We would like to commend Cole, Matt and Mike at Quick Computer Services for fulfilling our requirements for a custom built computer. We provided them with a build spec and they responded with a fair estimate the same day. Following our approval they produced the computer in 5 days that completely met our expectations. We loaded the computer with two large programs without difficulty and they have produced the desired result. We enjoyed working with Cole, Matt and Mike during the process and highly recommend their services for your computer needs. We will definitely return to them for any future computer needs.

Brought computer in to get work on. There was no problem with the computer except to update windows and fix sound issue. I was still charge full price. Started to have issues with sound again and they wanted to charge me again to re -fix the sound even though it should have been fixed correctly the first time. Store manager was combative and not customer service oriented!

I had to replace the power supply in my desktop this afternoon, so I picked one up at Quick Computer Services at lunch. It was almost half the price of the same model at one of their competitors. Overestimating my skill set, I decided I would install it myself. After about a half hour of frustration, I brought the desktop into Quick and asked them to install it. Cole was able to do so and have it reassembled in no time at all. It is always a treat to see a master tradesman at work, and today was no exception. The guys at Quick Computer Services are also very friendly and knowledgeable. Good service is hard to find these days, but you need look no further than Quick Computer Services for your computer needs. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Like so many others out there, the Windows 10 update bricked my desktop! My computer was maybe five years old and had everything I wanted on it. It functioned great until Windows 10 was released. I tried everything to recover, fix, repair it remotely. No dice. I really liked the smaller scale foot print and aesthetic features of this particular model/ brand and didn't want a different desktop. I took it into Quick for a diagnosis. Well...D.O.A. was the verdict. Thanks Windows 10! They refurbished my desktop with a memory, processor, flash drive HD and power source upgrade and...wait for it! Recovered my data from my old hard disc! All this for about $200 less than a new computer! Service was done on time and at the price quoted. No surprises. Great job Quick Computer Services!

I had been visiting Quick Computer over the years to annually clean up my computer and get updates. Last year I bought a refurbished desktop from Quick computer services on the advice of Cole after realizing that my computer was already 12 years old, and Windows and I would not be getting new updates. Very happy with the set up, the computer system and the expertise of Sergio who came to the house and did the work. Last week I called on the services of Sergio to straighten out some tough viruses that I couldn't get rid of; see if he could figure out why things wouldn't download and get a few refresher pointers. Wow! Sergio did the job. Being a definite senior citizen I am always so pleased with the way Cole, Sergio and the staff are able to communicate and set things straight. Always grateful to have found their office and will continue to use them for their expertise and on time performance.

I had almost given up hope of saving my fathers Windows 8 laptop after he locked himself out of it less than a week after getting it. After being referred to Quick Computer Services my wife dropped it off on Thursday and I picked it up on Friday working better than ever. They even set it up for him to make it easier. It was such a wonderful experience I brought in my wife's old laptop that had a power issue for some time. The awesome technician quickly identified the problem as a faulty power supply and I had it back that afternoon. Now we have all of our son's early pictures back! The overall project cost me about $300, but involved building a $2,000 computer. I've waited years to finally have my own awesome computer, so you bet that I had to do my homework and find a company that I would trust. Quick Computer Solutions met expectations, with a little extra. Budget expectations were met. Time expectations were met. Knowledge expectations were met. These gentlemen were courteous to me and offered information that would help me make better (future) decisions. I trust no one else to touch my desktop/workstation but Cole at Quick. To my knowledge there's nobody with as much knowhow in the whole Boise area. About every three years or so we go through my machine and he gives me good, common sense recommendations for what parts can be updated to keep me running smooth and fast. In my line of work I CANNOT AFFORD DOWN TIME. Cole usually has my builds done before the time he estimates - the company name isn't lying, they help you out Quick. He's always treated me fair. The shop is small but well equipped. I recommend Quick to all my friends and family, give these guys a shot and you will be pleasantly surprised.

When we arrived in our new home in Boise our computer system was in two or three big boxes. Our children had helped us to pack and move and I was not sure how to put it all back together. We have a local area network with three towers and capacity for four computer stations. We also have two hard wired printers and a wireless printer. We needed this all set up in two rooms with WiFi. My son in law tried to help me figure it out, but the one who dismantled and packed it is still where we moved from. To make a long story short we were referred to Quick Computer Services (QCS) by a friend we met in church who is related to the owner of QCS. Anyway; Sergio was assigned to come and set up our system for us. It took him less than an hour and the system worked just fine until I had to change the name of the WiFi service and its password, then the wireless printer would not work. So, I called for Sergio one more time. He came and fixed the problem very quickly and efficiently. A week or two later my wife's system went off line and I couldn't understand why. So I called QCS and asked to speak with Sergio. When he called we discussed the problem over the phone, but I was still unable to bring my wife's connection up. So I called again and I explained to the tech services department that Sergio had been out twice and I was sure our problem was a simple fix. I didn't think it would take very long for Sergio to fix it. I also told them that I could not afford another service call for such a simple thing, When I asked to speak to the owner, they said he wasn't available but they would bring it to his attention and call me with the decision. When they called me, I was told that they would send Sergio out for a 30 minuet free service call. Sergio came and he fixed the problem, showed me what it was, and explained to me how to fix it all in about 15 minuets. I am very pleased with Quick Computer Services performance and especially impressed with their Technician Sergio. I would recommend QCS to anyone looking for a reputable computer service in Boise.

