This is for FedEx. I requested and made a shipping label on your website and put in the weight and dimensions of my package, and the website clearly said it would only be $61. I thought that was great since the USPS wanted to charge me $200. I have just noticed that you decided to charge me more than double that at $138 because the package was big. Yes, it was a big package, but this is just outrageous. Avoid shipping here unless shipping small items.

Big box office stores are almost all the same, but here are a few nuggets about this location that have kept me coming back as a small business owner for 14 years. 1. Their printing services are sooooooo much cheaper than Staples, and the staff here is always chipper and willing to turn out a project in a hurry. 2. It is seldom busy. I have had a few times that they have been understaffed, but the staff has always been polite and has some hustle. 3. They always have a case of paper on sale. We go through a lot of paper and we can always find a 10 ream case for around $30. 4. You don't have to go out by the mall and all of the traffic on the Southeast side of town!

Picked up a very nice mesh seat and back chair from this location at a reasonable price. Very comfortable and sturdy. One of the bolts that came with the assembly had a malformation on it. Brought the bad piece in and had it swapped out for a new one in less than 5 minutes. I wish I could remember the manager and sales associates name, but they were two great gentlemen who wanted the sale to be complete and the customer happy. It's staff like this that can bring you back for future business. Kudos to a great couple of employees who went above and beyond!

Well it's been awhile since I have been in this store, I have one of those label makers, I've had it for maybe going on ten years, I never really used it that much, but when I bought it I got an extra thing of blank label cartridge just in case I run out, well I ran out of both of them, now I didn't get it at office Max , but I do know they sell the cartridges, so I went down there and asked for the replacement one and they bring me up this double pack, supposed to save u money and time, he checks on the price, omg wow 44.00 bucks just for the two, I could not believe what I was hearing, I didn't pay that much for the label maker and extra cartridge

The cashier misquoted the price multiple times and when the manager (Torx Miskin, I believe) came up to 'resolve' the issue, he also had no clue what the prices actually were! When I mentioned that I would not purchase at the price listed because I expected the price I was quoted, he stated "I could give you a couple dollars off". Oh really? A couple dollars off of my FOUR HUNDRED DOLLAR PURCHASE?? You idiot, I was offered, by the cashier, 40% off of the chair I was looking at, no way would I accept "a couple dollars off". I will not be returning to Office Depot. I'm convinced they are a bunch of idiots who don't even know about their own sales and don't have the backbone to back up what they tell a customer.

It's not often that you find someone employed by a chain-store who's willing to go ABOVE AND BEYOND the extra mile to solve some serious (Think "tamper evident tape") needs without recommending cookie-cutter, costly solutions. He was able to help me on more than one occasion and for THAT reason, I decided to take the time to go the extra mile and leave him a review. Thanks, Torq! You've earned my business.

Tried to ship FEDEX (which SUX) but they didn't have fedex shipping boxes. Store emp said they had requested them from fedex but hadn't received them yet. Told me I would have to buy one! I crammed the stuff to send them into a way too small container that I was provided elsewhere, wrapped tape around it and told dude it was between him and fedex.

NEVER go here for your printing needs, EVER. Horrible customer service, incompetent, and demeaning. I wasted over an hour trying to get something very simple done. The 2 men that were "helping" me would not listen to anything I was requesting, they decided to keep going with their trial and error ways, which did not work. I ended up having to come back the next day to pick up my product, which was still wrong! I paid for it just to get out of that place. Aside from my experience, I witnessed these 2 men being rude to other customers. One was a "Manager" and berating his employee over his headset for all customers near to hear. Very unprofessional and distasteful. I will never be back to this store for printing or any other product needs. Forget it!

They had a laptop on sale that I liked, so I went in to buy it. I stood around for 10 minutes with staff avoiding eye contact, not recognizing my presence, or offering to help. I told the cashier I wanted to buy a laptop. She said "OK," but nothing happened. She was just standing at on cash register and two other staff were talking to each other at another register. No one was checking out. I waited a few minutes longer and they watched me leave to go buy a laptop elsewhere. I won't be back, ever.

