it an upgrade in just two business days! I also bought a desktop computer from them that is running great. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend them!

After stepping on my laptop and cracking the screen severely, I thought I'd give Geek Squad a chance. $284.93 to fix it. No way. Then Hyperion, $210.00 to fix it. Nope. BLH was my last resort and when I took it in, they were very polite and told me it would be $130.00. Definitely the cheapest place in town. Those other reviews are from a year ago, I just got my laptop yesterday so I think things might've changed. Definitely kept my business. Thank you, BLH!!

My Daughter sat on my laptop busting the screen, these guys quoted me $247 and it was going to take a week and they were rude, I went to Hyperion they were $225 and and again a week...luckily my neighbor directed me to PC Electronics on MacArthur they got it done by the end of the day and for only $119

Took my laptop in to get fixed. Called two days later. Picked it up, got it home - didn't work. Took it back across town to get it fixed Again. Two days later I get a call oh it's just slow to boot up but it works. I paid for it to be fixed! I even said if you can't fix it just let me know and I'll junk it and buy a new one.
