Elliot and Gabe helped turn what could have been a complicated situation into a perfect situation. It was apparent that their customer service was important to them. I was greeted immediately and completely taken care of almost instantly. It's very rare to visit an Apple Store, now, that truly represents Apple well. I will drive out of the way just to make this my home store for anything I need in the future! Thank you!

I went in for 4 genius appointments in less than a month because I kept having computer issues (not their fault, the computer was 4 years old). But each and every time I went in the employees were extremely friendly, helpful, and apologetic that I still had problems. In fact, at my 4th meeting with a genius (at this point the computer had been sent in for repairs twice), they couldn't pinpoint my problem and gave me a whole new computer. I couldn't be happier with their customer service and I will definitely be going to this store for all my future Apple needs. PS: If you make an appointment to see a genius, you may have a wait a bit, depending on how busy the store is.

i went there 6-7 times... all days different and at different time.... WAITING PERIOD is 40-60 mins... staff is rude sometimes..and giving wrong information ... they are telling refurbished remake iphone, a NEW iphones... when i exchanged at half money they gave me refurbished one telling me its a brand new one.... but within 24hrs that iphone also had a same issue.... but the manager is so nice that she gave me my money back...... (AND NOW BIG NOOOO TO APPLE..... ONLY ANDROID, superfast with 'ok google') future is android...

I give this location a 4, because they were extremely organized and patient. The tech troubleshooting my iMac explained everything thoroughly and was very informative and concise. My son took a music production class while I waited. Everyone was nice and accommodating. I give apple a 3 or 4 in general because you would think pricing for repairs of Apple products would be more competitively priced.

If I could give zero stars I would. Never will return and seriously thinking of swithcing to galaxy. The guy who helped me made me feel stupid. I never leave reviews but hope someone reads this. I have gone in three times now and had my phone replaced. I paid 400 dollars for a new phone because I shattered the screen only to have it replaced with a non working phone and then getting it replaced again for a non working phone that now says no service.They had a two hour wait time so I came back only to be rushed off telling me he couldn't help me because my sim card. He didn't want to help me cause they were closing soon. He told me to call sprint. FYI I spoke to spring who told me there is technically something wrong with the device which I tried explaining to him but would not listen and made me feel dumb. He then told a different guy in front of me that I was trying to get my phone 15 mins before close time. I told them I would leave if they were unwilling to help and wanted to go home and i would just go another day without a phone. Don't come here. They just give you refurbished phones anyways.

I will keep this portion fact based and brief. I made an appointment for 5pm Thursday February 14, 2019 to repair my iphone 7. I received zero notification there was any issue. I arrived early, there was an employee waiting outside to let me know the store was closed due to the system being down. The employee was recommending using the Woodfield location to make an appointment. I asked for his assistance making an appointment because I did not have access to a phone. He flat out refused to help due to “security issues” and the “system being down.” Some final facts. I went through 4 IPhone 6 due to product malfunction in under 6 months in 2017. I have purchased 12 apple products over the last 15 years. 1000’s of dollars spent. I will use my opinions in this section. The employee out front displayed deplorable customer service. He is a toxic person. When I asked for help, he was rude, proud to say no. I turned around and weighed my options, he kept chiming in. When I walked away, he continued to rudely antagonize me on my way to my car. I have had bad experiences at this location before with customer service, but this was beyond bad. I can deal with the store being closed, that is out of the employees control. I can deal with this being my 5th phone issue with apple in a couple years. I can’t deal with being treated like garbage.

I went to make a purchase and was treated with such arrogance. I felt as though I was bothering the sales person. I hope I never need to go to an Apple store again. Much prefer purchasing product thru AT&T sales people. I limited my purchase today because of the attitude of sales person- his loss.

I have had my MacBook for almost 7 yrs. The 1st yr. I purchased a package of appointments to help me w/ all the features on my Mac; coming from a Windows environment. The person I worked w/ was good. When my battery wasn't holding a charge, they installed a new one without batting an eye. I recently was having issues w/ my Mac and took it over to the Apple store and the Genius Bar wizard knew what was wrong: I needed a new operating system. After purchasing a backup drive (had never backed up my computer), I rescheduled and went back for the new op. syst. install. They were wonderful. Had a couple other questions about doing stuff on my Mac and they were helpful. Had to go back again for a couple issues relating to the new system and again, they couldn't have been more knowledgeable or patient. My Mac is considered "vintage" at 7 yrs. old and they knew what to do.