I ordered an online small print job for a color poster 2 days ago. I was told it would be printed yesterday by 6:00 p.m.. I came today at noon time to pick it up and they hadn't even processed it yet. No email or phone call to tell me it was not ready. Now I have driven 40 minutes from my office to pick up a print job that was not done and I have to go bring event items to the location an hour away and I don't even have my poster to welcome our employees with. DONT GO HERE! Just walked into this location to get one thing (Large post it pad) instead they had a promo sticker to buy 2 get 1 free. So I decided to do that. Only having one on the shelf I asked for help to find me two more to take part of the promo. Associate who came over didn't know how to use her machine and then manager came over to explain that they can't honor the deal with the SAME product in a different color. My company spends thousands at the company and we WILL be switching NOW. Rude and unhelpful again, DON'T go to this location. Staples across town is worth the drive. I would post 0 stars if that was an option.

Their staff is incompetent. Over the phone a woman informed that it would be possible to drop off a letter to be mailed out by FedEx. Upon arrival, staff informed that it would not be possible to mail out letter and that the person answering the phone must have not understood my clearly stated question, which was asked twice to make sure she understood.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. The ONLY way I will EVER walk into that store again is when they install self checkouts. Have to give the cashier my phone # 3 times and then have to tell him to take charges off a/c THEY are offering "buy 2, get 1 free"! He dropped some of my items on the floor and did not apologize that I had to pick them up. Then I have to reinsert my payment card a/c their machine is beeping...and it was already reading "Approved - remove card". Once again the Salina Office Max saved the day for me. I had spent MANY hours on the phone for a number of days with HP trying to get a new HP Laptop to print on one of my 2 HP printers. The techs at HP would take over my computer and finally give up with some kind of flimsy reason that a fix couldn't be found (The computer was less than 3 months old and one of the Printers was less than 1 month old). The HP printer techs would say something was wrong with the computer and the HP Compter techs would say I needed to go to the HP printer techs because it was not something they could fix. I loaded up both the printer and the Laptop and went to OfficeMax in Salina and in less than 30 minutes Jayce had it working and gave me the advice on how to get the older printer to work as well. This was not the first time they have come thru so effectively, but an example of the sincere service I treasure in getting each time I take a problem to them.

They had a laptop on sale that I liked, so I went in to buy it. I stood around for 10 minutes with staff avoiding eye contact, not recognizing my presence, or offering to help. I told the cashier I wanted to buy a laptop. She said "OK," but nothing happened. She was just standing at on cash register and two other staff were talking to each other at another register. No one was checking out. I waited a few minutes longer and they watched me leave to go buy a laptop elsewhere. I won't be back, ever.

DONT GO HERE! Just walked into this location to get one thing (Large post it pad) instead they had a promo sticker to buy 2 get 1 free. So I decided to do that. Only having one on the shelf I asked for help to find me two more to take part of the promo. Associate who came over didn't know how to use her machine and then manager came over to explain that they can't honor the deal with the SAME product in a different color. My company spends thousands at the company and we WILL be switching NOW. Rude and unhelpful again, DON'T go to this location. Staples across town is worth the drive. Their staff is incompetent. Over the phone a woman informed that it would be possible to drop off a letter to be mailed out by FedEx. If I could give them zero stars, I would. The ONLY way I will EVER walk into that store again is when they install self checkouts. Have to give the cashier my phone # 3 times and then have to tell him to take charges off a/c THEY are offering "buy 2, get 1 free"! He dropped some of my items on the floor and did not apologize that I had to pick them up. Then I have to reinsert my payment card a/c their machine is beeping...and it was already reading "Approved - remove card". And he grins and shakes his head at the guy behind me....yes, I'm the idiot! But NEVER again!

One of the most unbelieveable customer service experiences I ever had. Went into store with cash in hand to buy a metal storage cabinet. I pointed one the one I wanted and the clert went to check stock. He returned and said - none in stock. I asked if I could buy the display model - he said "no", it's against the store policy. I asked if he could order one for me. He spent several minutes on the Office Max website, and said "cabinet is not available" and he could not order one. He said "maybe you could order it yourself from home". So, cabinet on display in store but nobody can buy one, display model not for sale? could not order one for me. Obviously store has very little concern when it comes to customer satisfaction.