Quick is an excellent shop! The employees are extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and fast. I work in a business that utilizes a lot of computers, and we need them running. We had some kind of power surge, and one of the computers stopped working. Quick was able to diagnose the problem over the phone and let me know they had the right part to fix the computer. They were able to get it fixed and back to excellent condition that same day. I feel like most of the computer shops out there these days are trying to pull one over on their customers by overcharging for lack luster service. I didn't get that impression from quick at all. I can't recommend these guys enough. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

I am a long-time customer of Quick Computer Service (approx. 10 years). This is back when Mr. Scott Galloway was the main EVERYTHING !!! Since that time several technicians have joined the staff. I messed up my home PC (again) and made a date for a remote hook-up. This morning Sergio Galvez called me at the agreed time. In no time he had my PC "all fixed" via the remote. Update 7/7/2015 I've just had my annual 'tune up' and, again, cannot share enough positive feedback on this organization and their staff. This time, I pursued setting up a back up system and Cole provided his suggestions based upon my use, data I save, etc. Once established (software and a flash drive), I worked with Sergio remotely to set everything up (back up frequency, etc.). While I am not a tech savvy person, I am treated with courtesy, professionalism and patience. They offer cost effective solutions to any and all users needs. I believe Quick Computer Services is an untapped jewel for individual users as well as businesses. Once you try them they will be your 'go to' resource for all of your computer and IT needs. My thanks to all of the staff! 4/29/2014 A 5 star rating from this less than savvy user.. Excellent customer service (Tamara is excellent)! Cole performed my computer 'tune up' and was very proactive with his suggestions to boost up my security, etc. He showed me a couple of short cuts for weekly maintenance. My computer is faster all the way around and I am very appreciative to the team for helping me. I would recommend them to any one or organization that is in need of timely and cost effective computer/IT repair/service.

Treated me like a second class citizen when I came in asking about a case and motherboard combo and was met with a "what you see is what we got" and no comment besides that. They continued to talk about the superiority of smash burger vs. Main Street burger which must have been much more important to them. What "they had" was a few processors and some graphics cards with only a few cases to be seen that were "obviously" not for sale. Wouldn't recommend this place at all. Try four corners pc store. They're a bit of a drive but a least they treat you like a person.

Cole did a total re-install of Windows to remove all the bloatware and when I had forgotten the drivers DVD I simply took it back in and they did the extra work for no extra charge despite it being my fault! Computer is QUIET now and runs nice.

I would have given zero stars if I could have. They told me that my daughter's laptop was a throw away and couldn't be fixed. Then started in on their sales pitch. When I got home I googled it and was able to find the part for $11:00 with free shipping. It took me about ten minutes to take the laptop a part and another ten to put it back together. Dumb ass I would have given you a $100 to put a new dc charge Jack in for me!

Most recently when I was in the shop they helped me out with a laptop issue. The computer I am typing on right now is a custom built computer that Cole built 4 years ago. Although it is four years old it runs like a hero because they built me a system out of top-shelf parts. The computer was expensive. But worth every penny because it has lasted so long. My keyboard is a mechanical super-user keyboard that Cole personally picked out for me to accommodate my fast-typing needs. Five Stars!

A great thing about Quick Computer Services is the price schedule If you are not in a hurr, your repair is less expensive; but if you need something done right away you can pay a bit more to have a technician start on it right away. I love to save money-- but when I am in emergency mode it is great to have the QUICK comptuer repair option.

Dependable/ affordable machinery, always comfortable and confident assistance in Mike, Cole and Sergio! I know going to quick computers that any problem I present will be handled in an efficient manner. I don't have to worry about being nickle and dimed like at best buy or if I'll have problems immediately after the warranty ends. I've had my Business class Dell for 3 years and it hasn't failed me yet (they even replaced the mechanical hard drive with a solid state drive so I know its running at peak performance) and I spent 1/4th the amount of money I would have had to shell out at best buy for a lesser machine. They educate you on malware and viruses free of charge and even install cleaning programs during checkups to eliminate 99% of the gunk that slows your computer down. Would not buy electronics anywhere else!

I had Cole build me a custom workstation that cost over 3K. When it gets going, the workstation fans are about as loud as a weed-whacker so I need to wear ear protection if I use it for long periods or in warm weather. Cole's answer was to "put it in the closet". It isn't so much they messed up, but rather they had zero sympathy or any interest in fixing the problem or even trying to make it better. I have had other vendors try to fix it with no luck because of the configuration. Ultimately, I have had to purchase an entirely new, quieter workstation. Best be real specific when talking to these guys and don't pay upfront without an agreement for a refund in the event the same thing happens to you.

I produce the check you cashed for this computer, and you fix it instead of pretending I'm not even a customer. I'm being totally open with my name and picture, I have a LOUD computer, I have a copy of a check made out to a company called Quick Computer Services for $3275.39 but somehow that makes me a troll and not a customer. BUYER BEWARE! The computer I paid for is so loud I can't do webinars, skype, or conference calls with it on. You told me to just "put it in the closet" last time I brought it in so I am not sure how you expect me to feel good about the purchase or the subsequent service. However your response of utter contempt, dismissal and now threatening me is beyond the pale. You haven't changed obviously. Buyer beware.