Worst customer attendants. Screwed up the appointment time. Baseless and useless explanations given on apples products not working properly. Senior technicians, good for nothing, totally worthless. Had to wait a few days to get in, but the holidays were partly to blame. Once I was seated for a 3:30 pm appointment, I only had to wait about 15 minutes for a Genius. My Genius, CHRIS was very helpful and agreed I had a rotten apple phone. It was almost new, wouldn't charge and dangerously overheated. He got me a new one, and I was on my way home by 4:00pm. Shout out to Anes for being awesome and letting me open up my new iPhone box myself! Maybe it’s a millennial/gen z thing but I’m offended when people do it for me and don’t even offer. Also thank you for respecting that I already knew why I was there and knew what I wanted and didn’t need hand holding by someone having to describe the product to me as if I didn’t already read about it online and watch a few unboxing videos. Wait times are a bit ridiculous for the genius bar. If you come in late in the day, don't expect to be serviced the same day. Other than that, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

I will preface this review by saying that I have touched and used an iPhone and I have always been and always will be an Android user. Having worked in I.T. I have never been an Apple fan. Far too proprietary for me. Having said that, I had to go here with my daughter so she could get her phone, that she owns and has for two years unlocked after having the screen replaced. Ridiculous really. We were informed that all she had to do was connect the phone to a computer, login to the iCloud and she could unlock the phone. Ok. Let's do that. Well there's only one problem. It's a Tuesday afternoon and the store is packed for some reason and it's going to take about two hours before we get to sit down with a tech at the "Genius Bar". The name is a misnomer. We had traveled 45 minutes to get there and we needed their help so we had to agree. So even though the help they would provide was free, we had to go sit and spend $50 on lunch while I waited for the text that they were ready for us. I don't see the attraction. Never will.

My MacBook crashed while I was at school and wouldn't turn on anymore. Calling customer service was a complete fail. Brought it here and they knew what the problem was in minutes and were able to explain it too. Said it would be ready in 3-5 days and was ready the very next day an hour after they opened. I walked in to the store today, without an appointment, on my lunch break. The staff was really understanding and helpful. Not only did they assist me immediately but they were able to resolve my issue in under an hour so I was not late coming back from my lunch break. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Came here last Sunday and it was my first time ever stepping foot in an Apple store, though I’ve owned an iPhone for the last several years (having always bought older models, I purchased them from other places). Not quite sure why all the poor reviews, but I did have a good experience. Brought in my older models of an iPad and a couple of iPhones to get store credit and also planned on purchasing a phone outright. The wait was a little long, about 40-45 minutes, though it was to be expected as it was the weekend. I didn’t know how the sign in process worked upon walking in, but all it took was to ask one of the employees and they kindly directed me to the right person for signing in to get in line for assistance. Suzie was the employee who assisted me. She was pleasant and helpful. I was able to get store credit for the items I brought in and purchase the phone I wanted within an hour of getting assistance. The process wasn’t at all difficult. Thank you Suzie for the great customer service!

My phone had a network connectivity issue and personal did not want to check phone and just ask me to go to network provider and talk to them , after that he asked to change a sim card .... after all of those I still had an issue. After couple of weeks doing all that he told me that my warranty expire a month ago and they wont fix it ....NOT PROFESSIONAL !!!!!

Why is it cloud so difficult to use iCloud. States I have no storage and 4 gbs of back up. I check my back ups and it’s 132mb. It won’t tell me what is taking the space or how to get rid of it. Useless considering when I used it to update to my new phone it deleted all of my old photos. Why are you making this so difficult it’s like you just don’t care. I can’t contact anyone and the forums are a joke. Makes android look like the better option.

Poor customer service. Treat me, a college student, as some sort of a person who would go into the store to play with their devices when I actually want to talk to a specialist regarding to certain devices before I purchase it. They ignore my repetitive requests. Once I got a specialist, he looked like he still drunk from the night before and answer my question without further explaining what might cause the problem, how could I work around it, and what is the alternative devices I should used. His answer were either "Yes" or "No". Again, I spoke to a person who claim himself to be a "specialist", yet all I got was "As I have set before, it might not work with your current devices". Unprofessional indeed.

This is the type of store Steve Jobs would have been proud of and the company in itself has evolved way more since the creation of their computers in 1976. I have been here a couple of times and the staff itself is helpful as they never push me into buying anything and as an avid consumer I always research ahead of time. I am not going to cry into my cornflakes about the Genius bar wait as I have a huge tech background as it makes sense to make an appointment but I guess for the lesser fauna who does know how to press restart this has to be a challenge.I highly recommend this store!

Absolutely pitiful customer service to say the least, and even after sending a survey asking for a response, one month later I haven't heard anything. I will never be back to this store, do yourself a favor and do all do your business online. This store is a waste of space, and only having one good team member on a team of 20 is a major staffing problem. If you think because you are Apple, you're too big to fail, you are wrong. I will never be back and I hope this review saves others from the same issues I had to deal with. Quick second of praise, if it weren't for Jim (Manager) this would have been the worst customer service experience of my life. At least you have one Gem, the rest of your staff need to realize without the customer, you cease to exist as a business.

Today, I went to the store and was immediately greeted and helped out. Someone scheduled me an appt to meet with the genius. The store team is extremely organized so I waiting less than 5 minutes to get help. A team member that really stood out to me was named Ryder. Ryder was extremely friendly and amazing. Ryder helped me get what I was looking for easily with no issues. I am truly thankful there are people like Ryder at stores like Apple. Went there to buy a new iPad as a Christmas gift. I was standing by the iPads looking them over for about 10 minutes. There were approx. 15 Apple employees in red shirts in the store and several were just standing around talking to each other. One was playing with a robot that was walking around the store. I went up to one of the employees and ask if they could answer some questions about the iPads I had. He said "are you in the que?". I said what is that. He said you either need to check in online or with the person over there. I said that I just want to buy an iPad and be on my way. He said that he could not talk to me unless I was in the que. I went over to the guy by the door to to get in the que and asked how long it would be because I was on lunch and had limited time. He said it would be a 45 min to an hour wait. I said there are several Apple employees just standing around and I just want to buy a iPad. He said that's not how it works. I turned around and walked out. Apple's system is way too complicated. Why can't you just walk into a store and simply buy something. Went down the road to Best Buy and they were very friendly and answered all of my questions. They had a lot of Ipads in stock and had the one I decided on. I bought a few others items while I was there, so they got more sales. Best Buy was great!! Apple was ridiculous. Apple makes great products, but their stores are horrible!!

My experience there was pretty quick after having some troubles on the phone. As soon as I arrived i was greeted and I told the first person that I was here to meet someone at the genius bar for a repair. He said it would be a minute or two. 5 minutes goes by and I am greeted by the Genius. He was extremely nice and knew the problem right away. He told me the repair would be about an hour and a half. I asked how much and he told me that they would take care of it! He got all my info and I was gone in the next 5 minutes. After the hour and a half I arrived at the store, and a different employee ran out my phone and just had me give my email for receipt purposes. I was gone within 5 minutes of entering the store with a repaired phone.

Going to the Apple Store in Deer Park is a necessary evil for me. My aunt looks to me for help with her electronic devices which are all Apple products. When something goes wrong with them and I can't figure out what is going on, we head down to the Apple store for more help. The interior of the store is very noisy as it is always busy with many customers and tech employees. The room needs some serious acoustical help due to all the talking being splattered against stark and hard furnishings. I feel like the employees know just the basics and are schooled to look up on line any other answers they need. There doesn't seem to be an expertise that comes from several years of working job.

A Delightful Experience Walked in without an appointment, my old IPad had died, and was considering the purchase of a replacement as well as reviving my old unit. We lucked out with Alex. He spent a lot of time learning about our requirements and guided us in the selection of a new iPad. We bought one, then he fixed the old unit & helped us set up both of the models for immediate use. If I could give this store less than one star I would definitely do so. Although I have never dropped or mistreated my laptop in any way, I have had an ongoing issue with my MacBook Air for the past few months and originally went into the store in September and was told that I had to have my fan replaced and it would be close to $150 charge. When the Apple representative brought back my laptop I noticed a small dent on the bottom where they would open it up and brought it up to him, he said he might have accidentally dropped it but the laptop is working fine so it shouldn’t be an issue. The next day my battery started acting weird and worked way worse than it did before the fan was replaced. Since I am a college student and do not have much money I decided not to go into the store again because I knew they would charge me for something else to be replaced. The other day, my trackpad and keyboard started acting up and I tried powering it off but it went completely black and would not turn back on. I had gone into the Apple Deer Park store to try and figure out what is going on. The gentleman that was helping me, Steve, went into the back to “run tests” or something and came back out saying it was an issue with the motherboard it has to be replaced and it’ll cost roughly $500-$550, something of which I do not have. I brought up that they have misdiagnosed my Mac before and could this possibly be something else as well as I asked to speak to the manager. The manager, Anthony, came out without even looking at the Mac and said that Steve was right and we’d need to pay that amount otherwise the laptop can be recycled. The day after, I had gone into Best Buy to see if we could get any value for the MacBook or to see if they can take a look at it. It took them less than 5 minutes to turn the laptop on by plugging in an alternate keyboard/mouse. The issue was not the motherboard at all but rather the keyboard and trackpad needed to be replaced. We had contacted Anthony again to relate that they in fact did misdiagnose my issue and this is ridiculous that they kept trying to push for me to pay more and more money to have something that didn’t even need to be fixed…Anthony kept arguing with us telling us that we were wrong and he was still right it’s the motherboard. Overall, this is the worst customer service experience that I have ever had at this Apple location and felt that they were only trying to exploit money from me as a customer, thinking that I don’t know anything about this so I’d just give in and pay.

My MBP was 3 years old and the logic board went. With a company wide recall, Apple replaced my motherboard. Not only that, they replaced my DVD drive, chassis, keyboard and display. Out of warranty, and NO CHARGE! I worked with Joyce at this location. She was amazing and made the right decisions to keep a customer very happy. there is a reason this company is the richest company on the planet. They are doing a lot right.

Came here last Sunday and it was my first time ever stepping foot in an Apple store, though I’ve owned an iPhone for the last several years (having always bought older models, I purchased them from other places). Not quite sure why all the poor reviews, but I did have a good experience. Brought in my older models of an iPad and a couple of iPhones to get store credit and also planned on purchasing a phone outright. The wait was a little long, about 40-45 minutes, though it was to be expected as it was the weekend. I didn’t know how the sign in process worked upon walking in, but all it took was to ask one of the employees and they kindly directed me to the right person for signing in to get in line for assistance. Suzie was the employee who assisted me. She was pleasant and helpful. I was able to get store credit for the items I brought in and purchase the phone I wanted within an hour of getting assistance. The process wasn’t at all difficult. Thank you Suzie for the great customer service!

My phone had a network connectivity issue and personal did not want to check phone and just ask me to go to network provider and talk to them , after that he asked to change a sim card .... after all of those I still had an issue. I had an appointment for the Genius Bar at 2:50pm for the touch screen locking up on my IPhone X. They promptly replaced the screen on my out of warranty phone at no charge in around an hour. Fast forward two hours later and I’m in a terrible 3 car accident and to my shock my screen was completely unresponsive and couldn’t call emergency services(forgot about the SOS function by pressing the on button), police, or anyone to come pick me up so let’s say I was upset to say the least. I went back to the store and spoke to the manager on call(who was a Navy Coreman and I was Army so we had to tease each other a little) but he understood and apologized for what transpired and then proceeded to walk in back and grab me a new phone at no charge! They didn’t have to replace the phone obviously but I’m certainly happy he did.

Brought my new iPhone X in for system issues as well as problems with iCloud. First woman said she was not an HP expert so she couldn’t help me in terms of my back up issues with the iPhone. Diagnostics showed everything all clear. I kept explaining my problems with the phone in depth... She brings in an “elite” from the floor to help. Low and behold he isn’t an HP guy either and the solution to all of my problems was to restore my phone as new and individually download all of my files from my laptop. “Don’t use iTunes backup” oh okay. ABSOLUTELY NO HELP. Need better solutions to unoriginal problems and better all around help for people who don’t just use apple products.

I came as a walk in today at 6:00 pm. The man who checked me in said it would be a 45 min wait. I sat there for an hour and then asked another employee where I was on the list and he could not find my name and told me to move tables. I sat at this table then for another hour and I finally got up and went to the lady that was then checking people in and asked her what my status was and she told me my appointment was not until 8?!? I told her I was told 45 mins and she said "well it says here you made an appointment for 8:00".

Poor service. I had to approach workers for help, no one offered to help until I approached them. They have a slow service. I would recommend the Apple Store in Schaumburg. I also had a friend who went there and got their computer back damaged, which they eventually fixed but just be aware of your products conditions before and after leaving them there overnight.

Appreciate the ease of their online ordering and in store pick up process. Got a text message indicating that my order was ready so I wouldn’t show up too early and they sent a QR code to add to my Apple Wallet so that when I arrived, they’d simply scan it and knew what I was picking up. Pick up went smooth and Mike helped me out in a very courteous fashion. Despite the crowds the day after Christmas, I was in and out with my new iPhone and wireless charger in less than 10 min. Would definitely go back again given the speed and quality of service.

Robert, the tech, did a wonderful job. Very patience and take me through the whole process. While I was in the store I didn't see any unhappy customers. I go way too often. I have never had a good experience. The staff is friendly but If I have apple care and I have not used my repairs up. I should be able to get a new phone regardless of whether or not you messed up last time. I feel like I would get better customer service from a computer which is sad. Took off of work and drove 40 minutes after receiving an email that said part was ready for routine battery replacement, only to get there and be told it would take two hours, and was told I was lucky it would only be two hours because it can often take up to five hours. Never ever will buy they product again despite the fact that I love they products, Bought Iphone X two month ago and took it with me to ride on Jetski, Did it with my Samsung s7 million times and nothing happened to it , So the Iphone X totally smashed after the ride and was broken I tried to unlocked it and locked the screen and now it is locked because "security" and apple cant open it and I will loose all data, why they are doing it ? No not because security like they say, they are very greedy and they want You to pay for icloud, How does it makes sense not to open the phone when somebody who bought the phone coming to unock it in the store ?! , In order to repair it/ give me new one they will charge me $550 + taxes, they took my old phone and going to fix it probably for few bucks and will sell it back to the market for $1000. The company is super greedy last time I bought something from apple.

I had a wonderful experience this afternoon working with Mike! My iPhone X decided to commit suicide after Apples most recent update, which had me very upset. My IPhone was 6 months out of warranty and I thought I would have to bite the bullet and shell out nearly $300 to have my touchscreen fixed. Mike took me from A-Z in no time and got to the root of the problem quickly. My phone was fixed and the screen replaced, free of charge, and is working like Brand New! Thanks again, Mike!

My wife has had endless issues with her iphone 7, since September when she her battery life was poor and she heard of the Apple program for $30 battery replacement. She had it done at the Deer Park, IL Apple store. Here are the details of our experience today and the reason for my rating and review follow… We visited the Apple store in Deer Park, IL around 10:30 am and were greeted by a floor rep after which my wife explained that she has had a lot history of issues with her phone and she needed to talk to a tech support person to get this resolved. She went back and said let me get you our chief Tech/"genius", but brought another Tech not the chief tech. He looked at their records and mentioned that this is the first repair for this device-which is technically true-but she has visited 3 or 4 other times for various other issues and visited once at the Northbrook store (and been given two refurbished iPhone 7's for swap/fix). She had also called Apple Care at least 10 times and spent at least 8 or 9 hours over literally days on the phone with Apple customer service and Tech Support troubleshooting, resetting, restoring, reinstalling, and starting as new. And additionally, she mentioned that the first time the problem started was six months ago! We thought it wasn’t fair to not take that into account off the bat. They went back and came back with the chief Tech Support person. He recommended getting another refurbished iphone 7 -going through possible pain point again or getting a trade-in now for the her current phone and getting a newer phone model. He seemed to think that iphone 7 inherently has the known issues - number of 7 phone that are turning up with these issues is increasing and evolving. So, it is likely that if we get a new boxed phone we will could have the same issues therefore, he recommended that we spend to trade in and get a newer phone model. If we have another issue with the refurbished iphone 7 (which would be the third refurnished phone that did this) then we would get a Brand New iphone 7. My wife and I did not like the thought of going through the pain of the possible/likely issues of the refurnished iPhone 7. At this point I mentioned that why can't they allow her to get the new iPhone 7 right now and avoid an addition pain point. He mentioned that it was their policy to have three phone swaps and then new phone to which we were exasperated and complained about having to do refurb again but they mentioned policy again so, reluctantly, we agreed it. But I mentioned that we are leaving unhappy and that I will have to write them a bad review about this experience. And that is what I have done here. Hopefully, my review makes sense and has some positive impact. Apple’s policy should not be used in cases as what my wife has gone through. Why must a customer go through this much pain and not get their problem addressed. For a titanic company like Apple, you would hope for so much better.

I understand walking in around closing time but that does not mean you should ignore our presence. You have older people who don't know how to make an appointment online but they still need help. Employees there saw us sitting there and didn't even come up and ask if we have been helped yet. I was sitting next to a young man who had been there since 7:00 and he was told to sit there and wait for someone to come around and help him. I finally took the initiative and asked someone if there was a chance to have someone come back to the genius bar and help the people who have been sitting there for a while now. Finally someone comes and helps the young man sitting next to us, but no one ever came and took care of us. We had an appointment and we sat there til 9:00 and everyone kept walking by. I have never had this terrible of an experience at an apple store before. This is the first time ever.

I have rarely ever had such excellent customer service. My Genius Brennan was just outstanding. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment and was seen immediately. He went above and beyond as far as I'm concerned. Ray has the patience of a saint. Cat helped me thru the purchase and set up of a new iPhone 6S. I went in to get an iTunes glitch fixed in my 4S (that is still getting resolved) came out with a new phone and a smile on my face. Deer Park staff all seemed to really be enjoying helping everyone in a very crowded store on a Saturday. Something that impressed me a great deal was the fact that the staff carefully slit the cellophane on each device box after it was placed in front of each person, but had the customer do the unwrapping. I just loved that! 5 Stars to the Deer Park Apple Store.

I tried calling to get an appointment not only was I not able to get a live representative on the phone when I went into the store the first person I talk to you wouldn't help me and referred me to someone else upon talking to the person trying to get an appointment as I told him since I downloaded the new software my phone has not been responsive to the touchscreen and has been having glitches. He tried to tell me because I got my phone through a third-party insurance that I would need to purchase a new phone for upwards of $400. He kept fishing for reasons as to why he wouldn't help me due to the fact I got my phone through insurance which is a brand-new Apple product so from my understanding I should be able to go to Apple with technical support he refused to help me and was not knowledgeable and I could tell that he was lying in order to get me to buy more products I have not experienced worst customer service and I'm extremely disappointed with Apple and their employees.

Was picking up a phone for a friend. Booked a time slot but was still made to wait in the line outside to get into the actual store. There was more staff than members of the public inside the store, so didn't make much sense. Probably made to wait in a line to build up "hype" for a product launch that day. We didn't bother to wait. Came back a few days later when there was more people inside of the store than on the previous visit and we were attended to straight away. Odd.

I came in without an appointment because my phone decided to stop working, and they got me in as soon as they could. Went in there for the touch disease issue with the 6 plus and was told by the dumb manager they could not do anything even though this was the 5th phone with the same exact issue. They did allowed me to use their land line to call customer service since my iPhone was basically useless . The iphone representative advised me they would send me a replacement phone for free and it was based upon the store manager if he wanted to issue a new phone on the spot but they had no control over him (wish I could remember that idiots name, but a bigger guy with glasses). He was a total prick and will never buy a brand new product from apple again. I use to buy every new phone that came out but ever since that experience I’m still on the 6 plus which I again had to have replaced and paid $150.00 for their problem issue which they finally recognize after a lawsuit.

Lied about how much actual time for the repair and then I had it fixed else where in 20 minutes. They only care about selling. The first time I ever walked out of an Apple store dissatisfied. Have been a huge fan of apple products and their support staff in the past but I would not go back in this store. I called the store manager afterwards and he could care less.

Had a problem with the screen on my phone being locked. Drove 25 miles from my home to Deer Park assuming I could be helped in an emergency. I was greeted by a store employee who was nice, but basically made an appointment for me. Apple Stores need to try to be more accomodating for people who have emergencies and need help in a pinch. Meanwhile, I still have a phone with a locked screen and am going out of town for business in 5 days.

I was having major problems with an iPhone 4s that I had bought a couple of months earlier, I scheduled an appointment and they helped me right on time. I explained my problem in detail to the employee helping me (don't remember his name), he took it in the back to check with the diagnostic computer for a couple of minutes. He came back and replaced it with a brand new one for absolutely free. He was very polite, helpful, and technologically savvy throughout the entire process. :)

Customer service on the phone is a waste of time. Every time I call I have to wait a full hour at least to even talk to anyone. After I get a hold of someone they say no appotment are available for over 2 weeks and to try stopping in and wait around.

Disclaimer: I worked her for nearly 3 years about 4 years ago, so i've got a bit of a biased opinion. Its important to understand this is one of the smallest Apple retail stores, so when it is busy its super busy and dead is dead. I use this store exclusively for repairs, I hardly ever buy anything here because of the distance. Repair times are very quick and appointments can be on time if scheduled smartly. Little realized fact is that tech appointments start early, before the retail part of it even opens. Try to get tech appointments before 11am or after 7pm. Also realize it is designed to be 1 appointment per device. Don't show up with a whole family worth of issues for a 15 minute appointment.

I brought in my IPhone 6 with a cracked screen, poorly working battery and a broken home button and for 100$ they fixed all of it and it is like brand new and they did it roughly 3 hours. I have rarely ever had such excellent customer service. My Genius Brennan was just outstanding. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment and was seen immediately. He went above and beyond as far as I'm concerned. Ray has the patience of a saint. Cat helped me thru the purchase and set up of a new iPhone 6S. I went in to get an iTunes glitch fixed in my 4S (that is still getting resolved) came out with a new phone and a smile on my face. Deer Park staff all seemed to really be enjoying helping everyone in a very crowded store on a Saturday. Something that impressed me a great deal was the fact that the staff carefully slit the cellophane on each device box after it was placed in front of each person, but had the customer do the unwrapping. I just loved that! 5 Stars to the Deer Park Apple Store.

I tried calling to get an appointment not only was I not able to get a live representative on the phone when I went into the store the first person I talk to you wouldn't help me and referred me to someone else upon talking to the person trying to get an appointment as I told him since I downloaded the new software my phone has not been responsive to the touchscreen and has been having glitches. He tried to tell me because I got my phone through a third-party insurance that I would need to purchase a new phone for upwards of $400. He kept fishing for reasons as to why he wouldn't help me due to the fact I got my phone through insurance which is a brand-new Apple product so from my understanding I should be able to go to Apple with technical support he refused to help me and was not knowledgeable and I could tell that he was lying in order to get me to buy more products I have not experienced worst customer service and I'm extremely disappointed with Apple and their employees.

I said I am here to buy the gift cards and he didn't let me into the store and told me to wait until another associate can help me out in a very rude manner. Was picking up a phone for a friend. Booked a time slot but was still made to wait in the line outside to get into the actual store. There was more staff than members of the public inside the store, so didn't make much sense. Probably made to wait in a line to build up "hype" for a product launch that day. We didn't bother to wait. Came back a few days later when there was more people inside of the store than on the previous visit and we were attended to straight away. Odd.

I came in without an appointment because my phone decided to stop working, and they got me in as soon as they could. It was a bit of a wait but, like I said, I didn’t have an appointment and, they were extremely busy. (I mean, it’s Apple). They figured out the issue. I left my phone with them, they fixed it, I picked it up. Every single employee that I had talked to were very nice and helpful. Definitely thankful!

We had a terrible experience with apple today. We were talk g to one of the managers, and he was being extremely disrespectful and he would cut me off when I was in the middle of a sentence. They were not helpful at all, and they were acting unprofessional and rude. This not the service I expect and want from a big company like apple.
